Starting point is 00:00:19 Hara Zorrell. Let's talk about it. Let's talk about Supergirl. Let's talk about it. We'll call it a Red Beacon Review. How about that? But we have to talk about it. We have to discuss Supergirl for a number of reasons.
Starting point is 00:00:35 I took the bait. I watched the formation of the storm. I wasn't overwhelmed or blown away with the trailers, though it looked pretty decent. But suffice it to say, by the time the movie came out or was about to release, the day, really, the movie released, by the time the day the movie released, I was about 98% sure I wasn't going to watch Supergirl. And that means something. Okay? That means something. because the Superman universe is big deal to me.
Starting point is 00:01:25 It's a really big deal. It's been a big deal to me my whole life. And when I say big deal, I have cryptonian words tattooed on my body. I have Marlon Brando quotes from the original Superman tattooed on my body. You don't see my tattooed. tattoos a lot, except the bone arrow because it's big and right there. But of the few I have, those made the cut.
Starting point is 00:01:57 You know, they're for my kids, but those made the cut. Because Superman has always been a big deal throughout my entire life. And the whole universe is, I just always loved it. I always loved the futuristic Krypton, his parents, his dad, the sort of prepper foreshadowing genius. And even his cousin, Kara Zora, super-powered, super-moody cousin Kara, you know, cool, storyline. Great, awesome.
Starting point is 00:02:27 Never really saw her done well. You know, the sort of campy old supergirl was, you know, to fit the times, it was what it was, right? It was goofy. The Latina Supergirl or whatever she was, I don't know. I don't know how that worked, how that fit. I don't understand who made that decision up, but it was, you know, peak.
Starting point is 00:02:47 peak woke time here in the United States, so it made sense. Don't you dare put blonde hair on Supergirl, you nuts. So I was, you know, a lot of people might be sitting there kind of smiling, grinning, waiting for me, the intrepic commander to go crazy on this movie, both as a nerd and as a whatever kind of thing I represent right here on PBN and Red Beacon Media. I'm going to tell the story because the story tells the story. And Supergirl tells a greater story about you and about me. And not in the sort of I'm super sense, but in sort of, let's get it to hell together sense. All right? My son wanted to go see a anime movie compilation.
Starting point is 00:03:51 anime movies are often these compilations of episodes of an anime that already exists that's released in the theaters and he wanted to go see one called bleach I actually first went to the movies to see a compilation of the series Juju Zucayzin and we together Carter and I have had a really awesome time with that anime he wants to go see bleach with his buddies awesome go the movies with your friends have a good time. It's great. It's what being your age is all about, right? Things like that make me so happy. And we went out and ate dinner and pulled up to the movie theater, myself, my youngest, and my oldest. And he's headed into the movies and, you know, going solo. And I just, I just,
Starting point is 00:04:49 I'm here. We're here. You know what I mean? And I threw it out there expecting my son to say, know my youngest, to be honest, I expect him to say, no. I said, you want to run in and see what time Supergirl is playing? It's Thursday, right? So those of you, I don't know how many people don't know this anymore. I hope you know it, but you can go see movies that release on Friday on Thursday. I don't know if you know that. I've been doing that for a very long time. It used to sound mythical. Like, it wouldn't make sense. Even my kids and my wife would look at me until they got used to it. You know, they get real excited about a movie. They're like, oh, it's coming out for Friday, I can't wait.
Starting point is 00:05:25 On Thursday, I'd be like, all right, let's go see it. I'm like, no, it's out tomorrow. I'm like, no, it's out today. I don't know why they set it up that way. I have no idea. They tell you the movie's out on the 26th, but it's actually out on the 25th. It's a great little hack. Some was up for it.
Starting point is 00:05:45 He was up for it. He wanted to go see the backrooms again, and I said, well, let's see what time it shows. It didn't show. That's a whole other story. But we had one. We had Carter's movie started. 6.05, Supergirl started 610. We said, let's go do it, whatever.
Starting point is 00:06:01 We just ate, so that means I didn't have to spend $5,000 for popcorn and drinks and tickets, so we could go in and just chill out and enjoy the movie. And, you know, this is what the movies are all about. Let's just start with that.
Starting point is 00:06:19 You know what I mean? This is what the movies are all about. You're not taking out a 30-year mortgage. It feels like that sometimes, but Now, up until this moment, I'd been 98% sure I wasn't going to see this movie. I've been watching. I've been watching. That was my problem.
Starting point is 00:06:40 I've been watching the lead actress's attitude. I've been watching people coming out of the movie theater who saw early screenings and giving their thoughts. Critics, if you will. And whatever it was, just enough, I heard enough people that I kind of trust there. on the internet, say, you know, the movie's kind of all over the place, doesn't make a lot of sense. The villain ain't no good, right? A bunch of, a bunch of bad reviews, essentially, before most people had even seen the movie. But it just nudged me in a direction where I said, you know, like, this may be something.
Starting point is 00:07:20 I just watch at home, you know, I've watched the majority of D.C. stuff that I've really enjoyed, to be honest, at home. You know, the big epics, the Superman's, the Batman, the Batman versus Superman's, you know, the man of steel, those kinds of things you go see in the movie theaters. But DC releases a lot of stuff. It relates to a lot of cartoons that are great. Animations, I guess you call them so that you don't sound like a total dork.
Starting point is 00:07:43 But they do great stuff. A lot of it I watch at home. A lot of it have a good time. You know what I mean? I watched most of the newer stuff, Justice League 2 and all that. I watched it at home. I didn't want to see it.
Starting point is 00:07:54 I didn't want to see Jasonamoa pretending to be Aquaman. You know what I mean? I'd like Al Goddow as one. Underwoman, I thought she was a great pick. Ben Affleck, I think, is my favorite Batman of all time. I know a lot of people hate that, but I don't give a shit. He was jacked. He was monstrous.
Starting point is 00:08:09 He was terrifying. I mean, he really was a terrifying Batman. You know, British and Bayle was phenomenal. Don't get me wrong. But he was like a techno sort of, I don't know. It was a different thing, different vibe. The vibe of Ben Affleck as Batman was Batman. It was, if that dude, if you were a bad guy,
Starting point is 00:08:30 and that dude happened upon you at his height, at his size, with his, you know, the voice and all that. Like, oh, man, this is, this, I messed up. I will repent Batman, please don't beat me into a bloody pope and brand me. So, yeah, D.C. Good stuff. Don't see a lot of in the theaters. This was getting chalked up to one of those things, right? Maybe I don't want to see it in the theaters.
Starting point is 00:08:58 Maybe I don't want to see a stumbling, you know, know, drunken supergirl making her way through some adventure to save her dog. But at the same time, I also knew, you know, we got four dogs. We love dogs. So it would hit with my youngest. My youngest would right away sort of understand the plight. And he'd be able to put himself in that position pretty easily because he loves the dogs, right? Like, yeah, I got to do it.
Starting point is 00:09:21 I got to do to save crypto. And I get into the movie and my son's all over the damn theater because nobody's there. There's nobody to see the movie. or like one of eight people or something. So he's going to sit in the auditoriums, coming down sitting with me, you know, whatever. I told him, you know,
Starting point is 00:09:42 don't move too much once the movie starts. But the movie begins and, let me just say right off the bat, dude, it was fun. It really was a fun movie. It was a fun movie. And as the movie went on, it just kept being awesome.
Starting point is 00:10:06 It was great. in fact it was great in fact it was everything that a summer movie should be and you know there were scenes in it were just so great I mean just so epic if you can't understand the great idea of pinning
Starting point is 00:10:28 a super powered kryptonian under a yellow sun underneath the red sun and the challenges that go with it right so one of the main sticking points of the story is Kara likes to get hammered. She's wild. She likes to get hammered and party. And you can't get drunk
Starting point is 00:10:47 under a yellow sun as a kryptonian because you're too strong. Yellow sun gives Superman. His power makes him invulnerable. Same thing for her. So she goes to these solar systems where they're red suns and gets hammered. Has a good time.
Starting point is 00:11:00 And she's a mess. She's a drunk. You know what I mean? Basically. Living with her dog and, you know, living a wild lifestyle. She don't want to go back. to earth. You know what I mean? She doesn't want to hang out with Mr. Perfect Superman because she's
Starting point is 00:11:12 messing up. She's, you know, she's wild. But of course, the red sun hinders all her ability. So if trouble comes, you know, now she's either seeking out a yellow sun or just kind of normal. And this is the crux of all superhero stories or not all superheroes, but Superman in particular. The problem with comics and the reason I have no Superman comics collection is because he's God. You know what I mean? He's too strong. The supermen's and women's are too strong.
Starting point is 00:11:51 They're too strong to be interesting. That's why Batman is so great because he's human. You know he can be shot, killed, stabbed, knocked unconscious. He is a lot of times. You know what I mean? All that kind of stuff. But you know, Superman, Superman shows up, he's high-powered, he's ready to go. It's like, there's a problem.
Starting point is 00:12:13 But there's also a suspense in building to that. And there's a lot of that in this movie. There's a lot of that sort of suspense of building her back from some situation where she goes from being depowered to Supergirl powered. And, you know, it's always fun to see that power level. You know, what kind of hits they can take and what kind of hits they can dish out as supermen and superwomen, right? It's fun. And this was no different. This is great.
Starting point is 00:12:46 Now, the critics, well, should we talk about that? The critics, the reviewers, the atmosphere around the movie at large told me something as I walked out of the theater. After having a really good time, my son was laying. three seats deep like two rows behind me. He had a great time. And it reminded me of something and it told me something about the society that is really sad at the moment. Right?
Starting point is 00:13:20 And it is our incapability who enjoy things that are 100% enjoyable. Our desire to have something to say about everything. To make some sort of interesting and important
Starting point is 00:13:38 remark about something. The fact that so many people make a living off content creation, even though most of the time they have, not only they have nothing to say, but, you know, there's this thing where you have to go with the, this is what we do so good at PBN because we don't give it. Damn. But you have to go with the current, right? Like the one thing as a comic book guy That you don't want to do
Starting point is 00:14:10 Is come out and have some contrarian Review of this movie Like if all your buddies and all the best comic book movie Marvel DC movie reviewer Whatever type people who make content Are all coming out and going Man this movie was a wreck You know what I mean? It was all crazy
Starting point is 00:14:29 There was all kinds of different plot lines And all kinds of The movie was not that complicated to follow If you ever saw Star Wars, if you watched, I didn't even watch the Guardians of the Galaxy, to be honest with it's not really my thing. But if you watch something like that, it's pretty easy to wrap your head around this story.
Starting point is 00:14:50 If you ever watch space sci-fi, really what Supergirl is, it's a space sci-fi. That's what it is. Wrapped up with comic book dressing and a great comic book character set. And they were all good. You know what I mean? everybody knew Jason Mamoa playing Lobo was going to be great, and he was great.
Starting point is 00:15:09 He was fun. He was nuts. He was on a motorcycle with a cigar in his mouth and a giant scythe with a chain attached to a kicking ass. Those are the expectations I had of Jason Mamoa. Be an asshole, right? Cigar jacked. The face paint, please. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:15:29 Motorcycle, kicking ass. Done. None. I'm good. The dialogue wasn't. The dialogue of this movie was terrible. There were so many different one-off characters and side story notes and this and that. It was a very easy movie to watch.
Starting point is 00:15:51 It's way harder to look at the Supergirl movie and go, all right, let's write ten things that are wrong with it. And I feel like that, that's the message I got leaving the movie theater. That really is what sunk my heart. The deepest is we live in this society, and it just, this Supergirl movie was a blinking red light for me. The society is one that says almost like some sort of school activity or school lesson, right? Give me three things that sucked about it. That's everything in life.
Starting point is 00:16:26 That is everything that people do in life. Give me 10 things that sucked about it. I got to be able to talk about it. I got to be able to remark about it. and just say, oh, it's fun, man. It was fun. It was Supergirl smashing stuff up, beating people up, being a little, being a little more dangerous than her cousin, you know what I mean, being a little more immoral than her cousin,
Starting point is 00:16:50 having fun with her powers. And it was fun. And she had a great mission. She had a great cause. One thing I heard nobody talk about in the movie. And it's not a spoiler or anything. It's a part of the story that in the woke day, age, actually, not even in a woke day, anybody who watches the movie, this would be a piece
Starting point is 00:17:15 that you would remark on and say, this is kind of cool. This was a cool addition to a supergirl story, right? The lead villain is doing all kinds of crazy stuff. He's a pirate essentially. But one of the core elements of his pirate group is they go planet to planet and slave girls. for reproduction. And you see them. Like you see,
Starting point is 00:17:42 throughout the movie, there are these giant carts, tank-like carts that are filled with the brides, they call them. And it's a bunch of young girls in white dresses, like white,
Starting point is 00:17:53 you know, overthrow dress type thing. There's this whole human trafficking thing happening that Kara is also fighting. I didn't hear anybody talk about it once. Nobody said anything. It is one of the big, if not the big,
Starting point is 00:18:08 biggest rhyme, nightmare, deplorable thing that is happening on our planet right now. Every feminist, every conservative, every person in existence, when you see something related to child trafficking, your ears should perk up and you should go, oh, death penalty. Let's sweep them up with the dustpaned death penalty. You know what I mean? Like, it should incite passion and violence in you. And of all the things I heard people talk about with this movie, what was good about it, came up short about who do, nobody even mentioned that.
Starting point is 00:18:44 And when I saw it and I thought, I thought it was a great opportunity to bring awareness to something that's happening, to remind people, right? Don't forget. It's an awesome part of the side part of the story. I mean, it even, I won't talk too much about it, but it even plays a role in the lead character's quest. Like the lead character's quest almost gets upended over these trafficking pirates
Starting point is 00:19:10 and the trades that they want to make for girls. It's a huge part of the story. You know? One of the biggest problems that people had with the story was that the main villain was not great. And again, look, when movies come out and I like them, I don't care if you like them. And a lot of times I'll get.
Starting point is 00:19:41 it's skewered by people who would be like, dude, that movie was horrible. You know what I mean? I get run into that crowd sometimes. I don't care. You know what I mean? I don't, I didn't think the guy was a bad villain. I really didn't. He was a space pirate. You know, it wasn't Dark Side. It wasn't the Joker. He's not a, he's not, he's not, I don't even know who he is. I never heard of him until the movie. He's not like a, a tier villain. He's not brainiac you know what i mean so i don't need some sort of charismatic and he was an evil monster of a person he wanted to kill a little girl he was enslaving little girls he was you know murdering people just without hesitation i thought he did all the things a villain needs to do you know i don't need
Starting point is 00:20:31 him to win an oscar i don't need every guy in every movie to win an oscar and that's sort of my that's sort of my problem with the critique class of movie one of watchers that is bleeding into everyone. This whole thing is bleeding into everyone. You're going to a movie. You're not even going. You're going to a comic book derived movie in June. Like, sit back, relax.
Starting point is 00:21:09 You're watching Supergirl beat space pirates up. Have fun once in a while in your life. This ain't Shindler. list. Well, the dialogue wasn't quite up the par. Like, it all stems. And this is what, this is the only reason I'm talking about this. I'd watch a movie, be happy, tell you in passing, oh, I saw Supergirl, it was awesome, don't listen to the bullshit. And move on with my life. But it affected me so much because I saw so many, and it's still out there. There's still so many people like, oh, the story, it's a disjointed. It's a straight line. It's a straight line narrative. There's one
Starting point is 00:21:50 side quest. That's it. It's not a complicated story. She meets aliens because she's in outer space and there's a bunch of different breeds and species. It's not very complex. It really isn't. Dog's shot with a poison. Got to get the cure. Love the dog. Don't want the dog to die. This is the plot of the movie. Run into a girl. She wants revenge. She likes me. I don't like her that much. But I'm going to bring her along anyway. That's the side side quest. That's the movie. Well, it was really a mess. It was all over the place.
Starting point is 00:22:26 I couldn't quite follow it. Are you an idiot? What do you mean you couldn't follow it? The dialogue wasn't up. The villain was not. It wasn't Heath Ledger's Joker. Yeah, you're not going to get that every time, bud. A space pirate is not the Joker.
Starting point is 00:22:49 Everybody's taking shit too seriously that ain't worth taken seriously. You're paying seven. 75% of your income in taxes and you say nothing. I just got to pay the rent here at America. Supergirl comes out. You got a list of 20 items that you want to talk about. I don't know what the hairs. They're actually her hair straight in the comic books and all those. Our society really struggles to enjoy itself. I don't know if it's the SSRIs. I don't know if it's the Humphard and convenience, I think, has a lot to do with it. I don't think life is hard enough for a lot of people,
Starting point is 00:23:31 despite what they say, I ain't got no money, I don't got no this, I can't buy a house, I don't know, I didn't bet. Whatever the situation is, man, like,
Starting point is 00:23:41 something's off. That's an inside joke. But listen, this movie made it ever more clear to me. Really, it's crystal clear, watching Supergirl, of all things.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Because I looked out onto the, well, you know what didn't help is I went fly, fly fishing yesterday with my dad and this only further solidified it. But it was so, it was such a, like, fun time. I couldn't, I, I never had a moment.
Starting point is 00:24:16 You know what was even non-existent in the movie? Or at least I didn't notice it. There was no, like, there was no real wokeism. There was no real sort of edgy dialogue that would like, well Superman he's got it so easy because he's a white man you know or he's a man so oh you know what there was one there was one instance that was it in the whole movie that i can remember the little girl that's with her asks the question which is kind of you know it kind of if you didn't know what was going on on earth and she didn't she was from a different planet she goes so who's your cousin oh my cousin's
Starting point is 00:24:52 calel oh okay but everybody calls him Superman and she goes so are you superwoman and she goes no i'm girl. Why? And then they, that's it. That's the whole, that's the whole thing. But the whole time there's this super strong girl, you know, beating up space guys and, uh, you never, there's no like, you know, snarky little feminist quips, you know what I mean? And also wondering if men really do hate women so much, particularly online men, like men who are online a lot, that are writing these reviews. I just, I don't understand it. I don't understand it. I don't know if our expectations are too high for things. I don't know if we can't shuffle the deck properly in our brain and go, this is what's happening today. I'm going to go watch Supergirl. It's a movie
Starting point is 00:25:52 called Supergirl. It's derived from a comic book. Maybe I shouldn't look at it as though it's the next greatest movie that I'll tell my grandkids, oh, I saw Supergirl. Yeah, I was there at the premiere. You wouldn't believe it. No, it's a superhuman movie. See, but when movies, great movies, have been squashed and relegated to Angel Studios or, you know what I mean, these smaller productions where only once in a while something really good breaks through, then you start, I guess you start to think that like, this is the pinnacle of film. Like, this is what the best that we can do, baby, it's the summer blockbuster. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:26:35 Everybody knew the difference. You didn't go to Independence Day back in the 90s and be like, yeah, you know what? This is going to be about as good as Godfather. You know what I mean? Like Independence Day with Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum. This is going to be on par, you know what I mean, with heat. No.
Starting point is 00:26:56 It was, you know what I mean? You went, you were watching an alien movie? We're watching a sci-fi movie about aliens and fighter pilots and planes and Earth fights back, and it's going to be fun. It's going to be a fun time. We're going to have a great time. I feel bad for them. You know what I mean? Truly.
Starting point is 00:27:22 And I want people to get their meters checked. I want them to pull the compass out and go like, oh, we're having a good time now. Okay. We can just watch it and just walk out and forget about it. And there's no underlying factor. And here's sort of the biggest thing, right? And this affects everybody. It's like before the movie came out,
Starting point is 00:27:44 Millie, the actress, who I never watched before this movie, she said some things, right? And I want you to understand when you take actors things that they say too seriously, like, they're actors. Actors are not God. They are not your God. Films are not your God. Critics are not your God, right?
Starting point is 00:28:13 Your buddy's opinion on a thing is not your God. Yet we act like all of these things are not true. She came out and she said something about Christian dads going to the movie or whatever. And everybody, right? And then she came out and said that maybe Supergirl's bisexual. Dude, it's a Supergirl movie. Okay? Like, there are fights to be had.
Starting point is 00:28:51 There are things to stand on business about. You don't have to stand up against Millie Alcock as Supergirl and her belief system compared to yours. You can go to the movie. I don't care if you go to the movie or not, but I'm just saying, you can go to the movie. You can watch it for an hour 48. You can roll out of the movie. and go, oh, that was fun. Did you have fun?
Starting point is 00:29:18 Was popcorn good? Was the Coke delicious? Okay, great. And move on. The problem is we can't move on for some reason. All right. I've beaten it up long enough. The beginning of the podcast, one of my goals was to make you think I was going to skewer,
Starting point is 00:29:39 Supergirl, or being woke or being this or being that, or I was going to bring my superior Superman intellect. in and really destroy the representation of her. They did, I mean, her story is supposed to be built around Brainiac. It wasn't. And that's fine. But I can live with that. I can live with a lot of the movies, guys.
Starting point is 00:30:02 You know what I mean? I don't know what that means for me. There are things people just can't live with. It depends on the movie, right? Young Washington is coming out. Okay? If Young Washington comes out on fourth and I decide to go see it, and young Washington arrives on his steed with an AR-15,
Starting point is 00:30:23 I'll have some things to say. I think we got the history wrong. If I'm going to watch a comic book flick and they take some liberties that maybe I don't even agree with, although I didn't think it was a bad call in the origin. Hey, whatever. You know what I mean? Because to be honest with you,
Starting point is 00:30:43 I don't even know what her origin origin is. I know what her modern-day origin is, and it's different than the one in the movie. You can live with that, right? Enjoy yourself, man. Life is short. It's a short dance in the sun. Please don't let Supergirl be the thing.
Starting point is 00:31:09 All of your happiness hid yourself. No, but truly, it was a good time. It was a fun movie. There's a lot of hate out there for it right now. I don't know. I haven't done enough research on it to see if it's like right-generated, left generated, I really don't care. I'm not going to do research.
Starting point is 00:31:27 All I know is rotten tomatoes, shitty score, IMDB, low score. You know what I mean? Everybody's like, all of this. This is what I mean. All this stuff is dumb. It's dumb. You need the guys over at IMD BD to tell you if the movie's good. I'm partially yelling at myself, by the way.
Starting point is 00:31:44 I'm not just yelling at you. I'm partially angry with myself because I, me, who is a guy who was pretty damn inextricably tied to the super Superman verse. Made a decision, I'm not going to go see the movie. And I made that decision based off a bunch of bullshit online. Instead of just saying, I'm Supergirl, go see it.
Starting point is 00:32:06 Why wouldn't you go see it, dummy? You know what I mean? I mean, at the very worst, you can peel yourself away from the family for two hours, go sit in a movie theater in the middle of summer, drink a cherry Coke, watch a Supergirl movie, have a good time, go home. So in some ways, I'm excoriating myself as much as I am.
Starting point is 00:32:25 because I almost missed it. If my youngest said, I don't want to go see it, we'd have drove home and drove back and picked part of the movies. He really saved the day. He really was the Superman
Starting point is 00:32:34 that day for me. But the greater message is that we really do struggle to enjoy this amazing life we have. And it is, I think it is probably the saddest thing that is happening
Starting point is 00:32:50 to the individual. I think the saddest thing that is happening to the individual is their inability to grasp the times that they live in, right? This is not late stage capitalism. I keep seeing this phrase,
Starting point is 00:33:06 late, I'm stuck in late stage capitalism. Oh, are you stuck in late stage capitalism, you poor thing? Oh, you poor thing, you. Well, listen, once you're done having lunch delivered to your house, your air-conditioned house, and you go and you go and cash your check that you made however many tens of thousands of dollars per year, working from your dining room, right, or your home office or whatever, or even your parents' basement,
Starting point is 00:33:37 whatever, you're working from home, your door dashing your food, everything is phenomenal, every piece of food you buy, whether it's at a supermarket or at a restaurant, it's incredibly safe, there's a tap full of water, and you can drink all of it. You can filter it if you want. If you want to be picky, you don't even have to drink the tap water. You can filter that. But there's an unending amount of water. Oh, you go upstairs.
Starting point is 00:34:00 There's an unending amount of hot water. You can take a hot shower for an hour straight and just cry, right? Then you can hop on a video game and play online with your friends and people from all the way on the other side of the planet and have a great time. Go outside. Still, the world in the United States, the actual real world outside of your job and online, is more accessible than any place probably on the planet. You could go into the woods for hundreds, if not thousands of acres, depending on what part of the country you live in and explore the great grand wild world. There are free museums.
Starting point is 00:34:36 There are rivers and lakes and ponds and streams to be fished and birds to sea and wildlife. Cliffs to climb and jump off of and oceans to take in. All of it is available. Lots of it is free. most of it you can afford and I got to listen to people bellyache of the late stage capital I'm stuck in this late stage
Starting point is 00:35:05 capital fear up cheer up damn it cheer up and read about the 1400s seriously you want to you want to talk about late stage something this is a whole
Starting point is 00:35:23 mentality it's a whole mindset I could talk about it for another three hours because it's literally like a virus like in the way that you would talk about the woke mind virus, the way that you would talk about transgenderism, you know, I mean, how it spreads. The same sort of poo-poo-pants mentality is the same thing.
Starting point is 00:35:43 It's spread just the same. It's just nothing brought it to the forefront lately for me the way that this movie did. Because it's going to keep going. You're going to keep, if you haven't heard anything about it yet, you're going to hear more about it. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:35:57 You're going to do. It's going to be one of these sets. A big box office busts Supergirl. America's sexist. Or Millie Alcock was too extreme, so nobody wanted to go see it. Or what you're at? You know, whatever it is. It's a movie.
Starting point is 00:36:13 You're going to be in a coffin before you know it. Okay? In an urn on the shelf or buried underground. Enjoy the movies. Go to the movies. Watch the movie. The actor. doesn't matter. They're not even real, basically. They play faky for a living. They're Fugazi
Starting point is 00:36:33 professionals. You think that their belief systems are really that solidified? Anyhow, all and all, it was a great flick. I had a great time. Supergirl. I can't wait to see her team up with Superman to fight Brainiac. That's all I want. Maybe Darkside. I'll take that too. I'd really love to see Brainiac. We haven't seen him on the screen. The dork in me wants to see that. My oldest son would love to see that because he came up watching Brainiac with me and that would be fun that would be that's what the movies are about that's what the comic books are about that's what this whole thing is about so let's do more of that let's do more of that hmm remember it's not scarface it's supergirl
