Hi, everyone. We will get to Jam Session in just a second, but first, I would like to tell you about two very exciting things happening at The Ringer. One of them involves my Jam Session co-host Juliet Littman, who, as you may know, also hosts Bachelor Party, a podcast about The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and the universe. I'm Juliet Littman. I'm Amanda Dobbins.

It's summer. Everyone is just really enjoying summer in the celebrity space, wouldn't you say? They really are. And we're going to do it vicariously. Yes, we are. We are indeed. I just returned from Las Vegas where I was not having like a great time, but I feel like I got a glimpse of how the celebs do it because I saw like a lot of NBA players walking around and stuff. You got a sense of the glitz and the glamour.

Yeah, I was not experiencing it, but I could see it. Right. I could see other people enjoying it. So I'm really tapped into this headspace right now. Also personally planning some vacations. I want to make clear that this kind of summer podcast is more about like the beach and not about. Vegas. Oh, definitely. Yeah. In case, I don't know. Don't recommend going to Vegas in July. Exactly. We do endorse the beach here at a damn session and we don't endorse Vegas in July.

We do. You know who endorses the beach big time? Yes. Miss Lindsay Lohan. Boy, does she? Quite literally, as in her name is on a beach house. Yes. It's multiple. Although she's only involved in some. So the Lindsay Lohan Beach House and Miko Nose just recently opened. Yes. And as a result, has received a fair amount of press. Yes. Including a very good piece in the New York Times a couple weeks ago by Gabrielle Bluestone. Yes. This came out like in late June, but I think we got sidetracked by BDE, and so we're getting to it now. It's getting its full due.

And so essentially, Lindsay Loehan is now, she's not the owner. I guess she's the sponsor or that she's the face. And name. She has licensed her name to this beach club. It's sort of like Michael Jordan's Steakhouse, like he's not involved in every state. house. She is not involved in all of her beach homes, including there's one in Athens. There's one in Mekonos. Well, so I think the Athens one was a club. Right. Well, she's now divested for us. I think perhaps bought out. That's what it sounds. It sounds like she licensed her name and then she said that

she, the investment was bought back. And now she's doing this beach club in Mekonos and she's licensed her name. But she in this article says that she is, quote, more involved in the process and in creating this experience that is the Lohan Beach House in Mekanos. Have you ever been to Mekonos? I have not, have you? I have not either. I went to Greece as a part of my honeymoon and specifically didn't go to Mekonos because it has a reputation as the party island.

Yeah, I'm not interested. Right, and the place where Lindsay Lohan would license her name to a beach club. Also, the description of this beach club, may I just, may I read it? Please, please do. Sure. Great lead here by Gabrielle Bluestone. The other day at the newly opened, Low Hand Beach House. Families played on the beach alongside topless women, alongside the religiously covered up,

while a shirtless and ripped Romanian man with several teardrops tattooed on his face, and the image of a person doing cocaine inked on his abs, danced near the bar. None of these people who had paid dozens of euros. Dozens of euros. So what? Like 36, probably 40, maybe like a 40 cover charge? Sure, let's call it like $60. Okay.

To recline on a thick, low-hand branded towel. harassed or even seemed to notice Lindsay Lohan herself in a red swimsuit and her trusty red baseball hat with the word Russia who had just taken a seat directly, Oceanside. What a scene. What a scene indeed. And I found out about this because I thought I saw Jill Zarin in the airport. Yes. So then I went to her Instagram to get a fix on her. Yes. And I was like, oh, she can't be here at Burbank because she's a fucking Lindsay Lohan's beach club in Mekanos. So that's like the type of person who's going. The photograph was of her. opposing at like the low-hand beach house step and repeat if I understand it. So just to be clear, this is a place that has a step and repeat, which I don't know, no judgment, I guess. That seems to be the whole point of this experience. I don't look for a step and repeat at my beach. No. I don't really want to be photographed at the beach, from being honest. Nor do I. Like maybe like a toes pick, you know? No, don't be that person. I mean, don't be the person with the feet photograph. No. I would entertain it, I suppose. I, Instagram.

I recently did an Instagram of just the waves of the beach. Yeah, that was a good one. But I am not going to be a part of it. I'm just taking in the scenery. That's why I'm there. Anyway, it seems to be quite popular. This article says, according to a taxi driver, that it has become a big success. I also just want to note, the beach club includes a restaurant, a bar, and a football fields worth of sand, which is quite frankly a tremendous amount of sand for a beach in Europe.

Yes. Those beaches are tax. Have you seen those things? Usually tiny and rocky. Yeah, you get like one square foot and you're next to like eight guys in a speedo. I mean, I'm not judging it. It's the best place on earth. But football fields worth of sand, that's a lot.

They spend a lot of money at the low-hidden beach house. Yeah. Maybe Mekanos is beachier and that's why it like has more sand stretches and that's why it became the party place. Maybe. I think that is part of it. Like you can hang by the beach a little bit more. Right. You can't do that.

Like more picturesque beaches that you and I would be interested in. where there's like privacy and seclusion and like swimming. Yes, exactly. So let's talk a little bit about Lohan in the context of this article. Let's do it indeed. It's a rich text. It really is. She's got some amazing quotes in here.

Right. So first of all, apparently her assistant confused the interview time with another interview for the Sunday times, which is a British newspaper. So Lindsay Lohan is out on the press tour for this beach house. Which is what you got to do, I guess. That's what they're paying for. Trying to make her business work. Yeah, sure. Okay.

So she finally agrees to speak, even though she has a cold. So now we're in the Lindsay Lohan has a cold portion of this, except now she's being quoted. It's really, like I'm saying, there are just so many twist in terms in this speech. In this piece. Okay. So apparently another club is scheduled to open in Rhodes, which is another island in Greece that I only know about from like fifth grade. Sure. Like Greek history.

When we all had to, you know, do little skits. Actually, you know what we had to do? We had to build our own chariots for a chariot race. You did? Yeah. And we were in fifth grade, so they were terrible. And we built mine out of a lawn chair. And then obviously it broke.

And then we, like, carried it cool riding style. Oh, my goodness. Just like that was me. But we weren't roads. We were Olympias. In 8th grade, we did a big unit on minotars and Crete. Okay. And that's like the extent.

And like a little bit happens as well. Right. Okay. So anyway, they're getting a low-hand beach club because, you know, congrats to them. forward. Wait, I also just want to notice the other details. The other projects Lindsay Lohan is working on. She also has a lawyer.com sponsorship. She's an incredible celebrity. Sponsorship. Okay. Plants for a Vader Pump Rules-style reality show for MTV centered around the club. I can't wait to watch that.

Great, great idea for a show. It definitely is. Oh, this is great writing. And a general outlook that at this point, if Ms. Lohan can believe it, she can achieve it. And then a great quote, Would you like to read this quote? Yes, I will. She says, there's a business side to my life now, but I'm not in America, so no one knows about it, which is nice for me, because I get to actually focus on the result of things. Great stuff. Incredible. She also says some things.

She goes on to add that she's really happy to be where she is because she says, it's the safest place. It's less demanding. America's always like, go, go, go, go, go. I don't have to turn on the news and see about the Kardashians. I don't have to see anything anymore. I choose what I want to see and how to. I want to live. So Lindsay Lohan, like the rest of us, has limited the news that she's taking in, and she purports

to be blissfully unaware of what's happening back here in America, which I actually believe. And she's also sick of the Kardashians and manages to throw them under the bus. Did Lizzie Lohan steal these quotes from me? I'm not sure. Did she also mute Kardashian and Jenner on Twitter? unclear. There's some pictures of her in this, and she looks unrecognizable. That's true.

Though it should be noted they are not pictures taken by the New York Times photographer because in the end, in a twist, Lindsay Lohan declines to, she just doesn't show up for the photo shoot and then says that she needs to be paid in order to do the photos, which is not how the New York Times operates or any sort of editorial operation. They are not typically paying their subjects for photographs unless you're TMZ, I guess. She probably wouldn't have agreed to this had she known that she wouldn't make money. She probably didn't know what it was. She probably thought she was going to get paid for some aspect of this. Yes, I would agree with that. Because that seems to be the space that she's in right now. As she said, there's a business side to her life now. You know. On that note, she sounds pretty cut throat because page six had an article from July 4th. I don't know if you saw this. No. Where apparently she got another beach club shut down by like narking on them to the to the Greek IRS saying they hadn't like paid their taxes. So they got shut down and gave her like a leg up for. few days. That's a business side to her life.

Yes. That's the business Lindsay Lohan, getting things done. I'll read this from page six. We're told that Lindsay Lohan was heard boasting that she tipped off the Greek tax authorities about rival club Namos and that Namos had been shut down for a month. Indeed, Namos was briefly shut down by the Greek version of the IRS on Friday, but it's not clear whether Lohan dropped a dime or if she was just claiming credit. That, according to this piece, was like the hotspot. Yeah. And meganos, until Lindsay Lohan showed up. and has taken over the scene. Yes.

So she's like, get it after her rivals. It's amazing. Can I read another quote that has nothing to do with anything? Of course. This is a great Lindsay Lohan quote from this article.

I think success is the best revenge and silence as a presence. When I chose to change my future, my life, I was like, where's the one place I can find silence? And the answer to that was a fucking party beach club

in Mekanos. That's where Lindsay Lohan found her silence everyone. It's unbelievable. It's just very clear to me that she needed to get away from her family and also the American paparazzi. She has a great, great quote about Carl Lagerfeld as well. Yes. This is about how she first ended up in Dubai back in 2008 when she was hosting the opening of an Atlantis resort. She said, that click, and she realized there was no cameras around her, that click, Carl Lagerfeld said, it's like they're shooting guns at me when I first met him at Fendi. And I felt it. You feel like you're always watching out. You're paranoid. It creates

paranoia in your head that's not necessary. Amazing. It's really, really great stuff. Lindsay Lohan in 2004 had so much potential and promise as like a fun actress. Like, you know, Mean Girls, Lindsay Lohan was a big deal. And like, and Savvy and a good actress. And it seems like she claims to have found happiness. I just never would have guessed that it was being like a club promoter in Greece and Dubai. I would not have either. And there are parts of it that... It seems like she's doing well right now, and that's good, and I'm happy for her.

We wish her well. Parts of this bump me out a little. You know, I think that she was clearly in a very bad relationship before this, which this article touches upon. And now it's over, but again, I don't think that she has been necessarily surrounded by people who are supporting her, her best instincts. So that's a little sad. It's true.

It's a little bit of a bummer that... She's just kind of a party promoter now? Yes, yes. Though I guess everyone's a party promoter now. Like literally Oprah is a party promoter in a way. She's just on a cruise ship. There's a lot different between Lindsay Lohan, though, and like the stars of Vanderpump rules. Right.

Except that she is like a standalone celebrity. That's true. Though in a lot of ways, it's kind of what all celebrity is becoming now. In their internet era, the B-list and the C-list is so much greater than it used to be because there's so many more avenues to maintain fame. Like, all you need to do is take a picture, like a sponsored photo or whatever. That's true. And it's just, it's just a real, it's a real game changer.

The number of people we would consider covering on this podcast is much greater than it would have been. That's true. 10 years ago, 15 years ago. That's true. One thing I will say, it seems like Lindsay Lohan is finally making money, which is good. She is like actually getting paid for her for doing something as opposed to relying on other people. That's nice. I think that becomes increasingly hard to do, especially as famed Wendles.

I think she's probably, this seems like it's a success. Yeah. Can I read one more amazing quote? Please do. Ms. Lohan said she meditates at least twice a day, which is great. A habit she picked up from Oprah Winfrey, who turned her onto the book, The Untethered Soul. I'm going to keep going. She also subscribes to the forecast of the astrologist Susan Miller, whom she calls a friend.

And then this is just an incredible feat of reporting that I want to shout out. In parentheses, asked if she knows why Ms. Miller routinely and famously posts her predictions long past deadline, Ms. Lohan shrugged and said she has just learned to wait a few days to check. Which, you know what? That's a great answer. And also, it's incredible that this got to a place where we're talking about how Susan Miller is a, like, delinquent procrastinator. Incredible. Congrats to Lohan and all her success.

I wish her well. I do too. Would you go to the low-hand beach house? Absolutely. Would you? No. Of course not. I don't like people.

I don't like step and repeats. I'm looking for the most private beach experience. Also, can you imagine the music at this? It would be horrible. I would go to say I did it. Like, I'm also someone who went to the shore store, though, you know. What's the shores? It's like where they worked under the shore.

Oh, yeah. Right. Sure. Like, I'm down for a celebrity pilgrimage. I honestly think going to a store is different than partaking in the beach club experience. This just seems like not. It's not for me. Okay.

It's not for me, but I wish her well. I get it, you know. I hope the club in Rhodes is a success. Do your best vacation. Yeah. Many celebrities are right now. Let's talk about LeBron James, who's really, he's back. He's back in L.A., but last week he was at the bar.

Is he? Did he ever show up at the pizza place? He didn't show up with the pizza place yesterday. Do we know? I kept, when this was happening, I kept one of the beach. to send, like, photos from his Mediterranean vacation to people. Be like, are you sure he's back? I kept seeing a few social media reports that perhaps he was, he was back. Like, I saw someone be like, oh, I saw his son at the airport.

And then he signed his contract with the Lakers officially. I think he had to come back for that. Right. So. Can I ask you a question about that? Sure. Because it really did seem like he was in Anguila? Yes, he was.

Right. That was before. That was before. And then he flew all the way back to Los Angeles to sign a piece of paper. And then went back to Italy. They flew all the way to Italy. Yes. Is there no one?

Do the contracts have to be signed in the United States of America? I don't think so, but it's like ceremonial. And then also they have, like you can commit to a team and they can't sign until the seventh. So there's like six days in between. Yeah, but send the piece of paper to wherever LeBron is. We have the technology. I mean, he just, he wants to do him.

I guess so. I would make someone come to me if I were. LeBron James on vacation. I would say, please bring the paper to the beach that's not the low-hand beach house, and I'll sign it here. Anyway, sure. Yeah, anyway, so he was in, he was in Capri, I guess, or he was in the Mediterranean. He definitely went to an art opening of the artist Bryce Martens.

Incredible. It was like amazing Instagram photos of the two of them sitting on a couch. He is having a great time. There's also, and we have to talk about my personal favorite thing that happened last week, which actually happened. in 2016, but it resourvised on the internet last week, and that would be the Jay-Z Jetsky photos. I don't know what to say here.

I mean, we can talk about it, but I just want you to kind of hear the emotion and how much it means to me. I don't think I've ever related to a photograph more than I related to. Describe it. Tell the people what you're seeing in your head. It's Jay-Z. The simple version, it's Jay-Z on a jet ski, but they're in Italy. It's from a 2016 trip to Italy.

For some reason, he is wearing a helmet. that it's like basically a red kid's scooter's helmet. Like it fits Jayzie's head, but it's the style that you see the small children like whizzing by you on the scooters. And he is holding on to the jet ski with both hands in a way that suggests that he is supremely uncomfortable

and has possibly never been on a jet ski or a bicycle or anything else before. It's kind of like he's doing like the 10 and 2 driving a car, but it's like on the jet ski and you can just see the tension in his whole upper body, like not out of physical exertion, but out of fear.

And then his face is just so resigned and determined and just like, I'm on a jet ski and I have to be doing this. And I'm just going to hold on and keep going. It's amazing. He also, his life jacket is really too big, so it makes him look really small. It does, and he's kind of hunched over.

It basically looks like if Jay-Z were a grandma on a jet ski, That's like the only way to describe it. And then people also posted photographs of Beyonce on the jet ski from the same trip. And Beyonce is just kind of like standing up like she's about to kind of, you know, jump over an island on the jet ski. Like she's just off to the races and then Jay-Z is kind of just crouched over. Yeah. I mean, I was in a really bad mood yesterday and then somehow the picture just showed up on my Twitter. So was I.

Yeah, we both. It was just the mood was off yesterday. And then I saw the Jay-Z picture and I was like, I'm happy again. Everything's good now. I've never really understood the experience of joy before yesterday looking at that picture of Jay Zeta Jeski. It's incredible. I know what it means to be happy.

I do. I really do. That's so beautiful, Amanda. Yeah. That's not even how I feel on vacation. I'm usually the Beyonce mood on vacation, but I don't know. It spoke to me. They're on vacation again right now.

Yeah, they're all over the place. They're in Cannes. There are also rumors that Beyonce might be pregnant again. I know. Do you believe that? I mean, I guess you never know at this point. It's insane how big blue Ivy is now. She's like a real person.

She's like a real human. I can't believe it. I know that was six years ago at this point? Yeah. That's wild. I don't know if I believe these Beyonce rumors. She just went on tour. She's a meticulous planner.

I don't think she would plan a tour for when she's pregnant. That's true. Though maybe she would do the first few months, Serena style, you know? That's true. That is true. I don't know. I'm looking at these pictures. They just look like a woman who's not like tiny.

So it's hard for me to say. I think she looks great. She does. They seem to be having a truly fantastic vacation. Yeah, Jay-Z looks good. He's like entering a new stage of his fashion where he's like just kind of like a, it's very Californian to me. A lot of beach vibes. I like it.

They look great. Who's with the twins when they just go out and about with blue? I have to assume it's one of, you know, several nannies. 18 to 20 nannies that they have on a rotating. How many nannies do you think they have? Three. Three. One for each again. Don't you think you need more than that? I suppose.

I mean, I guess you don't really need a one-to-one coverage all the time. For them, you probably do. Twins are hard. My best friend has twins, and it seems really hard. Yeah. Okay. Draymond Green's been in France doing a wine tour. It's amazing. It's really... Draymond Green means a lot to me. I'm sorry, I had to collect my thoughts before I said that. I, you know, I'm new to the NPA space. Do you feel like should we explain the concept of Draymond to jam session listeners? Sure.

Yeah, absolutely. Will you kind of give the basics? Draymond Green is on the Golden State Warriors. Yeah. He was drafted like 58 out of 60 or like 30 out of 60 second rounder. And now he's become one of the most important players in the league. And as such, he has like a gigantic chip on his shoulder except that he's won three championship. So it's like, cool dude.

He proved it. He's really good. He talks a lot. He definitely likes to party. I know he also likes to do it a soul cycle. He's got definitely has BDE. And he just like really likes to, he likes to have a good time. And he's chatty.

He's a bit of a shitster. Definitely. I know him as the guy. Right. I know him as the guy who's always like kicking or hitting people in the nuts. Which you're not allowed to do in the NBA, just FYI. He had a dick pick. He accidentally Snapchatted his dick in 2016.

I looked at it, did you? No. I look at like almost all dick picks. Okay. It was out there. Fair enough. I mean, is that illegal? Is that embarrassing?

It's not illegal. Well, I don't think it's illegal. for you. I didn't seek it out. I saw it on Twitter. Right. It just came to me. I think it's, I wouldn't feel too bad about it.

Okay. Well, I've seen Jamon Green's dick. Okay. As has like thousands of people, if not millions. Right. Yes. I mean, I did know about it. I just kind of haven't.

I haven't sought it out. It wasn't coming to you in 2016. It was July 2016, I recall. Anyway, Dream on Green, he, like, is really leaning into the finer things. Like this summer, he's been almost exclusively photographed in Gucci. and he's like literally doing a wine tour with his girlfriend. She's a R&B singer.

It's like pretty amazing. It seems like he's having a great time. It's really inspiring to me. That's all. Yeah. He's living his best life. I really liked it in the NBA. When you have made it, like when you were like, I'm feeling good about my career.

I've got a lot of money. People in this league respect me. What you do is you get into wine. Like that's how it goes. LeBron James is a leader in the space. That's very true. I don't know if you're familiar with Dwayne Wade and Paul George. they did a sit down that we parodied for the ringer. Yeah, no, I read the, I've, there was a

a long wine piece. There was a lovely carafe involved, a decanter, I guess. No, I remember. The whole thing was great. And that's just, that's what he's doing right now. Right. I'm familiar with the LeBron wine because he will spotlight the wines that he's drinking on his Instagram stories if you follow them. Amanda, you got to check out Dremont after this podcast. Okay, I will. You're going to be really into it. And check out his girlfriend, too. He links to her. Right. So they're in their wine tasting. Where Are they? Most, they were in Greece and France. Okay. They were in France for their semi-final win, which is cool.

Okay. Oh, that's fun. Yeah. And the one there is pretty good. Good stuff. And then not on vacation, but traveling. One of our favorite couples, Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex. She has really been out.

The last three days, they've had like eight public appearances. It's really, I guess they cluster them so it's. So then they kind of like time off. Right. And they have all the staff there and everything that they can do. A lot of outfits from her. They're getting, she's getting more comfortable. Which is good.

She has found a tailor. The dress is finally fit. She's waving well. She's waving well. But I really, today she was wearing a black pantsuit that was by Giovanni, who was the same person who designed her dress. And I just, it's a no for me. It's, we really, and I, she looked beautiful at her wedding with that dress didn't fit her properly. Yeah.

I'm sorry, I have to say it. And I just really don't think Javansi is working out for her. And we need to rethink it. There we go. She also wore Javanshi yesterday. Right? When she was wearing the green outfit for their arrival in France in Ireland? I think she, everyone thought she was wearing Javanshi, but it was Dior.

Oh, got it. I loved that really rich, dark green. She looked amazing. Yeah. My mom and I, for the entire time she was on suits, wondered why everyone got, like, Sarah Rafferty and Gina Torres got to wear these amazing, well-tailored dresses. Right. While Megan Markle's character had to wear, like, blouses and pencil skirts.

And we're just like, why? Like such awful styling. Right. And she's still rocking the pencil skirts as a, as a, the duchess. So I'm wondering if she likes pencil skirts. She so liked it. You know, I think at some point you're also trying to, she might feel the pencil skirts fit her better. You know, and it is, it's easier to find separates that fit than a dress has to be tailored perfectly to you every single time.

Right. And as we have noted, sometimes there have been issues with that. It's true. So, I mean, if you know something works, I can see relying on it. Yeah, that's true. That's true. I like that she's just gone so upscale, though. Like, Kate will throw in Zara and Topshop quite frequently.

Not Megan. Megan, she has, like, a Madewell hat, and everything else is Couture, basically. Well, you can see also that she got thrown into the deep end on this stuff. Like, she now has to... The specifications of how you have to dress for, like, standing on the balcony at Buckingham Palace and, like, watching planes fly overhead. I don't even know what I would do in that situation. It has to be, like, a certain length.

It has to fit a certain way. You know, there are all these things you can't do. So I understand just bringing out the big guns at the beginning while you're still figuring out what works and what doesn't. Sure. Finding your style as the Duchess can't be easy. Right. And the second she walked into the room, his accent and like his inflection completely changed. So I like it's like I think when you are married to a British person, you pick up their intonation. Yeah. And the inflection like like like are, instead of being, are you okay?

It's like, are you okay? Yeah, it goes down at the end of a sentence. It's a different kind of inflection. So I think that's probably part of it. No, I totally agree. I mean, this happens. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and actually do have a bit more of a southern accent than I do at this moment. Uh-huh.

When I go back to Atlanta. Yeah. I think it's my husband has said that when we go back for Christmas, it's like, a new voice pops out of my head. Which, again, it's just because it's proximity and how you talk to people, you adjust to a certain environment. So I think that's what's happening. This is also not full British.

She still sounds like herself. Yeah, definitely. One final note about Megan Markle. Yes. What's with all the stilettos? Why does she always wear stilettos? It seems so uncomfortable. Well, there's this thing I've read about this arbitrary rule against wedges.

You're apparently not allowed to wear wedges as a royal person, which number one is not true, Because Kate Middleton wears wedges all the time. I love Kate Middleton's Stuart Whitesman Wedge phase. Yeah. It was one of the peaks of my life as a Royal Watcher. I mean, maybe she was told no more, and then Megan, you know, went the other way. I don't know. Never forget that Megan just is from Los Angeles.

It's true. She has a certain understanding of what fancy is, and I think it involves still. That's not my fancy. Also, at some, I mean, what other shoes is she going to wear? I don't know. Just like a slightly less high, less chunk. Kee-heel. I mean, they do look really nice. Yeah.

I just look at it and I just feel paying for her. I do as well, but. She's really going hard on the Altazura stilettos. Yeah. I don't, it's not what I would do, but also I would be so deeply uncomfortable in every aspect of this situation, both fashion-wise and, you know, existentially, that I choose to mostly go with what she chooses, except for the things that don't fit her. We can pay for that.

Find a tailor. That's all. Find a tailor, Megan. Moving on. Forbes has Kylie Jenner on the cover this month saying that she may be the first self-made billionaire and that she's currently worth $900 million. Show me the math. Seriously. Show me the math. Show me the science behind that.

I mean, not to. I think that she is probably worth a lot of money. This is based on the success of her lip kits, which are extremely successful. They sell out. It also makes a very basic business sense where if you sell something and people give you money for it directly, you are going to have a lot of money. probably more than if you're relying on sponsorships or, say, licensing your name to a Beach House in Mecanos. What? So, like, I get it.

I would like to see the receipts on the math. I also want to talk about how Forbes could have got Kylie Jenner on the cover. Sure. And number one, by promising that they would describe her as self-made. Yes. And also throwing around the word billionaire. Because it's like, if you say it enough times, it's like the secrets, wish it into existence. Right.

And so I also think it's like obviously an image management pivot away from being like a new mom or like the youngest of the Kardashian-Gener is like she's trying to like start a new career. Kendall Jenner went through this too. It's like when she's tried to be like a capital M model. And it kind of worked, I guess. I don't know. She's definitely considered a model, but she's like, she is a model and people say she's good at it, but she's still a Jenner first. Yes. People are hiring her for a very specific thing.

And Kim Kardashian, I didn't even realize, like, she's been peddling a lot. But, like, her cosmetic and perfume endeavors are kind of, like, lost on me. And so I actually think, well, and Kylie is supposedly much more successful than Kim's, right? Like, her beauty lines. I believe so. I think. But I think it's hard to, like, become Bobby Brown or Estee Lauder, if you're Kylie Jenner. But that's, like, probably what she's trying to do.

I think it is. Well, I think she's trying to become her version of Bobby Brown. Estee Lloyd Lodder. I mean, obviously it's worked for Rihanna, who has like a wildly successful beauty line. And I think, you know, you could bring in something like Glacier, which is like the non-celebrity version of this. Sure. But again, has a reinvented, people will spend, like, I'm among them, people will spend a lot of money on skincare and beauty products and all these sorts of things. Sure. So one thing that's both notable about both Glacier and Rihanna, though, is like they have a very specific message about beauty and body positive.

or like lifestyle. They're not necessarily body positivity, but they're both like inclusive brands, both Glacier and Fenty Beauty. Yes. And that's one of the reasons why it's like so cool. They're so successful, particularly Rianas. I don't really think that's like the Kylie Jenner message. No, people are paying to be like Kylie.

Yeah. But it's the lip kits are $29. So that's like an affordable way to be. And Glossier is not cheap. I don't know about Fenty Beauty. Glossier is not cheap, but it's less than $29 for a lip kit. So I think they're all kind of mid-range and not like Chanel expensive. Right.

Well, Kylie Jenner, show us the receipts. Then maybe we'll believe you. Yeah. But good luck, you know, do your thing. Some more well wishes. First, George Clooney and get well soon. Did you watch the video of his motorcycle crash? You know what?

I didn't. I kind of didn't feel like I needed to watch the actual video to be like, I watched it. That's terrible and I hope you get better soon. Hard to believe his injuries aren't worse. Yeah. He like flips over. He goes head on into a car. That's...

That is a moment to me where I'm like, it's so weird that we're able to see that. I mean, I get it. It's the future. We can see all of these things. But like, I don't... Do I need to see that? No, you don't. Yeah.

I was just kind of like, it'll upset me. And then I won't add to my life in any given way. And my knowledge and wishes for Doors George Clooney will not be changed, so I'm not going to watch it. That was my thought. I understand that. He's fine. He's fine.

I love Cardi B. Like, I wish them well. That's very exciting. Haley and Justin Bieber, I'm just like, I don't... This is very morbid. But there's just no way that Justin Bieber's life goes, like, well and smoothly. He's such sort of like an oddball at this point. Like, he does weird things.

Like, I had heard a while ago he bought a house in New Jersey, like, to live in. And he is... Oh, right, because there was a rumor about it and there are people kind of... There are all these teens who were just hanging out in the town waiting to get a sighting of Justin Bieber. Yeah. There was a good New York Magazine article about that. Yeah, and it's because that's where his pastor lived that he bought. a house there.

Yeah. And he, in his Instagram post, like, talked about wanting to set a good example of a functional relationship for his sister and brother, which I think is very sweet and a great notion. But obviously, he's, he is, um, affected by his own parents and, like, the way he grew up. And I don't know. He just lived so much life. And he's, I don't know if he's sober or not sober. It's just like, he is such a weirdo.

It's really hard to imagine that Justin be. I know. gay married 24 is a good idea. Can't you just be in a committed relationship? This is a thing about people who get married quickly. Under 30 celebrities who get married really quickly. It's just like what's wrong with trying out a committed relationship and like living a low-key life together?

See if you like it. Stay home like three nights in a row and see how it goes. The thing that's wrong with it is that this is not actually about the relationship or the companionship or two people. It's about being caught up in, it's about the event and being like, oh, like we're get to get married and we get the attention and we'll feel like we're doing something. It's not about the actual relationship. It's about the frenzy around it.

Right. Which is depressing except, like, you know, I think they're young and as long as there are no kind of really dire consequences as a result of their inevitable breakup, then like, whatever, I don't care. I don't think that they'll get married. I'm not going to invest a lot of emotion in it. Who's more likely to get married? Pete and Ariana or Bebes and Haley? I think Pete and Ariana for a few reasons. And I mean, that's obviously, I'm kind of a fan of it. I like both of them. I don't think that they should be getting married this quickly. And I, we talked about this before. It seems impulsive and rash and a little bit of theater kids doing a thing. Sure. But there seems to be something, they seem to at least be really care about each other.

Yeah. I can't sense like a connection between Justin Bieber and Haley Baldwin. Me neither. At all. Me neither. It does have that air of being like, oh, well, they're getting married really quickly, so we can get married really quickly too. I have heard that she is like legit obsessed with him for what it's worth.

Yeah, but that doesn't. Obsession does not a marriage make. Exactly. Good luck, guys. It's tough out there, finding love on these streets. I guess so. Especially if you're weird, like Justin Bieber. Yeah.
