On the road to Scream 7 as Tara Erickson & Roxy Striar react to Scream 2, and this one absolutely delivered — bigger kills, higher emotions, and one of the strongest sequel meta-commentaries ever put to screen. Set against the release of Stab, the film within the film, Scream 2 escalates everything: a brutal movie-theater opening, shocking deaths, layered suspects, and a mystery that constantly turns on itself. Sidney is once again forced to confront trauma, trust, and repetition as copycat killers recreate Woodsboro on a college campus. This reaction gets especially intense during the CeCe Cooper chase, the soundproof recording studio sequence, Dewey’s near-death moment, and the reveal that the killers are Mickey Altieri and Mrs. Loomis, turning the sequel into both a slasher and a twisted revenge story. Tara & Roxy fully spiral through the suspicion, the fake-outs, the emotional betrayal, and the meta “rules of sequels” speech that defines the franchise. Starting point is 00:01:55 i was the search of the wild purge pillow today we're 45 minutes behind because she couldn't find it. Okay. All right. All right. Be real for one con second. You and I were both on time today. And then let's be honest with the people,
Starting point is 00:02:09 we were supposed to watch Terminator 3 today. Did we watch Terminator 3 today? She's going to dive into the whole thing. No, he didn't. No, he didn't. Yes, because I know how much they love my long intros. Everybody loves them, including Prepper. All right, you're fine.
Starting point is 00:02:24 And I won't even tell the people how I am today. No, tell them. I'm not going to tell you. You found your perch pillow. and you're very happy about it. She was out of press. She was right around the studio. It is horror Thursday.
Starting point is 00:02:34 That means you've almost made it to the weekend. Congratulations. You made it out alive. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Yeah, that's better. Your first one was giving Santa Claus. Yeah, I felt, I felt wrong in it.
Starting point is 00:02:47 Yeah, but the second one, I think. You felt it was good, right? Yeah, it was like you were your own direction. Yeah. Yeah. I redirected myself. that just sounds like a bird dying I think
Starting point is 00:03:02 something's dying oh it sounds like the thing that came out of that girl's vagina on Welcome to Derry Yeah we're also covering it Welcome to Dairy Go check that out You're welcome
Starting point is 00:03:14 Tara on that note Are we ready for Scream 2? We are 321 I clicked it As a reminder to everybody We had both seen a little of the first Scream movie We haven't seen a single second of this movie, so...
Starting point is 00:03:29 Correct. Let's see. Hate scary movies. Oh, Jada Pinkett's in this? And Omar Epps. And Sandra Bullock. I love it. What? Are you kidding?
Starting point is 00:03:43 She won an Oscar. Biash. Called Stab. Oh, yeah, Stab. It's good to be scared. That's the fake movie in this franchise I've heard of. It's on people's shirts and stuff. Some dumb-ass white girls.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Getting their white asses cut the... Is she talking about us? Yes. Except no, because we grab weapons and we clap our hands. How do you get your Ph.D. in black cinema, sister soldier? Listen. Jada Pinkett stays hot. Always.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Was hot, is hot, forever hot. She's an alien. Movie, all black cats, all black wardrobe, black eyes. Black eyed peas, the black cats. Black eyed peas, what year is this? In 1997. So they probably. They were hip.
Starting point is 00:04:29 Yep. And it's white. White. White. Oh, God. I mean, why would they do? This is a perfect opportunity for someone to actually get killed. I feel like that was a Chucky reference.
Starting point is 00:04:47 Wasn't that striking overall? Yeah. I don't think we had any in the last screen movie. No. Oh, God. Whoa. It said Gail Weathers on the screen just said. It did.
Starting point is 00:05:00 But this thing flying got me. This is based on Gail Weather's book. Okay, hot couple. Stabovision. Oh. Oh, I like the song. Ooh. Heated full action.
Starting point is 00:05:17 I'm into it. I'm at the age where anytime I see a house, I just dream of the day. Yes, I'm with you. It's like, imagine living there. Oh, that's Heather Graham. Yes, it is. In a nice wig that looks like Drew Barrymore. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:46 This is shot very interestingly. Yeah, I like that. I forget that we're watching the movie. No, really, who is this? Were you expecting somebody? Oh, the jiffy pop. Yeah. Bitch, hang the phone up and star 69 his ass.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Damn. It's the movies. Yeah, like. But yet, she is us right now. Yeah, right? She's the reactor. Totally. Totally.
Starting point is 00:06:14 That is what we said. I don't even have a boyfriend right now. Would you like one? Can I give me some money? I need to get some pop more. You got money. I got my money. I asked food.
Starting point is 00:06:27 That's hysterical I'm like my money I ask for your money Is this gonna be like a Drew situation where she's dead soon Or is she our lead of this movie Like I said I'm like perfect opportunity for someone to get murdered In this theater
Starting point is 00:06:45 Sounds delicious I am not going back in there Come on you chicken shit It's just a movie No it's not just a movie It's a true story All these kids got killed a couple years ago in California that's me and roxy off screen yeah oh oh oh oh oh it's for him oh
Starting point is 00:07:10 i'm sorry i had to baby did you playing was you relax what what excuse me are they i feel like you're exhausted i'm always exhausted I'm always exhausted after a scary movie. Oh, no. Okay. Now I think she's a goner. Or he is.
Starting point is 00:07:38 Oh, he, yeah, yeah, yeah. Who is more famous at this time? I think Jada. Because we'll, she, oh. What a quote, the back and forth is amazing. Yeah, I agree. They got a lot. A lot of background actors for this.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Yeah. It's a full theater. I bet you a movie theater. Oh. Actually did this when Scream 2 came out. For sure. What is on the walls? Hyrogloat?
Starting point is 00:08:14 Yeah. I'm wondering, like, the Vista didn't used to have that before it's renovated. But it does kind of... Well, they said it happened. Where do we think this movie is taking place even? I mean, the Rialto looked like it was downtown L.A., but I don't know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:30 You guys love when I ask questions. I know, I know. That's how I enjoy things. It is what it is. You don't like it. Then you don't like me. And that's okay. Not everybody does.
Starting point is 00:08:40 But the people who do... Oh, what the... What is this voice? I don't know, but it said woman. Yeah, I do... Oh, oh, my God. Oh, watching... Oh.
Starting point is 00:08:55 Oh, must, it's gotta be. I don't know, something like that. Oh, yeah, you're right. He's a garner. Oh. Dang, right in the face. In the ear. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Or, oh, God. Oh. Oh, God. Yeah. Yeah, okay. Oh, God. Poor Jade is going to go. go from being super annoyed because like where is he to being real sad or mad to be like did you go home
Starting point is 00:09:32 no no no no no no no no no no no no it seems like jade is going to be better at avoiding she has so many comments on yeah true she's us thinking we can do better totally oh no he took his clothes oh no that's what they do in revenge of the nerds if he tries to Kiss her. Oh, oh. Here comes, baby is a wild. Yeah. Oh, is that her hand, realizing he's hard, or is it blood?
Starting point is 00:10:17 Okay, got it. Oh, God. Oh, she's done, too. Okay. Clap your hands. Yeah, exactly. It's just like crazy. Yeah, because it's just everyone's going wakadoo.
Starting point is 00:10:48 Wow. Savage, dude. Amazing opening scene. Amazing. Agreed. Very realistic, too. They're going to start applauding, aren't they? Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:11:10 Okay. They can tell us real. Some of them seem confused. Yeah. Oh, God. Maybe now they applaud. Okay. No, okay.
Starting point is 00:11:23 Wow. Great job. Okay, so I wonder if all the movies in this franchise open with someone who's not going to be. That would be my dream. Yeah, that would be fun, right? You only had to shoot for a couple of days, and she probably did all the press, too. Totally. Hello, Sydney.
Starting point is 00:11:41 Yes. What's your favorite scary movie? Who is this? Is she getting prank calls all the time? No, she must be. Corey Gillis, 55501-176. Oh, shit. Flash, Corey.
Starting point is 00:11:54 Crank calls her a criminal offense. Oh, she didn't be a lawyer. You know, Ron, it's not an easy thing to be accused of a crime he didn't commit, particularly one of the... Yeah, he's back. Most people are cool. Cotton. That's right, cotton. You were wrongly accused.
Starting point is 00:12:13 You were fully exonerated. Yeah, well, the nickel gets here a cup of coffee. Even that's not true anymore. Well, certainly with Gellwether's book. Look at the Freddy's sweater. accepting In her closet Yeah, it was just red and blue
Starting point is 00:12:26 Move your ass, okay, you're late Don't forget about the routine mixer tonight at the death of Lamazeta It's like, oh yeah, yeah, I see, I see Well, nobody's asking you to join, okay? It's a party, free beer, meet the girl How do you know me in organized religion? It's a sorority, worse.
Starting point is 00:12:42 Lower the walls for the next few days, okay, this self-induced isolation you got going, it's not healthy. I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm fine. check out the news oh
Starting point is 00:12:56 check out the news okay land here deliver your heart West did this one too right was that Wes Carving did this one too I don't know
Starting point is 00:13:08 I think it said yeah Where's Randy he's got film theory this morning Film theory Film theory Cool Gotta know the theory behind it theater is a direct result of the movie itself.
Starting point is 00:13:25 Oh, ah, I did not know she was in this. What? She's gonna be our girl. With me, with Campbell. I'm shook. It's a classic case of life imitating art. Oh my god! This is crazy. I love him.
Starting point is 00:13:43 This cast is insane. Thank you. I agree with you. Oh, and he's back. Yeah, that's Randy, right? Yeah. I live through this, okay? Yeah, you really did.
Starting point is 00:13:53 With all due respect, the killer obviously passed. He looks great. I've never seen him that young. ...kill killers who have been immortalized on film. Thank you, right. Oh, my God. Was Sarah in Buffy at this time? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:14:03 By definition alone, they're inferior films. Sequel sucks. Star said they've cast. Name one. Yeah. Aliens, far better than the first. Uh-huh. Another.
Starting point is 00:14:14 T-2. Oh. Yeah, T-2. We watched that. The first Terminator is historical. Yeah. Yeah, but T-2 is better, I think. Yeah, at the time, we were more conflict, but T2 is better.
Starting point is 00:14:28 House 2, what is that? I don't know. The Godfather, part 2. A lot of people think that. Dark night. Yeah. Love that. Hadn't come out yet, but.
Starting point is 00:14:43 Mr. Originality, how would you make it different? I'd let the geek get the glow. Oh, yeah. He always had a crush. on, I remember. He's doing a good one, too. He's starting again, Randy. What? A lot of shit happens at the movies. People get robbed, sharp, maimed, murder. I know, Sid. And I don't want to go back there again. Oh, God. And this guy, too? Wow. Hello, Derek. How you doing? Oh, that's her boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:15:24 Okay. I don't recognize him. Really? Oh, God. Yeah, he were all these people, 90s and big stars. I recognize everybody else. Obviously, I know all of them. But what was he in? A lot.
Starting point is 00:15:35 I'm not going to be able to tell you this stuff, but a lot. Kidding me? It'd be stupid to pull this movie. All this free press, they're going to have huge numbers this weekend. It'll break Fox Office records. Consider it done. You said this is 97? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:15:50 So it's just the year after the first. One year after, man, they got to work. You got experience? Huh? Yeah. I mean, I'm local, but I shot the bingo finals. I almost got an award for that. The bingo finals, he got an award.
Starting point is 00:16:04 You stay focused and fast on your feet and get along fine. Playing with the big boys now. You got it. Got you covered them all over it. Did you just see? Oh, her. Oh, no way. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:16:17 No, you probably get this all the time. But I just wanted to say, I'm such a big fan of your work. I just finished your book, thank you, sure. I'm a writer myself. Oh, no, stop now. I'm Debbie Salt. Debbie Salt's a great name. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:31 Can't wait to see the movie. You know, you must be getting quite a lot of plaque on that. Yep, it's built, obviously. Yeah. What is your position going to be? No comment. Uh. Uh.
Starting point is 00:16:41 It would be such an honor for me if I could just get a quote from you for my story. Okay. Fuck off. Great. You're flattering remarks are both desperate. Oh. Oh, God. Hello, girls. Enjoying yourselves? Oh, hello, Sister Lois. Sister Murphy.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Hello, Pledge. Oh, the blonde girl still works even now. Oh, yeah. Yeah, she's Ellen's wife. Yeah, I'll think of it. Are you going to bring your friend to her little martini mixer tonight? I have a lot of work. We'll be there.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Oh, good. You hang in there, and if there is anything we can do. Her curls are amazing. Who's that? Oh. Oh. Oh. I was worried about you.
Starting point is 00:17:23 Yeah. I heard about what happened and I was on the next plane. Aw. I got my first starring role. We opened in two days. That is great. Yeah, I'm loving it. And I've got some great friends and seeing someone.
Starting point is 00:17:38 Nice guy premed. No apparent psychotic tendencies. I thought she might hesitate to tell him that she was seeing someone, but... If there is some freaked out psycho trying to follow in Billy Loomis' footsteps, you probably already know, or her, or them, they're probably already in your life. Is it you Dewey? Because why, you actually hopped on a plane? Right. You think I don't know that, do we?
Starting point is 00:18:02 Yeah, of course she does. Keep an eye out. I'm going to talk to Chief Hartley and the local police. I'm going to just hang around. I want to make sure you're safe. That's all right with you. Yeah, I'd be honest. Is he into her? See, I thought so. which is why I thought
Starting point is 00:18:20 But he was into Gail Yeah And he kind of reacted When she said I'm seeing someone But not enough for me to go Oh, he does like her So I'm not sure Who's that guy?
Starting point is 00:18:30 You know what's bro's finest What's he doing here? He's worried our surrogate big brother How are you? What do you want, Gail? Complicated relationship Yeah Oh god
Starting point is 00:18:44 You brought cotton? Yeah Like oh god Where Sidney Prescott has just been reunited with Cotton Weary for the first time since you wrongly accused him of murdering... Uh, what are you doing? Yeah. Sydney, I'd just like to say that I forgive and forget, just like you, I'd like to get back on with my own life. Do you have any comments?
Starting point is 00:19:02 Hi. Bitch. Oh, oh, oh. Sidney share with us, please. Oh! Oh! Did you get that old film? Yes, I got that old film.
Starting point is 00:19:13 It's a fun callback. I thought we had an official interview. What's going on? she didn't know man that was cold you promised me 10 minutes of national coverage you'll get your 10 minutes when I get my god damn interview Gail I did my part
Starting point is 00:19:27 Joel this is obviously so different than Monica it's interesting at the same time fans must have been losing it yeah because they hadn't seen Courtney like this yeah why don't you just leave her alone hasn't you been through enough thank you Dewey I was just doing my job
Starting point is 00:19:43 Dwight no matter who gets hurt in the process Oh, she broke up with you? Yeah, something. Well, I don't condone violence, but maybe you deserve... It's going on with his hand. He's, like, I don't think it's just his hand. He's, like, limping. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:57 I think it's from when he was... Barney-Fish presence. Oh. Oh. Yes, I do read, Ms. Well, yikes. Oh, that's a white fist. Deputy Dewey ooze with inexperience. He did. Don't you think you're over?
Starting point is 00:20:16 reacting just a little bit no what i think is that you're money hungry fame seeking and forgive me for saying mediocre right just got a cold storage shed where our heart should be do we i never meant to imply how do you know that my dim-witted inexperience isn't merely a subtle form of manipulation used to lower people's expectations thereby enhancing my ability to effectively maneuver within any given situation is it uh no i guess not now if you'll excuse me I have some oozing to do. Okay, dook. Nice streaks.
Starting point is 00:20:51 Yeah, they are. I mean, this is a hot hairstyle. Makes me want to do that. You should. Because you're, you have blonde now. You can put some red stripes in there. Just in time for Christmas. Yes, little Jew girl.
Starting point is 00:21:06 That's right. I always forget. Hi. No, I really mean that. Hi. I love that they're out of like a sorority and holding martinis. I really mean that high.
Starting point is 00:21:18 Yeah. Okay, Ted, you sound loaded. What's up? Who's Ted? Oh, I'm sorry. My bad. I thought you were someone else. That's okay.
Starting point is 00:21:27 I am. Who are you calling for? That's okay. I am is wild life. Yeah. We're co-sponsoring the acid rain mixer at 5-gam Alpha tonight. Why aren't you there? I'm sober sister.
Starting point is 00:21:38 I need to be here in case a drunk sister calls and needs a ride. Oh. We used to have that too. That's cool. I like that. Yeah. Oh, I'm impatient. Look, do you want to leave a message for someone?
Starting point is 00:21:49 Do you want to die tonight, Ceasy? Uh-oh. So was it, Teddy? No, some creep asshole trying to scare me. That movie stabs. Bringing out the crazies. Uh-oh. Shit.
Starting point is 00:22:03 What is it? I heard a noise. Where? Upstairs. Maybe this is... Love that we're still rolling. Is this before I know what you did last summer and before Buffy? I don't know what the timeline is.
Starting point is 00:22:14 I think so. Because, If it's after, she's not going to get killed. I can't believe you're alone in that house. I don't think I'm alone. I'm out of here. Yeah, I think I know what you did last summer was like 99. No, I think it was like 99 or 2000.
Starting point is 00:22:31 Okay. You're breaking up. Where are you? Outside. I wonder if she's about to kick it. Call campus security. Yeah. I'm calling from the Omega Beta Zeta house.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Someone's harassing me. Hello. Hey. Oh, that got me. Yeah, me too. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Did anyone call for me? What are you doing here?
Starting point is 00:22:51 Her, too. She still works. Yeah. Yeah, I am. I hit the change, so I'll be out of here now. That top is something. See, see there? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:23:02 Who's calling? It's dead. You can see a boyfriend. But that person who slipped in, yeah, didn't have a phone with them. Maybe, like, pocket, maybe. When he said it's Ted? Oh
Starting point is 00:23:16 I'm just wondering Right at the same time that we saw Yeah yeah yeah Right It was dead Don't forget to set the alarm Oh It's too late
Starting point is 00:23:29 Bobo Yeah No he's inside He wouldn't remind you about Oh some Some weirdo in the comments Keeps talking about You and I don't wash our hair
Starting point is 00:23:42 Which is very confusing That's hilarious. I've never once seen either of us with greasy hair. No. I mean, it'll be, I have a lot of flyaways and sometimes it'll look. I do slick backs a lot. Sometimes I just don't.
Starting point is 00:23:59 Freshly washed, I just slick it with gel. Oh, God. Also, I want that phone. Oh, good girl, good girl. This feels iconic because we're watching the making of. Sarah Michelle Geller like yeah there we go find a weapon it can be anything oh oh no no no oh okay now jump but why would he do that the alarm so stupid well I don't think she's gonna make it rocks
Starting point is 00:24:36 great shot Oh, hit us with those tunes. Okay, so who do we know who disliked this sorority so far? The two guys that were like, the gamma whatever sucks. Right. You know, you girls have really given me a lot to think about. Thanks. Like, these two guys, they don't like that.
Starting point is 00:25:10 That's right. Empire strikes back. It's a better story. Improved effects Not a secret The conversation continues Part of a trilogy planned is true Something is up at Omega Beta Beta Beta
Starting point is 00:25:21 Data police are everywhere Hurry I'm so excited The guy that's dating Neff Campbell Hates this guy Yeah Total cutie
Starting point is 00:25:31 I feel like I've never seen him That's so wild to me Because he was 90s everywhere He played a lot of like the cute charming When we look it up I'm sure On those and the stuff Yeah you will I don't recognize him
Starting point is 00:25:43 And he is like dreamboat. You're just getting here. It's not good. It's a single victim sorority girl. Dale, you're late. I've got a deadline. That was, it was real nice. She was nice to her because Gail was not nice to her last time they met.
Starting point is 00:26:01 Dude, you're freaking me out, dude. Yeah. I feel like he's so bitter about Gail that. Oh. Oh, and now Randy's going to be her. Fuck with me. Oh, maybe not. Never mind.
Starting point is 00:26:18 I thought he was going to quit. She just can't help herself, can she? Why would you answer that, though? I guess because she wants to know, like, is he really back, maybe? I don't know. Hello? Hello, Sydney. Yeah, there we go.

Starting point is 00:27:26 I feel bad. I don't know why I'm so skeptical of Dewey. Yeah. I don't know because I did hear an... Oh. Yeah. He went that way. Cindy, get here. Oh.
Starting point is 00:27:42 It would be one of the girls. Oh, it's a good practical effect. Gross. Oh. She's like, not again. I'm going to go get a quick cup of coffee. You want? Want some sit?
Starting point is 00:28:07 Easiest interrogation of my crime-filled life. I knew this wasn't over. You are not alone. Okay, we are all here for you. You're right, whatever you need. You're suss. Yeah. Derek could have been killed, you know?
Starting point is 00:28:24 But he wasn't. He's fine. And he's the one that was filming a lot. And he wanted to talk about how many times the girl was stabbed. I used to realize the 90s is no time to play Europe. Why would anyone go back in that house anyway? How do he know he did that? How do he know he went back in the house?
Starting point is 00:28:42 I went around to the back of the house. house and ran into sit there it's when she told me the killer was inside so i went in to see you're lucky there's no nerve damage hmm it's just a shame he got away so easily it's just a shame you got there too late right after he disappeared hmm probably probably because it was one of his buddies and that's why his buddy was like uh i'll cut him but not kill him i don't know we'll see is cc the girl's real name uh it's uh casey as in casey becker she was a young victim in woodsborough as well as your boyfriend, Stephen Orth. Maureen Evans, Marine Prescott.
Starting point is 00:29:20 That's Sidney's mother. Hmm. Do you think someone's trying to duplicate Woodsboro? It looks like it. I think you have a copycat on your hands, Chief. Is it you? What are you doing to keep Sydney safe? I got my two best detectives guarding her.
Starting point is 00:29:33 Do these guys have to follow you around everywhere? Oh, we're attached to the hip. How am I ever gonna get you alone? Never did I wear anything like that in college, I wish. Yeah, right? So classy. Like leather blazer. Totally.
Starting point is 00:29:47 Look at you, you already got hurt. I don't want to see that happen again. You are concerned with my personal well-being and not with trusting me or anything, right? Hmm. Like I said, I just don't want to see you get hurt. And I don't want to see you get hurt. I guess it's possible that he got himself. We didn't see him at the exact same time as the killer, but it was so close in time.
Starting point is 00:30:11 But the knife went through the door. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right, you're right. He could be working with him, or it was a buddy. Or she thinks that when she heard the other guys say, oh, he went back in the house. Right, exactly. This episode is brought to you by prize picks, the app that finally let me crash my wife's fantasy sports click. Yes, I used to overhear her and her friends bonding while I sat in the corner where my arms folded. Come to my home and I can't be included, trying to pretend like, yeah, I know what yards after catch means.
Starting point is 00:30:40 It's fell left out, man. And then I discovered prize picks. So here's the deal. It's daily fantasy sports, not gambling. No playing against sharks or betting against the house. It's just you versus your own sports brain. You pick more or less on two or more player stats. Like, will Luca Donchich score more than 30 points tonight?
Starting point is 00:31:00 Will Christian McCaffrey rush for less than 85 yards? Sports things. And if you're right, you win. Another thing, too, it's fast. You can make a lineup in under a minute, playing in 30 plus states. And you're not stuck to just NFRA. or NBA. You've got MLB, NHL, college football, even e-sports. Basically, if it has stats, you can play. And basically, I now can hang out with my wife and her friends. 10 years in the making. And when I get one right, it does feel good. So, fellow reject, what you can do today is you can download the Price Pix app, use code Rejects to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. That's code Rejects to get $50 in lineups after your first $5 lineup.
Starting point is 00:31:42 picks. It's good to be right. I've been thinking about this whole murder thing. Have you checked out Randy? I know he's an innocent victim first time around, but he's a little off, you know what I'm saying? Come on. Randy, the guy's harmless. That's what they said about Dahmer. Hmm. The one on the right is Officer Richards.
Starting point is 00:32:00 He is a Capricorn, divorced father. Capricorn. This morning, I woke up with this feeling. I didn't know how to deal with. And so I just decided to me. myself I'd hide it to myself what is happening Tom Cruise
Starting point is 00:32:17 I'm in 1986 Derek Don't I think I love you Don't do you So what am I He's gonna get on top of the table And like
Starting point is 00:32:28 I've never felt this way Hey I think I love you So what am I so afraid of That I'm not sure of Clap your hands Sarah Clap your hands I had to grab a weapon
Starting point is 00:32:42 or clap your hands made you go This scene's awesome I love this guy I'm going to make you happy and if you say hey Great shot Is that the first time
Starting point is 00:32:59 he said it to her you think? Must be I feel like I'm obsessed with that What a grand justice That was so cute He's like I can't have her be leaving me right now
Starting point is 00:33:15 Oh Oh an acclis Isn't that a big Frat fopot Oh yeah that is a big no-no See you're not supposed to give your Greek letters To your girl No shape way or form
Starting point is 00:33:26 Hmm It'll protect you Oh Cute I mean they are so hot They're a good couple I loved that scene Tara
Starting point is 00:33:42 It was fun I play this young girl Oh good Remember when she was like I'd be anyone But not Tori's Valley Yeah What kind of research did you do for the part
Starting point is 00:33:53 I don't get it Tori spelling Play Sid That's funny And they catch Joe blow nobody to play me At least you get David Swimmer Oh that makes sense And shout out to Courtney Cox
Starting point is 00:34:04 This is Tori Spelling Storing in the new film Are we gonna see David Schummer? Oh, shut up! Luke, right? Yeah. I've been going through a lot lately, really. And my mom...
Starting point is 00:34:20 I think you need to just deal with that and move on. That is what he said. So good. This movie is awesome. So good. The way I see it, someone's out to make a sequel. You know, cash in on all the movie murder, hoopla. So it's our job to observe the rules of the sequel.
Starting point is 00:34:41 Oh. Body count is always bigger. That's right. He knows all the trope and the rules. Body counts are bigger, okay? And number three, if you want your sequel to become a franchise, never, ever a hundred. How do we find the killer, Randy? That's what I want to know.
Starting point is 00:34:53 Hmm. Do you? Look at the suspects. There's Derek, the obvious boyfriend. Hello, Billy Loomis. The guy's pre-medness. Pity. Me, surface, won't conveniently missed every major vein.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Hmm. So forget the boyfriend. It's tired. Who else do we got? Mickey, the freaky Tarantino film student. But if he's a suspect, so am I. So let's move on. Maybe you are a suspect.
Starting point is 00:35:15 Well, if I'm a suspect, you are a suspect. Do you have a point? Weird face. Yeah, totally. Hallie. Cid's roommate? Mm-hmm. Serial killers are typically white male.
Starting point is 00:35:25 That's why it's perfect. It's sort of against the rules, but not really. Mrs. Voorhees was a terrific serial killer. Mm-hmm. And there's always room for Candyman's daughter. She's sweet. She's deadly. She's bad for your teeth. The only one who flew in was Dewey. Who do you think's the killer? How about Gail Weathers?
Starting point is 00:35:42 Gail? A killer? Why not? Was she is vicious enough? She's an opportunist. Isn't it conceivable she's planning her next book? Hmm. That's what reporters do, do we? They stage the news. Gail's a lot of things, but Gail's not a killer. This is me talking Randy. The unrequited love slave of Sidney Prescott. I know all about obsession. Oh. Gail's no killer. But if she's not a killer, she's a target.
Starting point is 00:36:03 I'm a little confused. I mean, what you're getting trapped with me, why would you want to be here when the killer strikes again? I mean, granted, I should have read your book. I read what happened to your last cameraman. The guy got gutted. Now, me, I'm gonna do what any rational human being would do, which is, get the fuck out of here. First of all, he wasn't gutted. He made that up.
Starting point is 00:36:23 His throat was slashed. Get out, gutted slash, the guy ain't in the union no more. It's a job, Joel. He ain't in the union anymore. got to act like one yeah but i want to report the news i don't want to be the news besides brothers don't last long in situations like this true it was the 90s i cannot do this without you good come on i really am going to be so sad when he dies yeah i like him yeah me too he's a little bit of like comedic relief yeah okay everybody gather around third act one last time
Starting point is 00:36:57 cue the music oh my god Oh The dreaded fate of Troy That wants to crowd Oh Uh Styrofo Yeah
Starting point is 00:37:17 Or that's not supposed to happen And someone's gonna die right now And now Alone in fate's cruel isolation Stans Cassandra Her kingdom Great shot
Starting point is 00:37:31 She looks incredible Yeah No crime against gods or man have I committed Is she Electra? What did this issue was? I don't remember. Each hideous vision born from my mind has come to pass. Who is that in the background? I didn't see.
Starting point is 00:37:51 Not by my hand or wish. The guy on the wall? No, no. So now fate's vengeful eye is fixed. Unmeat Oh Oh Cool
Starting point is 00:38:11 Oh Uh Uh Yeah Oh Oh Oh Oh
Starting point is 00:38:23 God Oh, she's, she's just seeing things? All right, hold it. Hold it! Everyone take five. Hmm. Two roommates are there. There was another blonde girl that looked like, um, what's the house bunny's name?
Starting point is 00:38:53 Anna Ferris. It wasn't her, but it looked exactly like her. Your escort has arrived. Your escort. Is everything okay? What's going on? What happened to me? Mickey we swapped he had to edit you get me instead what happened
Starting point is 00:39:07 I don't don't I just I need to be alone right now okay I mean she's got to be free because last time it was her boyfriend yeah it was like I get it I need some distance I'm just like I'm like he would have to be teamed up with somebody because he was outside the door when
Starting point is 00:39:27 yeah but that's what happened to her last time literally so yeah I guess I'm supposed to be understanding Yeah. She's got pretty eyes. Yeah. So does he. What?
Starting point is 00:39:39 Tell Bob, I'll call him back. When she starts smoking? Ever since those nude pictures on the internet. Just my head. It was Jennifer Anison's body. Uh-huh. Nice. Funny.
Starting point is 00:39:49 See, I don't need to be hearing about no dead cameraman, all right? Now, I'm warning you guys. I'm a verb away from vacating these premises. I'm going to give me some coffee. Donuts, Prozac. Nice. Special K X, not Malcolm. And I'll be back.
Starting point is 00:40:02 Let's do it all. Let's do it all. X, not Malcolm. Yeah. Amazing. Saved by the Bellish, too. That reference is great. If the killer is following a pattern, then maybe we can figure out who's next.
Starting point is 00:40:14 We were all involved in Woodsboro. Could be any one of us. What if it's her cameraman. Well, I don't know. See, I was like... Phone head. Phone head. What a dis.
Starting point is 00:40:22 He's just so believable at being like, I should get out of here, but you're right. You did just leave, and now we get a call. He can see us. Just keep him on the phone. I think you might be. Right, because they were talking about how there's not enough black people, like, in the movies and stuff. And... Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:40:47 I'm sure at that time, people felt the same way, so maybe that could be his motive. Wait, let me guess. Splatter University, graduation day, final exam. What am I, a child? Oh. Too slow. Oh. That scared me.
Starting point is 00:41:03 She's this? Who's this? Gail Weather's author of the Woodsboro murders. She's just grabbing all the phones. There's a guy back there, but that's a setup. The white guy. White male suspect. White male suspect.
Starting point is 00:41:22 Your clock. Who's clock? Your clock. No matter how hard you try, you'll never be the hero, and you'll never, ever get the girl. Oh, oh. Oh. Wrong guy, dead boy. Well, let's redirect a moment.
Starting point is 00:41:38 I feel bad that I was so hard on Dewey. Yeah. He was playing. He was being weird, though. A little bit. Sorry. What a rat-looking homo-reressed mama's boy. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Wow. Whoa, that got me. I guess you asked for it. it. That's a camera van. I mean, yeah. So you're right. Because his motivation could be like, well, that's how I ensure I'll last till the end. Some corny line like that, right? Or maybe he was in Woodrow. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:42:22 Yeah. Yeah. Maybe he hates. Yeah, I don't know. But now he's leaving. Okay. That poor guy. This guy just grabbed me. What's going on? Oh, it comes back with Dunk. Dunkies.
Starting point is 00:42:34 Love the donut move. Okay, donkeys. It would be too obvious. I guess if it was him in the van, I don't know. That would be very obvious at this point. Yeah, so skip it. Skip it. And the only person is the best, Eboy.
Starting point is 00:42:52 Did your computer just freeze? Someone here in a library. All the terrorism isn't connected. That guy. So chill. Evil dies tonight, Tara, this week now. He's here Shit, get away from the computer
Starting point is 00:43:07 Sid is probably just a sick joke I see a screen, please? Wait right here. That was it. Leaver? What are they doing? Oh, could it be cotton? Huh, yeah, I forgot about him. This isn't a good time.
Starting point is 00:43:25 Come on, Sid, you send me to prison. I could over a year for you. Oh, I can't go to, you can't go to prison for the same crime, rocks. What? It wouldn't be the same. Oh, yeah, because it's a different person. Love that for you.
Starting point is 00:43:39 I just freaked out. Yeah. I just freaked out. It happens to all of us. We're talking prime time, Sid, you, me, and Diane. I wonder, though, if his life has been kind of ruined, so he needs to, like, clear his name. I don't know. Well, yeah, I bet.
Starting point is 00:43:54 And he probably also needs money. I know, I know, I know, I know, I know. You don't like the press. I know that. What does she just see on his hands? Everybody thinks I'm going to cycle. And all I'm asking for is in the middle fucking dying. He also has the boots.
Starting point is 00:44:07 He has the shoes. They just did a pickup. But they did that last time. It wasn't the guy. Sorry, Cotton, but no. I bet you're real sorry. What if he actually did kill her parent and the other people were lying? Wow.
Starting point is 00:44:20 What are you doing? I think. Jesus, I'm not Billy Loomers. She killed him. He's dead. Remember? I think the shoe thing was a bait and switch. We were talking very heatedly.
Starting point is 00:44:31 Ms. Prescott and I. I have a very complicated... Yes, you do. You've definitely got me for raising my voice in a public library. We're dealing with four murders here. You watch your mouth. Could be her best friend. The girl's sitting right next to her out there.
Starting point is 00:44:45 Yeah, that's a good point. She hasn't been around when the kills have happened. Are you okay? No. Stop treating me like glass, do we? I'm not going to break. It's okay to break. Right, we don't know anything about her.
Starting point is 00:44:57 Can I please remind everyone here that I'm an innocent man? Yeah, you just kind of suck. What's going on? to let him go Why? We don't have anything on him Except the shoes Yeah, but what's your deal with the shoes, babe?
Starting point is 00:45:12 You mean from the first one? I still on this one too. He wears the same weird black shoes And they... What do you think you're doing? Waiting for my 15 minutes of fame When he was on the stairs, they did a pickup of his shoes
Starting point is 00:45:23 And I was like, I think they're just trying to throw us off to set. Sidney, if you change your mind. Come on, take a hide. Sorry about that. He took the card. did right away I don't know
Starting point is 00:45:37 but I'll be there with you uh-oh everyone's suss that's why these are so great god I know right who's doing this Dewey I don't know Sid but I'll find him it's hard because Dewey was
Starting point is 00:45:49 there was there when the other guy got murdered yeah how you hold up game you're sorry about browsing with the events of the scary knowing somebody's out there waiting and watching enjoying all this how does that make you feel local woman
Starting point is 00:46:00 local woman I know that you hold me up as your career template but give it a rest you're right I'm sorry it was the wrong time I'm sorry she's always very understanding like here's your footage see you wouldn't want to be you I need you no no you need to have your head exam I really like him I feel bad do we I never say that because I never feel bad about anything but I feel bad now okay growth Seems genuine. I just want to find this fucker.
Starting point is 00:46:36 I really do. Are they about to kiss right now? I don't know. I feel like with his Me Too, they definitely are. He's about to Me Too. He's about to Me Too. What's in here? Oh, see.
Starting point is 00:46:49 Okay, so I was right. He'll become her camera person. If the killer really is watching and relish in every minute, that he'd be here on these tapes, right? This music is wild. It's definitely worth a look. Sexual tension. On.
Starting point is 00:47:05 Wait, I'm just putting pieces together right now. Is that David Arquette? Yeah. Courtney Cox's husband. Oh, yeah. Probably not then, though, right? No, they probably met that way, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:17 I can't believe we made it to the whole first movie. And then all of a sudden, I'm like, wait, they? Yeah. I forgot because we're not still married now. Yeah, that was a while ago. Right, right, right. You're right, you're right. But they were.
Starting point is 00:47:28 They probably met. Yeah, on this. So people are going to shred us for the first one. I'm not thinking of that. We haven't put out the first one by the time we're watching the second one. I came up with that on my own guys. Remember that.
Starting point is 00:47:38 Yeah, remember that for sure. All of a sudden, I'm like, why are they so cute together? Why is this familiar? I mean, I didn't, yeah, obviously, didn't call it either, so. Weren't they married for a long time? Yes.
Starting point is 00:47:58 She ain't a friend. Forgive me for saying mediocre writer. All right, we see this. You're cute when you're angry. I was being rude. And when we went past her friend, she looked like she was like rolling her eyes. Like, I never meant to hurt you. Really?
Starting point is 00:48:16 Okay, make out. Juice it, juice it, juice it. Cool shot. We never get this angle. Never, ever. Oh, what, somebody in? Oh, who's this? It's just that he has footage of there.
Starting point is 00:48:35 The camera person had footage of there. That's not my footage. Wow. Oh. So it is him. Matter how hard to try, you'll never be the hero and you'll never, ever get the girl. And it's the van. Wrong guy, dead boy.
Starting point is 00:48:53 Right now. Turn around. Oh, God. Do we! Oh, no. Behind the door. Oh no. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Starting point is 00:49:06 He got downstairs. Oh, really good. Oh, no. Oh, God. Okay, good, good, good, gal. With the phone. Grab that weapon. Oh.
Starting point is 00:49:22 You got fire extinguisher. Do the fire extinguisher. You're not an idiot. Fire extinguisher. Damn it. No, she's going to get it. I don't think she is. Is there a second door?
Starting point is 00:49:35 Are you going to see something with Dewey? Oh, God. You didn't lock that door? You can't from that side, maybe. Hold your breath, girl. Oh, God. There's a little one. Not horrible, right?
Starting point is 00:49:58 No, you did good. You did good. Thank you. I need the validation. That's the first purge of the Scream franchise. You're right, because you didn't do it last time. We were just so invested. So is it too obvious if it's the camera guy now?
Starting point is 00:50:12 Or are we sure? Yeah. Oh, no. Oh, no, Dewey. Oh, no, Dewey. Oh, no, Dewey. Oh, God, it's soundproof. Okay.
Starting point is 00:50:21 Is Dewey going to get killed? Like, and then she's going to turn around? Oh, my God. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, no, Dewey. And she can't hear it. Oh, that's...
Starting point is 00:50:38 Just in time for me to realize they're married. I'm sad. Girl, you better be running. Find a weapon. Come on now. Good, good, good. Don't stand there. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:50:55 Don't, like, what are you doing? Close the door more. Find a weapon. Try to call someone, try to radio. Those briefcases. There's a computer in there, I think, too. What are you doing? This is what you're doing?
Starting point is 00:51:14 And you wrote the first book? Honey. Frozen fear. She did just watch Dewey die. She did. The only person she's ever had any emotional response. Yeah, I know. You're right.
Starting point is 00:51:32 This reminds me, that ah, ah, ha, ha, oh, oh, reminds me of White Lotus. Wait up. I'm her therapist. Here she comes. Is your freaking white mask in there, girl? Oh, that girl. Right?
Starting point is 00:51:53 And she's at the school. And she rolled her eyes when they were having the press conference. I thought that was weird. She's getting sit alone now. Oh, wait. But is this the guy? Looks like a brown suit, though No, this is a joke
Starting point is 00:52:08 This is the theater kids Yeah Oh, it was because he came Yeah, the frat kids Got it What the hell? Couldn't tell you Is that what you did?
Starting point is 00:52:24 We were in a soror It was It was We actually did do these things where we tied people to the top of mattresses and paraded them up and down the street if they gave each other their letters. Really?
Starting point is 00:52:37 It was called a shotgun pinning, yeah. Oh, my God. You had to be very serious with somebody. To give them away. Yeah, and then do the shotgun pinning. Right, yeah. And we duct tape them to the mattress together and bring them up and down the street.
Starting point is 00:52:52 Oh, my God. That basically means y'all, they're getting married. I know, but my friend did that. See how nervous she looks, and she's with the cops. Don't ask, don't tell. Oh, never mind, never mind, never mind. So it is just a camera guy? I guess, yeah, okay.
Starting point is 00:53:07 They're not gonna do it again where it's two people, right? Who knows, man? Help me, baby help? Help me get me out. Oh. Oh, you should have shot, buddy. Oh, wow. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:53:31 Well, at least you're hanging on, copperoni. At this point, I'd be shooting through the windshield. Yeah, but he just said, get down back there. He doesn't want to hit the girls. Oh. Oh, wild. That would look awesome. That did look amazing.
Starting point is 00:53:51 Oh. Oh, my God, Tara. What is that practical effect? That wasn't wild rocks. that was the greatest that we've seen in the franchise so far like he said in a sequel you got to have gory or kills yeah that was wild
Starting point is 00:54:08 dude oh yeah he's very dead that's like me asking all the questions yeah how do we get out of here I highly doubt they'd really be able to pull that out but I'm all right with it
Starting point is 00:54:27 oh no you gotta try to try to strangle him or something first yeah instead of trying to get out try to kill that seatbelt buckle him in all right so this is not a clap your hand scenario we know that already we know that yeah it's a seatbelt is the only weapon i think strangling with you yeah maybe these letters she she'll be able to use for something to kill them or okay now unlock the doors bubo they're against the wall oh god they have to well you can unlock the doors just you can't out of the back.
Starting point is 00:55:01 It's fine. I don't think you can unlock the door from this passenger seat. You don't think of my car. Oh, God. I think he's just chilling. She wants to see who it is, but just bash him. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:55:17 This would be a good time to purge, but I'm not going to. Would be a good time. Buckle him up, strangling him with the other seatbelt. Is he? She honked with her ass. I know, but I'm like,
Starting point is 00:55:29 why didn't he wake up? one of my biggest pet pigeon horn movies when people move so slow like I know you're scared but it's like yeah but like the direction totally it's like just reach just quiet
Starting point is 00:55:42 and grab it let's go I just shot a horror short once and they're like walk as slowly as you can across and it's just like but why yep oh no she's stuck oh no oh my god
Starting point is 00:56:00 You can't get his door open. You've got to go around. Oh, no. Why are we taking a look at our surroundings? She said, oh, my God. Oh, yeah, he is. Yeah, she's about to get grabbed. This is a tug-of-war situation.
Starting point is 00:56:22 Maybe not. Interesting. Yeah, she can't. She has to find out who it is. Come on, please, let's just go. Stupid people go back. Okay, smart people run. We should just get the fuck out of here.
Starting point is 00:56:36 You should find a weapon and then go find out. We can just get the police. Yeah, when we come back, he'll be gone. Hey, wait a minute, I have to. Oh, Sid. Hmm. Is he not in there anymore? No, he's not in there.
Starting point is 00:56:53 Hallie's about to die. He's gone. What? Hallie's dead. Shoot. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, well, it's definitely not her. How'd he get out of the car?
Starting point is 00:57:04 You just opened the door, but they couldn't open the door? I don't know, he went through the window and they just didn't notice? All right. I guess, yeah. I don't know. If the killer is here also still, then there's two. Oh, Gail. Why is cotton covered in blood?
Starting point is 00:57:20 Yeah. This isn't what it looks like. I found Dewey. I tried to help my... No, no, Gail. Gail, Gail, wait, Gail! Gail! Gail!
Starting point is 00:57:29 Gail! I wonder if this is in, uh, if they're in school in Massachusetts. Perfew in full effect. You're stomping grounds. Yeah, well, just the Dunkin' Donuts earlier and like how many colleges are there? What's matter? I'm right here. This is an emergency. Give me the police.
Starting point is 00:57:45 Is it her? Could be. No, it's, but she's here. I don't know. Everybody we see on screen. Isn't her? I know. I know, right?
Starting point is 00:57:53 No, I still think it's the camera guy because it's got to be. And I believe that Cotton was trying to help Dewey, I think. then could it be the original killers did both of them die did we see them die i think we well we didn't see them buried yeah that's what i mean like yeah it could be that they're like so listen people get shot tons of times and in horror movies especially at Halloween they survive if this is going to be a film because i saw the film going then i'm like it's got to be the film guy, right? Oh.
Starting point is 00:58:38 Hi, Sidney. That was my scream voice. It was good. And by good, I mean really bad. Do you like scary movie? He's gonna be fun. Is that? Who sweater is that? Oh, no, that's her boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:59:03 That sucks. Is he alive? Oh. Oh, he might still be alive. Yeah, otherwise it doesn't be taped. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's good.
Starting point is 00:59:15 Thank God, God, sir. The killer, he's here. We're right here. Oh, no. You really want to trust your boyfriend. Don't you know history repeats itself? That sounds like Randy. It's raining.
Starting point is 00:59:31 No, no, it's the other guy. Oh, yeah, okay. That guy. So remember, that's who we initially thought because he had said why to go back inside. Right. But then it just felt too obvious. You mother. City's crazy.
Starting point is 00:59:45 You know me better than that. Oh. I gotta have a partner. I couldn't have possibly done this alone. No, no. No, no, no. It's okay, Darren. You got her.
Starting point is 00:59:57 Oh, what? No, he's. Yeah, he's lying. God, is she going to, like, kill her boyfriend and then realize that he had nothing thing to do with him? She doesn't trust herself. I get that. Sidney experiencing some deja vu. You are dead.
Starting point is 01:00:15 Dead! Oh, wow. Oh, my God. Oh. Such a good, like, poor. guy. And he's dying up there late. He's like, Jesus. Martyred.
Starting point is 01:00:35 Poor Derek. This was just the kind of boy you'd like to take home to mom. If you had a mom. Why did he do this? Yeah, I need motivation. Mickey is a sick fuck who wants to get caught. Yeah. See? Uh,
Starting point is 01:00:51 she wants to be famous. Oh, do you see this? It's just the beginning. A prelude to the trial. That's where the real fun is. Because these days, it's all about the trial. Because he loves a movie so much. Yeah. It's like theater.
Starting point is 01:01:03 They're dying for it. And I've worked hard to give the audience what they want. All right. We need Courtney Cox. Here come the letters. What are they going to come in? I don't know if she's going to use it to like whip him in the eye. What's that?
Starting point is 01:01:17 I fucking killed. Oh, yeah. She didn't use. Okay. Okay. Okay. Good. Good.
Starting point is 01:01:23 Good. I wouldn't stop there. Okay. So we still have Courtney Cox who can come help. Yeah. And we still have, um, Dewey? No, Dewey's dead. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:38 Randy. We have Randy. You got a Linda Hamilton thing going. Ooh, Terminator reference. I like it. So don't doing that. We're supposed to be watching it. Somebody's doing that.
Starting point is 01:01:54 The mystery guest waiting in the wings. What? What? Was it a cameraman? Oh God Oh She looks confused No, it's not her
Starting point is 01:02:07 Oh, yeah Oh, okay Oh, okay Interesting Mrs. Oh She didn't know I did not
Starting point is 01:02:19 What if Friday the 13th reference Yeah, I didn't For it to be the mother I've seen pictures of you This is 60 pounds a lot of work later oh the makeover you should try it wow you two are in this together met on the internet psycho website classifies hmm all he needed was little
Starting point is 01:02:40 guidance and nurture is only a mother can do told you it was gonna work mm-hmm oh god there's not gonna be a trial she didn't kill him but why why Wow, okay. Wow, really good effect, yeah, good death. Nicky was a good boy. Where's Randy? Yeah. Poor boy was completely out of his mind.
Starting point is 01:03:14 And you're not? No. You ruined my son's life. My motive isn't his 90s as Mickey's. Mine is just good old-fashioned revenge. You kill my kid. You're never going to get away with this. Let him try and track down the second possible.
Starting point is 01:03:28 killer, Debbie Salt doesn't exist. Ah. You're as crazy as your son was. Was that a negative, disparaging remark about my son? Billy was perfect. You did a bang-up job, Mrs. Loomis. Not wise to patronize me with a gun. Oh, we killed Randy?
Starting point is 01:03:46 Oh, we killed Randy. Randy. Oh. People saying that it's all the parents' fault. It all starts with the family. You want to blame someone. We killed Randy in the van. Didn't we?
Starting point is 01:03:57 Oh. Yeah, he got taken. Yeah. We killed him in the van. A lot of kills in this. My bad. Yeah, I've been waiting for him. We killed him in the van.
Starting point is 01:04:08 Sorry, guys. Isn't Mickey supposed to be dead? Oh, okay. There you go, girl. She's going to shoot one of those rows and the things are going to fall on her head. The brick thing. I hope so. I think so.
Starting point is 01:04:22 I think she's going to cut it. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Good, good, good. Nice weapon. Cut a. them all looking in oh let's go or she puts it right through the door yeah yeah good good start chopping oh oh where'd gail go gale wasn't down there uh i think i don't know
Starting point is 01:04:43 cool this poor theater is going to need a lot of rewiring yeah One of those bricks so fall in our head. Come on. Keep on. Because we saw that earlier. Yeah, it's like kind of how I'm feeling. Like, they were like, well, one's loose up here. It's literally the only person left alive is Gail.
Starting point is 01:05:13 Oh, whoa. I guess I was right about that, except it was a thousand bricks. Started with one, though. Oh, no. Oh, God. I feel like Gail's going to come. Yeah, and like kick her. Oh, the gun.
Starting point is 01:05:40 Oh. I know that Gail went into that thing, but... Yeah. Oh, cotton. Oh, it's cotton. Good job, cotton. I forgot. I have had a very, very...
Starting point is 01:05:54 Yeah. What? Sidney. Cotton meet Billy Loomis' mother. She's the killer Oh no See the freaking boots I got you
Starting point is 01:06:08 You're not to be sold are you He's pissed he wanted the air time Yeah Just let me kill her When you're the only survivor You're the star She sent you to prison for a year I got you got a real clear shot
Starting point is 01:06:22 Oh God is he gonna try to shoot Nev because she just got in his head Look at his face No, no, I think he's okay. Okay. No, Cotton, don't you listen to her? You did send him in prison for a year. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:06:35 It's like... Yeah, but I don't think so. I mean, she makes a good point. Gail's got to be alive somewhere still. Maybe you should, too. Bet you that Diane Saw interview's looking real good right about now. Oh, she'll say, I'll do it. Just say you'll do the interview.
Starting point is 01:06:50 I don't think... I don't think that's what it's about. I think it is. No, I just mean... I don't think that he didn't just ask. But I don't think he's going to hurt her. No way. Consider it done.
Starting point is 01:07:01 Oh, you're right. There you go. Yeah, because that's all I wanted. Consider it done. Did he miss? Oh, no, that was a good setup looking like the shot right there on our head. Consider it done. That's hysterical.
Starting point is 01:07:15 That's all he wanted. I go, no, it can't be that. Yeah. I guess it's as simple as that. Crazy dead face. She's like, you are a nut job. Yeah, totally. Over a Diane Sawyer interview.
Starting point is 01:07:28 Look, I want you to know that I would never, ever do anything to hurt you. Can we do this interview, like tomorrow, maybe? I said, you know, we should probably talk about what exactly happened here, you know? I mean, get our stories straight for the press statement. Gail? Yeah. Can somebody get me out of here? Are you all right?
Starting point is 01:07:45 I've been shot. Of course not. Of course not. She's so little. He could just like... Just bounced off my ribs. Jeez, Gail. You got more lines than a... What a line.
Starting point is 01:08:00 Geez, Gail, you got more lines than the cat. Can you one of those? You want to shoot her? Shoot the mask? Oh, because I thought they were staring at the mask. Yeah, they do. Good old Michael. Oh.
Starting point is 01:08:13 Oh, my God. Yeah, just to make sure. Just in case. Courtney Cox and Neff Campbell kind of look alike. Like, they're just standing there. They do. Yeah. And they both have short, dark hair.
Starting point is 01:08:30 I'm okay. Oh. This poor guy. We threw, I threw him under the bus for a good hour, yo. I threw him hardcore under. Look at him. He finished her book. He goes like the old days.
Starting point is 01:08:44 We'll do it. Where is winter collins? What is she seeing? Oh, God. What is she doing? Oh, is it Dewey? He's alive. How?
Starting point is 01:08:55 How? How? I can't believe you're alive. are you okay well he only stabbed maybe he only sat him a couple times when he went up on the wall he's already been stabbed in the back
Starting point is 01:09:05 I know I love that Dewey some old scar tissue saved his life wow so the stab before that's amazing that's a nice line she doesn't even go to get the scoop she wants to come with them she's really growing
Starting point is 01:09:20 I'm so happy I'm so happy Dewey's alive what happened in there Sidney can you tell us how it feels to be a hero oh he's asking he's doing it How to be a hero? What a question. Talk to cotton. He's the man you want to.
Starting point is 01:09:31 Yeah, there you go. Good job, Sidney. You know he wanted it. It's so bad. I love when she's a consider it done. Yeah. That's what it takes? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:42 I feel bad for this guy. He is crazy, but I do feel for him. Yeah. No one wants to give you this story more than I do. Unfortunately, you take my number and a price for everything. I love it. Well, I'll tell you one thing. I'll make a hell of the movie.
Starting point is 01:09:57 Oh, my God, Coton. That's great. Love that for him. Coton's crazy. Got to make up for that year and a half in prison, which you were just. Cotton just trying to be famous. For a crime he didn't do. Cotton's the original influencer.
Starting point is 01:10:11 Totally. Cotton's out here like, where's my social media? OG. Cotter would have crushed on Instagram. You're right. Yeah, I do feel really bad about thinking that it was, well, you stay on the credits. Yeah. Oh, Kevin William Simmer wrote this one too.
Starting point is 01:10:29 I feel very bad about thinking that it was the cameraman. Oh, yeah. For like a long time. But I also thought it was everybody else on planet Earth. Yeah. Damn. All right, I'm going to react to this part without terror. We got the end credits going on.
Starting point is 01:10:43 Good for you, Courtney Cox. Hell yeah, Sarah Michelle Geller. I wonder how early on. Yeah, Lori Metcalf. Killer. I don't know Elise Neal. I got to look her up. Jerry O'Connell
Starting point is 01:10:59 Yep Timothy Oliphant What a G Jada Pinkett Gone too soon in this I don't know how to pause it And it's still playing So it's just the credits
Starting point is 01:11:12 I was reviewing it without you Rebecca Gayhart I didn't realize Wow Interesting Oh Lisa Beach Casas The 90s music The soundtrack on all the 90s movies
Starting point is 01:11:25 Is just Oh yeah Julie Pell was an associate producer on this. This is that O.G. Julie Peck before she did Vampire Diaries, original. Love it. Heather Graham gone was like in one second of this. Yeah, she was in and out, man. Yeah, Josh Jackson.

Let's go back to the video. This is the Reject Nation. I would say we just finished watching Scream 2, but here's what actually happened.
Starting point is 01:13:45 We watched Scream 2. It was amazing. That was last week. Then we waited for the Patreon questions because that's what we do. And do Tara and I are remember every part of this movie in the meantime we're certainly going to try thank you to prepper for editing this down we know it's more difficult when we don't do everything at once we had a little bit of
Starting point is 01:14:02 behind the scenes technical difficulties we did but we are here to talk about the movie and to answer your guys patreon questions so let's do it Tara from what you remember girlfriend and that two-minute recap that we watched yeah how did you feel about the movie I liked it I thought it was fun and entertaining the fact that cotton wanted to be on Diane Sawyer so bad um i just love that part of that story but um i'm really glad dewey survived and gale is like she's up in his business now so i feel like you know they're going to be in love in no time cute um her yeah it was fun there was a lot of moving parts and we loved her hair her hair was sick the red and black it makes me want to do that i think i think you should i think that you should and the boyfriend's super cute he
Starting point is 01:14:49 died, but love him. Yeah, very true. And you knew him from other stuff. I did it, but you did. Yeah, the Diane Sawyer stuff, my favorite line in the whole movie, which is I remember from last week is her saying, consider it done. He's like, you know, I wasn't really going to hurt you. And it's like, I kind of think he was. I think that you were, Cotton. Like, for sure, Cotton, you needed to hear she was going to do Diane Sawyer with you. But listen, that's the price of fame. Agreed. So that's fine. Yeah, I thought this was really cool. A lot of huge stars. We got that Sarah Michelle Geller stuff, which was really cool.
Starting point is 01:15:23 Yeah. You know, just early, early young her, Jada Pinkett Smith stuff, really cool. That was cool. Yeah, a lot of great stuff. Shall we answer some Patreon questions? Let's do it. Jadel, if you were sitting in that opening movie theater during Stab and realize things were starting to feel a little too real, what would you do first?
Starting point is 01:15:43 Trust your horror instincts and run or try to convince everyone it's not part of the show. Oh, fucking. running the fuck out of there if i genuinely really knew then i would shout one thing like this isn't real while i was running yeah and clap your hands maybe try to grab a weapon but popcorn doesn't make much of a weapon so clap your hands is a better option maybe so to pop take the lid off that has some eyes could do some damage i like that that prepper has to sink things based on when we clap and you and I just continue to clap throughout the entire clap your hands baby here we go got and fernand major plot points leaked during filming including the identity of the killers
Starting point is 01:16:26 bummer because of this the script was rewritten extensively oh cool some pages were completed the same day the scenes were filmed do you think that that was noticeable no I don't no I do not I think that they know what they're doing by this time I mean even if it was just the second one the first one did so well that you know that most sequels don't live up to the first. So I think they were, they were, they were, went a smart way about it. They were when, I think they were, I think they were, they were smart. I think they did a good job because I guarantee you they had pretty good writers that they trusted on set that could say, let's deliver this, think about it, and then rework it. And I think that's great. Side note, what's on your finger? A Band-Aid. Oh. Does it look weird?
Starting point is 01:17:12 no it looks like a ring it's cool it looks like a mood ring oh god no it's a band-aid because i cut myself when i was decorating my my house oh for christmas it's a dangerous job but somebody's got to do it somebody's got to do it resident z what did you guys think about cotton being the red herring in the movie i did bite a bit i did bite a bit but the i did bite a bit but the reveal was definitely much better uh also laura maccalf plays unhinged so well she really does what does i did bite a bit but what does that mean? Oh he might he maybe he meant to say I did a bit but the meaning you oh I'm not sure I'm not sure I don't know what that means I have no idea maybe I did quite a bit. I did I thought that it was cool that he was the red herring because
Starting point is 01:18:02 we didn't know much about cotton but he was so heavily featured in the first one by name like that you know I I was glad I was suss of him for sure so I that worked for me. Yeah, I thought it was great. Going back to Captain Fernand's, I'm curious who the initial identities of the killers were that was leaked. I know. Was it cotton? Because now I'm like, oh, they must have switched it.
Starting point is 01:18:23 Yeah. Right? Last minute, it still worked. James Henry the second, which means there's a first, maybe a junior. I hope you two enjoyed Scream 2 with these films being whodunits and also being rewritten while filming to change the original killer. Wow, apparently that's known. Do you think it pays off for the killers to be revealed as who they are?
Starting point is 01:18:46 Even with Billy's mom being a character we don't know is his until, is his him until she reveals it with Sydney? Yeah, I thought it paid off. Yeah, because, I mean, sure, I kind of get where you're headed with this, James, in saying, well, if they had planned it way up top, we could have had more Easter eggs that were, you know, laid out in the script that maybe we could follow a bit. But I did like it, you know, at the very end that it's like, ah, it's, you know, Debbie Salt is not actually Debbie Salt. I get that maybe people could view that as a cop out where you're like, come on, you got to, you got to give us something here.
Starting point is 01:19:24 There's no way our heads would have gone there in you saying it's a whodunit. People find it fun to figure out who it is. In this one, there's just no way because we didn't know she was Loomis. She was obsessed with Gail the whole time. She was. I liked that it was relevant. We did think that was weird. So I thought it totally worked.
Starting point is 01:19:40 And it's not like we didn't know who Bill. his mom would have been like we know who billy was so it's not like we who that's true it made sense to me totally malique hey terran roxy hi malick this movie had a lot of kills which one here we go tara which one was the most shocking for you uh he is he's hugged up like jesus in the theater that was a good one i think sarah michel geller yeah at the very beginning she's so famous now. Yeah, that we didn't expect that when she's in the sorority house. And it's just kind of like, wait, whoa, we're going to really hurt.
Starting point is 01:20:17 Yeah. But of course, at this time, it wasn't. So, but that was the most shocking. And the Jada Pinkett, like how many times she got stabbed and then like making her way up to the thing and like bleeding, screaming, and then falling over. That was pretty cool to. The way it was done for sure. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:31 I like that. Hunter Preston. I skipped one. All right. Fun fact, it might have been missed, but Mrs. Luma's found. Mickey bragging about his other kills on a forum so before even becoming ghost face he was already a serial killer what found Mickey bragging about his other kills on a forum oh so before
Starting point is 01:20:55 oh yeah so he's saying that's how she said she found him so before he even became ghost face he was already killing people right right and that that that's what makes him great to fall down with it last and final j rushden lorry mackaff ending reveal so epic and the song by the partridge family was epic kind of end question was this great ending was this great ending i think was this a great ending of the movie there um yes i love the ending i like the ending too i liked it i i like that you know um we get that lori met cat She has justification for doing it, you know, in regards to her son. And then I really like that Cotton is so obsessed with fame that he basically threatens to kill Sid.
Starting point is 01:21:48 But Sid's like, got it. I'll give you an interview or whatever. I like it. Consider it done. Considered done was so great. So great. And like, what in, okay. And Gail going off a duet, I think is cute.
Starting point is 01:22:03 Yeah, me too. I like them together. I actually lied. I want to do one more because this answers our question. Okay. Jay Dell with the trivia in the original Scream 2 script, the killers were supposed to be Haley, Sydney's roommate. Okay.
Starting point is 01:22:16 And Derek, Sydney's boyfriend. But the script leaked online before filming, so they rewrote it and made the killers Mickey and Mrs. Loomis instead. I like that so much better because we already had the boyfriend. Yeah. I mean, that would have been way to. I would have gone, what are we doing here, Scream 2?
Starting point is 01:22:33 I honestly. But you thought it was the roommate at one point? I did. I did. And then it wasn't. And I did think the boyfriend at times, but, um, I think the roommate would have been a cool one, but the roommate would not have been, no, I would have been like, what are you guys doing? We already, we just, are you rewriting the exact same script and just changing names because
Starting point is 01:22:50 what in the actual F? Yeah, agreed. So I'm glad it went the way it did. All right, we like this. We're excited for the rest of the franchise. We can't wait to keep watching and we hope you scream alongside us. Later, Rejects. Thank you.
