I have so many things to tell you guys. I get freaky out. Number one,
Starting point is 00:02:06 let's start with this. If you're listening on Apple or Spotify, make sure you give us five stars. Number two, I forgot to tell you guys at the top and did little drops throughout. But despite Greg and I insulting each other apparently today, he's being the man and he had Tara and I. Starting point is 00:02:53 mad on camera i'll i'll scrutinize her the camera's not really okay Don't you ever talk to me that way. So the cameras pointed at me. Challengers, you and I had completely different experiences with this one for sure. I know beforehand you had said, I heard this isn't as sexy as it was marketed. And to me it was like 5,000 times more sexy than marketed. It was more for play. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:03:18 Like I thought, I heard it wasn't as sexual. And so I was like, because people always advertise like, apparently this like three-way kiss scene is what's the thing that was the thing that was. was going around so i think people thought it was just gonna be like a lot of like sexual action just like people doing it and stuff the whole time but a lot of it was like tension and sweat and chemistry and a lot of that even like this time for you were like oh that's so hot was not even really to do with like them like kissing and stuff totally yeah that's where a lot of like the sexuality was oozing off the screen was definitely except i wasn't uh part of the foreplay with the fun here as much as you were like you guys were like kind of messed
Starting point is 00:03:58 That's where I was just coming from I really like I was still I really enjoyed it the whole time I love the movie I love the movie I thought it was a fantastic movie I did loved it I I am totally I just didn't have the You didn't think it was hot I just did not have that hot response that you were having Where I was like uh no I just so what did you like the tennis stuff I love the characters I love the characters and I love the drama I loved I loved all the bad choices of watching them do horrible things it's like a reality show
Starting point is 00:04:26 I loved it. Yeah, I loved all the, I think like the way it was directed and the dialogue's great, the performances, everything about it is a, it's a pretty freaking, and the ending is like awesome. Like, it's such a multi-layered ending. It's kind of like Whiplash. Have you seen Whiplash? Mm-hmm. It's kind of like a Whiplash ending where you're just like, wow, there's so many like terrible things about this ending with so many awesome things about this ending is like all compounded into one.
Starting point is 00:04:49 The fact that Art and Patrick have that embrace at the end is really fascinating. and like the dynamics of them the entire time it does it almost does feel like they are in love with each other i think they were and in love with her as well yeah it's a it is a three three way relationship and i feel like they just should have like it's just i think the movie's trying to tell you that that's how it should have started with them instead of hopping around between who gets uh zendaya and who doesn't get zendaya you you think the message of the movie is that they should have been a thruple i don't know if that's like the i think that's one of the things that the movie is kind of implying.
Starting point is 00:05:27 I don't know if that's like the overall message. That's interesting. You don't think they should have been a throttle? I feel like they should have been. It seems like that was the way things would have been healthy. I don't know. I don't know whether they should have or should have not have been. I just think it is interesting.
Starting point is 00:05:41 It's interesting that the way that they like needed her to feel comfortable about being with each other. Like when we get that kiss of theirs. Yeah. But they weren't cool with just kissing each other unless she was in the room. Yeah. but she like wasn't she wasn't part of that kiss for a while so I think yeah it's really like kind of a complicated love story between the two of them more than it more than it is with her yeah I mean I think it's a complicated story in general and about that tennis like I did have a hard time predicting this movie because we had unpredictable characters that changed their motivation and their personalities throughout this movie because the fact that at the end art finds it deep within himself to take down Patrick. When we've seen the whole movie,
Starting point is 00:06:30 he lacks the confidence, and Patrick is the more skilled player, but he just was not able to find the way to do that until that one second where he realizes that Patrick and Zendaya, Patrick and Tashi had gotten it on. Yeah. That changed everything for him.
Starting point is 00:06:50 But it's interesting because it didn't change everything for him when he saw what happened. happened in Atlanta. He saw them together at the table. That was eight years ago. I think it did because he became great after that. Well, it depends who you ask. Because if you ask Tashi or Patrick, he never became great.
Starting point is 00:07:09 He became really, really good. I think it was one of those things where, I mean, he became, he's the one who gained the success and gained the fame. He's got the whole Aston Martin Billboard and everything. So he could clear. I think it was the, I think, I think he, I don't quite know the time. terminology for it. I've just seen so many sports movies that kind of talk about it, where he was never going to be like a legendary tennis player, but he was enough to have like a thriving career, if that makes sense. But he would never be like going down as one of the greats. And she always, she sought out the greats, like to have like a legend, you know. And so he still managed to have like a very lucrative career where Patrick did not have a lucrative career. He's like freaking broke. You know, after all these years. And so I think that's, what were we talking about?
Starting point is 00:08:00 I forgot my point. I'm not sure where you were going. Because you had said he was great. And then you had said he wasn't one of the great stuff. You were asking something and then I answered a question. And then my stomach riled and I've been sucking in my stomach because I'm wearing white today. This is white making. I just feel like I naturally, when I'm wearing white, I suck in my stomach.
Starting point is 00:08:18 This is your tennis look. I know. I'm obviously comfortable and confident when I'm wearing great. Yeah, of course. That is fair. I'm not sure, but yeah, I think that this, like when Patrick says to Tashi, this is worse than you coming here to sleep with me, is you asking me to lose to him. I think that was kind of when Tashi and Patrick were aligned on their love for tennis in that way.
Starting point is 00:08:46 It's just that's interesting. They just were so much more similar than Art and Tashi was. Reject Nation, when I heard that this. company wanted to partner up with us yet again. I was so enthusiastic about it. Reason being, I had already been using their product for well over a year by the point we first ever collaborated with them. So the fact that we get to have this ongoing partnership just makes me a happy camper. And that is, of course, for the app, Rocket Money. Now, if you guys don't know what Rocket Money is, don't worry, I got you covered. I'll tell you about them in just a little bit. But before that,
Starting point is 00:09:19 I wanted to share with you guys why I love this app so much. It's actually a very personal reason. You see, like many of you guys, I too grew up in a home where money did not come easily, needless to say. The predominant conversation in my family household was undoubtedly about financial struggle, financial worry. And that does a number on you. So it certainly seeped into my adulthood when I was trying to learn how to become financially independent. And to this day, as someone who talks a lot about working on his mental health, who's proudly going to therapy, no matter how much lack we might have in money one day or how much success we might have in money sometimes, I still have to have this ongoing conversation about my relationship with money.
Starting point is 00:10:01 I'm half Filipinos. My mom's always talking to me about taxes to this day. I think, though, it does start with how you manage the finances you currently have. See, before I ever acquired any type of reasonable living money, I heard someone speak about how you have to learn what to do with a dollar now. Essentially, the talk was about don't wait until you have like a bunch of money. and then start figuring out what to do with it afterwards, like you got a bunch of toys to play with. If you want to acquire more in life, you have to first figure out what you're going to do with what you currently have. And that's why I love this app. It's applicable for any financial
Starting point is 00:10:34 stage you are at in life. Come to think about it, it would have been very beneficial for me when I was in a real struggle boat years ago. So in summary, as someone who is constantly having an ongoing working relationship with how to handle money, Rocket Money has helped make that relationship a lot healthier in my life. So what are they if you don't know what they are? they are as a personal finance app that simplifies managing money by canceling unnecessary subscriptions, lowering your bills, and crafting a budget that fits your specific lifestyle. I'm telling you, Reject Nation, there's no greater feeling than when you look at the following month and you see that, oh my God, I have saved money. I've spent less. And progress equals
Starting point is 00:11:12 happiness. The best part is rocket money does a lot of the heavy lifting by analyzing your spending, then customizes notifications to stay within your budget goals. It's not just about saving money. It's about actively seeing and feeling your financial progress. And one of my favorite qualities about their service, too, is when it comes to monthly subscriptions. We've been blessed to be able to expand the team and hire more people. But with that in mind, that also comes with a lot more expenses.
Starting point is 00:11:37 So as this business has been growing, having to track exuberant amount more has been just as important. So now I have to track a lot of these business expenses. Then I've got to track my own personal finances. So in general, it's already been helping out a lot with that. But as you want to make things more efficient, you often find yourself signing up for a lot of apps for free trials that you quickly forget about. Next thing you know, you're paying a hefty fine for it. I'm sure, even if you don't have a YouTube channel, there's some way you can relate with that.
Starting point is 00:12:01 You see, because they track your monthly subscriptions, and they make it super easy to cancel the ones you do not use. A couple of clicks, and you're putting money back into your pocket. So if you're like me, you found hidden subscriptions or pay for services that you totally forgot about, Rocket Money was a lifesaver in uncovering those and even negotiated some of my bills. about, like I'd say, down by 20%. So if you want to join me on this journey of consistently taking care of your finances, do not want to start later. The best time is to start right now.
Starting point is 00:12:30 So please do yourself a favor. Check out Rocket Money and see how much you too can be saving. That way you can stop wasting money on things you don't use. Believe me, when it came with my accountant and tax season, that was a really big note. Visit RocketMoney.com slash rejects. They've helped me and I'm confident they'll do the same for you. That's rocketmoney.com slash rejects. Your wallet will thank you.
Starting point is 00:12:53 Because Rocket Money has over 5 million users and has saved a total of $500 million and canceled subscriptions, saving members up to $740 a year when using all of the app's features. So a great way to support your lifestyle and a great way to support the channel is by going and downloading the Rocket Money app yourself. And if it does help you, please go ahead, draw me a message. I'd love to hear if there's some way by just conveying this message it has helped you out too. Thank you, Reject Nation. well yeah that's why when they had the blowout fight with that end of their relationship before her recovery that she had a very similar discussion in the present day with art with with with art where art was like yeah okay yeah all right yeah whatever you want you know but patrick's like i'm not put up your bullshit because they're they're too similar they're they have so much more in common they i think they would have they they have so much sexual chemistry i think that if they wound up together they would
Starting point is 00:13:48 It would have been like one of those really toxic, passionate couples, you know? Yeah, completely. But I do wonder how Patrick would have been as a tennis player. Right. Yeah, that would have been fascinating. It probably would have been better. Yeah, of course. But he has too much of an ego to listen to her.
Starting point is 00:14:03 Except he asked her to be his teacher. When he's at his lowest point, it's probably just a way to get her back. But he knew that she knew that he doesn't have a chance. Like, I think she meant everything she was saying to him that, like, you're washed up. There's no chance. It was such a dance, this whole movie. Like, you just didn't know where anybody was going to step, which is really cool. And I think that really added to it.
Starting point is 00:14:26 I mean, you seemed really focused on the cinematography, which I thought was amazing. I was really focused on the music the whole time. There was, like, kind of something for everybody to grasp onto that was unbelievable visually and auditorily. Yeah. Auditorily. Audol. Aure. Aurele.
Starting point is 00:14:45 Aurele. Aureli. Yeah, yeah, I just, I couldn't, I, I didn't think this was going to be a great movie. Really? I hadn't heard it was a great movie. What did you hear? I had heard it was a sexy movie. Oh.
Starting point is 00:15:00 And I thought it was a great movie that was sexy. I did not hear, I did not hear about how cool it was. Yeah. Like, it's actually a cool, like the tennis scenes are really cool and I don't think are talked about enough because all people talked about it. It's like, like I haven't seen that movie with Jenna Ortega and Martin Freeman. that's on Netflix where apparently they do sexual I don't know what that is but apparently it's like a whole big deal that they do like sexual scenes that's all I've ever heard about this movie yeah it's all I've ever heard is that Jenna Ortega and Morgan Freeman
Starting point is 00:15:27 Martin Freeman would be a fascinating what did you say what did you say Martin Freeman oh oh I know exactly that is I think Morgan Freeman I would watch that movie right away no I don't know anything but it's the same thing with this like all I heard about was that one scene and and i but i didn't hear about like how how great the tennis scenes were shot i didn't hear jack about the characters i only heard about that one scene but the i think the way the they kept ramping up the match even to the point where you become the tennis ball like you are just part of the game at that point you are in their game the pov shifts were cool and how you're like that conversation that they have at the beach when they're smoking cigarettes becomes the final
Starting point is 00:16:13 moment here i thought was so uh excellently portrayed like i think this is a very wonderfully crafted story where um you know there is like a level of like sexual dominance and but mixed in with tennis being the ultimate threat and relationship i think it's a really clever film too and with really strong performances everyone like the three of them felt so real like they feel incredibly real so this was the director of call me by your name yeah that makes so much Since they ate the peach, man. They're always about authenticity with the performances. Yeah, it felt very authentic, but it was like cool.
Starting point is 00:16:52 And with the way the music... It felt like a sequel to Call Me By Your Name. I mean... Really? Yeah. Yeah, just the vibe. The second you said, I was like, oh. I like this way more than Call Me By Your Name.
Starting point is 00:17:02 You didn't enjoy that one, or you liked it, but not... I liked calling by your name, but I didn't quite get the hype. I liked it, though. It was more like, yeah, this is an independent movie. You know what? I liked this more than I liked Call Me By Your Name, too. but I loved this I like to call me my name a lot
Starting point is 00:17:18 but I thought that this movie was like I mean do this movie come out this year yeah this is definitely one of my top movies this is that I would call it one of my top movies of the year wow okay so I could not read your energy during this I just was not um
Starting point is 00:17:31 you loved it yeah you just didn't it wasn't hot to you it wasn't no it wasn't hot to me I was more I don't know you know what let us know Without going into, like, so much detail, and maybe you've known enough people, too. I've known enough people in my life who have, I maybe know one person in an open relationship where it's panned out really well.
Starting point is 00:17:57 But most of my life, I've seen so much ugliness go down via through that, through like polyamorous stuff. And so I'm like, when I'm watching this, I'm like, oh, this is reminding me so much of, like, things that I've known people, like, struggle, like, people I actually know and being involved. involved in it not to like this level of fame or whatever but I don't know just to me you're just reading it's like ugly business and stuff it was like too close to home so it made you not think it was hot yeah and then once it becomes like cheating and stuff I check I don't get I personally don't I can't just like surrender to the fantasy of it yeah I'm like no I'm like this is just nasty I don't like it yeah totally totally I mean like I think that's kind of what the the whole purpose of movies are for different people right Like, to me, this was just like the sexy moments. I just, they're not real humans to me. They're just. Yeah, I guess you. Yeah, yeah, it just was so hot.
Starting point is 00:18:52 But I'm glad you loved the movie because I was thinking you did not, we're not enjoying this. No. Is that why you were putting me down? I don't know. I think maybe you misunderstood my comments, but I don't want to put that on you. So I am genuinely really sorry. You said you're really annoying in this reaction and you're ruining the movie for me. I like everything about this movie except for you.
Starting point is 00:19:13 I would I so I just know what did I misunderstand here rocks you want me to explain right now let's hear it I thought this was really hot and usually when you're watching something that people like you were saying you know I don't think it's hot it's cheating it felt judgey so I was like okay so that was like as I was watching it it wasn't as fun because I couldn't say how hot I thought it was without you being like it's cheating it's not hot Um, I got to be that points. I'm just trying to put down. I would never want to, it's okay. I would never want to strip you away from what you were finding hot. I wasn't saying it seriously like you're an annoying person. I was just saying, oh my God, like leave me be. I'm watching this sexy movie.
Starting point is 00:19:59 We're going to grow up on camera together. I would never try to strip you away from that feeling. And I would never try to change anyone's opinion about something. I never would. And that's what I meant by with the comic box comment. I was like, no, I'm just talking about the movie. I'm not talking about you. I don't even remember the comment.
Starting point is 00:20:15 When I was like, oh, if I'm saying something about the movie, even if it's a different opinion, that had nothing to do with your opinion about it. Like, I personally would never, I'm like, I love that you have that response. I do. I thought it was hilarious. Okay.
Starting point is 00:20:31 Well, there we go, I guess. Any other thoughts on this, Greg? Yeah, Roxy likes car washes and this. That's what turns around. What if this was the first video we filmed? I don't know, we did, there was another video. Do you think we would film together again? There was another video that ended something like this and everybody was like, well, it's wrong.
Starting point is 00:20:50 It was like nothing. With you and I? Yeah. There was a video where you and I had something where it ended weird? Yeah. Which one? I don't know. It was a long time ago and you haven't, I haven't been filming with you, whatever.
Starting point is 00:21:01 Okay, that was Challenger's. I'm glad we both loved it. What was the last thing? Let us know. It wasn't the last thing. Let us know what you guys thought. GTF. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:21:11 We got to clip this shit out. put it on in the socials i don't think so i think this is the stuff we got to put on on the social we could totally build a reality show can we get oh my god gregg let us out of here i'm i feel trapped i'm stuck this is not a tennis match we're on the same team
Starting point is 00:21:26 we're on the same basketball team guys buy a she-jack shirt seriously it's a rejects shirt i'm sorry for calling you a dick i'm sorry for calling you what did i call you we don't need to rehash the past whatever i called you i'm sorry Whether it was in my head or out.
Starting point is 00:21:45 I'm getting confused between the lines of reality and what we're doing for the camera right now. What's up? I upset you? Do you actually think you upset me? I can't tell what's going on. To me, I'm just a bit. I would never bring a real problem to the camera. I promise you that.
Starting point is 00:22:03 Look how I'm dressed. Do you think I would take something serious? I'm sorry.
