This week's videos are sponsored by an app that I've been using since before we've even partnered with them.
And that app is Rocket Money.
More on them after the reaction people.
Tara the Brown.
Yeah.
Are you ready?
My little golden globe.
I am.
Dudes.
Dudes.
I love that.
If you're listening to us on Apple and Spotify, we just watch Descendants 3.
Trace.
that was awesome it was so good that's my personal favorite one terra i agree i think it started
out a lot faster than all the rest of them we got right into the action we have no patience
we really don't you just got to get right to it and then bam we're like we're satisfied yeah and
haydies is your dad what shut up love that reveal who were the others dads though well we're
gonna find out we've been one okay so here's the deal of what happened i'm gonna give you a
heads up before we start reviewing descendants three properly okay so the next one is called that
that hasn't come out yet okay or maybe by the time this comes out it's uh i don't know it's uh descendants
rise of red that's the new one rise of red okay the original cast is not back
because when cameron died yeah they didn't want to return without them sad i get it and uh but
apparently it's still a good one okay and uh there's a trailer out and people say
The trailer looks great, and it's a, it's a continuation.
It's not a reboot.
Oh.
So it's just going to follow a new set of characters, some returning characters.
Okay.
But this story of our core four is complete.
Forever.
It's complete now.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
It's wrapped up.
And I think it's great because you want to honor the core four.
Yeah, I would want to honor him too.
It wouldn't make sense to return without him.
It would feel weird.
It would feel very weird.
So I don't know who's going to be in the next one, but it is a continuation.
They're not doing any of replacement actors.
And as far as this goes as a continuation, I thought this was a lot of fun.
It gave me that feeling that, like, those high school musical movies gave me of just, like, corny as hell song numbers, but are so, like, take it so seriously cool that you're just like, yeah, I'm jamming with you.
That number with the nights, brilliant.
The song was so much more epic and badass than what was visually happening.
on screen in the fight scene they were acting like in the lyrics that this fight was like it was
like brave hearts they're like all odds against us yeah
the choreography just got even weird and i'm not even sure how they won i don't really know what
happened me neither they just they put them to sleep the spell yeah okay so they did that
and then the song with the one kiss the true loves kiss that one was the one that was like
so outrageously like big and and also corny and i loved
It was especially funny when you started dying
when you're like, she's going outside.
Because she was, it was like,
you're just supposed to kiss the guy.
We already figured it out.
But it was like just so epic.
She goes outside to like transform more of her thoughts
and think it through.
And like, is he going to kiss me back?
Does he love me?
Does he not?
It was great.
That was brilliant.
Oh man, the song with the Hades and Mal.
Like a cool rock and roll song.
Cool duet.
And, yeah, I think this, I just think the song is really, I think the closing number of the last movie when they're in the water is probably my favorite closing number of them all.
Yeah, that one was good.
But I'm gonna look up.
I'm DB where you're saying that.
What about it?
Well, just like the, the trivia, right?
Okay, I guess we'll do that.
Yeah.
I didn't know you were going to do that.
It's throwing me off my talking.
Sorry, keep talking.
I'll try to keep talking.
God, you would think he knows how to, like, multitask, right?
That's not.
Not with the way you're looking these days.
Oh, God.
That's funny.
But, yeah, the full circle.
My one criticism about it is this whole thing with the, like, I love the ending moments when it came to the barrier.
I was like, they had me sold that the movie was going to end to it.
I guess they're just going to keep the barriers shut.
Totally.
I agree.
Because we didn't bring it up for like 20, for like a good 25 minutes.
I forgot about it.
Yeah.
It was such like a long stretch of the movie.
I forgot about it.
And I think where the movie needed was a little bit of time with that decision to see how it's like affecting.
Because I didn't even know if the decision was set in stone.
Like mouse seems like she's, I have a decision to make.
Here's a suggestion.
and then it was like a day that went by it wasn't like a long time you know right and and i think
it was treated like it was a long time really it was like i thought you just had a discussion
about doing it i don't think it was we haven't seen like any negative effects of it because it's
been a day you know right so yeah that was like the one part about it where i thought it was a little
undercut by that and i just kept kind of questioning it but uh bringing everything full circle
like with Uma.
Oh, yeah, that was awesome.
She was awesome.
I thought she was great in it.
She was really, really good.
And I love Hook.
I love him a lot.
I'm glad that they finally just found a way to bring, like, the Ile, the VKs together with Ordon.
Because I am not joking when I say that Orandon does get a little boring.
It's a little too perfect.
And I am very interested if the Rising of Red means like the Rising of Red or kind of villain-esque stuff,
maybe in Oradon because
not that bad stuff would happen
but maybe it will. I don't know.
It would make it entertaining.
I like that.
And I really like the bromance
between I don't know his name
and the other guy.
Jay and Son of Guston.
I forgot his name. Yeah.
That was a lot of fun.
One of my favorite scenes was when they
bonded over the Barry's thing
where they're realizing they're not that different
just because they come from two different places.
and that was the one time that we actually got a scene that was like that
where they're finally understanding each other
besides Uma and our lead girl
they do have a couple of those conversations where it comes to light
but other than that we didn't get many
conversations that sort of stopped and just listen
and watch them realize that they're not that much different at all
and they kind of fall in love with this this bromance
they took their time on that probably a little more
more time than showing the repercussions of the aisle realizing that the barrier may be gone
forever, to be honest, you know, and we, if they took two minutes to show the spread of that
news on the aisle, it might have become a bigger deal to us when she decides to keep it open
forever.
Yeah.
So some of the choices in here are funny.
I'd be surprised if they were like, we cut that out to save time.
That would be weird.
But I liked this one the most, too, because it moved the quickest for me.
Reject Nation, when I heard that this company wanted to partner up with us yet again,
I was so enthusiastic about it.
Reason being, I had already been using their product for well over a year by the point
we first ever collaborated with them.
So the fact that we get to have this ongoing partnership just makes me a happy camper.
And that is, of course, for the app, Rocket Money.
Now, if you guys don't know what Rocket Money is, don't want.
worry. I got you covered. I'll tell you about them in just a little bit. But before that,
I wanted to share with you guys why I love this app so much. It's actually a very personal
reason. You see, like many of you guys, I too grew up in a home where money did not come easily,
needless to say. The predominant conversation in my family household was undoubtedly about
financial struggle, financial worry. And that does a number on you. So it certainly
seeped into my adulthood when I was trying to learn how to become financial.
financially independent. And to this day, as someone who talks a lot about working as mental health,
who's proudly going to therapy, no matter how much lack we might have in money one day,
or how much success we might have in money sometimes, I still have to have this ongoing
conversation about my relationship with money. I'm half Filipinos. My mom's always talking to me
about taxes to this day. I think, though, it does start with how you manage the finances you currently
have. See, before I ever acquired any type of reasonable living money, I heard someone speak about how
You have to learn what to do with a dollar now.
Essentially, the talk was about don't wait until you have, like, a bunch of money
and then start figuring out what to do with it afterwards, like you got a bunch of toys to play with.
If you want to acquire more in life, you have to first figure out what you're going to do with what you currently have.
And that's why I love this app.
It's applicable for any financial stage you are at in life.
Come to think about it, it would have been very beneficial for me when I was in a real struggle boat years ago.
So in summary, as someone who is constantly having an ongoing working relationship with how to have,
handle money, Rocket Money has helped make that relationship a lot healthier in my life.
So what are they if you don't know what they are? What they are is a personal finance app that
simplifies managing money by canceling unnecessary subscriptions, lowering your bills, and
crafting a budget that fits your specific lifestyle. I'm telling you, Reject Nation, there's no
greater feeling than when you look at the following month and you see that, oh my God, I have
saved money. I've spent less and progress equals happiness. The best part is Rocket Money does a
lot of the heavy lifting by analyzing your spending, then customizes notifications to stay within your
budget goals. It's not just about saving money. It's about actively seeing and feeling your financial
progress. And one of my favorite qualities about their service, too, is when it comes to monthly
subscriptions. We've been blessed to be able to expand the team and hire more people, but with that
in mind, that also comes with a lot more expenses. So as this business has been growing, having to track
exuberant amount more has been just as important. So now I have to track a lot of these business
expenses, then I got to track my own personal finances. So in general, it's already been helping
out a lot with that. But as you want to make things more efficient, you often find yourself
signing up for a lot of apps for free trials that you quickly forget about. Next thing you
know, you're paying a hefty fine for it. I'm sure, even if you don't have a YouTube channel,
there's some way you can relate with that. You see, because they track your monthly subscriptions
and they make it super easy to cancel the ones you do not use. A couple of clicks, and you're
putting money back into your pocket. So if you're like me, you found hidden subscriptions or
pay for services that you totally forgot about.
Rocket money was a lifesaver in uncovering those and even negotiated some of my bills to
about, like I'd say, down by 20%.
So if you want to join me on this journey of consistently taking care of your finances,
do not want to start later.
The best time is to start right now.
So please do yourself a favor.
Check out Rocket Money and see how much you too can be saving.
That way you can stop wasting money on things you don't use.
Believe me, when it came with my accountant and tax season, that was a really big note.
Visit rocketmoney.com slash rejects.
They've helped me, and I'm confident they'll do the same for you.
That's rocketmoney.com slash rejects.
Your wallet will thank you.
Because Rocket Money has over 5 million users
and has saved a total of $500 million
and canceled subscriptions,
saving members up to $740 a year
when using all of the app's features.
So a great way to support your lifestyle
and a great way to support the channel
is by going and downloading the Rocket Money app yourself.
And if it does help you, please go ahead, draw me a message.
I'd love to hear if there's some way by just conveying this message, it has helped you out too.
Thank you, Reject Nation.
I thought it was the cleanest one.
I thought it was like there's really no fat.
Probably could have used a little bit of the fact because of that one barrier thing, but it had no fat.
And just the, yeah, I thought every scene was engaging and everyone had great chemistry.
Like everyone had great chemistry.
You're going to take the two pirates, the three pirates put them together with our main gang.
You're going to want some chemistry.
And I thought that that was edited really well.
was really funny like I think the last one lost a lot of that humor and became a little bit more
dramatic which is fine but I thought this had a good balance of both I think this this was like
not maybe not as funny as the first one but it was still really funny at times I agree and it was
exciting it was like a really exciting big movie I thought it was a blast of a film and as a
trilogy just wrapping up a whole story with starting off with these kids who are from this part of
the land where they are punished for their parents.
Yeah.
Like, it's not their fault.
And to have this ultimate lesson going back can come from Ordon too and good could
come from over there and to say like there's no need to punish them anymore.
Right.
Like there's never need to punish them to begin with.
So let's just welcome them over here now.
And I thought that was like a great.
Like they literally wrapped up like, I can't think of a storyline they didn't wrap up.
No, they wrapped up every.
Every storyline from like one and two.
They did an excellent job at doing that.
I agree.
I feel like there's probably something I'm missing,
but as far as I'm like,
even bringing back Audrey from the first movie
with the ex-girlfriend stuff
and then them even apologizing to her at the end.
Like, yeah, she deserved an apology too.
It's kind of dickish the way that was handled.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
I like that.
I wanted to read just like a few little trivia
because I think it was cute that minutes before,
this is super sweet.
The premiere of the Descendants 3,
Dove Cameron admitted that she,
Sophia Carson and Boo Boo Boo Stewart sent messages of love
to Cameron Boyce in their group text chain
saying that they loved him.
That's very sweet.
So let's see.
As I'll read one more that has like
a bunch of likes, I don't know what it says,
as well as the appearance of the four main VKs,
including Mal's mother, Maleficent,
who makes no appearance in Descendants 3.
As a human or a lizard, Lonnie,
who's the daughter of Milan,
is the only character in the trilogy
who does not appear in this film due to scheduling conflicts
with her actress Diane Donne,
which upset several fans
who Lonnie had been a favorite character of,
especially after her role in descendants, too.
It also was hinted that her and J.
Could become a couple.
That is something that they did not wrap.
Exactly. And there was no explanation for her absence.
Some sites stated that Lonnie had been busy
on the professional R-O-A-R-R-Tee for the Northern Way.
I don't know. I don't know.
That is a good point.
Okay, that is a storyline that didn't wrap up.
One spoiler.
At the end of the movie, Harry asked Evie, so she's definitely taken, referring to Mal.
Off screen, the actors that play Harry and Mal had been dating going on two years at the time of filming.
Really? Hook and Mal?
I love that because they're both super hot.
Duh, of course, that would be a thing.
Wow.
How I love this trivia.
The actress that play Harry, and he is Harry, Hook, right?
And Mal had been dating going on two years at the time of filming.
amazing I love that I love it so much I love watching the evolution of their dancing I think
the story wise those are good facts yeah oh my god she got to date Hulk you guys don't I'm like
basically in love with him like what he's so adorable he's a great actor too even Carlos's storyline
with that one girl the love that they found yeah it's great it's so good there's a really
strong trilogy I agree like you kind of have to watch all three yeah yeah and like them bringing it up
that we didn't see Mulan's daughter.
I would understand why fans would be upset,
but all my memory, I don't remember.
I honestly wasn't thinking about her.
I wasn't at all because I had, like,
I had forgotten, so I was okay with it.
I was pulled into what was happening.
It would have been cool to Sierra, but I was okay.
Yeah, I think the one thing this movie is kind of missing,
and maybe because the theme of it was in that one plot point
where we keep talking about,
I think the first two movies do a great job of the theme of it really being layered
throughout the movie.
and I feel like the theme is there in the plot
but it's maybe not as
at the forefront
of, you know, the whole thing of
you can, there's good in order
there's good in the aisle and bad and
in Ordon as well. Like that
being part of the learning lesson. Right.
To also not be like living yourself
caged in fear. Right. I kind of feel like
some of that was a little missing. But still
it was still like the most fun. I had a lot of fun
with this one. Guys, what would you rank
this? Where would you rank Descendants
three? Are you excited for
descendants rise of red i am leave a like subscribe bring the bow
tell tera how much you like her she jacks gear and my golden cloud even though i need to make
it glow more on my legs i get it i did it last night and just you know sometimes we fail at
things and this was a clear representation of some of my failures in life i'm okay with it looks
Better on camera.
Yep.
He hates me in person.
In person.
Repugnant is what I say.
Terrible.
Anyway.
I guess that's it.
I'll just go bury my face in a pillow.
