Starting point is 00:00:00 I don't want to set the world I just don't even know why there aren't uprisings all over the country Maybe there will be To chase, at least for a moment, Trump and the maggots off the stage There needs to be unrest in the streets for as long as there's unrest in our lives Trump and the maggots off the stage. There needs to be unrest in the streets for as long as there's unrest in our lives. Donald Trump, I think you need to go back and punch him in the face. I thought he should have punched him in the face.
Starting point is 00:00:39 I feel like punching him. I'd like to take him behind the gym if I were in high school. If you're in high school, I'd take you behind the gym and beat the hell out of him. I will go and take Trump out tonight. Take him out now. When was the last time an actor assassinated a president? They're still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump. Show me where it says that
Starting point is 00:00:56 protests are supposed to be polite and peaceful. Can you push back on them? Can you tell them they're not welcome anymore anywhere? I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House. Please get up in the face of some Congress people. People will do what they do.
Starting point is 00:01:16 I want to tell you, George Dutch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. We're going to go in here winning. This is just a warning to you, Trumpers. Be careful. Walk lightly. And for those of you who are soldiers, make them pay. While Biden was at the beach during the deadliest hurricane of the year, Kamala Harris was hosting fundraisers in California. Days later, she posted
Starting point is 00:01:50 a staged photo from Air Force 2. The paper she's writing on is blank. And her earphones aren't plugged in. At least Bush looked out of the window, flying over Katrina. Trump went to Georgia before Biden-Harris. Trump went to Georgia before Biden Harris. Trump
Starting point is 00:02:05 went to East Palestine before Biden Harris. Trump went to the border before Biden Harris. Trump spoke to Lake and Riley's family before Biden Harris. And he spoke to the Afghanistan Gold Star families before Biden Harris. They say 80 percent of life's just showing up. And Biden and Harris have their own jets. So what's their excuse? They can get anyone in the world on the phone in 30 seconds, but they won't even pick it up. Trump goes to you.
Starting point is 00:02:37 Biden and Harris hide from you. Trump shows you that he loves you. Biden and Harris take you for granted. We all know people like that we are your lizard overlords stop listening to these preppers eat your crickets
Starting point is 00:03:00 fight in the streets own nothing your crickets. Fight in the streets. Own nothing and love it. We are the Prepper Broadcasting Network. What's up, boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen? It's me, your boy, L. Douglas Hogan. Man, what a week it's been.
Starting point is 00:03:34 I don't even know where to begin. Actually, you know, I've been away from you guys for at least a month, getting things sorted for Prepper Camp, book cover designs I've been working on my homestead it's just been it's needed a lot of attention anyway long story short i've been very busy but i'm thankful that you guys are still out there and you're listening and that you're here right now and i'm thankful for that i'm thankful for my listeners i'm thankful for that. I'm thankful for my listeners. I'm thankful for all of you out there in podcast land. Thank you for, thank you so much for sticking around.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Sorry for if I had any audio issues there. Hold on one second here. Test, test, one, two. Just want to make sure that my audio equipment's working right because I'm not sounding correct on my audio levels on this end but maybe it's just me who knows man so okay prepper camp 2024 saluted north carolina i survived it um not saying that uh boastfully or anything like that we were all talking about making some t-shirts up those of us that went out there and uh crazy enough to attend it, regardless of the knowledge and impending natural disaster that was heading towards North Carolina in
Starting point is 00:04:53 the process. Hurricane Helene came across, and we were expecting that hurricane to hit us about three o'clock, three 30 in the morning where we were at their camp grounding or camping at, uh, at, at orchard campground in Saluda, North Carolina. Anyway, I was pitched up, uh, just probably maybe 25 yards from my buddy, Ryan Buford. And he's, uh, I'm sure he's listening to this. Hey, I'm throwing a holla, holla, holla out to you, my friend. And anybody else that was there camping in tents, there was some friends of ours also that was there, not just in tents,
Starting point is 00:05:35 but he was in a hammock as I was. And there was others in campers and such. Yeah, it was, we're very grateful that we made it out of there. Let me just tell you my experience while I was there before I start talking about anything else that happened on my way out. We got there. It was raining. It was raining pretty good from the onset of our arrival there.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Thursday, the 26th, Prepper Camp was supposed to kick off on the 27th. I was a vendor and an instructor, so I was teaching on martial law, surviving martial law, rather, and we were expected to be there, have the vendors' vending table set up a day early so we could wake up bright and early Friday morning at registration and have everything kicked off and ready to go.
Starting point is 00:06:26 However, with the rains, and there was lots of rains ahead of the actual eye of the hurricane that was coming inland, the rain was coming down pretty hard, and there was a lot of flooding that was happening already across North Carolina. a lot of flood flooding that was happening already across north carolina uh the docks where we were at down along uh orchard lake was was was flooded they were under we couldn't find some of the boats even in some of the some of the docks was underwater so we had decided or uh or or rick austin uh the host the one that puts pretty much all this together the nuts and bolts of this thing him and his wife jane but i had they decided that we were just going to postpone the originally until uh one o'clock in the afternoon for the rains, well, it ended up being pushed back until 5 o'clock. The rains actually slowed down, so we were able to get out there about 4 or 5 o'clock, set up our vending tables, right?
Starting point is 00:07:35 So we set up our tables Friday morning, and I actually bypassed the hurricane portion of it. Let me go back up here a little bit. Thursday night, 3 o'clock in the morning, the hurricane's rolling through. Tables aren't set up yet. We were going to wait until the next day to actually set up at 5 o'clock, or 1 o'clock rather. But 3 o'clock in the morning, we're there, right, and the hurricane starts to come through,
Starting point is 00:08:05 and I've barely slept at this point because I know that there's a national disaster coming, and I'm kind of watching the weather, not on my phone because there was no signal, but I'm watching the time on my phone, and I knew in advance that it was going to hit us about 3, 3.30 in the morning, so I'm wide awake just kind of waiting for this to roll in and hit us. And it's just pounding. Rain is just pounding down on my tarp. I'm in a hammock wrapped up in a cocoon up inside of there. So I'm warm.
Starting point is 00:08:36 I'm dry when I went to bed anyway. The rain is just pounding, pounding, pounding on top of the hammock. I'm underneath a Dyneema fiber or carbon fiber. No, it's actually Dyneema fiber, not carbon fiber. Scratch it. Dyneema fiber. It's a really strong fiber. I believe at this point it's the strongest fiber known to man,
Starting point is 00:08:55 but I'm underneath it and it's completely waterproof. However, I sleep with a lot of heat, right? So I'm exuding a lot of heat, which is rising, making the underside of my hammock or my uh my tarp warm and the outside a little bit cooler even though the rain wasn't really cold because it was a it was coming in and turning in transition turning into a tropical storm it was coming in to us and so that rain was pounding down and so by the time i woke up i was feeling drops from the um it was not that the rain was coming through but it was knocking the condensation from underneath the tarp down
Starting point is 00:09:28 on top of me. And I was feeling splashes on my face. The trees were waving back and forth. Um, things were falling out of the trees. I could hear, uh, things hitting the top of my tarp, you know, now when you're selecting a place to sleep, uh, as a, as a camper, as a hammock, a camper, you want to look up before you set up these things, in which I did. I was very careful to look up because I actually bypassed one spot that I was going to hammock camp under because there were so many old limbs up there that I was worried
Starting point is 00:09:56 they're called widowmakers. I was just afraid that they were going to fall down on top of me. So, I bypassed that location, went up a little bit further but regardless this is a hurricane right so things were still falling on top of my my tarp i had i had the walls of my tarp strung up pretty tight so whatever was falling wasn't heavy enough to crush me but it did hit it did pound on top of my tarp and kind of slid off and the next morning i saw little chunks of twigs and and very small limbs that had fallen down and hit the tarp and was laying kind of around the area where I was sleeping. But I did that every hour. I woke up and made, well, I didn't really sleep, so I kind of tried to catnap a little bit here and there until something would fall on my tarp and kind of wake me up.
Starting point is 00:10:41 catnap a little bit here and there until something would fall on my tarp and kind of wake me up. But every hour to half hour, I was waking back up again and trying to video log this, kind of like a vlog, which I did, you know, and I uploaded that to YouTube and I made it public. So,
Starting point is 00:10:58 you can find my channel and go check that out. It's not a very popular channel so you might have to dig for me. I don't put a lot of videos up there. Probably some camping stuff, probably stuff probably some tough butter stuff this kind of thing but uh it's uh it's up and about five o'clock in the morning i heard a tree fall so i'm like okay this is uh i've now exceeded my comfort level at this point because the tree you gotta understand this this it's been flooding, flooding in North Carolina at this point. So the ground is completely saturated. The roots systems become weakened at
Starting point is 00:11:30 that point and become, uh, compromised, right there with, with the grounds, not going to be hard. It's not going to be dried up. The roots really have nothing to grab onto. At least it's what there is to grab onto. It's weak because it's saturated wet and the winds are blowing even though i was on the side of the mountain i wasn't getting blown really hard myself but the treetops were and they were swaying pretty hard and my hammock was bouncing down and i was afraid that my weight i weighed 240 pounds i'm afraid that my weight on this hammock was pulling this already leaning tree that was catching this wind in my direction. And I kept thinking about that, got a little nervous,
Starting point is 00:12:09 too nervous for my comfort. So when I heard that tree fall, I got up and I moved out, left everything there under my tarp, moved out down the hill with my flashlight, got back into my truck. And I stayed there for another two and a half, three hours, kind of watching. And the power went out in that time frame while I was watching. Come to find out, there was a young lady from Mississippi. I call her Mississippi. I thought it was kind of my nickname for her, so that's why i ran with um mississippi had um was sleeping in a tent and uh she had felt the lord tell her you know hey get up and move out of this spot and so she did she got moved out of that spot and when the light had come when the sun had come
Starting point is 00:13:01 and the rain had slowed and everybody's kind of getting out remember the tree i told you that i heard fall it was that tree and it had fallen on her campsite where she was at and so that's kind of our miracle story not only did we all survive that and to my knowledge all of us that was there at prepper Camp in Saluda, North Carolina made it out. But that tree falling on that spot where she was at and having her been told how she felt there was a Lord telling her to leave from that spot, and she did. And then the tree fell on that spot. And it wasn't an injury tree. It was a funeral tree, if you follow my meaning with that. So we're all very fortunate we made it out of there.
Starting point is 00:13:51 So about like I said earlier, I kind of went ahead of myself. Five o'clock, the rain stopped. Four or five o'clock. And we set up our vending tables. And it was decent after that. You know, the winds were decent the the rain had had slowed and stopped at some point and uh we enjoyed the entire next day the entire next day was just it was a nice day and there was uh some some rain here and there but for the most part it was it was warm and we were all tired of being soaking wet
Starting point is 00:14:27 because of the thursday and friday we were just all day friday we were just wet and we're tired of it but the rains finally stopped and we set up the vending tables and then we had a good prepper camp for a day but then it started raining again the next that night that afternoon and it kept going and unfortunately because of the weather and the conditions outside of the campground austin rick austin said well we're going to cut it a little bit short and so we can't we canceled at 12 o'clock the next day. Well, by then it was already Sunday. And our Saturday, Sunday. It was Sunday.
Starting point is 00:15:12 And we were going to close at noon. And we're like, well, Sundays usually slow anyway. And it's raining. The conditions are getting worse. And trees had actually fallen down over the roadways, preventing anybody from leaving. And there were some people there, some vendors, who thankfully went out to help. And they had chainsaws with them, which was awesome, I thought. And they went out to cut the ways that they could.
Starting point is 00:15:36 So they cut at least one lane open so we could get in. People could get in and get out. And me and some others ended up leaving at seven o'clock that morning just because we had such a long drive one one of my family family friends well it's a family but they're all my friends so uh left with also at seven o'clock and uh heading towards back to texas and you all know I'm from Illinois. So I had what should have been an eight and a half hour drive. It took me five and a half hours just to get out of North Carolina. And if you go check out the video that I posted on YouTube,
Starting point is 00:16:17 you'll see some of the craziness that I encountered on the way. I didn't record everything. I recorded some tidbits here and there. There were so many trees that was down i at one point uh because i didn't know i-26 was closed so i couldn't take that to get out of saluda interstate 40 was closed closer to where i was at so i couldn't i couldn't connect to that so i my somebody said hey just shoot up to Charlotte, North Carolina, and there should be more options to get out from there. So I drove an hour to Charlotte up 74. And when I got up there, it just kept, Google Maps just kept telling me where I finally had a signal up there,
Starting point is 00:16:57 just kept telling me, go back down 74 and do this, this, this, this. I'm like, so I wasted two hours, one hour up 74, one hour down 74, do this this this this i'm like so i wasted two hours one hour up 74 one hour down 74 just to get back to where i was at originally and google maps says we found a faster route i said sure i accepted it and it was taking me through south carolina and eventually to to uh atlanta georgia so i'm following this route and I get to where I could go no further because there's a downed tree, like lots of trees, actually, that was blocking the roadway,
Starting point is 00:17:30 and they hadn't been cut open yet by the crews. All along the way, there's mudslides that I drove in and out, and I've recorded all that and posted it. There's downed power lines that people are just kind of driving over. It was bad, bad situation. The floodwaters, I mean, it was bad.
Starting point is 00:17:49 And so I had no signal at this point. I lost my signal. I know that even numbers, U.S. route states run east and west, and odds run north and south. So I'm kind of following my tuition. The sun was blocked out. I lost my navigational skills with the sun. I couldn't really see for the clouds and the haze, the fog, everything that was in the air and the sky.
Starting point is 00:18:11 So I'm just kind of following my guts on the north, south, east, west area with the roads. So I'm in North Carolina, and I finally reached Tennessee, right? Actually, I was up where the trees were down and I had to turn around. That was South Carolina. So I went back to North Carolina originally. And then I went, I started heading back down some of these highways. I find myself in Tennessee. I'm like, all right, I'm on the right track. You know, I got to go through Tennessee to get back home. So I come to a T, do I go left or do I right? I'm like, it i like left it was a north south way i can't remember what the what the highway is right now i want to say 25 but i'm not completely sure so i turned
Starting point is 00:18:51 left and uh shot uh south again you know i've kind of lost my direction with no sun and i get back in the north kind of like oh my god this is freaking not working out for me so i turned around and that was like an hour drive. Turned around, shot back an hour in the other direction. Got back to where I had originally met the T and finished an hour in the other direction. And gas stations were so completely full. Like the ones that actually had power. Not too many gas stations had power.
Starting point is 00:19:20 They were almost all closed. I'm running out of gas at this point. I have like a half tank. I'm getting kind of worried because I'm driving all over North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and back North Carolina again, trying to find my way home back to Illinois. And I'm running short on gas, not because I got so far to drive, but I'm just driving in vain at this point.
Starting point is 00:19:39 So I finally get to, I don't know what it was. I find a gas station just literally sitting in the middle of nowhere, and it had power, and there was no customers there. I'm like, what? Like, it was a godsend. So I pull in. I pump my gas tank full. You know, I load up, and I feel I have enough to head on
Starting point is 00:19:59 because I feel like at this point I'm in a good way. I'm out in the open. I'm out of the mountains. And I was a lot of side roading. It was very, very tedious driving. Find a Dollar General store. I kid you not, out in the middle of nowhere. I want to say now I'm on 73 at this point,
Starting point is 00:20:18 Route 73 in North Carolina. And they're like, I go into this Dollar Tree, this Dollar Store, and I just talk to someone, I grab her in a purse, say, excuse me, can you please point me in the nearest interstate? Sure, just stay on 73 all the way down to hit a T and turn left, and that'll take you right to interstate 40. And I knew where I was at this point that that part of interstate 40 should have been open, at least I was hoping it was so i said thank you so much you know i shot back in my truck i drove this is where i drove um through ashville and i saw the devastation
Starting point is 00:20:51 ashville and i saw the devastation i started i was at this point heading towards um newport and uh i knew that interstate 40 i was going to hook up and into newport and grab on interstate 40 and i recorded some of the i mean i saw I saw houses floating down the, it looked like a river. I believe it used to be a road, but it was a river now. Houses, cars, I saw neighborhoods clearly underwater. The devastation, and there's no word I can say that could adequately describe what I saw. It was awful. And then the gas stations I had met along the way, the customers were wrapped around the block.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Probably a quarter mile lines that would turn and then wrap around the block. And I saw three like that on my way back to interstate 40 before i finally hooked back into 40 and from interstate 40 on it was trees down they they had cut them cut cut them like so that we could at least the interstate was open again but you could see how it had been closed because all these trees were across the interstate everywhere trees it was it was commonplace to see trees falling ever not small trees like these are big trees with large root systems like i said the integrity of of the roots in the ground was just saturated with water and they had fallen over long story short it took me five and a half
Starting point is 00:22:17 hours to get out of north carolina it took me 12 hours total to get from where i was at to get home again which should have been an eight and a half hour trip. So it was crazy. It was, it was, it was a, it was a trip. I'm, I'm praying for the people in North Carolina, the Asheville area. I can't believe that, um, that our president and the vice president hasn't been out that way. I mean, they're just completely, and you heard Jesse Waters, you know, in my intro. He's got it covered, man. I mean, where are they? They're completely absent.
Starting point is 00:22:52 I know Joe Biden at one point was on the beach. You know, I follow the news enough to know that he was at least at one point on the beach, completely oblivious, sleepy Joe, doesn't care anymore. I mean, we had no president at this point. For the past few months, ever since, well, the past month or two, ever since he lost that, remember,
Starting point is 00:23:09 he was sharp as a tack, and he was ready to be president, and everybody was backing him, and he was going to beat Joe, and then all of a sudden, one day, on one day, he pivoted on a dime, and he's not fit to be president. He's not sharp anymore.
Starting point is 00:23:23 He's suffering from dementia. The left had to turn on him. And without having any kind of a voting cycle to nominate a new presidential candidate, the left by fiat said, well, it's going to be Kamala Harris. And she was a no-name. I believe she polled literally like 20% approval rating back in the day uh the 2020 race she was awful like nobody people couldn't stand her and uh all of a sudden now the media made her into a left-wing superstar she started holding these uh concerts and calling them rallies started holding these concerts and calling them rallies. Started inviting these, busting all these people in.
Starting point is 00:24:08 So it's all on record, video. People, you guys just do your research. You know, I'm not a newscaster. Don't come to me for the news. Do your own research and go. I tell you guys this all the time. Go watch your own news. Go do your own research and go do your, I get it.
Starting point is 00:24:22 You have to search the dark web sometimes to find anything because there's such a spin on it anymore with the lamestream media, but they're covering for them. They're totally covering for them and they want you to think that she's a superstar. So they're busing and you can find it. Just look it up. They're busing on all these people. They're even paying people. They're even paying people. And you can find this too. This is out there. They're paying people money to come and to hold signs at these rallies. And you guys have seen the AI videos, the airplane with no reflection and all this other stuff. Well, there's a video. You can actually make AI videos too. But where it fails is, where the AI fails is putting reflections, right? It can't do that kind of stuff. And you can zoom in on is where the AI fails is putting reflections, right?
Starting point is 00:25:05 It can't do that kind of stuff. And you can zoom in on some of the AI pictures too and see that the faces are all distorted, not real people. Okay, so I do have conspiracy in this. So if you don't believe me, fine, go look it up. So I'm falling back on, we can say that this is conspiracy if I'm wrong. Whatever, I don't think that I am though and it is what it is anyway so she's uh she's she's just absent she's been a complete failure she's got nothing right uh she's relied heavily on the lamestream
Starting point is 00:25:40 media to protect her in the two debates that she had with Donald Trump and why Donald Trump even conceded to a second event or a second debate with her I have no idea because every time he does it's it's him against her and the moderators two two events so far and this last one what was it was it um uh I can't remember if it was I believe it was uh CNBC or I think so or CBS they they were like, it was awful. They covered for her. And so J.D. Vance here in this debate that happened yesterday, covered for, showed up in, I didn't say covered, scratch that. They were trying to, you could tell they were trying to protect Kamala Harris
Starting point is 00:26:23 or Tim Walz in this debate, right? Because the rules were that he wouldn't be fact-checked because they were fact checking donald trump fact fact fact fact fact checking they wouldn't like they fact checked him on everything that he said and they fact checked nothing you can still go anywhere and see they're calling everything that donald trump said a lie like he lied 23 43 5 000 times and uh she apparently didn't lie about anything right baloney she lied so many times you just got to go to a right wing place and look it up and then and then do the homework yourself and see because for example she she said in the debate that she never said anything about confiscating guns she's been very anti-gun legislation, or very pro-gun legislation, and anti-gun. She's talking about mandatory,
Starting point is 00:27:09 I've heard the audio myself, seen the video, mandatory buybacks. And she also said, and I saw this, and I heard it with my own ears, that in the first 100 days, she's going to write an executive order to get the gun regulation under control, which, yes, is unconstitutional.
Starting point is 00:27:25 Would it become law? It wouldn't count for anything because it's unconstitutional law. So she can write her executive orders if she wants to, but your local sheriff's department is not going to enforce it if they're good sheriffs. If you've got good oath-taking sheriffs, listen, I want to talk just for a second on the doctrine of lesser magistrates. If you don't understand this, look it up. I'm going to explain it to you briefly in a nutshell. The doctrine of lesser magistrates basically says, all right, as an example, she can write an executive order or even write a federal law, not her, but like Congress can write a federal law. If it's unconstitutional, okay, such as gun confiscation, then those of you say, I live in Franklin County, Illinois, right?
Starting point is 00:28:06 My sheriff isn't going to enforce that. He's of a lesser government authority. But here's the kicker. Offenses are tried in the county in which they're charged. So if in Franklin County, I'm charged with something, my offense is tried in Franklin County. All right. So if she writes an executive order and our sheriff says, well, we're not going to press charge on that, then guess what? Nobody's going to confiscate my rifles.
Starting point is 00:28:33 If I'm seen with a rifle or a pistol or anything else, nothing's going to happen about it because I'm not going to be charged. And if the government decides to charge me with something, it's going to be in my county. My state's attorney will decide if or not I'm going to be tried for this, it's going to be in my county. My state's attorney will decide if or not I'm going to be tried for this. It's got to be in my county. And I was talking to my brother about this recently. And he told me, he said, well, he said the feds can seize cannabis. And that's federal law. It doesn't matter what state, county, anything.
Starting point is 00:29:00 I said, I get that, but it can't be charged or tried unless the county in which the offense is occurring in has a law against that or will in fact charge it or not. So if the feds catch me driving with 10,000 pounds of cannabis, but my state's attorney don't have a problem with it because it's legal in Illinois, right? They can seize it, but they can't charge me with anything. And if they did my state certainly would throw it out case dismissed so you guys understand the power of lesser magistrates and don't be afraid so much of your federal government you want to live in a county that's conservative somewhere that respects your right to freedom that respects your right to your second
Starting point is 00:29:44 amendment that respects your right to freedom of expression that respects your right to freedom, that respects your right to your Second Amendment, that respects your right to freedom of expression, that respects your Fourth Amendment right to privacy, your Sixth Amendment, all your due process stuff. You guys want to make sure that you're living in a place like that. Our people in Washington, D.C., or in Washington, that have been sitting in prison since January 6th, 2021, no due process. You know, a right, a habeas corpus, a right to a
Starting point is 00:30:07 fair and speedy trial. They've been denied that because of the county in which they were in the offense, in the offense that the county in which that offense occurred, nobody's got their back. People, if you're going to go do something, do your homework and make sure the county that you're visiting is friendly to your rights. Live in counties that respect your rights. Stay out of the cities. Densely populated cities are always going to be liberal. The Bible says where people abound, sin does abound also. And that's why these big densely populated places are liberal.
Starting point is 00:30:43 They're full of sin. Absolutely full of sin. I'm going to take a break right here. Who is on your side, PBN family? Visit TWC.health slash PBN. Awesome. We want to thank our sponsors. Definitely want to thank our sponsors for their contributions and helping us to make the Prepper Broadcasting Network a thing.
Starting point is 00:31:38 But did you guys hear? Okay, I haven't talked to you since the DNC, right? Chris Cuomo has been surprising me. I've not been a friend of Chris. I'm'm sorry his name is a tongue twister for me i've not been a fan or a friend i've not even been friendly to chris cuomo when i talk about him although the last couple podcasts i put out he's been shocking me he's been shocking me and he since even though he's not come out publicly it's he probably may never he he's definitely not gonna become a servitive but the things he's saying is is is leaning back as a
Starting point is 00:32:11 centrist like he's he's down the middle on some of this stuff that he's talking about and did you hear his report uh you know on news nation uh as he's at the dn. He's just basically calling out the hypocrisy of the DNC and the money. Like, I'm just going to play this for you and let's do this. We'll maybe talk about it for another few seconds and then move on to another clip. But this is surprising to me.
Starting point is 00:32:37 Check this out. Here, a big theme here at the DNC is that they're going to go after corporate gouging. And they're going to go after corporations, whether it's in taxes, largesse, loopholes. The RNC, we heard the same thing. They're going after the elites, the two sets of rules. Let me reveal a reality to you that has to be spoken to here, okay? These are the soldiers.
Starting point is 00:33:02 These are the men and the women that go back to their constituencies and their communities and they fight they take time from their jobs and take time from their families republicans and democrats alike that's what they do they need to charge these people up they need to be able to get them on board but there's another reality that is literally looking down on them i want to pause that right there because he whenever he said that these are the soldiers he's showing the people on the bottom deck, like people on the floor, the people that are walking around. That's who he's talking about. And he's getting ready to open things up to another reality.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Greg, look at the ring of sweets, okay? This is not unique to Democrats. There is a game of money when people talk about uniparty. We are strangled by the money reality in our politics. Those sweets start at 500 grand. You think there's like a teacher group up in there? You think it's like the Cub Scouts of Columbia County, South Carolina that's up in those boxes? Some of them are lobbies and good things. The media boxes, you think they're free? Why do you think I'm on the floor? News Nation is not a broke company. Next
Starting point is 00:34:05 Star is a massive organization. We are corporate media. We don't have one of those boxes because that's the game. You pay to play. Those boxes are filled with the same people that they say they're going to regulate. They are literally looking down on the faithful and being told, yeah, yeah, we're going to break down on them we're gonna make them pay their share they paid 500 700 a million a million and a half to have those seats they get hotel suites that are probably gifted to the party and the same thing is true with the republican side and they're gonna take them down they're gonna change how it is they are looking down from on high at the people who make the difference in their communities.
Starting point is 00:34:46 And that is the reality of politics. And I had my producer walk around and show you those suites. None of that are all the same. They're not all the same. But the reality is, but the reality is, in 2000, they spent $300 million on presidential campaigns. 24 years later, you know what they're expected to spend? $10 billion. Do you know how much money Harris has raised in the last couple of weeks? Hundreds of millions. And that's success. A lot of it's small donor. A lot of it isn't.
Starting point is 00:35:13 The most dangerous money in politics is now legal money. Because it's Citizens United. You've got to know this. The idea that they can fight against it is almost laughable. It's almost laughable. So look. Look and listen when you are told these things. i don't care what they promise you not here tonight not at the rnc not that trump knows them not that they don't own them he did one of the biggest fundraisers
Starting point is 00:35:35 i've ever heard of in my life out where i live let's go stop right there so looking this up, a penthouse suite at the DNC, $500,000. A club level suite, $1 million to $1.5 million. A lower level suite, $2.5 million. And the two lower level suites, $5 million. That's how much it costs you to suite at the DNC. And they want to preach to us about equality. Here's the thing. These people running for president and vice president,
Starting point is 00:36:15 Kami Harris and Tampon Tim Walls, they've been wealthy for a very long time. She's been hooking up for a very long time with very wealthy people and got into the circles that she needed to, doing what she needed to do to get to where she's at. She's always been a nobody, riding on the coattails of people with money and fame and popularity. And now here she is, the media swooping in and saving her. And she's talking, because she's a communist, talking about equity.
Starting point is 00:36:47 Equity is not the same as equality, people. Equity is quite different than equality. With equity, what she wants is equal outcomes for everybody. Do I think it's going to affect these millionaires and billionaires? Absolutely not. But in her mind, she thinks that it is because she's a communist. And her daddy, that's a whole other thing. Oh my gosh, her dad. Go watch Candace Owen's stuff on her dad. The man that she's calling as her dad can't be her dad. Her dad
Starting point is 00:37:18 actually died when he was two years old. Who's this guy? Nobody knows knows the lady in her photos that she's calling her grandma died i believe three years before canada was even born guys it's crazy just go watch com uh go watch candace owens she's trying to pull it all together but she wants equity right she wants she wants so that all of us people that don't work the who work hard in the end are even when it comes to finances. I can work really hard and be just as broke as a person that's not working at all. That's her vision for America. That's equity, equal outcomes. So if I work really, really, really, really hard to have the things that I have in her mind. That's unfair because somebody else hasn't had the fortunes that I've had in my life.
Starting point is 00:38:09 And that's why they don't have the things that I have. And that's wrong. This is America. And in America, everybody has an equal way of doing things. We're all equal. Some are smarter than others. That doesn't matter. We still have equal chances and equal opportunities to do things in life. Just because there's somebody that's more Elon Musk, for example. I'm no Elon Musk. He's way smarter than me. I don't deserve the things
Starting point is 00:38:39 that he has because he's smarter than me and he's been able to do things with his money because of his intellect, because of his intelligence. The gifts that I have, I'm using them. I retired on a pension because I use the gifts that I have to get to where I'm at. I feel that I'm living fairly for what I've worked hard for in my life. Four years in the Marines, became a police officer in 2006.
Starting point is 00:39:03 In that part time, the entire 25 years, I was working for the state of Illinois and retired with a pension. And I, became a police officer in 2006. In that part time, the entire 25 years, I was working for the state of Illinois and retired with a pension. And I'm still a police officer and I'm still doing that job. And I feel that I'm living equal to what I deserve. Just like Elon Musk is living equal to what he deserves. He's worked hard and he's smart, but that's not Kamala's America. Kamala's America is, in the end, somebody that doesn't have anything is going to have more. And somebody that has more like me is going to have less. So in the end, we are the same.
Starting point is 00:39:33 And that's not fair. But that's Kamala's America. Some of you know that I've been working on a new book. It's going right in my Patriots series. So book one, Old Thakers. Book two, Surviving Martial Law. I've been working heavily the last month or so. That's where I've been. I've been doing other things plus working on this book that is, I feel, past due, at least in my own mind. And in the process, I came across this Netflix series, this Netflix show. It's by Bill Gates,
Starting point is 00:40:02 and it's called What's Next. I'm like, like oh this would be interesting this would fit right into my book called the program right that's going to come up and be the third book in my the patriot series and as i got to looking at it one of the later episodes in that series the first season that's uploaded right now he's interviewing uh who is it hold on let me think here. Bill Gates is interviewing, oh, Bernie Sanders about financial disparity. In other words, he believes there's an income gap and it's unfair. Talk about calling the kettle black.
Starting point is 00:40:34 Bill Gates, who has a lot of money because of Microsoft, he became the youngest billionaire at a very young age in the 1980s, believes that there's an income inequality. And he's interviewing bernie sanders the most socialist person well probably not more socialist than commie harris but pretty darn close who's also very very rich he owns a lot of properties he owns a lot of stuff and has been preaching about socialism for a long time, that there's an income gap.
Starting point is 00:41:09 Guys, you can't make this up. You cannot make it up. And it's mind-blowing to me that these two idiots have the wherewithal and the gumption to sit on their heap of piles of money and say that there's an income inequality. If they really believe that, if they were true to their own doctrine, their own dogma, they would give away all their fortunes
Starting point is 00:41:36 to the poor people so that in the end, there's equity, that they would give away so much money end, there's equity. That they would give away so much money that other people are no longer poor and they are equal to them in their economic status. If they believed it, if they believe what they preached, the truth is they're hypocrites. They want this for America, but not for themselves. Remember, there's a ruling class and this ruling class wants to be sitting on top while everybody else is shining their shoes and licking glass. That's what they want. Anyway, I am L. Douglas Hogan. And I just want to thank all of you for listening to The Rise of the Republic.
Starting point is 00:42:14 And I'm sorry I was away for so long. But I'm back. I'll try to meet you next week. Y'all take care. God bless.
