Starting point is 00:01:58 out of the tower or the guy who bangs his sister that's such a weird sentence to say out loud but yeah he's definitely got some complexities to him i love just his interactions with gwendoline christie is there what's what's the character's name again sorry there's 10,000 characters remember in this show the lady brianne who's fighting thank you lady brianne i think they have such a fascinating dynamic the two of them together there's always so many we talk about this so much when we watch stranger things terra i'm always fascinated to see which pairings I'm going to be invested in the most in the season. And there's

Starting point is 00:02:32 so many different ones. Like even the one with Joffrey and Lady Tyrell, is that her name? I'm trying to remember all these damn names. Marjorie, it's his wife. Is that who you're talking about? Is that her name the one Joffrey's with now?

Starting point is 00:02:48 Sorry, there's just so many names. It's going to be maybe by the last episode. It's fine. But y'all know who I'm talking about. I'll just say one character and you know, but I love the dynamic between him, and you know who I'm talking about. Marjorie. No, not Marjorie, the one with the Jamie. Lady Brion.

Starting point is 00:03:06 Lady Brayan, thank you. I think they, he sees a lot of himself in her and there's a lot of nuance there. And I also think he's got a lot of respect. And we saw that when he was fighting, Sean Bean's character, who I can't remember his first name right now for Christ's because I'm blanking. But, and we saw when that one soldier, you know, inserted himself in their end and kind of cheated in that fight and he was really pissed off so there's definitely a lot of nuance with jamie's character and i appreciate and i also love how much humor is infused with him

Starting point is 00:03:39 i also appreciate how much how observant he is too like even if you don't actually say something to him he's going to find he's going to figure stuff out he's resourceful in that way so what about you yeah he's really smart i mean obviously we see uh more of a redeeming kind of like um charming type of equality here between him and Lady Bree because, you know, he's basically just manipulating her, trying to and eventually gets the sword. But it's like we see their relationship growing throughout the end of season two up and through this. So my assumption is that my idea of who Jamie is is definitely going to continue to change. Because as we see him here with Lady Bree. I mean, there's just, they're forming a bit of a kinship that we haven't seen

Starting point is 00:04:31 from Jamie before. We know he's smart. We know he's, he's Woody. He's a bit of a smart ass. And he's kind of sucks for us because we don't really like the Lannisters, right? Except for for Tyrion. But like, I do like seeing this relationship form. I think it's been a lot of fun. Hobo Man 2. Andrew, quick fact, in case you haven't already figured it out. Aria's assassin friend is the Russian guard from Stranger Things. That helps Hopper. Also, Ralph, in the sun, aka Galactus, was Theon's first mate. Well, Hoboman, too.

Starting point is 00:05:03 I appreciate you letting me know that. At the time of this recording, I don't know if those episodes have already been released, but Tara and I did discover that the Russian guard from Stranger Things is the one who was the assassin friend. So we did know that. But the one about Galactus, I did not know that, that that was Theon's first mate. It's the one who ended up turning on him, right? That's who captured them, the one who ended up turning on him and said, he thought he was in control this whole time or whatever it was.

Starting point is 00:05:32 So thank you for sharing that. That's pretty cool. I loved him as the voice of a collectus. He was really imposing and threatening. And we also got to see that as when he actually was physically in person. So thank you. Appreciate that. Yeah, I love it.

Starting point is 00:07:46 And I assume you saw the meme. Yeah, I saw the meme. I've never seen the show before. We are reacting to this. but I saw that all over the damn internet. I'm like, yeah, I don't remember. I know this is a fantasy world, even though it's in medieval times.

Starting point is 00:07:59 It doesn't take place in the real world. So I don't remember Starbucks being around back then, though, or whatever timeline place this exists. So what food would you actually if you couldn't do that? Give me In an Out Burger. I love In An Out Burger, man. I'd like a good three-by-three animal-style fries, you know, make them lightly well done,

Starting point is 00:08:19 not too well done. So I would definitely smuggle them. I think sounds good yeah what about you what would you smuggle in uh probably just do like chocolate or sweets it's too bad we didn't have twinkies then i mean singers they'll kill you but uh they're delicious okay um okay so for these last two episodes i'm glad that we got to you know touch back in with with aria and where she's at with them and gendry and them traveling um we're now in a very precarious position though because now she is Finally, which we have gone a long time without her being outed as a Stark.

Starting point is 00:08:55 And now she has been via the freaking hound. He does not care. So I'm also very nervous about Tyrion and his lover. I forget her name, but I am just really nervous now that she, that Shea is getting more confident to go to his quarters and show up there. I'm like, I'm just, I'm really, that makes me nervous. I'm glad that Sonsa has found a friendship with Marjorie and Lady O'Hanna or O'all. It started with an O.

Starting point is 00:09:28 Found sort of a kinship, a friendship, a safe space with them. They're basically saying you're amongst ladies. Like, we're not going to do anything to you if you actually tell us he's a monster. And they did. And it was really great information for Marjorie because now she knows, cool. I do have to manipulate him, deal with him with kids' gloves. It's nice to see someone manipulate him for once because he's such an asshole. And all we've seen him do is have the one up on everybody else.

Starting point is 00:09:56 So it's quite a breath of fresh air. And Sonsa didn't get too much like up in here. She had some stuff that we saw that she's obviously still concerned for Joffrey. But I think now her biggest concern is Marjorie and how Marjorie could kind of get the people on her side and less and less. on Joffrey side. I think that the mom is worried about that. I also, I just like it where John Snow is. I think that the wildlings are obviously,

Starting point is 00:10:26 if they get a chance to see him fight, I think it's sort of done there. They're obviously, you know, not fighting. So I'm interested to see where that goes. And I think overall these episodes have been really, really exciting. And I'm glad that the little kid from Love Actually, who does an amazing job in that movie,

Starting point is 00:10:45 is in Game of Thrones. He could be Peter Pan. I don't know, he kind of looks like it to me, but I agree with you. The first two episodes really started off with a bang. I like all the different storylines, all the different character interactions are all so great. One of my favorite ones, of course, Tyrion is always going to be my favorite. I feel like that's never going to change. We didn't get a ton of DeNaris so far, but I do like where we're seeing her off where the dragons are slowly starting to grow.

Starting point is 00:11:10 And now she's with those freaking crazy-ass soldiers, the ones who feel no pain. they're as Tara said like robots it I mean that was like that whole nipple shit I don't even know how they came up with the practical effects to and special effects on set to do that but that was as Tara would say whack ado and made me cringe to just look at but it's it's really palpable to watch her as she is just planning taking back the the iron throne I'm just so excited to see where that's going to lead to yeah I love seeing the whole Joffrey and lady. Hiro, right? What's her first name? Marjorie, thank you. And it was Ned Stark, Sean Paine's character. I just remembered his name. It just popped in my head.

Starting point is 00:11:53 Ned Stark. But, yeah, there's just so many different storylines, and I just love how this show is amongst all these millions and millions of characters. It's still a plot line you can follow, and you can still be invested in all these different characters. The Davos thing is so fascinating, too. Imagine there's a great level of guilt. You heard it a little bit, too.

Starting point is 00:12:13 if I was a good father my son would still be alive and also at the same point he needs to enact a little bit of justice because he feels like the only reason they were on this path as much as he wants to take back the kingdom with Stannis by his side

Starting point is 00:12:25 it's because of this evil devilish woman so there's just so many different plot lines that are so fascinating and last thing I will say I think Tara's got a point we did mention this a bunch of times in season two I really do worry about Shea especially after what we already saw

Starting point is 00:12:41 Circe doing that she tried to have Tyrion killed already so she's and she said she's got hundreds of spies she's looking for a reason to hurt Tyrion whether it be physically or emotionally and if she catches Shea go she already got the wrong woman with Rose or Roz however you say her name and if she catches she going into his room like it's game over for Shea yeah we don't want that because we freaking love her she's got a backbone she's so sweet she's compassionate she's pretty and she inside and out and she's such a great character. She's so three-dimensional.

Starting point is 00:13:16 We did see in this episode that there was quite a tie between her and how Tyrion would react to Sonsa. The biggest thing that I saw and I thought the great thing that I forgot to mention is that she was like, if he touches you or does anything weird, tell me. Sonsa's like, what are you going to do? She's like, I'll make it stop. Go to Trian. End of story. That is like what exactly what Tarian would do. And it aligns them really well on being like.

Starting point is 00:13:43 a really great team that we see together. And I just hope we don't lose it. We'll have to see.
