Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to P-B-N. You're playing back the stability here. Good day, folks. Welcome in National Preparedness Month is kicked off and you're in the right place, man. You are in the right place for that. I'm James Walton, the Intrepid Commander here at the Prepper Broadcasting Network. You may know us as PBN. PBN is our way of infiltrating the mind that is manipulated by the word prepper, right? People get like, they glit. They, oh, my mic, my mic was muted. National preparedness month is upon us, folks. And we've got a ton of content to drop on you really starting yesterday, right? starting yesterday. Starting yesterday, we launched Dave Jones, the NBC guy, doing 30 tips in 30 days. It's going to be, you know, right from the heart of Dave Jones, the NBC guy. We did the same thing last year, actually. And, well, if he gives us 10 more years, we'll have enough to do the entire year's worth of tips. But we're going to do that anyway. We have the horsepower for that. So this month, you know, we've got some awesome new, sponsors that are going to come on board probably this week actually we have an unlimited
Starting point is 00:02:07 it feels like well of sponsors i do want to give a shout out actually to one of our sponsors at the head of the show because something amazing happened with them over the weekend it wow look what fell out of that book look what fell out of that book the changing earth series the Changing Earth podcast, the Changing Earth audio drama. This is a great sticker, actually. I've got to put this on the new laptop. An amazing book series.
Starting point is 00:02:39 Our PBN's sister, my sister, and amazing overall human being, General Slacker, I might add. General Slacker, only she will get a kick out of that. But General Slacker here at the Prepar Broadcasting Network, who if you haven't heard the audio drama, You have to listen to PBN on the podcast side, iTunes, Spotify, and so on.
Starting point is 00:03:04 What's up, Jay Ferg? Welcome in. You have to listen to the podcast side if you're not currently listening to the podcast side because over there we have the audio drama. We have all our great hosts and it's awesome. You know, the audio drama was created by Sarah. Just funny that this fell out of there. But before we get fully rocking and rolling, I want to give a shout out to our sponsor, Dr.
Starting point is 00:03:25 William Forgey. He did something amazing this weekend. The Preppers Medical Handbook, man, this thing, National Preparedness Month, you want to get your hands on this guy, all right. The Preppers Medical Handbook. Chat, is this mirrored or not? Does this look right? Because to me, it looks wrong. And I want to get it right. But anyway, at the head of the Labor Day weekend, our longest sponsor went in on a full lifetime membership. And it really blew me away. it really blew me away. I was very surprised. Not necessarily, well, I was surprised. It took me by complete surprise. And I saw Dr. William Ford signed up for a lifetime membership,
Starting point is 00:04:08 and it was just kind of a validation of, you know, what we do here at PBN, both for our audience and for our sponsors. So welcome to the ride, folks. Welcome to the ride. This is going to be an awesome month. We're bringing back a segment that we haven't done in a while called One Threat, One Solution. As I mentioned, we have the Jones tips. We're going to have waves of crazy stuff, gear, items, candy, coffee,
Starting point is 00:04:38 just a lot of interesting stuff that's out there in the tactical and prepping world that I have gathered and decided let's just unleash it all in sort of a flurry over the month of September because, you know, this is our month. We're going to be doing, I'm going to be over at Instagram more frequently for those of you who partake. I know the chat room here does for sure. And yeah, it's, it's going to be a big one, man. It's going to be a big one for sure. There's no doubt about it. And of course, it all rounds out in the big family reunion, the big PBN family reunion Prepper Camp, where we will, have you got your Preper Camp tickets? I don't even know if they're, are they still
Starting point is 00:05:23 on sale? Preppercamp.com. Probably be on sale all the way up till the end. Up to the day, you can't buy them there. Coffee pause. But, yeah, suffice it to say, tinfoil hat contest. It's going to be a good, there's going to be a really nice prize pack for the tinfoil hat contest this year. And it is exactly what it sounds like, for those of you are unaware. It is exactly what it sounds like, tinfoil hat contest. Yeah, what can you come up with?
Starting point is 00:05:58 What are the limits of your creativity with a role of aluminum foil? Because it could net you some amazing prizes at Preper Camp. That will go down Saturday at noon during the lunch period of Preper Camp. No classes. Come find a disaster coffee booth. And, yeah, I'll be over there. We're going to have some tinfoil hats on ourselves at Preperic, at my disaster coffee booth and the adjacent booth. maybe adjacent booths
Starting point is 00:06:28 depending on who I know I don't know exactly the layout just yet but depending on all who's there that's going to be a good one so okay what else what else are the to-does
Starting point is 00:06:41 we're not on YouTube right now unfortunately it is what it is is what it is YouTube not a big fan of us here at PBN apparently a touch too radical for them I'm gonna get rid of this Litch This lid's doing me no favors on the coffee cup here.
Starting point is 00:07:00 So let's get into it, folks. I want to talk civil unrest. I listened on the way to school today. I was listening to the Civil War Brewing in the UK. If we get time, I might get into that. I didn't really set aside the soundbite for it. But it's wild what's happening over there. Well, it's New York City.
Starting point is 00:07:20 It sounds exactly like sort of the New York City situation, right? Yeah, it is what it is. Jay Ferg, I don't know. We'll see. We'll see. Well, let's take it. Let me hip you guys to a little something real quick. Let me pick up the old ghost phone here. I don't want to tell you everything about this, because I don't want to make this go away. This is really nice. But there is an application called this one.
Starting point is 00:07:56 focus because it's manually focused on my face because if I don't manually focus, it doesn't work. For those of you who have been spending time on YouTube or spend time on YouTube, and if you notice, things are changing on YouTube, I'd highly recommend you check out new pipe, new pipe. Just go check it out. That's all. I don't want to add any more to the subject. I don't want to create anything. I don't want to create problems because I don't know how they do what they do over at New Pipe, but I know it's sweet, okay? So there are some things about YouTube,
Starting point is 00:08:30 despite the fact that they hate me and my people, that I don't like about YouTube in general anymore. And I think you don't like these things about YouTube either. But if you go to New Pipe, you might notice something. It might take you a minute. It might take you a few videos before you realize, oh, I see what's going on. But go check out New Pipe.
Starting point is 00:08:53 New pipe, one word. All right, I'll stop feverishly drinking the coffee. I'm sorry. I didn't drink a lot of coffee yesterday, and today I'm like just pounding it. It's just wherever I can find it. I'll buy one. I made it. You know, the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Okay, let's get into it. That's what I picked the phone up for. The things that are happening in this country, uh, as I mentioned before, were just all, We're all attention compromised. And it's important to know what's going on. We should talk about Chicago, too. Chicago had a bang-up weekend.
Starting point is 00:09:32 Had a bang-up weekend. You know what they had? They had one of those weekends that, well, what do they call it on the Democrat side? They call it a manufactured crisis weekend. Yeah. We'll talk about that manufactured crisis that happened in Chicago over the Labor Day weekend. But don't worry, it's all manufactured by Donald Trump. by the way and listen um this like leveling off of the political and the religious and all that
Starting point is 00:10:01 kind of stuff i see you guys out there i'm not mad i understand you're trying to make a living i'm talking to the preppers now who are out there making videos and and doing trying to do preparedness only content i understand what you're doing but it uh it's never going to happen here. And hopefully any hosts who are listening, who might be on the fence or something along those lines or any of our audience, just understand. Like, we, we, the core of PBN is say what you want to say. That's the core. Preparedness, close second, right? But this is definitely a vehicle for saying what the hell you want to say. So as the world of online content creation starts to like, I don't know, it starts to sort of become more efficient.
Starting point is 00:10:57 People are understanding how to be successful. There's a bunch of videos out there telling you how to get subscribers and how to get followers and all that kind of stuff. And I see sort of a leveling off of the bipartisan or the partisan at all. And I see a leveling off of the religious in the prepping world, the emergency preparedness world. And I just want everybody to know that we're going to be. be, you know, like hateful and partisan and praise God here on PBN. And it doesn't, I don't
Starting point is 00:11:30 care. I don't care who it upsets. And I don't care if you don't watch it anymore. Not that we've ever really changed. Not that we're ultra-partisan. But when the time comes, okay, when the moment comes when you have a situation like you haven't watched in D.C., right, where we go through a stretch of however many days it's been and there hasn't been a murder of a black person in Washington, D.C. If you think I can sit here with a camera and a microphone in my face and not go,
Starting point is 00:12:01 so how are the Democrats not at least mentioning the fact that, hey, no black people have died in D.C. in over a week. Maybe this thing has some upsides, right? And you'll see the same thing over in Chicago. You'll see the exact same sort of blindness, the exact same sort of just nightmare. It really, I mean, it really is a nightmare. It really is a manufactured world.
Starting point is 00:12:31 And I don't think we do any favors by pretending like it doesn't exist, right? We don't do any favors by sitting around and going on middle of the road. I'll tell you how to stack your canned goods appropriately. And I'll never mention my religion and I'll never mention political. affiliation in any way. And the real tough channels do this thing where they make believe that it's all a game. It's all a game, the political thing, and the parties are exactly the same, and it's a one-party system, and you're a fool if you believe otherwise.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Okay. Something tells me that you're not looking at reality. So let's get into it, man. Where's my civil unrest headline from the Grayman Brief? I want to thank those guys. Because there's a lot going on in America outside of Washington, D.C. You wouldn't know it. You would think that the greatest event in modern American history was unfolding in Washington, D.C.
Starting point is 00:13:28 right now, and the great tyranny of it all, right? But it's a little more than that. This may be really loud. I apologize. Turn your volume. The gray man brief civil unrest. continues across the U.S. with Antifa disruptions, pro-Palestinian rallies, anti-ice riots, extremist threats, localized acts of vandalism, and direct actions by LGBT extremists.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Hired mobs disrupt D.C., 40,000 Muslims march in Michigan, I'm guessing, Dearborn, IED threats posed by anti-ice and Hamas in Texas and Massachusetts. trans ideologies infiltrate the school girl scouts so there's a lot here to unpack if anybody in chat wants to hear one thing more than the other um yeah let me know crowds on demand crowds on demand do you know what crowds on demand is crowds on demand is crowds on demand is very interesting a company that hires paid protesters reported a 400 percent local requests between May and July 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. Adam Swart, remember when we used to say, I wonder how long this company's been in business,
Starting point is 00:14:58 by the way, crowds on demand. Remember when we used to say some of this stuff, dropping pallets of bricks off? There's something going on. These riots in 2020 look staged. Some of them look staged. There's civil unrest. There's paid agitators. Remember that?
Starting point is 00:15:17 And everybody would be like, these right-wingers are out of their mind, right? They're nuts. What are they're talking about? These are people who are genuinely upset about the conditions and about the death of George Floyd. Right? You remember? Oh, well, crowds on demand, CEOed by Adam Swart, said many political event attendees in DC are compensated in some form, including congressional staffers attending as part of their jobs.
Starting point is 00:15:45 The surge in demand comes as The president-federalized Metropolitan Police It's wild It's wild, man, when you think about it, right? I love when I see people come over to the winning side And they're like, you know How'd you know it was going on for so long? We did not have our common sense muted
Starting point is 00:16:10 Fundamentally, right? I mean, you take people from my neighborhood where I grew up you know I mean not not highly educated people people that I grew up with my like family and and these people can look at a situation and go this doesn't look right you know what I mean just out of street smarts and common sense and and you know blue collar work they can see through the bullshit but these people who are college educated geniuses and all that kind of stuff like they look at it and go no way man this is this is the plight of the people that we're seeing in action here in brooklyn new york on august
Starting point is 00:16:56 19th i heard nothing about this by the way masked antifa affiliates attempted to disrupt gatherings in crown heights on the 34th anniversary of the 1991 crown heights riots locals including both black and jewish residents confronted the agitators telling them to leave the neighborhood But, yeah, it got ugly. It got a, who, you know, who are these? When are we going to do something about these? I guess we are kind of doing something about it. And in Dearborn, in Dearborn, by the way,
Starting point is 00:17:28 Deerborn, you have been taken over. You've been taken over. Deerborn, Michigan is Iraq. I mean, it's been taken over. In the same way that boats are landing on the U.K., the island, and just a nonstop flow of illegal immigration is happening, and the U.K. government's like, put them up in a hotel. The same way that that's a takeover, and history will look back and say, the United Kingdom was taken over by illegal immigrants, radicalized Muslims, probably is what history will say, if it's clear, from X year to X. year. That's exactly what's happened. Dearborn is a rap. August 18th, 40,000 plus Shia Muslims and pro-Palestinians participated in Arbine. I don't know how to pronounce that word. It's way
Starting point is 00:18:25 too many vowels in that word. It doesn't even make sense. March in an event described as the largest Muslim street occupation. Interesting choice of words from our friends. And rally in America. The march featured participants carrying various flags. with pro-Muslim narratives and anti-Israel messaging and was held to commemorate at the 40-day morning period following the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, who claimed to be the descendant of the Prophet Muhammad. It's beautiful, right?
Starting point is 00:18:56 And you know what they definitely had? There was one thing, actually, there was one thing missing from the occupation of Dearborn Michigan. You know what was missing? See, because we love our First Amendment, right, here in the United States to protest and to gather and talk shit. But you know what was missing? thing over at Dearborn i mean you could find me a picture if you'd like i'd love to see one there
Starting point is 00:19:19 were no american flags hmm how curious how curious not a single american flag showed up in deerborn hmm interesting how all these giant gatherings i wonder how many purchased protesters were in deerboard too but funny how all these gatherings about freedom and liberty and democracy happen completely void of the stars and stripes right should let you know a little something that's good enough we don't have to go down the list suffice to say there's all kinds of stuff happening and uh really the the democrat provd the machine of news is going chicago ashkin dc the great tyrant is coming he has come and he is coming and he is coming and And that's what we should worry about. And the ice raids. And the terror and the horror of the ice raids. Don't worry about 40,000 people in a street occupation of Dearborn. Now, what would happen in Dearborn? I wonder if 40,000 people decided, hey, we gathered 40,000 people. Hamas only had like, what? How many did they have on January, or I mean, on October 7th? Very interesting. Hmm, wonder what could happen? All good. Nothing to worry about.
Starting point is 00:20:40 nothing to worry about folks see this is a core of why we prepare this is why it kind of agitates me when people are like you know trying to take this little cushiony comfy position in preparedness you know we're like let's just talk about water filtration I think it's I think it's important right I think it's important to say I think as a prepper as a person who is willing to get on in public and be like I'm preparing for things to go completely off the rails per people per intergalactic per mother nature like this is what I'm preparing for this puts you in like a foreshadowing forethinking kind of mindset right this is like what you do like you foreshadow and to me it seems like a lost opportunity to to shear off that sort of
Starting point is 00:21:40 you know, no stradomic view of the world in order to be a little more consumable by more people. Right. How do I get my larger audience? How do I get my 100,000 YouTube subscribers? I do that by making believe politics, race, and religion don't exist. Hey, to each his own. They're making a hell of a lot more money than I am. I'll tell you that much out there pretending nothing is real.
Starting point is 00:22:07 but doing a lot better over there on you i'm saying you i can't even access i'm liable to lose that channel too next they're allowed to kick that channel off permanently and erase erase me once again in my my friends you know it's not even just me right it's me and all my friends we put this effort into this thing and youtube's like ta ta it's nice to know you sorry you didn't obey the tyrannical algorithm and you dared speak opinions that aren't approved you like when people say unalived on YouTube, my testicles hurt. You know what I mean? I'm like, come on. You can't say the word dead? Are you kidding me? The things that are on YouTube and you can't say the word dead for fear that your video is going to get flagged, you're in the wrong line of work.
Starting point is 00:22:53 You might think that being a content creator is going to be great and free you from your nine to five, but you've got to reevaluate. Like, your nine to five might not be that bad. And you might be in a situation where you can say mostly what you want. Getting in bed with YouTube more and more seems like this thing where like the boss you hate is just sitting there waiting for you. It's waiting for you to get locked into monetizing yourself at YouTube and then you have that same boss in the algorithm and in the restrictions and community strikes. Be careful. Be careful where your money comes from. We are lucky enough that our money comes from our members largely and our sponsor.
Starting point is 00:23:34 You know, and that's what a blessing, right? And since it is national preparedness month, we are offering a, uh, an awesome discount on membership, $10 off for the annual, okay? You go to pbnfamily.com, see the tremendous website, right? Let's talk about pbnfamily.com real quick. Let's talk about it because it's, it's a beautiful place. It's a beautiful and wonderful place, right? And it should be enjoyed by all. Bring it up here. Bring it up here. Let me make sure everything's good. PBNfamily.com. This is our membership website, okay?
Starting point is 00:24:16 You don't get the admin board up top. I do. You become a member. You get access to all this stuff. Not only do you support our show, which, you know, goes a long way. You're supporting the voices of 13 people that spread across the internet to get more people prepared, self-reliant, independent. we are the path back to stability yada yada yada right but you gain access to tremendous things the preparedness master schedule is are you busy do you struggle to stay prepared throughout the year
Starting point is 00:24:46 this will handle that for you all you got to do it is open it open this document up once a week see what needs to get done check check check check done um the ultimate preppers group calorie homestead spreadsheet is you're sitting here in suburbia and you're saying my 10 acres my 20 acres my hundred acres is out there waiting for me. When I get there, what do I need? How many chickens do I need to feed my family of five? Or maybe you're even planning a larger community. We're going to bring a handful of buddies, a handful of family members. We're going to have a community of 12 people. What's that look like? How many chickens, pigs, goats, you know, what do you need to get it all done? How much food storage? This spreadsheet does that perfectly. Maybe you're sticking to food storage
Starting point is 00:25:32 through five-gallon bucket like we do. What does that look like? How many calories are you trying to put up? And how do you know by looking at a five-gallon bucket, how many calories are in there? We did the calculations for you. Five-gallon bucket of rice, boom, it tells you right there in the document how many you got. So you can label your buckets and look at them and count. Boom, boom, boom, boom, this is the calories we got. This is the calories we need for the year per person. We're in good shape or we're not in good shape. We need to add, right? If you go to PBNFamily.com right now, you can get this book for free. Nuclear War Prepared, Not Scared.
Starting point is 00:26:08 This is how you get the book. You see? See what I did there? For some reason, it's not at the beginning. This is how you get the book. You see what I did? I'll do it for you one more time, just so you can see how easy it is. No sign up.
Starting point is 00:26:22 You don't have to log in. You don't have to give me an email address. You go to the website. You click this button. Boom. Nuclear War Prepared, Not Scared. Written by Dave Jones, the NBC guy, the one. and only the man the myth the legend the the master of nuclear biological and chemical warfare

You're going to get your annual membership, access to all this stuff annually for the whole year,

So you got your access to massive amounts of members-only content, we got videos we got shtf chef we've got members only podcasts we've got all kinds of stuff prepper fit and health right all kinds of goodies man we're going to continue we're going to continue to scroll through because it's it's a lot you know and if i'm not for me then who will be right if i if i don't tell you about this who's going to tell you about it you think somebody on
Starting point is 00:27:55 nbc is going to show up and say you maybe should check out pb and family during national preparedness you could sign up for the month too you could sign up you know for five bucks for the month if you wanted to um but the big deal is the big deal you might as well take advantage of it code prep on prepper fit in health our fitness series bushcraft for preppers our bushcraft series we've got a cooking series a gear series a entrepreneurship series firewolf forge and chat has been kind enough to uh donate his time to pbn to get a an amazing series on blacksmithing called hammer talk look when I talk about this stuff I'm not talking about it because it's like made up you know what I mean it's taken years to put all
Starting point is 00:28:42 this stuff together and it's a beautiful thing anybody who wants to bug out you got to check out the bug out start start to finish series it's as much a how-to as it is a cautionary tale you know what I mean but if you can if you can build a bug out plan using these sort of six episodes, it's going to be a good one. I'm not saying it'll be perfect. I'm not saying it's going to be one hell of a bugout plan. You will have some success. Growing list of member discounts.
Starting point is 00:29:15 All of our self-reliance courses are free to members. And of course, the annual continuity meeting, the Dungeons and Dragons for Preppers. All available to you. Look, just go up here, start your membership, boom. And like I said, you got options. You got options. Cut $10 off that annual with the promo code prep on one word. P-R-E-P-O-N.
Starting point is 00:29:43 That is my diatribe on the website. You'd be crazy not to join if you haven't already. And thank you to all of you who have because you guys make a world of difference. For us, man, you really do. You make a world of difference for us. So I talked to you guys about, you know, products and so on and so forth, what we'd like to talk about this year, or this month, rather, all through the National Preparedness Month. Dude, I got a stack of stuff to show you. I can't do it all.
Starting point is 00:30:15 30 minutes in already. There's no way. A stack of stuff to show you, stack of stuff to talk about. But what we got to do is we got to get into the incredible prep. disc, which is our Inside the Cash for today. Okay. So let's get into that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:38 It's awesome. There's it. We'll get in. So this thing is bananas, man. Inside the Cash today, we're talking about the prep or disc. We're talking about an amazing, amazing tool for a lot of things. You know, when I first saw the prepper disk, I thought, man, this thing is sweet. Now that I know what it does and know how effective it is, to me, it's about a lot more even than prepping.
Starting point is 00:31:11 I mean, really, it's a device that's about a lot more even than prepping, and I'm going to talk about that today. I haven't talked to the creators about this yet, but I do, you know, they're likely to listen. what the prepper disk does for you man is it gives you an a version of the internet or captured information like the internet that can be accessed via your Wi-Fi on your phone not the Wi-Fi signal don't have to have a Wi-Fi signal the Wi-Fi functionality on your phone is what connects to the Prepper disk okay and it gives you access to I mean well let's just look at all that it gives you access to it's battery powered right it can be plugged in and it gives you access when there is no wifi to the complete english wikipedia over six million articles and images north america europe and oceana street maps ready dot gov in its entirety i fix it repair guides medical pack nuclear war survival skills by crescent curney great book stack exchange q and a on sustainable living. The wiki how, right? The wiki house, that's a big one. Project Gutenberg, over 60,000
Starting point is 00:32:28 e-books. That's huge, right? Over a 50 years span. I really need to do like a whole breakdown of that just to see what that is. Host your own content, so you can add whatever you want to it. My general inclination is for my prepper disc is to add movies, right? Like grab the top 10, top 20 movies, your family enjoys watching over and over again, throw them on your prepper disk. So now your kids can put a movie on or you access the prepper disk through the Wi-Fi on your TV.
Starting point is 00:33:00 And I'm assuming that way. I haven't tested that. That'll be our first test. And you know, you get that. The Khan Academy is an immense benefit of the prepper disk. Now the Khan Academy is exactly what I used in 2021, when Virginia was like your schools are closed for a year and a half, best of luck. And we did some joky kind of online schooling that was pretty
Starting point is 00:33:27 crap, right? And it really was sad because it felt like I was real blessed to be there as a writer, as a podcaster, to be able to sit there with my son and go, all right, let's go over what you just learned and let's make sure you get it. But there were tons of kids who weren't, you know, and sucks. But one of the things we did was Khan Academy. Khan Academy gave me the ability to say, all right, look, I got to, I got to lock in and edit this article. I don't have time to do this with you one-on-one. Knock out some multiplication in Khan Academy. You know, it goes by grade.
Starting point is 00:33:58 It's awesome. So having that on there is phenomenal. And even the light version, I don't even think we did the paid. We might have done the paid version. I don't remember. But even the light version, phenomenal. Interactive amateur radio and ham repeater database, right? Powered by Repeater Book.
Starting point is 00:34:14 livestock management survival How to Survive in the Woods Emergency Communications, Post Disaster Resource Library Tons of stuff, tons. But what this thing also does that I think is really cool and probably what we're going to do with it as our household
Starting point is 00:34:31 is it gives you a path offline. It gives you a little bit of a path offline. It gives you a bit of a day to sort of sit back and go you know what today let's just do the disc let's shut the Wi-Fi routers off let's shut the
Starting point is 00:34:51 mobile off on our phones and our devices at home but rather than committing exclusively to like okay let's go outside and do all the outside things and turn it into a big outside day maybe you do want like a chill day and maybe you want a chill day
Starting point is 00:35:11 in maybe it's like a rainy day in a chill day in and instead of having it infested with ticot and youtube you just tell everybody we're having a disc day and we're going to watch movies from from our archive we're going to look at pictures we're going to read books we're going to do these things that are available for us to do here on our prepper disc i really like that man i really like that idea i think uh i think customized i think that the prepper disc is like the beginning of customized digital entertainment and information. It's an industry in and of itself when you have a world that is so nervous about the online world, right? You can access videos, you can, all kinds of stuff.
Starting point is 00:36:00 Like, you could really create your own world that your family can connect to via Wi-Fi. And it's secure, it's safe, it's AI-free, right? I don't know. Think about it. So anyway, prepperdisc.com's the website. Use the promo code PBN10. PBN10 and you get,
Starting point is 00:36:20 what do you get? 10 bucks off? 10 bucks off your prepper disk. Code prep on. Nope, wrong one. Sorry. Prepper disk. 10 bucks off.
Starting point is 00:36:28 See, we're in the same headspace. 10 bucks off your prepper disk. Go to Prepperdisc.com. Check them out today. Phenomenal little device, man. Awesome. Awesome little device. The beginning of something.
Starting point is 00:36:41 much bigger, I think. I think having one of these could put you sort of ahead of the game in terms of how things are done. What else, folks? What else? Visit L2 Survive over at YouTube. One of our great members, that
Starting point is 00:36:57 nub. He's actually, well, I don't want to give away his personal situation, but L2 survive, great YouTube channel, tons of great content over there. Very safe. Very safe. Tools only in product review largely. is all he talks about so um that's kind of a good way to do it i think right it short videos
Starting point is 00:37:20 limited not a lot of this sort of you know free association and and jibber jabber like i do but great work over there at l2 survive youtube channel okay what else i think i've done it 37 minutes in what else do you want to talk about it is legitimately fall in richmond virginia today. This is very rare here, man. It's very rare that we get a fall season. We get like a week of autumn. And it comes like sometime in October.
Starting point is 00:37:54 Typically, we have Halloween's that are like brutal. You know what I mean? The Halloween's are like, you worry about the kid's costume. Like one year my son had a, I think it was last year actually. He had a phenomenal costume. He was a, like, you know, You know, one of those balloon animal dogs, the poodle? He had a completely inflatable balloon dog poodle.
Starting point is 00:38:18 Welcome to the Zoom out. He had a completely inflatable balloon dog poodle. And it was kind of unnerving because I think it was like 80 degrees. You know what I mean? Like in the evening. So I'm kind of excited to have like a cold Halloween possibly here in Virginia. To have autumn, autuminal, autuminal weather? Autumn? I don't know. But suffice it to say to September, September's here.
Starting point is 00:38:47 The spooky season is upon us. There are people who are already putting up Halloween decorations. We're not them, which is kind of hard to believe. I think we could probably stave Lady Liberty off a couple weeks at Max. Typically, the tradition is the family decorates. And when I return home from Prepper Camp, it's pretty Halloween. You know what I mean? Maybe not completely done, but pretty damned Halloween. I don't do a good job at this stuff. So on the way out the door, I want to promote this book. Because again, this is your world as a content creator, as a podcaster, particularly as a writer, right? You put together something that you're proud of and you publish it and then you forget about it. And you hope someone else doesn't forget about it, right? So this year we've been trying to do a lot better job at promoting the books because I've written a lot of books. And they're fun, man.
Starting point is 00:39:41 And this one's maybe one of the funnest, and it is certainly designed for this time of year, okay? This was published in 2022, for some reason I published it in December, because that's the kind of writer that I am, writer first, marketer never. And what darker trails is, man, is a glimpse into things, into the things that could be 20 different stories and poems that shed light on the most rapid and radical change that our species has ever gone. on through. So it's near futures that could be fundamentally. Like the majority of the stories are near futures that could be. And there's some really good, some really good stories in here. Let me look at the table of contents and I'll give you my faves.
Starting point is 00:40:31 Performance Review is the world has fallen apart, but you still got work. Mycelium is probably my favorite because it's such a cool idea. Let me see. I'll show you the artwork for mycelium because it's good. I also did all the illustration in here for like the charcoal illustration. I don't know. I just was in the charcoal illustration that year and the year before. So mycelium is all about sort of, well, it's about a scientist and a fungus and plastic.
Starting point is 00:41:09 and it goes terrible for humanity. Okay, terrible. But that's a great one. That was one of the ones that really triggered this book. I Am the Road is the road we are on right now. We're actually kind of stepping off the road. But I wrote I in the Road back in 2015. It's a great one.
Starting point is 00:41:30 Huge nuclear disaster and alpha particle plume. Heartbreakers, too. Man, there's some heartbreakers. in this book one of the great arguments between father and son in neural link neurilink is an amazing conversation between father and son and uh kind of like dad i want to i want to do it should i do it no son you shouldn't do it and you know it's from the son's perspective and uh you know how sons are at a certain age right i know everything dad knows nothing type of deal terrifying. It's one of my favorite horror stories I've ever written, to be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:42:15 And going to Hollywood is an amazing one, too. Going to Hollywood was an entry that I wrote to be in a, like a Richmond horror collection, collection of Halloween stories for my area where I live. It wasn't chosen, but it's really a good one. It's really fun. It's a little raw for what I think they were trying to do, but it's good. And when I say raw, violent, and, you know, you'll see. Really good story. But anyway, darker trails, folks, if you want to sip some disaster coffee, let the breeze blow in, you know, maybe sit in the hammock and read some spooky stories, some post-apocalyptic stories with charcoal. Give it a shot. You can get it at Amazon.com, Darker Trails at Amazon. Thank you guys so much. Anything else?
