Starting point is 00:00:00 Society in every state is a blessing. The government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil. The future has already arrived. Hog Butcher to the World. Let's do this real quick. Let's do this right, actually. Let's do it the right way. Hog Butcher to the world.
Starting point is 00:00:42 Toolmaker, a stacker of wheat. Player with the railroads and the nation's freight handler. Stormy, husky, brawling city of the big shoulders. They tell me you're wicked and I believe them, for I have seen your painted women under the gas lamps luring the farm boys. It's 1914, by the way. And they tell me you're crooked, and I answer, yes, it is true. I have seen the gunmen kill and go free to kill again.
Starting point is 00:01:18 And they tell me you are brutal, and my reply is, on the faces of women and children, I've seen the marks of wanton anger, hunger. Having answered, so I turn once more to those who sneer at this my city, and I give them back to sneer and say to them, Come and show me another city, with lifted heads singing so proud to be alive in a coarse and strong and cunning, flinging magnetic curses amid the toil of piling job on job.
Starting point is 00:01:51 Here is a tall, bold slugger set vivid against the, little soft cries, fierce as a dog with tongue laughing for action, cunning as a savage pitted against the wilderness, bareheaded, shoveling, wrecking, planning, building, breaking, rebuilding. Under the smoke dust all over his mouth, laughing with white teeth under the terrible burden of destiny, laughing as a young man laughs. Laughing even as an ignorant fighter laughs, who's never lost the battle, bragging and laughing, that under his wrist is the pulse and under his ribs the heart of the people, laughing. Laughing the stormy, husky, brawling laughter of youth.
Starting point is 00:02:41 Half naked, sweating, proud to be the hog butcher, toolmaker, stacker of wheat, player with railroads, and freight handler to the nation. Good morning, PBN family. That is Chicago, baby, by Charles Sandberg, Carl Sandberg, rather. Carl Sandberg, Chicago, circa 1914. I thought it about the best way to open up a show after the news from yesterday that we might talk about. A rose by any other name would not smell as sweet.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Would it not smell as sweet? because that's that's martial law in my head right martial law in my head has been been that right is what's happening in the country martial law not necessarily is it working necessarily so far um but i just got out the phone my father over the federal government and i can tell you it's never good it's always a dangerous game to be playing the game with the government know it's a mob it's a mafia what would a show be without me fixing the camera right before no coffee today i don't have the coffee i'm almost tempted to run a commercial right now just to go get some coffee but it is what it is so what did you think the windy city 1914 painted
Starting point is 00:04:12 women under gas lamp killers who kill and get off and come back and kill again sounds like not much has changed over there i've never been My father told me to avoid it. It said it's too cold. You know? It says the coldest place he's ever been. So we're not really big on cold in my family. No reason to go over there.
Starting point is 00:04:36 There is something to be said, though, about the violence and the murder in some of our cities. There's something to be said about the locking up 1,600 criminals in Washington, D.C., and all of a sudden crime goes away. and there's also something to be said about the inability to raise a police force and what that means long term right two i mean we're talking 20 20 problems 20 problems right george floyd gave way to this sort of it was it was george floyd it was vaccination it was a bunch of things if you remember and all of them were really just giving way to a world where people didn't want to be cops
Starting point is 00:05:24 it was terrible to be a cop it didn't look good it didn't sound good it didn't feel good you couldn't do what it is you had to do wanted to do all those kinds of things and for a long time on our shows and other shows similar to ours we were running around saying things like what might happen
Starting point is 00:05:43 if we don't have enough cops to police streets right what could happen what could it look like What could it be like? Are the robots going to come do the police work? Who's going to do it? You know? So we find ourselves in this.
Starting point is 00:05:58 The rubber has met the road, right? We're lucky enough to have a president who's going to address the problem. And I don't care what side of the political offense you fall on. If you look at Washington, D.C. and the results and you say everything Donald Trump does is bad, and this was bad too, if you think that zero black people, being killed over the last 14 days, whatever it is, 15 days is a bad thing because it makes Donald Trump look good. If you think that 1,600 criminals being locked up, pulled out of the nation's capital and locked up is a bad thing because it makes Trump look good, look good, look good. You're lost, my friend. You're lost. You're so lost. It's unbelievable. And I'd prefer you
Starting point is 00:06:44 leave the nation you know if you have that much contempt for the seated president and and the nation on a whole that you'd rather see the state cat of the city kept the capital of the nation fall into disarray just so that you can say see i told you see i told you wasn't no good knew people like that growing up in life it's people like that you know in all walks of life the problem is we didn't we didn't use to root for these things we root for rooting on ball games you know what i mean we'd root for superstars or uh you know quarterbacks right and oh i got i'll do anything to see troy achman fail we've gotten rid of all that and now it's all politics all the time pretty boring too pretty boring life to live i wouldn't recommend it be all politics all the time
Starting point is 00:07:37 mentality i wouldn't recommend it it's not a good way to get along but welcome in everybody welcome in instagram we're over on instagram today hanging out what's up we're over on rumble we're over on x we are banned from youtube at the moment and we'll be banned on youtube for another week it was a two week ban i thought it was a one week it's a two week i don't care i couldn't care less youtube it's a failing operation it looks like to me i can't watch anything on youtube without 30,000 commercials. Go get new pipe. If you like YouTube, go get new pipe.
Starting point is 00:08:13 And you'll love it. Trust me. Follow us, like, and subscribe, do all that kind of stuff, man, on Rumble. You guys have been good to us over there on Rumble. About to break a thousand over there on Rumble. Oh, my God. Guys. This world of video content creation is, yeah, it's not my favorite thing in the world.
Starting point is 00:08:34 I'll tell you that much. It's not my favorite thing. the world to be successful in the video world i guess it you get a boss that you never wanted you know what i mean i don't know i don't know what it is maybe i'm just not billed for it i can tell you right now it's i am longing for the days like thursday like tomorrow when we do our members only podcast and i can sit here i have one two three four lights on right now actually this light's not supposed to be on that one's messing up my situation um four lights a camera a computer, a microphone, a headphone, a background. Look, I know I'm handsome. Okay, it's fine. It's
Starting point is 00:09:16 always been that way. But I'd rather have a face for radio, to be honest with you, because I like to do the podcast. I don't know. So the reason I say this following when I tell you guys to like and subscribe is because I'm always aware of when I'm going to be done with stuff. You know what I me like i'm always aware and i hope you're aware of this too i get little signs and little signals of like james isn't too into this this shit might go away you know what i mean and that's exactly how i feel about video most of the time most of i get on here i have a good time i talk to some of you guys who pop in and comment and that kind of stuff and sometimes we have good chats and all that but like if you're not following if you're not subscribing if you're not subscribing
Starting point is 00:10:06 if you're not liking and that kind of thing, just do it for me, okay? And it will prolong all of this video making because I, you know, in all actuality, probably the thing that we'll be doing in five years' time is talking to you face-to-face if you're into what we do. You know, that's the long-term goal because the digital world makes me very nervous for the long term. It's a very, it has been infected by artificial intelligence in a way that I don't know if it can come back from.
Starting point is 00:10:36 I really don't. I don't know if it could come back from it. Don't miss Friday show be reading the newspaper live. Don't take it for granted either. I'm telling you right now, don't take the newspaper for granted. Some things just happen, you know what I mean? And they're so good. It's hard to even imagine. I want to paint a picture for you. I almost did like a real, I should have. I should have.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Go with your gut, folks. Don't matter how crazy it is, no matter how weird it is, no matter what other people think, okay, go with your gut. Because moments are fleeting, they disappear, then they're gone, and then you regret. I'm sitting on my couch, okay? There's a pit bull across my midsection. And in my left hand, I'm leaning the paper up against the pillow, the newspaper, right? I'm leaning a newspaper up against the pillow. my son's doing decimal point work for homework and he's laying on the couch on the opposite side
Starting point is 00:11:38 propped head up book writing right my wife's in a chair adjacent to me and what has happened with the newspaper is I wind up sitting on the couch we have these moments like sitting in the living room reading the newspaper and I get flabbergasted because it's actually interesting you know it's not like i don't know like perusing the internet is all about headlines and getting your attention and the substance is almost never there anymore right it's very rare you like click on something and read it and you go like that was a when's the last time you clicked on something on the internet and went that was a really
Starting point is 00:12:15 great read right doesn't happen for me hardly at all so i'm reading newspaper i mean i start reading it out loud we start talking about it i start reading headlines and oh my god can you believe blah blah all that kind of stuff and i'm sitting there and like looking around at this whole thing and i almost told my wife hey take a picture of jake leaning up doing his homework and me sitting here reading the newspaper like it's some weird 1990s throwback image right um but i didn't and i went on reading the newspaper and i should and i should but what i'm telling you is it changes stuff man it definitely It definitely changes something, the dynamic.
Starting point is 00:12:59 You bust the newsprint out, put the phone down, bust the newsprint out, and start reading it in the middle of the living room in front of everyone. And it's just a, it's a thing. It's a thing. I don't know. It's a beautiful thing. It really is. But we'll talk about all that, right?
Starting point is 00:13:17 We'll talk about all that. meantime go to pbn family.com okay go to pbnfamily.com get your hands on a membership it's national preparedness month right it is national preparedness month there's no reason not to get your hands on a membership right for $50 have used the promo code prep on prep on promo code and you can get an annual membership at PBN and all the great courses and articles and videos and podcasts and documentation and meetings that we do for the whole year. Starting point is 00:13:59 All of our members, they love what we do. And, hey, you might as well, right? You might as well. You've got to take this preparedness thing seriously. On another note, we have our friends over at Lima Tango Survival, the incredible, really, really the sort of ultimate backpack producer you know what i mean if you're looking for pre-made survival bags and backpacks like these guys they just do it man they really do it and i have what two three four five pieces of of lemitango survival gear every one of them has astounding quality every one of them has
Starting point is 00:14:41 incredible an incredible thoughtful sort of uh breakdown of gear look if you're you You don't want to get it. I mean, their prices are insane, too, if you ask me. But if you don't want to spend over $100, you want to spend under $100 for preparedness. This is my little bouquet. This is my bouquet here of preparedness. This is their everyday carry kit. It's called the EBC kit.
Starting point is 00:15:05 It's a little pouch. Packed, man. Packed. Fire starting, food, water. One of the coolest little survival manuals you'll ever see, right? The outdoor survival guide, phenomenal. Little pen light in here. here. Chem lights in here. Right. We got it. We got the incredible survival hanky. I've
Starting point is 00:15:24 showed a million times on the show. We got, and here's, here's where the Lima Tango guys do things that are incredible, right? This is the Lima Tango detail. This is the Lima Tango way. Right. So it's winter. Winter's coming. You're trapped in the car. You want some heat. This is not a heater, but it provides some heat in an emergency situation, right? But they vax seal their stuff. They vac seal their stuff so that you have it. And, you know, it's going to be there when you need it. Let's make a mess.
Starting point is 00:15:57 Let's make a mess. You got an emergency pouch of water also vac sealed, right? Very cool. Very cool. What's this, mylar? We got a mylar blanket in here, also vacuum sealed, right? They didn't come this way. They didn't ship from China this way.
Starting point is 00:16:12 This is what they do when they get the products. You got some food. all kinds of good stuff man and this thing's like 75 bucks or something here you go here's an amazing one here's an amazing thing that they do in all their kits right you get this in their first aid you get this in all their kits um you take anti diarrheal triple antibiotic ointill aquatabs ibuprofen acedaminophen bandages alcohol prep pads they take your first aid OTC medications, and they put them in another sealed bag. Altogether, vac sealed, protected from water.
Starting point is 00:16:55 You drop that thing in the water. You get in a car accident or whatever the situation is. Nothing's getting wet that you don't want to get wet. This is not the standard. This is the Lima Tango standard. You understand it's a different thing. Limitangosurvival.com, check them out. They do amazing work.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Like I said, that thing's like 75 bucks. Under $100 for that level of preparedness. Perfect. You take this thing. What do you do with this? You got a wife. She don't want to carry a bug out bag, right? I'm not putting a stupid backpack in my car.
Starting point is 00:17:27 Okay, honey, fine, fine. Put this in there. Just put this kid in there, this EDC kid in there. It gives you all kinds. Put a couple, you know, put a burner cell phone in there for or something like that. A mesh-tastic, whatever. Whatever you want to add to it, you can add to it. There's plenty of room.
Starting point is 00:17:43 and it's National Preparedness Month. Guys, this is the month to do this stuff. This is the month to sit down and commit to this kind of stuff. Okay? Or not, or not. Or you can live your life a mess. You know what I mean? Nervous about everything, scared about everything,
Starting point is 00:18:00 because the world is a crazy place right now. You know, I want to show you how crazy it is. I got to listen to this, though, because it's phenomenal to listen to. I just got to hear it with you guys. It's so good. But the guy, so Putin and Kim Jong-un and ill, and we had a bunch of losers' meeting. And I hope you guys can hear this. I guess you can. Right now, a massive parade underway in Beijing is the Chinese president, Xi Jinping, is showing off his country's arsenal.
Starting point is 00:18:31 Look at my drones and to the world and to the more than two dozen foreign leaders who were there in person attending. Look, we got the Iranian president there. We got Kim Jong-un there. In a speech, just a few moments ago, President Xi warned the... We got all the... Now, what I really love about this, guys, what I really love most about this is how... Let me make it bigger, because I can make it feel big for you guys, is how they love it. So how extensive this military parade is so far.
Starting point is 00:19:00 What's clear to you from the message that China is trying to send tonight? This is a message of strength. This is... Remember Trump's parade? message of victory after all they are commemorating the 80th anniversary of the surrender of japan china was a major battleground in world war two for eight long years uh to the tune of perhaps around 20 million chinese casualties during the japanese military's invasion and occupation the gushing over the parade by cnn and this is a demonstration to uh china and the world uh that
Starting point is 00:19:41 China is strong, it can protect itself, and that Xi Jinping is the ruler of this country. He has just done a review of the troops in his presidential limousine, and now we're being treated to scenes of uniformed soldiers with helmets, you know, jogging alongside tanks and other military vehicles and jumping into them. We're seeing drones on display, and they will be. part of the parade that is at hand here you know katelyn i think on the one hand this is a demonstration of uh chinese military muscle and uh okay i've had enough of that that's enough of that i don't know it blew me away it blew me away listening to this stuff guys because uh you know don't know don't trump having his parade was insane it was absolutely crazy right it was like a dictator hard it was like it's like adolf hitler and then i saw this clip just watching the news on youtube and
Starting point is 00:20:43 everybody's like the cnn folks are all gushing at the look at the military might and their ability to protect themselves and they've talked a lot about bullying that's happening with rush they go on and on and on it's wild i just thought it was worth watching i thought you'd appreciate it i thought you'd appreciate the sideways nature of cnn what's amazing about cnn is how they never learn that's what's truly amazing to me about seeing they never learn you know what i mean they failed over and over and over again over the last five years at minimum and lied and lied ratings continue to plummet but they just keep at it they just keep at it man it is it is kind of impressive when you think of they just keep going they just keep at it and they keep
Starting point is 00:21:33 going and I don't know in some ways you got to applaud them some way you got to say congratulations you guys are in some ways relentless in some ways you're relentless as well so man look at people flying into this thing welcome in everybody over there at instagram a lot of you popping in so what else you want to talk about the dollar apocalypse got a really cool book over here i haven't really gotten into it completely but um talk lemitango i do love this little pen light though this thing's cool this is an edc flashlight this is a top notch edc flashlight why not because it's branded not because it's something silly not because it uh has some kind of magic feature or something it does have a pretty cool pretty cool little uh yeah we can
Starting point is 00:22:31 We can focus the light. Why it's cool is because it's little. It's got a clip for your inside of your pants pocket, right? And it works. That's it. You know what I mean? It's easy. It's small.
Starting point is 00:22:44 It's out of the way. This is the type of light that you would carry every day if you were carrying a light every day. Functionality, folks. When it comes to preparedness, like, I cannot tell you how important functionality is and how important preference is right you watch guys on youtube watch guys like me talk about prepping and that kind of stuff i don't do it i've always been kind of i've always been kind of put off by gear talk i don't know it's just not something that really excites me a lot um but i think one of the reasons that i've always been put off and i don't do a lot of gear talk is because i don't know
Starting point is 00:23:25 what the hell you like right i could tell you the things that i like and that i use And that's okay. But even then, I can tell you of multiple things that I've purchased over the years that people have told me are the best. Bought them, tried them, put them in a box for extra backup, whatever, you know, all that kind of stuff. For a few years, I carried the Olight S1R flashlight, you know, the most popular prepper tactical flashlight that there ever was. everyone was talking about it years and years ago and for years you know I carried that thing and I barely ever used it I barely ever used it and matter of fact I wound up working in a facility where I was doing inspections and I bought a completely different flashlight for the
Starting point is 00:24:18 inspections bigger more did more of what I needed it to do was re you know recharge well the S1R was rechargeable too the added trouble of buying an expensive flashlight and this is why I didn't use it as much is I don't want to take it into work if I take it into work and lose it they're not going to reimburse me for
Starting point is 00:24:40 it's my personal flashlight right I don't want to take it and take it through some kind of harsh environment or something like that and written you do see what I'm getting at I've found over the years man
Starting point is 00:24:54 that there are a lot of things there are a lot of little holes that you can plug with cheap stuff that does everything you need it to do i mean just is what it is it doesn't make for good videos it doesn't make for good affiliate links to make a bunch of money by telling you to buy a thing that's three times more expensive than what you need but i wind up getting a piece of that action so it's good you know it doesn't set me up for that kind of a life um but it's honest it's the truth right it's the reality of it it's the reality of it's the reality of it's the
Starting point is 00:25:28 of it i use and have used for years kershaw blades cheap work amazing for years right i could i could have got into spider co i could have got into bench made and told you you need a bench made because they cost $450 and i get 10% right i don't know the stuff that works for me is the stuff that i use and that's this you know that's what works i carry a small gun I don't carry a big Glock you know what I mean like it's I don't know I just I just want to impress upon you there are a lot of people out there tell you what to do what to carry how to do it you know and that kind of stuff and preference is key comfort is key when it comes to carrying gear if it's too expensive if it's not comfortable if it doesn't work for you what's going
Starting point is 00:26:23 to happen okay I can tell you your future what's going to happen in a situation like that is you're not going to carry it. So now you're two times an idiot. Now you've spent the money on something expensive that you probably could have got something half the price. It's just as good. And it's too expensive or too obtuse and doesn't do what you wanted to do. So you're like, I don't want to carry it either. You know, I don't want to carry it either. So now you got this thing sitting in a drawer at home, right? I don't know. Beware of it. That's all I'm telling you. It's National Preparedness Month.
Starting point is 00:27:00 There's going to be a lot of people throwing stuff in your face. Do this, do that, buy this, buy our food, buy our freeze-dried food, by our optics, by our whatever the hell it is, right? You've got to be real careful about freeze-dried food. You've got to be real careful about that stuff. You've got to really, really wrap your head around what you're going to use that for. I think the best mentality you can take with a freeze-dried food storage, right? Freeze-dried food storage meals. you know the the the big names the ones that you know the best thing the best way to frame them
Starting point is 00:27:35 is these things are a vehicle for uh other fresh items other proteins other whatever's in my life that i eat regularly that's what i learned through rationer ruin through a ration a ruin challenge is the way that freeze-dried food storage really shines is basically as a filler i mean i mean that but in all honesty it's a filler that's what it is it's filler standalone it ain't it ain't enough it's not enough calorically it's not enough it's not enough it's not good enough it doesn't taste good enough in most cases right what it does really well you know you you you you do one of their vegetable soups or whatever it is. Not too bad.
Starting point is 00:28:30 You add a couple poached eggs from the backyard. Very different animal. Very different animal, right? You take one of their textured vegetable protein chilies or chicken chili or whatever the situation is like that. Okay, not too bad. But if you can bake cornbread at home, right, because you've stored sugar, you've stored cornmeal, you've stored flour, right? so you can bake cornbread. Now you've got a meal.
Starting point is 00:28:56 Now you've got something worth talking about. Even if the chili's eh, you know what I mean? You can eat it with the cornbread and it adds a layer to it. So just be careful out there, folks, right? Be careful out there because it's a month long. And believe me when I tell you, based on the emails I'm getting from companies and people and other. Oh, my God, I kick the camera. based on the interactions I'm having with a bunch of different people in the biz
Starting point is 00:29:23 it's a great time to run advertising it's a great time to do those kinds of things you know what I mean to capture this audience a great time to run your whatever whatever special for national preparedness month if you have questions reach out to me you're on social networks here you're on rumble you're hey six ad it's how you're doing I'm sorry to the chat over at Instagram. I haven't been able to really pay attention to you guys all that my, and I guess I could, right?
Starting point is 00:29:55 I guess I could. I don't need to stare at myself while I do my show. But anyway, a lot of campaigns out there to try to sell you a thing. That's all I'm telling you, right? If you want a campaign that lives and grows with you, it's over at pbmfamily.com.
Starting point is 00:30:13 You know, promo code prep on. Use the promo code prep on. Dead DeSandris, my friends often ask me, living in a big city is a flashlight important as an EDC. We have LEDs on our cell phones. Yeah, I mean, it's, again, this is preference. This is a preference question. That's what it is. We're talking about preference.
Starting point is 00:30:33 When you go out, do you have a way to recharge? What's the biggest problem with this concept? I use the light on my phone and my phone dies. Do you have a backup power source for your phone? If you do, then you could probably stand to do that, right? If you think that you're going to pull out a tactical flashlight in a handgun and wander the streets, clear the streets of a major city and not get killed, like, I don't, no, it's not going to happen, right? So what are you going to use a flashlight like that for? Think about it.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Like, what are you going to use it for? Right? I'll tell you one thing. And I've said this 17 times already in the month of September, so I don't want to harp on it. Like, if you need to do things in the dark with your hands, if you need to find things in the dark, the headlamp is key. The headlamp is everything. Maybe a lantern. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:31:29 But what is the benefit of sacrificing this hand? If I have to carry a flashlight, then I'm sacrificing a whole arm and hand. Close quarters weapon, big powerful flashlight. metal body that kind of thing there's some legitimacy to that right there's some there's some thought there but like I said
Starting point is 00:31:56 this comes down to preference the best thing you can do D Desandras the best thing your friend can do right is run through a bug out a short bugout operation plan
Starting point is 00:32:11 boots on the ground bug out bag on your back make your way through the city in a route that you would make your way through the city in chaos and see if you need a flashlight for it. See what comes up, see how long the phone battery lasts,
Starting point is 00:32:27 see if you can recharge it while moving, see if your cords work, if your rechargeer works, see if a headlamp would be a better option. I'm a staunch believer, okay? The last thing I want to do is give up any fingers, hands, arms, to a cause of holding a flashlight
Starting point is 00:32:44 when I could throw a headlamp on, Now, I get it from like a tactical standpoint and that kind of thing, but I just think the vast majority of people are not equipped to even wrap their head around a dark gun fight in a city with a flashlight and a handgun in a place where you're probably not even allowed to have a handgun, right? Yeah, just again, keep preference in mind when it comes to everything that you're hearing about national preparedness. month and what people want you to buy and do and that's why i do content the way i do content you know what i mean most of the time it's stream of consciousness most of the time it's working with questions that are given to me your concepts that are on my mind it's very rare that i sit down and and show you a thing that i want you to have unless it's an exceptional thing and look our sponsors are exceptional they just are faraday containers makes the most impressive emp proof
Starting point is 00:33:45 shipping container you're ever going to see anywhere outside of maybe military they're exceptional the preppers medical handbook exceptional disaster coffee dot com it's the best coffee there is it's it just is what it is and it's the funest coffee there is um lemitango survival i just showed you their bag you know what i mean these guys are the top of the heap right that's all there is hey no problem man no problem i appreciate the question you know what mean so like i said you want access you want information that goes a long way on on various subjects look let's go to pbn family dot com real quick if it weren't if it weren't national preparedness month and i weren't running this great deal i wouldn't be throwing this in your face constantly
Starting point is 00:34:37 but it is what it is you know what i mean it is what it is this is the culmination of work over you know close to a decade or whatever and uh we're real proud of it man you know we're real proud of our membership website because it's geared towards getting you in in the best preparedness shape possible you know i'm not looking to sell you stuff over here i mean i even have a free book nuclear war prepared not scared right free book come get the free book literally look this is what happens even if you're not logged in as a member you come here you click this boom free book you got it okay don't ask me why it starts on page 8. I'm not sure. But it's a free PDF written by a guy who knows everything
Starting point is 00:35:20 there is to know about nuclear, biological, and chemical warfare. He's an Army major. Okay. Great book. Free. Whoops. Didn't mean to close out the whole website. But you can gain full access to this website. I'll be honest. The majority of it is members-only stuff. But you can gain full access to the website for 50 bucks for the entire year if you use the code prep on like it says down below. hit the code prep on and you get access to all this stuff man the annual preparedness master schedule is all about preference whatever the hell you want to get done in a year whatever you're responsible for in a year right planning out your food food is everything right these two documents here are food essentials they really are super easy super quick prep or fit in health
Starting point is 00:36:09 everybody wants to get in shape everybody wants to be in better shape every single thing that I hear about longevity anymore. Now, I do work out, so it's a big part of my algorithm, probably. But everything about longevity that I hear, it's not resveratrol anymore, right? It squats and dips and kettlebell swings and get your physical body in shape. Get your physical body in shape. Get your sleep in shape. Get your diet, you know, free up some sugar from your diet.
Starting point is 00:36:38 This is longevity, folks. And from a prepping standpoint, fitness is. I don't know what you think you're going to do without fitness. I mean, we've done things at PBN challenges, real physical challenges. You know what I mean? Like real physically demanding challenges, real physically demanding adventures. And fitness is everything. It literally decides what your capabilities are.
Starting point is 00:37:11 Like, it doesn't matter what kind of rifle you have. It doesn't matter that you have night vision, right? It really doesn't matter even that you have night vision. Because you have to be able to traverse the world with all this stuff to get from one point to another point. Or you have to be able to even just to shoulder the burden of like you're not going to sleep tonight and you're going to work all day and then you're not going to sleep again because you're on security. This stuff doesn't just happen because you will it. you know what i mean if you think that your will is something i did a whole show on this a whole surviving america on this like three weeks ago your will has to be trained right your will literally
Starting point is 00:37:57 has to be trained it's not a thing like i'm just a strong-willed individual we'll see we'll see right um so we do all kinds of stuff over at prepper fit and health actually i'm do an update on commander creatine aren't i yeah i owe you guys that the members over there this was a fun heavy kettlebell workout the 90 pound big foot kettlebell workout not really for beginners but you can do it with a 25 pound kettlebell it'll get you um we got routines we got runs we got boxing we got kettlebell chest routines a hundred kettlebell swings more routines kettlebells in christ in december we do every december it's a great it's a great workout uh for the whole month the trials of the lin quay that was a fun one too man
Starting point is 00:38:45 Preper fitting out the deck of pain. The deck of pain comes right out of Charles Bronson's workout book behind me there. Look, we've been doing this stuff for years, man. You know what I mean? Like, we've been building this thing for years as a holistic approach at prepping and a holistic approach at improving your life. You know what I mean? ShtF chef, you want to learn how to cook and do those things.
Starting point is 00:39:11 Family gear, the cubicle escape plan. the cubicle escape plan is turning to the cubicle ejection seat when i started this thing it was like get out of jobs that are bad get out of jobs that are like you know making you do things you don't want to do now it's becoming uh you lost your job so what now right the bugout series all our great self-reliance courses freedom members promo code prep on folks look it's all you do go to website pbnfamily dot com start your membership boom scroll down here's your annual $60 you save $10 when you use a promo code prep on okay depends on what you want to do with your life you know what I mean what do you want to do
Starting point is 00:39:56 with your life I saw a really interesting thing on uh I saw a really interesting thing common sense practical prepper is with us over at X hello from Berlin hey wait a second I mean I'm not going to put you on blast on a live thing but I'm guessing and holiday vacation what um so but thanks for joining us either way i'm glad we're we're coming to you coming live to to berlin as well um but yeah it's all about what kind of uh well bravo man that's a hell of a vacation hell of a vacation give us the we have to have you on the podcast when you get back you can tell us how things are in germany um so yeah suffice it to say This prepping stuff, you know, it's not really an option anymore, you know, being ready for emergencies, disasters, chaos, federal troops flowing into your city, into your city, right?
Starting point is 00:40:55 Not really an option anymore. There was a time when it was an option. There was a time when preppers were reaching. We used to be reaching. We used to be like, I think in the future we might have a pandemic. I think we might see civil unrest. I think and everybody else was like, these preppers, man, what the hell is wrong with these people? What the hell is wrong with these people?
Starting point is 00:41:13 None of this stuff is ever going to happen. Nothing bad will ever happen ever again. Housing, crisis, financial collapse, all kinds of stuff happening in the country. And nothing bad will ever happen. So now the headlines are dominated by problems, chaos, interstellar objects flying into your solar system. Right? And the way that you deal with it is prepping. the way that you deal with it is is being prepared is having a base level of preparedness
Starting point is 00:41:46 having being on the path back to stability right building stability through your lifestyle not just through going out and buying things from a checklist which you will notice on our pbn membership side actually there's not a checklist that exists on pbn we're not checklist preppers you know what i mean we're not we don't tell you go buy a generator go buy it again I probably make a lot more money if I had a checklist to hand out that was affiliate linked than all the above.
Starting point is 00:42:14 Don't have it, right? Don't have it because I did this thing from nothing. I did this thing with next to nothing, right? Got prepared, never made a ton of money in terms of like the money
Starting point is 00:42:26 that I could funnel into getting prepared. And I did it because, or I did it using my head and not using somebody else's checklist. How's this product going to work? How's it going to work for me and my family? problems is it going to solve right i appreciate you guys i uh let me do a quick double
Starting point is 00:42:47 take to make sure we got everything we wanted to talk about in today i hope you enjoyed the poem at the head of the show titled chicago couldn't have been better you know for what's about to happen over there we are running a series on civil war for our monthly meeting called the continuity and other membership benefit. If you're into monthly prep or meetings, you really should consider joining the continuity. It is like nothing else out there right now. That's what it is.
Starting point is 00:43:19 We bring a disaster to life, an emergency chaos to life, and we mitigate it in real time, and that's what we do on the continuity, and we do it once a month. And what we're doing right now is what's unfolding in the nation. And in fact, the entire kickoff of the continuity of Civil War 2.0 and the continuity
Starting point is 00:43:39 last Monday or a meeting last Monday was the National Guard rolls into Chicago and the gangsters and the criminals of Chicago you're good buddy sees them coming
Starting point is 00:43:53 and it becomes a firefight and it becomes a really dark day in American history that expands out and swells into a much bigger conflict all over the country there's a layer of fantasy to everything we do with the continuity and then there's a layer of reality to everything we do at the continuity but you'll come away way more prepared right it's the continuity is the next best thing to you getting out and doing stuff right it was my way to push you into a situation where look if you don't want to do the challenges you don't want to do the routines that we do you don't want to physically do the stuff right because not everybody's going to do it it. I've given up on that. You know what I think? I've given up on that. There was a time in my head
Starting point is 00:44:40 where I used to think with the right inspiration, people will do anything. I don't know if that's the case. You know, I really don't know if that's the case, unless you're in their face on a regular basis, you know. If I could call you watching up, call you up once a month and say, dude, where are you at? You're doing your stuff? Okay. If I could do that, then I'd feel better about people doing the right thing but life's busy too you know i'd have empathy there's no doubt about it what the continuity does is allows you to sit around with a bunch of preppers put your heads together and go i'm in this situation how am i getting out of this situation the city is in this situation how's the city going to survive this situation and from that you'll glean all kinds of
Starting point is 00:45:23 stuff we'd have a continuity worksheet you can fill out for each one of our meetings you come away with that and be able to say okay here's what i need to add here's what i need to take away here's what i need to learn here's where i need to get better come join us pbnfamily dot com all right okay folks i uh this means my instagram duties are done this means i uh can get on with the other aspects of my life thanks everybody for joining like i said if you like what you saw today subscribe like do that kind of stuff what goes a long way is uh is our members. Our members go along.
Starting point is 00:46:01 Oh, and support the sponsors. The sponsors are amazing, too. They do a hell of a job for us. Give us a lot of flexibility to do the things we need to do as a network.
