Starting point is 00:00:23 Just off the top of my head And if you don't have these things, Maybe you should look into them, okay? mouse and rat traps rodents are going to be a problem in SHTF and if you don't have a way to take care of that problem mouse and rat traps you got to have them and you can also use them for booby traps
Starting point is 00:00:45 salt you need salt you need tons of salt you need pickling salt salt to dry meat cure ham you just need salt different kinds of salt Honey, if honey can be used as an antibiotic, it can be used to make alcohol, you know, mead. Honey, it never goes bad, it never spoils. So honey, you should have honey.
Starting point is 00:01:16 Of course, everybody knows that we stockpile our ammunition, but have like calibers and have calibers that are prolific, The 9mm is the most used ammo in the entire world. So if you stockpile any ammunition, 9mm. But make sure that your weapons are, you know, you don't have 1 9mm, 138, 1, you know, 357, whatever. Have them all 9mm. You'll at least have some bartering material.
Starting point is 00:01:57 And, of course, if you're putting up food, put up different types of food stored differently. You should have frozen food. By the way, frozen meat never goes bad. If you keep it frozen, it never goes bad. It just gets freezer burned. It may taste crappy, but it still has the nutrition and all that kind of stuff. So you should have frozen food. You should have canned food.
Starting point is 00:02:23 You should have dried food. And you should have freeze dried food. you know just a myriad so that and everything has a different use it's like having different tools for the same thing you're going to eat but you you know dried something may be better than canned that thing and of course freeze dried food lightest easiest to pack longest shelf life hardest than most expensive to get, but you should have some of each of it. And currency, right?
Starting point is 00:03:05 You should have a little, little cash. You just have some cash because there's going to be a time period where people are only taking cash, and then when that becomes useless, then you're going to have to barter. So after, you know, some cash on hand, and then, you know, silver, gold, whatever. What a goldbacks.
Starting point is 00:03:29 I love goldbacks. So this is just a litany of things what to stockpile. And if I think of a stockpile, too, I'll do that. Take care and prep on.
