Scotty doesn't know. Scotty doesn't know. But you know what we do know. I don't think
Prepper. We're coming down these highlights because we're definitely going to need it.
After watching Euro Trip, the unrated version of the film.
So, Greg, how are you feeling?
I'm feeling, I'm feeling good.
That was a fun movie.
It was about what I expected.
Yeah, I would say.
A raunchy comedy.
Weirdly, a little more raunchy that I actually expected it to be in terms of, like, how much nudity and stuff there was.
Even with it being unrated?
Surprisingly, yeah.
really i think it's like i don't know it's been a long time so i've seen like american pie or any of that
this feels like is american pie more nudity i thought there's way more this is actually more than
american pie yeah like it exceeds that by like a mile yeah no i thought so like as i was watching
like it was actually a pretty good amount here but it commits um i could see how it became like
a cult comedy classic and uh there are some bits in here i will never forget that were flat out
hilarious yeah and yeah i mean i think like in the first 20 to 30 minutes
there's like there's a difference here sometimes you're watching stuff without a camera
pointed at you at home and and you're like i'm just sitting back and it's okay if i'm not really
laughing and then we have a camera point you're kind of like uh i feel like i should i should
be laughing more or something like that feel the pressure to laugh you're like it's not that
funny to me like it's funny it's fun but like it's it's a
musing but i'm not like finding it hilarious uh outside like a few jokes but then it might have
been around the robot dance part or the movie just started clicking for me as like this series
of sketches throughout europe they kind of feel like they came over like what funny bits can we do
in europe and little sketches and then they strung it together with a plot 100% you know yeah
which the plot worked well enough for character like there were some moments that surprised me with
some attention to character
like the friend giving up
the brother twin giving up the camera
yeah that surprised me
him getting a tour guy job
like they actually paid it off
the obvious arc
with the main guy Scotty
being able to
get the girl
but I love how offensive it is
and I love how fun
and I thought it was a really funny movie
but yeah you know
it's not like
to me the greatest thing in the world or something
but it did its job it's fun it's a funny comedy movie yeah it's a funny comedy movie yeah i can agree
it was a nice light watch on a saturday you know got some got some butts got some
some sexual harassment got some uh got some substance humor which was fun yeah i thought
this was a apt early 2000s comedy right in that vein of a
American Pie and I haven't seen Van Wilder but I imagine like in that sex comedy group and I feel
like it definitely served that purpose and I think it made me excited to check out stuff in Europe
even if it was like this heightened version of not what actual places like but places like
Amsterdam and in France and England to some extent I was like yeah this seems like a lot of fun
I would maybe not want this exact experience but certain certain things I would be curious
to explore, you know, definitely not a dungeon where I'm getting like three-pronged in the
bum. That's, that's not ideal. But, you know, I'm sure there's a lot of other really cool
stuff in Amsterdam, you know. You know, we got colorful drinks and yeah, yeah, hostels with cats.
This seems fun. I don't know, man. I think it's cool. It was cool getting to see like a different
sense of the culture, even though that's not the purpose of the film, getting to
see the variety of the type of funds that you can have but yeah i like the characters well enough
but they made me laugh i think the two deep the two lead guys were were pretty funny and like
why we've not seen them in more things is there a euro trip too i don't know but i'd watch it
you know it's not it's not the the deepest movie but that's not what it's trying to do it's not
trying to tell this you know this really compelling story wants to make you laugh or giving you a setting
maybe you're not accustomed to watching American films, especially American comedy.
And I would say by those metrics, it succeeded, especially in this unrated version where they really took
advantage of that relinquishing of certain standards they have to adhere by to play in theaters.
Yeah.
Yeah, I was like, okay, I'm with it.
I'm with it.
What about you, man?
What's your favorite place you'd want to go?
Rejignation, fun fact, fantasy football is now a part of my life.
Why?
Because my wife and her friends.
are obsessed with it. So I'm constantly hearing about things I've never heard about before,
like who's getting benched, who's a sleeper pick, and why someone's entire weekend was ruined
over a bad play. And at this point, I figured might as well support my wife the extra mile and
getting in there myself. And that's why I want to think prize picks. And my wife will tell you,
I'm not the sharpest tool in the show when it comes to stuff like this, but price fix is the
easiest way to play daily fantasy sports. No complicated drafts, no long-term commitments.
You just pick two to six players, decide if they'll get more or less, then their stat projections,
like passing yards, points, or rebounds, sports terms, and if you get it right, you win.
It's that easy, and it's quick.
You can make your picks in under a minute, way less stressful than managing a full fantasy team.
And you don't need to be a hardcore sports fan either.
Believe me, you don't, whether you casually follow games or go full deep dive mode.
It's fun either way.
And the flex play.
Flex play means you can still win, even if you miss one.
One pick, so it's not all or nothing.
And here's the best part.
Prize Picks is available in most states, including this lovely state, California, Texas, Georgia, so it's so easy to jump in.

You're sponsored in this video.
That of the places we saw.
You're like a tour guide for the review.
I would.
I guess I'd love to go.
I mean, it's Amsterdam.
undoubtedly Amsterdam looks like the best.
I mean, I would never.
I'm a very loyal man to my wife.
Of course.
So I would never do anything of that sort.
But, you know, the brouties.
Like the actual brown, not the,
not the regular brownies.
You know, the fun brownies.
brownies the fun brownies the canals and stuff i mean they don't go to italy here um wait i go to rome yeah
i'm stupid spaghetti spaghetti but i mean i'd love to go to italy but amsterdam has always sounded
like the best i just feel like it's the vibe of just i think you could like chill and take in beauty
at the same time yeah i feel like everywhere else that kind of be on the go a little bit you want to do
like an itinerary kind of thing yeah that's why i said i would go to london first just to kind of knock off
like the busy thing first i thought there's fun to have be had in london like i always wanted to
you know have beans and their breakfast and they're they're they go in the bars
beans thing i don't know though yeah do they have beans for breakfast over there i didn't know that
yeah man there's so much i don't know apparently their food's not as good but that's their
that's their thing they like beans with their toast in their oh okay trumpets and stuff
no weirdly did do a good job at uh letting us i mean i was fascinated kind of by the behind
the scenes metric of it of like oh in a marketing standpoint it's smart because you're able to like
appeal an american movie to european audiences and appeal to u.s audiences as well the um business side
of like hey this is a great excuse for us to go kind of travel europe i wonder if every part was
shot in every part of europe that they're in because the movie does a good job at selling you there
Except when they're in London.
When they're in London,
that was one problem
like this looks fake,
right,
in the background.
But the other parts
felt possibly real.
Like they had to have shot
some of this
in actual Europe.
Maybe,
I don't know.
Movies can do a good job
of tricking my mind.
There were some fun.
The cameos in here
were the best to me.
Like Matt Damon's cameo
was pretty funny.
And it's like the cameo
itself is not like,
Koi is like,
it's the greatest Matt Damon cameo ever.
It's a very impactful cameo
for what it serves.
That's like it's one random
scene of this like mega star matt dame and just doing a cover uh lip singing and scotty doesn't know
but the scy doesn't know song is such is the theme song of this movie 100% so and it became
such an iconic song that i didn't realize was from this movie and to so you're like oh that's
kind of cool that mad dame we got to have like such a lasting impact because he's the one singing
it the context of what it means to the character of scotty is kind of neat so understanding why
because i always knew the mat daming there's like a matt damon cameo in here but i didn't
what the mad damon cameo was so to see the movie and know why it's it has time i is it's not the
impact of it is not because it's like the most hilarious matt damon cameo uh it's it's because it
actually feeds the narrative and the theme song of the entire experience of europe trip yeah so that
was kind of a cool experience to discover for um oh that's that's why matt damon is so a big part
of it and yeah i think there's a i don't know like i think i think i think i think i
think just because something's like kind of a raunchy comedy doesn't mean it it can't like
double down on some I think that's why the judd apatow era was like so big at a certain point
with set rogan and judd apatow like 40 old virgin knocked up super bad was because of that extra
layer that they brought to and wedding crashers even that even though it's not jutapitau i think
they bring that too with that raunchy kind of comedy that has that extra heart in it that makes
the comedy even funnier you know i've seen one of those four movies you just which one super bad
Tehr here.
You haven't seen the others?
No.
You son of a bitch.
You watch any of that on your own time.
And without running it by me, I'm going to murder you.
All my comedies are reserved for.
You ever seen wedding crashers?
Never seen wedding crashes.
I don't even know the premise.
Obviously, it's about two guys crashing a wedding, but that's all about it.
Yeah, like those movies to me are also surprised.
Like that one like a Golden Globe, Hangover.
Really?
Like those movies won like gold.
I think that won a Golden Globe for like writing or something.
Because those movies are surprised.
I forget.
It won't something.
Because because of that.
And so not that I expect a Euro trip to be in that camp.
You just start seeing some of the weeds where you were going like, oh, I did have that
potential.
Even American Pie to a certain extent has like that extra character stuff.
Yeah.
And I think like this movie was more sketch comedy.
For sure.
It was a series of bits.
But it wasn't just that.
Like I liked that perhaps that was the original construct.
And then they added in this other stuff.
And I kind of feel like one came.
first the sketch comedy because the movie was definitely at its strongest when they were just
doing some random sketch right stuff with the pope hat the drinking the brother the twins hooking
up um the uh what i mean like oh my friend armiston is so that was the funny that was my favorite
part of the movie funniest cameo like the robot fight surprisingly was so hilarious i'm like i don't
know why this is so funny but this is hilarious right now like this is hilarious right now like
It was such a simple, stupid moment of having a robot fight.
And like, I think when the world around them could be buys into it when the entire world around
it is like, Michelle Tractamer is like, fight, you know, everyone in the crowd is watching and
like getting really into it.
And I think when the world adapts to it, that was one of my favorite parts about this as a
comedy is that is the commitment to the world of the surrealness and the ridiculousness of it.
like there wasn't any characters really who were like that's strange that's weird
huh unless of course it was a moment where it's out of touch for them like when they go to the
the nude beach um like kind of like that was that one of the more obvious joke moments you could see
coming but yeah like the the parts that i thought were the funniest were when they just got like
so insanely absurd the yeah fred armisen bit of how he's like escalatingly getting more
obviously perverted and creepy and uh the robot i five
and like the brother's sister hooking up and the drink with the tooth fairy yeah those are the little boy with the little
moustache in the marches like while there's this like sad conversation going on that was hilarious there are some truly hilarious scenes in this movie yeah the dungeon scene that was crazy so while it kind of it's it never it was a weird experience to me because sometimes it was like uh just a regular like not a flat line but like yeah it's amusing too like oh my god this is so hilarious but it was never like
It was funny, funny, funny, funny, hilarious, funny, funny, funny, hilarious.
It was like, oh, my God.
And it's like extreme shot.
Oh, when the guy is.
Actually, all this stuff in Amsterdam was a really funny interview.
The fact, they were regular Brownings.
The movie's funny and then I realized the more I talk about it to where I'm like, actually,
there were some truly hilarious scenes.
And the bit that they were not actually high was a pretty funny reveal to me.
That was pretty good.
Yeah, the movie's kind of all over the map, like this Euro trip.
but yeah i i largely enjoyed it i think that it was super funny i thought it made me laugh more than
i expected to because move like some movies and comedies don't age well you know like certain
movies from like the early 2000s or like late 90s don't really hit but for some reason yeah
this this sex comedy really worked i feel like the heightenedness of the surroundings and
like the believability that they kind of surpass or kind of overlook make the movie allow
itself a chance to have these moments that are extremely funny so yeah i thoroughly had a
good time yeah yeah yeah you have any other thoughts feelings about the euro trip no no no
i think uh i think it was uh i think it was a funny it was a funny movie it's a funny and raunch a good time
I'm glad we finally taught.
Same.
All right, guys, let us know what you guys want us to watch next.
