Starting point is 00:00:08 Welcome in the Red Beacon Daily News. It is June 15, 26. I am your host, James Walton, and today's show is brought to you by Disastercoffee.com. On June 14th, the U.S. and Iran announced a memorandum of understanding, mediated by Pakistan and others, aimed at formally ending the conflict that began in February a signaling, my fault, a signing, is experiencing. expected around June 19th in Switzerland. Key elements reportedly includes cessation of hostilities across fronts, including Lebanon, reopening the strait of Hormuz to shipping, some sanctions relief and a release of frozen assets to Iran. Now, that part I don't like. I'm not a big fan of the money to Iran. We've seen that happen in the past.
Starting point is 00:01:02 I'd like to get rid of that in the stipulations. Trump's publicly stated the war is effectively over. We've heard that for months. Caviot remains. Details are still being clarified. Seems there are things on either side that, you know, one side says that's going to be in it. The other side says that's going to be in it.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Yada, yada, yada, right? Look, it's what we're dealing with, right? This is the whole point of Red Beacon Media. It's to bring you this news, but to also remind you that, you know, you are far beyond this war. And I'm starting to wonder if the mentality is as important, if not more important, than the things themselves.
Starting point is 00:01:51 You know, in other words, the mentality of rebellion and renaissance, the mentality of self-reliance and independence. Because, you know, you can have, the garden can grow, right? You can have the things. You can even do the things. but the mentality is so important and what happens to you after you read a story like this what you think about right
Starting point is 00:02:14 whether the deal holds or not we've seen how quickly the global energy flows and prices can be you know just demolished right build local resilience if you know what's good for you right if you know what's good for you let's get into some some devastating AI news.
Starting point is 00:02:39 If you think it can be hacked, or it might be hacked in the future, you're right. Your AI assistant here. We've got a bit of a good news bad news situation. This is a wild story. Crypto tokens 50% wipeout show scale of AI hacking threat.
Starting point is 00:03:10 For a long time, I've mentioned AI, there's nothing safe. You know what I mean? Nothing is safe in terms of digital. There's just nothing safe anymore. It's impossible to be safe. And we're just at the baby stages here. Really a time to consider what finance and money and, you know, hard assets really look like.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Very scared for retirement accounts and such, you know. The Great Depression was a different story. the next depression might look something like this. When Eli Ben Sassin helped create the Z-Cash cryptocurrency nearly a decade ago, the cryptographer worried about human adversaries, but he didn't expect machine intelligence. Zcash used Anthropics Claude Opus 4.8 to uncover a critical vulnerability that had gone undetected for more than four years.
Starting point is 00:04:05 After Zcash disclosed the flaw in June 4th, the token which traded at far higher levels just weeks earlier, tumbled about 50% as traders reassess the security of one of crypto's most prominent privacy networks. You do understand that if it can be hacked, it will be hacked. And that goes for everything that you, you know, everything that you have on your body, everything that you have in your body. Remember that. You have to remember that.
Starting point is 00:04:36 I mean, it's, through the rest of our life, times in the lives of our children, people are going to be cyborging even further. They're going to be borging to the nth degree. You put a robot eye in there that helps you see really good. Just understand if it's connected to anything or can connect to anything, it will be hacked, right? Interesting. Interesting to say the least. What should be one of the biggest stories of America's 250th anniversary comes in our good news. segment today from American essence over at the epic times
Starting point is 00:05:17 everyone should read this story I will link to it in the description of the podcast no I won't because you probably can't read it unless you're a subscriber the neglected cornerstone the Bible and the founding of the American Republic how scripture shaped the language law and liberty of the American experiment if we're going to talk about anything
Starting point is 00:05:41 these 250 years in I want to thank you Thank Jeff Minnick for putting together an amazing article. I may read the whole thing over at the Prepper Broadcasting Network on my Reading the Newspaper and Riffing Show, because I'm sure this one will make the actual hard copy newspaper. Professor Daniel Driesback, author of the book Reading the Bible with the Founding Fathers, which I'm going to buy. I've never heard of it until today, but I'm buying that book.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Has written extensively online about connections between the Bible and the founding of the American Republic. In his essay for the McLean Collection, the Hebrew Bible and political culture of the American founders, drives back quotes several founders who wrote of the connection between scripture and good government. For example, in a letter to Dr. Benjamin Rush, another signer of the Declaration of Independence, John Adams called the Bible, quote, the most Republican book in the world. His contemporary John Dickinson agreed writing, The Bible is the most Republican book that has ever been that ever was written. And when they say Republican, they're talking about a republic, not the Republican Party.
Starting point is 00:06:53 And it is Deuteronomy that most completely affirms these surprising declarations. Included in this last book of the, I can't say that word. The first five books of the Bible are the Ten Commandments, summing up the Exodus, the concept of the covenant in a framework of a republic. The American Deuteronomy. The American Deuteronomy. Is this a good news story? It is a great news story, right?
Starting point is 00:07:19 We could go on to read about the American covenant. Describe God's special covenant relationship, not only with the children of Israel, but with them being the rest of the Pentateuch, pentatouc. I don't know how to say it. The idea of a covenant with God, particularly dear to the followers of John Calvin, is an old and very American way of looking at the country
Starting point is 00:07:43 and its special standing in the world. In 1630, for example, Governor John Winthrop declared, for we must consider, quote, that we shall be a city upon a hill. The eyes of all people are upon us. In his farewell address to the nation, some 350 years later, Ronald Reagan employed the shining city on a hill metaphor once again.
Starting point is 00:08:08 You know, you look around the country and you wonder, how have we lost our virtue? How have we become a nation of such sin and fallen for the communist trap? Right, here we go, another socialist is set to come in power, possibly in Washington, D.C. And I can tell you, if you love your country, if you love your country, if you love your family, if you love your God, the truest of enemies is the socialist communist takeover that has been at work in this nation. for the better part of what 80 years 70 at least years it's real it crushes the family it crushes god it crushes prosperity in the name of uh and it does so in the most divisive means possible
Starting point is 00:09:01 you know whenever you see white versus black on social media i want you to understand that that we are in a divided time and in a divided nation at the moment but it is the making of 70 years of of both races, and not to mention that there are great hands of power, communist power. And I don't mean China, Russia. They're in it too, but I'm talking right here in this country, the enemy within, who want to destroy race relations. Because it's the quickest way to collapse our society, and that's what you're watching. You're watching a bunch of dupes who are falling for the propaganda to hate one another.
Starting point is 00:09:41 That's what you're watching. Useful idiots. So be very careful, you know. If you feel like you're being programmed to hate black people or if you feel like you're being programmed to hate white people, you are. It doesn't matter if it's your parents who tell you it. It's your favorite radio host, your favorite professor, whatever it is. You are. You are being programmed.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Rebellion and Renaissance, right? You've got to step outside of that programming and ask yourself, what's come, what is to become of me and my nation if we continue this way? What is the point of all this? What is the point of all of this? Are we rushing towards some sort of civil war? What is it? And pick the Bible up.
Starting point is 00:10:24 Do yourself a favor. Find the gratitude for living in the greatest country on the planet. Pick the Bible up and get back to it because it's, you know, it truly is incredible. Offline technology for uncertain times. You, this rush of technology. is untested, but very interesting. I want to introduce you to Ezra, the Emergency Survival Response Assistant.
Starting point is 00:10:53 Okay, Ezra is offline technology for uncertain times. This is our prepper tech segment. A really cool little Chromebook-esque laptop. G-TAC is what the hardware is called, professionally refurbished, rugged laptop, configured for offline preparedness, local AI tools navigation, translation and emergency knowledge access.
Starting point is 00:11:14 as each ESRA system is individually refurbished, tested, and configured. This is another one of those really cool AI devices, you know what I mean? And the ESRA is cool. It comes with an AI, I'm sorry, with a Faraday bag. It comes with two batteries, and the device itself is configured with the ESRA artificial intelligence. Now, when I talk to you about these things, I'm not. giving you a recommendation. These guys are not sponsors. Esra is not, nothing like that. You know what I mean? This preper tech segment is literally born out of the fact that these things are popping up all over. I'd love to test them all. I really would love to test each and every one of them and really put it to the test the way somebody like me can.
Starting point is 00:12:05 You know, most people probably wouldn't know how to really test this stuff. But I could definitely press it and I could find where it's strong and where it's weak. And I would love to do that. So I'm going to reach out to Esser and see if they'll send me one of these G-Tac pieces of hardware with their software on it. And remember, the cool thing about these is they're completely offline. You know? I don't know how they update. I don't know, you know, that whole thing. But they are something.
Starting point is 00:12:33 They are this new, you know, large language model research-based AI tech in the EMP protected. shell is sweet there's no doubt about it you know what i mean it is sweet and i think one of the missing pieces with this technology is the personalization you know what i mean so meet the esra okay meet the esra so on our way out the door as usual we're going to uh look to the greats we're going to look to the great american transcendentalist himself ralph waldo emerson I'm in the most part as we usher in July. I just, you know, I just think it's so important. These guys are so important.
Starting point is 00:13:25 If we are going to talk about a new American Renaissance, then we have to understand the first American Renaissance. And what it did and where it came from, and I want you to feel it. I want you to feel it the way that I feel it and understand it the way that I understand it. So here's a bit from his essay, nature, circa 1836. In the woods we return to reason and faith. If you're a survivalist of any
Starting point is 00:13:53 kind or bushcraft practitioner, camp or whatever, overlander, you know this is true. In the woods we return to reason and faith. There I feel that nothing can befall me in life. No disgrace, no calamity leaving me my eyes, which nature cannot repair. Standing on the bare ground, my head bathed by the blithe air and uplifted into infinite space all mean egotism vanishes I become a transparent eyeball I am nothing I see all
Starting point is 00:14:26 the currents of the universal being circulate through me I am part of particle I am part or particle of God I mean if you've ever felt that sort of repair of nature that It is quintessential to the American experience and you have to understand if you're having trouble with what it is that we've created over these 250 years and you spend the majority of your time inside, locked away in an office, locked away in a room, behind a computer screen, inside a building, far away from the wild places in the woods.
Starting point is 00:15:11 I mean, to appreciate what it is, this great continent and the founding documents and the minds of the people who founded the nation and those who died to protect it over the years, you simply can't pull out the woods in the wild places from America and have it be the same thing. And unfortunately, there are lots of people, particularly those in big cities who are living that way. They're living a concretized life, right? And where do you see the most heinous and the most terrible footage come out of? Big cities. We need the tonic of the woods. That was Thoreau.
Starting point is 00:15:53 That was his quote. So it is an inextricable part. And if you were going to do anything on July 4th, if you feel like one of these mice in the cocaine experiment, if you will. If you're going to do anything for July 4th to really appreciate the country in 250 years later, If you're trapped in this concretized life where you go into meetings with pressed blouse on and, you know, the right vocabulary in order to survive, then head to the woods and wild places. Head to the woods and wild places. And I think you'll be reminded of not just how big and beautiful our nation is and what it means to be free. But, you know, you're placing it all.
Starting point is 00:16:42 your place in it all. Red Beacon Daily News is back, folks. Brought to you by Disastercoffee.com, caffeinate with a purpose. Look forward to a week of Red Beacon Daily News updates. I cannot wait to get back in the saddle after a week off. Hope you enjoyed today's show. And I will talk to you soon.
Starting point is 00:17:12 See it. Thank you.
