Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Welcome to Channel 33 in The Ringer.
I'm Juliet Lippman, and today I have with me, Mr. Johnny Bananas.
Is that your legal name now?
It is.
I had to change it after I sued HBO and entourage.
That was part of the legal deal.
Johnny's from The Challenge, obviously.
You are on the new season, the Challenge Invasion, which starts on February 7th on MTV.
How many challenges have you been on now?
So what's a Baker's Dozen is, what, 13?
13.
So I've been on a Baker's Dozen Plus 1.
A baker. Well, you need a new name for that. A banana's dozen.
There we go. I've been on a banana's dozen, which is 14.
The last season was your 13th, and that was very controversial.
It ended with...
What was controversial about last season?
It ended with you depriving your partner, Sarah, of any of the prize money.
I love hearing everyone... I was just on KTLA 5, and I love hearing what word they used for what I did.
Stole the money. Deprived. Deprived is a good one.
That's kind of like...
It's like the balancing act you're doing where it's like,
I don't want to make it sound like he's a total dick, but he is.
So I think deprived is being dickish enough where it's like you kind of stole it,
but you didn't.
At what point did you decide you were going to do that?
Believe it or not, it was not an easy decision.
Okay.
Everyone thinks that like, I'm just like this evil person.
I had it from the,
and we didn't even know about this plot twist until the final began.
So it's not like I plotted against her the entire season,
which is what she did to me on on on uh on exes she literally from from the jump
had an idea of what she was going to do and she was going to cut my throat as soon as she got
the opportunity to you so she planned at the entire season and but played nice with me still like
we were still in an alliance together what happened with us was completely different where
I didn't know about this plot twist I was fine running a final with her uh-huh and splitting
the money which is going to happen but then you know production wanted to obviously throw a twist
in and
they did.
Success.
And I think I knew,
I think we both knew.
And this is what I always go back to.
Right when T's your name,
made the announcement,
if you look,
if you go back and you look at the footage,
you know,
that shouldn't be too hard to dig up.
Right when T.J. says,
you know, we're throwing this twist
and you have the option
that either keep the money or split it.
You look at the reaction
of all three teams.
Vince Jenna,
Devin and Cheyenne, me and Sarah.
Devin and Cheyenne, Vince and Jenna,
The reaction is the same, where they're both kind of like laughing, but you can tell.
It's like, not even in the back of their mind.
That's something they'd ever do.
Me and Sarah, our reaction's identical, where we don't look at each other,
and we both kind of immediately just stare at the ground and kind of,
you can see the wheels turning in our head like, I'm going to do it if I get the chance.
I don't think she would have done it.
You think she would have?
Of course, you don't.
What makes you think she wouldn't have?
Here's why I'd say she would.
When we were friends, when we were in an alliance, when we'd known each other for eight years,
and I consider us very close, she screwed me over for less money.
So why do you think now that the stakes are even higher?
There's more money.
Our friendship is fractured that now she's not going to make the same move.
She didn't consider me.
I mean, yeah, we made up on television.
Do you really think what you're watching on the challenge on MTV?
You really think that's real?
Like, I mean, do you think these relationships?
She seemed more genuine than you, I guess.
I guess.
I'm just, how many relationships that have started on a challenge have actually worked outside?
I think only one.
Brad and Tori, right?
Okay, yeah, one out of how many?
And they're set together, aren't they?
Yeah, because they don't work.
It's like what you see on television, you're in an alternate reality.
And what might work there, Nani and Kahada?
Like, oh, my God, they're from two completely different planets.
And it worked fine on the challenge.
As soon as they got off, it was like, we can't stand each other.
That was definitely a weird one.
The other obvious, the original challenge also was Rachel and Sean.
Yeah.
And they're still together and he's in Congress.
Okay.
They have like a thousand children in Wisconsin.
Big up, Sean Duffy.
Do you like him?
I love what you do, my friend.
Yeah, he did something for D.M.
After Diam passed away, he signed a bill.
I couldn't make it, unfortunately.
Or he floored a bill that was going to help out with, you know,
cancer and cancer research and that sort of stuff.
So ever since then, I've been a huge, I mean, obviously he's part of the family too.
Sure.
But, yeah, I see him all the time on TV.
and I love the fact that it's like people have gone from the challenge in the real world
and actually gone on to do bigger and better things with it.
It's true.
I'm still waiting for my opportunity.
Okay, so why did you decide to go back on the show?
It seemed like a pretty big way to leave the franchise, a move that no one else has ever pulled, winning.
Yeah.
I mean, you stake your reputation on being a champion, so why go back?
I mean, why not?
I mean, the way that I look at the challenge is it's like winning a lot.
lottery, you know what I mean? And the things that I get to do and the places I get to travel and
the people I get to meet and the experience I get to have, it's like, I mean, I'm already
going on over a decade of doing these. And I guess I consider myself like institutionalized at this
point, you know, where it's like I've done so many challenges. It's like it's become such a
huge part of my life, you know, and it's, it would be very difficult to walk away from.
And if I didn't think that I still had something to tank and if I didn't think that I still had
something to bring to the show, I wouldn't be there.
But I guess it's the same thing that faces, you know,
it's the same dilemma that faces a lot of, like,
professional athletes. It's like, when you're going to
hang it up and walk away? When do you walk away?
And then some people came back this season. Like, Dorell hasn't
been on it ages, and he was back.
Were you surprised to see him?
I was, only because, you know,
the one thing that, you know, I've kind of
never really, I feel like I'm like Peter Panning away, where it's
like I've kind of, like, lived in Never, Neverland for last years.
Who's your tinkerbell?
You are.
Me?
Yes.
Wow.
Tinkerbell right here sitting across for me.
That's so nice.
But it's like, no, it's like, Dorel, you know, he got married, he has kids.
It's like, I didn't know that.
I don't know if I would be able to, once I started, you know, once I really got serious about life, how I'd be able to transfer back.
So it's like I've kind of put a lot of things on hold to continue doing the challenge, I guess.
Sure.
And it's funny because in a way it does, I feel like keep me young.
And it's like I'm competing with guys, you know, 10.
years younger than me.
And it, you know, it forces me also to, like, train and stay in shape and keep me competitive.
And, um...
I don't have a...
I have a hard time believing you need something to keep you competitive.
You seem pretty competitive, my friend.
Okay, I am, but what would I be competing at?
Like, oh, yeah.
I don't know.
Fantasy sports and, you know, ultimate frisbee.
Like, like, I want to, like, I enjoy training and I enjoy working out and I enjoy staying in shape.
And the challenge gives me a reason to continue doing that.
Okay.
Because I know I'm going to have, you know, I'm not just doing it just to do it.
Like I'm not doing it because I'm going to need to go in and mash some heads.
How do you feel about the, are you the one kids?
I mean, how the rest of America feels about the already the one kids.
There aren't that many on this season.
Yeah, because they don't belong there.
I mean, honestly, the way that I see it is, to no fault of their own, obviously,
I think that what the challenge is doing is they're trying.
They need a, they need like a farm league.
Yeah.
To pull from because they just don't have that really with the real world anymore
and they're not doing fresh meats and that sort of thing.
So,
already the one now has become the Farm League.
Right.
But they're just cut from different cloth.
At least with the real,
the difference is the real world and road rules,
when these bring them up,
there was almost like a vetting process that the cast members had to go through.
You know,
they had to be like multidimensional.
And you can still see,
you can see that still.
If you look at the,
it's very easy to tell the difference between who's been on Ari the one who's been on real world,
because it's almost like the real world cast member.
have like layers to them.
Right.
Are you the one kids?
It's like they're there to drink and hook up.
You know what I mean?
They don't really bring a whole lot more than the table.
Yeah, because there's not,
there's nothing else to them than that.
Like if you look at a lot of the,
I mean, take me for example,
CT, Nani, Camilla, you know,
a lot of the mainstays that are still on,
Zach, it's like there's,
there's more levels to them than just that.
You know what I mean?
They also bring like a personality and character and issues.
and other things to the table than,
hey, I'm good looking, let's drink and fuck, you know what I mean?
Sure.
And I think that's, because are the ones a dating show?
The only thing, the only reason they were cast is,
you're good looking and, you know, and you're slutty,
so you're on the show, you know?
The real world, obviously they factor that in,
but that's not, like, the only criteria.
You need a little backstory,
particularly for the new way they're doing these shows
where there's, like, something that, like, comes back to haunt you or whatever.
And it's, I mean, and, you know,
I look, I'm kind of protective over.
It's almost like become like this, you know, this family thing.
It's like you are protective.
Let's talk about some people that you would want on the show because you just mentioned that
you think of, you know, you think of other athletes who are trying to figure out when to hang it up.
Like when you watch sports, who do you think would be a great challenge contestant?
Oh, man.
Like, is there a certain sport that you think is better for the challenge?
That's a good question.
Like people always say LeBron would be a great line.
Oh, dude, he'd be great at linebacker. I think he'd be a better tight end or wide receiver, to be honest.
Because he's got so much, I mean, he's got so much, you know, athleticism when it comes to.
Yeah, he's an amazing athlete. He's great, you know, he's got great ball handling skills.
Does that translate to the challenge?
It does. I think, I think out of all the sports, I think basketball would probably be one of the ones that would most easily transfer over, only because it requires a tremendous amount of,
of endurance.
And it's, you know, there's a lot of, you know, agility and balance and that sort of thing
involved as well.
My cousin, Vince, the Vinny Pig.
Love you, Couso.
Why isn't he back this season?
That's a good question.
I mean, he makes great television.
Does he?
I think he needs to be provoked to make good television.
He does.
You create on your own.
Yeah, but when he is, I mean, he makes, I think he makes great TV.
The thing is, he grew up playing football.
Uh-huh.
And I think he didn't really get that fair of a shake coming on the chat.
because, you know, he was used to training one way.
You know, like, football players train.
It's very, like, linear and it's like, man in the sand type stuff.
And then he gets there, and it's like, there was none of that.
It's like, oh, balance on this beam, balance on his beam,
swing from this rope.
Like, so he just, I don't think, as what he was conditioned,
the way he was conditioned to train and to work out and to, you know,
was just, it didn't translate necessarily that well into the challenge,
but, and the kids are phenomenal athletes, so given that.
Who do you consider the best chance?
challenge competitor of all time.
That's a difficult question answer because I think there are different people who are great
at different things, right?
You take Wes, for example, okay?
He's not in my top five.
This is incredibly nice of you.
Listen, but I'm just going to say, like, this is why, okay, Wes is a great manipulator
when it comes to people like, are you the one kids or newbies who are a complete idiot.
Right?
He'll get there and he'll somehow find the way.
to convince these kids.
I mean, it's like, Wes, you're a bone rack.
Like, you're literally 105 pounds soaking wet.
Not to mention, you are probably one of those ugliest human beings that I've ever seen.
But somehow...
Do you really think that?
Do you really think he's that ugly?
Wes, I love you.
Somehow, though, he convinces all these kids to, like, follow him along.
That takes skill.
But then it comes to the physical part.
He doesn't...
He's lost it.
He used to have it, though.
He was good at talking.
Then you take a guy like CT, right?
CT is an absolute force, right?
He's a freak of nature.
We know because he carried you like a backpack and frog.
It was a bonack pack.
Is that the official turn?
The Johnny Jansport, yeah.
I made that up.
I coined that, the banack pack.
But then you tell a guy like CT, the guy's done 12 challenges.
He's 1-1.
It's like there is no way with the physical abilities that God is blessed on this guy.
Sure.
He should not have won every single challenge he's done.
His mind, but then his head gets in the.
C.T. beats himself when he loses this.
Exactly. And that's what I'm saying. So it's like, you know, then you take me and I feel like I'm not the biggest guy. I'm not the strongest guy. I'm not the smartest guy. But it's like I have developed the ability to like adapt. And I think the most important quality to have on a challenge, this is a spoiler, by the way.
The most for me, the most important of the ability to have on a challenge is to be able to be like a chameleon and to and to adapt to. Because now, especially with how the challenge is, it's like,
They're all about like curveballs and twists.
Right.
It used to be, you go to a challenge, here's the rules of the game, you know what it's going
to be, eliminations are this day, challenges to this day, this is how many weeks we're going
to be here.
And so you knew you can literally set a calendar by how long the challenge is going to be
what was going to happen.
Now it's like from week to week, the game changes and the format changes.
And the people who get screwed up in the game are ones that can't, that get their mindset
on one format and then they can't change with the, you know, ever-changing landscape.
So I think that's what's kind of given me the ability to do as well as I have.
Would you want to face Landon in his heyday?
How would you do against him?
Did you, were you in the season when he won?
I've never been on a challenge with Landon.
I love to, I love Landon.
He is a great guy.
He is.
The thing about Landon, though, again, he has that, he's a freak of nature, right?
But when it comes to the strategy and it comes to playing the game, that was never his thing.
Like, I'll never forget.
Evan told me the story about, I think it was the dual two.
it was the dual two.
Amazing you can differentiate.
I certainly can't.
I wasn't even on that one.
So the guys who were,
so it came to the end
and it was Brad,
Dorell,
Landon, and Evan, okay?
What a four-sum.
Yeah.
So how are you going to determine
now when you vote who's going to go in?
Right.
So they're all sitting on the table
trying to decide.
Landon's like,
you know what,
let's draw names out of a hat.
I'll get a piece of paper.
The second he walked out of the room,
all the guys are like,
that fucker's going in.
And it's like,
did he come out of that?
Yeah, he beat Brad.
Yeah.
No, no, no, no, actually, no, he got decued because he, like, suplexed Brad or something.
So they actually, they actually decued him.
I recall that.
But anyone who's smart enough to know, it's like, you're sitting out of the table with, like, a bunch of killers, you don't get up and leave the room.
You do you let somebody else, that was just a rookie mistake.
You know what I mean?
And so that was, that was Landon's, I think, his fatal flaw was he was just, he was a nice guy.
and he didn't have that, you know, that kill, put it this way.
If he would have found himself on the top of a mountain last season with Sarah
and T.J. would be like, you're just put the one in your keep it.
He would have split it.
For sure.
For sure.
And that's the thing is that's what, you know, separates.
I mean, where there's no.
Probably why he's not getting in the callback.
There's no honor amongst these, so.
Okay.
So when you showed up, because this one, this season, it's like all these people have never won
and they're like on an island, like, like, sleeping underneath mosquito nets on the ground,
literally on the ground.
sucks. If you showed up for a challenge, please. The island was ten times worse. The island was like that, right?
Ten times. Way worse. They had food. Okay. You always had to get your own food on the island?
Every three days, they'd fly by in an airplane and dump a crate into the water. Oh, right. I can't
think that was really it. Retrieved the crate. And we, you know what we had for food? We had a fish
about this big that we had the portion out for 28 people for three days, frozen. Okay?
Totally like Survivor. Dude, we literally were like climbing trees, China. We were eating like bark.
I mean, like, whatever.
It's like, hey, this is, you know, moving.
Maybe that's edible.
Like, it was, I lost 28 pounds in a month.
That's crazy.
That's like what happens on Survivor.
Yeah.
Wow, that sucks.
Were you pissed when you?
Oh, dude, it was so.
I mean, we won, so that made it better.
Right.
But what made it worse is, and a lot of people knows, but it's like where we were on the beach
from about here to, you know, that wall, maybe 50 yards away.
There was this faux wall made out of palm branches on the other side is where production
hung out.
They had a, they had a chef who would grill three times a day.
So we'd be sitting there literally on the beach, like with flies buzzing around us, like, withering away.
And then there's like steak and hamburger and hot dog smoke wafting over this wall.
That is seriously cruel.
I would have been really pissed.
And I honestly think that was planned by production to make us even crazier.
Probably.
A smart move by them.
So this season.
Psychological warfare.
The people who've not won.
What do they call the group who hasn't won?
The losers.
The losers?
Okay.
So the losers are sleeping on the ground underneath.
mosquito nets. It's actually very, I thought, very smart by production because already on episode
one, like, there's people hugging up and you just, like, there's nowhere to hide.
Like, there's no bathroom to go in. It was, that's really smart. I know that you think about
these things, too. I do. Absolutely. It's like, that's, it makes it easier for production. You keep
everyone right in front of you. And yeah, I mean, that's why we have boundaries at the house.
They literally set boundary areas where it's like, even though it's still part of our yard,
it's like, do not cross over this rope. You're getting fine. Because that's good people,
because there's no cameras. There's no night vision on that.
area and it's like people could very easily sneak off into a bush and, you know.
Yeah, just do it.
Sure.
So when you got there, who was the poo of the competitors where you're like, oh, I'm like
a little nervous about this one?
None of them?
Not even Corey, not even Tony.
Oh, come on.
I really want Tony to win something.
I do too.
I love Tony.
But Tony's another one where it's like he's his own worst enemy.
Yeah, he beats himself.
You know, but he's such a great dude.
I love Tony to death, man.
I just wish he'd stop having children.
Maybe he can, you know.
So he can hang out with him more?
Cramping her.
style? A little bit. I mean, it's like, I'll be like, hey, Tony, let's go out.
And he's like, oh, man, I got to, you know, get a babysitter. I don't know if we can.
Well, good for him. He's being responsible dad.
Yeah. I mean, I would have, when Tony for those kids, I thought he'd be like the baby at a bar guy.
Sure.
It would be like, I'm going to see pictures now of Tony on Instagram where it's like he's got
his beer here and his kid over here. But he's actually taking it pretty seriously.
But no, in all honesty, when we rolled up, it was like, I mean, God, I mean, did they put out a
a Craigslist ad for challenge competitors?
They did go pretty deep in the bench. I was surprised to see Marie from St.
In fact, I didn't recognize her.
She looks like a completely new person.
Do you know everyone?
When you got there, who did you have to introduce yourself to?
A lot of the only one kids.
I mean, I knew Nelson from last season.
He seems nice.
Nelson's a funny guy.
I like him.
Nelson's one of those guys where it's like, you know, the lights are on, but no one's home, you know.
But couldn't be a nice guy.
Hunter, I met him for the first time again, you know.
So you just don't.
One taco short of a combination plate.
but uh
I've never heard that
that before
is that a Johnny Pananas
you got trademark that line
it's a Southern California one
okay
but uh
no I mean I
what actually I can't give away
what's going on the show
but it's like when I
yeah when I showed up
I looked at this at this squad
and I was
I was thrilled
I was like this is who we're competing
against you're not
you're not concerned
and guy went up
to compete against each other
what about Zach
um
I mean I know you weren't competing
against Sam
but like how high
how in what regard do you hold him
I mean
Zach's
Zach's got, again, he's got all the physical attributes of being a monster.
But he just, again, he lacks that killer instinct.
Without Frank Sweeney, he's not as powerful, but not as potent.
I love Frank Sweeney.
Yeah, I think Frank does bring something different out in him.
Frank moved down, though.
He graduated.
He did.
I think, you know, the thing about Frank is, I don't think mentally the challenges were good for him.
There are certain people who don't know how to separate Nani's another one.
don't know how to separate their emotions from the challenge and from real life.
And it's tough. It's not easy to do. I mean, I've done 14 things. And I still get caught up,
you know, week five, week six, where I'm like sitting there like, oh, my God. You know,
you really start doubting yourself and you start, like, believing that what's going on in the house is real.
And all this stuff that you're experiencing is like real life. And it's not. Right.
It's just a... And with Frank, I think he is a brilliant guy. He's super chill to hang out.
out with, but he's, he's emotional.
He's very emotional and emotionally unstable, I'd say.
Nani's kind of the same way where it's like, she gets him.
It's like, it's like a roller coaster.
You're so harsh on these people.
But it's true, though.
Even when we're on the same team, it's like, it's like one day they're up, one day they're
down.
Me and him were on a team together.
You were?
Yeah, yeah, and rivals too.
Oh, got it.
And one day, everything would be fine, and the next day, it's like the sky is falling.
Right.
It was like, it was almost like he was wired like, you know, I don't want to say a girl,
but sort of like a girl.
But you're going to say it anyway.
He's on that emotional roller coaster.
And if you look, the girls who've always done the best of the challenge are the ones,
not necessarily the most physical, not necessarily the strongest most physical,
but are the ones that are able to keep a cool head.
That's not true, Karamaria.
Come on.
Carmaria doesn't keep a cool head.
She's just as emotional as everyone else.
She's won one time.
She's done eight challenges.
I'm just saying it's not the best record.
She's dealing with Abram.
Are they still together?
No, they're not.
But like you look at Laurel.
I love Laura.
You look at Sarah.
There's a reason that Sarah does good in challenges,
and that's because she plays the game without her emotions,
which is why she was able to pull the move that she did on me.
Most girls would not have been able to do with that.
Jordan couldn't even have done that.
But Sarah did because she took her emotion out of it.
Laurel's another one.
Laurel sometimes I think she's like a cyborg.
Like, I don't even think she's a human being sometimes because...
She's definitely in the conversation for greatest challenge competitors ever.
She's a serenaed Williams.
the challenge. She's never lost. She goes to a challenge
she's going to win. Yeah. I admire
her. Do you ever watch her YouTube videos? Yeah.
They're really funny. I love Laurel to death.
You know what I love about Laurel? What I love about
Laurel is, and she gets a lot of shit for this,
she says what's on her mind.
There's no filter with her.
And she just, and that's
guys, it's normal as they with guys, but for girls, you don't
usually see that. And Laurel
is, she is who she is,
and she doesn't apologize for it.
And she's great.
She's a sweetheart.
All right, a couple of rapid fire questions.
Just to answer, okay?
What was the hardest physical challenge you've ever done?
The final for rivals won in Patagonia.
Oh, cool.
I forgot about that one.
Dude, I mean, I'm still, I'll tell you what, if we did that final again today,
I wouldn't have done it.
I'd jump off the mountain and be like I'm done.
It was that hard.
It was that hard.
Like, I mean, it took me two weeks for my body to recover from that,
my knees, my feet.
I mean, it was beyond brutal.
Wow.
Okay.
Cool.
The coolest place you've been to with the challenge, obviously.
Oh, see, there's a few.
Iceland, I think.
Because we've done a lot of, even though, I mean, Patagonia is amazing.
Bada Loche, we went to, and then we went to Poucone, which is in Chile.
And even though those places are amazing, it's, you know, it's the same environment, the same vibe.
Whereas Iceland was completely different than any place we've ever gone to.
And we've never done a final like that in 30 below, you know, drinking, frigates.
goat's blood on the side of a mountain.
There's like a snowmobile skiing search and rescue team that's like, you know,
taking us from place to place.
We were in a friggin, it was a Russian ICBM missile launcher that they converted
into like this gargantuan snow machine.
The wheels literally were from here to the ceiling.
Like, I mean, the wheels were 10 feet high on this thing.
And we're just like mobbing through like these snow banks.
It was, it was pretty unreal.
That was X's, right?
That was X's one.
Right.
That was a good season.
That was a good season.
Most drunk night you've ever had.
There's been a few, but I'd have to say,
cutthroat in Prague when I punched the guy down a flight of stairs
after drinking absinth all night.
And I got punched.
In the same night, I got punched and had to get stitches in my eye,
and I knocked the guy on a flight of stairs and almost killed him.
Same to say that wasn't your best season.
No, it was not.
It started off well.
Sure.
And then they called in a, they dialed up their assassin to come and take me out.
Johnny Jansport was born.
Johnny Jansport was born.
It's literally like a drone strike.
It's like they ordered it.
They were like, you know, the one thing that I will say that's complete horseshit about that whole situation was,
it's the only time they brought someone in who wasn't on the show to the show just as a hired assassin.
Sure.
Which is basically like what it was.
Yeah.
It's true.
It's like, it's like they've got me on the show.
show, and I've been here for five, six weeks, and you've got to realize after being in the
challenge house for that long, you're, you change physically and mentally, you know, where
you're just not the person you showed up.
Can't work out in the same way.
Meanwhile, they've had CT locked up in a cage for the last six weeks, feeding them like raw
meat, you know what I mean?
And they just like, let this guy out, dude.
He shows up, and I'm just like, this is really going to happen right now.
Like, I'm looking at the guy.
He's, like, bigger than he's ever been.
And I had to go against him first, which is another thing.
I mean, had Tyler win, had the coin flip turned out differently,
and had Tyler been the first one to face him,
the scenario would have been different.
I get this guy with, you know, fresh legs and just, you know,
and me and him kind of hated each other at that point, too,
so I think that was extra motivation.
Sure.
To drop me onto a trash can.
Sure.
But, you know, as shitty of an experience that was in the moment,
looking back on it,
I mean, that was really what lit my fire to,
I mean, I rattled off, you know, five wins, four wins after that.
Right.
So it's like a big part of your narrative at this point, the giant banana story.
Yeah.
I mean, my first loss on the duel on my first challenge and that I think were the two
most defining moments up until this Sarah thing that I really do think pushed me to just to do better.
I think it's time for you to bow out soon.
You just got, you've got these great moments.
You've got the legacy already.
It's time to, or maybe you got to like, I don't know.
Maybe you have to be the commissioner of this.
challenge. Can you, can you graduate to being like the commissioner?
Can you co-host with TJ?
At this point, listen, at this point, there's a bunch of different routes we can take.
I'm actually working at the moment, I'm actually working on my own separate project,
a spinoff, if you will.
Actually, I've heard, I've heard whispers about this with a certain original member of
road rules.
Possibly.
Yes, I've heard, I've heard whispers about this.
Okay.
And other, I mean, that's the thing.
That's the beauty of it is there's not going to be one mainstay, but there's going to,
but, you know, we'll be able to bring, you know, different cast members in, or people
would never even have been on the challenge, different celebrities in to, you know, co-hosts with me
or co-compete with me.
I have a pitch for you.
I think that you need to do a head-to-head face-off against T.J.
to see who's the future host of the challenge.
Do you know what physical?
It could be all kinds of.
Okay.
There would have to be, because T.J.'s taking a few spills here and there.
Sure.
So I think it would have to be more, you know, something.
What about all the events that are in the?
end of old school, the debate, the, the, that'd be great.
The dance.
Yeah, the rings.
Yeah.
I think you should just recreate that.
Hey, if he's up for it, I'm more than up for it.
I'm calling you out, T.J.
Wow, on that note, I think that's the full Johnny Bananas experience.
Thanks for coming by today.
That's not the full Johnny Bananas experience.
If you had the full Johnny Banan's experience, you'd be over in the corner smoking a
cigarette right now.
Wow.
All right.
Or maybe after.
Thanks for coming by, Johnny.
We will watch you on this newest season of the challenge, and hopefully you'll be back soon.
Thank you.
