Your garden is the resistance.
PBM family.
Don't say I didn't warn you.
It's 10 people.
Now, I think I spoke to you about 10 a.m. I'm still driving. You know, I don't think I've ever done a 12-hour round
trip in one day, 12 hours driving. I spent about four hours to try on International, aka the
new prepper camp. I just want to say, I feel good. I mean, really, like, good. Like, good. Good. Good.
This is no reason for me to feel as good as I feel right now.
You know, by this point, I should be keeled over this steering wheel.
You know, it's tap out time.
You know, I've been up.
I don't, I didn't sleep very good.
I was kind of excited.
I was a little nervous, you know, it's a long ride.
And I wanted to, you know, I didn't know what I was getting into, but I wanted to get good footage and good audio.
Create something nice for PreparCamp 2026 in the new location, you know what I mean?
So I didn't really sleep very well.
I was up and out of the house by six.
Six hours down and I don't know, five hours, 45 back now.
I'll be home, you know, before long.
Real close.
Tri-on International is an organization of a different dimension.
If you know the show.
It really is.
And, you know, talking to Rick about it.
it. What I'm really going to try to convey with this video footage I took is the scope of
Preper Camp now. You know, Preper Camp is a different thing now. It's, it is bigger and it is better.
And I don't just mean because we got restaurants and shops. I started with a gentleman who
was showing us around. I started down at the new lake, right? So Preper Camp always takes it.
plates around the lake.
And we started down at the new lake.
It's a bigger lake.
It's a prettier lake.
It's a, you know, it's a manicured.
This is a manicured location, Tryon International.
This is a location that is, it's sort of like a,
it's sort of something like a,
a resort in the making.
You know, it's like a resort in the making.
the making that doesn't yet have the housing or the lodging compatible to really do what it can do.
It's a massive property, massive.
And I start down at the far end of the property.
I drove through the whole thing.
So all the tram cars are, you're going to be trammed depending on where you park,
but you'll be tram card down to the event, which I think you're going to love that.
The lake itself is gorgeous.
I got a sort of a breakdown from Rick Austin where the tents are going to be, where the parking,
vendor location is going to be, and, you know, the whole layout of what's going on.
The food situation is going to be absolutely outrageous because we're going to be doing,
largely the place is going to be catering.
Okay?
I mean, that's truly what it's going to be.
It's going to be catering.
And I can't wait.
So there'll be four separate restaurants providing food underneath of a tent on a giant concrete slab, breakfast, lunch, dinner.
I'm pretty sure.
Don't quote me on that, but they're definitely going to be there.
The restaurants will be open for breakfast, lunch, dinner.
You know, I think what you need to understand is you're going to be resort camping at Prepper Camp with amenities like you can.
can't even wrap your head around.
But it all will happen.
The Preper Camp event itself will most,
will all happen, really,
at this lake where we started our adventure.
And, yeah, I saw the catering area where they're going to be running demos with the dogs
and that kind of stuff.
And it's good.
It's an upgrade.
It's a bigger lake.
It's not as accessible.
One thing about it that, you know, some of you,
you might not like, I will miss, I'm sure, is that you can't hop into a canoe and go, right?
I don't even know if there's fish in this place because it really is sort of a visual experience.
But then we took a ride, which is, I mean, this place, tent city,
tent city may have gotten the biggest upgrade out of the entire operation, right?
Like Prepper Camp got some upgrades.
There's no denying that.
But I'm telling you right now,
the biggest,
the biggest upgrade of all,
I think, is 10th City.
We pool in the 10th City,
parked the vehicles.
We didn't even really need to drive over there.
It's right next to the event,
which is great, like,
right next to the event.
Kind of beautiful, kind of wonderful.
I really like the way they set that up, man.
I think that's genius.
People are going to love it.
So I get into Ten City and I'm like, oh my God, look at this, right?
Like, look at this.
It's long rolling hills.
It's a long expanse, lots of room, right?
I think there's going to be parking within the Tent City operation.
Um, it's a picturesque. There's a, there's a, a babbling creek.
Not babbling necessarily. He says it gets up to like three feet deep in some places.
I mean, there's a legitimate creek. River. It's not rivers side. It's a creek. Um, but it's a big creek.
And it's along the left side of tent city. And it's, uh, it's a picturesque.
It's picturesque and it's just, like I said, a short walk.
from the event itself.
Like, you can roll out a bed of Tent City and you don't have to walk down across streets
and walk through the RV area and up a hill and down a hill to the, you'd be right there.
Like, it's tempting.
You know, your Tropic Commander might wind up in Tent City this year.
I don't know.
I got to think about it.
But we saw the facilities, went and saw some of the parking, a lot of parking available.
And like I said, the parking.
As you get sort of further away from everything, you will be, you'll be trammed down.
It's going to be nice.
The tram cars are really nice.
I got video of that.
You'll be able to see them.
They're like vintage Disney World.
You know, it's pretty cool.
Then we went up, you know, and all that was great.
Seeing all that was great.
Seeing all that was like, wow, this is, you know, this is going to be a thing, man.
This is cool.
It's a serious upgrade.
You can see it.
seeing it all was great and uh but i hadn't quite i didn't still even pulling into the place being
there doing all those kind of thing i still didn't quite understand this try on international i didn't
quite understand what this place is right because everything spread out the scope is what's different
and i think that's the word and uh rick used that word he said it's the scope
of the place that's hard to explain.
And then he's exactly right.
He's 100% right.
It is the scope of this place.
We get up to the top of the hill where we parked,
up to the main sort of lodging area and all the events and the horse pen, what
they call it, wherever they ride the horses around and all that kind of stuff,
they've got several different areas.
But the one main outdoor one.
And we start working our way through the facilities, man.
they got a really nice general store with a coffee shop and bake goods and food and wine and all kinds of stuff
they got uh i mean a general store where like you nothing like orchard lake like not even
it makes orchard lake look like some guy popped his trunk and he's selling out of the trunk you know what i
mean like a real legitimate kind of place that is going to have almost everything you want even up
into like raw ingredients like eggs and milk and these kinds of things right and uh i don't know
that alone kind of blew me away that was like oh man camping will be nice you know it's one of those
things like if you want a you want a hot cheeto at the campsite you'll be able to get it you know
everything you want a fresh croissant you could go get it blew me away that's just one
We leave the general store.
We go into a restaurant.
Beautiful, beautiful.
No, I think we went to two restaurants.
No, we went into one.
We went into the outside place, the bar joint.
Nice, great, you know, open walls and stuff.
Pretty nice place to go in and, you know, probably bar fare.
That kind of thing was called the Silver Spoon Bar.
And then, Rick and Jane have been talking about this arcade area slash gym
slash entertainment area, like since I showed up.
They were really psyched to show me.
And for good damn reason.
I mean, you get it.
This place, this place warrants a visit in and of itself.
I mean, truly, this place warrants a visit, like a day in and of itself.
There's these crazy, rich people car racing games.
I don't know how else to describe them.
I've gone into a lot of arcades.
My youngest went through an arcade phase where we travel.
all over the East Coast going to arcades.
You know what I mean?
And I don't know.
It was just his thing for a little while, right?
And I'd never seen these.
They sit on the ground, like, they got the legitimate, like, rails.
Like, the seat itself is set on rails, just like a real car so you can back, you know,
fit the steering wheel on the thing looks like an Xbox controller drawn out.
It's wild.
They got a giant shuffleboard table in there.
They got duck pin bowling in there.
They got like six.
They got like six stalls for axe throwing.
They got a digital gaming projector.
I don't know if you've ever played with one of those, but they're pretty fun.
You can do all kinds of stuff, shoot archery, hit golf balls, throw baseballs, throw footballs,
dodge ball, shoot stuff with laser guns.
Awesome.
And, you know, we're looking at all this, and I'm like, man, this is really cool.
What's back here?
oh, that's the Jiu-Jitsu gym and our CrossFit gym and our regular gym.
And you go back there and everything's loaded.
Look at this place.
So at this point, I'm like, I'm blown away, but I'm also realizing I haven't seen anything yet.
Not in like a negative way.
And like, there's so much more here.
So we head on over to another restaurant, a state.
And I just really sit down.
Run into the Food and Bev manager, talk to him for a little while.
Head out of that place.
Go into the, try to get into the sushi joint.
That's not open, right?
But suffice it to say, they got a sushi and noodle joint right next to the steakhouse.
We leave out of there.
We go to a place called the Buzi Bowl, which is like a little walk-in type joint.
They show me this stretch of shops that runs all the way down the length of the area where the horses do their,
training or the horse riders and horses do their training and at this point i'm kind of like okay
like i get it i see it now for what it is i see what's going on here like this
prepper camp is happening at this place but this place is also happening and this place is
a function of the event that is prepper camp now this is a it's a part of the deal and it's not a
all part. All I can think about, I'm sitting at the diner. We go to this place called
Rudy's Rogers. Rogers Diner. We go stop in at Rogers Diner and Rick bought Jane and I lunch.
Dwell, it was kind of like my dinner. So I had to get, you know, I had to get the Rogers Burger
to see what that's all about. And we're sitting there and, you know, I'm asking them questions.
They're miced up a little bit. We're doing a little bit of podcast stuff while we wait for the food
and coffee to arrive, of course.
And all of a sudden, I just start thinking of everybody at PreperCamp.
I start thinking about the Hathaway's in that arcade.
You know what I mean?
I start thinking about the Hathaway's literally all, each one of them having their own
axe station throwing axes.
And I realized like PreperCamp may have to become a longer event.
Like a three-day event at PreparCamp at Orchard Lake Campgrounds, enough time.
to do what you want to do.
But I don't know if a three-day event is enough to experience Prepper Camp.
Which, and this is kind of the connection that I'm making in my head, right?
Preper Camp used to be the events at Preper Camp and maybe a little one-off campground fun.
And of course, you know, the extracurriculars.
now Preper Camp is it's tied into this massive resort and look if you're if you're camping there's
nothing saying you have to like go see all this stuff you don't want to you don't have you can
leave Preper Camp and go you know right to your RV right to your hotel room right to your
campsite whatever you choose to do but now but what I want to convey to you and it'll be easier to do
with the video, but I thought I just talked to you about it now. I'm on my ride home.
Is that Preper Camp has, to call it bigger and better is accurate, but it doesn't explain it.
It doesn't explain how you're going to have access to things that you never really
wrapped your head around having access to.
Like, you're going to have access to what is the highest of level gyms that I've ever been into
at a resort, you know?
Like, highest level.
CrossFit gym, you know,
nice big free weights,
cardio, jujitsu mats,
heavy bags, kettlebells,
everything.
That could be how you're mourning at Preper Camps.
If you're a lunatic like me, right?
And by the way, we'll talk about this later,
but you may see me in that gym in the morning.
But suffice it to say, man, like,
that's a part of it.
And not only is that a part of it, but like the waking up in a bed, in a lodge, in a, you know, more of a comfortable situation than you're used to, that's a part of it.
And saying to yourself, like, which one of these restaurants is serving breakfast and how many different ones are serving breakfast?
Do we want to go buy breakfast?
Or do we want to just go down to the lake and get breakfast down there?
Because they're going to have food down there too.
They're going to have like a pool in Starbucks joint down there.
So it's just, it really is a scope thing.
It's an expansion of PreperCamp amenities.
You know, I guess that's really what it is.
And when I got through looking at all the amenities, you know, there was nothing in any of this stuff that made me feel like, oh, this might not work.
Everything was just like, I'm not going to have enough time.
Like, this is going to be sweet.
it's it's really cool man it's it's really cool but it's really different and once you see it all
you'll see you know what i mean there's no there's no way not you can't not call it different
the access to amenities is so vast and so different you just have to wrap your head and i don't
even know it all like they were talking the guy who runs the place was talking about you
we got mountain bike trails and running trails and dirt bike trails and dirt bike trails and dirt bike trails
and all kind of stuff that I didn't get to see
that is hidden around there.
And it's just take prepper camp and drop it into a resort
and let everybody have access to the resort.
And also understand that the resort is going to be open just to us.
It's like a private event for us.
So it's, we can make it a time, man.
You know, I'm going to have to bring some prizes
so we can do some acts throwing competitions
and some dart throwing competitions.
And there's just a lot of fun to be had, man.
Like I said, there's so much fun to be had.
There's so much to experience that, I mean, yeah,
it's going to be a blast.
It's going to be an absolute blast.
Like, if you take full advantage of what they got going on,
it's going to be a different thing.
Prepper cam's still going to happen.
And it's going to be bigger,
and it's going to be more beautiful.
I think the event itself is going to be awesome.
Everything's going to be closer together, which I think is kind of cool from the prepper camp standpoint,
like from the event itself.
And I like that a lot.
I think that's sweet.
But in your free time, man, it's a whole new ball game.
You know what I mean?
Maybe for breakfast, maybe after you do your morning class, you take a lunch off and you go,
I don't know.
You know what I mean?
But what I do know is there's a lot of fun stuff to do.
a lot of fun stuff to do so more to come on that guys um i wanted to give you sort of my breakdown
of what i saw first first person right this sort of the overview right it's just it's just a much
larger footprint a much grander scope and some really awesome amenities if you want to get into
that kind of thing you know what i mean there's also like a food truck there like it doesn't seem
to be a situation where everything is going to be you know a sit-downed
steak dinner or anything like that because it is a place for people with loads of money on a
regular basis it looks like um you'll still be able to take advantage of a lot of this stuff on a
on a budget you know what i mean but it's going to be phenomenal i can tell you that much it's going
be phenomenal what i do think is this is going to see this facility will allow prepper camp to grow
It will allow Preper Camp to grow and become something much bigger because people will be able to bring their families and maybe even their friends in their families.
You know what I mean?
And that's great news for us.
You know, there's only so many people.
There's a reason you've never seen Lady Liberty at Preper Camp, right?
Like, she's not too interested in spending her whole day, or four days of her life at a campground.
It's not her style.
She's a get up and go get them type of lady, you know what I mean?
This is a much better chance.
And also for people who don't want to do like heroic camping on the side of a lake,
it's an opportunity to be able to stay in a lodge, stay in a hotel room.
You know what I mean?
A really nice one.
So times they are changing PBM family.
Preper Camp has certainly got itself an upgrade and I look forward to seeing you there.
Talk to you soon.
Stay tuned for the video.
