someone's up of course the j to the ferg is up yeah it's turkey eve j ferg i thought i'd get on
here for a little bit my wife just left to drop dogs off at daycare and yes daycare and uh
something we do it's something we do so they can get their rowdy out.
A lot of times we hide them for the holiday.
We send them off to another place.
You know, this year we're going to have them all here.
The young kids are big enough to deal with them.
Is what it is, right?
So picking up quail today.
Yeah, picking up some bobwhites today.
Starting a new chapter in our little urban homestead here.
Something I've been threatening for a while now.
And today it begins.
Today it begins.
So it'll be tempting not to butcher them all and eat them for Thanksgiving.
I'll show you this setup.
You guys will get to see this setup, the whole thing.
Probably, you know, once I get it all set and ready to go.
Jay Ferg's got a hike on her hands.
Ooh, Port Charlotte, Florida, here we come.
That's a long one, 10-hour hike.
But, you know, you'll be amongst friends.
Be a lot of people out there on the roads, man
Biggest travel days of the year are upon us
Very important to
Very important to prep for the travel, right?
Prep for the travel
Very important thing to take
If you want to Mitigate
Oh it's 80 degrees in Port Charlotte
That might be worth a 10 hour
That might be worth a 10 hour hike
Jay Ferg
For 80 degree weather
So
If you don't have a backup antibiotic kit
You may want to start saving
It is an item worth taking on these travels
You know, you're going to a family's house
You're probably going to a place you're not familiar with
Good idea to have
You know, you travel, you get sick
Immune system gets messy
Things like that
You've eaten other people's food
That's always weird, you know
Something I take for granted because I cook every year and I not only cook every year, but, you know, I spent a lot of my adult life serve safe certified.
Right.
Which basically means like learn the basics, how not to kill people with your food.
Right.
And you forget, you know, you forget some people,
they just go like, oh, I got to cook Thanksgiving this year.
Crap, let me watch Food Network, you know?
And some of those basic things can go wrong.
You know, you can be like, well, you know,
let's season the turkey up on my beautiful big cutting board,
throw her in the oven,
and then let's get the salad out and prep that.
But, you know, that's a seriously bad one but jayberg says she's bringing benadryl and an epi pen we have a new
nephew who has a peanut allergy so we have to be careful about that this year that's a new one for
us got to be careful about that uh but yeah, we're going to be eating good.
I don't know what's going on here.
I started coughing before I got online.
As soon as I pressed go live, I started with a cough.
You know what I mean?
So we'll do a big old turkey.
I think I might do potatoes two ways.
Okay.
I think I might do traditional mashed potato.
Well, not traditional.
My mashed potatoes are basically potatoes mixed with butter, basically, and salt.
I barely use dairy at all in terms of milk.
And it's a whip game.
So while they're hot, you let them steam.
Let them steam until they're like very dry.
And then back into the pot and whip and slowly add butter.
Little bits of butter at a time.
Keep whipping.
They'll start to get a sheen on them.
It's called Pommes de Robuchon.
Joelle Robuchon, one of my heroes from the chef days. And it's great. It's decadent. It's
unbelievable. But another hero of mine is, particularly in the kitchen, is my mother.
And my mother would make a potato that is probably as good as Pomme de Robuchon.
And what she does is she does regular potatoes, boiled, smashed, fries up onion, right?
Puts the fried onion in with the potatoes.
Big chunks, too, like dices of fried onion.
And then she mixes American cheese into the whole mess so she takes potatoes she doesn't really whip them smooth right just smashed the cooked onion
whip mixes folds in basically the uh slices of cheese, and you get this freaking oniony, potatoey, cheesy,
unbelievableness, and it tastes like my childhood.
So I think we're going to do that too.
That's a simple one.
That's an easy one.
You know what I mean?
I'm just telling you guys I'm like just a slight distracted.
It's getting close.
I get to go out today. I get to buy the cheese.
I get to buy the
you guys do charcuterie?
You do the prosciuttos and the salamis
and the
manchegos
and the goat cheeses. You do that stuff?
I'm a big fan.
I'm a big fan. this year we're going to try
to do a lot of eating with fingers and less eating formally you know we got a lot of little ones we
got a lot of it's going to be a packed house we got dogs we got kids we got grown-ups who act like
kids so we're gonna have a lot going on.
And, you know, you get to a point where it's like the olive and pickle tray.
Oh, guys, guys, guys.
I was going to give this out to the members.
I'm going to give it to everybody.
like a week ago now almost,
a whole 35-minute diatribe of 1990s Thanksgiving at my grandmother's.
The whole thing, start to finish.
And if you grew up at that time or if you had kids,
whatever your situation is, you're going to enjoy it. I'm going to release it tomorrow early, and you can enjoy that.
It was going to be my Surviving America today, but I'm just going to take Surviving America off since I'm doing this morning one with you guys.
This is what I want to talk.
I don't know.
What do you want me to get on?
I don't know what else.
I am totally – like I've been out of sync with the news before.
I am so out of sync with the news right now.
I don't know what's going on.
I know drones are going back and forth.
I know it's the biggest Thanksgiving travel ever.
Australia's social media ban nears final vote.
That'll be interesting to see.
You think you saw a lot of people leave our country when Donald Trump.
Wait till they ban social media.
In Australia.
So Texas unveils site of proposed deportation detention facility.
Oh, boy.
Does America have the stomach for that?
Sorry.
I got to trim the beard up.
The beard's out of line.
Totally out of line.
The mustache.
Is America...
Oh, deviled eggs with homemade mayo.
Jay Ferg sounds delicious.
Is America capable of doing this deportation thing?
In other words, do we have the stomach for it?
Let me text my wife, tell her I'm doing a live.
She's not thinking I'm doing a live show right now.
And I'm hardly doing a live show.
You know what I mean?
I'm like one foot in.
I got like pajama pants on.
It's one of those days, you know?
It's what it is.
But does America have the...
Do they have the stomach to deport people?
To see babies crying and moms crying and grown men crying?
We see enough of grown men crying anymore.
I don't know.
I don't know if we can handle it.
You know, it's one thing to vote daddy back in, Right. Because let's be honest, there's a certain thing about Donald Trump. Right. Donald Trump, in some ways, in many ways, maybe to most people, he represents daddy. You know what I mean? The daddy that you hate. i think that's why the liberals hate him so much like the mean dad that you didn't let you paint your nails didn't let you dye your hair didn't
let you get the piercings and so you hate him you superimpose dad your dad issues on donald trump
and then i think the nation at large voted for dad again because they were like somebody needs
to keep me safe somebody needs to do something to fix. I need a dad to show up and fix this. And now the question is, you know, can the American children stomach what dad has to do?
I don't know. We'll see. They're going to be they're going to get crazy.
You know, this could be the deportation is likely to be the largest rash of civil unrest that we'll see through the Trump presidency, to be honest.
Massive, you know what I mean? Massive amounts of civil unrest, if I had to guess.
Because people won't be able to take it, won't you know it the same people the same people who are walking around new york city right now going like
this is ridiculous with all these migrants they're the same people that once you do something about
the migrants will be like hell no no, they won't go.
Jay Ferguson says our own citizens are still suffering from Helene.
All money and resources went to the illegals.
And don't forget about our buddies in Ukraine.
They really got the Christmas.
Huh?
They really got a nice Christmas bonus. And Biden is trying to hit him with one more.
Twenty four billion or something like that.
And nothing big.
You know, a little twenty four billion. What24 billion or something like that. Nothing big. A little $24 billion.
What's the big deal?
Just a little something.
They'll just slide across the table, $24 billion.
The American people are,
yo, fuck, buddy.
But that's it.
That's the situation, folks.
I'm not going to linger.
I've got a lot to do today.
It was a spur of the moment. That's all. There's a spur of the moment. Don't expect the surviving America today. It is
Patriot Power Hour day. But those guys were talking about taking a day off, too, and getting
back together next week. So could be quiet here on the PBN front. front members i put the air travel prep up if you want to watch that video
um i should have put something like that up earlier but i was prompted by the folks in element and
it worked out it turned out really good something to chew on i will say even if you're at your
destination there's some advice in that video that people can really uh take advantage of particularly if you're like you always go to the same place for the holidays and you're always traveling the same place.
There's good information on that.
It's a way more than just like bring your multi tool, bring your folding knife, bring your firearm, bring your personal, you know, less than lethal defense, bring your mylar blanket.
You know what I mean?
It's way
different video than that um so yeah and don't forget link down below give it a read tons of
great deals there's a giveaway that little chess rig right there we're giving away well we're not
giving it away but one of the people in the book is the uh the christmas hook is free starting today the e-book if you want to
get into some christmas uh feels right i did mention ryan in that video actually funny enough
jay ferg he does have some he does have a unique take and i talk all about his how he does his thing in that video um but that is a great call yeah all kind of stuff
all right link down below do yourself a favor become a member this weekend you know take
advantage of the discount 25 off it's so cheap for the year you guys have no idea it's if you
don't know the price you have to go see it you You'll be like, oh, I should have done it. We're getting to the point now where it's like the same prices.
It's probably less than a tank of gas for a lot of you guys to be a member for a full year.
All right.
I'm out of here, folks.
I do appreciate you.
Thanks for everything.
Happy Thanksgiving.
