Tara Erickson & Andrew Gordon react to Game of Thrones Season 2, Episodes 7 (“A Man Without Honor”) & 8 (“The Prince of Winterfell”) — all adapted from George R.R. Martin’s A Clash of Kings. In the North, Jon Snow (Kit Harington – Eternals, Pompeii) and Ygritte (Rose Leslie – The Last Witch Hunter, The Good Fight) continue their wary alliance-turned-flirtation beyond the Wall, setting the foundation for one of the show’s most iconic relationships. Meanwhile, Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen – John Wick, Jojo Rabbit) spirals deeper into cruelty as he takes control of Winterfell, forcing Maester Luwin (Donald Sumpter) & the Stark boys into desperate measures. In King’s Landing, Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage – Cyrano, The Station Agent) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey – 300, Dredd) clash over Joffrey’s recklessness as Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane – The Hours, Darkest Hour) draws ever closer to the capital. Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke – House of the Dragon, Me Before You) searches Qarth for her stolen dragons, ultimately confronting the enigmatic Pyat Pree (Ian Hanmore) and the manipulative Xaro Xhoan Daxos (Nonso Anozie – Sweet Tooth, Cinderella). Arya Stark (Maisie Williams – The New Mutants, Doctor Who) continues her dangerous disguise at Harrenhal while navigating a tense cat-and-mouse dynamic with Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance – Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Last Action Hero*) — and using her deadly pact with Jaqen H’ghar (Tom Wlaschiha – Stranger Things, Jack Ryan) to survive. I think we're ready here.
Let's go.
season two episode seven three to one act like that
all right you guys so we just got done watching game of throne
season two episode seven and eight um i'm gonna go to our patron questions but i want to
thank prepper for helping edit down these videos thank you so much also if you are on
youtube like comment subscribe obviously when you do ring the bell ring the bell
that are you notified of all the videos we will be dropping um also i have a new podcast called
the rage pod you want to check that out that'd be great do available anywhere you find your
podcast but subscribe when you have rage mad love the interaction between surcy and sansa after the
hound told surcy that she began bleeding made me believe that sercy truly cared for sansa in her
own sadistic way there seemed to be an understanding for how she felt what do you think of the
They've been developing and their feelings for each other.
I think there's some truth to that.
I think as well that Circe understands a great deal of what Sonsa is going through with Joffrey as I wouldn't say that.
Joffrey is the same level as Robert.
Joffrey is on a level of his own in terms of evil sadistic and an awful human being, if you want to call him a human being.
Robert was no saint himself in regards to how he treated
Circe, but I think where Circe understands where Sonsa is coming from,
they both have a facade and with where they are putting up with their
significant other, if you will, so she understands where she's coming
from in that sense, so she's seen it because she lived it.
So I think that's where the, you know, having a little tiny compassion
towards her.
And I think just from the stance of, hey, at least I know you're never going to love my son.
And I understand that because I've been you, I've been in your position, but you're going to love your children.
Yeah, I think that the way that I saw her truly caring in that conversation was that when Sansa tried to say,
I love the king more than anything, Circe knew immediately right away that, like, that was a lie.
And I liked that, that she sort of saw through it, but she sees that Sonsa is still trying.
Like, the girl is trying really freaking hard.
She has not ever really expressed the truth to anyone, much less Searcy.
So I think Searcy has respect for that.
And she also had, you know, a loveless marriage with Robert Brathian, which is why she kind of compared it.
I think she's comparing herself to the situation that.
Sonsa has found herself in.
So I think them bonding in that regard,
I don't know how much more information
Circe is going to be able to get to Sonsa,
meaning about marriage.
How does she get through this?
She knows that she probably doesn't want to bear Joffrey's, you know,
children.
She sees right through her that she's no longer excited
about having princes or princesses.
So I'm not quite sure how far she'll go to help her,
but if we tag that along with the conversation that she that surce also had with tyrian um it's very
clear that she is aware that her son is a monster so um we'll have to see how she moves with sansa
i don't know that she doesn't she's still pretty evil she doesn't care a whole lot about her
but she could still use her as a pawn but maybe not as viciously she would have before
For sure. All right, from Alex Mesa. I love the conversation between Circe and Sansa.
Circe indirectly acknowledges that Joffrey is pretty bad. How much worse do you think he can possibly get?
Not only in that conversation, but also the conversation with Tyrion, where Tyrion, she is expressing how bad he is.
And also, Tyrion says when you put the crown on the dog or the beast or something like that.
So that was a very fascinating interaction as well. And I really appreciate that there were some
What of a sibling bonding going on in there
and they were being really serious with each other
as opposed to like one-offing each other in that moment?
So I really appreciated that interaction
as well as the Circe and Sansa reaction
to the actual question though, Alex.
How much worse do I think Joffrey can possibly get?
There is no limit to how awful I think this character is.
He's one of the rare few characters
that I've ever watched on screen where everyone knows
I'm a pacifist.
The only time I will ever get violent in real life
is if I am defending myself or others that I care for.
I just always want to punch the damn screen when he's on.
That's a testament to this actor who plays Joffrey.
He's phenomenal.
If I ever met him in real life,
I would literally say to him,
you are freaking incredible as Joffrey.
I've never really hated anyone this much.
You knew your craft and you knew your job as an actor
and you nailed this part.
Or so far you have been nailing this part.
to as far as I've seen you in the show.
So I want to give him major credit, having said that,
I want to punch the screen.
I don't think Greg would like that too much
because I would probably come out of my paycheck
and I don't want to do that, but he's a phenomenal actor.
So what about you?
I think in what he's done so far,
he's obviously a sociopath.
So I think it could get a lot worse,
even though it's already,
the things that we have seen him do
have been, like, just out of his mind,
cuckoo-frikin bananas, wakadoo wild, times 25,
that you would honestly think, God,
after what we've seen, like,
I don't know if I'm capable of even watching
what he's capable of because he's so cuckoo,
but I do think it can get worse.
All right, from Tara.
Hi, Tara and Andrew.
What are your thoughts on Theon taking Winterfell?
He grew up alongside the Stark Children.
and was Rob's best friend.
Do you think it was a mistake for Rob to send Theon home
in hopes of gaining an ally in Baylon Greyjoy?
I believe Theon had good intentions when Rob sent him home,
but that changed after the way Theon's father treated him.
Oh, well, Tara, thank you so much for the question.
We appreciate you so much.
Do I think it was a mistake for Rob to send Theon home?
Yes, after what we have witnessed so far,
it was a major mistake, but I think Rob,
he had a lot of faith and trust in theon he grew up with the on it was his best friend so i think
you know when you trust people that are in your inner circle and they betray you and literally
stab you in the back like that it doesn't feel good and i think that is something many of us can
resonate with not on this level of course where you are literally taking over a hometown of yours
and murdering people in a very savage way but just the idea of stabbing someone in the back that
is close with you. That is something many of us, I imagine, can resonate with. It's happened to me,
and I'm sure many others as well. But yeah, obviously, again, it was a mistake. But I said it
at the beginning when this happened. And Tara has said it many times too. I think Theon just really
was not happy with the way everything went down when he was a child, where Theon's father
traded him like he was a dog. His words not mine. And he just really relishes the fact that
he wants acceptance from his father. But I think he needs to understand and he just really hasn't
gotten it yet. I assume he will at some point. His father is just straight up trash and a piece of
shit. And the Starks embraced him, took him in and treated him as one of their own. So
while he's trying to get acceptance and look for family from his actual blood, he already had family
and he didn't even realize it.
Most likely going to cost him his life, in my opinion,
because it's one thing if he wouldn't have actually physically taken out
the guy with that crazy beard, the old guy who we really liked,
I totally forgot his name,
and obviously took out those other two children.
I really feel like we're at the point of no return with him.
I know Rob is extremely close with him and still views him as a brother,
but that type of betrayal and taking out children
and Caitlin Stark's bodyguard or whatever.
he was, I really feel like that's the point of no return and Rob's going to have to take
him out. What do you think? So the mistake leading up to it, I understand why it would be like,
oh yeah, obviously. But the reason why I think it's a weird mistake is because Baylon Grayjoy
already knows that they stole his child, right, from them. And he has now been living up north
with the Starks. So for the Starks to send him back home, I get that maybe he's their only chest
piece to go, how do we get the Greyjoys on our side? And also it was very much,
Theon was like about it, right? He was like, let's do this because I can get this done. I think
he should have sent someone else and maybe not Theon. But overall, I get that, you know, it would be,
there's a shock factor there
and maybe you're thinking
Baylon Grayjoy would be like
oh yay I have my son now
and his son can
convince him that the
Starks have like taking care of him
and yada yada yada
but yeah
only time will tell on how
far Theon is going to go
with this stuff

Thank you again, Shopify for helping us out of more ways than one.
I think no matter who Rob sent,
Baylon has this vendetta against the Starks
for what they did to him in the past 10, 15, 20 years, whatever,
and also taking his son in that trade.
It doesn't matter.
He was going to go off on them no matter what, in my opinion.
All right, from Brad Gibbred.
Thank you so much for being a real reject.
Hi, Brad.
He's my new editor on my channel.
go check out my channel. He's been helping out.
Appreciate you, Brad. Thank you.
Love watching these with you just as much as Stranger Things recently.
Oh, appreciate you, Brad. Thank you.
Do you think Jamie Lannister's confession to Catlin about killing the Mad King changed how you see him?
And with episode seven's title, A Man Without Honor, who do you think it applies to most?
And why don't have to read this out, but it's fair.
Hi.
already knew that before I even got there, Brad.
Well, I've answered the first three before you,
so why don't you take this one?
So I don't think it really changes how I see him
because I think that he probably wears that as like a badge of honor,
you know, being the Kingslayer.
With the title about that, like a man without honor,
I would probably say Joffrey, just because he's, like, the worst.
Sure, Jamie has, like, there was a whole conversation, though, between him and Kat about honor.
And so maybe it was more, that's, like, an obvious choice to be like, oh, it could be Jamie.
But Joffey really has no honor.
I mean, it's going to take Tyrion, like, I don't know, a million slaps.
and like a lot of bribing
to even get Joffrey
to even think about marching out
with his men to fight
which is what Tyrion wants him to do
because he's like well if they see their king
with them then they'll go and fight
they'll actually be able to fight
I don't know if he's going to be able to do that
so I think you know
Joffrey has like the least honor
you know Jamie's he's kind of
right now he's just sort of like
the joky prick
that's done some bad shit.
And I think he's very happily owning it
and will continue to do that
because he's just a pompous prey.
Right.
And he did express in that conversation
that he stabbed the mad king rather in the back.
But I would also argue like if you stag,
granted he did stab him in the back,
but if it's a mad king who's an evil tyrant or whatever,
does that make you without honor?
I don't know.
But I think we saw, for instance,
in the last season when he was fighting Ned Stark
and the guy
kind of hit
Ned Stark or rather slash Ned Stark
in the leg or impaled him in the
leg. Jamie was not
happy about that because he was
fighting with honor in that moment.
So for all the negative things
we have to say about Jamie and all the
shit he's done, his terrorists just say
usually I don't think of him without
honor in that essence when it comes
to an actual fight like one
on one from that perspective.
so I'm not going to say the episode was pertaining to him on that title.
You can make the argument it was.
I would agree with Tara that definitely more on Joffrey's part,
though I would say he's a boy without honor rather than a man.
Yeah.
It would be my argument.
All right, Curtis Ockerman.
This episode introduces us to one of my favorite characters you greet.
Rose, Leslie, and Kit Harrington actually started dating after the season or now married.
Whoa, I didn't know that.
My question is Tara for the rest of the same.
series, well, you've randomly turned to Andrew each episode and say, you know nothing, Andrew Gordon.
And many of us did to our friends after this came out.
Now, I, you know, that's funny, Curtis, because, like, I actually, we did that all the time,
which is why the second she said that when she's like, you know, nothing, John Snow, is that that's all we would quote.
I would never even add my friend's name.
We would just say it to them, they would get it.
So I like that you're bringing that up.
But I thought you already knew that they were married.
I had no idea.
I could see the instant chemistry between the actors, for sure, while watching them.
And the knife that was happy in his pants.
But aside from that, I did not know.
The only thing I've ever known Kit Harrington in is from everyone's favorite MCU film, The Eternals,
which also the actor who plays Rob, was also in Richard Madden.
I did not personally hate that movie.
I know a lot of people did.
That's neither here nor there.
The point is, I had no idea they were married.
I didn't know the line.
You know nothing.
I've obviously never seen this show.
So there's only a few things I know.
I think I know about a Starbucks cup.
It's one thing I know about this show.
That's a cool story.
But you know what?
Look, Tara is allowed to say whatever she wants to me.
If she wants to transition our relationship from Encyclopedia to, you know nothing, Andrew
Gordon.
I'll be here to support her.
That's totally cool with me.
People have been mentally and physically abusing me my whole life.
What's it now if one of my good friends?
and a family member of this channel does it,
I will support Tara no matter what.
Definitely wouldn't yell it.
I would do it, you know, properly.
Like, you know nothing, Andrew Golden.
God say it in that ass.
You know, you've got to just do it right.
So at least I would do that.
I'm sorry.
I wish I knew something.
Yeah, me too.
All right, our last question here.
From Jay Rushden.
What up, Jay?
Question.
Would ever be totally?
naked for part or TV?
Would you ever be totally naked for a part on a TV or movie?
Well, Jay, I would like to know how much are they offering my agent?
We got to tell you.
I'm showing my full nude here.
My agent's got to negotiate that shit.
So you would do it.
I want to know how much money we're talking here.
If it's for the proper amount, hell yeah, I'll do it.
Okay.
It's like a Game of Thrones show.
It's a show this epic and it's for the right price.
Hell yeah, I'll do it.
y'all have seen my crotch anyways at this point on my short shorts for a little extra money and a show as epic as this what the hell yeah um i always had it in my contract no nudity uh so yeah that's for me no um short answer um yeah um but yeah that's just a preference thing and i know that you know they might like up the pay but to me it was like it was never it was never worth it um um
And most of the parts, even if you see here with, you know, DeNaris, she was able to negotiate after season one to have like no or a lot less nudity because it didn't really go with the story.
It was like, well, what's the point?
Why does she have to be nude?
Does it add to the story?
Is it like actually needed?
And they had a tough time with that, like negotiating it.
I don't think it happened, you know, quickly or overnight.
For sure.
But I understand why she did that.
She kind of was already all out there.
And if it doesn't add to the story just because we got it in season one, why are we going to do it again?
We realize it's HBO.
She's great to look at.
People want to see it.
But now they can get other characters to do it who are not leads, aka Rob Stark's new fiancé, wifey, thingy, girl, beautiful woman.
so yeah for me i've i've always looked at scripts too in any roles that i've been in where i was like
yeah nudity is like not required for the stuff that i've ever played let me just clarify the
pay would have to be a lot and the camera would have to be about 10 miles away because it's small
no just because i don't want to be a close-up shot i'd want them to be really far away so
it'd be like a wide so that it makes it look bigger sure
Short hair, so people could barely see how nude I am.
Yep, yep.
We'll go with that.
More of a backside shot.
I would go with that as opposed to a front full.
Oh, do you have a good bunda?
I don't like to brag, so we'll just say it's okay.
Huh.
Do you work it out, your butt?
My glutes.
Do I work my glutes out?
I have not since my father passed, but I am looking.
If I didn't tweak my back in the last two weeks, I would have already started.
But assuming my back is getting more.
When you were at the gym, you did glutes.
Oh, I did everything.
And I'm going to get back to everything again.
So I'll be fully prepared to not be in getting into full new.
Bunda.
Yeah, my Bunda.
Yeah, I'll be prepared.
Okay.
Well, we'll be looking forward to it.
All right.
Now, we are loving the show.
Please make sure that you guys like, comment.
Please leave us your comments.
No spoilers, obviously.
Yes, I have watched.
the show as you guys know but I still remember pretty much um except for when I went oh yeah there
it is when she's like you know nothing John Snow but I didn't know she was going to say it that's how
much like I don't remember so anyways keep supporting us leave likes leave comments obviously go support
us on reject nation shop.com and yeah we love you we'll see you on the next one
