Mostly what makes this movie for me is the ending in the twist. I really like that. And I did already suspect that Tommy was going to be the new Jason. So I'm glad we got to see that to fruition because that was my instinct in the beginning. So they did whip that around

And that was a fun ending I liked the bait and twist at the end That was probably my favorite part The rest of it I don't know I'm just still looking for another Friday the 13th to happen Not in a campground or a barn

And I really just want the people Who are fighting I really like that they made Reckless Reggie The friggin 10 year old boy The strongest one there I love that move and I love their relationship. I like the writing of the relationships in this more.

I just want to see more people fight back. I just, I like it when they write them a little bit smarter to like find a weapon. Let's try to at least fight back. So when you are stabbed, you put in some fight in there. Running is not as fun to watch either. Yeah. I have some news for you.

I looked him up on IMDB and found his name Miguel Nunez Jr. So I googled Miguel Nunez Jr. And it says, what happened to Miguel Nunez? 19-year-old Miguel Nuneas Jr. has been sentenced to 15 years in prison. I guess it could be a different Miguel.

It has a different one. It's a different one. Because he's an actor. He's worked. Did you look up, did you click his name in IMDB and then look at his other credits? Look at his other credits. She goes straight to Google. I went to him to me first.

I know, but I'm saying we got to see his credits because. I don't know any of this stuff. But he's working now. So it doesn't feel like you got out of prison and started working. I don't think so. family business, black and white, clue, but not with a U, C-L-E-W. Elite Society, 17 Days, Ravens Home, one episode. What are any of these? I don't know any. Are there ones from the 90s? He's, I mean, he is, he, I feel like in the 90s. He's 150 credits. Oh, God.

He was in an episode of Martin, an episode of Lois and Clark, and 12 episode of Rhythm and Blues, three episodes of Living Single. Okay, maybe that's all right.

Yeah. Let's see. I don't, like you and I didn't recognize him. He is now works as a producer. but I don't know any of the stuff that he has been an actor in, the stoning of Serania. Don't know it. Bobby Jones, stroke of genius, ultimate gift. In Friday 13th, there is top four credits. Okay.

The girl that looked like Sabrina Carpenter to me, this is her number one credit. She was also in general hospital. Okay. She looks like a soap opera. Totally. And she has not been in, she, okay, she was in, in an episode of Cheers in

89 and since then she's been in two things. Oh, so she quit acting basically. She was like, nope, peace out, done. Got it. Okay. So this, she was like, no, no. Interesting. Absolutely not. What can I tell you about this movie? Yeah, what's that trivia, girl? Let's see, I'm pulling

it up. Do I have to do everything around? You do? Really don't. We're a team. Friday 13th producer Frank Mancuso Jr. didn't go on with the films. Didn't get on with the film's director, Danny Steinman, and Kusu called Steinman a pervert and called the film a soft-core porn sex movie rather than a slasher horror film.

We were calling that out. There is a lot of unexplained nudity. Why do we have to have so much? The girl's just, like, lying there in bed. There's a lot of nudity in this. It's like... Oh, wait. Not even as much as you know.

Really? There was originally a three-minute-long sex scene with Deborah Vorhees, but the M-PAA forced them to cut it to 10 seconds. What? We didn't see a 10 second with... So that's Tina. Which one was Tina? Oh, oh, oh. Tina, where they're on the sheet.

Yes. Got it. So it was originally three minutes. I was... See what I called that in the beginning. I said before it's been the same producer and director. This time is, I think the first time the producer is different than the director. Unless your best buddy, same page is not going to turn out well.

Deborah Vorhees said in a recent interview, again, this is Tina, that when she went in for the audition, one of her things that caught the director's eye on her photo was that she had the same name as Jason. Nowadays, like Vorhees. Nowadays, she doesn't really get recognized, but some people freak out when they see her last name.

She tells them Jason Voorhees is her husband and that it's a real bitch getting bloodstains out of his laundry. That's funny. She's funny. This film was originally written to have Corey Feldman as the star, reprising the role of Tommy, but he was already working on the Goonies. I knew it. What do you mean you knew it? I knew it because he looks the same age as Goonies.

He's like the exact. Well, I thought when you were like, say, and then I was like Goonies. It has to be go in that second, yes. Therefore, the script was rewritten to have Feldman's appearance limited as a cameo. So then that's why they flashed forward. I'm not surprised because you got to go with Steven Spielberg. Without counting the laughing or yelling, Tommy Jarvis' character says 24 movies throughout the entire film. Okay.

Yeah, he barely spoke. Yeah. The opening dream, Tommy's opening dream was different in the original script and arguably made him seem more of a suspect later on. Opens as a continuation of the ending of the previous film as a young Tommy is taken out of the same hospital as Jason's corpse. Then in a sudden fit of psychotic rage, he winds up attacking half the hospital staff trying to get to the morgue to find Jason. Jason's bloodied body. Once he has finally found the body, Jason suddenly rises from the autopsy table

immediately after this. The adult Tommy wakes up in the van en route to Pinehurst House. I love that. Why was that not in this? I don't know. That was a terrible choice on producer and director to not add that in this.

That would be a phenomenal scene. I would have loved to see that. One month prior to the film's release in the United States, the MPAA, demanded that 16 scenes featuring sex or graphic violence be edited in order to merit an R instead of an X. Film ultimately required

nine trips to the MPA before finally granting an X rating. Oh, my God. He was into, he was maybe a pervert then. But also, like, why not cut some of the nudity so we could get some of the violence back? It's a horror movie. That's why I'm like, I agree with

what the producer's saying. Like, you wanted to probably not direct a horror movie and you wanted to see a lot of girls' tits. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Okay. Contrary to the popular belief of New Beginning was a

hit at the box office. Producer Frank VanCuso Jr. was so pleased with the take at the box office opening weekend. He called up director Danny Simon and claimed the numbers were like the golden times. Hmm. Weird. Oh, guy? This is the first film in the series where Jason is actually referred to by his full name, Jason Voorhees. Friday 13th, Part 2 and Friday 13th Final Chapter.

He's only referred to as Jason while he's not referred to by his name at all on Friday 13th, Part 3. Okay. Deborah Vorhe said in an interview that her mother was fine with her on-screen nudity, but she hated seeing her daughter killed on the big screen and literally took her days

to get over it. Literally took to her bed for three days after the original screening. I bet that would be a traumatizing of it. Ma'am. Actress Melanie Kinnaman and director Danny Simon did not get along for the making of the film.

Kineman claims Simon was hostile and unapproachable as a director. What else is he done? because it sounds like this was... It sounds like he was terrible. That's no good. Let's see. He...

This seems like the last thing... This is the last thing he did. Oh my God. I get you... He was blacklisted. Guaranteed. If you're making like softcore porn, everybody has problems with you,

but it's not just the producer. Once actors start having problems with you, you're in a huge shit hole. People do not want to work with you. He died in 2012. But he did this movie in 1985. and never did another, directed another movie again. Yep, not surprised.

You kind of dug that your own grave, buddy. That's tough. Yep, that's tough, tough, tough. Oh, well, those are the things. That's drama. It's like I did really like parts of this. I'm looking forward to six. I hear it's awesome.
