Starting point is 00:01:02 It's a nasal allergy spray that I've been a loyal customer to for quite some time now. Tell you more about them and just a little bit, Reject Nation. Okay. Are you ready to watch the post-credits curse of Chucky scene and then watch the Cult of Chucky movie? Yes. Okay. Here we go. Okay.
Starting point is 00:01:27 All right. All right. I got so many things to say to you right now. I got so many things to say to you. But before I do, if you guys are listening on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, make sure you give us that five star. If you're watching on YouTube, don't forget to comment. Let us know how you're feeling about this.
Starting point is 00:01:42 If you're like, I want to see more she-jacks all the time. We're doing Nightmare on Elm Street right now. Yeah. We already did the Purge franchise. We'll be moving on to Friday 13th soon. So we got a lot going on. And in case you are watching Nightmare on Elm Street, We made the biggest faux paul that's ever made on this channel.
Starting point is 00:02:00 You're not going to want to miss our A Nightmare on Elm Street, the reboot, whenever that comes out. Should be in a few, a couple weeks. The 2010 version should be very soon. We thought we were watching Nightmare on Elm Street 5. I clicked the wrong thing. We watched the whole thing thinking it was 5. It wasn't. That is in fact what happened, Tara.
Starting point is 00:02:19 But, okay, we just watched Cult of Chucky. This is, what, the seventh movie in this franchise? I think. I hope. I mean, there's so many. I think it is seven. Another winner. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:32 What the hell? This franchise doesn't miss. Like, I saw some people in the comments saying that they feel like they didn't love or appreciate seed or curse as much or bride even. Okay. We loved all of those. And then this one completely switches it up again. I would say this one was the freakiest. There was the most real life stakes here.
Starting point is 00:02:54 Like, we had evil humans, right? I know that Charles E. Ray, they put him in Chucky, so that's an evil human, too. But here, like, the doctor, like, that's the real shit that happens in the world that you're really afraid of. Or something really happening and people not believing you all around you, being in the psych ward. Like, these were all very, if this one felt the most sterile because of the white walls and the location. And other than, like, there was some jokes thrown in there, but the most freaky deaky to me. How did you feel? I mean, I loved it.
Starting point is 00:03:27 I thought that the fact that they now, that the cult of Chuckie stays true to its name, and Chuckie can just in the doll do his little, blah, blah, blah, and there they are, there's multiple of them. And then especially when it, when it switches into her, what is her name? Jennifer Tilley. No, no, no. Fiona.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Fiona, when Fiona becomes, I don't know her name. I don't. I think that's actress's name. Yeah, yeah, that's her actress's name. But when she switches from being her, being in this position, paralyzed in the psych ward, I thought she was like, I don't believe this. I'm going to tell him the right thing so I can get out of here. That was kind of, kind of true, but then kind of not.
Starting point is 00:04:07 And once it all comes together where she's like, it's Chucky. And the reveal of Chucky getting into her, she did such a wonderful job of just that switch that I really believed her. and she just got like her hair got sex here and she was like this is and then her and the Jennifer Tilly kiss at the end saying like well this is different like this script couldn't get any more fun for me especially in that dialogue that we both thought was hilarious of like oh no bro you got a handle go fuck them out real good because of your hair yeah yeah yeah that was just fire and also I thought also the the artistic quality in the shots and and the the snow falling and the
Starting point is 00:04:50 glass falling and the head's being cut off and stomping the head like amazing practical and special effects. Bravo. Yeah. Brad is his name Brad Dorff? Yeah. Brad Dorff does such a great job vocally in every single one of these that like I did feel the distinctions between the different Chuckies. What I will say moving forward though is for one movie, I think this is a really fun premise. There can be everybody can be Chuckie. I could be Chuckie. You could be Chuckie. You could be any of the adults could be chucky any of the kids alice could be chucky any of the dolls can turn into chucky anything in two legs can be chucky but i don't know if moving forward i want that to continue to be the rules as much because i feel like it's really cool for one maybe two movies
Starting point is 00:05:34 but the the scary part about chucky is it's just one you don't know where he's coming from you know and like if anything and anybody could be chucky then all movie every movie i'm just going to be guessing is that a chucky is that a chucky is that a chucky you know like and i don't want that but for this movie you know and i don't want that but for this movie it was original and different. We haven't seen that yet. We've seen Chuckie try to get in people's bodies, but we haven't seen him successfully be multiple Chuckys at once,
Starting point is 00:05:57 multiple places. And when we start the movie and we see Chuckie's head at Andes, I'm thinking to myself, how is this going to be a Chucky movie? He's captured. So what are we going to do? And they, like, found this cool take this way to do it. But I'm hoping that moving forward.
Starting point is 00:06:13 I don't know how many more movies we have. Me neither. But I, like, if we get to watch the series, I'm hoping that it's not just, You get a Chuckie and you get a Chuckie and everybody's Chuckie, you know? I assume not. I assume this is probably a one-hit wonder where they play with that idea because I do agree with you.
Starting point is 00:06:28 It would be way to like, well, who's going to kill who and wait, is Chuckie here and here and here? It wouldn't really adhere to that horror aspect of knowing like, because then you would just be like, wait, who's going to kill who versus like a jump scare of Chuckie coming at you. We don't know when he's going to bite or move. that is a little more intriguing from a horror aspect.
Starting point is 00:06:52 But this one for the one hit wonder in the aspect of everyone being Chucky, Bravo. I mean, I loved it. And just the way that it was also shot, it was shot beautifully, the very intentional choice to make everything white and clean,
Starting point is 00:07:09 which is such a contrast to the bloody gore that we especially get into at the end, I think that you can... And Chucky's colors just in general, striped red hair like he's such a bright character and this was like white yes and he he starkly like uh shines out from all of that but i also think artistically when you think red against white that you're making that choice very intentionally
Starting point is 00:07:35 prior to shooting of like it's all going to be very sterile and very white because once we get into the red i love that i just think it's such it's there's such a thought behind it and i appreciate that because it does make for some beautiful shots. Let me see what I can tell you about this movie. Yeah. I don't know what I can tell you about this movie, but I'm going to see what I can tell you about this movie. She's going to check it out.
Starting point is 00:07:59 I love the name of this one too, by the way. I love the name of all them because they tell you exactly what the movie is. Yes. Like each one of them. Okay, so this was 2017. So not that long ago, which makes sense. And let's see what I'm going to IMDB for some. Fun trivia.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Okay. Chuckie compares one of the other Chuckie dolls to Hannibal Lecter, adding, can't believe they cancel that show. Writer, director, Don Mancini wrote two episodes of Hannibal during its third
Starting point is 00:08:30 and unexpectedly final season. That's great. That's why that's such a good Easter egg there. That's a great one. That's good. Don Mancini claims that Andy is well off financially because of the insurance money he received from the murders
Starting point is 00:08:44 he was involved in as a child. Oh, that makes sense. That's why he had like a lair. Dope log cabin with millions of weapons. Okay. In February 2018, it was announced that Child's Play television series was in the works with involvement from series creator Don Mancini and producer David Kersner and would be a continuation of the stories from the films.
Starting point is 00:09:06 Oh, the films. Okay. Mancini also stated that as well as a series, feature films will still continue in the future. Okay, so maybe we have checked for years. I love hearing that. When that was started in 2018, yes, in February 2018. That's not too long ago. That means that these guys are still working together in the recent history.
Starting point is 00:09:24 That's great. Okay, guess how many Jennifer Tilly shot her scenes in just blank amount of days during the last... During this one? Yeah. One day. Six. Six? Oh.
Starting point is 00:09:35 Well, she was in multiple locations. That's true. That's true. But I was like, she could have done it. Okay. You weren't as impressed by that. Asked a pro and go. It's faster, bro.
Starting point is 00:09:45 Ladies and gentlemen, I got so excited. They know I got excited when they wanted to partner up with us yet again. And let me tell you why. I see a couple months ago when we were first approached by them for our first sponsored agreement, I wanted to try them out before agreeing to do a sponsorship with them. Reason being is because I get terrible allergies. Roxy Stry, whenever she shows up here, usually points it out because she happens to catch me on the days when my allergies are acting up. And on top of that, too, I have a deviated septum.
Starting point is 00:10:15 so I often have a difficult time breathing through my right nostril. I'm a person who needs a nasal allergy spray. Needless to say, didn't mean to rhyme bars! And when I used Astopro, I fell in love. I really believe in this allergy spray. They sent me over that one sample. So the bottle you see in my hand, I don't know what number of bottles is that I personally bought myself.
Starting point is 00:10:37 So please, let me tell you a little bit more about them. Asapro is the first of its kind nasal allergy spray, and it is the fastest 24-hour over-the-counter allergy. spray. It starts working in 30 minutes while other allergy sprays, they take hours. It's the first and only 24-hour steroid-free allergy spray. You can go to Asapro allergy.com for a discount so you can use Astopro and go. A-S-T-E-P-R-O-Alogy.com. It's faster, bro. I love it. I say it every time I pick up my bottle. Buying via through our link is also a fantastic way to support the channel, lets you know that we were the ones who directed you there. I really do believe in them. I've been buying them myself. I heavily vouched for them, rejagnation.
Starting point is 00:11:46 Give him a shot. Thank you. Two weeks before the film was officially released, the film was leaked in its entirety to Twitter and YouTube. In response to the leak, Don Mancini tweeted to the geniuses who leaked cult of Chucky and tweeted about it. Congrats. Not only are you terrible people. Now universal lawyers know who you are.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Alex Vincent stated that he didn't understand the logic since the movie would be available to watch on Netflix. People are the worst. Like, why would you do that? Yeah, like, I get it. But like, unless they literally tweeted it the day it came out on Netflix, no, you shouldn't be, you shouldn't be doing it downright. Forget about it. But it's because you're giving free content to thousands of people, like people worked on this. Thousands of people work on these films.
Starting point is 00:12:36 They put their heart, blood, sweat, and tears. It's so hard to make a film. And you're just going to be like, here you go. People still have to pay to get on Netflix. you could be a person here's the knowledge behind it not everybody has Netflix if you really love trucking you know it's coming on Netflix and you're going to sign up for Netflix so you could see this movie sometimes that juice happens and then you're giving you're giving support to the film so there's my juice on that people feel so entitled nowadays yeah to just have free stuff right
Starting point is 00:13:03 it's our job it costs thousands and thousands of dollars and time millions but like thousands of like hours too and just people this okay just for me and you to know so we watched child's play we watch child's play two child's play three bride of chucky seat of chucky curse of chucky cult of chucky so this was our seventh we only have one movie left and it's the re it's just called child's play in 2019 oh it's recent it's like a reboot that might be a reboot i don't know but it's called it's called child's play okay so that's interesting i wonder how we feel about that also I believe there's a show like it said so yes and I know you guys have been commenting you want us to move on to the series you've said that it's very good we want to do that for sure I mean if
Starting point is 00:13:52 these videos keep doing well and we watch the next one I'm sure they will send us into the series I think we both would love to watch it if you've made it this far then I know I'm preaching to the choir but just so you guys know it's not just about how many of you watch the videos it's about the watch time for the videos so a big thing here at real rejects is watch the duration of something So if you've made it to the end of this, you are the real ones. But we need to make sure that we keep our time up here for the Sheejects because if we do that, then we can be like, yo, Greg, let us watch the show. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:14:24 You guys got to watch these reactions all the way through. Just leave them running in the background. If you don't want to listen to everything, if you've already seen the movie. Or listen to every word because we're so important. We matter. And I did a good purge in here. If you don't know where it's at, you got to just, you'll figure it out. Did you think it was good, but?
Starting point is 00:14:40 It was decent. It was fine. I want you to watch it back. It was all right. You know, I mean, I'd grade D, not an F. That's what it was. It was a grade D of a purge. And, you know, I'll get to an A at one point.
Starting point is 00:14:56 I believe in you. Yeah, me too. Wow, you know it's towards the end of the reaction because we're both leaned this way. Like, why? You're leaning. I'm leaning. Any final thoughts on Colt of Chuckie? I loved it.
Starting point is 00:15:11 I just, I love it. I love this series. I love how supportive you guys are and how like in, you're just in the comments and you're giving us all the love and the support. And we love it. And we do go through the comments and we really appreciate you guys watching this, supporting us. We do adore the heck out of you.
Starting point is 00:15:28 I can't believe how much they like us. It's the first time in my life I've felt genuinely liked. Yeah. Right? What if we did a cult of rejects in the cult of Chuck? Oh, that's good. We're coming up with. We're coming up with some she-jacks gear in there.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Tara came up with something absolutely sick. I can't tell you anything else about it. Just letting you know. We'll see, but Roxy also had some good juice coming your way. We got things going on. Like kind of a fashion line for the rejects that we're trying to get, we're getting rolling there. We've got to get some samples first.
Starting point is 00:15:59 Yeah, because let's hear for the she-jacks out there. We hear a lot of you are chikas. Let's go, babes. We like the dudes too. Whatever. We love you all. We're getting juice for. both of you. And we hear what you guys are saying. That's how you know we watched the post credit
Starting point is 00:16:15 scene because you guys told us. So thank you to you. And this was the unrated version. Yes. We were guaranteed. We know unrated and then we've got the post credits. We almost loved that too. We didn't. We didn't. Not this time. We appreciate you guys. Anything else you need to tell the people, Tara? No, just I love you guys. Yeah, I'm with you. And we'll see you next time, Rejects.
