Starting point is 00:00:00 Society in every state is a blessing the government even in its best state is but a necessary evil Welcome in everyone surviving America Episode 26. Sorry got to listen to that intro music that I don't know. That's it. It's a whole thing is nice. The whole thing is nice It's it's gonna be one of those episodes today. I'm gonna try to pay close attention to chat I'm closing all my other windows out. Welcome in Instagram. Welcome in Rumble. Welcome in X. Yeah, X today. Today's gonna be one of those shows. I kind of just wanted to
Starting point is 00:01:00 drink coffee and hang out. You see, I do like five shows a week now. It's kind of a lot. And some days I wake up and I'm not compelled to do research and topic and story and sometimes I'm just... you ever just have a day and this is rare in nowadays but you ever just have a day where it's like, I don't want to get aggravated over stuff. I don't want to get excited over the political or world's things that are happening. And I don't really want to delve deeply into any one preparedness topic. And to be quite honest with you, that's me today. Me today is, let's just hang. That's that's me today me today is
Starting point is 00:01:50 Let's just hang let's just hang I haven't looked much at the news It's not been one of those days and I'm happy for it. It's going to 76 degrees today Okay, it's going to 76 to do I'm gonna rip this hoodie off I'm gonna go run probably five miles once it gets nice and warm and work out after that and just Enjoy the spring for what it is because it is It's a wonderful thing. You know what I mean? Jay Ferg is in chat and she is she needs some tea. She needs some of that good old gray, man She is, she needs some tea. She needs some of that good old gray man, Earl Grey tea from DisasterCoffee.com.
Starting point is 00:02:28 What's happening to my Stitch? Come on Disney, was this from Disney? Oh, you know where this was from actually? This was from the Spirit of Halloween store. Look, this side is chipped off. I'm going to cut my face off. This one's been through it. I still have a Matter of Facts podcast. There's been a Matter of Facts podcast mug out there by a rock near my creek for at least a year. At least. I've
Starting point is 00:02:59 walked by it countless times. Never. I gotta grab that. I love that mug. It's a really cool little gift item that was given to me couple prepper camps ago. Very nice So a fire wolf, what's up, man? He says he's sweating already Yeah, so so chat room and Instagram Whatever you want to talk about you guys bring it up I may or may not see it if there's something on your hearts and minds Like I said today
Starting point is 00:03:28 Fundamentally, we did a big show last week. The rising republic yesterday was phenomenal. I hope you heard that Uh, we have a reliance coming Sunday monday we have whitney johnson on I uh Pulled the trigger a little early on that interview this week um Johnson on, I pulled the trigger a little early on that interview this week. So tons, tons of stuff, you know what I mean, happening here at PBN as always. And I don't know, like I said today, it just feels like one of them days. It feels like one of those days we take it as we get it, you know, maybe we'll look at some news, maybe we won't.
Starting point is 00:04:02 I don't even know if I want to go down that path. There's a lot going on. It was really cool to see the astronauts come home yesterday you know, I I was kind of blown away of like how the overwhelming response that really caught my eye from the general public with the astronauts was That's fake, bro No lie lie like I watched several videos on it I I really dug the whole rescue operation rescue mission I posted something that was a little aggro on Instagram about you know this amazing thing is happening and nobody's really talking about it and like the the fundamental like the fundamental comment outside of
Starting point is 00:04:55 the nice comments was it's all fake they're not really coming back from space this whole thing's fake and And I don't know, it caught me off guard a little bit, to be honest with you. It did. I was kind of surprised that that many people would comment, not just on my own post, but on you know whatever I was looking at and say like, it's fake. This thing is fake. Space is fake. The rescue mission is fake. The astronaut... like there's a whole elementary school of people. There's an elementary school named after Sunni.
Starting point is 00:05:29 And she just, what do you think, she just disappeared for eight months and took pictures inside of a minimal gravity machine? What's, what? Like, the people in her town were excited she's back. She went to Cabo for eight months and took pictures in an anti-gravity and hung out with some co-worker astronaut for no reason whatsoever. It's a jaded society out there, I think. What I really pray, and I think you should consider it in your prayers too, is that these people who are just devastated by Donald Trump being their president, you should really pray them past this.
Starting point is 00:06:22 Even when Biden was president and it was clear he wasn't president, like when the auto pen news come out, nobody texted me. Nobody was like, can you believe, you know what I mean? I mean, it is a wild story. Don't get me wrong. But when the auto pen story came out, now I am, I am interested to see what happens with auto pen and the massive amount of people he pardoned, you know, I think all those pardons should be obliterated if he auto-penned them. And if I'm supposed to believe that a guy who could barely tie
Starting point is 00:06:51 his shoes if he had to sat down with 6,000 names or whatever it was and signed every one, I don't know. I probably need to get rid of those pardons. Just is what it is. But even when Joe Biden was president, man, life was happening all around me. Beauty was happening all around me. And I didn't have a Joe Biden sitting right here on my face. What I feel like is the rest of the world who is like so vehemently anti-Trump as as Donald Trump sitting right here like he's always in their view like there's no getting him out of their view
Starting point is 00:07:32 and uh we need to pray for those people truly they need to get through it they need to get over it they need to get through this thing they need to understand like good times and bad times and you know whatever perception. But listen to me if you're watching and you're crazy and you're liberal please like get past this thing. There's a lot of life out there you know. You know? Joray greetings from Portugal and Instagram. Yeah, that was the auto pen Firewolf, the digital signatures. That is the auto pen, the digital signature process.
Starting point is 00:08:25 I was thinking about that, you know, my son is 13 and It's a cool time to be alive it's so it feels suck I feel like you'd like those teen informative teenage years or poof they can be tough. You know, there's so much like swirling in your head but I was watching him and yesterday and it what came into my head was that the the world is so big and there's so much to do and What your main duty in life is For yourself if you're you know to make yourself
Starting point is 00:08:58 Capable of living a good life what your main duty is to find the things that you like in all of the noise and do them to the utmost degree. The world is huge, opportunity is vast, hobbies, professions, spare time, all of it. There's so much and really the big challenge in the modern age I think is for people to find out what it is they love. Is to have enough time to sort of parse through the things that they really enjoy and figure out this is what I want to do. This I think is what I am, this is what I want
Starting point is 00:09:39 to do. I attribute a lot of my own happiness to that just figuring out what it is. I like oh And there's another big another big piece of advice for those of you out there on that same path How to say it politely You can't worry about what other people think You know what I mean? Like you cannot worry about what other people think this is You hear it a lot and it seems kind of blase, but it's critical You know what I mean? Like you cannot worry about what other people think. This is... You hear it a lot and it seems kind of blase, but it's critical. It's absolutely critical.
Starting point is 00:10:14 You find the things that you like, you find the stuff that you like to do, you do it. It doesn't matter what anyone says. It doesn't matter how anyone feels. Because you're more than those things, right? In a world with so much opportunity and so much, so much, I mean, you could wake up and
Starting point is 00:10:33 do almost anything any day. Literally. Like fundamentally, I know after work, before work, whatever, but like you have the ability to research and go do and go see and meet people and do things that are magic and by the standards of every human being up until like 50 years ago, 30 years ago, 40 years ago, maybe. And, uh, oof, gotta take advantage of that, man. You know, you gotta take advantage of that. This is our great gift. And it amazes me that people are still terrified to do what they want to do because of what mom might say or what dad might say or what the spouse might think or what the kids might this or what this one or my old buddy or how my boss will look at it or what. You know what I mean? It's just, I don't know. The moment you understand that your life is really just completely up to you in terms of how you
Starting point is 00:11:33 feel and and how you live each day, it's just way better. You know? It doesn't mean you're not gonna get mad, doesn't mean you're not gonna get tired, stressed out, you're not gonna run into idiots and have to deal with them but a lot of this life is yours man a lot of it is yours you know what else going on out there in the world Instagram chat what do you guys got going on not a damn thing popping in and popping out don't feel like listening to James rap philosophical this morning. No, no problem. The Punisher returned last night. The Punisher returned last night. John Bernthal reprised the role of the Punisher last night and
Starting point is 00:12:17 it was very cool because it was one of those things that I thought would never happen again. I wasn't even sure we'd ever see the Punisher again. And, uh, I was never really a big fan of The Punisher. In fact, The Punisher was kind of the most useless and stupid Marvel character in my mind of all. You know, Guy with guns. And the Netflix series came out and Jon Bernthal did such a great job with Frank Castle. Actually, yeah, I don't think I watched him in Daredevil till after I watched the Netflix series because he did show up in Daredevil early on. But he did such a great job at bringing to life the human side of the Punisher.
Starting point is 00:13:04 the human side of the Punisher. The human, and maybe it's because I'm older now and I have kids and a wife and, you know, that kind of a loss is something that is... It's hard to wrap your head around, so to watch another guy go through it on the big screen, if you will, and then watch him sort of... try to create his own version of justice for that unjust thing that's happened to him It was just astounding. It was fun to watch. You know what I mean is it wasn't a show Hardly even about guns, which is funny It's good just good, you know, he does the Punisher great I think he would have done Wolverine even better actually my only lament My only lament with John Bernthal doing the Punisher is I think John Bernthal would have probably been the best Wolverine
Starting point is 00:13:53 He's smaller than Hugh Jackman. He's Meaner than Hugh Jackman. You know what I mean? I really do think He would have been the ultimate Wolverine I really do think he would have been the ultimate Wolverine, but he can't really you can know how many times is Marvel gonna do like now Iron Man is Dr. Doom and now the Punisher is the Wolverine and now that you know it's not an easy role to play the Wolverine but yeah the Punisher returned it was great, looked really good, angsty, you know, that sort of, that sort of angsty, what is it? It's like a beaten wisdom, I want to say. You know, what that guy, what they've done with the Punisher in the Marvel series, interacting with Daredevil and interacting with other
Starting point is 00:14:43 characters in a way that he doesn't in his comics very much. He's kind of like a Grim Reaper in the comics. There's a little bit of self-reflection in some of them, but for the most part he's like the Grim Reaper. He shows blood, guts, bombs, you knowthal iteration has this kind of tactical beaten wisdom, this worn wisdom, you know what I mean? He's got the wisdom because he's gone through it in the ugliest ways. He's dished it out in the ugliest ways.
Starting point is 00:15:21 And in doing that, kind of reduced humanity down to like the core you know what I mean like these core things in humanity and he helps Matt Murdock out with that in the latest Daredevil. It's cool, the show's slow I mean it's slow it's kind of a lot of build up into something big that's gonna happen but we're halfway through the season almost and not much has happened, you know. It's... if The Punisher weren't in the series I wouldn't be watching it. But I never thought we'd see him again because he is the most... he is the most hated of all superheroes in this superhero age. What the mainstream media and
Starting point is 00:16:09 what the sort of anti-gun crowd intermingled with the comic books crowd has done to the Punisher is hilarious. It really is like watching them bend over backwards to accommodate the wokeness. It has been really, it's been comical like everything else that the lunatics in our society have done. It's been comical. We should talk about it because there's I go into these worlds guys Right now I'm like really getting into the warhammer world and I'm telling you the virus of the wokeness is everywhere I mean, it's dying off it seems like but it has it spreads into everything and then they get in there and they start you know finger wagging telling you what needs to be be done. And it's in a lot of places. I'm not sure if it has to do with youth. I'm not sure if it has to do with fringe. Like this is a fringe community or whatever.
Starting point is 00:17:22 The Punisher gave up his firearms in the comics because in the early 2000s, well, yeah, I think it was in the early 2000s, there was this come to Jesus moment between the cops and the Punisher, where the Punisher told the police in the comics, hey, you're not me. Stop wearing my symbol. Right? Because they were like putting it on their AR-15 and all that kind of stuff. And he was saying, in the comics, because some cops dig the Punisher in real life, whatever. Can you imagine taking a guy who works 40, 50 hours a week as a police officer in what is the most high stress job high stakes job there is
Starting point is 00:18:06 And he makes I don't know what they make but it's not like tremendous And telling him like you're not allowed to like this comic book character because he shoots people in the comics And we think if you watch a show where guy shoots people in the show Or read a comic book where people kill where he kills people in the show. You might be more likely to kill innocent people, possibly. This is in the age of nudity and violence and everything. See, this is the hilarious part about the Punisher situation. The hilarious part about the Punisher situation is that
Starting point is 00:18:41 only one character is not allowed to be included or not allowed to be violent. And it's because his superpower is tactics and firearms. The game Fortnite, you guys know Fortnite, right? It's kind of like dying off, I think, now or dead. I don't know. It's certainly dead in my household. Nobody played it. We used to play it like crazy.
Starting point is 00:19:03 Nobody played we used to play it like crazy. Nobody plays it but The game of fortnight put every character every person Deplorable or otherwise that they could in the game There's it's every co-lab that ever could happen They charge kids $20 so that they can have a skin that looks like and you know There was a time when they were doing really good. They put the Terminator in, they put the Predator in, they put some really cool X-Men characters in.
Starting point is 00:19:31 Fun. You know what I mean? It was fun. And I remember sitting there, and around about this time was when the police and the Punisher thing kind of came to an end. And the new thing was Punisher's going to become a samurai. He's going to give up his guns. He's going to get a new symbol. They had to get rid of the symbol. See, the symbol itself is deadly. You see that symbol, man? You just get, it's
Starting point is 00:19:54 like the potion from Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. You see the symbol, you start to transform and just go shoot people. So they had to get rid of the symbol out of the comic book. So they put some stupid samurai symbol with tusks dumb and and he became a samurai guy. But the Punisher's just a normal dude. So now he's a samurai guy. I didn't read this so I don't know. I have no desire to read this stretch of comics. They turn him into this samurai guy. He gets some kind of power from an assassin group. I think it was the hand. And that's the new Punisher. And you're just watching it from a distance, like this slow motion train wreck of an attempt to socially engineer a character who was born out of a Vietnam-era comic, a Vietnam War veteran, who returns home, his family gets killed, he exacts justice through hot lead and explosives.
Starting point is 00:20:53 And they're trying to turn this guy into a more acceptable, more blue hair readers. You know what I mean? And it just was so fun to watch but simultaneously embarrassing and I remember sitting there with my kids and being like You know One of those moments where I'm waiting for the punisher to come to fortnight because everybody's every marvel catch spider-man everybody who and just so you know Everyone in fordite if you're completely unaware carries guns
Starting point is 00:21:31 so you can put like Unikitty from the Lego movie in there and she's walking around with an air right you can put Nikki Minaj in there and she's walking around with an AR-15, right? So to me, it was like, I'm using my common sense brain. Any day now, the guy who literally lives with AR-15s, grenade launchers, shotguns, MP5s, you name it, he's going to show up in this game. Because the game is built around shooting the enemy, right? That's what it is. Call of Duty? Any day now. Because the game is built around shooting the enemy right? That's what it is call of duty
Starting point is 00:22:05 any day now and Any day the punish is gonna show up in Call of Duty, right? It's never happened It's that they turned the guy into a ninja It sucked. I'm sure nobody bought it They never let him into these video games it. They never let him into these video games because he literally uses guns in comic books. He's not even a real person. He's a comic book character who police officers and military guys can relate to. He's a veteran by the way. In
Starting point is 00:22:36 the story he's not real but in the story he's a veteran. They have something to do with it. He's a veteran family man-ish who loses his family. Probably the top fear of a lot of guys who are LEO and army vets or in the military. You wake up, I got to imagine, I was never in either of those positions, but I got to imagine you wake up and a good portion of your inspiration for the day is your family, right? I'm doing this to keep them safe. This sucks so much But I'm doing it to keep them safe So you can see the connections right easy. I Guess it wouldn't be as silly or as bad if
Starting point is 00:23:29 silly or as bad if you could kill people, if killing people in general was different on TV and movies. If we all looked at violence and was like, ooh, maybe we need a little less violence. But if you use telekinesis, you can rip arms off people, legs, rip their heads off. If you watch horror movies movies like what's the terrifier right the terrifiers the most gory and ridiculous shit there is super popular no problem you could kill people with swords chop their limbs off whatever it is it's great it's great television what's it called what's the dragon show called I keep thinking Lord of the? What's the Dragon show called?
Starting point is 00:24:05 I keep thinking Lord of the Rings. You know, the Dragon show on HBO, everybody loved it. I never watched a single episode. But they go, bravo, it's great television, we love it. A guy from the Bronx with his hair slicked back with a skull logo on his shirt and an AR-15 is persona non grata. You can't have him. He can't exist. Do you know what I mean? Because he's tethered to the military to some
Starting point is 00:24:32 degree, to the LEO to some degree. They put him back out again. Now this story goes on and on. I ruminate on it all the time because I think it's just to watch these people contort themselves in a way Can we get the Punisher into? When no one who reads the Punisher cares, you know but uh They brought him back as like this futuristic blonde haired guy Who has a girl boss, of course
Starting point is 00:25:04 Who has a girl boss of course And he has a laser gun now he's exacting justice with a laser gun, but it's not an AR-15 Okay, so it's all good It was so nice and so timely in Donald Trump's America to see this on Disney Plus, okay? It was so nice to see this show up on Disney Plus, to see Frank Castle. And now here's the plot twist, okay? Here's the plot twist, and this is what I'm a little nervous about. The one thing that I didn't notice in yesterday's show was this tethered to the Punisher himself. They found a shell casing with a Punisher
Starting point is 00:25:47 logo on it in the show and it was tethered to the police. And the guy who, I don't want to spoil things for you even though most of you are probably like, dude I would never watch the Daredevil show on Disney Plus if you paid me, if you gave me a free bag of disaster coffee, I still wouldn't watch it. I'm not, you know, it is what it is. I wouldn't be mad at you for it. What they're copycats, copycat punishers in this storyline. I think there's a lot of them.
Starting point is 00:26:18 I think the Punisher, hopefully this doesn't happen, but what I think may happen is that the Punisher is gonna give up on this logo. Because it is a Disney Plus, so we have to be real about what we're dealing with here. He's gonna give up on this logo, and he's gonna go kill all the Punisher wannabes, and that's gonna be that. And that's gonna be very lackluster for me. You know, I'd much rather see him pull on the flak jacket with the uh, not the flak jacket, the chest rig with the skull and go kill Wilson Fisk
Starting point is 00:26:52 with a point blank shot to the face. You know, it's, it happens in every movie anymore. Every movie is like over the top violence and gore and all that kind of stuff And I just think it's so funny that we've only chosen one guy To look at with a sour thing. Hmm. I don't like that Punisher. We need to change him. Hmm Star-track of Punisher Star Trek of Punisher. I like that Jayfer Yeah, okay rant over rant over that was 10-15 minutes on the Punisher. Like I said, wherever my heart lies today is what you're gonna get. If you don't like what I'm talking about, put something else in the chat room. But I'm just kind of, you know, whatever. It's not really that excited about what's going on in the world. We had the ceasefire
Starting point is 00:27:44 deal that lasted all of five minutes, right? Trump and Putin met. I still want to know what happened there. You know, in my, in my heart of hearts, it seems like it's Kiev in action. I'll be very interested to see how that plays out. And if you're unaware, Trump met with Putin yesterday, two hour meeting face to face face the meeting that Joe Biden could have had for four years and never once did. Why? Because we had to launder money
Starting point is 00:28:12 through Ukraine to make sure it got to all the oligarchs who got his son a job to make sure it got back into his pocket and his you know who knows who else what other characters. So they ran the money money laundering job under Biden for a long time. Putin probably sat there and laughed. He knew what was going on, I bet. But they meet yesterday and Putin and him talk about a ceasefire through the air and a ceasefire on infrastructure and energy infrastructure. And hours later, there are drones in the sky attacking infrastructure in Ukraine.
Starting point is 00:28:52 In my head, it seems like the Ukrainians are unwilling, despite what Voldemort is saying, I think the Ukrainians are kind of unwilling to call it. I listened to some soldiers yesterday talk about it. I think that in their minds, they believe that Russia's never gonna stop. And I think that's kind of the message over there. That's what I get.
Starting point is 00:29:14 What I get is we're gonna fight and we're gonna fight to the last man. Russia's never gonna stop coming. I think they might even believe that they truly are a buffer between, that it's a valiant effort because they are a buffer between, you know, that it's a valiant effort because they're a buffer between them and Poland, between Russia and Poland. You know, there are people who believe that Russia is going to go into Poland.
Starting point is 00:29:35 Russia is not going to go into Poland. This is never going to happen. Not in this context, in this war, maybe someday, maybe, nothing it's not happening. It can't happen They've been thwarted lost a lot of men and a lot of machinery by Ukrainians who are largely untrained. They're better now and a bunch of weapons And drones sorry mother sneeze so if you think they're gonna like roll into
Starting point is 00:30:16 Europe and start a war with Poland who's, you know, there's no pushover, get NATO on your ass, like that's why would he do it? Why? He wanted the buffer zone, he got the buffer zone, that's what he wanted, that's what he got. That's what he's gonna wind up with. Voldemort! He's gonna wind up with it. Forget about Donetsk, it's a wrap. There's no... it's not gonna go any other way. Firewolf. It's not gonna go another way, you know what I mean? It just... it can't go another way. Without a greater war, without American aircraft carriers in the Black Sea. Do you want that? I Don't want that. I tell my kids all the time we watch news in the morning sometimes and I tell them all the time if
Starting point is 00:30:58 If we didn't watch news if we didn't listen to the radio we'd have no idea this war is going on think about it you would never be like oh shit I think that was a bomb going off in in Ukraine I had the biologist on I don't know if you heard to the the agricultural biologist episode was really good. What my biggest takeaway from that thing was, that interview was, there is a felt price increase and scarcity of feed for animals. This is what she does for a living. And a price hike and so forth because of the war in Ukraine
Starting point is 00:31:51 In that it's felt all throughout Europe. It has zero effect on the United States and Feed prices I know because I buy feed every other every couple weeks months something like that. You know what I mean? My feed is not going up hardly. I think feed went up in 2020 more than any other time I'm starting to think that 2020 was a price hike because they could. You know what I mean? That's what it starts to feel like to me because I'm watching all these other things, wars, economic, inflation, and there are things that aren't going up in price that went up in price immediately as the pandemic came into full phase. I don't know. pandemic came into full phase.
Starting point is 00:32:26 I don't know. I don't know. But I can tell you, uh, the ceasefire did not work. What that means. What, but what really bothers me the most in the whole thing is I'm sitting here watching the United States president try to broker peace talks between Russia and Ukraine and the whole world is just okay with that. The whole world is just like, this is the way things are supposed to go. But if you step back and look at, like if you were an alien watching, it's always good
Starting point is 00:32:56 to be an alien. Like if there's an issue going on in the world or in your life or something like that, and it's really complex, the best thing you can do is hop into your UFO, fly up out of the atmosphere, look down on the earth and say, if I didn't know anything, if I had no preconceived notions about how shit is supposed to go on earth, if I just pulled up rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr And I'm looking down at the world and I'm going the leader of this country this big country here is Trying to negotiate peace between these two countries, but their leaders are not meeting
Starting point is 00:33:34 Who is this guy? Why is this guy coming all the way across the world to talk to these two guys? one at a time to try to get their problems fixed and one at a time to try to get their problems fixed. And I don't know, watching it lately has had me thinking that way. It's had me thinking like, why is Donald Trump doing this? Why are we doing this? Whatsoever. Garden Girl and the Lord Fairfax join one after the other. What's going on?
Starting point is 00:33:59 We are, uh... We are just kind of rapping today. Yapping. We're talking Ukraine and Russia and their professional mediator, Donald J. Trump, trying to figure out in this crazy world that we live in, why and how weird it is. How weird it is, right, that the United States president just shows up and stands at the table between two warring nations and says, I'll take it from here. Right? I'll take it from here. I guess you could argue otherwise it gets worse, otherwise, you know,
Starting point is 00:34:39 more people die. And then, of course, Trump ran on this idea that I'm going to stop the war, so now he's kind of asked to. But from the outside looking in, it really is kind of one of those things. You look at it and you're like, what are we doing? Why is America there? Why isn't like Starmor over there? Why isn't like the president of Poland over there meeting with Putin and meeting with, you know, a guy who has like real skin in the game, we might be next go over talk to Putin hey we're not happy with
Starting point is 00:35:09 what's happening can we how do we stop this you know what I mean from the outside looking in like I said if you can clean the slate and really look at it objectively it's really wacky that there's this guy from another nation completely. You know, it's just weird. He shows up, those two nations look at each other, then they go and meet in a desert, by the way. So they don't even like... Right? They meet in Saudi Arabia to talk. Watching this all from the point of ignorance would be like,
Starting point is 00:35:42 what am I watching right now? What is this ceremony that they have where this god-like leader comes over and talks to all the other leaders of the world, or they go to him and talk. Sometimes they go out in the middle of the desert to talk with these other crazy guys who wear these silly pillowcases on their heads. Not that way, but you know the Saudi Arabian guys. What's going on? It's weird. It's a weird thing. It's a weird time, PPM family. That's what it is. You know, we're gonna get a little more into... On yesterday's show about food
Starting point is 00:36:21 storage, we talked a lot about meal time and meat time in community SHTF. Fun. Good. A lot of great discussion there. I'm going to expand on that a little more today on a member's video because Dave Jones, the NBC guy, messaged me last night and he had some other thoughts that I think are worth bringing up, worth talking about. They were very interesting.
Starting point is 00:36:48 I sat and thought about, excuse me, what he had to say, and I was like, these are worth bringing up. We'll bring it up. We'll talk about it. We'll discuss it. Go watch the food storage video, podcast, whatever, from yesterday's broadcast to see what I'm talking about if you weren't here, but it was a good conversation about you know Emergency preparedness at the community level meetup time. Why meet up how to meet up what to provide things like that
Starting point is 00:37:17 Um lord fairfax prep in chat says that trump is doing it trump is doing the meeting With putin because he isn't afraid of Putin like the rest of the world. I'll buy that. I'll buy that. I'll buy that 100 percent because it's a good point. Trump is the first to meet with him. Matt Crone didn't go talk to him.
Starting point is 00:37:40 Nobody else went and talked to him either. While Joe Biden was incapable of carrying on a conversation with him. And I guess the people running the show with the Auto Pen were probably like look Joe One false move we might start a world war. So why don't you stay here? Oh, maybe I can send Kamala and then they start like belly laugh He said he was gonna send Kamala You know, I like that I think think that makes sense. The people probably are a little nervous, not like physically scared of being in the presence of Putin. Maybe that too. Maybe worried about, hey, what's in, what's, why is my coffee radiating
Starting point is 00:38:19 green? What's going on here? What's the plutonium content in my borscht? But, you know, fear of screwing up. Fear of screwing up and then going and having to return back to their country and say, well, I may have pissed the Russians off and the tread of their tanks is probably headed our way. You know what I mean? Because it can go that way, too. Very good, Fairfax. I appreciate that, definitely. It may be time for another community-centric circles talk. Oh, concentric circles. We could do that.
Starting point is 00:38:54 We could definitely get into that again. I can bring up another. We can run that scenario. I think the way to do concentric circles, Garden Girl, is to take your Google Google map and and you know Do it just physically put concentric circles like in word. I mean in paint around your community That is a good one though. The concentric circles of security is Legitimate I mean if you if you really do have a vested interest in your family being safe in
Starting point is 00:39:23 an shtTF situation like establishing those perimeters those concentric circles and and sticking to them yeah fire will forge what if the US just takes the disputed territory and builds it up like you said for Gaza I mean yeah that's possible, I guess. I kind of like the idea of the mineral deal and having Americans at work and having us making money off of those minerals. I don't know. Look, here's the long game. The long game is you have to get Russia back in the game. Russia is Germany. You have to get Russia back in the game.
Starting point is 00:40:12 You know what I mean? Well thank you Garden Girl. I'm glad you enjoyed our Security Masterclass. Available at pbnfamily.com. So you got to get Russia back in the game. It has to happen. They've got to be in the economic game. They've got to be part of the international community. It's dumb that we're dealing with this big giant superpower that is the neighbor of the other pain in the ass superpower by the way. does it make more sense to have Russia be friends with you or
Starting point is 00:40:46 friends with China? You can put, you could create something that works between Europe, America and Russia, right? They already have, they already have been exchanging natural gas and you know fuel for how long? It only makes sense to build a partnership there, to build a really strong bond there, economy, commerce, whatever. Lift the sanctions, figure out how to deal with this country in the long term, and then you put an ally on the border of China.
Starting point is 00:41:29 Right, now you have one of your close allies on the border with China. And like I said, I've said it in the past, they're gonna have their own battles with China. It's gonna have, territorially speaking, right? Fairfax says, the mineral deal is how Ukraine pays us back for the hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars we sent.
Starting point is 00:41:52 Yeah, I think it's brilliant. I like it. I think it's great. I also think from a security standpoint, it pays to have Americans working in your country. Right? This is a deal that every country who has military issues with their neighbors should be going, what can we give America?
Starting point is 00:42:11 Duh. Right? If you've got a valuable resource and you can have Americans come and work with your country and split the profits, now you have American people working in your nation. You have American inspections and so on and so forth. It's not like another country is just going to go, let's just send a fleet of drones over there to blow them up. I mean, they might do that in the Middle East, but again, there'll be repercussions. So, you know, it is what it is. It is what it is.
Starting point is 00:42:45 It is what it is. Something in the age that we live in, guys, particularly those of you who listen to the prepper broadcasting network, things that just make sense. Sometimes like the people, even the people in power don't get it. Even the people in power go like, hmm, I don't know if I like that idea. It makes too much damn sense. So we got to live with that. Some people need to experience, you know, it's just like that cousin or sibling that
Starting point is 00:43:16 you have, that you have to watch fall down the hill 50 times before they go like, you know what, I'll just put the hiking boots on and whatever, you know what I'll just put the hiking boots on and whatever you know I'll do it the right way we all have those people in our family in our life and you know them and you know you could sit them down and say look this is the way you do it you go a B and C okay and and then you won't have to deal with the shit and they look at you and go, okay And then you'll look over and they'll be Rolling down the hill again Some people have to get their heads beat in
Starting point is 00:43:54 Many times before they get it, you know, and I just looks that way to me it looks like The international world is is going through that moment in time where they have to get their head beat in to figure out, oh, this is the right move. I don't know. This is what it is. Thank you guys for humoring me today. It's been fun. It has.
Starting point is 00:44:18 Because I came on here and fundamentally just wanted to do what it is we're doing. Just wanted to talk about whatever comes up up sort of rap about whatever it is That's on my heart and mind and on yours, you know It's uh, you can do preparedness every day, but some days I don't feel like doing it You know what? I mean, and that's the reality of the situation On that note the quails are getting sun. The sum of the garden has been seeded. I'm going to do English peas today. English peas going in. I figured out, you know, managing the sun and where the sun comes and where vining plants go. This is a thing that is, if you get it right, then it's way better for you.
Starting point is 00:45:16 In other words, the sun hits over here for me and the garden is over here. No, no, I did not ask for you to follow me calm down so, you know, it's It's been a bit of a change the way I've set vining plants up and grow and you know plants that I want to make vine Or grow upward Was backwards for a long time So I'd have them going up a trellis this way, the sun's over here, their natural tendrils are then shooting out this way. Right? So the tendrils, for those of you just listening to the podcast,
Starting point is 00:45:54 I was growing vining plants up away from the sun and they wanted to grow out towards the sun, right? So that stupid. Just a stupid mistake, not thinking. So we're gonna change that in the garden this year so that the vining plants are growing towards the Sun. And it's something to consider in your own situation, you know? Things don't usually grow straight up, right? They tend to grow towards the direction of the Sun, whichever way that's going in your garden. So.
Starting point is 00:46:27 Yeah, there's that, you know, the perennials are popping, they're all popping now. The raspberries are coming, the gooseberries, the trees are starting to show some leaves. It's all happening. I've got a peach tree that's got to go. That baby's history. I don't know. The routine is upon us. Every day, the routine is history. I don't know. The routine is upon us. Every day the routine is upon us.
Starting point is 00:46:48 I hope you're doing your routine for the members. We're going to do April spring routine is going to be for everyone, for all. We're going to cut down. What I'm going to do for routines this year is cut down on the options in the routines and just really try to give you what it is I do and I'm doing as opposed to like, I give you the things that I do, but I also give you some things that I
Starting point is 00:47:14 don't do a lot as choices because I'm trying to appease people. But I think what it is, what would be better for the routine side of PBN is to give you a daily routine that is Maybe a bit monotonous, but effective You know what I mean? Maybe a bit monotonous, but effective. I found that out through the yoga this month doing the yoga for 30 days Is it can be a bit monotonous? I hope you guys are doing it. It is a big deal It has helped me tremendously the shoulders were getting weird. I was getting weird pains in the shoulders, right? Oh Man fire will forge the ground. I Got to do a plant walk for you guys because the grits fire will forge has still only have one singular dandelion this year
Starting point is 00:48:04 The ground is so full of food right now. It's unbelievable out that window. It's so full of food. It's unbelievable And I have a whole bed of dead nettle I don't even know if you guys dead nettle tastes like shit, but it's a wild edible. You can eat it It's good for you. I Literally have a whole raised bed of dead nettle It just took to the raised bed once I didn't cover the beds and it just took to it over the winter and it's beautiful You know, it's a sort of a dull green with very pretty purple flowers
Starting point is 00:48:36 But it's It's everywhere, you know, it's everywhere There's so there's so much coming out of the ground the violets the dandel, the plantains, the curly docks are coming, the dead nettle is up, the uh... what's it called? Can't think of what the other scalloped leaf is called, but it's out there, you know? It's all good, man. Oh, Jay Ferg says, uh, dead nettle is great in tincture form. I've never really messed with it like that. I've been giving it to the quails, right? I will turn it into the soil for sure. Good call.
Starting point is 00:49:16 Good call. That bed that I'm talking about, no, no, forget it. That bed actually I think I'm going to take down. So yeah, man, I like, I don't know, you know enjoy this thing If you're not into this thing get into this thing. I saw another meme this morning It was a woman laying in in a hospital bed and she had an IV and a blood bag in her in the blood bag said You know 100 acre homestead 100 100 acre off grid homestead. Like.
Starting point is 00:49:48 This stuff's really annoying me. You have to, this is like really annoying to me. Most people have no idea how to manage. I don't how to manage a 100 acre off grid homestead. The learning curve there is the circle that I'm in right now. You know what I'm saying? Like this is this is a big deal. It's hard for me to understand people that are like I want a more simple life so give me 15 goats, 50 chickens, no electricity, no hot water and everything's gonna be great. If you know what you're doing, fine. What I think this mentality is doing is stunting us. I think it's stunting people
Starting point is 00:50:35 who are more than capable. And listen, everybody within the sound of my voice is more than capable of being a little more self-sufficient. Everyone. I have to give kudos to Jay Ferg in chat for proving that to me. Literally proving that to me. In the craziest of odds. Producing eggs. Jay Ferg, you couldn't be more perfect for the time. It's a story you should open up every podcast with because everybody's feeling the eggs. Everybody's feeling the eggs. I was talking to my sister.
Starting point is 00:51:13 I was dying laughing because she was talking about who the hell's eating all these eggs now all of a sudden. All of a sudden, everyone eats eggs every day. They need a dozen eggs a week. Who eats all these eggs? I just thought it was hilarious. Because until that moment, I'd have been kind of on the same page. Who the hell is eating all these eggs?
Starting point is 00:51:35 But literally, at peak egg crisis, Jay Ferg is... I don't want to give away your living situation, but suffice it to say, Jay Ferg is living with about as small a yard as a person can get if you could even say There's a yard and she has chickens So I have very little sympathy for people who are living within a suburban backyard You know a medium-sized suburban backyard and are, I need a 50 acre homestead to be self-sufficient. No, you don't. You need to get off your ass and get to it.
Starting point is 00:52:11 That's all you need to do. It has nothing to do with 10 acres. My other favorite example is Dave Jones. Dave Jones is in, he's got quails, he's got rabbits, he's got chickens, he's got... he might have ducks, geese, turkey at any given moment. He's got gardens, he's got greenhouses, and everything is like 30 steps or less from his house. And if it weren't 30 steps or less from his house, it'd be a
Starting point is 00:52:45 pain in the ass. Right? What are you gonna, what are you gonna put your chickens a mile and a half from your house? You know what I'm saying? Between Jay Fergie and Dave Jones, my eyes have been so fully open to the fact that everybody is so capable. And it has nothing to do with your land. It has nothing to do with almost anything. It really has everything to do with you and your desire to get off your ass and go do what you need to do. Fill pots with potting soil. Spend some money on good quality potting soil compost. Fill pots up. Put seeds in pots. Put them in the sun. Build some rays. Whatever it is that you can do. But I promise you, you can do more. And what I really caution everybody out there is to stop falling for hanging on the dream that you'll one day have a 10-acre homestead
Starting point is 00:53:48 and you're gonna become, you know, whatever, home on the prairie. Do it now. Do it now. I mean, if it gets you through the day to fantasize about it, fine, but at the end of the day, make the most of what you got now. Because I'm going to tell you from experience, you can have it all. Like you can have all that. You can live in a really cool place and you can have it all. You got to do it. All right, folks, if you're into that kind of stuff, this kind of stuff, preparedness kind
