Starting point is 00:06:08 New York right, it's been rainy. We've had probably five days where it's just rained continuously, the rivers are flooding, you know we were under a flood watch. You know, so, you know, that's the last thing we need right now, especially, you know, around where I live, where people are having so many other issues is the last thing that we need. So it's been raining. I think the record, since I've lived here, the record has been seven straight days of rain we've had seven straight days where it rained every single day substantially substantially I believe right is one of the cloudiest you know this area is one of the cloudiest areas in the United in the US. So it's it's been it's been pretty cloudy.
Starting point is 00:07:13 And and yeah, you know, you get you get a little tired of the rain after a while. You know, I tried mowing. All right. rain after a while. You know, I tried mowing, right? And you know, I had to time it where it stopped for a few hours and it dried the lawn dried just enough where I could mow without getting stuck. And then, you know, and then of course, a few hours later, it started raining. All right. So that's what's going on here, right? Of state New York. I also have a buddy of mine who is he's a prepper. And, you know, he he showed me a photo on his phone and he was a little concerned about it. He went into Walmart and you know, like the TP section, you know, toilet paper section of Walmart
Starting point is 00:08:11 was pretty much stripped dry, right? You know, a lot of people have been hoarding and buying toilet paper on the slide. And I think, you know, a lot of people, what's driving this is that they're saying that we import most of the toilet paper from China and since we're in this big trade war with China at the present moment, that, you know, that people are getting scared that we might run out of toilet paper soon. So I have not gone out to try and verify this myself, like going into the different stores
Starting point is 00:08:58 in my area to see what's going on but it really does seem like you know there is there might be something going on out there you know so be on the lookout and if you notice anything then let us know here on PBN okay all right so that's that let's switch on over now to you know what's going on in the world. And we've got some big stuff going on in the world. Let's see. Let's talk a little bit about what's going on in India, between India and Pakistan. And I've seen this story. I'm just going to read it from themostimportantnews.com, but it's been reprinted, you know, reused
Starting point is 00:09:43 on a lot of different platforms. I think it covers what's going on in that part of the world pretty well. So let me just read it. And it says here, who's going to use nuclear weapons first? This is written by Michael Snyder I believe and it says will we soon witness the world's first nuclear war following nuclear armed India's attack on nuclear armed Pakistan media outlets all over the globe quickly published stories about the possibility of nuclear war in fact this morning the main headline on the george report was world holds breath in all capital
Starting point is 00:10:25 letters. Now, just, you know, a lot of people are taking this seriously. I you know, I have, you know, I am a member of a lot of different little, you know, message boards and stuff like that. And there, you know, people, especially like in the UK and in places like that, there you know people especially like in the UK and in places like that they're taking this really seriously they're a little worried you know like what might happen in that part of the world so it's it's very concerning actually and it says yes it is entirely possible that a
Starting point is 00:11:00 nuclear war could erupt between India and Pakistan. But will someone else use nuclear weapons first? In the Middle East, a showdown is looming between Israel and Iran. We know that Israel possesses nuclear weapons and there are some experts that are convinced that the Iranians have also acquired nukes. I believe that the Iranians already have nukes. They're keeping it on the wraps right now. If an all-out war erupts between Israel and Iran, I have a feeling that both sides will be forced to show what cards they're holding. If the Iranians do have nukes, they may have gotten them from the North Koreans. If a major war erupts on the Korean Peninsula, and that is a very real possibility, the North Koreans would not hesitate to use nuclear weapons.
Starting point is 00:11:54 In Europe, the conflict in Ukraine definitely has the potential to go nuclear. The Ukrainians have targeted Moscow with drone attacks for three days in a row and they are threatening to attack Russia's Victory Day parade in Moscow on May 9th. If that happens, we are being warned that Kiev could be wiped off the face of the earth. Let's hope that the Russians will continue to resist the temptation to use tactical nukes against Ukraine. Because if that line is crossed, any hope of peace with Russia will be completely gone. Once one nation breaks the taboo on using nuclear weapons, it will be much easier for other nations to follow suit.
Starting point is 00:12:40 At the moment, the eyes of the world are on India and Pakistan. The government of India says that the goal of the world are on India and Pakistan. The government of India says that the goal of their airstrikes was to destroy terrorist infrastructure inside Pakistan. India said it launched missiles targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan, and Pakistan administered Kashmir, the divided Himalayan territory that India also controls a section of. Pakistan's military said it shot down five Indian aircraft during the attack, a claim unconfirmed by India. Pakistan said India's attack killed at least 26 civilians and wounded 46 more. India's
Starting point is 00:13:21 army said at least 10 civilians were killed and 35 injured in cross-border shelling by Pakistani troops in Kashmir. Following the airstrikes, India's Defence Ministry released a statement that emphasized that no military facilities in Pakistan were targeted or actions have been focused, measured and none escalatory in nature. No Pakistan military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution. I think that India was hoping to avoid any additional escalation, but the Pakistanis are furious because a number of mosques were targeted.
Starting point is 00:14:08 In response to Pakistan's complaint that some of India's bombs struck mosques, India confirmed that it targeted mosques and madrassas, Islamic religious schools that were headquarters for training and indoctrination by the terrorist groups. The Indian government pointed out that one of the madrassas used as a training camp by LT was funded by Osama bin Laden, the late founder of Al Qaeda and mastermind of the 9-11 attack on America. Some of India's targets seem chosen to make the point that JM, HM, LT and other terrorist groups are operating openly in Pakistan with either the indulgence or active support of the government. A few of the targeted facilities were remote terrorist camps hidden in inaccessible terrain, but others were obvious and located near major roads.
Starting point is 00:15:07 All of them were large, capable of training hundreds of militants at a time. If Pakistan strikes back, India will almost certainly respond. Unfortunately it appears that is exactly what Pakistan is planning to do. Pakistani Prime Minister Shibaz Sharif has ordered his armed forces to prepare a plan for self-defense, with corresponding actions in order, avenge the loss of innocent Pakistani lives. The order was issued after an emergency National Security Committee, NSC meeting on Wednesday. Pakistan reserves the right to respond in self-defense at a time, place and manner of
Starting point is 00:15:55 its choosing to avenge the loss of innocent Pakistani lives and blatant violation of its sovereignty. The NSC readout said the armed forces of Pakistan have duly been authorized to undertake corresponding actions in this regard. Pakistan's government security committee has charged that India has ignited an inferno in the region. These do indeed seem to be fighting words. One of the sides is going to have to back down at some point or else this thing is going to spiral out of control very rapidly. If a full blown war erupts, India has a far larger military than Pakistan does. India outpaces Pakistan in active military personnel, 1.24 million in the army, 149,000 in the Air Force, 75,500 in the Navy.
Starting point is 00:16:54 Pakistan has about 56,000 Army troops, 70,000 in the Air Force and 30,000 in its Navy. India also operates a 13,350 strong Coast Guard. A conventional war between India and Pakistan would be truly horrifying and we are being warned that it could cause a global recession. A potential war between India and Pakistan could push the world into a global recession in a matter of months, an expert has warned. On Tuesday, India fired a series of missile strikes on Kashmir, with Pakistan voing to respond, triggering fears of an all-out war between the two huge nations.
Starting point is 00:17:41 Space race-capable India currently hovers around number 5 in the list of the biggest economies in the world, just one place above the UK. But a conventional war between these two nations is not the real danger. If India's military started pouring into Pakistani territory, officials in Pakistan may feel forced to use nuclear weapons. Most people living in the Western world do not realize this, but both India and Pakistan have enough nuclear warheads to virtually wipe the other side out. India has about 172 nuclear warheads, while Pakistan possesses roughly 170, according to the Arms Control
Starting point is 00:18:27 Association. Despite their similar numbers, the countries diverge in nuclear doctrine. India publicly maintains an NFU doctrine, pledging to use nuclear weapons only in retaliation. However, recent rhetoric from India's leadership has hinted at revisiting that stance. Pakistan has never adopted a similar policy and reserves the option of preemptive use. Don't think that this can happen. In fact, the head of Pakistan's military just told the world that he believes at any time a nuclear war can break out. Nuclear war could break out at any time if India continues strikes, Pakistan's defence
Starting point is 00:19:15 chief has warned as his country teeters on the brink of a conflict with India. Defence Minister Kauaja Asif gave the stark warning in an interview with Pakistani TV channel GeoNews as tension between the two nuclear powers continued to reach boiling point. The minister said if they, India, impose an all out war on the region and if such dangers arise in which there is a standoff then at any time a nuclear war can break out. A full blown nuclear exchange between India and Pakistan would not be anything like a full blown nuclear exchange between the United States and Russia but it would still create at least a limited version of a nuclear winter.
Starting point is 00:20:06 All of a sudden it would become exceedingly difficult to grow crops all over the northern hemisphere and we are already facing a global food crisis of epic proportions. Wow. So this just blew up. Like over the last like four or five days this just blew up. Like over the last like four or five days, this just blew up. They've been tension simmering in that part of the world for a really long time. But now it seems like both countries have had enough and they're willing to act on it. So we're going to have to keep a close eye on this as well, the situation as well. Very, very, very important thing going on there
Starting point is 00:20:51 in that part of the world. Now, the next thing that I am going to look at is this article that says, secret government unit planning to dim the sun. And this I am getting from Endtime Headlines. I've seen this on a bunch of different platforms as well. And it says in a bold move. All right. Secret government unit planning to dim the sun.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Let that sink in for a second. Right. And I know that this has been covered on PBN to some extent, but it just goes to show you just how desperate they're getting and just how crazy it all is, right? Can you imagine if they throw some stuff up there and it really does cause the temperature of the world to drop and if they somehow, if that somehow then gets out of control you know we could be looking at a mini ice age right and you know are they
Starting point is 00:21:52 really and with with with Europe already deciding to go all like solar and you know using wind power and all this other stuff. I can't see them surviving this right so if it gets cooler they're going to need more power right isn't that the way it works? You know you can survive in a warm climate without you know using extra power right if something really bad went down. But if we have a runaway situation in the opposite direction, then all the folks that, you know, have basically divested their economies and their, you know, and their energy infrastructure of fossil fuels and, you know, like, you know like you know um traditional ways to to um power and heat their homes they're gonna be uh they're gonna they're gonna be they're gonna have some problems and i don't think that they
Starting point is 00:22:51 really thought this one through if it gets cooler they're gonna require more energy right their winters are gonna be more extreme. They're gonna require more energy. So it seems self contradictory here. Right? Anyway, let's read this. Let's read the article. In a bold move to address the escalating threat of climate change, the UK government advanced research and intervention agency ARIA, a secretive research arm initially conceived by former political strategist Dominique Cummings, has emerged as a key player in exploring controversial geo-engineering solutions. ARIA is spearheading initiatives to dim sunlight as a means of cooling
Starting point is 00:23:40 the planet, thrusting the agency into the spotlight amid debates over the ethics and risks of such technologies. ARIA established to fund high-risk, high-reward scientific projects has allocated over £50 million to geo-engineering experiments aimed at mitigating global warming. The agency's work has gained urgency as scientists warn that current efforts to reduce carbon dioxide levels are insufficient to prevent catastrophic climate change. For instance, unintended consequences of past environmental policies such as the 2020 regulations curbing sulfur dioxide emissions from shipping
Starting point is 00:24:26 have been linked to a spike in global warming due to the loss of cooling effects from ship-related aerosols. This has underscored the need for alternative approaches despite their complexity and potential risks. Sun-dimming or solar radiation management involves techniques designed to reflect sunlight back into space. One method under consideration is stratospheric aerosol injection, where particles are released into the upper atmosphere to mimic the cooling effect of volcanic eruptions. Another approach, marine cloud brightening, aims to increase the reflectivity of clouds over oceans by spraying them with seawater droplets. These methods could theoretically lower global temperatures, but they come with significant
Starting point is 00:25:14 uncertainties, including potential disruptions to rainfall patterns critical for agriculture. Scientists emphasize that such interventions are not a substitute for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, but rather a complementary measure to buy time while decarbonization efforts continue. However, the prospect of altering the Earth's climate system has sparked concerns about unintended ecological and geopolitical consequences. ARIO's involvement in geoengineering has drawn scrutiny due to its opaque operations and the broader controversy surrounding quagos, quasi-autonomous non-governmental organizations.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Critics argue that these taxpayer-funded bodies which operate with limited direct accountability wield significant influence at a high cost. The sun-dimming initiative has also raised ethical questions. Opponents warn that manipulating the Earth's climate could lead to unpredictable outcomes such as altered weather patterns or exacerbated droughts in vulnerable regions. Given the global implications of such interventions, they are also concerns about governance, who controls the technology and how decisions are made. Yeah, I could see this going really, really wrong, right?
Starting point is 00:26:44 You know, the the saying what could go wrong right what could pass possibly go wrong a lot a lot okay yeah well the other article that I just want my listeners to be aware about, right, is this secret upgrading of the FEMA bunker that's going on, right? And I'll just read this. This is also from In Time Headlines as well. And it says, the US government is undertaking
Starting point is 00:27:22 a classified upgrade of a clandestine federal emergency management agency, FEMA, facility known as Mount Weather, located in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, approximately 64 miles west of Washington, DC. This development has drawn attention due to the facility's secretive nature and its critical role in national security, prompting questions about the purpose and scope of the enhancement. Mount Weather, also referred to as the High Point Special Facility, is a 464-acre complex
Starting point is 00:27:59 featuring both above-ground and underground infrastructure. Let me just read that again. Mount Weather also referred to as the High Point Special Facility is a 564 acre complex featuring both above ground and underground infrastructure. Place is huge. It is part of a network of fortified sites across the United States designed to shelter federal leaders and to ensure government continuity during national emergencies.
Starting point is 00:28:36 Its strategic location allows for rapid access from the nation's capital, reachable in under 30 minutes by helicopter from Capitol Hill. FEMA has described Mount Weather as a unique facility due to its extensive capabilities, though specific details remain closely guarded. The facility's history traces back to the early 1900s when it served as a weather and mining research site. Over decades, it evolved into a critical hub for emergency preparedness, equipped to support government operations during crises.
Starting point is 00:29:15 Its underground bunkers are designed to withstand significant disruptions, making it a cornerstone of the nation's continuity of government plans. Recent reports indicate that Mount Weather is undergoing significant upgrades, though the specifics of the project are classified. Contractors involved in the work reportedly hold top-secret security clearances, underscoring the sensitive nature of the undertaking. Neither FEMA nor federal officials have disclosed the objectives of the upgrades, leading to speculation about their purpose. In early April 2025, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem visited Mount Weather, posing for
Starting point is 00:30:02 photographs of the facility's full-time fire department and armed FEMA security personnel. Her visit highlighted the site's operational readiness, but offered no insight into the ongoing enhancements. Federal contracted records and historical FEMA announcements provide limited clues suggesting improvements may involve modernizing infrastructure or enhancing security systems but no concrete details have been made public. The lack of transparency surrounding the upgrades has fueled curiosity and debate particularly
Starting point is 00:30:39 on social media platforms. Yeah, you know, the timing of the project coincides with the heightening global and domestic uncertainties, including geopolitical tensions and natural disaster risks, which may justify investments in emergency infrastructure. You know, with everything going on in the world right now, right, this has caught a investments in emergency infrastructure. With everything going on in the world right now, this has caught a lot of people's attention and they're wondering why now. But I just think that this was probably scheduled and it does seem like this administration
Starting point is 00:31:23 is very, very proactive in terms of, you know, making sure that certain safeguards are in place. But here you have this massive bunker, right? That, you know, I'm sure the heads of our government will be flown to if there is an emergency. My question is where is your bunker? Do you know where your bunker is? In case there is a nuclear attack of some sort.
Starting point is 00:31:54 If you live in a large city, where would you go if there was a nuclear attack? How, you know, how would you where, you know, like, is there any place that you could run and take shelter? Do you know of any such places, right, around where you live? Is my question. The rich, I think, know where, you know, which side their bread is buttered, so to speak. They know where they're going to be going. If there's an emergency, right?
Starting point is 00:32:21 Do you know where your, you know know where your bunker is, right? Where is your refuge? Where is your safe space? Right? Okay. Now, the last thing that I am gonna talk about here, and I'm just gonna like talk about this a little, because this happened basically,
Starting point is 00:32:46 this happened just recently, right? With the stock market exploding, you know, after Donald Trump struck a huge deal with the United Kingdom, right? You know, the president said that America will raise a staggering six billion from the 10% tariffs that will remain on the UK and the US will also collect over five billion in new export opportunities for ranchers and farmers.
Starting point is 00:33:13 Wow. Okay. The Oval Office announced that the UK agreed to purchase 10 billion worth of Boeing planes. billion worth of Boeing planes. They also reveal that Trump agreed to let Britain send 100,000 cars into American with only 10% tariff, right? Let Britain send only 10% tariff, right? America with only 10% tariff, which protects tens of thousands of jobs for people in the auto industry in the UK. And he said, this would have taken us three years. Trump got it done in 45 days. This guy, Lutnik, is saying Trump gets deals done.
Starting point is 00:33:58 The deal hands a big political victory to a key ally, Keir Starmer, who has been negotiating behind the scenes with the White House for weeks. So Starmer has actually done something positive for his people, right? Probably the only thing that he's done that's really positive for his constituents, right? For the citizens of the UK really. So this is really positive news, right? In an apparent effort to bring even more countries to the table, Trump insisted that the deal is mutually beneficial, saying this is how,
Starting point is 00:34:36 this is now turning out to be a really, really great deal for both countries, right? I think that, as I said, I think that a lot of people got spooked because, you know, the whole tariff thing, but I really do, I think that a lot of people got spooked because you know the whole tariff thing but I really do think it's just a way of bringing other countries now to the table so that they can you know renegotiate a few things and the fact that now we have India who might be at war here with Pakistan if this thing escalates right? You know well a lot of
Starting point is 00:35:03 countries got nervous, big companies got nervous and moved a lot of their operations out of China into India. And now we have India that is definitely becoming seeming like there's a possibility that they could become unstable if there's a massive war between them and Pakistan. And you got to really wonder, right right why not just build those plants in the United States why not you know like instead of outsourcing them in source them right bill them right here in the United States you have to worry about it all right and maybe this this is this is an incentive to do so because China is becoming increasingly unstable and the India situation is becoming
Starting point is 00:35:46 increasingly unstable. Right? So, so we'll see how it all plays out here. Okay, that's all I have for today. Right? You know, around 30 minutes. That's not too bad. Right?
Starting point is 00:36:00 Listen, folks, you know, you know, we just give you the news here on PBN, right? We just give you the news and hopefully, and we try to do it in an unbiased way. OK, we try to do it in an unbiased way. We give you the information and let you run with it. You decide how you're going to use this information, any information that you get here. You can discard it or going to use this information that you get here. You can discard it or you can use it in some way that's beneficial to you. But we don't tell you what to think here.
Starting point is 00:36:35 There are times even on this program where if the Democrats are doing something positive, I'll say they're doing something positive. Here Starmer did something positive for the people of the UK, right? By agreeing this deal with the United States. If the Republicans are doing something positive, then hey, you know, I'd be the first one out there saying that, yeah, you know, they're doing something really positive here and, you know, they're actually like helping the citizens. Because bottom line, that's what I look at. How much are they helping the citizens of their country, right?
Starting point is 00:37:13 Both parties. And I'm not a fan of any of these parties because they're all really, they're not nice people. None of these parties are really good, as far as I you know parties are really good you know as far as I'm concerned are really good people right you know they they play to their base okay and a lot of times you know the folks in the middle they get squeezed out right but we just give you the straight news here and and let you run with it okay I know that everyone's got their leanings one way or the other on different issues, but I like to think that we are on
Starting point is 00:37:52 pretty much an unbiased source here. And in the world, in today's modern world, that's a rarity. That's a rarity because, you know, the progressives, right? They don't like the people on the right, and a lot of people on the right, they don't like the people on the left. Hence, nothing really, really seriously gets done properly.
Starting point is 00:38:20 Right? So when something actually benefits us, the common folks, then we try to highlight that and give it a shout, right? You know, say, okay, something positive here is occurring, right? Something positive is occurring. Anyway, please continue listening to BBN.
