You can do all that with MailChimp. What did I just MailChimp and say?

Number one, based on publicly available data on competitors, customers. Plans vary. SMS available as add-ons. Visit MailChimp.com. This week's videos are sponsored by an app that I've been using since before.
Starting point is 00:01:17 We've even partnered with them. And that app is Rocket Money. More on them after the reaction, people. This whole franchise is so perfect for Pride Month. And here we are to cover episodes five and six. So here we go. Shall we do it? Let's do it.
Starting point is 00:01:29 Okay. Let's do it. Because there's so many kills and so many twists and so much stuff. But the fact that I guessed one of the kills with the head and you guess the other kill with the car. Because we are just like, we are Chuckie. I know. We are. We love Chuck so much.
Starting point is 00:01:52 We love Chuck so much. Like this is our favorite. Yeah, by far. There's never been one bad Chucky anything ever. Like, this is the most watchable show and movie and franchise ever. I agree. Absolutely. Because we've found, you know, even with us watching Nightmare and Elm and we just started Friday the 13th.
Starting point is 00:02:16 But we haven't felt that, I mean, we like them definitely. And we loved like, we loved them too. But there's a different aspect. There's a different type of like joy and excitement that happens. right off the bat with Chuckie and they find a way to have done that for eight movies plus a TV show which to me
Starting point is 00:02:36 is insane. I think it has a lot to do with Dorif because of his voice and his characteristics the way he plays Chuckie. Both Dorffs bro but yeah Brad for sure but Fiona too. I mean she's phenomenal but we only got her in one movie thankfully she's back in the TV show or we got her in two movies but anyway like it's just I mean I love it it's so freaking good. We have a couple things that
Starting point is 00:02:57 We have to remind you guys, then we are going to get more into episode five and six and our thoughts on it. But number one, as we sit here, I just can't express enough, and I wouldn't tell you if it wasn't true. I have worn a lot of crunex in my life. This is my absolute favorite one. There's something about the feeling of it where it's like feels already worn in. Yeah, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:03:18 Like when we got it. Really comfortable. Yes, it was already like I'd been wearing it for years. Yeah. It's just amazing. And it has our Kolto Shijic's logo on the back. If you haven't bought one already, here's a couple reasons to think about it. Number one, you'll look really cool.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Number two, it comes in five different colors. So there's definitely something for you. Boy, girl, she, they, gay, whatever. All of it. For everybody. Number three, it helps support Tara and I and this entire channel. And number four, if these do well, we can keep our merch line going. Yeah, which we would love to.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Right. We've got ideas. We got thoughts. And we're going to get this going to. But like, see our little logo there. We'd love it. And we want to get. more of these out but we've got to show them with a full show out you guys buy you got to buy these
Starting point is 00:04:04 up baby get them for yourself we heard that one today we got the numbers and we heard one person got three different colors which like i we endure right whoever that is we love you thank you obsessed whether it's for your for your sister or your brother your mom you're dead your nieces and nephews yourself gift to you you deserve it okay that's number one number two if you are Apple or Spotify, please give us that five star. We want that five star pushes up in the podcast. And also, if you are on YouTube, leave
Starting point is 00:04:35 a comment. You guys know, we don't know if we can continue doing this for the season two. Only we prove to Greg that we deserve to be here. And we only have two episodes left. I believe it's only eight episodes. That like, crushes me. No, two. Six of it. If you guys don't show up
Starting point is 00:04:51 and we don't get enough comments and views and likes and all of that, Tara, are we watching together? in one of our apartments because like I can't walk them without you. Yeah, because we didn't know it'd be too weird. You guys got to show up on Zoom. On FaceTime because I can't do this without you, babe. We have to.
Starting point is 00:05:06 Okay, so we just did five and six. Now we're finally getting into real Chuckie. By real Chuckie, I mean the world of Chuckie. What's cool about episode one, two, three, four, they were like, okay, we welcome new fans. Come one, come all. All you have to know about is this doll. But there really, there was that phone call from Andy, but it wasn't that tied into the universe, although we did get a little about Chuckie's past, and we did get a little bit about
Starting point is 00:05:31 his old partner in crime that he had killed to start the Chuckie franchise. But it wasn't like our main players. And now they're like, oh yeah, you already love this show. You love watching the dynamic between junior and Lexi and Devin and Jake. And you like watching the dynamic between the parents, the cops, the everybody, the mayor, everyone involved. Okay, let's just level ourselves up. And let's bring you Andy. Let's bring you Nika. Let's bring you Tiffany. Like all the franchise favorites are here and back.
Starting point is 00:06:05 It makes sense while they're, why they're here. It doesn't feel shoehorned in. It's just the show is my chef's kiss. It deserves to be a TV show because we can do so much more with it. I'm just obsessed with this. I agree. The way that they're building out the world while giving us so many Easter eggs in this show, while still leaving it open for a new audience to just get on board.
Starting point is 00:06:28 You don't have to have watched all the movies, but the Easter eggs that we're getting make it so, so exciting. And the way that they did really cool editing to remind us of the murders that had happened that they had planted like on the teacher and also just doing some flashbacks to how we might know Nika and how we might know Jennifer, I think is a lot of fun.
Starting point is 00:06:49 But I think it gives us a, there's a large area to play with Andy now. And I forget what her name is. The blonde, but there's, to be able to play with them once they show up, probably at that house. And there we see the mom is dead now. For the penultimate and the final,
Starting point is 00:07:10 I bet that they'll be there. Yes, that they are going to, they're going to have to come through because they know where Chucky is going. And I love that that shot of like, it's kind of like a Pulp Fiction shot where they shoot Chucky. And they're like, thanks for your, thanks for your time.
Starting point is 00:07:25 I loved to see Andy and her together doing that and killing Chuckie that I think we're going to get another Pulp Fiction-esque, especially seeing her by the car. Did you see, did you notice how she's in full leather jacket? I'm like, we're doing some Pulp Fiction. Who's in full leather jacket? Who are you talking about? The blonde girl who's with Andy, who I forget her name. Okay, yeah, yeah. The foster sister.
Starting point is 00:07:49 She's in full leather. They're ready to F some shit up. And when they arrive with these kids, now, now we got two orphans. I think Chuckie's headed for the blonde girl's family. Who knows, but I can't wait to see Andy and the blonde. Lexi or? For Lexi. I think Chuckie is going for Lexi's parents because he.
Starting point is 00:08:10 The mayor and the dad because I think that's the way he rolls. I mean, Andy was like, listen, they're going to F your family up. They come for your family first. I think he's going to go for the parents. What about the sister? All right, rejuct nation, let's get real for a moment. Running this channel is incredible. But managing finances, especially taxes and budgeting, both for the channel and my personal life, can be overwhelming.
Starting point is 00:08:34 That's where Rocket Money has been a financial lifestyle before me, even before I ever partnered up with them. Like I said, I've been very fortunate to be working with brands whose products I already use. So it's a win-win for them. But it can be a win-win for you too because there's a reason I use them. Rocket Money is a personal finance app that simplifies managing money by canceling unnecessary subscriptions, lowering bills, and crafting a budget that fits your specific lifestyle. For someone like me who can easily lose track of expenses throughout every single day of the month. It's been eye-opening to see where I was overspending, stuff I don't use that I kept
Starting point is 00:09:03 paying for, especially apps. Man, I had way too many apps. Rocket Money does the heavy lifting by analyzing your spending, then customize this notifications to help you stay within your budget goals. It's not just about saving money. It's about actively seeing and feeling your financial progress. It's a great feeling. They track your monthly subscriptions to. So many free trials I've signed up for that I forgot to, you know, get rid of before the free trial was done. Making it super easy to cancel the ones you don't use. A couple of clicks and you're putting money back in your pocket. I'm telling you, have you ever found hidden subscriptions or pay for services you forgot about? Because Rocket Money is a huge asset in helping to uncover those. And even
Starting point is 00:09:37 negotiate some of my bills down to like 20%. So if you're ready to take control of your finances and there's no better time than now because it is the beginning of the year, check out Rocket money and see how much you could be saving. Stop wasting money on things you do not use. So to help support the channel and help support your wallet, visit rockermoney.com slash rejects. Rocket money currently has over 5 million users and has helped save its members an average of $720 a year with over $500 million in canceled subscriptions. They've helped me and I'm confident they'll do the same for you. That's rocketmoney.com slash rejects.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Your bank account will thank you. That's a good question. But they have a good relationship so far, but that doesn't mean anything to Chuckie. I'm super curious about what Jennifer Tilly's plan or what Tiffany's plan is with Nika. in the house right she's like i would rather be with you than chucky yeah and charles she's brought to charles family home creepiest thing i've ever seen but when she knocks him out it doesn't wake up as charles wakes up as nika so i'm so curious about that too what are the rules we know when when charles sees blood he turns into nika but what how do we get nika back into charles that will be
Starting point is 00:10:48 interesting to see I love if if the Dorff wasn't so talented this would suck it wouldn't work it would absolutely suck I agree with you 110% on that though her and Jennifer Tilly are both like chef's kiss which we need because the kids in this are kids still but it works because they are awkward kids you know and being that age is awkward and like having your first crush is awkward and going in for your first kiss is awkward. I love that this show didn't cast a bunch of 25-year-olds to play teenage. Because they're middle school. They are. They're young. They're 13, you know. And so, like, it should feel a little awkward. Jake should feel a little awkward. You know, and then, like, Lexi is just this confident queen. I'm just really loving all these
Starting point is 00:11:37 characters. I'm curious what ends up happening with Junior and Lexi. They've got to get back together, I would think. Wow, man, I'm invested. I'm invested across the board. Every story line every character. Nothing's pulling me away or out. Just really truly interested. There's so many people that we might kill off. I can't believe they killed off the mom. Once we knew she had stage four cancer, I thought like, oh, okay, so we'll see the progression, whatever. And the show was just like, no, ha, ha, boom. And they gave us, they gave us the, the reason I really saw it coming is the song choice, the words in it. It was like, yeah, they'd already done that. My heart, like, once my heart's free, I know it can like let go or whatever. And I was like,
Starting point is 00:12:17 oh, she has like let go saying like, and here we go. And I knew she was going to go right out that window. That shot of her face through the window was great. It was terrible, but it was a great shot. The fact that it lands on his car right in front of Jake's face is, I mean, yeah, Jake's face is, I mean, it's a lot. It's just, it's so horror-esque the way that they are delivering these things. And I really enjoy it because it still has that pop horror-esque fashion. to it. And especially with even the pickup, the crane shot at the very end of the mom after she fell
Starting point is 00:12:54 down the stairs and her spine is totally twisted. Like her arms are back. I mean, it was a great shot. I don't know how they set those shots up. It looked phenomenal. And I think them following that pop horror that we have loved from the first movie. And that's why we love it so much nine films in. You're saying as a genre, pop horror? Yeah, kind of like there. that's kind of what chucky chucky it finds a way to still make us laugh and give us that horror but it's not like it's like oh yeah all right we get some death stuff in here you know it's not like a ton of jump scares or where we're terrified it's more just like fun and scary and i love that i think that also we're watching um these two cousins in their story come about this it's really like i'm looking at
Starting point is 00:13:50 jake and in and junior it's kind of the center of this and there's so much room to grow um i think it this this on the pop horror thing this franchise has such a good job about is like really giving messages while also being so fun because we have all of the like you know who the f cares queer gender fluid doesn't matter like right in the And so this franchise embraces that. Then we also have some really serious deaths. I've always said this. You know, I think it's one thing to have dead people in your life.
Starting point is 00:14:21 It's another thing to be there the second somebody dies. It's completely different to see a dead body and to be with somebody from the second they're alive to the second they're dead. And Junior and Jacob both now have that where they've both watched. So Jacob with his dad as he gets electrocuted and he's there when his dad goes from alive to dead. and junior when his mom hits the shields from alive to dead it's just like watching these two enemies but they have so much lived experience that is similar i'm so curious where they go and we know that this show is going to be deep but we know it's going to be fun and that's like the perfect balance
Starting point is 00:15:01 and the other kid just watched from living to dead too his mom down the stairs and i just hit you sorry that's the exact same that devon exactly like you're there for the actual death not awake, not after, like just there's something that that does to your body when you're in a room with somebody who, who one second is there and one second is gone and you're that age. Agreed. That's why I feel like he's going to go after Lexi's parents with her there. I feel like he's going to leave them in the same boat to suffer and then take care of them or not. We got to have some, like Devin Sawa's character, I think, is safe. Yeah. So we know he's sticking around. And let, I don't know. Maybe mayor, the mayor and then. Where is Devin going to go?
Starting point is 00:15:48 The psychiatrist dad could be. Where's Devin going to go? I don't know. Because, I mean, they have to keep him around. Otherwise, I think that they're going to take, do you think that Devin Sawa is going to take him in? Yeah, because he was fighting with the wife before he's like, it's my brother. Like, what do you expect me to do? We can't not have.
Starting point is 00:16:10 Yeah, but the Devin kid is not related at all. to him. Oh, I'm so sorry. Yeah, I'm sorry. I was thinking about Jake. Yeah. Oh, oh, oh, oh. You know what I mean? Now Devin's an orphan. What's going to happen with him? That's true. That's true. I think that Jake is going to have to convince Sawa to say he's got nowhere to go, man, and he can't go into the foster system. Or maybe Lexi's mom tries to do it for good publicity or something. Oh, that's smart. Especially because we got to keep him in the fold. I agree. If we put him in the system, he's moving. and we need them on the show. We need them here.
Starting point is 00:16:45 Yeah. So many questions, so much to do in these two. And we know we have seasons to come. We better make it to season two. That's up to you guys. Sharing this and liking the crap out of it. Like we need like 8 to 10,000 likes. Like, come on now.
Starting point is 00:17:01 Every person who watches if you like, then I like you. We love you so much. Yeah, that's true. Do we have anything else we have to tell them, Tara? No, except that we love you. Get your shirts, like, comments, leave a like. share these videos so much love later rejects
