Thank you very much. Well, welcome to another episode of Straits Truth.
I'm your host, Carl B., and hopefully everyone's had a pretty good weekend.
I know that, you know, stuff is probably going to be going on at Prepper Camp, right?
And stuff like that.
So, you know, but I've been really, really busy.
And I know I missed another week.
But, you know, it's
unavoidable, you know, um, I had a contractor, uh, you know, a friend of mine, uh, you know, we, we,
uh, you know, we, we kind of met up, um, after work every day for the last, like what, almost
like two weeks. And we did a lot of work, a lot of did a lot of work a lot of work on a porch
a lot of work on a house there's a lot of work got done um i am exhausted right um we finished up
uh we finished up about two days ago um you know everything pretty much got done um and uh it was a lot of work right between you know work and
and and you know stuff you're doing with your family and everything else it got really really
hectic uh we ripped up the porch completely uh all that rotting you know like the wood that was
rotting and stuff like that all the uh you know the rotting the uh posts and all, you know, like the wood that was rotting and stuff like that, all the, you know, the rotting,
the posts and all that, you know, all that stuff came out and, and, you know, we, we put a brand
new, you know, we put brand new stuff down, you know, so pressure treated wood and everything else
down and painted it and restate the house and everything else. So it's been it was busy.
It got a little crazy last week, especially because, you know, we were trying to beat,
you know, the rain moved in now and we were just trying to kind of like get everything done before
the rain, you know, came in. So but I'm glad to be back uh you know that's just how things go right that's just life
um sometimes you have these lulls where you know there's not much going on and then sometimes
everything just explodes everything goes crazy um it's usually pretty busy at the beginning
of the school year for me and that is because my son is playing soccer, my daughter's activities
are going, you know, so things get pretty hectic. But anyway, what's going on in the world, huh?
The world has gone a little mad, right? The uh and hezbollah clashing down there in the
middle east uh and uh you know um that could really end up in an all-out war um we're watching
that really closely um uh and the whole pager thing uh is just something out of science fiction, right?
It's something out of, you know, we've talked about stuff like that happening before.
And people just dismiss it as crazy or conspiracy theories, right?
But, you know, just imagine all these iPhones that are made in China, right?
And if they really wanted to get us, you know, imagine what they could do if they really wanted to.
You know, with all the stuff they sell us, right?
Your cars, your, you know, your electronics, all that stuff.
If they really wanted to, you know.
Anyway.
But there, you know, things are teetering down there right now and um
this is something that we've been following here for now now for years um you know uh wondering
when someone will cross that red line and things will escalate to the point of no return
the other point of interest right that's in play is the russia ukraine war and um you know uh with
with ukraine seeking permission to bomb deeper targets in russia you know that can get really
really dangerous really really fast so um the world is in a crazy place. A lot of folks really don't know how close we are to a major world war,
you know, with the atomics going off and flying all over the place.
And for the most part, most people don't care.
They think it's another conspiracy theory,
or they think, you know, things are just being overblown and they believe
the story that the mainstream media is telling
them, right? That everything is fine. Everything is under control.
Alright, so before I get
really deep into our discussion here, right? Because
we're going to talk about what's going on with right because we're going to talk about uh what's going
on with russia we're going to talk about the whole port thing right you know and what that could mean
here if that really goes off um and uh you know there are two other stories that i kind of want
to touch on and that is the microplastics thing uh You know, there's this study out now saying that human beings, we're consuming a lot of plastic.
So I just kind of want to push that out there so that, you know, listeners are more aware and we can be healthier.
And then I will end with a really interesting article about human consciousness.
article about human consciousness and and why it might prove that you know the bible and and the way we see you know the soul and everything else might just be correct okay so interesting program
it's going to be short right uh but first let's let's have a word from our sponsors

Okay, so let's start with Russia.
Let's start with Russia and how crazy things are getting.
And this was taken from mostimportantnews.com, right?
And I'm just going to read a little part of this thing, just the important part.
And it says,
read a little part of this thing just the important part and it says a ukrainian kamikaze drone reportedly struck valemir poten satan satan 2 nuclear missile prompting an apocalyptic explosion
yesterday morning a secret ammunition silo facility at toropets in tevere region that
housed one of the russian president's nuke missiles was hit by a Ukrainian drone,
it claimed yesterday. It allegedly happened just 10 miles from an indestructible
30,000 ton munition storage site that had been obliterated on Wednesday.
That had been obliterated on Wednesday.
It is literally insane to use kamikaze drones.
To attack.
Kamikaze drones to attack nuclear missiles.
But that's the entire point.
The Ukrainians are losing the war.
And so they're desperately trying to provoke.
An over the top reaction from the Russians. That will force NATO to get directly involved in the fighting.
And if that happens. That's World War Three. Nuclear missiles are flying and there's no winners in
that scenario. So it's a really crazy scenario. But here we are. Right. And they need to do it
before the U.S. presidential election in November, because if Trump wins,
he fully intends to try and end the war.
So that's why the Ukrainians just attacked a nuclear missile.
They're in a race against time. Of course, Ukraine does not have the ability to identify strategic targets deep inside
Russia.
As far as these long-range drone attacks are concerned, we frequently pick the targets, and in many cases, we actually guide weapons to their targets.
But we aren't really supposed to talk about that.
Right?
We are hitting targets in Russia, deep inside Russia.
Can you imagine if Russia was hitting targets deep inside the U.S.?
And at some point, I think they might say, OK, you know what, tit for tat, you hit one of ours
with your, you know, providing the intelligence, you hit one of ours, we hit one of yours.
That's when things are going to get really, really interesting. I mean, you know, I don't know what would be the trigger
for expansion of the conflict with Russia.
Maybe they figure they can just conquer enough of Ukraine
and weaken Ukraine enough that they can control, you know,
a good square mileage of that area.
And I think that they're trying to keep that as maybe their primary goal.
But we're all just playing a very, very dangerous game here of chicken, nuclear chicken.
Okay.
Now, another story that I kind of want to look at, and this one was published on Zero Hedge, it says, if Russia takes Pokrovsk, the rest of eastern Ukraine will fall.
And I just want to just read a little bit of this because, you know, much was made of the Kursk invasion, right?
You know, when the Ukrainians went into kursk um and of course now the russians
have are trying to take back territory uh and probably gaining ground there but um now uh
they're still maintaining the war here on the eastern front so to speak um and let me just
read a little bit of this it says after many months of
propaganda from the western media asserting that russia's military capacity had been shattered by
the brutal meat grinder of the ukraine front it appears that the kremlin is actually accelerating
their offensive with more troops and artillery than ever and they're poised to take all of the Donbass and large
portions of eastern Ukraine if they succeed in the pivotal city of Pokrovsk. For the majority
of the war, Pokrovsk has acted as the logistical hub and rear operations base for Ukraine's eastern
defensive lines. It sits astride both a key railroad juncture
and the highway to Ukraine's fourth largest metro, Dnipro.
The city's defensive positions are a final obstacle
to Russia's access to most of the region.
If Prokhorovsk falls, Russian forces will be able to easily flank
entrenched troops in the north and south
of the country. The loss of the primary rail lines and highway routes in and out of Poskrovsk
would cut resources to Ukrainian units across the Donbass and possibly force them to retreat
before running out of supplies. This would mean an immediate and sweeping Russian advance all along the eastern lines
where Putin goes from there is hard to say,
but a campaign back into western Ukraine this time using attrition tactics would not be unthinkable.
would not be unthinkable okay so you know we've heard a lot in the western media just how badly the russians are doing and everything every time there's some you know um successful uh attack
ukrainian attack it gets a lot of play but you know the russ Russians are slowly grinding down the Ukrainians. And where is this all going to go?
And, you know, I mean, they attacked a Russian missile, right?
Nuclear missile.
And I am not even going to try to process that one, right?
And so where does it all go?
You know, it's a dangerous game of chicken here
nuclear chicken and um at some point some line is going to get crossed and it's going to push
him too far and i think uh then everybody's on notice and then uh yeah you know we might get
into some kind of a shooting war with the russ And, you know, who knows what that might really look like.
Very, very dangerous times.
Very dangerous times.
Now, switching gears here, okay?
Because that's the whole look at World War III, right?
The Chinese are really quiet on Taiwan.
You know, it's really heating up down there in
the middle east uh you know between uh israel and hezbollah and you know yeah if hezbollah
pretty much falls right you know if if they if they lose this fight then uh i can't see the
iranians just just you know like laying down right so then you'd have the Iranians and and
Israelis fighting directly not through some proxy and and then things can get really things are
probably going to get really nasty at that point so it's just a crazy situation down there in the
Middle East um and we have this other crazy situation here in in europe uh
but most americans are you know they're glued to their phones and and what's going on with
this celebrity or that celebrity and and just lapping up everything the mainstream media feeds
them right while the world the world is teetering on on destruction here okay the other two articles that really caught
my eye this week right was this one from american thinker and you know i have done programs on
microplastics before and the dangers of microplastics and why we really need to start taking this, this issue really, really seriously. You know, for the, for a lot of people listening
to this podcast, you, you might be growing your own food or a good portion of your own food.
So you're at, you know, and that is actually being proactive and, and doing something about
your health. They're saying that this can, you know, lead to all kinds of dementia and different things, right? And just bad health, you know, all around health.
Let me just read a little bit of the article here. It says,
adults inadvertently consume so much plastic, it's equivalent to eating around one grocery
store bag per month. And it says, I'm thoroughly grossed out according to a new and
according to a new analysis from an environmental non-profit organization based in washington dc
the average adult inadvertently consumes so much plastic in their food that is the equivalent to
eating around one grocery store bag per month when When I read that, I was generally sick to my stomach
from an EWG press release.
And it says, plastic on your plate.
EWG finds adults may ingest equivalent
of up to 12 shopping bags a year.
Adults may ingest up to 150,000 harmful plastic particles a year,
equal to eating as many as 12 shopping bags annually,
according to a new environmental working group analysis.
Now, this study only investigated micro and nanoplastic consumption, not absorption.
nanoplastic consumption, not absorption. We're also being plastic poisoned by the water in our showers, shampoos, conditioners, laundry soaps, and softeners, clothing, synthetic fibers,
receipt paper. So clearly the number of plastic particles in us must be higher. The announcement details that a major source of
the pollution comes from plastic cutting boards, but also lists the contamination from plastic
food packaging, as well as plastics breaking down in our soil and water supplies. And all
these solar farms that they're putting up all over the United States and Europe.
Look out.
All the poisons that's going to be leached out of these, you know, these green, so-called green, you know, electrical, you know, power means.
It's just systems. It's just going to be unreal
um and it says here
crops can absorb micro and nanoplastics from contaminated soil and water while seafood is
continuously exposed to floating plastic particles that can bioaccumulate and cling to tissue. Consider a brief public service
announcement. Dump the plastic cutting boards and invest in a single end grain cutting board
that's not slathered in toxic lacquer chemicals and uses a food safe non-toxic glue to bind the wood together.
Hardwoods like walnut and cherry are superior.
Wood is self-healing, and the way the wood is sawn and assembled into a single board
makes for a self-sanitizing piece of kitchen equipment.
The capillaries of the grain draws in bacteria and quickly suffocate them.
Here's what Dr. Dean Cliver, whose field of study was food microbiology and toxicology, found in his research.
Wood is intrinsically porous.
It's like my tongue just would not work around the word, right? Intrinsically porous. It's like my, you know, my tongue just would not work around the word, right?
Intrinsically porous, which allows food juices and bacteria to enter the body of the wood
unless a highly hydrophobic residue covers the surface. The moisture is drawn in by capillary action until there is no more free liquid on the surface,
at which point immigration ceases.
Bacteria in the wood pores are not killed instantly, but neither do they return to the surface.
I recall reading that some studies showed that harmful bacteria are killed in as little as 10 minutes without any cleaning agents,
though I can't seem to find the study in this moment.
Back to microplastics.
EWG, being progressive, has a solution that we as conservatives wouldn't support,
which is to use the weight and authority of the government to intrude in the marketplace,
requiring companies and governments to eliminate single-use plastic,
minimize the use of plastic where possible,
and prevent plastic waste from polluting the environment.
Now, yeah, I mean, these are all good ideas,
but shouldn't we just be doing that, right, ourselves?
And it says here,
Joe Biden and Kam harris did exactly that
when they announced a phase-out of single-use plastics from federal food service operations
including military trial halls in deployed locations naturally those throwaway utensils
and food cartons will have to be replaced with a far more expensive biodegradable materials.
And you just got a little more national debt tacked onto your back, right?
This microplastics thing is really, it's really, really becoming, you know, a serious health issue.
And I do think that it's going to be just as serious as the
smoking issue um you know because there's just so much of it being absorbed in in all animals
at this point you know um and plant life right human human plant life animal animal life, right? You know, we're all absorbing this plastics,
and it's going to become a real serious problem. Okay. So that's the danger of microplastics had to fit that in because, you know, be try to be safe with your food, if you're growing your
most of your own food, or a lot of your own food, then you're already ahead of the curve.
If you're growing most of your own food or a lot of your own food, then you're already ahead of the curve.
You know, try and keep all up, you know, try and use glass or wood instead of plastic, right? You know, when you're eating or preparing your food, it's getting to become a real serious issue.
Okay.
you okay so you know that's uh a health that's our health corner uh for uh you know for for this uh podcast and now we're going to end with a really interesting article that i read and i'm just going
to read um some parts of this article but if you're a christian then yeah Christian and you believe that everyone has a soul and if you believe in heaven and hell,
Christianity, I think, is on the forefront of science, always been on the forefront of science.
It's amazing that science tries to debunk Christianity, right?
When all it really does is prove the existence of, you know, you know, other dimensions, you know,
science is beginning to prove a lot of the things that Christians have just kind of taken for granted.
Like, yeah, heaven and hell, you know, exist, you know, on a different like, you know, plane from ours, different in different dimensions.
Right. So it's really interesting that a lot of times science seem to prove um you know
um you know christianity right proves um you know uh that there is life or or there is something
beyond our you know or what we what we can see hear smell and touch right now. You know, we're pretty much bound up by our physical bodies,
right? But there is something beyond this, and we have to make sure we take care of our souls so
that, you know, the transition is easy, right, between this reality and the next. But anyway,
this is from the Daily Mail, and the article says, scientist says human consciousness come from another dimension.
Told you so, right?
But let's read this.
A physicist claimed that we plug into these invisible planes of the universe when making art, practicing science, pondering philosophy or dreaming.
And this could explain the phenomenon that has evaded scientific
understanding for centuries. Michael Pravicia, a professor of physics at the University of Nevada,
Las Vegas, has based the wild idea on hyperdimensionality, the idea that the universe
is made up of more dimensions than just the four we perceive,
height, length, width, time. But his theory is highly controversial, with one scientist saying that the cornerstone of Pravissia's theory borders on science fiction. The sheer fact that we can
conceive of higher dimensions than four within our mind, within our mathematics, is a gift. It's something that
transcends biology, Pravaseer told Popular Mechanics. Scientists have been attempting
to explain human consciousness and its origins for hundreds of years, and the theories run the
gamut. One leading theory suggests that consciousness is related to how much information
is integrated between the different
parts of the brain. The more information is connected and integrated, the more conscious
a being is thought to be. Another posits that conscious mental states are driven by top-down
signaling in the brain. Top-down signaling refers to the process by which higher-level brain regions send information, expectations, or context to lower-level brain regions.
But Provisius' theory ventures outside the realm of neuroscience and into theoretical physics.
awareness, like when we enter a dream state or use our brains for deeply creative or intellectual tasks, our consciousness could transcend our physical dimension and enter a higher plane.
In these moments, our consciousness syncs with hidden dimensions and receives a flood of
inspiration, Pravissia said. To better understand the controversial theory, consider
the following scenario. Imagine you're a two-dimensional being living in a two-dimensional
world, like a character in a comic book. Now imagine that a sphere passes through your plane
of view. The sphere would look like a dot that grows into a larger and larger circle as it comes closer, then gradually shrinks until it's out of view.
You would have no way of knowing that it's actually a three-dimensional shape.
Pravatsiya sees us as a version of these two-dimensional characters. Although we exist in a four-dimensional world, we can only perceive matter and energy
that is off those four dimensions, just like all beings in a 2D world cannot perceive a 3D object.
Thus, the limitations of our world prevent us from detecting higher dimensions that could,
in theory, exist all around us. This is the foundation of
hyperdimensionality, the idea that the universe is made up of many dimensions, some of which are
hidden because they are beyond the reach of our physical realm. Hyperdimensionality ties into
string theory which states that reality is made up of infinitely small vibrating strings that are smaller than atoms, electrons or quarks.
As the strings vibrate, twist and fold, they produce effects in multiple unseen dimensions that give rise to all the particles and forces that we can observe from particle physics to gravity.
String theory is essentially a theory of hyper-dimensionality,
a prophecy is said.
It's looking at how the universe is put together
on a sub-quantum scale.
Although we can observe the effects
that these vibrating strings have
on the physics of our dimension,
we cannot observe the hidden dimensions
that they're vibrating in.
That is, we can't physically observe them, but our consciousness may be able to tap into them,
Pravasia says. Hyperdimensionality and string theory are widely accepted by physicists,
but Pravasia's idea of their relationship with consciousness is more controversial,
idea of their relationship with consciousness is more controversial, especially because it blurs the lines between science and spirituality. As an Orthodox Christian with a PhD from Harvard,
Pravissia has found hyper-dimensionality to be a way to bridge his scientific background
with his religious beliefs. For example, he believes Jesus may be a hyper-dimensional being. According to the Bible,
Jesus ascended into heaven 40 days after being on earth. How do you ascend into heaven if you're a
four-dimensional creature, Provincia asks. But being hyper-dimensional could theoretically have
allowed Jesus to move between our world and heaven, which may be a world of
higher or infinite dimensions. And let me just add here, I think that when, you know, as Christians,
we believe that at some point we are going to have new bodies and these new bodies will be like
Christ's own body, right? And we will be endowed with this ability to pass through all these other dimensions, right? We will be, our bodies will be like his, right?
Provisius' theory is based on a God of the gaps perspective,
where gaps in scientific knowledge are explained by divine intervention,
and Stephen Holler, Associate Professor of Physics at Fordham University.
He believes that this type of thinking is insufficient
and hampers
the scientific inquiry needed to truly understand and explain ineffable phenomena like human
consciousness. It's a poor explanation mechanism that arguably stifles the inquisitive nature
acquired for good science and teaches that it's not okay to say, I don't know, hollow-toed popular
mechanics. I mean, we still don't know. As a Christian, I can say we still don't know, hollow-toed popular mechanics. I mean, we still don't know.
As a Christian, I can say we still don't know,
but we can guess at the fact that, you know, heaven and hell,
well, heaven and hell exist.
They exist in a different dimension, right, which is not in ours.
So, you know, so when you really think, you know,
well, that our belief, spiritual beliefs then hold that there must be other dimensions beyond this one.
So for us, it's like, okay.
And these science guys, especially the ones that claim to be atheists, they don't want they don't want a spiritual. What do you call it? They don't want a spiritual explanation of these ideas or these facts.
OK. You know, because if you have a God, then there's consequences to your actions.
You are not completely a free agent that can just do whatever you want without any consequences and live a life,
right, you know, of your choosing without any consequences, right? And, you know, so it's,
you know, it's kind of crazy, right? But, you know, as I once, you know, talking to someone,
I basically said to him, right, I think it takes a lot more faith to be an atheist, right? Than a
Christian. Because you're taking, they're taking one heck of a chance and one heck of a gamble,
a roll of the dice here that, you know, the Christians are wrong and they're right.
And what are they gambling? They're gambling 80 years of life, living the life they want to live in the way they want to live with their own belief system.
Right. Versus an eternity. Right.
Of having to deal with the consequences of not accepting, you know, Christianity. Right.
So they're playing a really dangerous game anyway.
Right. It says here, Prophysia, right?
This is a guy who believes that maybe consciousness does come from a higher plane, right?
It's optimistic that technology, right?
Such as, you know, the LHC, right?
The Large Hydron Collider at CERN and stuff like that.
He's optimistic that such technology could prove or help to prove that this hyper-dimensionality does exist.
Let's see.
You know, he's hoping to prove at some point
that hyper-dementiality
and its relationship to consciousness
pans out sometime in the future.
I think that we're getting closer and closer
to all of that, right?
More and more scientists are beginning to think that we're living in some kind of really sophisticated,
you know, some really sophisticated program, right? They want to call it a program, but,
you know, this reality is not necessarily all there is.
Or, you know, this is kind of a shadow reality.
And beyond this, there is the real reality, right?
And a lot of scientists are beginning to probably figure out that,
you know, maybe there is something beyond the curtain, right?
But that's a whole other podcast and a whole other discussion for another time.
So I'm going to have to sign off right now.
But it was my pleasure to have this time to share some thoughts.
Things are heating up down there in the Middle East.
And we've got to definitely keep an eye on that. Things are getting a little crazy with the war between the Russians and the Ukrainians.
All these things will affect us.
We're not separated or we're not going to, you know,
all these things will draw us into a serious conflict with the powers that be that govern the world.
We talked about microplastics and why microplastics is a danger.
And we also talked about where does one guy has a really interesting theory about where our consciousness might originate from.
And it's not just the brain.
It might actually come from another higher state of reality.
So all that is really interesting food for thought.
I really hope that you will enjoy your weekend. And remember, don't plug
into the news if it makes you crazy. Right. You know, I've tried to stay away a lot from what's
going on with the election and everything else, because I think it's good for my mental health.
And I would advise the same. Right. You know, spend some time with your family right do the things that you know relax you all
right you know um you know and and try not to get yourself all burned out you know on all these
things because they these things you know the mainstream media is all about divide and conquer
and working people up right pitting one one group against the. So it's all about divide and divide and conquer for them.
And your mental health, your well-being is not a part of their equation.
All they want is to be proved correct.
They just want to be proved right.
And they'll do anything to prove that they're right. And that in itself is pretty dangerous, right?
Anyway, I want to get drawn into another conversation here, right?
Your time is valuable.
So it was my pleasure.
You know, we live in a very dangerous, a very serious world.
And this serious world requires serious people.
Okay?
And that's where we all come in here, you know, at PBN.
And, you know, we try to provide a way that you can take care of yourself and your family. Okay, and that's where we all come in here at PEM.
We try to provide a way that you can take care of yourself and your family and keep your loved ones and yourself safe.
Okay?
All right, so you all have a good weekend.
And until next time, folks, take care and good night.
Are you prepared to be the family doctor in a disaster or emergency?
This is the Intrepid Commander, and I'm holding The Prepper's Medical Handbook by William W. Forgy, M.D.
