will help you dream, survive, and thrive. And now, here's your hosts, Sarah F. Hathaway and Chin Gibson.
Hello, and welcome back to the Changing Earth Podcast. This is episode number 477
of the Changing Earth Podcast. Hey, Chin, what's up?
Hey, Chin's up, y'all.
Man, it's been a long ride.
Hey, chins up, y'all.
Man, it's been a long ride.
I thought we'd just do the show today, Ken, on the changing earth over the years.
And then we've got some big changing earth news.
Crazy stuff coming down the pipeline.
Talk about over the years, how many changing earth events have you documented oh that in itself i don't well i mean i have notebooks i obviously have notes and notes
endless notebooks are doing the show fires and tsunamis and you name it you probably have called
it out yep we've covered them we started doing the Changing Earth news pretty hardcore like four years ago, I think.
But I'm telling you, time just flies.
I can't believe that the show's been going for eight years now.
And my mom was like, I bet you could count on one hand, you know, the amount of shows you've missed.
I'm like, well, maybe two, you know.
So, yeah, it's been epic.
It's been epic.
But we got more changing earth news to come tonight.
I was just thinking how we've both started in different states.
Yes.
You were behind Iron Curtain when this started.
Now you're in Freedom.
And I was south of the border.
I've now moved north of the border.
And you were like more urban guy.
I was coastal urban.
Now I'm rural mountains. Right. And I was like definitely now I'm rural mountains
right and I was like
definitely more rural than I am now
and I consider it
urban but everybody says I'm still
in the country but I don't think so
yeah I started out
with less than a fraction of an acre
yeah
well over an acre
no it's true
it's true.
It's been a long journey.
I'm going to get back to property, you know.
Oh, I love it.
The wife and I were just walking this weekend on the property just saying it just feels right.
It's so nice to be.
Yeah, I miss it so much, my woodlands.
Good thing there's some nature preserves around, but still, it's just entirely different when you're just immersed in it instead of not.
But that's okay.
That is okay.
We are getting some wind down here right now.
It is crazy time yeah yeah we we were just saying in the green room
where i had snow flurries here on uh friday yeah it's gonna be
so i spent the weekend splitting firewood oh yeah we you know um, this year Brock listened to me and we are loaded up on firewood and we probably won't need it.
But you know what?
It doesn't matter because it's better to be ready than not.
And so, yeah, we got the fireplace all checked out and doesn't look like there's ever been a fire in that fireplace.
So, but last night was a
big miss. That's our new house
and so this
is our first winter in the new house.
Oh, yes. See how it rides
out in the cold and everything.
Yeah.
Yeah. That's true.
So I was looking back over
some of the guests that we've
had on the show.
And, yeah, it stretches on.
Not that I have forgotten some of the people,
but we've had a lot of really special guests.
I mean, Rick has become like my godfather, you know,
Rick Austin. So definitely have to give him a shout out.
And now he's even doing lines.
He's going to be doing lines
in the audio drama.
Oh, episode 14
is out. I didn't even do
what's going on in Changing Earth World, but
episode 14 went out
live, and
Rick Austin is in that one,
so see if you can guess what
character he is.
Yeah.
That was cool that he was like,
yeah, I'll do one, I'll do one.
So, oh, Dr. Bones is coming
back on the show. He will be
playing, of course, Dr. Bones,
Dr. Joe Alton of DoomAndBlo on the show. He will be playing, of course, Dr. Bones, Dr. Joe Alton of doomandbloom.net.
He'll be.
Yeah.
So that's exciting.
Johnny Jacks.
I still stand behind his book.
That's the Anarchy book.
Yeah, it's a pretty solid read it's not a fiction it's a you know it's a reference book pretty much right right but still really really good stuff um people i wish to
connect with again uh kat ellis used to be on the show she was a fantastic herbalist but she um
went towards law.
She actually got her law degree so she could go and make a difference in the
country.
So I'd love to catch up and find out like where she is now.
Cause that was back in the day.
Yeah.
Um,
Samuel Culper,
but he is now using his real name.
I know.
It's weird not to call him name. I know, right?
It's weird not to call him Sam.
I know, it is.
Yeah, you know that story too well.
Yeah.
So, yeah, he's of...
Come on, help me out. He does the...
What's his program?
Forward Observer.
Forward Observer, thank you you i was thinking of uh
um the survivals um compound uh fortitude ranch yeah yeah but uh yeah mike still subscribe to
forward observer that's that's like my more morning newspaper read is just reading his publication. And now he's doing like a lot of YouTube stuff as well.
So that's always cool to be able to see him on there.
Dr. Chamberlain, he, Ryan Chamberlain, he was a,
he used to be on my show all the time for medical stuff,
very much into preparedness medicine.
So I kind of wonder what happened to him as well
of course my father-in-law that passed away you know tr was on the show and what a gift it is
you know to have his voice forever you know yeah so it's such a treat such a treat um phil and then of course dr bones um phil
knows he's actually the basis of gear i made gears character for phil and we
you know with the facebook explosion we kind of fell out of touch and uh so i wonder what
happened with him and and jim cobb was big into the survival
community he writes a on survival magazine now um sadden bradley she was you know the d-mat team
and whatnot that was in louisiana she was cool lady yeah super cool of course jane austin uh Super cool. Of course, Jane Austen, Miss Queen.
You know, she's become like my auntie.
Can't thank her enough.
The brothel owner.
Yes, the brothel owner.
That was the best casting.
I know.
And then I gave her the warning, you know, what this is like. If we want me to switch up characters this will be the time and
she was all on board so uh she signed on for the tj program uh dan lobos amazing man um honored to
be able to have him on my show he's been one of my biggest mentors in my whole life and just ultimate respect for him.
Great survivalists like Ron Foster, Eric Bocher.
They're still doing incredible things.
So is Aaron Franklin.
He is a fiction author as well, but definitely in the know in the world.
Scientists on Yellowstone and um oceanic level rise um frazier shilling was oceanic and then michael poland he was head of uh yellowstone observatory i'm not sure if he is still doing that
job but what a delight it was to get to meet you know these incredible people. James Hart, big influencer in my life as far as survival goes,
and James Yeager, of course, as well.
James Yeager.
Yeah.
Every time I see a flood, I think of that man.
I know.
That was one of the most challenging interviews ever to do.
Yeah.
Good friend of mine, Tammy,
she taught me all about making vitamins,
making your own vitamins,
and how you can do that,
which is incredible.
We don't usually think about,
oh, yeah, we'll just make our own vitamins.
Michael Loftus deserves a special shout-out.
I only interviewed him once or twice, but his backstory, his role in self
defense, really, really influenced my life as far as teaching that to other people as well. I still
use a ton of his material in my presentations on self-defense and anti-kidnapping and sexual assault.
His website is crime-safety-security.com.
Incredible.
This guy was like a boxer in like the Bronx or something, you know, and started seeing
women getting abused and getting taken advantage of and really took it upon his shoulders to stop that and teach women how to defend
themselves.
It was really cool.
Um,
of course,
Phil Rablay,
Kevin Reeder,
Nicole Pellion,
Dave and Lisa Goodwin,
man.
I mean,
that was old school right there. That was.win. Man. I mean. That was old school right there.
That was.
Yup.
Friends that became like family.
Yeah, that was back in my like entry day.
Coming out of the prepper closet days.
Right.
Peeking into the world.
Me running on a treadmill listening to you guys yeah we used to do a lot of shows together uh great people that you know family comes along
and priorities kind of switch they have grandbabies now and everything and uh lisa still
does a lot of stuff in the equestrian world. So that's really been her stick.
But really having her on the show, you know, you start really asking, okay, you have horses.
Great.
How are you going to feed them?
Yeah.
Right.
Things like that.
Fernando, of course.
Yeah, he's an interesting look on a different part of the world right to get that glimpse into like
okay other people are already living what you guys are so concerned about surviving you know
so that's definitely cool um hakeem isler we didn't get even get to see him um he didn't well
the proper camp was rough last year so but, yeah, Akeem, always welcome.
Like I said, good friends of mine like Tim Johnson, James Walton, of course,
Contraptive Commander, Doug, who has become my absolute brother, Doug Hogan,
Ben Brenham.
Oh, important, important piece for y'all.
My book is up for the Walls of freedom is up for best book cover,
which I told Doug, it's basically his win because he's the one who, uh, designed the whole cover,
you know, and really helped me out with my books. And that at that's at all author.com.
If you guys can go over there and vote for my book, that would be insanely awesome.
So that's at all author.com.
If you need a link or anything, feel free to hit me up.
I'm still always available.
Um,
the audio drama is going to keep going and,
lots of programs over at changing earth.
Exciting forward movement.
And,
uh,
so we'll see where it goes.
You guys can be like,
well,
we remember when hopefully Ben Brenham,
Butch Erkston.
Oh,
this guy,
Chin Gibson.
I don't know who that guy is.
Oh,
geez.
Yeah,
Goober.
Butch has lots of great info, guys, over at Hope for Survival.
Yeah.
Highly recommend.
Check that out.
Jordan Smith, she's on PBN in the mornings a lot.
Craig Gow, one of my sisters in life.
Ken Hardy.
I always come back to Ken because he is with, um, the company that does the self
defense insurance. So a lot of my time, um, I spend talking to people about their insurance
liability and yes, this isn't an insurance program, but it does cover you. If you have to
use your skills for self defense, whatever that is um u.s law shield is ken's
company or it is i think ken's with right to bear now the oh is he metal state armory they have their
own similar program i'm gonna have to update has moved over yeah i'm i'm 95 sure that's that he's
moved over there what's it called again we missed We missed him at camp, too, this year.
Yeah.
That was fun.
I know.
I'm going to spend some time chatting it up with him.
He's an interesting character.
Yeah.
Like, Butch, that was another one that we missed at camp this year,
and I wanted to see Butch as well.
Yeah, he was supposed to pop.
He was in the neighborhood, but he never made it down the the road he's been doing so much with relief efforts and whatnot yeah i can't i can't fall
tomorrow so he is an amazing guy um i um chatted up with him constantly he's he's he's a good
person yeah talk about a hundred percent heart and soul exactly Exactly. Butch is Commander Grey on the audio drama.
Yep, he is.
I needed a talent that had really the smarts to pull off Commander Grey
because he is just a challenging role to cast.
So Butch stepped up.
And with all he does
he also gives me lines
for the audio drama.
It's incredible. I'm so honored.
Dave Jones,
Alan Kerr, Brian Duff,
all in the audio drama.
All great people. All my
buddies forever.
An international cast.
Right? I know.
And then
Nicole was just recently on.
Carrie Henson. She's a great
gal. Lots of people
doing awesome things.
You guys can check them all out. Their
bios, everything. They're over at the
guests of the show.
I have a whole page that
has their bios and whatnot and where you can find more
information on them. All right. Yeah, I just wanted to give everybody a shout out because
really, I've just been blessed with good people who could help make the show really the success
that it is and bring so much amazing content to everybody um so we can all get
more prepared you know i shoot i wasn't uh you know i wasn't the one teaching at the very beginning
everything i was the one in the learning seat for sure which i love because i love learning
what about our house band brad, over at Five Times August?
Yep, Brad at Five Times.
And he, to let me use his music on the audio drama as well,
very, very honored by that.
So somebody else we missed at camp,
he got stuck in airports for like 20 hours.
He tried so many.
He tried different airports, different
rental cars. He was trying
his darndest. Yeah.
I know. Just what a nightmare
to get stuck like that and everything.
And then,
I gotta give a shout out to
Jasmine JB.
Yeah. Talk about making it
happen. Holy crap. Right. She's still about making it happen. Holy. Right.
She's still just getting her car back from that ordeal.
Oh,
make a movie out of the,
the trip.
She had.
Right.
I can write that script.
Yeah.
Just another heart and soul person there for the community.
And she does incredible things. and works her butt off all the
time so i she's just endless um energy i swear positive energy yeah for sure for sure so over
the years it's kind of been like uh we started out pretty darn basic as far as just, you know, earthquake survival and building basic shelters, these kinds of things.
And then, you know, as the years went on, we really, really advanced down the road of what the topics were.
um so really if you look back over the years it's just been a pantheon of survival tips survival information stuff that you can use put into practice to help make sure that you're ready
to weather that next storm that comes down the pipeline like we even talked about how to be a good bad guy yes yep how to become a tyrant
yep yeah well you have to know that your enemy your enemy huh right to be able to get a game
plan any kind of game plan and like i said a lot of that is because people need to understand just how sick some other people are and realize it's not all sunshine and roses.
There's some frightening people out there.
So yeah, survival scavenging.
That was actually a surprising episode.
That's somebody I didn't mention.
That was Lisa Bedford, I believe.
The survival.
Yeah, Lisa Bedford.
The survival mom.
Right?
The mom, right?
Yeah.
That was a lot of years ago.
Oh, talk about moms.
Who's that lady?
Oh, we had on.
She talked about losing your children.
That was Carrie Hansen.
Yes, she does lines as well for the show.
But the survival scavenging one was pretty interesting because it was like, what are we scavenging?
What are we doing?
And she was like, is that ethically correct?
What if those people were just gone from their house and like came back thinking they were going to have stuff and you're the one who likes took it all out?
I was just like, oh, wow, that's a different direction for the interview than I thought it was going, you know, but it's true.
So what gets you what gets you thinking?
Yeah, I don't want to harken back to Hurricane Helene so much, but that whole ordeal got me out of thinking about just ordering off of Amazon for supplies because you could come home to having no dirt under your house.
Right.
no dirt under your house you know right being it just making a shopping list is not the only way to prep right and having a a shed full of goods and tools is not the only way to prep because it
might not be there when you need it the more you can put in your brain on how to live with the earth
and how to exist um i just went through my go bag again.
Yeah.
You know,
it was,
it's the new year,
right?
So got to go through the go bag. The change of season.
I was like changing out and putting gloves and hats and stuff.
Right.
The season.
Yeah.
But I'm thinking what,
you know,
I know I'm so much further along the line.
Well,
even though I always do my go bag every year.
A lot of it, when I took it out, I was like, oh, way to go, Sarah.
That was smart.
You know?
But it's like, what would I really need to survive?
That's it.
That's all that I want in there.
You know?
What would I really need to live and survive out there?
and survive out there.
Not any extra garbage, because you'd rather carry the tools to make stuff
than any extra weight that you can put in there.
You know?
So it was a cool exercise to really streamline that.
And, of course, I have a list of things that I need to replenish.
You know, things like the protein bars and stuff like that.
But when I was doing the survival store, we found these emergency ration bars,
and they pack up, they're good for like 20 years, and they're just in like this cube.
So that's something, you know, your protein bars that you buy from the store they'll get
gooey and splitty and stuff after not too long yeah well as long yeah but the these uh ration
bars um are they they're not the best tasting i mean but like when you need to eat, they're there. So, what's another really big shift that happened in my thought process?
Probably from, like, me and my family to community.
Yeah.
That you can't think you and your family, that's never going to work, ever.
It can't be.
A community is a two-phase thing, too.
Community like your band of brothers, right?
And then community like the more people you get in your community, in the prepper mindset the better off your community your
like physical location is gonna survive and the less um i think the less chaos you'll have to deal
because you'll have crazy moments but y'all come together together and figure it out and work through it, as opposed
to people freaking out or going mental on each other, you know?
Right.
So, community, both in, you know, like the little prepper team, and then working with,
like...
Expanded community to have those CERT teams.
Ways to get people with their neighborhood watches.
Supporting anybody who's local farming, stuff like that.
Because the more that you guys can take care...
Look at all these natural catastrophes in the neighborhoods,
in the communities that just roll up their sleeves and get
in and take care of each other are the ones that get through it the communities that are waiting
for the you know the government cheese truck to show up they're just they don't do too well
unhappy and and take forever to get back on their feet that's true
back on their feet.
That's true.
World War II survivors.
I've had a couple World War II survivors on the show.
Wow.
And those have been very interesting
interviews as far as
careful where your society
is going.
Right?
And some outlooks you can't believe that a world world two survivor would have but you know um you can't fault them because they've lived through it
so um yeah yeah so those were some really interesting, very interesting interviews that we had.
Definitely worth a listen to over again.
For sure.
Lots of mind readiness, right?
So it's not just about your stuff.
It's not just about your knowledge, your tangible knowledge.
But if you're not spiritually ready, forget it.
Oh, got a little interference going.
Yeah, imagine that, the heater just kicked on.
Oh, of course.
And like I said, the technology's messing with us tonight.
So my normal setup is not working normally.
So we're just.
Never is, never is.
Mine went off without a flaw tonight.
I was like, what?
All right.
Well, kind of, you know, besides the live caster being shut down.
So any PBN live shows from now on are going to be only on your Rumble or your Twitter, which is cool.
You know, it's a cool way to interact, so no big deal.
I just have a lot of other things on the plate and couldn't add one more to it.
Copy that.
Yep.
Yep.
Got to put the family first lots and lots of shows on why our freedom
is worth fighting for and the relevance of our constitution and why it's such a great way to lead people um although sometimes it is messy you know but sometimes yeah right
usually but that debate and communication and being able to come and find a middle zone is
usually the best for everyone involved like if somebody is on this side and somebody is way over on that side,
usually being able to talk about it and come to some ground in the middle,
that usually benefits the most amount of people from both sides of the aisle.
So, yeah, it's messy.
And, yeah, debates can look crazy.
But I think that being able to have our freedom of speech and have open, honest discussions is going to always be the best for the people.
We just have to keep our hearts.
As opposed to clicking away on social media.
Right.
Being that keyboard jockey who's just looking to rip somebody else apart because you can do it anonymously well
you know again you can never do anything anonymously because the lord is always looking
over your shoulder all right yeah so many shows i'm just thumbing through the uh just the leadership board over on my website and it's just
crazy oh that's the other um really profound um kind of page turn that i made was that
the people learning preparing studying getting their mind right right now those are the leaders in these types of situations
um that's one of the things that i saw at prepper camp we had too many leaders in one spot
you know um so that that gets a little challenging when you have a catastrophe with that many leaders
in one spot but spread them out where they are all supposed to be.
And boom, you know, you have this amazing leadership structure who can actually help a lot of people survive.
Yeah.
Because it's going to be key.
It's going to be key.
Women's survivalship.
Another thing that, obviously, as a female, I'm a little concerned over.
So, again, I always just recommend self-defense training, of course.
Look at what's happening on our city streets.
look at what's happening on our city streets.
There's times in my book when Erica's kids are like,
oh, my mom taught me how to get out of that.
I could get out of that, you know?
And I watch things on TV with what happened to some women, and I'm like, oh, my gosh.
I could have shown you how to, you know,
undo that situation
it's situational
awareness
that's always the biggest start
because if you're aware that's one of the
biggest deterrents
the easiest fight to win is the one you're not in
right exactly
and then even if somebody's gonna
press that forward on you
um there's many many ways to be able to protect yourself um and and training now is one of the
biggest things that you have to do because your body has to be ready for that but also you have
to face some of that adrenaline and stuff when you're not in those types of situations so if you are in that situation hopefully you can calm your nerves
enough to let your training come out and protect yourself so really really important and that's
probably one of the things um that i'll focus on for getting videos out for helping people stay
focused on what's going on not only what the earth is doing but uh you know your self-defense skills
there's a lot i can do to help people there so yeah you're so you're you're very good at that
you just have the the personality and the mindset for sharing that and getting people
motivated.
Understand it.
Yeah.
Yep.
Cause that's the biggest thing.
You have to discipline yourself to get training and then you have to stay
disciplined to do that.
Sometimes accountability is the best way to do that.
That's why I really recommend a class because then somebody's counting on you
being there.
It holds you a little bit more to that
to that end so yeah so much great content over on my website changingherseries.com
and then I'll be coming out with some non-fiction books and whatnot I'm working on those right now
as if I didn't have enough projects on the table, but, but I always dreamt of having the nonfiction companions to my fiction
novels.
So that's,
yeah,
right.
Cause you learn through story.
It's one of the best ways.
It really is.
Any that really stand out in your mind you wanted to touch on well it was funny i would so i waited
this morning had my cup of coffee i was like i'm getting ready you know i'm like i went online and
i was like holy you have touched on everything everything so i i kind of just jokingly jotted down i'm like we've gone from urban survival
to wilderness foraging we've done boat survival to wild to wildfire survival right so water
from yep office preps to vehicle preps and we've even touched on brain brain tanning so
um you've expanded our brain and then you've cured things with the brain.
Well, thank you.
You have literally, your show over the years, Sarah, has brought so much knowledge out to the public.
It's amazing.
And the way you came about it, I mean, I was a fan, and I am still a fan.
I love your stories, and I love the way you brought it to us.
You were teaching us, but you're sneaky about it because we learn by entertainment.
Right.
So I love that concept.
Thank you.
Yeah.
I just think everybody learns better that way.
And I was like, wow, where are all these skills going?
These skills that everybody used to know
and uh now you know meat's not grown in a in a container in the store and uh yeah so it's just
my way of being like okay let's let's keep this alive let's teach it through these stories
awesome all right well let's uh let's jump into some changing earth news like i said
i got some good good material for us tonight so dream survive thrive this is changing earth news is Changing Earth News.
All right, Changing Earth News.
It is January 5th, 2025.
There was a huge eruption off the sun this morning.
It is not earth-facing.
Thank goodness it did not come at us because it would have been big-time problems.
But it did cause us to us because it would have been big time problems.
But it did cause us to go into a proton radiation storm straight away with just the particle activity coming at us. So we are still 100% eyes on the sun because it's just been really, really active lately.
And I don't know if you saw the headlines.
We were supposed to have Aurora Borealis on New Year's Eve.
They ended up seeing that all the way down to Mexico
and it was not that huge of a solar eruption.
So that is scary for our planet.
I'll just put it that way.
That means our magnetic shielding is very, very
low.
There was a chart that bended the other
day over on Suspicious Observers
about the strength
of CMEs that
have come up at the planet with the
level of storm that they caused.
And the two biggest
for us
haven't been that big of storms but they've had a huge
impact on the planet so that that just shows you that nowadays the shielding's way less swarm in the East African rift is going to be a huge story. You have to keep your eyes on what's
happening over there. This is literally us watching a part of the African continent split away.
Mark my words on that one. That is going to split there's been tons of earthquakes along
there it is actively cracking the ground right now i'm not gonna say that tomorrow it's gonna
split or whatever but within our lifetimes this is something i believe we're gonna see is that
it's gonna be like the et Ethiopian island. And even today.
They're doing thousands of evacuations over there.
Because one of the volcanoes is getting to erupt as well.
So that is an actively developing story right now.
Something worth keeping your eyes on.
All right.
December 30th.
2024.
Monday. There was 458 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger biggest
of which was a 5.5 in the south pacific ocean near chile 4.1 hit ontario and a 5.5 hit the
locos region in the philippine it's probably pronounced yokos region but it looks like oh i like local
right it looked like locos it's because it's the double l so it's probably at the yeah sound but
um yeah big earthquake there tuesday 441 if you notice these numbers 458 on the 30th, 441 earthquakes on the 20th.
We did have really large coronal holes on our sun that were aligning with our planet, causing more activity.
But the earthquake activity has been insane.
So 441 earthquakes, 2.0 or bigger, biggest of which 5.1 in the South Pacific Ocean near Chile.
2.0 or bigger biggest which 5.1 in the south pacific ocean near chile and then um um 456 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger on january 1st 2025 6.1 in the south atlantic ocean
that's near the the lord was looking out for us today, Chin.
South Sandwich Islands, buddy.
Sandwich Islands.
Yes.
Thank goodness they could come back in and say hey.
Right?
I know.
I was like, the Lord knew what we were up to today. Sorry, people over by the South Sandwich Islands.
But we kind of appreciated it today.
the South Samish Islands.
But we kind of appreciated it today.
4.7 hit
NorCal in Lake Country.
4.8 hit China and
Ningjia. And there was a
7.5 earthquake that
hit Japan, killing 470
people over there.
So they are starting out 2025
in shelters. And that
was a big event.
And I didn't see it very much on the news.
I didn't hear about that until I went searching, which is crazy.
I could go on with conspiracy, but, you know.
January 2nd, 2025, 390 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger,
biggest of which was a 6.1 in the Tocopilla in Chile.
This caused widespread damage in Chile.
It split this large bridge in half, a big earthquake event down there.
UK flooding happened on Thursday, 150 communities affected by that flooding
that came in from massive rains.
And then, of course, our big story in the United States, from Colorado to Virginia,
looking at extreme cold, heaviest snowfall in over a decade.
Millions of people are going to be affected by this.
Kansas, they saw thundersnow storms, which doesn't usually happen.
So we have some crazy activity going on
across the United States. And it's predicted that this is going to last through January,
is what I've seen. So tighten down the hatches. I've already seen people mass buying products out of stores.
You should have been prepared a while ago.
Milk and bread, huh?
On the shelf.
Right?
Yeah.
So I hate to see it when it happens that way.
So get prepared now if you're not prepared.
It's already not looking good. They're already, it's already
not looking good. And it looks like it's going to last through a lot of January. In the UK,
the rain turned to freezing rain, which is turning into snow, which is blanketing them.
So they're having quite a joyful beginning of 2025. Friday, the 3rd of January, 468 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger, biggest of which was a
5.5. That's in Ethiopia along the African rift that I was telling you about. In just the last
couple of days, there's been 650 earthquakes to hit Nevada, fell all the way into California. So that's always concerning.
Last 366 days, our planet experienced 6,282 earthquakes that were 4.0 or bigger.
That is a lot. We are going, there is definitely something going on it has to do with the pole shift and
the earth um it's it's crazy concepts as far as the crustal displacement goes and things like that
i really recommend you go over to suspicious observers and check out his disaster playlist
if you're interested in what i'm talking about um You'll be right on point and it's really,
really fascinating stuff to see what might happen to our planet. So it's just going to be a wild
ride. Queensland, Australia, they were impacted by more flooding. Kilauea, the eruptions continues
over there. And there was a really big eruption at Fuego Volcano in Guatemala.
Saturday, yesterday, the 4th, there was 406 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger,
biggest of which was a 5.7 earthquake in Awash, Ethiopia, again, along that African rift.
Big earthquake today in Pakistan.
The news is still breaking on that one. I saw a lot of it in Arabic,
and so that's hard for me, obviously, to translate. But that was a big earthquake over there.
Philippines, they're having major rains affect school closures because of landslides and flooding. So they have not been able to catch a break over there. Today, on the 5th, there has already been 463 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger.
There's some serious activity going on.
It's crazy.
Biggest of which was a 6.2 in the North Pacific Ocean near El Salvador.
I mentioned that thousands are being evacuated in Ethiopia.
This is a once,
they thought this volcano was dormant, like never going to wake up again. And now it is just roaring back to life. So it just shows you that there's so much we don't know about our planet and the
possibilities of this planet. So you have to be ready for anything. And the earthquake swarms continuing today. So
that was active news. Like I say, breaking news that they are putting out all these calls for
people to evacuate over there. Okay. So the volcano numbers, 38 volcanoes actively erupting. That is the same as we've been seeing for days, which is crazy.
37 showing minor activity. So that's up two from last week, 38 and 37. It used to be unusual to see 29 in the, you know, um, so the amount of uptick here is just insane.
Um,
24 volcanoes showing unrest.
We're up to 99 volcanoes making noise on our planet right now.
So.
99 volcanoes on the wall.
99 volcanoes.
I'm telling you.
So that is one thing I will be keeping my eye on because,
um,
yeah,
I'll just,
I can throw it in the live chats and stuff for you guys to look at.
And I put up my,
um,
where I watch volcanoes before.
Um,
here,
let me grab it real quick at volcano discovery.com backslash erupting
underscore volcanoes dot HTML.
And I would definitely, would definitely recommend their site.
They do a great job.
Keep in mind this is the volcanoes that are being monitored.
So there could be more on this list that we don't know about.
Underwater volcanoes, that kind of thing.
But absolutely insane.
For that we're up to 99.
I've never seen it before since we've been doing the Changing Earth podcast.
So crazy stuff.
As far as wildfires, Arizona is still a little dry and still a little warm.
So they had one new fire kick up, 1,352 acres, but that fire is contained.
So we're looking pretty good.
It's looking pretty cold, though.
I don't think anything's going to be burning out there for a while.
Well, right as we wrap it up, I mean,
thank you to everybody over the years who've reached out,
that I've made long lasting family relationships. Um, everybody who supports from
the PBN community, like Garden Girl and Silver Streak and, oh, I'm sure there's so many more
that I'm missing. Um, but it's just been a incredible adventure to go on and it's not goodbye it's just pause
um i've got to get some other things focused on and to really spend some time with the family
but um that's been epic and again thank you chin you know, stepping up all those years ago.
And then, you know, you've devoted every Sunday for so long to the show.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you.
It's been a labor of love, right, sir?
Right.
It's not really work.
It's just what we do.
For sure.
So, no, I appreciate it. It's just the end of a chapter not the end of the book
so exactly plenty more to go exactly yeah you'll you'll be hearing from us periodically and uh
i was thinking maybe like a monthly update especially for the changing earth stuff and
what's going on with everything um you know you know, with the planet and whatnot.
So,
um,
doing something like that,
but yeah.
Yeah.
It feels good this time.
I feel good.
I feel fulfilled.
We've taken,
like you say,
we've taken on so many topics and,
uh,
just brought so much knowledge forward and really been that sounding board for people
and helped out a lot of lives.
So last time when I was, you know, thinking about,
oh, goodness, I was going to have to give up my show,
I was so sad because I knew there was so much more to do.
And this time it's like, yeah, okay, we can take a break
because we came really far.
Yeah, that's good stuff.
Yeah.
All right.
We're still around, yeah.
Right, exactly.
We're definitely still around, still in the chats.
We're going to be browbeating Chin and maybe presenting some of the communications information to you guys.
So I know that's happening over on PBN.
So we'll keep browbeating them.
But if you guys ever want to reach out, you want to connect, there's something you want to bounce off me, go ahead and email me.
There's a connect button over at my website, Changing Earth Series.
We'll still be doing the audio drama.
Love to hear your feedback there. I'll be on a lot of,
you know, I'll be over on
the shows at PBN and things like that.
So we'll definitely catch up.
Come to
proper camp and see us in person.
Yep, come to proper camp.
Definitely be out there
this year. We'll be a ball.
And Lord willing,
we won't have any more hurricanes over
the top of us. I know, enough already.
We've had all kinds of crazy at camp.
Yeah, that'd be good.
Just so thankful I had my
trailer this time.
As opposed to a flooded tent.
So that's really, really a blessing.
Yep.
Alrighty, guys. Well, Yep. All righty, guys.
Well, until next time, remember, dream.
Survive.
Thrive.
