You're listening to P.B.N.
You're playing back the stability.
The real bandwidth crisis, how modern life is breaking the human mind.
I don't know, you probably can't see that, but because it's not mirrored, I don't think, on the live stream.
Remember newsprint? Remember newspapers?
I want to give a round of applause to one, K. Rubichick.
K. Rubichick, I'm going to reach out and get her on the podcast.
She wrote an amazing article in the Epic Times all about the value of your attention.
Now, for a long time, I've been talking about the value of time, the value of our limited time on this plan.
it and all the while you know it's one of those things there's also high value in your attention what
you give your attention to it's never been that way before or maybe it has the idiot box was a pretty
powerful implement too in technology right pretty powerful there's something magical about that
newspaper okay epic times is not a sponsor i'm not planning on them being a sponsor anything
like that. I just thought about eating
lucky charms at my dinner table in my parents' house when I was young
reading the comic section, looking over the sports section, reading about the
Eagles and going, I think a newspaper could, I think a newspaper
deserves my attention. I don't know if scrolling through Instagram it deserves
my attention, but I think a newspaper might, right? So,
Firewolf, welcome in, my man. Today's show, folks, right up front brought you by
Limatango Survival.com are incredible sponsor.
Limitango Survival.

They do an amazing job.
Society in every state.
This job out there, sorry about that.
Click the wrong button.
When it comes to these pre-made kits, everybody panicked.
Thought it was Wednesday.
Is it Wednesday?
That was surviving?
America doing on.
So, yeah, we're here today to talk Trump's troops to traips to D.C. streets.
We're going to talk about other things as well.
Okay, we've got a really cool homesteading prepper property up in Virginia that borders
the Jefferson National Forest on a secluded 35-acre patch of America.
I want you to see that today.
because, you know, for those of you out there who might be in the market,
could be a good opportunity for you.
And it might be a part of some other things that we have coming in the near future, too.
It's kind of like up in the air at the moment, but good opportunity, right?
I am late to the party today. I do apologize.
I am late to the party. I had, well, it's really none of your business.
I'm late. That's all. That's all.
So let's get to the big story.
We got to talk about it.
Oh, you know what?
I do got to bring that email up.
I get an email from a listener.
Right off the top, I'm not a big fan of federal power.
We'll start with that.
So Donald Trump is out to make our capital great again.
Again, ladies and gentlemen, District of Columbia National Guardsmen report to duty at the D.C. Armory tomorrow through September 25th. I thought that was good information. Their purpose is to protect federal and private property and assist the Capitol Police in their war against 14-year-olds. Look, I mean, you know, it's not, I'm not mocking it. You know, it's happening. People are getting their heads stomped in. I've been watching it for years.
Literally for years watching it, watching hordes of people kicking and punching and kicking people on the ground and punching people on the ground and the whole nine yards.
I mean, I don't understand what happens.
You know, I don't understand how that sort of feral thing kicks on and then all of a sudden you and 10 of your friends are just basically beating someone to death, right?
Just beating someone to death for whatever the reason is.
Um, you know, so violent crime, the whole nine yards, it's a, if I say the whole nine yards one more time, I'm going to shut the whole stream down, okay? Shut the whole thing down. If I say it one more time. Um, so we'll see, right?
Firewolf in chat says this might not be stepping over the line, but POTUS is taking steps towards it and not tiptoeing. Uh, I'm not a big fan.
of federal power.
Not a big fan.
This issue
deserves everybody's
attention because it's way bigger than
Donald Trump. It's way bigger than Washington, D.C.
It's way bigger than crime. It's way bigger
than... This is the core of America right
here. I mean, this really is like
no way. That's hilarious.
The whole nine yards is a fabric
reference for coat making for men.
I thought it was a laugh line for football
my whole life
Jay Ferg I thought it was a laugh line
I thought the whole nine yards was a joke
because like you need 10 yards for a first down
I never knew
thanks for the information
who knew
but anyway
the subject of what's happening
in D.C. And I don't think it's going to end in D.C. either
but the subject on it is
It's an interesting one because it, you know, I didn't have the right lighting on.
It's America.
It's America, man.
You know, it really is the whole nine yards like, oh, game over.
Is the whole nine yards literally up for debate on what it really means?
Firewall Fortes, I thought it was the belt length in airplanes.
I don't know.
I feel like Jordan's got it.
That sounds pretty good.
so the weirdest thing about it all watching this take shape understanding the benefits i was just
in dc on my birthday in february i was just there and uh there were some interesting things
there were plenty interesting sites i'd say they have more than a violent crime problem
they have a homeless problem and they could be one in the same right
of course we don't want these major cities of ours to be what what i always hate is that the
major cities in america have become a place that is a no-go zone right like i haven't taken my kids
to philly yet my one son's 14 years old he's never been to philadelphia
an office reference from born to brat yeah we're huge office fans here huge my wife and i am immense
it's a great show um of course there's always like like the double the double edged sword right
like the right wing throws the federales in and the left wing could throw the federales into a city why
would they throw the federales into the city
to restore
order? Right?
Like,
I had a very interesting
an email from a listener
that came through yesterday.
I'm going to read.
I won't tell you who sent it,
but I'll read it.
First off, the last time D.C. was federalized
was during the Civil War in 1861.
That's an interesting one.
Where is it at?
Sorry, I apologize.
I had this thing lined up, then I closed it.
It was, you know, the whole idea about, with the battle for our mind still raging,
I had briefly thought about your continuity.
Remove Trump, make this any president.
What would the prepping community's response be?
I can guess.
Right. And then I thought about some stuff, that, da, da, da, that, that. Perhaps it's pre-positioning federal control of the nation's capital for another reason. Quote unquote, meltdown Epstein. Insert any topic of national discourse. I thought it was an interesting thought. This is not from a liberal guy. This is from a free thinker. We have a lot of free thinkers here at PBN. We have people who, as hard as it is for some of you out there watching to believe, who can have voted for Donald Trump.
Trump and also not like follow him with a basket of rose petals everywhere he goes we're capable of
that in America we can get mad at him right we could get mad at him we can get angry with them
we can we can look sideways at the things that he does and we should and here's the other piece
of this whole puzzle that kind of this might be a little harder to understand but um this is one of
those things that being
American, we're kind of losing
grips with like being
American. Like we're American
and the left wing's not American. We're American
and the Democrats are not American,
right?
We're all American
and the beautiful thing
about those who will
fight this,
even if you think it's right,
I personally, I think
that it is the right move in the short term.
How long can you give
a city to get its crime rates under control.
People have to live in this stuff.
You know what I mean?
They don't have news shows.
They don't have podcasts.
They don't get to get on every day and remind you like, hey, my best bud down the street
got clipped in a drive-by and now he's dead, you know?
My dad left.
My uncle got thrown in print.
Whatever the situation is, right?
There are lives that are in the blender.
You know what I mean?
so but all that aside you know the one beautiful thing to me is the fact that we fight these things
even when we're not right we fight them even though they might seem like the right thing to do
there's an inclination in all of us in america even the people you don't agree with there's an
inclination in all of us to say this is bullshit get these federal bastards out of my city we'll
figure it out. Right? There's an inclination against overwhelming force, particularly from the
government. And I don't know about you, but that just warms my heart. It warms my heart to think
about the fact that there are not because the left is seething over this. You got to understand,
this is not an aha, you know, we're finally going to take control and get the city cleaned up.
no it's it's deeper than that it's it's a warm and fuzzy feeling in my heart knowing that
americans are rebellious we're rebellious anytime the federal and look we're all on the right
and on the left we're both guilty of watching our side overstep their boundaries and us be like
it's for the good of the people you remember covid right so we're guilty
We're all guilty. We're all fallen. We all struggle with the right and the wrong and the left and the right. But one of the things about Americans that is so beautiful is that we will fight. We will battle. We will get pissed off. We will get angry. We will rebel against anything like this. Right? And I love that feeling in me. Like I love when I read the headline that Trump was going to send National Guard to Washington, D.C., that feeling in me.
you know, that feeling that's like,
hmm?
Federal, hmm?
Federal rights, states rights, you know, that whole thing.
That whole sort of rebellious American attitude boiling up inside of me.
And then I started thinking about the people who will be on the streets and yelling and screaming and giving these guys a hard time.
And it's easy to look at them in the black and white and be like, you know, just get out of the way and let them do what they need to do.
They're trying to clean up your city, right?
And that's the sort of the common sense answer to it all.
But at the same time, there is something to be said about just the general disgust, which is what it is.
It's just like a general disgust.
Nothing personal towards the National Guard troops, nothing personal towards your fellow Americans standing out there.
But I love that there is a general disgust when someone from somewhere else in a uniform,
with a weapon is all the sudden in the streets.
You know what I mean?
Or is all the sudden down the street?
Or is all the sudden in a place where they're not normally?
And that general, like, sometimes it's fear, sometimes it's anger.
Sometimes it's a disgust.
I loved it in America that just boils up naturally.
You know what I mean?
It's just, I mean, and you start thinking about all kinds of terrible trip wires and so forth that come to mind.
You know, like, I think it's a beautiful.
thing. I think bitching about the presidents is a beautiful thing. You know, I love all of it. I love all of it even when it's like my guy or whatever, you know. But it is, you know, it is a nerve-wracking thing because if you see the president take hold of a variety of cities across the country in order to maintain order, there's a lot of reasons someone might need to maintain order in the future, in the very near future, right?
and they can be used for good and evil.
It was only 2020 that we watched the same sort of mentality shaping our very lives.
The federal government coming down and saying,
we got to do this.
We just got to do it for your benefit.
I mean, we watched Joe Biden do the exact same thing after January 6th, remember?
January 6th, Joe Biden, oh, my God, the MAGA crew is coming.
Put the gates up around the White House.
Put the gates up in D.C.
Get the National Guard down there so they could fall asleep against the building they were so bored because the, you know, oath keepers are coming.
Nothing ever happened.
But so like I said, it's it can always be used as in favor in a way that you find favorable.
And it can always be used in a way that's terrible.
And that's federal power at large, which is why it never feels really great.
it never feels like we got the feds here life is good or this is good let's exact this
massive amount of power but i do like the idea of what else could it be used for right what else
could it be used for i do like that concept i do like the idea of you know i'm about to meet
we can go down the conspiracy theory alley if you'd like i'm about to meet with latimer
Putin up in Alaska. He's going to say some shit I don't like. We're going to go into war
with Russia. People are going to protest in the streets for the war. So we'll pre-position
these troops for some sort of localized martial law should it need to happen. Or maybe they
strike us with an EMP and we need to, you know, we need to instill martial law to keep people
from eating each other, whatever the situation is. Whatever the situation is, right? There's a million
sort of reasons for it all but so yeah it's happening one way or another it's historic it's
happening and uh if you're having feelings like let's say you you don't feel like you should be
having those feelings but if you're having those feelings of general disgust like me because you
see federal power being exacted at the state level it's a beautiful thing you know and when you
see those people throwing rocks to the National Guardsmen, it sucks for them, it really does,
or whatever the hell is going to happen. Maybe nothing will happen like that. I hope it won't.
But if you see that sort of rebellion boiling up in D.C., like, you have to remember this is,
if we beat that out of everyone here in the country, then all we are is people who follow rules
and let executive power run roughshod over our lives. Like, it's essential to fight back
against it. It's central. It's one of those things. It's just an essential to double, you know,
to double check and triple check, to ask questions, to say, why is this happening? Why is this
really happening? To question authority, although this is not something people get to do everywhere.
People show up in lines in body armor with rifles around the country, I mean, around the world.
It's not always, oh, that's going to work out just fine.
Sometimes they just start mowing people down.
You question anything, they shoot you, right?
They come into your house.
They take all the things that they need and leave, and you don't do anything about it.
It is a privilege of being American citizen, so you might as well use your rebellion and enjoy it.
Appreciate the moment in time, you know what I mean?
So let's take a look at something gorgeous.
Let's take a look at something rather gorgeous, shall we?
Now, I don't know if this is in your purview, okay?
This place is expensive.
Let's just get down to it.
What you're looking at here is a 35-acre property that borders the Jefferson National Forest.
I mean, this is a prepper homesteader home.
I'll get you some better images soon, but the red building up there is a 2,500 square foot three-bay shop building.
with one kitchen in a bedroom and a full bath,
attached to a 30 by 75-foot equipment shed.
That's not the house.
You know what I mean?
That's the workshop.
The house is a 5,000 square foot contemporary home,
five bedrooms, four full baths,
large basement, dense storage area.
There's a five-acre horse, livestock, field, and run.
There is a 120-volt,
AC solar power backup system.
Properties got two creeks to provide water for animals and other purposes.
There's a separate three-acre grazing field for your cows and your goats, your zeb...
What are they called?
What is the Z-Cack?
Z-Cal called, the little guy.
This is one of those places, guys.
This is one of those properties where, like, it all happens.
You know what I mean?
Where it all happens, it all takes place.
that sort of prep or dream of yours comes true.
I don't know it's 45 minutes from Roanoke, Virginia.
So you'll be here in the beautiful state of Virginia.
And there's a link down in the show description if you want to learn more about it.
There's a questionnaire in there to fill out different information about your interest and about, you know, there's some, there's also some questions in the questionnaire that are important for some things that we might do in the future.
You know what I mean?
Some things that might happen.
in the future so regarding this property so it's probably worth filling out the
questionnaire even if you're not like looking at it going like i want to drop one million
dollars on a house check out check out the link go in there fill out the questions
um i don't know you know that who knows you never know the full extent of the people
watching your show and all that kind of stuff so somebody could be out there looking for their
their property their next piece of heaven and uh this could be it for you this could be it for you
one thing's for sure if you're looking to relocate you're looking to do a community thing you're
looking to do a a homestead or prepper real seriously like serious lifestyle change retreat
whatever um this is the place you know what i mean this this is definitely the place if you're
into virginia but all right what else i think i'm finished
I think I'm finished.
