I'm watching all these people.
My wife remarked on it.

But, you know, what was most –my kids, they both work, okay?
Nothing severe.

But they both have a responsibility.
This is not a chore.
They have a responsibility outside of the house to neighbors, and they make money from it.

And you already recognize the vast difference in people who work and people who've never worked.
And what's really scary, look out onto all those people in the crowd.
Look at the sort of problems with the youth in America and the struggles they're having.
And I am ever grateful for being in the hospitality industry and really working hard.
Really working to please another person.
You know what I mean?
I mean the customer in the dining room.
Because I can see what happens when people don't.
And look, I mean, you're going to do a State of the Union, you have to talk about the people.
That's an essential.
You're going to do a State of the Union, you have to talk about what's going on in the country and the people.
You have to talk about the demographics a bit, right?

and basically did his exit speech.
And he emphasized the fact that he was in the Oval Office.
And when he said that, that made me think, you might not be in the Oval Office.
I don't know what that means.
But, I mean, it was really weird.
You watch the video and you go like, here I sit in the Oval Office behind the Resolute desk and I see various pictures in front of me and I thought, you know,
the best way for this guy to go out would be to be in front of a green screen
and to be lying about where he is.
I mean, that probably will be the conspiracy of tomorrow, right?

whenever I write a book, I never feel like it's enough.
I never feel like the book itself is enough.

So I always feel like I have to add bonuses.
Like I read through the book and I'm like,
oh, it's pretty good, but I need to add bonuses.
And one of the bonuses I added to this,
which was a web series,
then like a written web series turned into a book,
was I went through the Quran and I went through the Bible.
And I tried to find messages that were similar.
And I did that.
Then throughout all of Tom Locke,
I think it's still available on Amazon,

It seems like we're jumping from one mad, mad, mad world to the next.
You know, from the moment, you could argue it was before this too, but from the moment the bullet cried out in the evening in Butler, Pennsylvania, we have been going from, you know, succession, a succession of just crazy things.

It seems like we're in an asteroid field and we just keep getting hit.

whenever we're in a, in a tumultuous time like this, I read this stuff when I wake up and I
talk about it and whatever. I try to think about the, the regular people. I try to think about the regular people. I try to think about the average American, you know, and what are they capable of absorbing?
Because here in this country, one of the things about the state of the United States that we have to understand
is that we, many people in this country, pay so much in taxes
that it's reached levels that are kind of unbearable.
And what makes it even more unbearable is how the tax money is being used.
And for a guy like me, I piss and moan about it, but I shouldn't.
Because I don't bear the brunt of the sacrifice.
I'm a dad who gets to hang with his kids all day. It's summer break. You know what I mean?
I get to hang with my kids all day. And even my wife, who works very hard, is in a position where she's even capable of working from home.
She's capable of manipulating her time in a way that her life can be fulfilling.
In a way that, you know, people in high-profile jobs and even just like retail can't.
You know what I mean?
and even just like retail can't, you know what I mean? So I don't even really feel the brunt of what it must be like, but I'm a very empathetic guy and I feel, I try to put myself in the shoes
of an American who works 80 hours a week, 70, 60 hours a week, sees his wife and his children in
passing, you know what I mean? Touches base with his kids long enough to, you know,
get a handful of things to enjoy and a reason to go on
and then, you know, a laundry list of things to worry about
and also to know, like, I hope I have enough time this weekend
to have quality time with these people in my life
to deal with these things, to get my daughter on the right
path and tell my son he's great and try to bump his confidence, you know what I mean?
All the while knowing I got to go back to work tomorrow early and I won't get home until after After six. And then, you know, in that post-dinner catching of my breath is my life.
And the taxes that they take away from me would make a huge difference.
But instead we're using them to fight Russia and fight Palestine and give people money in America who do absolutely nothing. I mean, literally, you know, there's several states and cities
around the country that are giving money to people just to try out. Just try out. What
would it be like if Americans got $500 a month? Let's see what universal basic income would
look like. Don't mind the fact that we're taking it out of your pocket.
And I'm telling you right now, you know, if anyone in government cared even remotely about people, real people and their struggles, they would say we're going to get this inflation thing taken care of. And in the meantime, we're going to get this inflation thing taken care of.
And in the meantime, we're going to cut taxes so that you don't have to feel it.
We're going to feel it.
It's true.
Government workers might feel it.
They might have to get private jobs.
We may have to have layoffs here in the government.
We may have to have layoffs.
We may have to shoulder a greater burden.
But we're going to, you know, let some steam off because we know you need the money.
But fundamentally, PBN family, here's the darkest part of it all
in terms of the American condition.

Years ago, I had this realization driving home from work,
listening to stories about the border, of all things,
listening to stories about the border,
and being a young dad and thinking about the future and saying to myself,
I feel like a lab rat.
I feel like this border thing is an experiment
And I have no control over it
And I'm just a part of the experiment
What happens when you let X amount of people in a country
That don't speak the language and don't have any skills
And amidst them are
You know, drug dealers and monsters.
What happens to America?
What happens to the American people?
And you come to the realization that watching our representatives, which no longer represent us,
watching our representatives do their thing, you realize, like, the way the government's run now
is one great big experiment
involving the American people.
And I know it is called an experiment in freedom,
but it's not that kind of experiment.
It's the kind of experiment where you do crazy shit
and the people will see what happens to them.
We'll just have to wait around and see what happens.
You want to keep punching Vladimir Putin in the nose?
Keep punching him.
Let's see what happens.
Let's see how the American people react to mushroom clouds in the horizon, on the horizon.

You know, being a state of the union, that's kind of what the deal is.
To touch base on the things that are affecting Americans today.
The political sort of situation that we all face.
And, you know, how does it all turn around? I don't know.
I'm not concerned with that. We're going to do our best to elect people and put people in place
all over the country. The PBN family does their part. There's no doubt about it.
And see what we can do, you know. I do feel like the tide has turned a bit in this country.
It's hard to feel that way after you see how many thousands of people showed up to burn effigies of Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, D.C.
And you see how deadly brainwashed the women are who got up on stage.
I'm going to give you my honest review of the speakers
I spent about 10-15 minutes watching some of the speakers
The allies of Palestine
The Palestinian saviors here in America
The ones who are supposed to change the minds of the politicians
First of all
They did nothing to stop Netanyahu showing up at the Capitol and doing his thing.
Yes, they showed up in great numbers and so on, but, you know, Congress did their thing.
Israel's going to get more money.
They're going to get more wealth.
Just stop.
You know, what do you think you're going to do outside with your raising the Palestinian flag?
You think you're going to win the American people over by raising the Palestinian flag in the nation's capital?
What was most unnerving and almost comical was, and also very sad, was the delusional people out there today in DC.
They were so delusional.
And listening to them and listening to the weak women talk on the microphone and say things that were,
I don't know, just old and tired adages
wrapped up with Palestinian buzzwords and such,
what I really felt deeply,
I don't always feel like the rah-rah conservative right-wing thing.
You know, a lot of times my intuition or my gut or whatever it is feels something altogether
different from the popular feeling or whatever. And what I felt was empathy for
the Palestinian people because I realized that if this is their fighting force, if this is their representation here in the United States, then they're doomed.
Now, I didn't feel empathy for them allowing evil to live amongst them.
There are repercussions for that.
It's biblical.

You know, you can't willingly allow evil to traipse around the streets of your town, neighborhood, and not expect bad things to happen.

You can't allow demons to take up root in your neighborhood and not expect awful things to happen.
You can't allow Hamas to put bombs underneath schools and expect it to go well for you.
But I did feel bad because I realized that this group of losers believes they're going to change something for the Palestinian people.
And if the Palestinian people look to America for hope, then I'm sure they gravitate towards this group of sort of feminist trans lunatics who are also pro-Palestinian somehow.

At one point, I was even listening to the Palestinian Feminist Collective,
which I thought was just adorable.
It was actually comedic.
When they came up with their banner and masks on,
of course they had COVID masks on, right?
Nothing says empowerment like cover your mouth and don't breathe. But nothing says freedom like a COVID mask on a woman, right?
I heard this speaker and then a speaker after her, also a woman from the Bronx,
explain to the crowd that, and this is bonkers to me,
but this is simultaneously terrifying.
Because on one hand, it's like, God, the Palestinian people are screwed.
This is their representation.
These people are as feckless and ineffective as about any group I've ever seen.

But then, they are also so mightily brainwashed that it is fundamentally, in a zombie-type way,
terrifying because you see the numbers.
Because both speakers told the audience

is because of you.
Now, I'll gather the clip for you if you want to hear it,
because it is mind-boggling.
And this is to thunderous applaud now.
You know, it wasn't like people looked at each other and went,
no, no, no, that's not why he's doing this.
Even he got on the air today and said,
he didn't say anything about the,
I'm stepping down because of the immense success of the pro-Palestinian movement.
But to thunderous applause, the thousands of people there cheered on the fact that they had so
affected the American political system that the president was stepping down.

However, Benjamin Netanyahu was in the Capitol and undoubtedly will receive more money and more weapons.
So where exists the common sense in all of that?
It was a tough one. It was a tough one to swallow, but it was amazing.

a girl up there like that hollering sunglasses on the middle of the day cloudy covering faces up
you know trying to pretend like i want a good life for that person. I want that person to have a spouse and kids and something to really go to bat for.
Something that they can really, I mean, really give effort at.
Not a bout of distractivism to go home and post pictures and say you did a thing and you helped stop the genocide and help shit, right?
Everybody at that protest fundamentally failed today.
Netanyahu was not run out of town. As far as I know, I haven't checked on the headlines in a while. D.C. could be on fire right now. rather see them all happily married with children and you know what i mean wanting the best for the
country that they live in and the future of their children maybe not the indoctrination that would
probably come with them being parents but i don't know man you know i'd love for them to be able to
take on their own pursuit of happiness and then that's it. Be done with it.
I don't look at them and say they need to be shipped off to another country.

I mean, I'm sure there were some in the crowd that could use a shipping off.

But I have to exist in that world.

how we will represent our archives from here on out. It's fun, you know, and that's what it is.
PBN is pretty fun, you know what I mean? And it's a fun
way to bring stuff back from the dead. And I'll throw them in there. Fundamentally, what it's
going to be, it's not going to have a time or a date. It's going to be a show that fits in when
there aren't other shows or on a day where I think we should do an archive show. So it'll be a little bit of
a bonus treat that pops up from time to time. That's what both of these shows are going to be.
Now, today I was creating the artwork, the episode artwork for our newest show,
which is going to air tomorrow. And this is a show that I really would love other hosts to jump on here at PBN.
And I'd even love some of you to do an episode if you feel so inclined.
This is a show that has nothing to do with prepping and nothing to do with survival.
It's a show I've been talking about for a while on the back channel with the hosts.
It's a show I call Anything But Doom.
And Anything But Doom is when you need a break from politics and prepping.

Like when you need a break from food storage and gardening and shooting and tactical training and TACMED, when you need a break from politics and nonsense, the whole thing, that's when you listen to Anything But Doom.
And what Anything But Doom is, is other topics and no particular topic.

prepping and politics. Again, it's not going to be the show you listen to if you're thinking,
I'm going to get started this weekend and really get prepping. You know?
I recorded the first Anything But Doom way back.

I recorded this first episode all the way back in May 29th, okay?
And it's all about the Crow remake and the Crow in general. Because film is huge. Movies were my life growing up. Like, you have to understand that.
The way that you look at your child right now, like, you look at your child, if you're a parent,
when they're on an iPad or on their cell phone or on a computer or on some device, like you watch them and you're like, how many, how long can he sit in front of that thing and be totally distracted?
That was me.
Like that was me with movies.
Not only would I watch movies back to back, I'd watch the same movies over and over and over again every day.
I don't know how my mother dealt with it.
I don't know how she dealt with walking into the room and like he's watching.
God help me.
You know what I mean?
I'd watch this hours.
Hours.
Two, four, six hours watching movies.
So, you know, I'm.
I got a lot of insight when it comes to movies and some movies really truly
affected my life and some movies were were just such a big deal to me man you didn't realize i
didn't realize until later but they really really really defined me you know and the
crow's a great one i won't tell you the whole story because i want you
to listen to it but the story behind how i wound up watching the crow in the movie theaters with
my mother in 1993 which means i would which means i would have been like seven i think i was seven
years old i don't know if you ever saw the original
crow i don't know if you know anything about it it's horrendous it's maybe the most tragic story
ever written about a couple just i mean terrible but they market it as like well i'll let you
listen to it tomorrow and you can you can figure out how the hell I wound up in a movie theater in a rated R flick like The Crow sitting next to my mother, seven years old.
I mean, I just, I would give almost anything I own to be in my mother's head as that movie played in the movie theaters.
Wild flick. And now they're remaking it and uh there's
a lot i got a lot of thoughts about that okay i got a lot of thoughts about a lot of things that
i never talk about and a lot of our hosts are amazing people who have a lot of you know data
built into them stories history day i mean we could we could do a Dave Jones history show that would be great to listen to.
You know what I mean?
But all of them, you know, everyone has lived a life and an interesting life at that.
So anything but Doom is the new show that we're going to put out for when you need,
like, I just need a break i need a break
from the nonsense i don't want to listen to ben shapiro i don't want to listen to any of them
i just want to listen to something completely out of the ever do that i do that from time to time i
don't know if people do that but i do that from time to time like i want to listen to something
that has nothing to do with nothing. I'm not
interested in it. I don't know what it is. Just tell me about something that isn't the end of
the world. I have a feeling you guys will benefit from it. What else? What else is happening in the

His name is Trent Clark.

Opinion piece.
Patriots are prepared, not preppers.
This is, I mean, look, it's weird, right?
It feels, the headline hits me in the solar plexus
because I love preppers.
Most, you hear what I'm about to tell you?
Most of my favorite people are preppers. That's my life.
You know what I mean? Like most, most of my favorite people are preppers. The people that I interact with most are preppers to some degree or another. Like that's how much my life has
changed. So when I see a guy like Trent, I get a little nervous.
I don't want to hate you, Trent.
You got a nice bookshelf behind you.
You got the old guy, one eye bigger than the other look going.
And I don't know.
Let's see what Trent has to say.
Having just celebrated the birth of America,
we cannot ignore how many Americans are now actively anticipate,
invest, and vote, assuming its impending destruction. It's a great first line.

Then he goes into a Finder survey and talks about how much prepping,
doomsday prepping has increased.
It's estimated to be $11 billion a year
national consumer market,
one that I can't seem to tap for some reason.
Just kidding.
I see so many people making so much money off prepping.
I get crazy in the head.
What the hell am I doing wrong?
Anyway, and the segment of society most likely to be preppers,
Gen Z, nearly 40% of Americans born 1997 to 2012,
respond that they're active.
That's not true.

The prepper demographic has always been like 35 to 65.
That's not Gen Z, right?
Anyway, 1997 to 2012 respond that they're actively bracing for a doomsday event or disaster
that wins society as it is currently structured.
Well, that happened. Fundamentally. 2020 was that, right?
The structure of society hasn't changed from 2020 till now.
What is wrong with being prepared in case the grid goes down? In case the Federal Reserve
stops moving money and in case the Federal Emergency Management Administration doesn't
show up for days, weeks, or even months after a disaster.
Hey, Trent, they're not going to show up at all.
Do you know how many FEMA workers there are in a major disaster that affects the entire nation?
No FEMA is coming to most people.
And what are they going to do when they get there?
Oh, the water and the power's off?
We don't have enough water for the whole nation.
Sorry. Don't eat me.
Nothing. Period. Sophisticated and highly technology-driven national and international
supply chains and risk management systems can fail. COVID-19 taught us that. But there's an
attitudinal world of difference between being prepared for societal upheaval and actively making such failure of our constitutional system the default assumption. Here are three reasons
preparing is better than prepping. Preparing is better than prepping. First, preppers often make
the mistake that survival will become an individual responsibility. The wiser preppers modify this assumption to add survival of the family as the goal,
but humankind's collective experience with disaster suggests that community survival is what matters most.
It's a good point. It's one I've been making for a decade.
Second, preppers emphasize personal defense.
The idea is that one's own stockpile of food and survival essentials will, in the face of a societal collapse, be vulnerable to looting.
The well-armed can defend their stash.
This logic survives only as long as the stash survives.
After that, production of survival needs becomes a bigger challenge in defense of wealth.
The American experience is that open, free markets with plenty of opportunities
specialize in villainous demands. It's a more robust, reliable, cost- with plenty of opportunities to specialize and fill in each demands.
It's a more robust, reliable, cost-effective system for generating the goods and services needed.
Yeah, I can get with that.
I can get with that, Trent.
That's self-reliance.
That's self-reliance, right?
So here's the question.
Because I don't see this in the ranks of preppers, but maybe I'm mistaken.
People who look at preppers from the outside
tend to see people who stockpile and that's it.
Do the vast majority of preppers stockpile and that's it?
Because the preppers that I know,
almost all of them are producing something.
Right?
Even if it's a small garden, they're producing something.
I mean, we got Jay Ferg in South Carolina, essentially in like a condo with chickens.
You know what I mean?
So, first of all, don't say you can't because that's bullshit.
And second of all, most preppers that I know are producing.
And third, the system our founders created back in the 18th century was highly dependent on a shared attitude,
the hope that humans can govern themselves.
In many ways, it was a gamble, a shot in the dark,
based on the premise that while never tried before,
the very value of self-government to each individual would sustain it in perpetuity.
Preppers who plan to abandon the Constitution are cowards.
They've given up on the very fight that is worth fighting.
There's something to that.
There is something to that.
It's the idea of self-governance abandoned because we believe that everything will fall into
chaos i don't know i can see like a bunch of uh hosts getting on me about that right now
and saying don't don't buy into the hopium but still uh there is something to that to to trend's
third point i'll give you that you i had to get down to number three, but number three, I think you're right.
There are some things, you know what I mean, the collapse of society,
the fantastical idea of the collapse of society
and how it stands against the idea that people can get along and self-govern.
I am blown away.
That's fundamentally the article.
Just last week, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a series of decisions reversing a failed habit of relinquishing power to a caretaker government in difficult times, restoring individual responsibility.
Bullets weren't what succeeded.
Persuasion and logic are what prevailed.
Is the fight for a free society over?
No.
It is lost.
Also no.
It's at times like these we do not need more preppers.
What we need are more patriots capable of defending the principles upon which America was founded.
Not with bullets, but with superior problem-solving ideas.
That's how he ends the article.
I think he made a decent point on number three.
However, here's what you need to be a patriot. If you want to be a patriot who stands against true tyranny and is even remotely capable of defending the principles upon which America was founded, you better have a base level of preparedness.
You better have some level of self-sufficiency.
You better have an emergency fund, right?
self-sufficiency you better have an emergency fund right you better have some silver or something along those lines because we have seen people lose their job over political mores we have seen
people defending the principles upon which i mean look at the first amendment literally standing for
the first amendment can get you demonetized if you're an internet guy.
It can get you fired if you say the wrong things at work.
It doesn't matter if it has anything to do with First Amendment, right?
So, you know, being a quote-unquote patriot costs.
You know, there's a cost attributed to that.
Standing up for your Second Amendment rights, yeah, there's a cost to that. There's a cost attributed to that. Standing up for your Second Amendment rights,
yeah, there's a cost to that.
There's a definite cost to that.
What are you going to do?
Are you going to go into work
and tell your boss I'm carrying my firearm in work now
because of the Second Amendment?
You know what I mean?
So, and I know that there's that whole public-private thing,
but look.
All I'm saying is in the America of today, just like in the America of yesteryear,
you better have a base level preparedness.
You better have the capability and the knowledge to be self-sufficient this day and age because how else are you going to sustain?
If you think that standing up and defending the principles of America,
the founding principles of America, is a duty that will come without consequence, not true.
No.
You're going to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, as Shakespeare said.
So that is what it is.
You know, if you're— Yeah, I made my point.

We're in this thing together, though, buddy.

One of the things that I never really do as a prepper
is review stuff, gear and stuff. I never do it. I never really do as a prepper is review stuff gear and stuff I never do it
I so rarely do it because I'm not really like super passionate about gear it's not something
I wake up thinking about my flashlight I would so in love with this light um but I got a lot
prepping gear and I got a lot of information and knowledge and experience using it. And, you know, I'm going to get personal now

When I watch a guy, like, flipping peanuts in the air
with a spoon and catching them in his ear hole,
and he has 2.5 million views on YouTube,
and it's late at night,
I'll say to myself, like,
if this guy can do it, I can do it. And then I'll start, I would start daydreaming about,
you know, putting on a more mild prepping channel all about reviewing gear and affiliate links and
making money and I don't know. And then it occurred to me one day like
well first of all i've decided i i don't want to do business in the king's court at all anymore
you know i really am fundamentally disgusted by it all and then it occurred to me you know i have
this base of people already they are the membership other words, produce content for a bunch of people who are going to, you know, YouTube's going to take half.
And then, you know, who gets to watch it?
I don't know.
Silly.
But in the wee morning hours when, you know, your brain is like, go to bed, and you're out there trying to plan how you're going
to take over the world. Things like that pop up. And then fundamentally, I talked to the
PBN membership in the Element chat and said, hey, what if I do a gear show? What if I do another
series, a gear series? Because we've got a fitness series, we've got a bushcraft series we've got a minimally
populated blacksmith series that i really need to get back to work on an entrepreneurial series
and now we have a gear series and the name is very simple it's it just popped into my head i sat out
on the back uh out in the backyard to record the first video about my basically my edc
flashlight my power tech uh m5 and i don't know just just thought family gear family gear
