Reject Nation. My name is Jackie. My name is Paige. And I'm here for my hot date with Captain
America. We're watching the Winter Soldier. Thank you for not dressing up. I didn't. I appreciate you.
You're not trying to, you know, outdo me here. Actually, I heard that there was going to be a
character that I was really going to like in this one. Mickey works. Maybe Mickey's coming.
Maybe Missy's coming. I don't know. Someone just told me that there was going to be a character that I
really liked in this. A little birdie. A little bit, tweet.
All right, I'm really excited to get right in.
I want to see my man, so I got to go.
Dying.
Okay, bye.
Let's do it.
Thank you to Hewell for sponsoring this video.
More on them in just a bit.

Paige, what did you think?
Page has a hard out.
today, guys. I do have a heart out and that's okay
because I got a hard on for the winter
soldier.
Sorry.
You handed it to me. No, I loved it.
I thought he was
very, very hot, honestly. I'm very, I
always liked this actor. I actually loved him.
What was the Tommy Lee, Pamela Anderson
that this actually did? Tommy.
Yeah. Fantastic. He was
he's honestly
a really solid actor. I wish that he didn't
have that mask on through so much of it.
But, yeah, that was a secret.
That was a really fun part for me.
Definitely a new Favey on the villains.
Does he come back?
Do we get more Winter Soldier?
I'm assuming, yeah.
Oh, man, yeah.
I was here for him.
Also, just super interesting that we, I guess the Shield is done now.
I'm very intrigued by what is next.
Is it just the Avengers just making their own?
No way.
It has to be something else.
There is there.
But, like, I feel like we still hear about Shield.
So maybe they just...
I don't know, though.
Reboot.
Shield just exploded.
I feel like they're not going to go back, you know?
We'll see.
What do you think, Jackie?
I loved it.
Yeah.
I really loved it.
He was here for your boy, too.
Yeah, I had a really nice date with my time.
I really loved it.
Yeah, I loved Bucky coming back.
I loved, I felt like this is one of the most...
I said this earlier, but like one of the most politically charged MCU films that I've
scene in a way that I really
like supported and loved and was really intrigued by
because it did hit really, really, really close to home.
I felt like it was very...
Probably more now than at the time it was even made.
Yes, absolutely. And I think it really just cemented
all of the things that are what
make Captain America my favorite superhero,
which is he's not just blindly supporting
the system. He has his own sense of morals that he believes in,
that he knows in his heart are right and true.
and he's going to fight for those, and he's not going to, like, say, screw you if you don't get it or screw you.
Like, he believes in human to human and second chances.
And, like, he never really fully trusted Scarjo or Nick, but he still is, like, fighting to help them understand, like, and find their own sense of morality.
And also, like, him even saving Bucky.
Like, I love it.
I loved it.
I love him.
It was great.
And I liked, um, I really liked the Scarjo and Captain America, how they play off of each other.
because they are just such polar opposites, I think,
in terms of how they became Avengers.
Right.
But I mean, their chemistry, their romantic chemistry,
wouldn't really work for me, I don't think.
But I like that they are like friending it.
And she's trying to find somebody for him.
And be a little flirty.
Because I really,
who isn't a little flirty with their friends?
I felt a little sad for him a lot through this.
Like he lost so much and never really got to build a life for himself outside of this job,
essentially.
So I don't know.
I'm hopeful that maybe he doesn't.
does get to save Bucky and have some piece of his past back together with him, you know?
So last year, I made this whole big production out of, like, getting into clean enough shape to get a six-pack photo and I proved I could do it.
And this year, my weight has been remarkably more adventurous.
I just got back from a full week in New York where basically every meal became an event.
I mean, an event, went to bed hating myself, a lot of binge eating.
And it was kind of a wake-up call because I've been doing that a little too often.
came back feeling bloated, some weight gain, had to get reality with that.
And now I'm committed to be more consistent, even on weekends, at least until Halloween is here.
And one thing I've been using in my day to day, Huell.
I use it during my cut, and I never stopped using them actually even after.
Our fridges here are stocked with the bottles.
But now that I'm really watching what I eat for a few weeks, it's one of the things that I'm consistently taking.
Still, because I don't need every meal to be perfect.
I need one decision that's easy to repeat.
And Huell Black Edition powder starts out less than $3 per meal, has 40 grams of protein, mixes with water or milk in about 30 seconds, and it's a complete meal you have instead of food.
Not a shake on top of food.
You put a shake like here with 27 essential vitamins and minerals and no artificial sweeteners, colors, or flavors.
Although, I do love mixing it with my yogurt, particularly the banana flavor.
And the RTD bottle is the Grabbing Go version, 35 grams of protein, seven grabs of fiber, under five bucks a meal.
The chocolate peanut butter is my main jam.
Thanks, Koi, for leaving and going off to Ireland.
And now leaving me with no chocolate peanut butter.
Again, you are so consistent at that.
Anyway, new customers, they get 15% off online at huel.com slash rejects with code rejects.
New customers only.
Thanks, Hewell, for partnering and supporting real rejects yet again.
My God, I love your product.
All right.
Let's dive into some rapid fire questions.
Pierre, the reject writes in and says, hello, Jackie and Paige.
Hello.
This movie is considered.
the best MCU movie and the best Captain America film in the trilogy?
What did you think of the highway fight scene?
And did Sebastian Stan give you the chills from his presence in that scene?
I loved the highway fight scene.
Yeah, I loved it too.
Definitely.
It was so grounded in a way that I feel like made up, like is the exact opposite of what we did not like about Thorpe Dark World.
Yes, very much.
It did feel very grounded.
I don't know.
I just always really appreciate car chase, or not car chase, but car battle, I guess, scenes.
and the coordination that that probably took.
It also just felt like there was a lot in this of like,
I don't know how I was to put it,
like great, like ninja skills in the fighting.
Well, I feel like he's been training in like taekwondo or something.
But Scarjo also and even the first one on the ship where it was like,
it felt like we were watching Mortal Kombat.
Like there's really a skill to like the martial arts aspect in in this one for me.
Yeah.
Yeah, loved the highway.
Loved it.
Loved it.
Like I said, made me think about whiplash too.
so.
Yeah.
And I think that she got chills from Sebastian Stan just in a different way.
And in a special spot.
Do you want me to read the questions?
Yes, because you'll be much quicker.
Mikey Ono says,
Steve Rogers is willing to challenge an organization he once trusted because he
believes its actions contradicted its stated values.
What do you think this movie says about the importance of questioning authority,
especially when everyone around you insist that the system is working for the greater good?
Thank you.
I mean, yeah, I think that it's important to always, always, always.
question authority because that is the real mark of intelligence as an individual, is being
able to think for yourself and operate off of your own sense of morality. And that is a journey
that you have to figure out for yourself, you know? Yeah, agreed, especially now more than ever.
I am constantly trying to find the balance and questioning authority and being a good member
and part of our society. And it is really tough, especially today.
For any kids watching, questioning authority does not mean not respecting your elders.
Absolutely.
You can question them in a respectful way.
My kids are in a really tough age for that.
But yeah.
Always be respectful.
Let's always be kind and respectful.
Because we're not Captain America.
We don't need to like explode high.
Right, right.
We're not usually in that situation.
But you can be an activist and you can always fight for the greater good.
And there is always a lot we can do to support our communities.
Cody Price says, hijacking page.
the first of six films in the MCU directed by the Russo brothers.
Oh, they are brothers! Yay!
Two of them on their way with the upcoming Avengers Doomsday and Avengers Secret Wars.
They also directed Captain America's Civil War, Avengers Infinity Wars, and Avengers Endgame.
Oh, aren't those like some of the best movies?
How did you like their spy, thriller, darker tone they put on Captain America and does it make you excited to watch their other MCU films they have directed?
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
I think especially, again, we've said coming off of Thor.
Thor for sure.
The floor movies are just not it for me, girl.
Yeah, but they are not, they're not very grounded at all.
And like we said, I think a lot of the greenscreen CGI takes us out of it as a whole.
Yeah, I'm really happy to know that they're brothers too, just as a mom.
Like, I'm like, if my kids did anything as adults together, it's like, makes me so happy.
Their parents must be so proud.
I'm such a fan of the Russo brothers in a lot of their work.
And also, I love spy thriller, darker stuff.
I even loved Halloween 3.
By the way, me and John's Halloween reactions.
I don't know.
But no, I loved it.
It makes me really, really, really excited to watch those.
I love the first Captain America a little more, though.
But that's just because I love the 1940s.
I think I like the first one a little more, too, to be honest.
Yeah.
This one was really quick pace, though.
Yeah.
Definitely the opposite of Thor.
Dan Gehan writes in and says,
Jackie and page hope you enjoyed this one it's in my
MCU top three also got to meet
Chris Evans this this summer and you'd be
happy to know he's a sweetheart what did you
think of the okay
what did you think of the political thriller tone
which we answered and then did the Hydra
twist work for you I loved it
yeah I think it did because we were really
familiar and all on board with hating Hydra
you know what I mean I mean I gave
Marvel some shit about being
military propaganda but they
won me and that's a whole other conversation
But yeah, they really won me back with this one.
I really have to wonder if they would be brave enough to come out with something like this nowadays.
But again, we are speaking as two people that are only up to date with this movie.
So we don't know.
Maybe you guys in the comments are like, they do this all the time.
We don't know yet.
That's why you're here, isn't it?
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
It is.
I'm getting me in today.
I'm kind of hungry.
No, it's why they're here.
We got to go.
I got to go.
Dewey, hi, Jackie, and Paige, I've seen a lot of positive opinions on this movie.
and while I do think it's good, I also think it's overrated and not a top five MCU movie.
Personally, I just don't find the character of Steve Rogers.
That interesting to me.
It's just too perfect of a person with a bland personality and voice.
But I know you'll disagree on that, but I'm curious.
But I still enjoy this movie for things like, did you know, the Winter Soldier theme where Bucky screams as he fell out of the train in cap one?
That's crazy.
That's just a take.
Thank you, Dewey.
Doey, don't be mad.
Jackie, don't be mad.
I'm kind of with you, though.
He's a little too goody two shoes for me sometimes.
So, Dewey, I'm with you.
don't tell Jackie.
Cover your ears.
Vincent Cole says,
hi, Jackie and Page.
This movie features a lot of Black Widow along with Captain America.
Do you think that those two characters worked well together?
Also,
would you like more team-ups from multiple characters
in future solo movies?
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
I think that they worked great together because they're so different,
but they ended up coming towards a common goal.
And yeah,
I like when there's at least one other in there.
Yeah, I kind of kept waiting for...
I was expecting that in Thor and I was disappointed that we didn't have it.
We want some other, especially at the end,
come help with the final battles.
What are you doing?
Twitter on your thumb?
But I do like that they're very platonic, too.
It's not like every female male friendship has to be sexual, you know?
I agree.
I think it makes me respect Cap even more.
Just a Girl 329 says, hi, Jackie and Paige, I hope you were both doing well.
I've been enjoying watching these movies with you.
And I wanted to say, thank you.
It's been super fun.
Thank you.
Thanks.
How shocked were you to watch a superhero movie completely shift into a high-stakes spy thriller
where nobody is safe?
And what was your favorite fight scene?
Mine was the elevator fight and Cap's escape, Shep's Kiss.
P.S. Try Not to Me.
I don't want Tony X-Mexam.
I'm ignoring the last thing.
I love Tony.
I feel like I almost didn't realize, like, at the end, that that plant, which I feel
stupid for not realizing, but that when she was, when Robert Scherbatsky was counting down
the time, it was like, oh, that's how long we have until they killed the 20 million people.
20 million people, yeah.
That was so high stakes that I was like, what?
I feel like she's always doing the countdown.
She's the countdown girl.
I did like the elevator scene a lot,
but I think the highway maybe one top,
top favorite for this particular movie.
The elevator, I like the elevator one.
He was just so sexy.
So compact.
Yeah, he's so compact.
Maurice Greed Jr. says,
ladies, did the reveal of Bucky's winter soldier surprise you?
Fun facts in the comments,
Bucky was Capp's boy sidekick,
Robin to his bad man instead of the same age best friend.
I like the same age best friend more.
Comic Bucky was caught in.
an explosion was considered really dead for decades until somebody decided to remake him as the winter soldier.
Did it surprise you?
I feel like both of us silently knew.
I feel like I didn't.
I saw it, but I didn't say it.
But I was like, no way.
It wasn't a total shock, but it was a shock.
Yes.
I was, could you be surprised and not shocked?
Shocked and not surprised?
I don't know.
I think Sebastian Stan in 26, the year of our Lord, he's a, he's more.
recognizable now. Yeah, that's true. And when this came out. That is a great point. That's a really,
really great point. And shout out to him. Yeah, again, he's fantastic. He's really like launched his career.
Yes, he has. And he is super solid performer, always. Andrew Porteous says,
hello guys, I wanted to ask what you thought about transitioning. Steve from the World War II
setting to modern times. I know the first movie shows a very romanticized version of that time,
but in my opinion, this film totally takes an ideological, honorable character and places him
in a gritty modern setting where people are so duplicitous, especially in the government world.
Did you like how this was handled?
Yes, but I do agree with you that I think that there were also very duplicitous people in the
olden times.
But I like, God forbid, like, I like to romanticize.
I know that it wasn't like that.
I know, I'd like to, I can still fight for a better today and at least like, I need an idea
of what to hope for.
If I really look too realistically at like how the world is and has always been, I think it's very hard to find hope.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's true.
But there are always helpers.
There really are always helpers, too.
There are always people like Captain America around.
I do have to believe that for myself and for society as a whole.
I thought you just said his character is Blan, Paige.
Well, you can be Blan and I mean, listen.
Whatever.
I don't even care.
You guys know I'm not here for all the good guys, right?
No, that's true.
I'm not.
No, you're right.
I always take it for the good days.
From the beginning.
I don't know.
I want to wait.
All right.
I loved it.
Last one.
Last one.
Nateak says,
firstly,
I'd like to apologize
on behalf of Marvel
for Winter Soldier
not being revealed
to be Mickey Rourke.
You knew!
But my question for you is,
if real rejects
was secretly infiltrated by Hydra,
what code word would you use
to prove you are innocent
and which reject would you trust the most?
Greg is fallen to Hyder.
Who would we trust the most?
I feel like Aaron is like the most trusting person ever.
No, I feel like he'd fall to Hydra.
Really?
Can I say myself?
No, you can't say yourself.
You were supposed to say me.
I trust Paige.
I would say Paige and you know what I would say?
What's our code word?
It would have to be good because Mickey's too obvious.
Everybody knows that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That was named in the question.
We're not telling you our code word.
We're not telling you our code word.
How do we know you're not?
How do we know you're not Hydra?
Okay?
Paige, we are going to come up with a cum laude.
Or something.
Like, hold on, hold on.
I really have to go, though, Jackie my children are waiting on me.
Okay, we'll whisper later.
Bye.
Bye guys.
We know you, bye, mu-bye.
