So today is all about storing more baking soda.
The preparative of the day is about storing more baking soda because baking soda does everything, right?
It's one of those, it's dirt cheap, really.
I mean, it's really amazing just how affordable it is to store a lot of baking soda, five-gallon buckets, whatever you want to do.
I thought we'd talk a little bit about the things that you can do with baking soda today
to sort of drive home the fact that this, you know, I mean, aside from that actual baking,
what I first got into learning about baking soda and the power of baking soda was all about
personal hygiene. It was all about, I started understanding like you can make things like
deodorant from baking soda, right?
it's as simple as mixing one part baking soda to six parts corn starch or even arrowroot powder
you can put essential oils in that if you want it you know want to have a scent what really
got me going about it you can make toothpaste you can make a lot of times the base for the toothpaste
is like baking soda coconut oil right maybe you make a paste from that you can flavor it with
essential oils if you want you can add salt to it um
dry shampoo, body scrub, mouthwash.
You can make a really good mouthwash with baking soda and some mint essential oils.
You can make a foot soak, right?
You can make, and that's nothing.
That's like two tablespoons of baking soda in a basin of warm water, right?
Not easy.
Hand cleanser, right?
All kinds of stuff from a personal hygiene standpoint.
That's this list right here that I'm reading you was a,
was a big driver behind why I said we need to store more baking soda.
Otherwise, you're thinking, we've got to store extra toothpaste.
We've got to store extra mouthwash.
We've got to store extra shampoo.
We got to store extra this.
We get a store extra that, right?
If you learn to make soap and have baking soda, you learn the process of soponification
and you have baking soda at large, I mean, a lot of your personal hygiene problems
are going to go out the door.
Maybe you store a little surplus of coconut oil to help with both processes, right?
I'm telling you right now.
And we're not even talking about cleaning.
All-purpose cleaners, right?
Cleaning carpets, cleaning drains, cleaning ovens, boosting your dwindling laundry cleaner, right, in an emergency.
You can clean the grout between your tiles.
Obviously, deodorize the fridge.
We've been doing that forever.
You can use it to polish.
I don't know how much polishing of silverware and jewelry you're going to do,
but you never know, right?
Maybe you got some dingy silver coins you want to use, you want to sell.
So it's a quick and easy tip, guys.
That's what I'm after, okay?
It's what I'm after.
Store more baking, so you don't have enough baking soda.
Store more baking soda because it solves all kinds of problems for you.
And it's one of those things that, like I said, right now, and normally,
it's dirt cheap not to mention you can bake a bunch of stuff with it right um but it's dirt cheap
easy to get your hands on easy to store in fact if you buy it in bulk at like a sams club
you can get it in an orange Ziploc bag a large fortify like a really strong zip lock great way to
store it get it while you can that's it buy the baking soda your prepper tip of the day and
you know what one bonus tip make the stuff it's a
enough to have it, but it's even better to make some baking soda-based mouthwash, see how it
works. Make some baking soda and coconut oil toothpaste and see how it works. You don't want too many
firsts, right? You don't want too many firsts in an emergency. We got to quote Dave Jones,
