You're listening to PBN.
You're paying back the stability. The PBN family, welcome into Prepper's Life.
I've got one for you. Ready?
The stability of the world, this is a new metric, the stability of the world can be measured by the amount of U.S. government and NGO rescue missions across the planet.
I fumbled the last part, but you get where I'm going.
get where I'm going. The amount of Americans that need rescuing across the world is a great metric for the conditions overall, right? What? We're now in Haiti dropping in and trying to save people.
God in heaven, get me out of here. They're chopping each other up with machetes.
Machetes, we have had over and over and over.
We've had a master class, folks, in collapse.
We've had a master class in collapse.
What would it look like in a war-torn America?
What would it look like in an economic collapse? What would it look like?
Good God.
You know, the powerful elites in Haiti are the ones that are going to take control.
Same thing will happen here, no matter what we prep for.
If you're in an area that can be affected by that kind of stuff,
and you don't have a plan to get out of that area,
the people with the money, the people who can do the recruiting of the men with guns, will undoubtedly overtake an area.
I don't know how long they'll overtake it, but they'll overtake it.
There's no doubt about it, right?
Members, if you haven't listened to my last podcast, it's all about this concept of what's going to happen.
It's all about this concept of what's going to happen.
What's going to happen in, you know, suburbs in situations like this.
We may be in a unique situation tonight, and if we are, I was planning on this show being less than an hour today, with guests.
Originally, I made a mistake and said that the People's Nurse,
Jen Vandewater, is going to be joining us.
An amazing woman, amazing story.
Actually interviewed on PBN already.
I deleted the whole interview at the end of the interview.
And you never heard it.
And it's been a sour spot in my belly ever since.
So I hunted her down on Twitter and got her back on.
But I scheduled her for next Monday, not this Monday, the 25th, not the 18th.
My mistake.
Then I was saved by the potential of having Drew Miller on,
the creator of the Collapse Survivor app.
You have the Collapse Survivor app, right?
Right?
We're in between scenarios right now, so it's the perfect time to get it.
I was going to ask Drew when the next scenario starts.
I actually don't know.
But the Collapse Survivor app is available.
It does more than scenarios.
Simulation. I'm sorry, simulation is the word.
Simulations mimic real-world societal collapse scenarios.
A live simulation describes a particular event and takes the users on a journey using real-time-based screens
released at specific intervals.
I'll give you a preview or a wrap-up of what I've done thus far.
I died surviving the H5N1 pandemic, killed by marauders,
created a party to—joined, which is pretty similar to what might happen,
joined a neighboring community of people who were
kind of doing intel on this group of guys this group of marauder guys and uh we were like you
know what let's preemptive strike and we went for the preemptive strike but they knew it was coming
because they had a they had their own intel inside of our community And I got killed in the firefight. Dead.
That's death number one.
Grid down cyber slash physical attacks on the grid. Like a massive multi-scope grid down attack was the next scenario.
And died there too.
I don't remember what got me there though.
I want to say I got killed again.
Marauder style.
Something got killed me.
It was abrupt, out of nowhere.
Drew told me that some of these things are random to some degree
when it comes to the marauder killing.
But I was also...
You see, the marauder killings can be somewhat random.
However, your food and water stores and the amounts that you commit to in the app,
I only committed to 20 days of water and 20 days of food.
Because I wasn't even sure.
In the initial goings on this thing, I wasn't sure how much into this app I was going to get.
goings on this thing. I wasn't sure how much into this app I was going to get.
Once I got into the first simulation, I said, this thing is a new preparedness staple for me.
For me, it's a new preparedness essential. And trust me, it's just the beginning.
Collapse Survivor, download the app today. You get a 30-day free trial if you want to just try the simulations out a whole month, right?
You can see what the app does and all that kind of fun stuff. You got stimulation, stockpile, alerts, frequently asked questions, and media.
And the media has all the wrap-ups.
So it's got the Collapse Survivor YouTube podcast,
H5N1 Pandemic.
What I'm going to do going forward is,
I'm pretty sure Drew said it was okay.
I'm going to take these YouTube podcasts that they do.
I'm going to strip the audio out of them
and put them up as podcasts here. So
at the end of every scenario, we'll also get to hear Drew's take on it. And I'm sorry, I don't
know the other guy's name. I apologize. But they do it sort of a two-man pod. I imagine I'll probably
be hopping on that cast. Dave Jones will be hopping on that cast, that kind of thing to discuss,
you know, that this is what we've done.
This is what we've done. This is how we've done it.
These are the challenges, so on and so forth.
I mean, you know, I told you during Gotham Get Out, I said, you know,
there is something very special about simulation, you know?
I'm trying to see if Drew's around.
I called him a few times before the show, and he wasn't.
Not sure, you know, what has happened, but he may be on, he may not.
If we don't get Drew by 8.30, I can tell you I'm not going to sort of spin around
and do a headstand
or anything like that to keep you guys entertained i'm very excited this evening my son the littlest
one now you know the big one he's established athlete at this point i don't this is not
something i planned for not something i have seen coming. You know, the idea that anyone would say to me,
hey, let's go out and practice throwing.
Let's go out and practice playing basketball.
That is hilarious.
But PBN family, I can't tell you how important it is
to be able to find your little niche, man.
Find your little niche in life.
Find out what you can do. You know what I mean? But yeah, we've got these little kids, man,
and they do crazy things. It's wild. The season kicked off tonight, and it's a scrimmage,
but the scrimmage kicked off tonight at 7 o'clock, and my wife texts me and says,
he scored the first points of the game.
He scored the second points of the game, and then that was it.
It must have been a pretty tight first quarter because they went into the second quarter 4-0,
and he may just be warming up.
It's great because, you know, one of the things about sports, I avoided
sports with my everything. With my very soul, I avoided competitive team sports. I like
to play them, you know, with the neighborhood kids, but that was about it. But what's really cool is we got a nice basketball hoop,
fell off Santa's sleigh, landed in the backyard.
You wouldn't believe it.
It was wild.
Created a divot in the backyard, fell off the sleigh, boom,
lands in the backyard Christmas Eve.
Kids unwrap all their presents.
We go out back.
Whoa, check this out right so this big this big basketball
hoop in the backyard we build it put it up front and then you know both kids are playing basketball
at this point and it's beautiful to have be able to give them access like that because then they
can go out there and get the reps and i always tell my kids it's all the reps, just reps.
When they see people and they're like, how are you so good?
Just reps, man.
Just do the reps.
Same thing with Carter.
It's football season.
We'll go out and throw the football for, you know,
when the weather's good and we go to the field,
we'll throw the football for an hour.
You know what I mean?
And farther and farther and farther and farther.
And I'm not a quarterback I never
You know
But the reps
You do the reps
He's always on the fence
Like I might want to play quarterback
I don't know though
And I'm like hey whatever you want to do man
It's all reps
Same for you PBN family
It's all reps
Same thing
That's what the routines are about.
You doing your spring routine?
Where are all my members?
Raise your hand.
Spring routine.
Today we got kettlebells.
Today we got yoga.
I could just talk about it now.
I don't care.
We're over halfway through the month.
If someone wants to piece together what the routines are without joining as a member, it really wouldn't even bother me that much.
You know what I mean? my GMRS car radio, my car unit, my Retvis RA25, which was in my vehicle for a while,
and the antenna was actually creating a rust ring on the roof of my car truck,
which I did not want to have happen.
So I took that thing down, and then I said to myself,
I don't know what it was. I think it was Sarah and the sun talk and then it was Russia and nukes.
Anyway, I went into Faraday protocols. I stuffed that thing. I stuffed a couple Balfangs. I stuffed a couple two-ways.
I stuffed some other items, storage, you know, data and digital storage of items,
all into a Faraday bag. My SLNT.
Remember SLNT, our sponsors back in the day?
I'm live, buddy.
I told you I was going live.
Now you're live.
Sounding silly.
Sorry.
Miscommunication with the oldest.
He's here with me.
The listening reps, they don't work.
But, you know, everything else is pretty good with reps.
Kids, only parents can get that. If you're not not a parent you probably have a frowny face and being mean to his child you know the kids selectively
listen that's what they do i'm sure i did the same thing i do it to my wife sometimes it is what it
is you know it's just part of the deal all right uh i don't know garden girl she's a mama she knows the deal
i um she laughed out lol in the chat room i'm gonna run a couple ads come back i'm just gonna
chat man i don't i don't know what happened to drew we talked earlier today he said yeah he wants
to come on and all that business who knows i don know. I sent him an email before the show. We'll get him on.
Maybe we'll get him on Wednesday as we intended originally. I don't know though. God, I'm hitting
you guys very hard with Collapse Survivor. Suffice it to say, we are trying to get a lot of people
on that. You know what I mean? We want to get a lot of people on there to experience what's going on here.
We want input, and we want to modify it,
and we want to make it great,
and so on and so forth.
There's what it is.
Run a couple, a couple short ones.
Do I got a couple short ones?
A couple short ones.
Let's do a couple short ones.
Looks like there's some turbulence up ahead.
It's a good thing you found us.
We are the Prepper Broadcasting Network.
Your path to stability.
Quick question. When's the last time you practiced with your firearm?

Be me and family. Your garden is the resistance.
One day I'm going to sell my fine piece of land over there south of Albuquerque to a wonderful family of 12 20-year-old Haitian immigrants
who are going to join the great cause of American freedom
and do nothing but good for everyone in the area.
Hey, look, yourcheapland.com, check it out.
I'm not going to opine for them any more than that.
I could tell you this much. I am very going to opine for them any more than that. I could tell you this much.
I am very happy to have the amount of money invested in that.
That's not even a lot of money, but the amount of money invested in American dirt, baby.
American dirt at the foot of a mountain range.
I am very happy to have that over having that money in U.S. dollars sitting in a bank account somewhere and wondering every day, when I wake up, is it still going to be there? Is
the government going to seize my money and give it to the Haitians? What are we doing
today? I don't know. It's beautiful. I'm trying not to wade into the dark and dreary, to be
honest with you, because it's spring and it's so pretty out. It's breathtaking. You know what I mean? Driving through my neighborhood
is like the Garden of Eden this time of year. Really, fundamentally. It's like the Garden of
Eden. It's as idyllic as a place has ever been in history. You drive through the neighborhood.
It's not a nice neighborhood it's not an hoa neighborhood
you know what i mean what it is quite frankly is a hidden neighborhood
not by design but you drive through it man and it's it's uh i mean it's a wash in trees i mean
there's a ton of dogwoods there's a ton of crepe myrtles there's a ton of red buds there's a ton of dogwoods. There's a ton of crepe myrtles. There's a ton of red buds.
There's a ton of other white trees.
I have no idea.
One of our neighbors has a couple peach trees in the front yard.
They're in full force right now.
Everything, it looks like Easter out there, everywhere.
It's beautiful.
It's beautiful. It's gorgeous. So it's counterintuitive to take my mind and saturate it in the pollen of these beautiful trees.
Like in a few weeks' time max, maybe even a week,
my car will literally be covered in the pollen of these beautiful trees.
And, you know, anytime you get a chance to pay attention to trees,
remember it's about a lot more than just beauty.
You want to know what a dogwood looks like.
When you see those distinct
flowers. You want to know what a dogwood is capable of for you. I'm telling you right now,
I tell you to buy my book on medicinal plants and herbs, but it's in black and white,
and the publishing hack won't get back to me on it. It's unbelievable to me, guys.
Hack won't get back to me on it.
It's unbelievable to me, guys.
I wrote this amazing book.
It's all about survival. I mean, I guess it's still pretty good.
The information on it is really good.
But I can't get my head wrapped around selling people on a book that is $30 and not in color.
Now, let's see. Maybe he changed it and didn't contact me back.
He could have been embarrassed. Let's bring it up on Amazon. Just have a look. A Survivor's Guide to Wild Medicinal Herbs. Okay. Written by yours truly. Written in totality by yours truly. I can't tell. They don't tell you shit. Let's see.
Great reviews.
Are you kidding?
This has to be fake.
There's a woman named Amanda Root.
Amanda Root.
Four and a half star review.
I don't know.
They're great reviews.
Wow.
I can't.
Nobody says anything about it being in black and white.
So maybe it is in color now.
Here we go.
Here we go.
This is what we need.
Independently published June 26, 173 pages, 1.12 pounds.
Why?
And it doesn't say whether it's in color or not.
Are you kidding?
Where do I find this information?
How many books I've published on Amazon and I don't know where this is?
Hard cover.
Can I peek inside?
The cover is gorgeous, by the way.
Guy did a great job.
Yeah, I don't know.
Comprehensive index. We've got a whole index in there that's alphabetical order easy.
Yeah, I wouldn't tell you.
I wouldn't tell you to buy it.
Maybe I should buy it again for like the 16th time.
You see, I bought a whole bunch of these books for Prepper Camp.
And I got them all, and they were all in black and white.
And then I was like, what in the holy hell is happening here?
And I talked to the guy, and I'm like, hey, man, why is this in black and white?
And you know what he said? I'll like hey man Why is this in black and white And you know what he said I'll tell you this is what he said
You ready
That's exactly what he said
He never got back to me
Never talked to me again
We did this magic together
And he never got back to me again
Okay Well What was I talking about How did I even wind up here We did this magic together and he never got back to me again.
Okay, well.
What was I talking about?
How did I even wind up here?
I said I was going to be nice and... I said I was going to be nice.
Oh, the dogwood tree.
Yeah.
The dogwood.
The dogwood's a winner, man.
It's an appetite stimulant.
Some people say that you can substitute it for quinine, the bark, tea from the bark.
But tea from the bark is, the dogwood tree is great.
Fever reducer for colds, you know, those kinds of things.
Fever reducer for colds, you know, those kinds of things.
Just, you know, two ounces, two cups, something like that.
Make a quick tea.
It's an amazing, and it's so incredibly common.
I can't talk about this stuff too much.
I feel like I'm harshing our man on Wednesday's mellow.
You know what I mean?
I am harshing herbal medicine for preppers.
He's so good, man.
When I get a new host, I'm just so amazed at how incredible people are.
I'm completely drawing a blank.
Herbal medicine for preppers.
How come it doesn't pop up?
I guess I got to put PBN.
Prepper Broadcasting Network.
Your path back to stability.
Ah, Judson, my man Judson.
Totally draw a blank on his name.
Don't ask me how.
I just was talking to him for like a while, the last couple weeks ago.
I think I gave him a new cover for his book.
He's got a great new book, man.
The Spring Foragers Cookbook.
Come on.
That's the book you want to buy. You want a
foraging book, buy his books. The Joneses have them. A lot of people have them. He's the guy.
I mean, he's, look, I don't do anything every day except run things. When I write a book about
running things or fishing, that's the one you want.
Other than that, I'm all over the place.
You know what I mean?
U.S. forces say Houthi attacks threaten world amid hypersonic missile report.
What, the Houthis have a, they got a hypersonic missile now all of a sudden, like magic?
For five months, Ansar Allah, commonly known as the Houthi Movement, has targeted... Okay, I don't care. We know what's happened already.
But on the same day that the Houthi Movement committed to broadening the scope of Ansar Allah's maritime campaign,
reports emerged of another alleged breakthrough for the group.
Russia's state-run Sputnik News cited an unnamed military source say they have successfully tested a hypersonic
weapon for the first time. Now, I said this today on PBN Daily News. I will say it again.
Why do the Houthis exist? Why? Yeah, the Houthis, the cartels, like, what's going on?
Why are we sitting around like, oh, no.
Oh, no, they're going to do stuff to us.
How many billions of dollars do we have to spend on the military?
Oh, my God, look at Argentina.
Jesus, God in heaven.
Yeah. Use my metric, PBN family.
You can judge the conditions of the world by the amount of Americans being rescued by the FedGov or NGOs.
Right? The more Americans being plucked out of nations all over the world
lets you know that things are just Biden-rific.
They are just wonderful these days.
But you know, probably where you are,
probably where you are right here and now listening to this podcast,
it's pretty damn good podcast. Pretty damn good.
Probably pretty damn good.
You're probably sitting around looking at some kind of sprouting operation going on, I hope.
I hope you have a sprouting operation going on.
I was at, I don't know, I'd say Sam's Club, any major hardware store, obviously any
major greenhouse. Get your hands on, maybe you've got your hands on some perennials this year.
got your hands on some perennials this year. Maybe my absolutely voracious raspberry plants hopped the fence. This is no lie. They hopped the fence into one of my raised beds. I don't
know if I have the heart to kill them. You know what I mean? I don't know if I have the heart to
pull it out. But it is what it is. It's beautiful. It's wonderful. My elderberry came back. It was
eaten down to nothing. I nursed this thing from a little stick. This was another one of those little
Stark's Brothers or wherever I got it from. Stick, you know, they send you like a little
stick with roots, dry, dry, what do they call them? Dry root? What do they call them?
Dry, dry, what do they call them?
Dry root?
What do they call them?
Dry root, I think, right?
Bear root.
I'm sorry, bear root.
I started all my trees bear root.
I started this plant bear root.
I started my strawberries bear root.
They're cheap.
Cheap and effective.
Awesome.
Get yourself some bear root perennials.
You know, maybe you have your bare root perennials already going.
We have successfully, for the third time, third time's a charm, I guess.
We had the Jerusalem artichoke transplant.
All my 10, 11 years, no, 13 years in this house, I've been thinking to myself,
I want to grow something out front.
I want to grow something out front edible in this little plot that's right in front of my porch, you know.
Little did I know I'd be growing giant sunflowers with edible tubers at the base.
What a lot of guys don't talk about, or people in general, when they talk about the Jerusalem artichoke is, yeah, it's, yes, it's an inulin, inulin, inulin-filled tuber that if you eat a ton of them can mess with your
digestion, you can have trouble digesting them, you might get gas. But they are starch, they
propagate tremendously, but what most people don't talk about is they put off
beautiful flowers, beautiful sunflowers. You know, not like mammoth sunflowers where you can get the
seeds, but it's pretty cool, man. This is what I mean. These are the two worlds that you can exist
in. You can exist in the world of national news and terror and horror and misery.
Or you can exist in the, you know, last thing I'll talk about tonight, the power of community, and then I'm getting off because the show has crashed and burned effectively.
It's the first time in my life I started a day with two potential guests and wound up with zero.
Never happened to me before.
I mean, it's common.
You know, a guest won't show up.
But it's amazing when you think you have two and you wind up. Actually, I thought I had three because I asked Dave Jones to come on with Drew too.
And here I am.
The cheese stands alone.
We had some downed power lines.
Just a random tree fell over.
Downed power lines in the neighborhood.
And I've been here long enough,
and we've all been here, a lot of us,
particularly on my block,
have been here together for 13 years. You know what I mean?
here together for 13 years. You know what I mean? And I love chaos in the neighborhood.
And I don't love the inconvenience. I don't love the struggles that people have.
I love that everyone comes out and everyone seeks to help and everyone communicates and everyone, you know, I just love it. I love it. We try to sew the community together in that way. And I can't sit here and say that we have scheduled meetings all
the time and it's, you know, we're all, you know, whatever. But what I can tell you is that
there is a, there is an ebb and flow to our community, and it's a beautiful thing,
you know? So we come together, and then we sort of separate, you know, and then we come together,
but I think what has happened over the years is that our community comes together closer now
and with greater numbers now than we did in years past.
And you just, you know, in all reality, guys,
and this is what I'll end with,
in all reality, like when you're talking about
setting up in a suburban area or whatever,
whatever your situation is and you're thinking about like that preparedness or survival community,
the reality of it is for most people, if you're going to have numbers, then you're going to have people and you're going to
have people who have things to do. So this idea that you're going to have this group of people
who's up your ass all the time and you're always doing things every weekend, you know, that ain't
how life works, man. Now, if you want to take a group of people and move out to another area,
you know, out in the middle of nowhere and do like a compound kind of thing.
Then you may be able to situate it in a way that, you know, you do church together and you do trainings together and all that kind of stuff.
And look, you got to make that happen, though.
You know what I'm saying?
You got to make that happen. That's something i'm saying you gotta make that happen that's something
that has to be made to happen but what you can do is you can create an a well uh connected community
who when things go wrong seek to help one another out you can can do that. You can do that in your neighborhood.
Now's not the show to explain how,
but you can do that.
So, all right, PBN family.
Short and sweet, Preppers Live.
Three potential guests,
and the cheese stands alone.
Get the Collapse Survivor app rap join us for our next simulation

It's the first of its kind that I've ever seen.
That's cool.
That's good.
I mean, there's a lot of things out there that are kind of like, eh, you know what I mean?
But these simulations are well thought out.
They are, those guys did a great job.
