Starting point is 00:01:17 More on them in just a bit. Here we go. Season 2, episode 19. The one where Eddie won't go. Let's do it. Beautiful. Close out. Nicely handled gang.
Starting point is 00:01:40 Oh, all righty, you guys. We've just watched episode 19 through 24 of season two. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:01:50 You guys. Of the Amigo show. Of the Amigo show. Leave a like, leave a comment. Make sure you're going to ring that freaking bell. I also want to thank the people over Prepper for cutting down the highlights.
Starting point is 00:02:02 Thanks, Prate. Thanks, Praper. Prepper people. Preper, Preper, Preper. And if you were listening to this, I'm not posted Spotify, make sure, go and give us five mother freaking stars. Heck yes. All right, guys. Friends time has been fun.
Starting point is 00:02:19 We're going to get into the freaking questions. We are. And have a good old time doing so. Let's do dis ting. Just do a de ting. All right. All right. Here we go. He got a first question here. All right. Get it, John. Get it, John. All right. This was a really lovely fun bunch of episodes. Hey, John and Aaron. Happy Friends Day. Happy Friends Day to you. Thank you for being here with us. How would you two have handled the police situation at Central Park? Would you have tried any of the tactics of the boys tried or would you have tried something more out of the box? Have either of you been in a physical fight as an adult? If so, how to go? not as adult and i would use the old tactic of trying to out crazy them uh to freak them out
Starting point is 00:03:05 dukey on the floor dukey on the floor just be like i'd get all amped up and i'd pull my pants down and go yeah you don't want to fight a crazy guy and they'd give you my hat back and i would go on with my day yeah what about you man uh golly that's a better tactic i don't know what i would do honestly like i guess i would try to like talk to like talk the situation. I don't know, maybe grab the hat. I should brush up on my taekwondo in case anybody wants to steal
Starting point is 00:03:33 my chair or something like. It's been a minute. I don't know. I mean, there's a lot of fun options. You got a challenge to a dance off. I would like that actually. Yeah. I think I could do okay in a dance off. Dance off for the hat back. We really get everybody in a circle and going like, oh,
Starting point is 00:03:49 oh, oh, you know, ride the vibes and everything. You know, I could probably cut a rug, you know, instead of cutting a fool yeah yeah that was a wild episode though that was this was a very uh yeah vivid medley of situations and scenarios very vast and different as every episode is so i yeah i appreciated it but there will be no no fighting on this day no i like the way that that plot uh you know rounded out though i like them like you know getting uh you know they're like the other two guys run up and then they're like all four of them have to go get in a fight and then they come back and
Starting point is 00:04:24 they like you know kind to have respect i was like make these guys season regulars but not it's not gonna happen but uh but nah i mean yeah i would kiss them like joey yeah i would be like hey look i got an audition why don't you let me lay one on and then if you don't like it you can keep my hat but if i do a good job you got to tell me and you've got to give my hat tell me you spread the word so uh yeah that's what i would do i would try the joey Appreciate you Tadda Hey guys
Starting point is 00:04:55 Tara Tara Tara we had that we clarified this at one point and now my brain is stuck in the 50-50 zone Hey guys Hey to you The one with the two parties
Starting point is 00:05:06 Is fun If you were at Monica's party Would you try and escape And go to the other party Across the hall Or would you stay A Monica's very organized party And make sure your pen cap
Starting point is 00:05:14 Is closed tightly Now we're going to the other party We're going to Chandler and Joey's party it honestly it's tough because it really depends on what games Monica has boggle because i'm a uno fiend so if she had uno at the party i'd probably stay at the uno side stay at the calm or chill side where i can actually have conversations where as joey's party would be fun a lot of dancing but i feel like i got to get overstimulated quickly yeah it's like i would want to go to the party at joey and
Starting point is 00:05:43 chandler's because that seems more like outwardly fun um but at the same time If I wound up at Monica's party, I would probably feel bad attempting to leave. So I would likely, you know, stick it out and keep my pen cap on. So you would stay out of guilt. That sounds like a thing that I would do, you know. Yeah. I was like, she worked really hard and she really cares about this. I'm like, I don't want to be a jerk about it.
Starting point is 00:06:15 So I'll stay. I'd communicate with her. I'd be like, hey, I'm going to come back. I promise. I'll be back in like 30 minutes because I need I need what do they call it like the the setup room or like the cool down room or something like that oh yeah it's the oh god the staging area staging area I need me the staging area because I need to like reset myself before going into the party I appreciate the fact that there are two parties actually that's why that's like the perfect scenario for me honestly man if there was some kind of regimented way to like shuffle people back and forth which I get that they couldn't do because of you know the situation with Rachel's parents, you know, I think that would be pretty fun, actually. Because I like a game, you know?
Starting point is 00:06:56 I like an everybody get on board with something. Yeah, man. You know, but yeah, at the same time, yeah, the Joey party seems more fun. But I don't know. I would want Monica to have a win. I would also be like that. I would be like, I don't want her to feel bad. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:14 After, you know, getting invited and all that. So that's what I would do. Anyway, Michelle, thanks for chiming in. Rachel's mom is played by the legendary Marlowe Thomas, who was TV's very first single girl in the city on the famous 60s show, That Girl. I'll have to check some of that out. Let's see what a 60s take on that sort of story would look like.
Starting point is 00:07:34 She is my favorite friend's guest star. Out of all the guest stars and TV shows you've ever seen, which once are your favorite. Oh, man, I've seen a lot of shows. That's crazy. Howdy, that's a that's a, that's a, that's a, that's a, that's a, tricky one i mean we just and i wrapped dexter season four and that was pretty iconic okay pretty iconic guest star lit cow lit go yeah absolutely is there another
Starting point is 00:07:59 one that you're not saying uh is that the one um i mean they've had great ones across the board i mean you could you could you could throw uh freaking uh you know Miguel Prado in there you could okay he's great then uh uh doesn't Washington shows up no not Denzel I was I was going to say Benjamin Brad, but it's not Benjamin Bratt. I get their names confused because Benjamin Bratt took over for Jimmy Smith's playing Bail Organa. So like there's a, yeah. Yeah, but, you know, that's definitely one.
Starting point is 00:08:30 I'm trying to think. There's probably like a, no, there's probably like a, spoileries. There's probably a King of the Hill person that I would, I don't know, throw in there. Don't look. I'll look at a list and see. what it could be golly i should go back in my database i know the psych was notorious for having oh psych has so many good guest stars shit right i mean ed lover in uh at all i was on there ed lover with the come on son uh freaking carrie elwis as despero excellent recurring guest
Starting point is 00:09:08 star on psych um let's see i'm gonna just search one for me i think that um how much your mother had some good ones for I remember correctly yeah no freakity do these are all King of the Hill ones oh BudaSack Chris Rock is BudaSack
Starting point is 00:09:25 on King of the Hill it's pretty great freaking Alan Rickman as the as the Renaissance Fair guy Snoop Dog as Alabaster the white pimp oh my God on what
Starting point is 00:09:39 Alabaster on King of the Hill yeah sorry these are these are just these are for me. Yeah, there is. That's amazing. Oh, a little bastard. I love that.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Yeah. Um, goodness. I don't know. Who's another good one? To do you got. Who you got? Who you got? Who you got? Oh, uh, William Neeson on Atlanta was great. Oh, that's right. I forgot. Yeah. I'm going to go with that. Casey Williams on Atlanta was also great. Also crazy. There's a lot of good ones on Atlanta. I don't know. This is another one of those questions. It's like I will come up with my favoritest one later on tonight or something like that. Yeah. Because there's so many shows. We've seen so many shows over the course of our lives.
Starting point is 00:10:24 Syke has a bunch of really good ones. Have you seen all of Syke? I've seen all of the show Syke, but I haven't seen the movies that came after the show. Here, let's let's get a good, let's let's remind ourselves. Yeah. John Cena, that's right. He was on Syke. Oh, yeah. I forgot about that. He's a freaking, uh, uh, uh, Jules's brother. Oh, my God, there's some really iconic ones. Oh, I just Elba on the office.
Starting point is 00:10:51 That's, oh, damn. Yeah. That's right. Holy crap. And Will Farrell, when he showed up as a guest star, and James Spader, too, I think they were all really good on the office. Yeah, James Pader is my favorite, actually. Ali Sheedy on psych.
Starting point is 00:11:02 I'm the lizard king. Hell yeah. Hell yeah. Oh, goodness. Oh, yeah. It's right there. George's so many good people. Bruce Campbell was on psych.
Starting point is 00:11:14 That's right. Oh, Ed Lover's hard to beat, though. Come on, I just say that to myself sometimes. Yeah, leave us some of yours, though. I'm sure there's also probably like a Simpsons one. Anytime like James Earl Jones shows up in a tree house of horror, it's pretty sick. Yeah, there are other ones, but this is going to drive me nuts. So leave your favorite guest stars down below.
Starting point is 00:11:37 Yeah. We'll shout some more out if we come up with any. Haseena Ali, thank you for chiming in on the friend talk. after completing the entire series will you guys react to the Friends Reunion special on HBO Max it is the final time all six are together before Matthew Perry's passing
Starting point is 00:11:54 we freaking hope so you keep on watching guys we'll get through the entire show and definitely watch the friends reunion but you all got to keep watching tell your friends say your friends friend tell your grandma tell your mom we're watching friends here on Real Rejects and we'll get there through all 10 years
Starting point is 00:12:10 of television so we can watch the finale yeah if your five friends bring five of their friends and then their five friends each bring five friends and we'll have you know at least like 150 views yeah and then we'll have in something that's definitely not a pyramid scheme definitely definitely definitely by the end of this we'll have a friend pyramid a friend oh yeah we're all clapping unison a free a friend amid a friar amid a freer amid a megamid amygamid amygamid there we go it's pretty good it's not bad all right uh yeah we'd love to check out the reunion special. I feel like it would be a perfect cherry on top of this. I would imagine

Starting point is 00:14:09 Hope. Hi, guys. Hope you're well. Better now that we're talking to you. yeah what are you both looking forward to the most going into season three and do you and what do you think season three will bring oh it looks like we're about to get a lot more janis in our lives in season three so that's fun and sadly we're going to get significantly less tom selik as richard iconic guest star role i get why you asked that question or you know i get why michel asked that question yeah he's great fantastic um yeah seems like ross and rachel are pretty chilling they ended on a high note thank god and who knows what happens with phoebe will she eventually see her dad that's what i want i want phoebe to meet her dad and some crazy guest are that we have never considered to be on the show before like i don't know who's like an older oh white gentleman who could be her dad um how about richard jenkins who's that richard jenkins he was uh he's this guy he's friggin the dad
Starting point is 00:15:14 in stepbrothers. He's in a lot of stuff. Okay. He's a great actor. That's not who they would probably cast, though. That was a very specific pull. He's not as sexy as Tom Selleck, unfortunately. I think he is, but not traditionally.
Starting point is 00:15:30 Will Ferrell's not old enough. I don't think the guy who plays Al Bundy was old enough at that point, either. Ed, is that Ed Harris? No, no, no, it's... He's unmarried with children. Ed something, or Ed O'Neill. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Yeah. How Bundy must be at O'Neill, right? Yeah, there you go. He's here. We're going to get Bernie Sanders to play her dad. There we go. Well, well. That'd be pretty funny.
Starting point is 00:16:00 It'd be a random poll. Phoebe! You've got to come home to this house. You've been hanging out with your 1% friends. Who run all the coffee shops. I love that. I love it. We're her dad's Morgan Friedman.
Starting point is 00:16:18 We have. Michael Cain is her father. That would be the best. Phoebe, I don't know why you've been gone so long, but I'm glad you're back there. Oh. I think we should sit down and catch up on my stilt, on my love of the stilt game. I need to confirm if Homeboy was in another episode, Genevani, because you said he's easy. All right, all right, all right.
Starting point is 00:16:43 let's let's do I'm going to do okay was Giovanni Rubisi well okay here we
Starting point is 00:16:52 did you run or busy play more than one role in friends did you that's a good yeah Ribisi
Starting point is 00:16:58 play more than one role in friends this is the real time shit you guys this is real yeah buddy
Starting point is 00:17:05 this is real yes yes yes yes a name condom boy yeah he's
Starting point is 00:17:12 he's that guy yeah he just shows up uh yeah he leaves the guitar case as a tip for sure uh yeah yeah i knew i caught him because it because yeah like he showed up and it was like one moment and i was like what is he doing here and they never showed up again and uh i guess they must have i don't know if maybe he like started to pop off around that time they're like well shit we have him on file get him back in here for a recurring role because the star is risen or what but i don't know also oh freak mindy like did more than one actress play mindy oh yeah let's go did more i'm gonna i'm gonna use part there you go did more than one giovanni rabisi actress play mindy on friends there you go thank you
Starting point is 00:17:58 also yes yeah i was different person the first time that's right actress called jennifer gray yeah i thought she was different yeah i was like clock that though that's good took over for the role of the second episode featuring the character okay jana marie hup taking over from jennifer gray wow so there we go I hope they both meet in the next season
Starting point is 00:18:21 but yeah I don't know I mean like yeah definitely some shake-ups with Monica you know more things for Ross and Rachel uh Joey continuing to sort his life out and yeah will Phoebe connect with her
Starting point is 00:18:37 father otherwise just more high jinks and cool guest stars. It was cool when George Clooney and Noah Wiley showed. I thought it was pretty sick. John Claude Van Dam and Brooke Shields also pretty crazy. Yeah? Yeah. All right, Jay Rushden.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Yes. Question. Who in Friends got the best fashion of the season over there? All right. Overall. I think I'm tossed between Phoebe and Rachel. Rachel has some fun fits this season. Yeah, Phoebe is always, like, got something interesting and neat.
Starting point is 00:19:09 because i feel like phoebe's style switched up from a season one yeah a little bit but her hair as well yeah change her hair up a lot and she has more like different hair styles more frequently i feel like but uh yeah i feel like phoebe is number one and then uh i don't know i'm got a charmed by chayman has some fun ties yeah he's got like neat interesting shirts on occasion he had the grinch hat gunther had the best style this he gunther though like MVP like the new york city tie. Yeah. Can't beat that.
Starting point is 00:19:39 I think Gunther's pretty sick. Those are the two that are the three that come to my mind. Yeah. Like the other two other guests
Starting point is 00:19:50 or other friends dress well, but I feel like they fill it in theme. But none of them made me go, ooh, what are you wearing today?
Starting point is 00:19:57 But Phoebe definitely still has top tier fits. Like she had a whole necklace that were made of dice. Yeah. Oh, that's fun.
Starting point is 00:20:05 That's cool. But then Rachel had her like Mr. T fit on. Yeah, that's right. Or Mr. Terrific fit. Yeah. So that was cool. I think, I think Phoebe's my fave.
Starting point is 00:20:15 But then, yeah, Rachel, pretty drippy. Chandler can be surprisingly drippy. He can be very drippy. And then, yeah, Gunther for best supporting drip. Yeah. Yeah. I'll take that. I like that for sure.
Starting point is 00:20:26 But leave us here as down below. All right. Got a little bit trivia. Trivial. Thank you, Tara, for chiming in. If you were Rachel, oh, this is a question. All right. This is a question.
Starting point is 00:20:36 This is an overflow question. if you were Rachel, would you have agreed to be Mindy's made of honor? And how do you think she handled that? No. And they made the entire wedding about her. So poorly. But then again, the other guy made it about her as I'm like, there's just a weird wedding overall. I would not have gone.
Starting point is 00:20:55 I think she did the best that she could. And it was like, yeah, just like chaos attached to her the whole time. I felt very bad because, yeah, she's trying her best to be graceful and dignified. And, yeah, I respect. the game because yeah like after what we saw with Mindy in that episode I'm like I get the specifics that led to this but also like wow that's a big old choice and yeah I felt real bad for her that they made yeah such a deal out of her because yeah she's doing her best out here she's doing her best but I don't know what do you guys think would you have agreed I don't know if I would have agreed to that honestly no no no that seems like a lot but yeah and then next from Tara that was the slowed down version there you go do you think monica made the right decision to end things with richard i've heard other reactors say it was richard's decision to have a baby if he could stay with
Starting point is 00:21:48 monica i feel that she did the right thing he could end up resenting her or the child i agree with you i'm gonna keep it short because we're short on time but yes i think that we uh got to witness a very real relationship in reason for ending i feel like she didn't make the right decision because he wasn't doing because he wanted a baby he was doing it for her and long rolled he made some valid points being super old and he already has kids
Starting point is 00:22:12 and I understand he's like he's in the part of his life that he doesn't want to have kids anymore so it's a very understandable reason plus she's still very young in short yes it was the right decision
Starting point is 00:22:21 though I am very sad about it yeah I love the articulation of their relationship and I felt really bad because yeah I was just like this is a rock and a hard place and I love that he was willing to give it a go
Starting point is 00:22:31 but that she was discerning enough to be like yeah if it's a have to and if this is a major compromise for you and if you're going to sacrifice, yeah, this life that you want to have for this, you know, we are at different stages in our growth and that's not going to, yeah, ultimately make us both happiest. And as a hard choice, man, and that was a beautifully acted moment. And I hope he appears again. Like, I could imagine him appearing again. But it does certainly seem like we are breakup bound. Um, so yeah,
Starting point is 00:22:58 that was heavy. And that's going to stick with me for a minute. But a shout out to frigging Eddie, Adam Goldberg. That was wild. The, the whole first episode with him watching Chandler's sleep and all the weird gymnastics it took to get him out. He was very fun. The Phoebe old yellow game and the boys getting to love Richard and, you know, capitalizing on all his time. I thought that was funny.
Starting point is 00:23:18 And yeah, Phoebe watching all the movies. The one with the bullies, obviously. And then the two parties was great. Charlie Sheen, really fun appearance with the chicken pox and Joey, Joseph, that whole saga. And then, yeah, the wedding. This was a really, really fun run of episodes. And I'm glad we could all share it together. So, uh,
Starting point is 00:23:35 Thanks for being with us, gang. Thanks for being with us, gang. We love you. We appreciate you. Stay friendly. Stay cool. And we'll see you guys in the next batch. Adios.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Oh, wait, wait.
