In 2026, PBN family, we focus on podcasting.
We are back to podcasting in 2016. I told you this was coming.
there are some things we're going to divulge in today's show oh no coffee don't fit in there
um that have come rather abruptly some that have been in them what makes for a long time but to me
today's show and today is the start of prepper broadcasting network 2026
Donald trump kind of musied into my plans a little bit and he was impossible in the way that he
is impossible to ignore so but today it's monday it's the fifth day
of 2026, my year has begun and we'll go into detail on the camping trip in the cold weather
and the, you know, sort of meeting a goal of mine immediately out the gate on a different show,
probably Wednesday's show, okay? I want to keep this show dialed in. I want to talk about
exactly what it is we're here to talk about, which is PBN in 2026. And I want everyone to
understand that some big changes are coming and a lot of them for the,
better, if not all of them, for the better, depending on your opinion.
Okay?
Within this focus on podcasting, we are, we're going to be bringing archived shows back.
We're going to be bringing archived shows back from the dead.
This morning, I downloaded a massive collection of the strange truth, a show that I missed dearly.
I downloaded a massive collection of the next generation.
A show that I've missed dearly and have threatened to do with my own kids
and just simply haven't been able to do it over the years.
So we're going to, at the very beginning of the year,
we're going to at least bring these shows back.
In their pure form in the way that they were, as you've heard them in the past, right?
The shows that you may have listened to in the past, you will hear once again.
This is two reasons, right?
Number one, they're great shows.
They're great shows that don't deserve to be buried in the archives.
Truly.
I mean, some of these next generation shows are so good.
The titles, the topics, everything.
The strange truth was just, it was an epic show here at PBN.
I will not have this sort of new world of new content every single day of your life.
New, new, new, new, new, new, new, new.
dissolve the prepper broadcasting network legacy.
I understand the value in it.
I understand that news moves quickly.
I understand new things come out.
I understand we have new experiences.
We have new advice and all this kind of stuff.
And there's a place for new on PBN.
But as you know, middle finger to the algorithm is kind of my modus operandi.
and it's why we are who we are and what we are and the size we are and those things.
And it comes with the benefit of, I don't know, what is it, integrity and the downside of being
kind of covered up by those who are willing to bow to the mark of the beast, right?
2025, I took a shot, PBN family, I took a shot at video, I took a shot at YouTube again and
rumble and those kinds of things and uh i did my work i did my studying i i got a really good
understanding of what it would require to be successful on those platforms and it's just is what it is
it's not for me it's not for us it's not it's just not maybe at another time i don't know
but at the same time i really hate so much about what these platforms want you to do and and
what they represent and one of the things that
that I hate most is the constant that like that they these platforms necessitate you make something new
which I think is the crushing and destruction of greatness I really do I believe because we've done
shows in the past on PBN that have been so good that I've logged them away for later live streams
and so on and uh and there's a just millions of content creators out there who are doing the same
thing. So in order to step out of that sort of herd, and to put, you know, drop anchor on
PBN itself and let the rest of the sort of mindless content creators go and do new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new episode every day, new
new episode, every day, new episode. Right? And bury everything they've ever done.
now we'll be bringing whole series back from the dead and playing them throughout the week
they will likely go on their respective day so the good chance you'll hear the strange truth
back on Fridays again like it was a good chance you'll hear the next generation on
Tuesdays right these pre-recorded shows will likely drop around noon each each day
that they're going to be going up and it's the beginning you know it's
the beginning of bringing back the archive where it's pertinent, where it makes sense, and
delivering to you guys some of the 6,000 plus almost 7,000 podcasts we've created over the
years that are phenomenal.
And it makes no sense to bury them.
You know what I mean?
It makes no sense to bury them with another show about water storage, unless there's
something pertinent within it, right?
So that's one massive direction that we're.
We're going to go in PBN.
We're going to focus on podcasting.
We're going to bring podcast archives back.
I also would like to bring to life compilations on PBN.
I'd like to bring to life podcast compilations that are longer in form, right?
In other words, something around the three to five hour length that might include just a collection of Dave Jones, the NBC guy,
over and over, right?
So, in other words, you know, five, six episodes in a row of Dave Jones, the NBC guy hopping on and doing his thing on a variety of topics.
Something long form that you can really sit down and listen to that is one of your favorite hosts, you know, over and over and over.
If you could see the depth of content that we have, you would feel the way I feel about it just, you know, falling away into obscurity.
I'm not going to allow it to happen.
And we don't need to.
You know, Spreaker and the audio podcast game is not built as heavily as YouTube and video platforms are on new content, new content, new content, new content, right?
So, yeah, that's one massive change here or two, I don't know, several.
There is something happening right now, for those of you who are listening consistently and regularly, that might surprise you.
and that is, there are ads on the shows.
There's a little button in Spreaker that allows you to monetize your show,
and we do enough downloads that we're allowed to monetize,
and it makes a difference.
And what I want you to understand is this is a thing now.
If you didn't watch the New Year's Eve show,
then you didn't hear the talk,
but the downloads have increased,
and they have increased in a way that we're not really quite sure of.
And as crazy as it sounds, we think it's the TSA.
I'm sorry, not the TSA, the NSA, because they're all coming out of one place.
And Dave Jones jokingly said we ought to monetize their traffic, and that's exactly what we're doing.
And in doing the, in monetizing this big burst of traffic and putting ads on the podcast that you want to listen to,
First and foremost, to all you members out there, you guys are going to be ad-free in the very near future.
Don't worry about that.
We're creating a supporter club for members on Spreaker that is going to be the PBN membership.
And I'm going to talk about this sparsely because the members are going to get a full breakdown on this.
But we're creating a PBN support membership over on Spreaker.
for a number of reasons.
I'll talk about it with members.
If you're a member and you've had trouble logging in in the past,
if you're a member and you've had trouble changing your password in the past,
had trouble getting to the back dashboard of your,
we've had issues with our membership software,
and I'm kind of done with them.
I'm kind of done with them,
and I'm kind of done with the headaches of managing things that don't work.
So for the sake of this podcast and what's going,
on in the future, we're going to create a supporter tier over at Spreaker using their membership
option, which is free. And it's part of what we already pay to be on Spreaker. There will be
one $5 tier. And if you sign up for that $5 support tier to be listed down in the show
description, then you will no longer have ads. You will no longer have ads. You will have
Currently, immediately, you will have access to all the membership podcasts that are available over there at Spreaker, and it's very easy to filter through those, through what's membership and what's not, which I really like.
And then in about a week's time, you'll have access to the PBN membership videos and documentation and podcasts.
You just got to give me a minute to get that up.
For those of you who are already $5 a month members, for those of you who are lifetime members, for those of you who are members in any regard,
largely your membership won't change, okay?
Largely your membership will not change.
And, yeah, you'll have access to all the things you've had access to before.
Your passwords, your emails, your contacts, your payments, all that kind of stuff.
Your access to the background, to do whatever you want to do with your account will be a thousand times better because it'll be handled by Spreaker.
Okay.
It'll be a thousand times easier, a thousand times better.
It'll be very simple login, you know, no login issues.
Every issue that we have had through the years with member press, our software is going to go away.
And it's going to be handled, and it's not going to be handled by me.
And I'm really happy about this change, right?
It won't take away at all from what you get from pbnfamily.com.
Really, it'll probably just make everything easier and more streamlined, which is what I
want for members right i feel like member i feel like being a member at pbn can be a bit arduous with pbn
family dot com and that's due in large part because i i'm not a webmaster you know what i mean
and i don't pay a webmaster we couldn't afford to keep a webmaster on staff it wouldn't work
so we've got to get lean we've got to figure out what makes sense and we got to make sure that
what we're providing the members is uh easy to use and gives them what they want that's really all i
all I care about. You want to support the prepper broadcasting network. I want you to get your
podcast ad free, which is what will happen immediately as a supporter. I want you to be able to get
access to the membership podcast, you know, the membership content only, easy. And if you have any
kind of account issues, I want you to be able to deal with them. Easy. And some of that stuff's
not working. So we're going to change that to going into 2026. All the things that we have done
year over year you can expect
Tier at PDN.
You can expect all the same things
that we have done over the years. We're already
developing the next sort of
Azure Force operation
for, you know, summertime
a la rationa ruin,
a la Gotham get out, those kinds of
things. We're already planning that.
It's already in the works.
And it will also
be phenomenal. You know what I mean? It'll be
great. It'll be awesome. I can't
wait. But, you know,
roundtables, guests, more guests this year probably than ever before you'll see at PBN.
We really, the one-off sort of guest podcasts have been a whole lot of fun.
Another major focus here at PBN is definitely a focus on the quality of life aspect of
prepping, survival, and homesteading.
While it's been a great tool through many podcasters and many,
video creators and so on, many people in the prepping world to address the audience with a
problem, address the audience with a calamity, a catastrophe, a potentiality for a nightmare
in the far-flung future, or maybe right around the corner, or maybe today, what I want to
do with our lifestyles, because I've seen it enough now, it's proven, I know what it is,
you know what it is if you're listening and have been for a while and living the life.
The unsung hero, the real motivational force, the real benefit outside of peace of mind,
is the quality of life aspect of living off-grid, living on a homestead, living on an urban
homestead, living prepared, living frugally.
And in the times that we live in now, PBM family, it's never been greater and more easily, you know, easy to isolate.
you talk to people about the way you live your life and it's changed it's changed for the average
American five years ago you talk to people about I keep chickens and I do this and I do that
and they looked at you like God that sounds like a lot of work right now I guarantee you say the
same things that you do on a day-to-day basis on a regular basis to support your lifestyle of
self-reliance and independence and the vast majority of people will look at you and think and say
the same thing and that is, God, I want that.
They see the world for what it is now.
The doom news has been taken over by the actual news.
The media.
The media has the prepper news now that we've come accustomed to spilling and reading over all the
years.
It's not to say that we're not going to do it, but it's to say that I personally as a host
would be remiss to not tell you about how I take.
from my pantry, a bag of green bunker beans.
And I take those bunker beans and I lay them out in a sheet pan.
Actually, you know what?
I don't even use a sheet pan anymore.
I have an even better device.
It's like a large air frying basket for an air fryer in your oven.
Okay?
It looks like a cookie sheet or a roasting pan, but it's a fine grate.
It's a design for air frying.
I take that basket and I put a nice thin layer of green bunker beans in it
and I set the oven to 450 degrees.
and I roast those beans until they're nearly black
for this for this sort of medium dark roast
breakfast blend coffee that essentially is me creating supply drop
disaster coffee supply drop at home
and I roast these coffee beans in the oven
and it takes I don't know like an hour or something like that
pull them out look at them move them around a little
watch them get darker and darker and darker until they get right where I want them.
And then I pull them out and I let them cool.
And the next morning they go into a plastic container with a lid.
And some of them go into my little hand grinder.
And today I hand ground some of those beans, right?
They smelled so good too.
I hadn't messed with them in a month almost because I was drinking this good German coffee for the holidays.
And I opened up that container, and there are those roasted beans, still smell great, still look great.
And I ground them up in my hand grinder.
I brewed some disaster coffee this morning.
And when you drink a cup of coffee that you've taken from green coffee beans and turned into coffee,
into a cup of steaming coffee on a Monday morning in January when it's 30 degrees out,
you grab hold of what it is that I'm talking about with self-reliance and quality of life.
It's similar to cracking the eggs from the chicken coop and making breakfast for your family, right?
These are those experiences.
Pooling it, having that first salad in late spring, early summer that's come out of your own garden.
You guys know the feeling.
You live the feeling.
And I'm pretty good at conveying those.
feelings. I think it's my culinary background that helps that. But, you know, this is something
that we miss, I think, on PBN, and I really want to focus on it this year. I want to spend a little
less of my own time talking about the bad people and the psychopaths in Congress and the monsters
who run nations and a little more time talking about, you know, that smoky, deep, incredible
aroma that comes from a fresh-brewed cup of coffee that you roasted your
yourself and the satisfaction and fulfillment that so many people are looking for in this day and age of
comfort and convenience. It's a feeling and it's something that we enjoy more than the average
person, whether we appreciate it and are grateful for it enough or not. You pull something
glowing off of the forge and you see that you've shaped something amazing or something useful
and you quench that hot metal and you realize that you've made something with your bare hands in a way
that so many people wish they could do
and then you hang it or you give it
or you gift it or you use it
and you realize that you're tapping into something
that everybody wants and everybody needs
and we are a vehicle to meet that need at PBN.
So in 2026 we will be the Prepper Broadcasting Network.
We will be the same old Prepper Broadcasting Network.
network. We will, but, but there will be changes and changes for the better. Okay.
My one and only concern in a podcast like this is the fact that we now have advertisements
running on our shows. And you might look at that and say, this is bullshit. And if you, if, and like,
I said, members just bear with me, okay? As soon as I get information back from Speaker,
we'll get that stuff taken, or give you the ability to get into the back end.
Since you're already paying, get your payment swapped over and all that.
It'll be a none issue.
Just bear with me.
And if it's really eating you alive, just email me, message me.
If it's really eating you alive to listen to the two or three ads in the show.
And I'll just send you the file.
I'll give the members access to all the shows ad free right now.
But if it's really eating you up, guys, you know, you have to understand this is free content.
It is what it is.
We don't want to lose any listeners, of course.
But at the same time, for five bucks, you get rid of all the ads.
You follow me?
For five bucks a month, you get rid of all the ads.
No more ads.
Ads go away.
You have to understand that the ads, they generate revenue.
And it's a thing.
It's a necessity in the podcasting world.
Just is what it is.
So out of all these changes, I don't think any of them are for the worst.
I do think that they're going to make the podcast network on a whole
much better and give us the ability to do much cooler things
and I'm super excited about bringing back shows like the strange truth
in the next generation and having the mayor consistently on the network
I'm kind of disappointed in myself that I haven't done it until now
but it just occurred to me the other day that you know
you wake up you are the intrepid commander you could do what you want
in terms of bringing archival shows back for the dead
and if you've never heard them you're really in for it
you're really going to love them and we're going to keep doing it
want to keep bringing shows back and like I said
I'd also like to do compilations of show topics
I'd also like to do you know medical day
and do just a big big regurgitation of the herbal medic
and the herbal prepper and doom and bloom new
and uh what was what was the
dr bones and nurse Amy podcast we got tons
of those in the archives.
We've got great content on all kinds of topics, folks.
Expect more of that in 2026.
And like I said, thank you for all your support in these changes.
Change, I know people hate it.
I know people hate change, but it is what it is.
And onward and upward for the Prepper Broadcasting Network,
and we hope to bring you, you know, the best of the best.
The best of the best in terms of prepping survival,
homesteading, off-grid living, and self-reliance in independence.
I'll talk to you soon, PBM Family.
