Always getting closer, watching till it's over.
It's ridiculous.
Well, good morning, PBN.
Welcome to this Saturday morning show, Phoenix Survival. I am your host, Phoenix,
also known as JFerg. So, how are you holding up? Right now, we know the world has gone
chaotic and crazy, and even though it is a bit rainy here on the East Coast and much
cooler than what it should be for this time of the year. It is actually very nice.
So, how are you holding up?
And I mean that genuinely.
How are you doing?
Because we already know the amount of chaos and craziness that is going on around us is astounding.
What are we dealing with?
People eating our pets. Yes, the fact that that was laughed off yet. Anyone who opens Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, anything,
you are seeing videos of pets and animals being snatched up and butchered. I watched a video of a woman taking a seagull out of the hand of, I want to
say he was Spanish of some sort, and letting it loose, and people don't
realize with this chaos and with this craziness, we are going to be seeing more illnesses.
We are going to see things that we didn't have to worry about
because when you bring people from foreign countries who live in such chaos
and then you bring them here for them to live a normal air quotes life in the U.S.
people don't realize it changes all right so prime example we have dealt with it firsthand
with refugees being brought in my landlords in the past had had tenants who were from a foreign
country who never threw out their trash and then and never
cleaned the walls when they cooked that they had to completely replace the kitchen because he said
the amount of grease from the style of food they were cooking was just coated the walls in the
kitchen and the black splash and eat through the stove top and then on top of that all of their trash was in the backyard so
all of the seafood that was cooked constantly the insects we we deal with that right in other
countries they don't live like us we are a first world country not saying we're better we just
manage things okay which we are better whatever We just manage things, okay? Which, we are better. Whatever.
When that happened and they finally moved out, it is running into, I now have refugees living in a house next to us.
We were not thrilled on it.
I've said it before on other shows.
Not trying to hate on these people but when their children are defecating and urinating openly down a street in the middle of the street that is an issue on top of that the concern for those
little girls safety the concern that their son still will randomly whip it out and pee in the
middle of someone's yard um will pick up plants and just stick them in their mouth,
not realizing, hey, you are by a bunch of creeping Virginia, which can cause an irritant. There's
poison ivy and poison oak all over the area that we're in. A lot of plants that they should not be
even attempting to eat. And what you are, what we are witnessing is this huge influx, right?
This is causing chaos.
This is causing issues.
We have seen where it's not making huge headlines that a family of four were brutally murdered
in their home in New York.
Two toddlers, a mother and a father by a Dominican Republican immigrant who was already a criminal from the DR, was
already a murderer.
He murdered this entire family and set it on fire.
Not saying why he did it, but he did.
We are seeing a lot more brutality, what they're not talking about.
And I have a friend who, um, and even seen where people have
talked to or from Hades who have lived in Haiti and will tell you there is a lot of cannibalism,
a lot of animalistic brutality in the sense of how they kill and eat the animals and to other
people. So Ohio does have a reason to be concerned. That I even met a woman, one of the, let's just say she helps with rehoming housing refugees.
And we were speaking and they have ran into where other cultures have been brought in,
stuck in like the condos to find those families not using the cook range in the house but
starting an open fire in the middle of the parking lot and washing themselves in the middle of the
parking lot so what we are going to see and it says not to make people worry or fear more but
be vigilant because we are going to see an influx of illness we are going to see an influx of illness. We are going to see an influx of probably people end up with dysentery because of poor hygiene.
We are going to see a huge influx of health and medical issues that our health care system is not going to be ready for.
Yes, first world health care system.
But you saw how that panned out when COVID hit.
You saw how that panned out when those blue screen of death hit. It does make things difficult. And
even Ohio right now with all of those refugees or immigrants that are in, in their healthcare system
cannot support what they are dealing with. They cannot. And unfortunately,
to the medical staff out there, God bless you, and I know you're not getting paid enough to
deal with this. I know you're not. I work in the healthcare system, and I can tell you I'm not
making enough. Hold on. My parents had a small apartment complex when I was a kid. For a while,
the tenants were from out of the country.
They wouldn't use the toilet, but buckets in the corner.
Yep, see that lady was using a bucket that started the fire
and were washing themselves in the parking lot.
Kitchens were also disgusting.
I used to help clean when they were evicted.
Yes, garden girl.
And this sounds horrible, and I have some amazing landlords they're they're
great people um they just want people to be able to live their life and be live comfortably but he
even said he cannot rent out to foreigners in the sense of any immigrants or um refugees because of how bad the renovation was and the insect infestation was so bad
that they actually had to move out the next door. These are duplexes, had to move out the neighbors
because the roach infestation was so bad. So bad. And that's what you're dealing with. Also,
this was about 30 years ago in Cali. Garden Girl, the sad thing is, is that was 30 years ago in Cali.
And we're still seeing it today.
Mind you, this family that I'm talking about that was moved out wasn't even a year and a half ago.
I mean, and now we've got, and here's the thing.
The reason a lot of these people are allowing refugees into their homes like
the house next to us that has refugees on both sides is because that landlord is separate home
owner from all of the other duplexes here um is making a hell of a kickback from it
and it's it's ridiculous but the main thing I want people to ask yourselves are, how are you holding up?
Are you ready?
And I always hashtag that when I put this up, but really, are you ready?
And if your answer is no, then what is it I can do to get myself ready?
If that means finding a way to stock and back up on your medical supplies,
then by all means, I advise you 110% to do that. Antibiotics, medications, alcohol, peroxide,
be ready. Plenty of distilled white vinegar, which we're finally getting down on ours because I use
that for cleaning, kills bacteria just about instantly. It's amazing. Vinegar is great. And people use that for years
before bleach and everything else and it works. Think about the fact though that when you go
somewhere, I keep hand sanitizer or alcohol, pure alcohol in a little spritz bottle. Anytime I go anywhere in public now,
because you're running into cases where a lot of these foreigners,
and I'm not trying to speak ill in that sense,
they don't wash their hands.
A lot of these countries, they don't,
they aren't taught hygiene on the same level that we are.
And my parents wanted to give people a start, but it was the same level that we are and my parents wanted to give people a start but it
was the same couldn't rent to foreigners anymore absolutely and it's it's one of those things where
Americans and America we need to take back America again because we are already seeing ourselves
crumble and turn into France and we know how that's going over there right now.
How long is it before it's not just the rapes and the murders and the attacks and people's pets
being butchered on their yard? How long is it before we start seeing acid thrown in people's
faces for walking down the street in their clothing? in America we aren't enforcing women to
wear hijabs or have submissive roles like in India. It's, it is terrifying to think,
but it should be a wake up for everybody. I mean, wake up, stay strapped. You really need to. I
left the house today and realized I hadn't put my pistol back in
my car from getting it back at the from the shop and I felt absolutely vulnerable make sure you
have one near you at all times I keep one right next to my desk when I'm working because god
forbid um we've had transients come through act act like they're going to grab on people's doors.
And we live in what I would deem as a relatively nice area.
But it's going downhill.
And we are seeing people come into our door, in the past asking for handouts, asking for things.
And you want to be nice.
And you want to.
I'm going to tell you right now, don't do it.
Don't do it.
Because the second you're nice to someone, they're going to think, oh, well, they'll give me more.
They'll give me more.
And they'll take advantage of your kindness.
Because I can tell you right now, in a lot of these foreigners' eyes, money is a disposable thing for Americans.
That we are all made of money and we're not struggling. You know, when I had someone come over while I'm very pregnant asking for money,
that's an issue. Don't let yourselves be vulnerable. It has hit to a point that I,
the neighbors may say hi occasionally. They may wave occasionally, they no longer try
to come over and talk to us, and I have pulled some tactics in which to ensure that, um,
my neighbors only speak Arabic, so every time they'd come over, I'd have to pull out a translator
app, well, got tired of being asked for things all the time, got tired of my neighbors being
asked for things all the time, that tired of my neighbors being asked for things all the time,
that we were instructed by some official individuals over the refugees
to start calling the cops, that there was nothing else they could do.
They've done re-education. They've done classes.
They've tried to get them treatment, their refusion treatment,
to the point that we should call the cops.
The cops have been called a number of times.
The cops have showed up a number of times to their house.
Even one of their kids has bitten an officer's child.
So it is one of those things where you stay ready.
Not saying my way of running my neighbors off was the most tactful,
but I now don't have to worry about them randomly
showing up. Or my favorite is when the whole group of kids came over and asked if they could
play with my baby. Like he was a toy when he was like four, four to six months old.
Huh. Tiny baby. And asked, can I play with your baby? A whole group of them.
No, he's not a toy.
He's an infant.
So, it's frustrating because I see what's going to happen.
I see the struggle that we are going to run into. I see how unfair things have been set for these refugees and immigrants.
And yes, I understand they're leaving this bad country.
But when our primary number of immigrants and foreigners are able-bodied men who all have convictions or history, should not be allowed they shouldn't
I don't think such a large number of people should be allowed into the country without
understanding cultural norms and and um differences I had someone try to explain to me that oh
in Palestine they go to their neighbors and their neighbors help them with
everything. This is not Palestine. This is America. This is South Carolina. Do not come to my door at
every hour. I have to work. I have a family. I have my own financial needs. These are where we're
bumping into things. And we're going to see more and more and more with I mean I saw a video the other day of a woman crouched down eating a cat a
dead cat she murdered ate it cops caught her this is this is what we're doing
with we're gonna see a lot more illnesses a lot more things that humans should not be catching.
I mean, seagulls are probably one of the dirtiest animals who you cannot eat.
I don't know.
Is there any creature out there that actually eats a seagull?
Maybe a shark.
A shark.
Maybe a shark.
Yeah.
Fish probably eat them.
Right.
Because fish have no taste buds.
Right.
Right.
But it's just
devastating to think that this is what
we have to get ready for.
Get ready for illness, get ready to be able
to cleanse, look
into surveillance
and for your
property, for your animals,
for your family, because
nobody else is looking out for you other
than you. We have installed
a camera facing our chickens. We have a front door camera. We have a side house camera. We
have cameras in the house because you know what? You just can't ever know what's going to happen.
Garbage disposal. Yes. Yes. Perfect. Garden Girl said the right thing. Seagulls are the garbage disposals of the air.
Absolutely.
They eat some of the worst trash and are some of the worst animals.
Hold on.
You know what?
Let me see.
I'm going to Google this real quick.
How, what do seagulls carry?
Let's see.
Feathered health hazards is what it says on here.
They're under pest management.
Okay, this is interesting.
Let's see.
Okay, this is interesting.
Let's see. Let's see.
Yet nearly 90% of all seagull feces contains introcaucus,
which causes antibiotic-resistant infections.
Yeah, they are nasty.
Seagull droppings have been known to contaminate food and water
when a diseased bird defecates into human food or water source.
In 1993, several hundred of people in New York contracted a mysterious illness
that was traced to seagulls droppings in one of the reservoirs.
Besides direct contamination, airborne spores from drying feces in the air ducts
and vents can settle on exposed
food and transfer disease.
Several thousand cases of food
poisoning in salmonella every year
are attributed to this form of disease
transmission. So don't eat the seagulls.
Yeah, don't eat the seagulls.
I mean, it should be a given,
but people from all these
foreign countries see it as open food sources.
That's like seeing that video of those ducks and geese getting snatched up.
Or I saw a video this morning, early this morning, I did go on for a second,
in Canada where all these Middle Eastern families, I don't want to say Muslim,
but, you know, the women were wearing hijabs.
but, you know, the women were wearing hijabs.
They were netting for fish in this river,
which it is illegal in that area to net,
and there's these giant fish,
and this man's standing out there chasing them,
and they're netting them and throwing them in bags,
and they are being accosted by this Canadian native.
You can't do this. This is illegal.
I'm going to call the cops.
And they all, once they realize he has a camera, all just turn their back to him and pretend like they can't do this, this is illegal, I'm going to call the cops. And they all, once they realize he has a camera,
all just turn their back to him and pretend like they can't hear him while the grandfather of the family is still bagging this giant fish.
And they're just standing there acting like they don't.
And then they get really still, like, if I don't move, you don't see me.
Where are the game wardens at?
Right, right.
I don't know how Canadian law is
I've read a few comments that the Canadian cops
aren't handling it the way they should be
but it is
I can't get a gator tag
they shouldn't be able to fish over there
exactly you can get a gator tag
you just have to apply for it
there's like a five year waiting list or something
for here?
I'm pretty sure for gator tag
oh in Mississippi you just put in a tag
I think it's like six months you wait, maybe at the most.
Wow, see?
But that's the thing.
These people are coming into our country with this high expectation
that the roads are paved with gold, that everything is in bounty.
Our road isn't even paved.
No, our road is not paved.
It's not paved in anything.
No.
So this is what we are dealing with.
I mean, in Myrtle Beach, of all places, y'all, we are running into chaos.
You know, it's a wonder we don't, oh, he left, live near a body of water that has gators in it.
Because truthfully, I have actually had to yell at these
children they've managed to destroy the screens and the windows but I had two of them nearly
climbed out on their steep little um and the second level it hits a rooftop and that's that
roof part is a little steep and they went to climb out onto it and I had to yell at them that they had to know because these
these were small kids and when I say small like five six seven ish all in that range and it's like
these are children that if they fall off that roof even though it's not a far fall
you could still break their neck um another thing is, fortunately, we haven't seen cat eating here yet.
There is an illness that a lot of cats have here that is super contagious,
and they are super sick, and even the people who feed and tend to these cats
will tell you,
do not touch them.
Let's see.
So FIV, which is feline HIV, is a super contagious illness that a lot of the cats have here.
is a super contagious illness that a lot of the cats have here, like, and they are, they are sick,
and these cats can live for months and years with FIV. Hold on, let's see.
Okay, here we go. It says, although FIV is similar to the human HIV and causes a feline disease similar to the acquired immune deficiency syndrome in humans, which is AIDS,
it is only a highly species-specific virus that infects only felines.
But it also states there are currently no evidence that FIV can infect or cause disease in humans currently. We see enough things going on that we are going to see people getting sick.
Okay, you should, just because they say it can't happen doesn't mean it won't happen. So folks, be aware. When you go somewhere, stay vigilant. Pay attention.
Take a little more time into your hygiene because, I mean, honestly, it's going to hit a point where
you're going to have to sit and ask yourself, how am I holding up? How are you holding up?
How are you holding up?
It is terrifying.
But it is something that needs to be handled.
It is something that we need to be aware of.
Because it's just going to continue.
I'm going to see.
Hold on. I'm seeing if there's.
Garden Girl. Or anyone who is listening, who's in the chat,
is there anything that you feel like you see coming that people aren't realizing?
Not only are we gonna see the crime rates go up,
we are gonna see...
There has been such a division in our country that there is no,
almost no patriotism anymore
and it's just heartbreaking because 9-11 brought us together and now we're having a division over
bringing foreigners into the country I'm not saying that these people don't have or you know
can't come here but what I'm saying is go about it the right way the legal way because the people
who are trying and the people who are putting in the effort understand what it takes to be American. American now to all these free handouts of,
what was that, 18,000 in food stamps for a household? Are you fucking kidding me?
Are you fucking kidding me? And you know what the sad thing is, is the people who need the assistance aren't just the people in that low poverty level.
But, you know, people like you, me, a lot of us are just getting by and micromanaging every penny, nickel, and dime.
For what?
To realize, oh, we can't afford that.
Or, oh, well, you know, they've got that easily.
Or Medicaid.
You know how expensive insurance is?
And, I mean, I'm sure you do.
What's worse is our Medicare patients, how much they pay.
And then when they fall into the donut hole or the gap, how much they end up paying for their health care so you worked
all your life for that it's it's just mind-boggling that this family next door gets a brand new 2024
um third row seat suv the man can't safely, but they're giving them driver's license.
He zips up and down our unpaved road so fast, it's a wonder he hasn't hit someone's kid,
let alone one of his own or the neighbor's kids, because they're always in the middle of the street.
They have food and clothing and groceries and money,
and then they still ask for handouts because they're
spending their money wrong or it's not up to their standards. And it is absurd because we are
scraping by, we are nickel and diamond, and we're doing what we can for our family to keep ourselves
well and to keep ourselves fed. And that was another thing that I heard a
complaint about with the neighbors is it doesn't matter the temperature of the house year round,
they still keep their windows wide open. So their electric bill is off the charts because they run
their unit the entire time with every single window open, whether it be raining, hot, cold,
time with every single window open, whether it be raining, hot, cold, it doesn't matter.
And so it is just one of those things that I'm just boggled at this. I'm curious at how long before my chickens disappear since they now know I have chickens hidden in the back.
And I'm not saying all people are bad like that.
I mean, we've already had someone take one.
I don't think it was them, but I don't know.
You know, it's one of those things where
you, you,
you can't have what you have.
Someone else wants it, so you have to give it to them, right?
Fuck no.
No. What's yours is yours yours you worked hard for that and the problem is is you're gonna work have to work twice
as hard to keep that and that is the god's honest truth i and my my partner we work hard to give our son roof, a bed, food in his belly, food in our
bellies, clothing on our back. To have a little bit extra for me is the
chickens. To have a little bit of extra for me is the tiny little garden that
might produce a few things that I get to enjoy making a
jar of refrigerator pickles every so often. But just because you worked hard to get yourself those,
just because those are your luxuries, does not mean that you're not going to have to go the
extra mile to protect and defend to keep what you have because we are now witnessing that it
doesn't matter what you have that if someone else wants it they can just come and take it
and you can't say a damn thing about it well guess what i'm saying something
you have every right to defend what's yours you have every right to stand up for yourself and be damned what anyone
else has to say. We are preppers for a reason because we know life gets hard. We are preppers
for a reason because we know harder times are coming and they're only going to get harder. And we are witnessing it right now.
We are prepping to make sure that we can take care of our families. Because as we are seeing, unless you are one of those people who were allowed into our country illegally, who's getting all sort of coverage, you're not going to get help.
And I apologize folks I wasn't trying to get this dark or this ugly this early but it is a real thing and it
was eaten at my mind all last night and then since I've been up all morning I've had time to stew on
it and it is one of those things where you have to make sure you do what you need to for your family. So that's like my chickens. I have to
re-enforce how it is. Make sure I keep locks on them because I kept locks on the smaller
coop when I had it to keep the neighborhood kids out of it. You have to be vigilant. You have to be aware. Take the extra time to be a little more clean on things.
But when it comes down to it,
and all of that chaos around us,
and what feels like the cities are on fire,
verbally, not saying actually on fire.
Sit down and take a breath.
And realize that we are prepping.
To give ourselves that little bit of peace of mind.
That when tomorrow comes.
I've done something good for my family.
I'm not expecting praise.
I'm not expecting a parade, recognition.
I am content with seeing my son put food in his mouth.
put food in his mouth I'm content
with seeing
both my partner and my children
with happy and full bellies
and that gives me
a peace of mind
knowing that
everything I'm doing
no matter how chaotic it may seem
in my tiny little world
it's given more calm
than the chaos that is outside of my personal bubble.
You are doing the right thing by working out and getting yourself in top shape. You're doing the
right thing by putting that little bit of extra food away every paycheck or every week or however
you set it up. You are doing right by your family by learning a new skill set of soap making or cheese making
or you are doing more for your family by learning how to preserve and put away food for those
rainy days when you know something's going to happen and your car is in the shop for
two weeks and you got injured or your check is going to be late
and you don't know how the ends are going to meet,
guess what?
You took that extra time and that extra investment in your family
that you don't have to worry about supper that night.
Or you have a little bit of money put up that you don't have to worry now
where those extra repair costs are going to come from.
Prepping is not just a hobby.
It is a lifestyle.
And it is a peace of mind.
Prepping has gotten me through some of the toughest times in my life.
And prepping is going to get me through some of the toughest times that are waiting it is
I hate that now sorry I was looking at here um it is pertinent that if you are not prepping
which I don't believe anyone who's listened isn't. Somebody's doing something on some form.
If you wait till tomorrow, you've waited too long. Hi, I'm on a rant today.
Very harsh rant. But I think, I think everyone needs a little kick in the ass sometimes because yes, I've tried to avoid listening to the politics and this and that.
And I don't give a damn which celebrity is supporting who.
I really don't care.
I don't think celebrities should be allowed to broadcast on that.
You know, it's one of those things where an individual vote was just that, an individual vote.
Now everybody's got an opinion.
And, yes, I share mine on my platform. I get that. But the thing is,
we have to start looking inward. I avoid, I will briefly see certain things like the debate that happened between Trump and Kamala.
That was a shit show, not on Trump's side, but, you know, when you have a Kamala supporter being the one who's negating the whole thing, it's ridiculous.
And the amount of fact checks, air quote, you know, that were not done on her side, but only on his. It
just goes to show the world is corrupt. We are only under that, under that guise, under
her guise. She's been in office this entire time and has done nothing to fix this, if
anything, has promoted it. And they're pushing more LGBTQ. They are pushing more things that cause a threat to our lifestyle and our way of living.
So we prep.
I prepare for those rainy days.
I prepare for those hard times.
I prepare for the fact that the world is chaotic enough. I cannot trust that they will ever have mine or my others or my family or my friends mind and thought.
So we prep.
That nub, I know you prep.
And you do everything you can to support your family,
and you bust your ass just like the rest of us.
Same with Garden Girl, same with James, same with Chin, same with anybody who listens to this show,
or even pops on for my morning Saturday rant.
You have to keep prepping.
Really is, you have to keep prepping. It really is, you have to.
Our world does not stop.
Even if the entire world stops.
Ooh, I really went out there.
I am so sorry, y'all.
Let me go to a commercial break. Let me see if I can get my whole
intense mood in check. And then we'll see what we can do to finish up the last half hour
with maybe something happy. That and tell me something good so I can announce it on air when
I come back. So give me one moment. I will be right back.
On the brink of blackouts again, as power demand reached an all-time record high overnight,
slivers of the Golden State plunged into darkness.
Com says it expects to continue with Stage 6 running blackouts for the rest of the week. A scheduled outage on Thursday, but the one that happened Sunday, it wasn't scheduled.
It was unexpected, and it lasted longer than a day.
Point Zero Energy has given me the American-tested, American-assembled,

So I am back.
If you have made it through my first half hour of ranting and intense moment, then thank you.
So last half hour.
Yes, that was deep.
That was dark. But it is true.
You should be doing things you
should be paying attention we are going to see a lot of sickness a lot of illness a lot of things
we didn't think we'd grow up seeing or our children would grow up seeing unfortunately
that is the new way something good prepper camp is in just a couple weekends. For those of you who aren't going, definitely look into it for next year.

will be individuals who list tickets that they have that they cannot use. One person says I have a ticket to sell.
Another one says I have two adults and one child ticket. You send them a PM. You can buy their
tickets off them usually for at the cost you know at the cost of that they purchased it at.
So look into it if that's that last minute. Now's the thing sites book out immediately sites are usually
reserved the year before there is always tent city good luck finding an airbnb outside but
look into it prepper camp is probably one of my happiest times with people who are family rick and
jane um my dear friends and family who are all from there. I don't know if they want name drops so I'm not
going to do that but these are some amazing amazing people who I see as family and so it's
like getting to go to a family reunion where I know my son myself and my partner we are going to
be in the safest place in the world. Aww, Garden Girl posted some
some happiness. Our oldest baby is loving football and he's gotten some great
tackles. That is phenomenal. My son is running now. Not just walking,
running. And it is interesting to hit a point where my son's gotten accustomed
to me changing him standing up. It's just how it's been for all my other ones.
To the point that if I'm not quick enough, you will see a naked butt taken out across the room.
I mean, the kid's fast.
On top of Prepper Camp, the following weekend, there is another camp going on in Camden, Tennessee.
I will be there.
Let me pull up my let me find my text
let's see because I ended up emailing the. I won't get to teach at camp this year. But I will be showing the demo from my booth.
booth and then another a big one outside of prepper camp for me is going to be the one in may in ohio it's going to be in the heart of amish country it is heartland self-reliance
look it up it is on facebook heartland self-reliance it's going to be
right there behind prepper camp i will be up there in May teaching they are
May 2nd through 4th it is a weekend event um it's it's gonna be great y'all it really is but
getting to see these people oh is oh EJ Snyder gonna be there
well that's awesome I've spoken with EJ before um EJ isder going to be there? Oh, that's awesome.
I've spoken with EJ before.
EJ is actually a really cool guy.
I know Dave Canterbury lives up in that area.
I've actually interacted with him a few times at other shows.
I even had him as one of my guests early on in the days.
So it's just a go.
There are events out there.
I've actually seen where already too fast.
Yes, I have already seen where look in your region.
I know I understand not everybody can travel.
Not everyone has the time that they can take to go as far.
And that's understandable.
Here on the East Coast, there are a few things that I would like to attend that I just am not going to have the time or the finances for.
And that's okay.
But there's always a great show in Alabama.
Old School Skills or something like that.
I'll have to find that.
There is in the Pacific Northwest.
I know there's quite a few things that are done out there.
Texas. Just look into your area. few things that are done out there. Texas, Cali. Just look into
your area. There are plenty of things around you. And if there's not, start something. Get a group
together to practice on survival skills, bushcraft, and what have you. But look into it. Push yourself
to spread the word. Because anytime I go anywhere and people start asking, I push the fact that I podcast.
I push the fact that I am a prepper.
I am not shy about it.
Do I tell them what I have?
Absolutely not.
There is a sense of a little level of privacy and security you have to give yourself.
But I do not hide my face.
I do not hide my name.
I do not hide who I am or where I'm at. Because there is no shame in but I do not hide my face I do not hide my name I do not hide who I am or
where I'm at because there is no shame in what I do I don't feel like I have to be secretive and
if you don't like me well tough shit you'll get over it all right so here's a good one that nub
for those of you in the American readout I will have a booth at the Panhandled Preparedness Expo
2024 Sandpoint is that Idaho October 5th and 6th 2024. Come up and say,
come up. Oh, come and say what up. Gotcha. But see, there are things in all sorts of areas.
And if you don't know where to look, you know what, that might be something I asked James, to start a chat room
in Element for Prepper events. So we can list where those events are. For those of you who are
part of this network, hey, there's going to be an event such and such weekend of this. Or we're
having a Canon event this weekend at this place. Or what have you. James, I don't know if you're listening,
but we need a room for prepper events. You know what? I am going to message him right now.
if we don't have one in there um i'm going to be honest with you oh there is one perfect perfect prepper related event perfect all right i'm going to unsend that
and say JK.
Oh, yep, I see it.
Prepper-related events.
That nub, make sure to post that in there.
If you are not in that room, reach out to myself or James or I believe Chin, and we can get you added in there.
Start posting these events.
Start putting links in there.
Start sharing what it is.
Oh, you showed the kids the P, was it P28s and P36s? I keep both of those if you're talking,
and that's actually what we use in the kitchen right now. Sorry, I went to open chat real quick.
See? So, you are phenomenal. On the point, man. On the point. That nub, you are the best.
Smart man. This man knows what he's doing. That nub, I don't know how you don't have a channel
with us yet and why you're not podcasting. I think he's been trying to hit you up for a few years now.
up for a few years now. So I've been up since 3 40 a.m. I'm gonna probably have to take a nap at some point, but I have so many things to do. And for those of you who follow me on Instagram,
I have been posting some of the stuff I work on. I don't post everything outright, um,
only because it's, I don't know, I guess I should,
I should just start posting like crazy. But if you don't have me on Instagram and you would like to
follow me on there, it is phoenix underscore survival. Again, phoenix underscore survival.
I have my emblem on there, um, as well as on my post. Where is, when is this stuff? Okay. Um, you can see some of the
projects I work on. I don't usually show everything right away, especially if it's something new I'm
working on because then if it doesn't turn out well, but I will post the jackets, um, that I've
made out of quilts. I will be bringing some of those to sell at Prepper Camp. I have my drop
pouches, dump pouches, JP. If you're listening, I have not forgotten you. I have one of my extra large bags,
like you asked, set to the side. Um, I just want to make sure I knocked out all my other stuff
first, which I know you said you weren't in a hurry about, but I hadn't forgotten you, man.
Uh, so, and then as well as I am working on an extra crocheted beanie a day.
Right now, the adult ones I have posted are all wool.
I have several children ones in acrylic.
Wool and acrylic are going to be varied in price because of the material.
And, um, I will have some adult acrylic too because at what point do you say I know so much about everything I should
take calls wait what do you mean are you saying that I need to put on here for calls or are you
being funny at one point do you say I know so much about everything I should take well you know what
why not why not if you're talking about yourself yes not? I don't think I know too much. There's a lot I still don't know and I'm still
learning and I enjoy that so much. Uh, people ask for advice. I will give it and tell them this is
my opinion. This is my point of view. If I don't know it, well, let's see what we can do to find
out. No, why? Oh, no, why I don't have a show.
You should. Why don't you come on with me one morning? How's that, that nub? We will do a show one morning. You tell me a Saturday morning you're available and we'll get you on with me.
Any of the listeners who want to hop on, we will have a show. Reach out to me, especially for any of my Saturday morning individuals.
Or if you're not feeling a Saturday morning, we can always try to pre-record and then post it
on the morning of. But yeah, that and I want you to come on.
I watch your YouTube videos. You know more than you're letting on.
Hey Casey.
Good morning. He's typing. Okay, see if I need to push the show back
a few minutes then or an hour back that's perfectly fine too. I'm okay with
that if you are.
Some mornings, my show doesn't go until 10 o'clock or 11.
And y'all have seen that.
Some mornings, I'm extra early at 8 o'clock.
It's just the way of the world.
Some mornings, I've got things together.
Like this morning, I've been up stupid early, took my friend to work,
made my household breakfast,
and had plenty of time to come sit down and speak with y'all.
You're as much as my Saturday morning routine as anybody else.
So it actually feels weird on the days I'm not doing my show.
Think about it that way.
I'll shoot you a message. I'm going to hound you on it. You can ask James. I'm persistent
as hell.
But, I think I've
gone on enough ranting at the beginning
to some good news that
you know, there are plenty of
events. There are plenty of programs.
There are plenty of classes. Pl plenty of YouTube, but educate yourself.
Take the time, learn a new skill, or hone a skill that you have.
I am by no means a professional sewist, but I enjoy sewing.
I'm by no means a professional crocheter, but I've enjoyed crocheting I've done both of these skill sets since a child
and I'm learning new skill sets every day and proven skill sets it's just the way it is
and the same with canon I have actually recently come across what they call rebel canon which I
agree with the lady I was watching it should be called Heritage Cannon because for the longest time,
waterbathing was the way to store food outside of pressure canning.
Now, I am learning as much as I can on it before I even attempt it
because there was years and centuries that people did Heritage Cannon
or waterbathing without any issues of botulism
or their vegetables having it you know without
worrying about their stuff turning rancid and a lot of foreign countries don't have jars that
they put them in it's done differently so knowing those skill sets and knowing how to do it
I think isn't is important knowing when to. By no means am I a professional gardener.
Every year is different. One year I could have a crop of the lifetime and I'm canning non-stop.
And just like this last year, I'm lucky I got a handful of jalapenos, a couple tomatoes,
maybe three bell peppers, and plenty of cucumber. And that, well, not plenty, but enough
that I could make my cucumber salads. That was it. I think I maybe got a squash that was feasible
from this. It just happens. It's, it's one of those things where we don't stop prepping is a continual set of skills.
Well, you're continuing any of your skills.
You're learning new skills.
You're always doing something to improve yours or your family's means.
They do still do it in most countries.
Water bathing and usually in jar.
Right, exactly.
So I am actually looking into that because I have a pressure canner.
But I'm not going to lie.
I've done pressure canning and that canner scares the crap out of me.
Like anyone who understands pressure canning and the jiggly weight, I'm sorry, but it is terrifying.
Because I have heard horror stories of those things blowing up.
And water bathing has been around for ages.
And it works.
Just because the U.S. has changed their standards on things doesn't mean it doesn't work.
I think what it is is people have gotten lazy.
People have gotten sloppy.
But that's just it.
People in the canning world who have been doing it and learned it from their grandmother and their mother or relatives or their older kin are doing it at the same level of sanitation and being diligent than those who are just learning, ah, this ain't anything to worry about.
Oh, you went to a digital canner?
I don't think I can.
I have my trusty old water bather.
I have my water bath canner, and I have my old jiggly weight pressure canner.
But I do want to look into some Heritage Cannon, or Rebel Cannon,
whichever you'd like to call it, for other means.
So I commend you, though. Digital canner, so camera so high tech so too fancy for me man I'm proud of you I'm jealous I mean actually I'm jealous of your freeze dryer but that's like
I am teaching I'm going to be teaching my neighbor how to make jerky and I mentioned that last time
we just after camp it would have to be after camp.
We just don't have enough time to do it before like she originally wanted to.
But no, folks, keep in mind, I have actually, with Prepper Camp coming up,
and with a little, we have had to reassess how we map our meals,
which means I am pre-making spaghetti for my son or bring in plenty of
potatoes and I'm actually vacuum sealing the servings of bacon that I'll cook each morning
so then I don't have to worry about messing with the same pack that it's just trying to make my
life easier even if it means it's more work now, I'll appreciate it
later. I still have my regular pressure canner too, but with the other, I don't have to sit and
watch it. Oh, fair enough. Fair enough. You know what, Garden Girl? Can you send a link to which
digital canner you have? I would definitely be interested in seeing that. It seems very high tech, but if it means it's something I don't have to worry about standing there
and then wasting time on, I'm all for it.
Because God knows if you're anything like me, which I'm pretty sure,
you've got 101 things going on in a household on top of your children.
But alright folks, I'm coming up on my my hour I do appreciate you every Saturday morning
next Saturday will be the final Saturday before prepper camp I will not have a live show that
Saturday morning of prepper camp weekend which is the 27th I believe so just an FYI, I will be out that weekend, but the weekend after I will be out as well since
I will be in another state. Most likely unless I get my new little mic hooked up on my phone,
I might be able to do a brief good morning pop in and, and then the weekend after that we will,
we will be running full again.
But all right, folks.
I hope you have a great day, even if it is rainy and dreary where you're at.
I hope your day goes well.
Plan ahead.
Make sure you're holding in there and be ready.
All right, folks.
Take care.
Have a great, great weekend.
And I will see you next Saturday morning.
And it's left, left, left, right, left.
So put your hands up, put your hands up.
If crawling for the scraps won't ever be enough.
Put your hands up, put your hands up.
The lines on the wall, this ain't ever gonna stop.
Put your hands up, put your hands up. If crawling for the scraps won't ever be enough
Put your hands up, put your hands up
We'll fight until we die, this ain't ever gonna stop
