Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to PBN. You're paying back the stability. A good evening, PBN family. We are live. Preppers live. First of its kind, actually, Preppers live. This is, uh, yeah. This is Preppers Live Plus. You know, like Disney Plus.
Starting point is 00:00:49 Hey, Talsaki, I haven't seen you in a while, man. Where have you been? Garden Girl is with us? I'm blue in here. I put my light up against the blue wall, and it makes me look like Tombstone from Spider-Man. I don't know if you guys even know that reference or not. I'm realizing that this position is not the most advantageous position. So we're doing something special tonight, folks.
Starting point is 00:01:20 We're going to do the Preppers Live run that we normally do on mondays live typically the way that this works uh is that i have a guest you know what i mean and i thought to myself you know what why not combine instagram with the live podcast and see how it goes you know why not i've tried video before on rumble garden girl and it doesn't work it's not anybody's fault but my own it's just too much for my little laptop and all this connection but we have a great audience here at instagram we have a great audience here at the prepper broadcasting network and uh those streams have been crossing more lately, right? We've got people from Instagram coming over to the Prep of Broadcasting multiverse over there, and there's a lot to be had, you know what I mean? What's up? It's Paddy. There's a lot to be had over at the
Starting point is 00:02:19 Prep of Broadcasting world. If you want to listen to the podcast, it won't be much different than what you're listening to here on Instagram. But if you want to listen to subsequent future podcasts, go to PrepperBroadcasting.com. Cracker Woods 2023. I've got a tip for you. Cracker Woods 2023, one of our incredible members, says, I worked in the eye field forever. Try chamomile tea with a Q-tip only on the outer edge or holy basil if you have it.
Starting point is 00:02:56 Use a warm compress and it should drastically get better. Not to butt in. Because this morning we posted a video for our members. I don't know if you guys have seen it yet or not. You could kind of, you see the difference in my eyes on the video. I'm blue, so it doesn't. What's up, this disarray? Listen, Instagram, chat room over at PBN, if you guys have questions, comments, opinions on whatever's happening in the world today, feel free to interject. We can talk about it. I'm wide open today. I'm well caffeinated, well fed, and wide open, so we can do whatever.
Starting point is 00:03:39 But anyway, I got some conjunctivitis, and I made a, well, a front yard medicine compress. So essentially, you know, plantain, mint, that grow um in my front yard and uh looks like we got some some better advice from our member group it's just a lot of people we it's we're a deep deep thing what's up rodrigo clover how you guys doing you guys are a little quiet here in the evenings. I don't usually do evening videos over at Instagram, but we got some viewers. Welcome in. Typically, my videos are done outside. It's very rare that I'm inside doing a video, but you got to have the shore. You got to have the setup and so on and so forth. So Prepper's alive. What's up? The IDF is entering Rafa as we speak.
Starting point is 00:04:31 It doesn't really matter to me where you fall on the J-Ferg is with us. Hey, how do you guys like this Snoopy mug? It doesn't matter to me where you fall on the Israel-Palestine issue. It's probably a little unnerving that the Israelis are entering Rafah for some people. In some ways, though, this is what will bring this to an end. Irish brain stuff. Oh, JP in here morning and evening. Garden Girl, morning and evening. Jay JP in here morning and evening. Garden Girl, morning and evening.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Jay Ferg, morning and evening. You guys are the heart and soul of this thing. You know that? The heart and soul, man. I didn't pay very much attention to preparedness-related news. I didn't pay much attention to news at all today. Outside of just checking out the news real quick before I hopped on. So I'm a little bit in the dark about what's going on
Starting point is 00:05:31 in the grand scheme. I mean, I could probably piece it together. I could probably say that the United States Congress and leadership have devised some way to limit the Americans' ability to be a free people to some degree today. I could say that, you know, well, I don't know. I don't know if I feel like getting into it really. Irish Brain Stuff. It's a great name. Irish Brain Stuff. So last night we had an incredible show on.
Starting point is 00:06:04 We had our blooper show simple life wild wood homestead folks we're seven minutes into the podcast so finally i'll be able to sit here and talk and simple life wildwood homestead will not be coming in at the very end. I always feel so bad, man. You guys pop in, and I'm always like, all right, everybody, I'll see you tomorrow, and Simple Life Homestead comes in. We got a new homestead. I want you guys to check a website out. We've got another homestead here.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Let me give you the Kranz Capital. Well, it doesn't have to be capital k-r-a-n-z homestead.com kranz homestead.com another longtime member with us here at the prepper broadcasting network um man got a really cool website real simple, real straightforward Some dehydrated or Sorry, some freeze dried candy Some freeze dried fruit Jake the Snake is back for a round two also Pardon me
Starting point is 00:07:15 I'm still like on the mend I don't know what's going on The The allergies The children Sharing the lovely spring gooks with me. You know, that's how it goes. So, yeah, our friend KranzHomestead.com.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Check them guys out. I guess I'll do my ad reads tonight when we get to them. I'll just do them sort of acapella without the without the running the actual ads, because if I run the ads here, you guys won't get to hear them on Instagram. So what's up? What are people doing in the Instagram world to prepare for the world that we live in the greater world that we live in? That's kind of what I'm calling on you guys for. Or do you have questions regarding how to prepare, what things to prepare, so on and so forth? Because this show tonight is largely dependent on you guys stepping it up, putting a comment into that Instagram video and asking some questions. And then you get questions answered by me on the house. What up aloe me survivor 2024 how you guys doing
Starting point is 00:08:27 promote something talk about um the things that you do to prepare all that kind of stuff we've got a great audience on two platforms that are interested in finding that out. We also are running a Rumble live stream right now that is like 48 hours in or something. I don't know. Them Rumbles, they go, man. They go, go, go. So what's happening? What is happening out there? I got to get to the PBN side of things. happening out there. I got to get to the PBN side of things. Oh, so we had the blooper show last night. It's hilarious. A lot of you guys over at Instagram, you don't know that with, and maybe some of you listening to PBN don't know either, but along with us, you know, doing two, almost two shows per day now, we also participate in Sarah Hathaway, the author and audio drama producer's show,
Starting point is 00:09:30 The Changing Earth Audio Drama. I'm a character in it. Most of the hosts are characters in it. Jay Ferg, who's in chat, is in it. And last night, Sarah Hathaway ran a hilarious blooper show, man. It was great. It was absolutely great. Garden Girl says, I've done a bunch.
Starting point is 00:09:55 I've grown a bunch in my garden, but never done pickling. I'm assuming it's pretty straightforward. Oh, so you're talking pickling in general, like a general pickle. Yeah. Man. Oh, the things you can pickle if you only try. Two of my favorites, man. You know, obviously the classic dill, unbelievable. But another great one is sort of the rice wine vinegar, sugar, salt, brine that you can create to pickle like daikon radish and carrot. And you get that like if you go get a broken rice at a good restaurant. Oh, JP, you just brought it up.
Starting point is 00:10:47 You just brought it up. The best pickle of all. Oh, my God. I got to make some. I'm making some this week. I'm making some this week. You just brought it up. What's up, Ald Massey?
Starting point is 00:10:59 How you doing, my man? It's evening here. Listen. No, it's not raining. I'm just inside doing my podcast. How you doing from Brazil? Alexandro Balaboca Guerrera. Did I get that right? All right. Let's talk about
Starting point is 00:11:17 the best pickle of all time. I used to work in a Cuban joint. It was a high end Cuban joint. It was a high-end Cuban joint. Nuevo Latino. I have the book. I have the Nuevo Latino book right here. Douglas Rodriguez.
Starting point is 00:11:36 I don't know if you can see it or not. But to the PBN family listening to podcast only. Douglas Rodriguez, Nuevo Latino, is basically Cuban-French mixed dishes. Awesome, man. But the food was incredible. The food was incredibly decadent. I can't speak Spanish, guys. So, estamos de vacio de agua.
Starting point is 00:12:09 Something about water. Kill the water? What is it? I don't know. I'm not good enough at Spanish. Sorry. I appreciate you joining us, though. And then pumping the well shows up as we're talking about agua. Anyhow, Nuevo Latino, okay, it was a really cool place to work. It was a wild place because it was a 400, like, cover a night restaurant. I don't know how many seats were in the whole place, but I know we'd turn it over a couple times. 400, 450 was a big night, you know. Really top tiertier waitstaff, you know. So you had the top-tier, button-down, white-coat waitstaff. All good-looking, you know, in Center City, Philadelphia. Dudes, girls, the whole nine.
Starting point is 00:12:57 And then you had the kitchen, right? Oh, the water's off. Okay, I gotcha. I'm sorry to hear that, my man. I'd highly recommend no-grid survival projects. Not that it'll help you right now, but it's the way I go. And then we had the kitchen break staff, and then we had a basement prep level. And the basement prep level was almost like exclusively spanish speaking like undoubtedly filled with illegal aliens right um and they would juice limes all day and they would do all kinds of crazy prep work um and because we made like these decadent the food was so good because we made some decadent pork and beef dishes that were super rich like
Starting point is 00:13:49 not all pied de cochon what is what was it called not the pig's foot it was called man i can't think of it it was so good it was like a pork shank that was cooked in pork fat, slow cooked in pork fat all night. Pardon me. And then we would slice it and we would put chimichurri on it, which was like a vinegary herby mix, you know, and a lot of the dishes in the Nuevo Latino style were like that. They were super rich with tangy lime juice based stuff on them or tangy vinegar based stuff. And one of the things that we made, man, wow, my voice is going crazy right now. One of the things that we used to make was a red onion jalapeno pickle. was a red onion jalapeno pickle.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Yeah, it was a red onion and jalapeno pickle. And the brine itself was sweet. It was a sweet and salty brine, almost like a gherkin, you know, like a sweet pickle brine. And we would use a mandolin. And a mandolin is like a flat surface that you run onions on or run vegetables on. And then there's a blade that lines up with it, flat. And we would use a mandolin and we would shave down these onions, man, until they were paper thin. And then we do the same thing with jalapeno. And you wind up with these paper thin onions and these paper thin jalapeno slices.
Starting point is 00:15:24 And you wind up with these paper-thin onions and these paper-thin jalapeno slices. And you drop them into that sweet pickle. And, dude, that sweet pickle was spicy. What's up, Joray? Joray, we're over on Instagram too, buddy. You might want to pop in the video. What's up, JB, in the Element chat? And Dave Dave Jones thanks for joining us man we were going to bring Dave Jones on tonight but I didn't have a way to get him so that the people of Instagram could hear
Starting point is 00:15:55 him I've got to figure out how to do that okay let so jalapeno shaved jalapeno shaved red onion pickle sweet brine just look up a sweet pickle brine. I'm telling you, those out of your garden. Red onion. And maybe like cilantro if you want or something along those lines. It's 2 a.m. in Portugal and Jorate's with us, man. Wow. That's dedication.
Starting point is 00:16:27 All right, we got to talk about what's happening in Brazil because we got a live one here. Alexandro Albuquerque Guerra, if I said it right. He says, we're running out of water in the south of Brazil. Most of the highways are flooded by water from rain that filled our city. Many people and children lost their lives and many left with on. So south Brazil. I don't know the details, but that sounds terrible. but that sounds terrible it's amazing the things that you read about and the things they decide not to to throw into my feed so brazil floods lula seeks state of emergency after 85 dead in rain ravaged holy shit the whole city's underwater oh my god what a picture wow this is like a uh
Starting point is 00:17:30 the arena de de grima gremio is like underwater not underwater but but it's floating oh my god that the picture here Let me throw the picture in element. That's a crazy picture because, uh, Oh, Oh, I'm sorry. Refrigerator pickle for what I was talking about. Yeah. I'm a big, I only really like refrigerator pickle. I'm not a big fan of the cooking in the warming of the brine. The reason i don't like to warm the brine um is because it makes stuff soft you know what i mean like when we did when we would do the daikon radish and the carrot we would julie not we would they would be like quarter inch almost like french fry a little smaller than french fry right and we would heat the brine
Starting point is 00:18:28 put it in a big container in a restaurant right and then we would throw all our daikon radish and carrot into that brine it was still like warm throw the whole thing in the fridge let it do what it do and that was what worked best for us all right i gotta i gotta show you this reuters because this reuters because this Reuters is absolutely outrageous. I apologize for the coughing tonight, folks. I just threw the biggest link in the Element chat. I don't really
Starting point is 00:18:57 put links in this chat over here. So the Rio Grande has flooded in the south of Brazil it looks like According to our sources in Instagram Lula flies over Rio Grande do Sul As army races to rescue stranded families It's crazy looking
Starting point is 00:19:23 Because it's not like a rural area. I mean, I'm sure there are rural areas, but there's like, I mean, big ass skyscrapers and all everything around them is flooded. Wow. Here's a video. I don't even know if I want to see it. It's too close to bed for this kind of horror. Yeah, flooding is real, man. Flooding is legit. That is one of the reasons we plan for the bug out and the evacuation, right? A lot of people get wrapped up in the bug out, man. The bug out, fine. Good to have a bug out, but sometimes evacuation is enough. You know, when it comes to flood, that's what you want. You want a go button, a go now button that works, right?
Starting point is 00:20:14 I'm going. We're going to go now, and that's what we're going to do. We've got places picked out to go. It's very important. It's very important. A lot of people get wrapped up on that bug out. That end of the world post-apocalyptic zombies are closing in on me. Bug out idea. But a good old evacuation plan still keeps you and your family safe. Well, for our man Alexandra. Alexandra.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Alexandra. I'm very sorry, man, that you guys are going through that. It's terrible. Alexandro. Alexandro. I'm very sorry, man, that you guys are going through that. It's terrible. It's absolutely horrible. We just got our asses kicked by tornadoes in the Midwest there. Probably a good idea to own a canoe or a john boat if you live near an area that's even remotely at risk of flooding. Oh, yeah. I'll tell you what's cool is those inflatable kayaks, man.
Starting point is 00:21:12 Those inflatable kayaks, they really break down, you know, if you're tight on space or something like that. Travel well, you know, so if you're heading out of town. Oh, Dave Jones ordered two copies of The World of Ready. He said it, not me. I might as well show it off. There she is, The World of Ready. Oh, JB said that Oklahoma is getting it today here in America. Are they getting tornadoes, JB, or just floods?
Starting point is 00:21:52 Dave Jones typing. I need more water, man. Where's my staff? Somebody come save me. Throat's killing me. Somebody come save me. Throat's killing me. Okay, so Oklahoma's getting the,
Starting point is 00:22:11 getting tornadic supercells today. Yeah, it's a terrifying area to live, Tornado Alley. Garden Girl backs that up. Oklahoma and Kansas on high risk of tornadoes. This is fun. This is pretty fun, guys. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:22:27 Thank you on both sides. It's, you know, it's very cool. It's very weird to exist in split between the Instagram group and the PBN group, even though there is some overlap. Survival camp. Mr. K. Reynolds says, survival camp, no room left at campground. Is it worth attending if I have to stay at a nearby hotel? Are you talking about prepper camp? Mr. K. Reynolds, is this Mark?
Starting point is 00:23:02 Is this like Mark? If you know who I'm talking about, then you'll verify that it is Mark. If you're talking about Prepper Camp, there are. OK, cool. It is Mark. What's up, dude? How you doing? I don't know that I've seen you in here before, have I? Very cool Yeah, so Prepper Camp Two things that you could do The campsites, the legitimate campsites sell out quick You may want to call them up and ask them about a tent city spot
Starting point is 00:23:41 If you don't want to be piled up against other campers don't go to tent city because tent city is basically a drive-in road that that ends at the woods edge and then in that area like in that sort of long-sighted you is a bunch of campers if you like people and don't mind being close to people it's pretty cool scene um and you're only like i don't know 50 yards from all the action um i mean there's i don't want to make i don't want to write any checks i can't cash for you mark but message me on the uh message me through email or through element are you in element you should be in element it could because technically
Starting point is 00:24:35 i technically i have uh space for you at where i camp which is behind my tent. I can have you pour a little bit of coffee and make a claim that you're working the disaster coffee booth with me. You could sleep on the lake. You can be soaked in the morning like the rest of us losers down there. in the morning like the rest of us losers down there. Jay Panetto. So if you go to prepperbroadcasting.com and then click the live tab, okay? But Mark, definitely get the communication with me going because I'll forget. You know what I mean? Anyhow, if you go to prepperbroadcasting.com, JP, or anybody else in Instagram or anybody else listening at large to the podcast, PrepperBroadcasting.com, click the live show section there. And what you'll get is the ability to join our live chat. And that just gives you access to Element.
Starting point is 00:25:43 You see, we've got lambasted. There's a word for you. We got lambasted. Oh, JB, I'm sorry, Dave Jones says, get on the wait list so something might open up. We got lambasted by YouTube. We got lambasted by Discord We got lambasted by Discord This was like 2019 even
Starting point is 00:26:07 This was like pre-pandemic I think even Might have been 2020 I don't remember exactly The best thing that ever happened to me though We got pitched off of those platforms And we decided to go our own way You know what I mean? And our buddy Chin And we decided to go our own way. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:26:32 And our buddy Chin, who's on the Sunday Night Live show, The Changing Earth, said, Hey, check this program, check this software, check this chat room thing out, Element it's called. And we were checking out Element because it was an encrypted sort of Discord. And we wanted a place for everybody. The people, just like the people at Instagram, the people that come into the Element chat and the PBN family at large, all our members are over at Element. All of our great listeners, well, a lot of our great listeners are over at Element. They have so much knowledge. It's insanity. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:27:08 Like you can't hold on to it all. So over there we have a variety of chat rooms. You come to the live chat, hang out with us, don't say anything too stupid, and I'll give you access to the rest of the rooms. You know what I mean? And we got a lot, man. we got a lot of cool stuff we've got gardening homesteading uh we got our live show room we just added the pbn family cookbook so that's just a room for recipes uh we've got u.s economy and business news farm and livestock news, deal finders. Oh, that's right.
Starting point is 00:27:48 That's right. Dave Jones hit it on the head. That's what it was. Prepping projects, prepper-related events. We've got our World War III bunker over there where we were talking all Ukraine and Russia when that kicked off. Shortages, health events, ham study group. I mean, we got it all. We got it all.
Starting point is 00:28:08 Take my word for it. Yeah, in 2019, no, in the early, in January 2020, I attended a gigantic Second Amendment rally here in Richmond to stand up to Governor Ralph Northam, who was prepared to throw myself and every other AR-15 owning person into prison by July if we didn't hand over our AR-15s. And if you remember, there was a massive protest here in Richmond in 2020, right before the pandemic. And, you know, it got overshadowed by, it got massively overshadowed by the pandemic. And it got outshined by the January 6th, which really paled in comparison
Starting point is 00:28:56 to what we did in Richmond. Like what we did in Richmond was magic. It was so amazing. It was like 10 out, five or 10 out, I think it was, tops. It was really cold for Richmond that day. And I'm telling you right now, man, the streets of Richmond were lined with so many people, and people were singing the national anthem and America the Beautiful, and the whole street would start singing it. Everybody, like 40,000 people were singing it, you know what I mean? And it was crazy. And Alex Jones was driving this big-ass truck around the outside of the whole event. It was crazy, dude.
Starting point is 00:29:43 I remember walking up to get a coffee to try to warm up coming back yeah it was it was amazing i mean you go watch some youtube videos i got a little bit of video i think no i think i only got podcasts but you can watch youtube videos of that event and see and everybody outside the gate was packing. That was the craziest part. Like I went inside the gate to get close to the speakers and to report to back to PBN about what was going on. But when you went outside, everybody was slung. Everybody was carrying, you know what I mean? It was, and no, nothing, no problems. There wasn't a problem to be had. Nobody broke into any buildings. Nothing. No problems. There wasn't a problem to be had. Nobody broke into any buildings. Nobody did shit. They just gathered together and had what was an actual protest. I mean, it was an actual it was an actual freedom loving America loving protest where people were literally by the tens of thousands singing the national anthem. And it was stirring. It was stirring, and it had to be to some degree intimidating.
Starting point is 00:30:51 You know what I mean? There was no violence. There was no threat of violence. But there was 30,000 men probably on the outside who were armed and were just standing there. Now, there was no January 6th move the fences were coming in mentality at all. But I think it was a beautiful representation of an American protest because it was a reminder of like, here we are. You know, we don't want violence. but here we are because the event came, people came from the whole entire nation to that event.
Starting point is 00:31:34 That house bill drove people so crazy that people from all over the country came to that event, and I'm so glad I went. I am so glad that I went. We should have the very similar things elsewhere in this nation as a reminder because it was great. Dave Jones in the chat room says they cleaned up trash and the cops thanked them. They put up ES and no one took them down. Yeah, I remember that. I remember leaving out of there and seeing people with trash bags on the outside
Starting point is 00:32:06 There were protesters That brought rolls of trash bags And cleaned up after themselves Now just put that in one pile And then look at what's been left over At Camp Gaza over there in Columbia Over there in NYU. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:27 It's a different kind of person. It just is what it is. You know what I mean? It's just a different kind of person. Yeah, save the 2A event, man. That was a beautiful time. It was cold as hell. But worth it.
Starting point is 00:32:41 Big time worth it. No doubt about it. Big time worth it. No doubt about it. Let's talk about our sponsors real quick while we're on the subject of 2A. You like that, JP Camp Gaza over there? So we're talking 2A. I got to tell you about our newest sponsor. Incredible opportunity. They're a company called Ammo Squared. Okay? And what Ammo Squared does is handles your ammo purchasing for you. It's what they do.
Starting point is 00:33:16 You know what I mean? They basically set you up on whatever kind of budget you want. $10 a month. $1,000 a month, whatever kind of lunatic you are when it comes to ammo purchasing. You tell them how much you want to spend a month. You go in and you tell them what calibers you want. They've got a massive list of calibers to choose from. See, they have a giant warehouse full of ammo.
Starting point is 00:33:42 That's what they have. Smart business model this day and age. What kind of business can I run where I have a giant warehouse full of ammo? So what they do is they let you choose your budget amount, how much, and you can make it whatever you want. What calibers you want. I've got five different calibers that I'm feeding budget money into right now with AmmoSquared.com. And every single month, boom, they pull money, and that money goes into those calibers. And, you know, you can even break the money up by percentage.
Starting point is 00:34:21 It's crazy. You can say, I want 50% into 5.56, 25% into 9mm, 25% into 22 or whatever, 12-gauge shotgun, whatever you want. And every time they pull, you know, whatever your budget is per month, or you could do it per week, whatever you want. You could do it every paycheck, however you want to do it. You set it up the way you want. They pull that out. They go into the warehouse, grab that ammo, stack it into your pile. When you tell them to ship the ammo, they ship the ammo to you.
Starting point is 00:34:53 They can hold it. You can stockpile it. If you save up to $250 worth of ammo, they'll ship it to you for free. So that's what I'm going to do, right? I'm just going to save up, stack up a bunch of ammo and then ship it to me when I'm at the free mark. Go to AmmoSquared.com. Now here's the best part of the whole deal. You go to AmmoSquared.com slash PBN. AmmoSquared.com slash PBN. AmmoSquared.com slash PBN. Sign up on your terms, your budget.
Starting point is 00:35:27 It's month to month. There's no contract. The dude, Dan, the owner, Dan, is the real deal. Okay? He is the realest of the real deals. No bullshit. This is this guy's thing. You know, you sign up.
Starting point is 00:35:43 You stop when you want. You put as much money into it as you want. You pull out when you want you know all that kind of his only rule is like you got to make a case he's not shipping you three rounds of uh five five six in a plastic baggie you know what i mean you got to make a case but other than that sign up when do it as long as you want get out of it when you want. Money dries up. Something happens. You're out of Ammo Squared.
Starting point is 00:36:08 There's no need for you to be on there forever. Go to AmmoSquared.com slash PBN, okay? Slash PBN. And you get 75 rounds of 9mm for free. Yeah, 75 rounds of 9mm for free right off the bat. That's before you put any budget in before you do anything. I mean, it doesn't get any easier. It doesn't get any better, right? I don't even have to think about buying ammo now. It's a, it's a complete chunk of my prepping worry that has been offloaded onto Ammo Squared.
Starting point is 00:36:50 Every caliber that I need for the types of guns that I own, boom. It's stockpiling, stockpiling, stockpiling. Then I click ship, it comes right to me. The one thing I could tell you guys, okay, with very few exceptions, when we get a sponsor, number one, I use the sponsor. And number two, the sponsor makes my prepping way better. What's up, Junebug? That's just how it works, you know? We don't have any sponsors that don't make me more prepared. Every list of sponsors that I have on this freaking soundboard next to me
Starting point is 00:37:30 has improved my life and my preparedness. That's how we do business. That's the kind of sponsors we're after. And we've been blessed, man. We really have. Great, great people. So yeah, ammo squared slash PBN, check them out. Don't be silly. Get yourself 75 rounds of, of nine millimeter. You got it. Yeah. Yeah. Dave Jones in chat says just over the last year, I got land
Starting point is 00:38:01 from one of our sponsors. I got a solar generator from one of our sponsors. And by the way, I bought all that stuff. You know what I mean? I didn't get any of it for free. But whatever. It's the best. I don't know. There's a thing in prepping, guys.
Starting point is 00:38:22 If you're all in and you're all in, and if you're all in and you're all in and then and if you're all in and you've been all in for a while, these things just it's like compounding interest. In my yard right now, I have multitudes of compounding interest. You watch my video from earlier this morning. Earlier this morning, there's a tidal wave of raspberries coming from my ass in that video. Because it's years and years, you know. I planted a little stick, a little black hawk raspberry stick with bare roots of 10 years ago. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:39:01 In the dirt, behind the fence. It's taken over the back, moved up into the yard, and, you know, what's better than, there's almost nothing better than going out in a month or two and standing at that big bunch of bushes with my 8-year-old and eating raspberries. Just talking and eating raspberries just talking and eating you know what i mean right out there forget about bill gates raspberries forget about uh
Starting point is 00:39:31 mrna raspberries in the market you know that's just how it works new world viking what's up i haven't been paying much attention to the instagram chat sorry Sorry, I'm yakking. I thank you guys. A lot of people showing up. A lot of people showing up over the Instagram side. But then again, the PBN chat's looking impressive, too. We got a strong cast.
Starting point is 00:40:02 Hey, Mark, don't worry about it, man. Wherever you're comfortable, buddy. I just wanted to cross the streams a la Dan Aykroyd in Ghostbusters. You know what I mean? I wanted to see what would happen when worlds collided. And it's been good. We got Jaden Crump with us. We got Wagner Santoso with us. good we got jayden crump with us we got wagner santoso with us these guys uh they don't get a taste of me for an hour at a time a lot of times i'm with them for about 10-15 minutes when i can't
Starting point is 00:40:34 over at instagram so i thought it'd be fun to do an hour long and hang up hang on hang out with them. I just saw a weird name I'm not used to seeing in the element chat. Oh, no, here it is. Is Kyle the Hoss a new person? Or am I a bad purveyor here? purveyor here. What else? Compounding interest in prepping. It's 942. We could probably round this baby out. It's been a blast. Dave Jones, the NBC guy, you're supposed to be in bed. You said you were getting out at 930. It's 942, man. It's bad Santa now There you go Okay Good Good deal man I know you need your rest
Starting point is 00:41:28 Dave Jones is Homesteader extraordinaire And that's like One of a thousand titles He owns We love Dave What else What else you guys want to talk about
Starting point is 00:41:44 Anything else My voice is going It's about had it What else? What else you guys want to talk about? Anything else? My voice is going It's about had it I'm going to go drink another cup of coffee At 10 o'clock at night like an idiot And be up till like 1 o'clock Feeling like crap You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:41:59 But it's been fun I appreciate you guys I'm glad I'm glad so many people came out to the PBN chat, man. What a great group in there. Man, Dave Jones, Jore, JB, Mark, Marky Mark with us. Yeah, that's a good time, man. That's a good crew.
Starting point is 00:42:22 So, the truth of it all is, folks, on both sides of the ball, there's really no way around it. If you want to get your fangs really deep into prepping, all the information in the world can't make up for time. And that might sound like a downer. That might sound rough. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:42:48 But the reality is prepping takes time. It really does. It takes time. And around 8 to 10 years in is when I really started seeing what I wanted to see. And that's scary for somebody just starting out is when I really started seeing what I wanted to see.
Starting point is 00:43:07 And that's scary for somebody just starting out because you might be looking at 2032. And the way the world is right now, that's unnerving. But I will tell you this, that's a hell of a lot better than waiting until 2025 to get started. It's a hell of a lot better than waiting until 2030 to get started, you know? So no more excuses. You know what I mean? No more excuses. And most importantly, get nuts. What do I mean by that? You pull up to my house in the middle of the day, there might be pit bulls in the backyard, chickens in the front yard, some crazy dude
Starting point is 00:43:51 outside with an axe, you know what I mean, so you need to come out of your shell a bit, you need to come out of your comfort zone a bit you need to stop worrying about what people think about you and uh you know you you gotta get rocking you gotta get living the life you know what i mean living the life that you want to live and i'm telling you right now like i don't care who you are. You come out of your house, right? And your kids are playing out back. And you got no shirt on and you look good and you have an axe in your hand and you're going to go split wood and it's hot out. And the garden is blowing up all over the place.
Starting point is 00:44:46 And there's some pit bulls running around chickens clucking around like you take a breath and look around at that and you're like this is the way to do it you know what i mean like this is the way to do it to hell with everybody and that's what it has to be it has to be to hell with everybody because all my life people have said, what are you doing this for? What are you doing that for? Why do you have a wood-burning fireplace? Why don't you just get a gas one? It's easier.
Starting point is 00:45:11 Why do you have a generator? What do you need a generator for? Years, years I've endured this nonsense, and what do you have chickens for? They're dirty and smelly and loud. Not really. But I can tell you right now, life is great, okay?
Starting point is 00:45:34 And life is continually great because, you know, after a while, prepping will seep into your day-to-day. Prepping will become your lifestyle. Homesteading will become your lifestyle if you let it in. If you let it in and if you're brave enough to tell people, this is who I am and this is what I do, you know, this is what I want to do. I had a third bedroom and now it's filled up with preps And there's a padlock on it And that might seem weird to you
Starting point is 00:46:09 And we're making mead in the pantry And that might seem weird to you But whatever It's who I am It's what I'm doing I do all kinds of weird stuff guys I do all kinds of weird prepping stuff And I also do all kinds of weird stuff
Starting point is 00:46:22 That my people The PBN family even some of them are like why do you do that you know because i'm living my life you know what i mean like there's a list of things that i want to do and it doesn't have anything to do with them or you or you know what i'm saying me my family you got to find that freedom for yourself. There's nobody in your way, you know, and if they are in your way and they're that much of a problem because you want to start living a self-reliant lifestyle,
Starting point is 00:46:55 then you just have to call their bluff. You got to play chicken with them, maybe literally, you know. You just got to start living that life you start living that life and most of the time look most people ain't good are not for action anyway they might say things like oh i don't you whatever you know and just say okay well we'll see jp and chat says i remember the first time i got ridiculed for storing food some people think it's such a stupid idea blows my mind yeah that's what i mean one fundamental thing and then i'll get off is uh if it helps you sleep at night it's key right we live in a world where anxiety is everywhere all the time.
Starting point is 00:47:48 Because a large part of that is because people are afraid to do the things that would cool them off. They're afraid to do the things that would limit anxiety. Oh, my God, I'm so terrified of this thing. But I'm also terrified of doing the thing that would mitigate it. Right? Like, I'm terrified of the big, scary world world with big scary people in it who could hurt me. But I'm also terrified to carry a gun because my girlfriend doesn't like them. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:48:17 Okay. Then you have to sit her down and say, look, we should shoot guns. It is scary. Guns are scary. Guns are supposed to be scary. You know what I mean? Of course, if you don't know how to use a gun, anytime you pick something up and you're like,
Starting point is 00:48:32 oh, I could kill somebody with this, that's scary. That's why you're supposed to practice with them. That's why you're supposed to practice good gun safety. But the moment you carry a gun, the world gets a lot less scary. The moment you store food, the world gets a lot less scary because you can look at your kids sleeping in their bed at night and go, well, shit, no matter how bad it gets, at least we got food, right? And a means to cook it. I don't know. It's a simple way. You know what I mean? It really is a simple way.
Starting point is 00:49:07 It's just figuring out what's important to you and doing it. And forget about those who stand in the way. They'll likely make room for you. Not many people run away, you know? All right, folks. I appreciate you. James Walton with Preppers Live. Thanks so much for joining me. Check out pbnfamily.com if you.
