Going on vacation?
We're here for it.
With kids who turned the backseat into a courtroom drama
over whose tablet is louder, whose charger is faster,
and while watching the same cartoon for the hundredth time is the human right?
Yep, we totally have vehicles to handle that,
because whether it's a road trip or a business trip,
where your flight's delayed, your phone's at 2% and your dinner is,
whatever is open?
Yeah, here for that too.
Enterprise, we're here for it.
of the Camp Crystal Lake Nation.
I am Jackie.
This is Paige.
We are here for Friday the 13th part Trace.
Wicked excited because I'm pretty sure we finally get the ski mask.
We better get the mask.
Me and Paige have been pretty confused.
We're like, I don't understand.
I'm not confused, but we're very much anticipating.
I've been confused.
The iconic mask.
We're confused about.
Where is it?
Is he on the hockey team?
Did I say ski mask?
I meant to say hockey mask.
Wait, what's the difference?
One is for skiing.
A cloth one.
Yeah, it's like a cloth.
And then one is for playing hockey.
Oh, I wonder if there's hockey.
Well, I guess you can't really play hockey at camp.
It's like a whole hockey during the summer.
Let's do it.
I'm excited to go to camp.
Get rock.
Third summer.
This is going to be my summer, baby.
Here's summer in a row.
Let's go.

Drop us a comment.
Anyways.
Paige, what did you think?
I think this was really fun.
Probably my most fun of the three so far.
Really?
Yeah.
And I don't know if that was in part to the music, but the music was pretty uplifting.
The music is sick.
Which I kind of like that juxt position, I guess, too, a lot of the murder.
Yeah.
What do you think?
I really enjoyed it.
I mean, I told Paige this, but I feel like Friday the 13th is my favorite series that I'm on right now.
I'm having so much fun with it.
And it's just, it's really, it's really awesome to get to dive into one of the most popular franchises in horror.
And it's, it's just been so much fun.
I thought that this one was really interesting because it wasn't centered around a camp at all.
I still, I want to know how Chris got back to her bed, you know?
Oh, from her traumatic night a couple years ago?
Was it a premonition?
Because I'm still, I feel like Jason and the lore of Friday the 13th, I'm still left wondering,
are those really dreams or are they seeing something?
How does he stay alive?
Is Mrs. Vore?
He's really now in the water?
Yeah.
I love that idea.
And if Jason did drown, like when did he?
What, what, I want to know more about his origin.
still like from when he was a kid until like we just been living in the woods is is the super natural
element maybe that we've been missing that has given him all this power and strength i mean really
incredibly strong character right also really fun fashion in this one really fun fashion i really enjoyed
that what was your favorite kill i thought that the harpoon kill was really fun because i like the
idea that jason's also randomly a really good shot right you know because a lot of the other ones
seem very barbaric and just like random and just like hack,
ha, ha, ha.
And he had to be so close to them, too,
that he got her from that distance was special.
It was like the most different.
Yeah.
I really liked a lot of the eye stuff,
including that one.
But I think Rick's head crush did it for me.
And the iPop at that same time was pretty,
pretty fun.
Yeah.
I don't know how I felt about the,
the biker gang like addition.
I kind of like when it's everyone more the group,
when the group is.
more central, but then again, that reveal of the main guy, the spider guy, spider jacket guy,
coming in at the end and helping her was also really fun.
That was fun.
I wish that we had more, a little bit more time with them together.
Yeah, with him together, even if he wasn't part of the group.
Yeah, that would have justified it, I think, in my head a little bit more for me.
Yeah, I don't know if I totally understood why the bikers were there.
I don't think it's my favorite so far.
I think number two was my favorite.
I'll tell you what else I really.
liked about this one too. I like that we had a prankster all the way along because I just think
it was a great setup so many times for scary things to be dismissed. Do you know what I mean?
Yeah. Like with Shelly right off the bat being the guy that we know is going to pull pranks and then
even when he dies, the girl doesn't believe him, you know? Yeah. But I feel like that sets a tone for
the friendship among all of them to and even when Chris and Rick were going around. They're like,
this is not a funny prank. But I mean, in real life,
If you were with a group of friends, that's what I would assume.
Yeah.
I know.
I would just immediately go to, oh, somebody's tricking me.
Right.
Because you're not going to assume that there's a crazy psycho killer.
Like, that's crazy.
You know?
I actually really, really liked that set up a lot.
All right.
Do you want to go to some questions?
Let's do it.
You know, you can have your whole life together while your credit still tells the story of who you used to be.

Thank you once again to kick off for sponsoring this video.
All right.
Captain Fernandez,
hello,
writes in and says they used a different actor to play Jason because you called that out,
I thought.
I thought, yeah.
They used a,
yeah,
they used a different actor to play Jason because the production moved to
California from the East Coast and they didn't want to cover the travel
and lodging for the stunt double
who played him for the mass scenes in part two.
Could you tell it was a different Jason?
If so,
did you prefer this Jason or the one from part two?
Oh, actually, I have a
I don't know if I could tell it was different
for some reason. I honestly thought maybe
it was Rick for a little bit because of the
thick neck.
Rick the thick neck.
Yeah, that makes me sad for that
original stunt guy actually.
I don't know if I could say which one
I preferred. I enjoyed
seeing Jason's deformities a little bit more
in this one. I feel like they gave us a few good
shots of that and it looked
that pretty good i mean again i know i'm going to get shit for being the villain's sympathizer but um careful
page i i i like that i feel like he always has like there are elements of like seeing his eyes a lot that
um just make me feel for him a little bit not that i want people to die i just i i get it i like that
i like part two jason better why because like we saw it again when they were giving us the flashback to
when they were showing us the entire crazy scene at the end of part two.
Something about, especially when she's pretending to be Jason's mother,
that one eye looking at her,
and then just like the mummy, like the mummy look.
Like how much that actor was able to convey just with the one eye,
it made me really feel for Jason as a villain,
like to, you know, kind of jump off what you're saying.
And I just don't know if I got that as much with this one.
Like the other actor, I don't know.
I don't know.
And I could tell that something was different.
Well, there was not so much of the, we talked about this in the first one,
that like, because it was only one eye, too, it made him very, like, childlike and vulnerable.
And the bag was really kind of kidlike, too, where the mask definitely feels more scary.
Yeah, it felt like a different villain than we've had before, you know.
It was really interesting.
Totally.
Jaden Rhodes.
Hi, Jaden.
Hi, Jaden.
This is usually called the Disco Jason movie.
Hell yeah.
Literally.
Which I think fits perfectly.
But these first four Friday the 13th, in my opinion, all kind of feel like the same movie.
I can understand that.
But with just a different flavor, it's just this movie out of the four is easily the worst of the bunch.
I think it just lacks fun, interesting characters, and a good final girl.
I'm curious if y'all agree.
We haven't seen the fourth yet.
Yeah, we haven't seen the fourth yet.
But I liked Chris, though.
I feel like she had a little more gusto, maybe, than the other girls.
I really liked Chris.
I agree that maybe it didn't feel as fun as the first two.
I completely actually agree.
And it's not that I didn't have fun, but maybe it was just the disco music that got me.
I think it was just the disco music.
I think if it was the same exact movie, but with, like, if we took the disco way and gave it the same
score as the first two, I think you would have been more bored.
Yeah, maybe.
But I will say, also, I liked the stoners.
The stoners were like.
The prankster guy.
But I felt like it all were pretty short.
I don't know.
Because I don't know.
Because I don't know who else stands out in the other two, except for the wheelchair guy.
Oh, we had a stoner's.
We had stoners.
We had prankster.
We had the wheelchair guy.
Well, just because the character descriptions and the archetypes are more interesting,
it doesn't mean that their dialogue.
Like, you know.
The dialogue was definitely lacking in this one for sure.
Yeah, I don't know.
It wasn't as fun.
It wasn't as fun.
I don't know.
It wasn't as fun.
Like in the other one, like, they're, like, freaking, they're freaking going to get a beer.
And, like, wheelchair guy's freaking falling down the stairs.
And he's, like, flirting and, like, are they going to hook up?
And then, friggin' ginnie goes into the freaking house.
And then they get saved by the bed and, like, friggin.
And then they're playing, like, Strip Monopoly and, like, the friggin' first one, like, freak.
I was going to say, I think the first one still has the most creative kills.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Because I remember for two, we were kind of like, we felt a little jipped because they just cut away really quickly.
Yes, you're right.
You're right.
Yeah.
So, yeah, I don't know.
I'm excited for four though now, Jaden.
Mm-hmm.
I agree.
And then I think the next question, which is by Jay Rushden.
Hi, Jay.
Well, also, I think, answers a lot more for you, Jaden.
But Jay Rushden asks, what do you think of the original 3D?
I thought it was a cool.
It was a great attempt.
I feel like maybe if I had watched it when it came out, like, hell yeah.
Yeah, in the theater too.
Like, in 82.
Yeah, it might have felt really crazy.
you know yeah but i mean i give them props for
i thought it was cool i thought it was cool and fun i thought it was cool and fun but i don't know if
i think it scared me less because i was just focused on like it almost took me out of the kill
bit yeah i mean honestly what i think about the most was the yo-yo because that was the most
impressive pulling the focus in and an out just so quickly i wonder how many times they had to do
that show i wonder how many times she really got hit in the face with a yo-yo yeah because
then her then she said like that was close
And it's like you hit her in the face.
It looked like you got hit.
Ridiculous.
Jaden is telling me that I like the hockey mask look.
No.
I do like the hockey mask look a lot.
I like the bag look better.
Really?
Yeah.
Yeah, the bag was a little.
The bad one's awesome.
Honestly, I like his real face the most.
That's the scariest to me.
But again, like you made the comment too, is the fact that he wants to cover his face.
Again, just makes you feel a little.
a bit bad for him, you know?
Like, he knows that he's scary.
But I'm wondering, I'm really curious to watch number four,
because why does he stop at the mask?
Does he stop at the mask?
I also don't know.
Yeah.
I assume because that's,
I feel like the mask is going to be with us
through the end of this now.
I think it's going to be, yeah.
Thank you, Shelly.
Is there an end?
Thank you, Shelley, for bringing that mask,
harpoon and wetsuit on the camping trip.
Jesus, Shelly, come on.
All right.
Final question from Jay Rushton.
More about the mask.
Jay says, what do you think of the origin of the mask,
which is Shelly?
Oh yeah, I love that.
Oh, I'm like, I wanted it to be something different.
Really?
I was like, I'll think of Shelly every time now.
Well, that's why I don't like it.
I didn't like Shelly that much.
So I don't want to think of Shelly.
You don't want to think of Shelly?
No.
I wish it was something else.
Because he called that girl a bitch.
Yeah, he called that girl a bitch.
We liked him until then.
We liked him until then.
Did I like him?
I felt bad for him.
But then, I don't know, like the first prank thing, like one, the guy warned him before the trip
to not do the prank shit.
And then he tried it once and it didn't work.
And then he did it like two more times.
Yeah, and he was like, I want you to like me, so I keep trying to scare the shit out of you.
Yeah, it's just like, it's a little immature.
This isn't, you know, this isn't, we're not playing hopscotch on the, on the assholes.
Yeah, Shelley gets serious.
In fourth grade.
Like, if you want a girl to like you, like, ask her about what her hobbies are, like, ask her to play a game.
Like, you know, like, let's play some, I don't know, like, let's do a puzzle.
Well, they took on those bikers together.
I think he felt a little bonded with her after that.
you know, I guess.
But also, violence is not impressive.
It's not a way to impress women.
Agreed.
I'm excited for number four.
Me too.
Also, wait, yeah.
Okay, I accidentally, I did get what?
I thought you were going to say you accidentally saw something from four.
No.
Oh, okay.
But I saw the names popped up on Prime, and it was like, Jason lives.
And I'm like, wait, what?
I don't know.
I just want to see the journey.
I know there's a crazy journey.
and then I'm pretty sure like, don't like Freddy and Jason or Freddie and, no, who fights?
Some of them fight each other.
I want to watch those.
I want to get to those.
Is that real or do I make that up?
Like, nightmare on Elm Street.
I think so.
Like, isn't there like a Freddy versus Jason or something?
There's definitely a Freddy versus Jason movie.
Do tell us.
Is Freddy there?
Freddy Jason and who else?
Michael.
Maybe Michael wasn't invited to that fight.
Anyways.
Anyways, we're going to find out.
We'll find out.
And watch with us.
Yeah, watch with us.
Let us know which of the three is your favorite so far.
That's it for us.
That's it for now.
Keep your pitchforks close and your friends closer.
Oh my gosh.
Yes.
I think I flipped that.
Never alone.
All right.
Bye, bye, guys.

Don't you wish you could just hit skip on the worst parts of your life?
You know, the same way you can skip an ad?
I get it.
I'm Siaya and I live in Ice Cove.
I've made some questionable decisions that didn't end up the way I planned.
and today I'm still figuring it out.
Somehow things usually get worse before they get better.
Apparently, that's how I roll.
So bundle up and come along for the bumpy ride.
