Red Beacon Daily News July 17, 2026. Coming to you from Code Red Richmond, Virginia, in the haze of the Minnesota wildfires, Minnesota Canadian wildfires that are, that brought their smoke all the way down here into Richmond, Virginia, and it's visible. It's tangible. There's a taste and a scent in the air.

And it's a real thing, and it's the top story today at Red Beacon Daily News. I want to look at it all. I want to talk about these wildfires because there's a lot of speculation, a lot of spiraling, you know, how did it start, why did start, what is it? Is it different? Is it new? Is it strange? The direction of the wind, at the very least, is different, right? We live in two worlds anymore.

It feels like, what do you see with your own eyes, and what do you hear, and what do you believe? right? We don't believe our senses as much as we used to. It's a shame. It is a shame. Canada's 2026 wildfires season includes fires sparked by lightning, human activity, and ongoing dry conditions across multiple provinces. Canada reported 859 active wildfires. 3,547 fires this year and roughly 2.38 million hectares burned so far this year.

How did the fire start? Some Canadian wildfires were sparked by lightning, while others caused by human activity remain under investigation. Now, this is important. This is important. Was it started because of climate change? Well, listen to this. Of the 28 new fires reported July 16th,

Canada classified 15 of the 28 as human caused, 8 as natural and 5 is undetermined And then you're asking yourself You know what's going on with the wildfires Why are there so many wildfires in Canada Officials are citing drought conditions And lightning activity Ontario reported dozens of new wildfires

Starts Most caused by lightning Multiple provinces are dealing with active fires at the same time You look at the map of how much of Canada's on fire It's kind of crazy Canada's reported, now here's the real hard data, right? 3,500 wildfires so far in 2026, a total that is in line largely with historical averages, right? So why does smoke here?

Smoke's never been here like this before in Richmond in the northeast. I mean, it has been in recent past, but not, you know. More importantly, what's the average, right? We're at 3,500 wildfires so far in 20,000. 26. There's a B here trying to sting me. You come out, I thought you guys didn't like smoke. Leave me B. Canada's five-year average is 3,537 fires by this point in the season. So, you know, we're right here. Compared with 3,484 reported through July 15th, however, hundreds of fires remain active across the country, including 859 active wildfires reported. Sorry, it's a busy morning.

It is something. It is something. 100 degrees, poor air quality. There's a lot going on. You know, a lot to consider. But it is happening. It is coming from the wildfires. It's wild, man.

Trump, let's see, from the Epic Times, of course, Nathan Ward, Chishishol. senior reporter, President Donald Trump in a prime time address on July 16th announced the declassification of information that he said reveals large-scale Chinese hacking of the American voter information. Over a period of years, quote, started during 2020 election cycle, the People's Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history, resulting in China's illicit acquisition of 220 million U.S. voter files, he said. That information includes names, addresses, phone numbers, political party preferences. You probably got it from TikTok, if I had to guess. I'm going to have to mute the chat here. We're not going to be able to do this show. There we go.

That should mute the dings for a bit. The information includes an accompanying transparency report from the White House stated that China gained access to the voter data role across 18 states, one to classified document reviewed by the Epic Times, detailed a PRC-linked actors-alleged use of commercial. website to acquire voter data from six U.S. states. Trump further said that the members of the intelligence community sought to suppress data on China's attempt to influence America's elections. Now, that is very interesting.

What does that make them? right that is something these declosures reveal election system so broken and so vulnerable that no one could possibly defend it it's not defensible trump said tens of millions of voters data in eighteen states have been bought
