Starting point is 00:00:00 Good day, folks. Welcome in. Another week at PBN. The holidays are upon us. What do we got? A few days, few days. Let's talk about that for a minute. Let's talk about this sort of narcotizing.
Starting point is 00:00:30 effect. I don't know who uploaded this. I'm going to guess it was Jordan, but I appreciate it. Yeah. It's funny that it was sitting here waiting for me. I don't know if I did it. I can't remember. I don't think I did.
Starting point is 00:00:48 But I was sitting at the light in the vehicle, and I was thinking about the chemical weapon of the holiday season. let the chemical weapon of the holiday season into your lungs a bit let it infect you let it go to your head let it let it bring you know bring about sort of a kind of dysphoria euphoria dysmorphia i don't know it's one of those things it's
Starting point is 00:01:24 a special time a year and we're getting a little bit locked up in our stoic endeavors as men I think
Starting point is 00:01:32 you know what I mean our Aurelian stoicism and discipline about everything you gotta be careful you gotta be real careful about all of that
Starting point is 00:01:44 because it's not that hard to sort of kill things within you that are a whole lot of fun you know
Starting point is 00:01:51 maybe not kill them But you could certainly ignore them to the point where it's like impossible to sort of recover, right? Or maybe not impossible to recover, but you really got to spend a lot of time bringing. And I guess what I'm talking about is your inner child, right? That's really what it is. It's the time of year to really, you know, let that life in you come out, right? I see it a lot. I see, you know, these sort of like, I don't know, men who are just, they're so bought into this kind of stoic, overdisciplined sort of mentality, barely talk.
Starting point is 00:02:33 You know what I mean? They're like the head nod guys. Let it out. Let your spirit run free. Okay, gentlemen. Seriously. Like, get a little intoxicated off the chemical weapon of the holiday season. season because it's here it's here and it's great for most people it's great right for most people
Starting point is 00:02:56 it's a good time i know the holidays can be a holy horror show for a lot of people right there's a lot of things during the holiday season that can be hell you're divorced you have loved ones who passed away it's tough it can be tough but there's for the vast majority people there's a lot of people with family with loved ones with you know looking forward to thursday and going to enjoy a day you know i don't know we live in a time of what have you done for me lately in massive ungrateful behavior
Starting point is 00:03:27 you know what I mean everything works every day I'm sitting you know it's it's the land of milk and honey and you're living at the center of it you know you're bathing in the milk and honey and it this is just a reminder to let the chemical weapon that is the holiday season take effect breathe it in deep enjoy it right
Starting point is 00:03:58 put a turkey hat on put an apron on with a funny phrase on it have fun cooking have fun eating have fun cavorting around with the people that are important to you you know maybe maybe maybe even reignite some kind of relationship that has been suffering or been struggling, you know, fall in love again with, and I don't just mean in the romantic sense, but I mean, just fall in love with someone or something again, right? Like look at it with a new pair of eyes and say, oh, it's been so long since I've seen my cousin and thought about all the old things that we've done and how much fun we had and yada, yada, got it right if this time a year is not for that then what you might as well skip it you might
Starting point is 00:04:50 as well skip it save the money you know do the whole sort of you know ebenezer scrooge and just i don't know i wouldn't recommend it to me it's a ball to me it's a blast to me it's incredible it's everything it really is and you know i i have to thank my wife for that she's kept it alive me all these years the the she is very response my kids too largely but she is very responsible for that inner child um staying alive you know what i mean and if you can find someone like that that can do that for you so valuable folks well invaluable i've got a whole other diatribe on for men only really it really it's a diatribe on the value of or It's a diatribe on having good women in your life and how the whole of your life comes down to the women in your life.
Starting point is 00:05:55 Which is, I'm going to talk about this. I may, I don't know what, I don't know how this fits into what we do here. You know what I mean? But I do want to talk about this because it's, it's so counter to the current culture around men and women. There's a massive movement to just abandon women. You know what I mean? Like all together. It's just this massive movement in young men right now that are like,
Starting point is 00:06:18 forget about women, make your money, make your way in life. And then I think that is the worst advice I've ever heard. I really do. I think it's the worst advice I've ever heard because I can't go into it right now, guys. I will go into it, but I can't go. It's got to be a one-off piece of content. I'm finding myself running into a lot of these one-off pieces. It's a lot of the reason that the Red Beacon media platform is going up
Starting point is 00:06:48 is because I'm too far branching out of prepping. Preping is a box that simply never could hold me to begin with, right? And a lot of people liked my show because of that, right? But there are these one-off, these large one-off pieces of content that in my, you know, seasoned years, seasoned you see salt pepper um they just they take a long time right i mean they just they really are important they they're more important than a quick segment and this one in particular is is very important i was just thinking about it yesterday because it was all the time i'm thinking
Starting point is 00:07:30 you know what i mean and i'm always thinking like one of the things i constantly think about is how did i get here right remember that's song by the talking heads that's me i think i think about that stuff all the time like what what's the how did i wind up in this situation and uh yeah it's just it's one of those things it's like i look back on my life and i realize that the in a nutshell like the having highly valuable women in my life this is way beyond the romantic sense right having highly valuable women in my life and ridding myself of the witches it it really may be literally the whole tale of my life it like all the happiness all the success you know outside
Starting point is 00:08:26 of meeting my own duties and responsibilities but i want to talk about that you know i want to talk about that on its own i would like to get the ukraine russia war wrapped up with a bow on top right and i'm over at the epic times russia ukraine war u.s ukraine say they have updated and refined peace framework to end the war and i think what i've read when did this come out 1123 okay the united states ukraine have an updated and refined peace framework to end the war what that means, guys, is Ukraine's ready to give up some land. Ukraine's ready to put their hands up and say, I think we might have, we might have taken enough of a beating, right?
Starting point is 00:09:14 No, I'm going to be wrong. Russia's taking a beating, too. It's a beautiful thing. I mean, from the Russian standpoint, I don't know how you guys feel about it. One of the things I said to my son, like, two years ago, was, well, you'll never have to worry about going to war with Russia. I can tell you that much. You'll never be facing Russian soldiers as an American.
Starting point is 00:09:33 if you join the military or something like that because they've been decimated i don't care what anybody says i don't care i don't care you know what i mean i've watched the footage i've seen you know what i mean i know what i mean i know what the deal is they've been at war a very long time now and it's taken its toll and uh it's going to take time to recover the two nations called the meeting highly productive who meet who met it was rubio and zelensk right in Voldemort. According to a joint statement issued by the White House, November 23rd, after talks in Geneva, Switzerland, the new version of the agreement would provide stronger security guarantees to protect you came from future attacks. But the Russians also say they want the Ukrainian armed
Starting point is 00:10:14 forces limited. I don't know if that's in here or not, but I read that this morning. Trump's administration earlier, peace plan received criticism from the U.S. law by both side of Europe, concessions to Russia. You're going to have to concede to Russia. I mean, why? what's what is this you think this is not a good guys win out thing i mean this is not even a good guys versus bad guys thing we're talking about ukraine ran by the voldemort right like this is not a good guys bad guy situation this is not like a victory for america and europe i i don't understand what what people are after here you know you can't undo what's been done no matter what russian says or does even if russia walks
Starting point is 00:10:59 back to their border and says, okay, we're all done. Sorry about that. We'll send you some oil money. Like, you still are dead. You're still out eight million or some odd Ukrainians, right, who have either left or been killed. You got a long road to hoe, my friends. The war between Russia can is a violent, terrible one that strong and proper U.S. and Ukrainian leadership would have never happened. Trump wrote, Ukrainian leadership has expressed zero gratitude for our efforts and Europe continues to buy oil from Russia. The leadership in Europe and the Democrats in the United States, like, I don't know if you guys are good at pattern recognition.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Like, I'm definitely in the wrong business. I probably should have paid attention in math and went into Wall Street, and I would have been rich, but I don't even know if rich makes for a good life, to be honest. people who are rich, their lives are hell. But had I go on that route, because pattern recognition for me is one of these things that it's just hilarious to watch. You know what I mean? The whole do as I say, not as I do thing, right?
Starting point is 00:12:09 Like, we need more support from America to stop this war. This is the Europeans, right? And then they turn around and they're shelling cash out to Putin for oil. Give me that cheap Russian oil. Give me that cheap war. I love it. It's so liberal Democrat. It's unreal.
Starting point is 00:12:27 You know what I mean? It's so liberal, it's so leader of black lives mattered by $6 million house in all white neighborhood. You know what I mean? It's just, that's what it is. It's perfect. I mean, it's just you can't, you couldn't write up the comedy as well as they write it up on their own. Less than three hours later, Ukrainian president Voldemort Zelensky expressed gratitude for U.S. leadership in the ex post. The leadership of the United States is important. Okay, I don't know. Trump said jump and Baltimore said how high. That's the deal. So what are the terms? European allies said they were not consulted with Washington was drafting a plan, leading to some confusion.
Starting point is 00:13:12 Yeah, who cares? Draft your own plan if it's such a big deal. Late November 22nd before traveling to Geneva, Rubio said on social media that the United States had authored the plan with input from the Russian side, but also based on previous and on-go. going input from Ukraine. Erdogan to speak with Putin on Monday. Turkish president. I didn't say this guy's name. His name is T-A-Y-Y-I-P.
Starting point is 00:13:45 Te-Y-Y-Y-I-P. That's like one of those comic sounds, like a sound that you see when something happens, like guy through, like whip somebody or like it's a punch. Or a kick, the Taip Erdogan said he would have a phone call with Putin on November 24 to discuss efforts to end the war in Ukraine. Adding that he would also request the resumption of a deal for safe passage of grains in the Black Sea. That's a big deal. Turkey and NATO member kind of has kept up cordial relations with both Ukraine and Russia during the nearly four-year-long war.
Starting point is 00:14:22 It's important, though. I mean, when you think about it, when you stop and think about what you. what Turkey has done. They've taken a lot of flack for being on the fence. But they really have kept, they've been one of the only countries at all to talk to Putin. Throughout the whole thing, right? During press conference at the G20 summit in South African, Erdogan said the 2022 Black Sea grain deal that was negotiated between Turkey and the United States
Starting point is 00:14:50 could demonstrate a path forward for a peaceful end to the war in Ukraine. We got a long road to hoe, you know. We got a long road to hoe, but we're getting there. It is what it is. What did you guys think of, of Mamdani? What did you think of that? What did you guys think of Mamdani coming to town? The Sultan coming to town.
Starting point is 00:15:18 What did you think? It was a very interesting little meeting. It was a lot more cordial than I thought it would be. Did you think it would be so cordial between the town? I was very surprised. Let's put a little, ooh, remember I talked about the inner child? You can't be like a stoic Marcus Aurelius, wake up at 4.30 in the morning and run 10 miles type of guy and then throw this border on your show. Or maybe you can.
Starting point is 00:15:50 And maybe that's what you should be, right? Maybe you should aspire to that. I don't know. I don't know. one of the things I don't like is amidst this chaos the holiday season comes rolling in I love these little mushrooms right here look at them the holiday season oh there's some over here too the holiday season comes rolling in and everybody's long in the face and miserable you know what I mean don't do it don't do it terrible um so sorry totally totally wrapped up in my cool little border here the only problem here stream yard is that the border sits in front of the name that shouldn't be that's a bad that's a bad move how about little turkey in a cart where did all the turkeys go
Starting point is 00:16:40 oh but anyway back to mom donnie mom donnie comes in one of my favorite parts about the mom donnie trump thing and and i think this moment was historic and this moment um was vital i Like, I should play it. I should play it, but I don't feel like playing it. Maybe I'll play it later in the week. Oh, and by the way, later in the week, I actually took video of my drunken cranberry sauce. Okay? My cranberry sauce is not really cranberry sauce, but it's unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:17:17 Okay? It's just a, it was one of these things where I had a bunch of fresh cranberries one year, and I had to make cranberry sauce, and I threw it together. real quick. We're going to do an SHTF chef. We're going to get back to SHTF chef and all that kind of stuff. I have some great plans for SHTF chef. Firewolf. In fact, there's going to be an SHTF chef hat and coat that I'm going to wear. But we need it to be appropriately christened. Okay. And I got to talk to some people about the christening of said coat and hat. And then I may even be able to get a few people to help with the christening more on that to come but most importantly the commander's drunken i don't know if it's if it's that maybe we'll call it the vino veritas cranberry sauce i like that a little better but it is the vino veritas cranberry sauce and it's phenomenal i took some video of me putting it together real short we'll run it in the background as a video while i
Starting point is 00:18:18 give you the recipe but i will give you the recipe tomorrow and uh i might be on early okay look for me early this week we've got whenever the holidays come we've got shows are all wacky they're early they're late that kind of stuff right so look for me early i might be earlier get the get the after show whatever but that's going to be a winner okay the continuity is meeting tonight i'll send that out to the continuity crew i email that whole kind of thing we've got yeah me and me and We and Volcano met last Monday, and we had a really good talk. It was a really good, good talk for sure. But anyway, continuity's been a little bit wacky.
Starting point is 00:18:58 All the stuff gets, all the scheduled stuff gets a little wacky, November, December. It's tough, you know, and everybody's got stuff going on. Anyhow, there's a million other things to talk about, okay? The Black Friday catalog, there's new ads in the Black Friday catalog. There'll be great prepping deals from Amazon. on the Black Friday catalog what we're doing different this year than we never did before I used to stick uh I used to stick right one set of ads in the Black Friday catalog and leave it but I paid for a better service this year and it allows me to add ads
Starting point is 00:19:38 to it throughout the whole thing so that's what we're going to do like the catalog started at 35 pages or something like that and we've added multiple ads we added a company called Curitiva Bay. Got to check them out. Another company called QUX pay. QUX pay in 2026. You're going to hear a lot about. You're going to hear a lot about them.
Starting point is 00:19:58 In fact, PBN and Red Beacon Media are going to be on the QUX platform, which whole another story will have to get their CEO on to explain that dude's trying to take over the world. But anyway, yeah, a lot of cool stuff going in the catalog. The Mark 37 guys are going in today. Okay. So keep an eye on that. catalog keep going to it there's a link in the in the description down below keep looking in that
Starting point is 00:20:23 catalog because it's going to keep uh growing you know what i mean there'll be new ads more ads different stuff going into the dave jones the nbcc guys with us holy macaroni i'm telling the teachers i'm telling the teachers yeah so it'll keep evolving it'll keep going right every time we run into it i'm talking to another lady right now what would what would happen last year is we put the catalog out and then a bunch of people would come to me after the deadline and be like can we get in and i'd be like no the deadline's up um so that's that firewolf says he's he's having trouble at the forge what do you mean by that matter of fact i need to put you on the docket for this week right now you want to see the magic book here's the magic book okay the magic book we need a
Starting point is 00:21:10 hammer talk on wednesday hey and if you if you put together one of those Christmas hooks and film it I would love a special Christmas hook hammer talk that would be kind of cool if not no big I know it's a busy time of year but I will I will get you that address Firewolf don't worry about it very cool man the coffee's tremendous uh let's talk about turkey Dave Jones what'd you think about Mom Donnie what did you think about Mom Donnie meeting with Donald Trump. That's the question I have for Dave Jones. The Sultan showed up and, you know, oh, I never even told you what my thing was.
Starting point is 00:21:57 You see that? See, I need a, I need a, I need a, I don't know what I need. Well, I need, what I have, I need. I need a set of show notes, right? And I have them. I just don't look at them. My question is, what did you think of Mom, Donnie? but what I wanted to talk about was the importance of both those guys saying to one another
Starting point is 00:22:18 what they actually thought of one another. This was a beautiful moment for me. This was an absolutely beautiful moment. When Donald Trump admitted that he thought that Mamdani was a communist and had some communist leanings, and then when the reporter questioned Mondani and said, you called him a despot, you called him a tyrant, and Trump turned to him and said, you can call me a despot, it's fine. And then he did.
Starting point is 00:22:44 And we didn't say it, but he said, yeah, that's how I feel. This was monumental moment, okay? Because this is the way that politics should work going forward. You know what I mean? Like this is the way, well, this is also the way the interaction should work going forward. This is the way that things worked in my family growing up. You know what I mean? It would definitely be the holidays would come around and the sisters and brothers would get together.
Starting point is 00:23:09 I'm talking about, you know, my aunts and uncles in my world. And they would call you, oh, you're such a pain in the ass. Oh, you're always late. Oh, you're this, you're that, the other thing. And I just always liked that sort of matter-of-fact talk. You know what I mean? But intimately, not like on the stage for a debate where it's all a big show. But literally, like, we're going to sit down.
Starting point is 00:23:32 It kind of reminds me like, it kind of reminds me like Mussolini meeting Hitler type of thing. You know what I mean? It's like, oh, I know you're a fascist. You know I'm a Nazi. I'm killing the Jews. this is all the things that are happening right now but we're going to talk right i think that might be that that might be part of the key firewolf is is not taking offense maybe taking some offense but not having the offense become the whole story in other words the whole conversation
Starting point is 00:24:00 comes to an end because you think i'm a communist and i think you're a desperate right and really really what made that all worth what made that all happen and what always makes that happened by the way the key ingredient was they had a central point to discuss in other words the tyrant and the communists got together to discuss new york city right and the future of new york city and that's what made that work if they just got together to discuss plans you know what i mean like oh i want money and you want this and whatever the situation is in other words there was most of these interactions politically there's no substance and i think that's the problem right there's no substance in the political interaction other than you want money to line your pockets i want to get my insider
Starting point is 00:24:52 trading done let's call each other names and then uh you know whatever nothing gets done but i don't know that was the big takeaway for me was was for them guys to sit there and go you can call me a despot and then him to go yeah yeah i think he's a communist and that kind of thing and everything to just be kind of what it was and all right those are our titles let's carry on and get the work done let's get the business done right that really stood out to me i don't know it was something was something you know what it was it was kind of the reignition of of the individual again right and the idea that individuals even if they don't agree can exist together right because i think the culture of America is all about the individual. That's what it is. What can the individual
Starting point is 00:25:43 become at his greatest, right? What can the individual achieve? What can an individual look like at its highest sort of level of aspiration? That's America. That is with freedom, the wind of freedom at your back what can the individual become you know and what we're living through today is sort of the counter to that which is how can we destroy the individual how can we box them in with other people how can we destroy their their reputation in the public eye how can we destroy the individual using groups and races and genders and so on right when in reality you look at America, you look at the Christian basis of America, you look at the basis of law in America, and it's all the individual. It's all about the individual. And what have they done? What can they do?
Starting point is 00:26:42 What can they become? Right. It's a beautiful thing. Dave Jones sums it up very succinctly. I recognize that line. We the people. You want to talk Turkey before I go? where did all the turkeys go this is an interesting one because it talks a little bit about the the avian flu which is always a topic in the prepper world um sylvia zoo where did all the turkeys go one thing that happened i don't know if you guys can i don't know if you guys are seeing this as well but the turkey prices are high i got my turkey early and very cheap um but from what i hear and what i see turkey prices do seem to be high americans will eat nearly 30 million turkeys this thanksgiving the national turkey
Starting point is 00:27:42 federation and uh estimates that's almost as many turkeys as there are people in texas it's good stat although turkeys continue to take center stage on the thanksgiving table american turkey farmers are challenged this holiday season by a drop demand a company by ongoing outbreaks of bird flu does that make sense to you guys which disrupts supplies drives up prices and threatens farm livelihoods does that make it i don't understand that line what is up nub guys make sure you go over to l2 survive at youtube and subscribe definitely L2 Survive also in the Black Friday catalog. Subscribe, leave a comment, do the stuff, right?
Starting point is 00:28:32 Yeah, I don't understand that. If the demand is dropped, then that's a problem. And then like half of your turkeys die from the bird flu, and that's a problem. I mean, I guess you'd lose money from the dead birds, but you're going to lose money anyway because the demand dropped, right? So what? I don't understand it. I thought I understood supply and demand.
Starting point is 00:28:51 The way things work nowadays, I don't, I can't figure. it out. American turkey farmers are challenged this holiday by a drop in demand, accompanied by outbreaks of bird flu, which disrupts supplies and drive up prices and threatens farm livelihoods. Turkey consumption in the United States has followed an arc over the past century, driven by agricultural, technological, and health trends. According to the USDA economic research, the average person in the U.S. ate less than three pounds of turkey a year in 1930s, 40s, by 6. 60, that number had double, as producers introduced specialized bird breeders that yielded more meat.
Starting point is 00:29:30 Yeah, that makes sense. Turkey started exploding when I was young because of the low-fat, no-fat, terrible diet that everyone was pushing, remember? The low-fat, even I did it. Every so often I'd have on Friday, we would always eat out because we had six pizza shops in my tiny town of 2,000 people outside of 50. Philly, right? This little, little speck of an oil refinery town. I think we had 2,000 people in our city. We were surrounded by people, but our little town, which was very insulated. I mean, it was like a rayon factory town turned into an oil refinery town, right? We had four pizza shops on 10th Street. No, 1, 2, 3, 3 pizza shops on 10th Street.
Starting point is 00:30:22 we had six total pizza shops in our tiny little town insane so naturally we eat pizza on friday payday and sometimes we get cheese steaks sometimes we get pizza sometimes we get hoagies and a lot of times i'd get a turkey hoagie because even when i was 12 or whatever yeah i was i knew i was already sort of brainwashed by the the idea of uh low fat no fat cholesterol saturated fat you're going to die you're going to have a heart attack don't eat anything that's good you know what In total, USDA projects 4.5 billion pounds of turkey will be eaten in 2025. The lowest amount since 1990. Oh, you know what?
Starting point is 00:31:02 Also, it has to do probably the red meat kind of, the red meat craze that's hitting everybody. So what's up with the bird flu? Since February 2020, highly pathogenic avian flu, also known as bird flu, has resulted in the death of almost 21 million turkeys or about. Now, I should read it all before I make remarks, right? HPAI is nearly 100% fatal to birds exposed, according to the former national Turkey. The symptoms generally minor. MPV is equally devastating. Now, here's my problem, right, with the bird flu.
Starting point is 00:31:41 I'm not going to talk about it jumping to, I'm not going to talk about it jumping to human beings and killing off the whole population. What I am going to talk about is the slaughtering of all infected birds Because this doesn't make any sense to me either Right now I get it you don't want your whole flock to die So find the birds that are infected isolate them kill them off Makes sense rather than spread it throughout the flock But what about finding the birds who do survive Isn't this the only way you get any version of flock immunity herd immunity?
Starting point is 00:32:19 to let those birds mate reproduce and now we slowly start to build a base of birds who can survive the the virus what we do instead is kill everything so any bird that had the potential to survive the virus
Starting point is 00:32:37 develop immunity gets nuked and you just go back to praying oh I sure hope it doesn't come this year right I don't know I guess the problem is you build up that flock immunity, then all of a sudden you can't vaccinate for it, maybe. You can't provide feed with special antibiotics in it because, well, our flocks immune, right?
Starting point is 00:33:04 Our flocks immune, nothing to worry about. Together, these two respiratory viruses have exponentially increased volatility, supply shortages, and market uncertainty. I've never seen supply shortage. or market uncertainty in turkeys in my whole life. Every time I've ever went to get a turkey, there's been a turkey there. Every time I've wanted a turkey, off-season, there's been turkey. You ever remember not being able to get a turkey? This is a weird story.
Starting point is 00:33:34 It's not my favorite from the Epic Times, I'll tell you that much. It's not one of me favorites from the old Epic Times. So I'm going to sign off, folks. I do appreciate you. Stay tuned. We got good content all week. Okay. Like I said, tomorrow or Wednesday, I will do my SHTF chef for the commanders. What I call it? Not the drunken cranberry. The vino veritas cranberry sauce, okay? And yes, it does require vino, but it is tremendous. It is absolutely tremendous. So I'll do that recipe. We've got what else is going on this week?
Starting point is 00:34:15 I don't know. A lot of holiday talk, a lot of cooking talk. your cooking questions, your leftovers questions, all that kind of stuff.
