Give it, give this video a like if you liked it. comment down your favorite out of the six that we've watched so far and hit subscribe so you can and some of your favorite kills yes send us your favorite kills okay now we can get into the review page what did you think i really enjoyed this was a quick one it was a really quick one it felt but it also felt wait like sorry in the credits i'm noticing songs by alex cooper that's amazing alice cooper alice cooper alice You are familiar She's been a long one for Jackie Guys It's been a long one for Jackie
Starting point is 00:02:32 Alice Cooper Yeah That's really cool It's very 80s That's so very appropriate Like he did the whole thing That's awesome I think that this was my favorite
Starting point is 00:02:45 So far Because it really felt kind of more It felt different in a lot of ways It felt like a monster movie Instead of so much of like A who done it A whodotid slasher. Yeah, because the first few it was still like, oh, is it going to be Jason or his mom?
Starting point is 00:03:01 And then we had the random paramedic. I really like that kind of monster, zombie element to this one. Me too. I love the tone of it. It's so much fun. Yeah, it was funny, too, without being, like, too funny? Like I was saying, it felt like there was a lot of humor in the script, but the kills were not as silly to me. And that made it a little bit more scary.
Starting point is 00:03:29 It was like intentionally trying to be funny instead of like being so cheesy that it was funny on accident. Right. It was, it was, I mean, it feels weird to say it was grounded because it is like a monster movie. But it felt like aware of what it was trying to do. Yeah. And like it was, it wasn't, there wasn't so much horny teenagers either. I don't think we had any boobs. We didn't have any boobs.
Starting point is 00:03:50 We just had the one sex scene. We finally got the kids at camp who. were okay in the end. But I think that also built a lot of really good suspense for just knowing that there were children around mostly unattended entirely. Yes, mostly unattended entirely the first time. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:04:13 I really, I'm really excited for it feels like we're entering into a new era with the Friday the 13th films now. And I'm really excited for it. I think that you hit the nail on the head of like it feels more like a monster movie than like a traditional cheesy teen slasher, which I did love that era of them. Yeah, totally. But it makes sense that they would have to kind of take a hard pivot. We got a mature a little bit. Which I think that they tried to do with having it be a copycat Jason.
Starting point is 00:04:45 But like this is like a tonal pivot that I just think like really works. Like I don't know. I love how campy it is. I love how fun it is. That still stays so true to it also, the campiness of it, right? And it was still fun and slashery. Yeah. But also, like, I'm glad that they made up for how, just like how booby and X, X, X, X, X, X, X.
Starting point is 00:05:12 Yeah. The last one was pretty rough. It was, like, rough to get there. It was just, like, bad. It was bad and weird. But we can pretend like that didn't happen. Yeah. Let's forget about five.
Starting point is 00:05:23 Let's let's let's just forget about five. I had a thought about comparing it to Halloween. And I'm not, we're getting pretty far in the Halloween series, especially like considering we've watched all the new ones. But I don't know. I feel like with the Halloween movies, there's so many that are like so completely different and so completely like different timelines and this and that. And what I do love about Friday the 13th is that like the through line is always there.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Right. It kind of at least understands what it is and what it's supposed to be. And then you pull up the dial on like different elements of it depending on the movie. But like, yeah, it's just, I don't know. I'm just, I'm having so much fun. I really love this series and I really never wanted to end. We got a long time to go, sister. I think we're all right.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Yeah. What else was I going to say? Oh, I was talking to one of my friends about these films and just about how, okay. So Jason drowned when he was little. and then it was his mom killing people but then suddenly it is Jason and it's like well did he never drown was he living in the woods was he undead before and now he's double undead
Starting point is 00:06:30 like what is what what maybe his mom did some voodoo mommy stuff and kind of brought him back too never really drown like does anyone have an answer can someone tell me give us some lure can we have some lure
Starting point is 00:06:44 I was like I missed I missed the trouble I missed the trouble I'm not grounded I'm not mad. Oh, also I really love the character of Megan. Yeah, Megan was great. She was just like a boss bitch. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:06:59 I was into her. Like, she felt like a very, very strong female character who knew exactly what she wanted and like went after it. Yeah. Yeah. And I loved the Bonnie and Clyde elements of it all. I thought it was so fun. Yeah. You know?
Starting point is 00:07:11 Yeah. Especially with her dad being the sheriff. Like, that was sweet. It kind of remind me of like the preacher's kid kind of thing. Like always. It's, of course she's going to be. the bad girl, you know? Like, in comparison to, like, other couples that we've seen in the Friday the 13th series,
Starting point is 00:07:25 this is such a random tangent, I think. But I really like them together. Like, I don't know. They weren't, like, she just met him in the jail cell and she was like, hell yeah. And then they did, they were a great team together. And we've seen a lot of like, teamwork right away instead of, like, right away. In just teenagers having sex and like trying to have sex. I'm like, wait, this is like a healthy relationship.
Starting point is 00:07:48 or, yeah, it was, yeah. I mean, they teamed up and and defeated Jason together. And protected the children. And they protected the children. Like, I like this one. It felt like much more well-being can't be like so much more mature. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:08:04 All right, we mean, we we made it to get into some questions. Let's do it. My brain's not working anymore. My brains are failing us. They're failing. I once had one of those nights where I forgot to grocery shop. So I opened the fridge like six times as if food was going to
Starting point is 00:08:18 respawn. So I made dinner out of one piece of flavorless keto bread, peanut butter, and leftover grapes. That's not dinner. That's what they slide under the door when they're trying to get information out of you, which I've tried on many people before. But that is a day where I wish I had Huell sitting there. And honestly, that's why Huell has stuck with me for, wow, like over two years now. I use it whether we're sponsored or not. That is the truth. Used it during my cut last year. Coy also drank it so often during his cut for his wedding. He looks great still.
Starting point is 00:08:52 I mix black addition into my yogurt all the time, and I keep the ready to drinks these stocked at the office because the crew actually drinks them. And what separates Hewell for me from a lot of drinks or powders is it could actually be the meal, you know? Black addition, the powder starts at less than $3 per meal, has 40 grams of protein, mixes with water or milk in about 30 seconds, and it's a complete meal you have instead of food, not a shake on, top of food with 27 essential vitamins and minerals, artificial colors, sweeteners, or flavors.
Starting point is 00:09:20 And the RTD bottle is the grab and go version, 35 grams of protein, seven grams of fiber, under five bucks a meal. So next time your alternative is some depressing collection of leftovers. Have Hewell ready instead. New customers get 15% off online at H-U-E-L.com slash rejects with code rejects. New customers only. Thank you to Hewle for partnering and supporting our channel yet again. All right, Jamie Gore, the coolest name I've ever heard again, writes in again this week. Hi, Jamie, and says, my personal favorite Friday just understands the camping is the best. What did y'all think of the new zombie slash undead Jason? I always thought it was cool to see how he figures out his new powers.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Like, whoa, I can do that. Yeah. Yeah, well, like you said, too, it seemed very intentional. And what was the word you used? Used a great word. Oh, shit. Like militiary. Militianary? No.
Starting point is 00:10:16 Oh, wait. What the fuck did I say? I don't know. You used a great word for it though. Because it was like he was utilitarian. Utilitarian. Yeah. Like he was finding. He had his tool belt, but he also didn't seem to struggle much with them. Well, wait, because yeah, I feel like in the first four,
Starting point is 00:10:35 because we don't see him in five, in the first four, he felt a little like, I could really see the little boy Jason in him, of like he would like burst through a door and then be kind of surprised that he did it. Yeah. Yeah. But in this he was just like, I'm walking into the river and now I crush your body. Yeah. I fold you in half. Yes. And again, because it didn't feel so silly, it felt scarier in those ways while still maintaining the campiness, which I think is what Jay is saying too. It was like whatever was the quickest thing, including just folding a body in half or just.
Starting point is 00:11:13 like punching through the leg like it just throwing something at their head. It just through the window. Yeah. It just happened. You know? Yeah. The RV, the face through the RV. Was that the bathroom door?
Starting point is 00:11:24 Oh yeah. That was crazy. Actually, I was going to say it was like through the outside of the RV. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I feel like that was actually the only tiny bit of a struggle that we saw was in that bathroom of the RV. Yeah. Right?
Starting point is 00:11:36 Everybody else, he was just like, nope, you're done. You know? You're done. Yeah. Up, your head is off. All three of your heads are gone. Uh, good. Bye.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Um, yeah. I agree. We agree, Jamie. Yes, Jamie. We like, yes. We like undead Jason. We like zombie monster Jason.
Starting point is 00:11:56 We like. We agree. Mm-hmm. Next one. I am not going to be able to read that name. Hasana Ali. Hasana Ali. Thank you, Jackie.
Starting point is 00:12:06 I think I hope so. Tommy. Thank you. I hope we got it. Hosanna. Tommy Jarvis. is considered to be one of the best final guys in horror.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Final guy! Yes. Do you prefer the Tommy Jarvis era of the franchise or the earlier films where each movie had a different final girl? I like the boy. I think that's deserving. Also any updates on if you guys reacting to a nightmare on Elm Street
Starting point is 00:12:34 franchise, definitely important to watch those before you get to Freddy versus Jason. You know what? We don't have an update yet. We don't have an update, but we are... Greg would never make us watch Freddy versus Jason without watching A Nightmare on Elm Street. So we do not have it confirmed, but. Yeah, I think that we are.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Just keep commenting it. I need everyone to comment it. We're going to go in order. We're going to do things properly. We're going to do things properly this time because Little John and I did not for the Halloween series. You did it? No. On purpose?
Starting point is 00:13:08 No. Like on purpose by me and Little John or on purpose by like. I don't know. You're saying it strange. I'm not saying it strange. No, because, like, we didn't think that anyone would want to see the original Halloween's. Oh. So you guys didn't go in Con-O-O-Chi-Col.
Starting point is 00:13:23 Original Halloween and then the timeline with Jamie Lee Curtis. And now we went back to, like, Halloween 2, 3, 4. Oh, that's hard to appreciate the progression, huh. I would argue yes. Yeah. To your question, though, I enjoy having a final guy. I feel like we still are always looking for final girls. is kind of nice to mix it up a little bit.
Starting point is 00:13:45 I like the final guy and girl. Yeah. Well, yeah, we had a final couple here, didn't we? You never see that. We don't. You're right. You literally never see that. No, you're totally right.
Starting point is 00:13:55 Both of them made it. Amazing. I wonder if we're going to see Tommy again, though, because I've actually really enjoyed watching him grow up because we had a kid, we had teenager, now we have young adult. I'm really curious if he's going to be in the next one because he woke up. So, yeah. I really love both of them.
Starting point is 00:14:16 I actually can't pick. I really like both. And that's, yeah. If it were up to me, I really like one, two, and three, and then I would do four and six. Can I skip five? I'm wondering if maybe for this time,
Starting point is 00:14:33 especially having a final girl was the more unique choice, really. Just because it wouldn't be so, it wouldn't be so realistic maybe in previous horror films that the girls would survive, right? I mean, it started with Jamie Lee. The hero and things, you know what I mean? But like the concept of the final girl. I really need to finish my book, Men, Women, and Chainsaws.
Starting point is 00:14:58 I took a break. I'm reading Bell Hooks right now. No, it's about how just a role of women in stereo, you know, the arc of the archetype of the woman in horror films. But part of me felt like I had to stop reading it because I don't want any spoilers for like... Right, and we are deep in this now. Once we finish these and if we get put on a nightmare,
Starting point is 00:15:20 then I feel like I can watch it. Or read it. Read it again. You got a ways to go, sister. My brain, you guys. Let's go to the next one. All right. Thomas Doherty writes in and says,
Starting point is 00:15:30 Hi, Thomas. Do you think the Friday of the 13th franchise takes it too far by taking a more extreme supernatural approach to explain how Jason is still alive? Or does it add something more to the character and franchise that he has become more than just a man? P.S. just wanted to thank Jackie and Paige for these wonderful reactions and for helping me find my love for this franchise again. Yay! We're having so much fun, so we're glad that you're quick too.
Starting point is 00:15:53 Thanks for watching with us, Thomas. Yeah, thank you. Not being mad at us for not getting stuff. It sounds like you're enjoying it with us. I love zombie, Jason. Yeah, I do too. And like you said, it's kind of, it does kind of provoke the question, like, was he kind of undead the whole time?
Starting point is 00:16:11 Well, no, and I'm, and I'm, that's my question for y'all. I mean, there's definitely been a supernatural approach to this from the beginning. Really? Yeah. I, yeah. But I think it, it takes it a step further to, like, just commit to making him a zombie versus in the Halloween movies, it's, it's like, well, Michael Myers is evil. He is supernatural in a way that he has superhuman strength.
Starting point is 00:16:33 It feels like he can't die. But I really like that they fucking committed and they went, no, here's Jason coming out of the grave. Yeah, well, and here's Jason. getting struck by lightning to resurrect from. I loved how like vintage horror-esque the opening sequence felt with that, you know? And his little unhinged friend chewing on that straw. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:56 So great. Yeah. I'm loving it. I'm really, really, really, really, really loving it. And I do think that we were getting to a point where the formula for the first four really worked, but we were running out of, yeah, places to go with that. Especially like with the third when we had the random biker gang. I was like, eh.
Starting point is 00:17:16 I still really like the third. I don't. I didn't. I understand and I respect you. And that's your opinion. I really like this one, though, too. Yeah, agreed. Three and five are still bottom for me.
Starting point is 00:17:27 But anyways, next question. Three is bottom for you? Oh, Jackie. It's right above five. Captain Fernandez. Hi, Captain. Hi, Cap. This is one of my favorites in the series.
Starting point is 00:17:38 because of the self-aware humor. That James Bond-inspired title sequence makes me giggle every time. Do you to appreciate the humor? Did you think it was too much for a horror movie? I loved it. I loved it, too. I am glad it was still there. Like I said, there were surprisingly pieces of it that felt pretty grounded to me also.
Starting point is 00:17:58 And it was, there was humor without being just like total farts and butts and boob jokes, too. Like, there was some clever humor. The way that the dialogue was written of it just being so goofy. Right. That it's funny. I don't know. It's such a, it's a very thin line to write with, to walk with script writing. And I think it really worked.
Starting point is 00:18:21 Well, and it takes a decent, decent actors to, to execute it. Oh, my God. The actors in five. Oh. Oh, it was awful. But again, I think that was a lot of bad direction also. Well, yes. Yeah, I agree.
Starting point is 00:18:36 All right. Vincent Cole says, hi Jackie and Paige. Hi, Vincent. This is the first of the series that doesn't have any new to do it. None. We noticed, Vincent. We noticed. Just the sex scene, but everybody was covered. Yeah. It also doesn't do the whole young adults go to a specific location and try to hook up storyline. Do you like that the main goal of the movie starts off with and continues to be purely about stopping Jason or do you miss how it was in the previous movies? Yes. Yeah. No, I think we need to be stopping Jason. especially when we have children to protect. I like that and I love the previous movies as well. I think I'm just like yes to all of the above. Yeah, but we were also, we were ready for a little progression. Yeah, we were ready for a progression.
Starting point is 00:19:18 Yeah, like I couldn't just watch eight different couples try to have sex and get double penetrated through mattresses anymore. No, I need a break, but now I'm ready for that again. Yeah. These were definitely more creative scenes even if the kills weren't as
Starting point is 00:19:34 slap sticky. They were like the RV. What else do we have? We had a lot of the woods. What else do you remember? Oh, sorry. I zoned out. What are some of your favorite kills in this one?
Starting point is 00:19:48 I mean, the RV really stands out. I mean, Sissy's head popping off was pretty. I mean, in half. Yeah, just folding the sheriff in half. This one doesn't have my favorite kills of the franchise. But see, I thought that they were like a little more scary because they weren't. So fast. Yeah, I guess so.
Starting point is 00:20:07 I mean, the triple machete was great. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, even the girl kind of drowning in that puddle of mud with their credit card. Yeah. Now all I can think about is demon in that porta potty. That was great. That was actually a great kill.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Oh, but that one was so, oh, yeah, it was so potty humor. This one, oh, I remember. My question is, my question is, I wonder how audiences perceived this one after being so used to nudity with Friday the 13th? That's true. Like, oh my God, what a rip off. Right. There's kids now.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Well, I don't know. I don't think that five was so well received. So maybe they knew they needed to make a little bit of a directional change. Five did suck. Yeah. Is this me? Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:53 Dan. Dan Gehyn. Hi, Dan. Hi, Jackie and Paige. Jason lives is often in discussion for the best of the series, a long part two and the final chapter. What's the final chapter? Which one is that one?
Starting point is 00:21:05 The final chapter is the one with baby Tommy. Okay. It's part four. Okay. So two and four. What did you all think of? Tom? Tom.
Starting point is 00:21:15 Tom? Oh, cool. spelling. Matthews as Tommy. Tom Matthews as Tommy. And how do you think he compares against the characters as depicted in the last two movies? I think he's name. The actor's name is Tom also.
Starting point is 00:21:34 Yeah. I see. Okay. What do you think of Tom Matthews as Tommy? How do you think he compares against the character as depicted in the last two movies? I really like him as Tommy in this film. I really think that whoever the fuck the Tommy was in part five, like, again, I think let's just pretend like five didn't happen. I mean, but he wasn't particularly bad.
Starting point is 00:21:53 He was probably one of the better actors in five. Well, yes, but. But he also didn't say a lot. But he didn't say a lot. And his character was weirdly, like, aggressive. Like, yeah. They were just a few, like. emotional outbursts.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Through that guy across the table. Yeah. I don't know. Part of me does wish that, no, I don't actually. I was going to say part of, for a second, I wondered if I would like them to acknowledge how weird five was and like just acknowledge like part of a story. Make a joke or two about it at least. No, like let's, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:23 We all are ready to erase. Let's all erase it. I love, yeah, I wish that five didn't happen. Compared against the last two. I mean, we loved little baby Tommy. We loved baby Tommy. I just cannot stop thinking about him, cut his hair in the mirror. The way that the actor, I know, the way that the actor was in this, like how he was kind of soft.
Starting point is 00:22:47 It made sense that he, I could see the connection between this version of Tommy and the version of Tommy in the final chapter adding up a little bit more. Right. You know? Yes. Like we knew what he had been through as a teenager. Oh, God. What a life. this poor guys had.
Starting point is 00:23:06 And yeah, that he would feel responsible for really trying to notify everybody that Jason was back. And so Adam about like, I mean, he went as far as to have them chase him back to the grave to try to get the sheriff to see. So, yeah, I mean, I think it does make sense for the progression of Tommy's character. Yes. Yeah. Right?
Starting point is 00:23:32 No, I think so. I agree. is kind of asking us. Guys, I'm sorry, my brain is kind of like, it is 11, and I think my brain's not working so much, too much anymore. I had something else to say, but it was, oh, just also with Howie related to Megan, I think it makes sense that he would take a bit more of like a backseat in a romantic relationship because of, like, growing up the youngest, having sisters.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Yeah, and your mom dying, and also your mom dying. Yeah. All right. Leano 3 says, this movie has a plot hole, which is why Jason, which is, this movie has a plot hole, which is, why was Jason a serial killer buried instead of cremated, as stated in part 5? That would have required somebody paying for his body to get that treatment. That's because in the script, there was some dialogue in the police station where Tommy asked why Jason wasn't cremated. And the sheriff responded by saying, we were going to, but some asshole paid to give Jason and his mother a proper burial. I remember that.
Starting point is 00:24:31 Yeah. In the original ending, it was going to get revealed that. Jason's father, oh, Elias was the one who paid for Jason and his mom to get buried and was probably planning to resurrect them both somehow. This was going to set up a sequel exploring his backstory. Unfortunately, it was never shot, but a short, recreated storyboard is available on YouTube with the great figure actor returning to dub his dialogue. His death and the couple making out in the forest was added in reshoots to add more kills, and it offers the only glimpse of Elias. do you all think this ending should have been kept
Starting point is 00:25:03 and would have been interesting if Jason's father was featured in a sequel? Absolutely, because I actually forgot and I remembered them saying something about Jason's dad. And I think we even said like, I literally can't remember right now. There was something about Mr. Vorhees. That's what they said.
Starting point is 00:25:20 Mr. Vorhees. Who's Mr. Vojee? Yes. And we, and we lightly touched on that. I cannot believe throughout all of this they haven't done a little bit more. of Jason's backstory. I mean,
Starting point is 00:25:33 maybe before even he went to the camp and died, right? Where is his dad? What's going on? I also, I want another movie to go back and touch more on, I really liked them trying to play towards his psyche, like especially in the second one. Yeah. It's in the second one and the fourth one.
Starting point is 00:25:52 Maybe that's why those are argued to be the best. Right, right, because we had the, I want more of that. The gal that was studying child psychology. And then we had Tommy who tried to, assume like being childhood Tommy right yeah yeah he did his fuck-ass wig and yeah I mean we obviously are here for the backstories and all about the childhood trauma mental health aspect of all of these things so would I like a backstory of Tommy hell yes hell yes and I
Starting point is 00:26:23 want to know where mr. Voorhe says yes all right Spence Spence hi Jackie and Paige hey Spence I'm glad you finally, I'm so glad you finally made it to this one. This is my favorite portrayal of Jason. I love the fact that the director, Tom McClecloughlin, wanted the kills to feel nearly super unnatural. I feel it introduces us to a meaner, crueler, Jason. Do you all feel like the kills in part six feel meaner or more vicious than the previous entries? Entrees, yeah. And how do you feel about, um, How do you feel about it now? Now a totally supernatural Jason. Yes, we covered this.
Starting point is 00:27:08 Yeah, I agree. They do feel they feel more. They're not silly. They're not silly at all. They're not silly. No. And it feels like he is more self-assured and it's not on accident. Like it does not feel like Jason is that little boy anymore.
Starting point is 00:27:23 Like we've seen him grow up in the last five movies and he knows exactly what he's doing. And it does make him a meaner. Yeah. And exactly, I'd say that more vicious feels like the right word because he just like is going with his gut, you know? Yeah. I mean, I totally just remember too. The first kill, he just ripped that guy's heart out. Yeah, that was crazy.
Starting point is 00:27:43 No, I forgot about that. I forgot about that. Which is, again, like, so interesting because we have made it to such a supernatural kind of state that the, that the kills are not as silly, even though we know we're dealing with more of a zombie monster, Jason. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Riley Peterson says, this is the first movie where kids actually show up to the summer camp. How relieved were you that Jason did not kill any of the kids, especially after we walked that line with Tommy in part four?
Starting point is 00:28:12 Yeah. So, yeah, we were very. We were. And again, it built great suspense. It was something to be nervous about, which horos should be doing. Yeah. I think that I feel like him killing any of the kids would just, cheapen his character so much
Starting point is 00:28:32 because it would kind of undo his whole the whole reasoning behind everything it was established. It would be very hard for us to root for him too and at the core of this we're all still watching these movies because we kind of we got a soft spot for Jason. We do have a soft spot for him a bet. Which is again why I want the backstory.
Starting point is 00:28:48 I can't believe they never made the backstory I want to know his childhood. Stephanie Brie Hey Jackie and Paige Hope you all are enjoying the rise of zombie Jason. My question is how do you feel about the tone shift this movie took compared to the rest. We covered this.
Starting point is 00:29:04 We like it. Yeah, we love it. I think it wouldn't have worked otherwise. It would have gotten so repetitive. Like it kind of has to shift into this like camp making fun of itself or it's not going to work. It's kind of like, God forbid, you know, you guys, but it reminds me of Saw. It's reminding me of Saw.
Starting point is 00:29:25 Like people ask me all the time, why do you love Saw? And I'm like, these are the. greatest films ever and they're like you actually think that and I'm like you know what yeah yeah I love saw I have so much fun every time I don't care fun I don't I think I've only seen maybe like the first saw it's fun yeah the guy in the bathroom they make him chop his own arm and leg off and stuff yeah okay yeah that's the first one cool great cool cool fun no I love it it's great 10 out of 10 okay all right leon o three this is a big one okay I know y'all were disappointed of the lack of blood in some of the kills on the previous movies, but that is all because
Starting point is 00:30:00 the MPAA at the time really hated the slasher genre and they demanded cuts on the gore of horror films no matter how simplistic or minor the violence was due to the blame, oh, due to the blame the violence of new movies and video games on logic at the time. All these films received an X rating, nobody under 17, on their original
Starting point is 00:30:18 versions, and had to get toned down for a more profitable R rating. For example, originally we were supposed to see the cops head burst open when Jason squeezed his head and more footage of Jason folding the Sheriff instead of just a quick death. Plus. Fold them up like a knacken.
Starting point is 00:30:33 Plus blood flow for most kills was removed. The uncut deaths are available on YouTube on a VHS quality since the original film elements were destroyed by the studio. That'd be so cool that, like, play at your Halloween party. And the only film that received an uncut HD release was part one, which is why that film seemed more gory than most of the sequels. But which movie y'all think got better kills and gores overall in its released version Part 5 or Part 6?
Starting point is 00:30:57 Oh, no. Okay, P.S. the censorship gets worse on the next sequel. Oh, man. I mean, part five was more gory. The kills in this. Part five was where they kept going for the eyes. Like, almost to the point where we were like, are we missing something about the eyes?
Starting point is 00:31:14 I felt the plot of the movie. We were like, what is the C-No Evil? Like, what's going on? It was a little much. It was a little much. I think that I will say that when we were watching this one today, I felt like we felt like we've, really did not see a lot of gore compared to normal.
Starting point is 00:31:32 Well, and I guess this is what they're telling us. I was wondering. I would love to see him get folded up like a pretzel. Right. What the hell, man? Mm-hmm. Aw. Because also it was weird to see just kind of the body getting flung, and then it felt
Starting point is 00:31:47 so out of place for when Megan entered the bunk to see blood everywhere. And we were like, wait, did we miss something? He really did. He pulled her out. All right. Slush-o. Okay, sorry. Is it slush-o?
Starting point is 00:32:02 Slush-o. Slush-Hel. Hey, Jackie. Hey, Paige, Jackie. Hello. If you like peanut and jelly sandwich. That one's cute, too. I like that one.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Keep giving us our couple names. Is that what they're called? What are they? Our ship names? No, wait. Is that what they call? I don't know. What do they call it when they mess up the celebrity's names and the couples?
Starting point is 00:32:24 They're ships. Shipmates? I don't know. I can't remember. Welcome to Jason's zombie era. you are in for a wild ride. I'll give you some trivia and facts this time. The Jason, the Jason Bond blood spilled was, oh God, the James Bond blood spilled. No, it says Jason Bond. What do they mean? I don't know. I think he's making fun of like, oh, it's Jason Bond.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Oh, I get it. Okay. Blood spilled was recorded in fact, in practice. Was recorded in fact in practical effects. What is happening? It's okay. Reopen the schools. Okay. The Jason Bond blood spilled was recorded. In fact, the practical effects title design, Dan Curry. Thank you for the graver. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:33:17 He used a real machete to slash open black garbage bags full of milk and then turned the white milk into post-production to make it look like gushing blood. And the main theme makes hemorrhage into the spilling opening soundtrack. You said hemorrhage. And it's homage. We were talking about blood. Hemorrhage made sense. I'm almost there. I'm almost there sometimes, guys.
Starting point is 00:33:46 Okay. Well, he's giving us some folly, folly trivia here. That's disgusting that he used milk. That's like horrific. Yeah, but they probably makes. a great sound. I wonder if that was what that green kind of white-looking stuff was. Remember who was that?
Starting point is 00:34:02 It was the other cop? That's gross. That's really gross. That's gross. All right. Final piece of trivia from Leano 3. Musician Alice Cooper recorded He is Back, the man behind the mask, end credits music, to promote this film and made a
Starting point is 00:34:17 music video featuring Jason. Cute. Jason's two. Jason's death was partially shot on the director's parents' pool, which damaged their water filter with all of the gore. Three, the movie was originally going to be black and white as an homage to the old universal horror films such as Frankenstein. Yeah, we said that it felt like that.
Starting point is 00:34:35 And then four, the director's wife is the girl that gets killed in the beginning of the film. The one, oh yeah, the red-haired one. Aw. I love when directors put their wives in it. Yeah, sweet. What's his name? Adam Sandler.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Mm-hmm. All right. We had a lot of questions today. We did. We made a through. Thoughts page Guys forgive me for my brain And my mouth not working or being connected anymore
Starting point is 00:35:00 Yes it is late we need to go home I'm scared Thank you for supporting us on this channel Yes thank you All right Well we'll see you guys next time
