Thank you to Hewell for sponsoring this video. More on them in just a bit.
Go give it a look, and let's hop into the video.
Don't got much time to break this one down, but Andrew, what did you catch?
Well, obviously they pointed out that we saw that he was the guy from Karate Kid 3.
I don't know how you guys didn't recognize that either.
I don't know.
There's probably others.
But we don't have a lot of time here, but I really love this episode.
I think the biggest thing for me was the development of Robbie and Miguel's relationship.
I mean, they started off as major enemies just because of the animosity that Robbie fell towards Miguel
because he had the love that he always wanted from his father.
And I just love how just every season they've really been.
built towards, you know, enemy to enemy to finally that friendship we got in the last
season and the, again, the catharsis that they got in that conversation, you know,
and learning acceptance and how he gave him that real motivational pep talk. I think that's
what it takes to be a good friend on top of like being a good friend, but it's it's giving
that that good conversation that he needed to hear and that was really motivational. And I think
because his head was just not in the game, I know he complained specifically me about him
looking away towards Tori because his head wasn't right.
But I think that's what a good friend does.
You talk real shit to a friend, but also you give them that motivation to talk when he needs to hear.
And that's the one thing I really appreciated in this episode on top of all the great choreography, the music, Terry Silver and everything else.
What did you think, G?
I would be the G and the names here.
Yeah, I thought it was a really great one of this might be my favorite one of the final season so far.
are yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. It is. I'm willing. I want to take in the whole picture once everything is all sit and done. When's the final section come out?
It just said sometime in 2025. They did not give a specific date. Jesus Christ. Yeah. So whatever that comes out, I want to take in the whole picture. I'll probably watch both act one and two of this season six one beforehand. But as far as this episode goes, it was a really solid installment.
It's interesting to see how the Devon and Kenny think sort of resolved rather quickly after all the buildup that happened there.
And I guess the heart of it is really about Anthony and Kenny not really Devin.
So, yeah, we can move past that.
And he had a long flight to think about it.
It doesn't feel that long for when Johnny and Miguel are flying between Spain and America
because they seem to be traveling back and forth between conversations.
of they're happening in Spain all the time.
But I thought it was a really great, exciting episode.
And yeah, I agree with you, Andrew.
That moment with Robbie and Miguel is very significant.
And Robbie finding a center for himself and realizing that leadership is not about him.
It's about others was a really important thing.
That was something we were talking about in the last episode of why that look away starts feeling a little selfish because he's so fixated on himself and not thinking enough about the others around him and the team and the position that he held.
He still got the responsibilities, and he embodied all that, which I thought was great.
And Dimitri's kind of annoying me, and he's just really aggressively irritating, but maybe
he won't be that way anymore after it, because it was all coming from within the tension
that was happening with Hawk.
But I just think that it's a really exciting competition.
I think the way they've managed to weave in all this personal drama that's happening
off the mat to make the fights on the Maddick sign, because we were just watching
fight scenes, we'd just be watching fight scenes.
so to have really compelling personal life drama happening with every one of the characters
even if it's a little soap opera it enhances it like that that soap opera element enhances all the fighting that's going on
and it makes it more engaging to witness while getting some really cool choreography and it is an exciting thing to end your final season off on this
and to have that locker room talk that was great where it is this is our final moment this is our final season and
it was cool like andrew pointed out before they showed up about how johnny and danny
We're not in the room there, and I didn't even, like, think about that.
And it's really cool.
It just has you kind of reflect on how season one when this show first came on was, like, freaking Ralph Machio's returning.
We got Johnny Lawrence.
Whoa, karate kids returning.
And to get to this point where the best parts are not even with them and they're not bad, they're amazing.
It's just that there's just as strong.
and this is probably one of the best examples in Hollywood
of how to pass the torch in a way,
pass the torch in a legacy that doesn't feel forced.
I mean, you get six seasons to do it,
but it was in that moment that I really realized,
like this is the best legacy sequel thing I think I've ever seen
when you want to hand the baton off to a new cast
because you're not even thinking about like Johnny and Danny,
oh, I'm just so engrossed in what's happening with these guys,
like these are the main characters, you know?
So I thought it was really,
really cool. Robbie was awesome in this one.
Yeah, absolutely. You guys
have pretty much said it all. I love the emotional
qualities that this episode had. It got me teary-eyed a couple of times.
Some of those rousing come-together
moments were really great and the moments of tension
really hit as well and as you said, everything enhances what's going on
on the mat. The fights are just
you know, they've got that sense of punch and speed
and momentum that's so exciting.
And the frame rates too, like you pointed out, yeah.
Yeah, absolutely. Thank you to Huell for
sponsoring today's video now guys i'm going to give you all the god's honest truth of how this sponsorship
came to be sponsorship came to be we got contacted about basically partnering up with huel before we
agreed to anything the very first thing i said was i would like to try the product first i did a
instagram post on our real rejects one it was the first time you see me trying the huel product
basically going like hey we might not partner with them this is not a paid
instagram post but i just wanted to try it since a lot of you guys asked for like health recommendations now
and the know kind of what I take only because of the fact that I'm vegetarian, I have very limited protein options.
So I gave it a shot and ended up loving it.
Primarily the chocolate one.
Wow, this is really, this is a really great one.
One of the best things about it is that, yes, it's pre-packaged.
And a lot of times when it comes to, like, the prepackaged bottles, I'm not a big fan of them normally,
which he got me drinking on camera, is one of these, which takes a very long time to put together and can often get messy.
It's just not aesthetically pleasing, but I'm trying to pack like a lot of vitamins.
and fiber protein.
The best part about Hewell is a lot of what I try to pack into this one giant shake
is already available in this little bottle.
Often taste better than what I can actually assemble myself.
It actually tastes great.
It's got a high protein intake count as well.
And you know what?
Brad new bottle.
If you guys can see, it's filled to the top.
This is how good it tastes.
Now, normally, what you want to do is spread it out, but if you want it in one go, it's just as good.
It tastes really freaking good.
Thank you so much response from this video.
The one thing they want me to say is this is you can get 15% off Huell today with code Rejects at
huel.com slash Rejects.
Fuel your best performance with Huel today.
They are great, and I am already almost out of the many bottles they sent me.
If you guys do go check them out at Huel.com slash rejects.
You'll see they've got a whole bunch more items available as well.
and if they taste anything as good as this,
I'm going to be a very happy customer
for a very, very long time,
so join me on this health journey.
And, yeah, the convolution is just right.
It's like there's so many things happening
and you have all this history with crease and silver
and Johnny and Danny and all that stuff
and them, you know, sort of redirecting
the Terry Silver energy and crease
toward each other off the mat.
I thought it was a fun and clever idea
and just these different allegiances
of like, what's Kim Diann going to do
because she's clearly not fully in the cruise,
Creece Silver Camp, but she is somewhat in the Cree
Silver Camp. And
yeah, just like the stakes and the tension
and the emotion in those fights
was really easy to get wrapped up in.
And yeah,
I'm glad. Like, even the stuff
is like we were getting annoyed in the right
places with Dimitri and Hawk and the
deception surrounding Kenny
or the questions surrounding Kenny.
And then when he finally stepped in and just like
the nods to leadership and how Robbie
is able to both unlock his leadership position
but also like
handily foist Kenny into you know the proper light to unify the team was just really yeah it was really nice and graceful and it's like even if you can step back and be like oh yeah there's some things that are so proper there's some things that are over the top it's uh it's it's like it's really well mapped out or it's feeling really well mapped out in this chapter of the season this middle part act two of the final season I think has been been quite strong and each episode has gotten stronger the momentum has gotten higher and makes me curious what the rest of the
the season's going to be shaped like because this was such a crescendo and it was such a moment for them to
you know defeat cobra kai and now you know with one more episode in this chapter there's got to be
some shoe to drop yeah yeah agreed and last thing for me um now that we had robbie get his
awesome leadership moment where he was fighting whatever the bad guy's name is from a cobra kai who's
kwan uh mr class i'm curious because it feels like we're on a collision course with miguel and axel
just from all the looks he had and everything and also there was an nice
answer question when Miguel said, what's
going on? And Saman said, no, nothing, nothing's going
on, right? I feel like
possibly, again, I'm always wrong on my predictions
that Robbie, because only the
captain's fight in the final match, that possibly
Robbie could get hurt, and then
Miguel has to step in, maybe to fight in
against Axel. I'm curious if we're on a
collision course for possibly that to happen, so
we shall see. Must be. Yeah, yeah. We shall see.
Well, and are COBRA Kai going to find some
weird, Terry Silver made that loophole comments.
I'm like, is Kobe Guy, or the Iron
dragon is going to find some way to combine
with kobra kai to become the arch evil here just before the end yeah either way
exciting to see what's going to happen absolutely i can't wait absolutely cannot wait either guys
if you cannot wait leave us some comments in the box below how are you feeling here at the
precipice of season's end of the show's end and uh yeah we'll catch you on the next one for the final
episode of chapter two pieces chris whamma there's anyone who i
Would love to engage in a fist fight with.
It's Chris.
You know why?
Because he'd lose to make sure we look good.
That's true.
He's just that generous of a dude.
He would absolutely lose as long as it meant propelling us up in front of other people.
And he would be hyping you up the whole time you beating the shit out of him.
That's the thing about Chris.
He's encouraging you every step of the way, making you feel valuable.
Exactly.
He's just that generous of a guy.
and he's constantly about lifting other people up
so if we were to compete in a martial arts tournament
I'd hope I'd be going against you
because I know as I'm stomping my face
on your jaw dislocating it
teeth literally falling down your throat
you'd be smiling the whole time going
wow this is going to be a great memory one day
when you can remember it after waking up from the coma
you're going to have such a great time
rehabilitation all rehabilitation
should I remember your name and how a ride and spell
But your fiance
She might not even want to be with you afterwards
Because like will she really want to be
Like can you really see a future with the guy
But you would be kind enough to be like
No go out there
You know live your life
You deserve that
Don't let me hold you down
You'd be able to get out of that mouth of yours
Yes
That's your through the wire
I love that about you
I love that about you
And somehow you'd still find a way
To send $250 to $500 every single month
The Extreme Labs
Dude was right out of your medical insurance
I think you'd probably get some sweet, sweet dough you could throw our way with all that money.
That's Wolk, see, that's the thing, is Chris, during the fight bet on you to win, and then put all the money in your name.
That's how good of a guy he is.
He's like, I know I'm going to lose this, but not only am I going to make Greg look good, I'm going to pad his pockets in the process.
That's a genius.
Look at you, Chris.
You're like the most diabolical Robin Hood in the whole dang world.
Ah, Chris Whamma, Christopher, Christian Crispy.
You be safe out there, and hopefully you remember this when you wake up.
