BN family, it's time
for the reverend tip on the day.
Hello, everyone out there in Internet
Radio Land, Dave Jones, the NBC guy.
And now I have another tip.
Testing.
Testing.
Yes, testing, testing, one, two, three.
No, test yourself.
Evaluate yourself.
You know, if you put stuff on the shelf and say,
pooh, I got that covered.
No. Test and evaluate yourself, your plans, your equipment. Get it out there and use it. A simple test, and I think I mentioned this on another tip or somewhere, is throw the electric switch coming into your electric panel for the weekend and just see what happens.
maybe for a day, you know, a small test.
Or get that equipment out, unbox it, put it up, see how hard it is to assemble.
You know, if you have a solar panel contraption or something like that,
see how it hooks up, see what it generates.
Stick a battery on there, see if it even produces electricity.
What do you have to do to make the solar panel system work?
So figure out little tests that you can do every so often to see if something works
or if you can actually do what you think you can do and then honestly evaluate it.
Don't make it all sunshine and rainbows.
Be honest about it.
And you'll have a better evaluation of the do's and don't do's, the cans and cans.
and knots. You know, you got to know your limitations, capabilities and limitations. That's what I
always say. Know the capabilities and limitations of your equipment and your people. So testing
is very important. Figure out a test, conduct it, evaluate, and then adjust from there.
Okay, that's my prepper tip. Take care. And prep on.
Thank you.
