Do da-da-don-ton-tod-da-don-ton-ton-tun-tun-tun-tun-tun-ta-da-don-ton-ta-ha-ha-ha.
Here we are, guys, we're watching Game of Thrones.
Hi, hello, citizens of the old rejects.
Um, happy to be here.
Happy to be watching Game Thrones, per the usual.
How are you, Andrew?
I'm good, Tara.
I look.
I brought a book because we can't apparently get
names write or remember anyone on
the show. So I'm going to just start writing
people down. I'm going to write
Tyrian because I know we remember him, so
maybe I don't need to. I don't know who else we should
write down. I feel like we haven't forgotten
anyone's name. I know
mostly all the name. I don't understand.
But I don't go to the comment section
because y'all are mean.
And I can't be doing that.
So anyway,
I'm good.
I'm good. I'm good.
I'm good. And follow us
Roval Rejects everywhere. Let's get
to it. Let's do it.
Guys, you just
got done watching episode 7 and
8, Game of Thrones, season 3.
If you're listening to us Apple or Spotify,
please give us a five-star
rating.
Goodness gracious.
If you are listening

Ring the bell.
We thank you to Prepper.
for helping out of down these highlights super appreciate you i am going to go to see if we have
anything uh jay rushed it what up jay he asked question was a climbing of the wall scary or nervous
i mean that was that was a couple episodes back right where they were climbing the wall it was
i was definitely scary and nervous i would add both of them but it was freaking epic and the
scope of that uh that mountain was pretty cool and it really felt like a high
budget film. So also, I think it showed the true grit and determination and strength of
John Snow and that he was, he would never give up on eGrit or he would never let her go versus
Pirates of the Caribbean guy, the one who could see is it warg or how do you say it? Right?
Warg, he's a warg. So, uh, versus him where he is out to just save himself and John is
selfless and whereas he is selfish. So I think that scene was so defiant, just very,
defining and very cool and epic and I loved it.
That was amazing.
You would never think that's on a TV budget.
So I thought that scene was great,
even though it wasn't part of these two episodes.
What did you think of that scene?
Yeah, I liked it.
I was a little, well, we haven't gotten there yet
because I still think that there might be payback for the warg
for like cutting them off the wall.
But yeah, I thought there was a great scene.
It was a great ending because they shot it really well.
It looked really pretty.
But as far as this episode goes,
I did love the bear fighting with Brienne.
I did like that for her,
but I liked the stump bear a lot.
I thought that these two episodes were actually really, really packed.
It felt like the time really went by with these two.
I mean, it kind of always feels that way with Game of Thrones,
but I think these were really well-paced,
and there was a lot of high, like, drama, right?
Where we're getting to where Jamie leaves her
and we're like, what?
Is he going to go back for Brian?
And then he does, he saves her.
We learn that, you know, that Rob's girl is pregnant with his baby, which is very fun.
And I'm kind of really liking that the relationship with Aria and the hound, because it seems, even though we hate the hound and he captured her, whatever, him and that monologue and where he tells her, there's guys who have done things a lot.
worse and that he actually saved Sonsa, they're forming a bit of a like, unexpected friendship,
I guess you could say.
So I'm interested to see where that will, that'll actually go.
And I think that the red lady, I don't know what's going to happen with Gendry.
Because at first I thought she was going to kill him.
And again, he's still a sacrifice, but I don't know, man.
It's getting weird up in here.
Yeah, no, just the continuation of the humanity of Jamie just, and also, too, we got a little bit more payoff just from, he tried to save Brianne earlier on from that awful guy from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory doing nefarious and awful things to her by saying about the Sapphires and her father, just that he, they would, he would pay them off or whatever, just to not do anything to her. In that moment, he was trying to come up with something because he's so witty and cunning.
and he's resourceful and he's a strategic guy and he knows how to, you know, went and put in a very
tough situation, he knows how to get out of a jam. And that's what he came up with in that
moment. And unfortunately for Brianne came back to bite her in a really bad way. And when he found
out about it, he could have taken the easy way out and just, okay, I'm, I'm out of a jam right now
and I'm going to head back. But Brian has really touched him in a way that most others have not.
She's seen the humanity in him, and he sees a lot of himself in Brienne as well,
and he's just gained such a respect for her.
I don't know if love is the right word, like a romantic love.
I'm not sure if that's how I'm interpreting it yet.
Maybe it could grow up that.
I have no idea, we shall see.
Still fascinating to see where that goes, even if it's just a platonic thing,
but there is just a very deep respect and care that they both have for each other.
and I really like that
the interactions that they have for each other
but the fact that he's willing to be so selfless
for someone else
is not very Jamie Lanister-esque
so far that we have seen before this
so I love that they're really
delving deep
giving some depth to his character
especially after everything that was revealed
that he mentioned about the Mad King
Targary and how he was trying to do all the fires and stuff
and just you could see like
what it had done to him
and that we'd never heard that before
was just one of the most impactful monologues
I've ever heard just in a movie or TV show
and just what this guy, like the grief that he deals with
all the time from this, you know, from his past.
So that was incredible just to see.
And then the actual effects that they do with,
it looked like it was a real beer,
but I don't know, you'd let you guys tell me in the comment section,
but either way, it was incredibly well choreographed
what they were doing in there.
And you really felt scared for both of them in that scene.
So, and I thought,
to when it comes to the hound and aria that's another fascinating thing just because she wants
to kill him so bad because she feels he's very responsible for the death of ned stark whereas
he's just a soldier following orders and there's really nothing even if he didn't want to do the
orders there's nothing he could have done about it he's he's under the command of joffrey right he's
got to do what joffrey tells him to do but we know the as tera just pointed out we know what he's
meant to sansa and how much he's protected her so i'm very excited to see as that relationship
it progresses and how Arya might view this person in a different light, just in a way of,
like, wow, there's some humanity in this guy.
Okay, he's not, yeah, he might have, I don't think he was the one, like, from my recollection,
it's been a while since we watched the ending of season one.
I don't think he was the guy who did the axing, all right, a beheading rather, of Ned Stark.
But, you know, again, he was responsible and part of, you know, Joffrey's crew and all that.
But still, I think she's going to gain a newfound respect for him.
and I like that this show really pivots on humanity
and not judging people right away
and really getting to know them.
So I think that's going to be interesting.
Also, too,
of God dang, that was so really disgusting and awful.
But also, I'm not the biggest fan of Theon Grayjoy,
but what they did to him.
And I like how they were throwing us
for like kind of a red herring with Tara and I
and just, I would assume, the audience where he's in such a confused day.
Who are these two gorgeous ones?
women like that I'm waking. I'm so confused right now. And then yeah, cut off his pride and joy.
So I'll keep it at that, but that was disgusting. And one of my favorite interactions too in episode
seven was Tywin with Joffrey because Tywin, he's, you know, they always say in politics that
there can be, you know, the puppet and the puppeteer. Yeah. Tywin's the puppeteer. He's the one
controlling Joffrey. Like, Joffrey might think he's the king and the one in control.
dude you were put in place for a reason it wasn't because of you your grandfather put you there and
he's the one controlling everything and commanding you too even if you think you're the one who's in
control and you could just see during that interaction like you could see too like how much he was
trembling in him how much he was fearing him and also too like tywin was giving him the respect that
a king deserves but he does not respect joffrey for one second he just thinks him as a little
that was given that position because he's Robert Barathean's son, which we all know that he's not.
But it's just, I love the interaction.
I mean, I know that was only the first, I think that was the first interaction we've seen between Tywin and Joffrey.
But it's just so intriguing to see how Joffrey, someone who is a king and thinks of him,
thinks of everyone else is so little and beneath him.
And then when he speaks to someone like Tywin, how like, no, he's the one who's beneath like someone like Taiwan.
So I think that interaction was, that was one of my favorite interactions.
Yeah.
I think my favorite part of these two episodes, it would be where Tyrion, it's, God, it pits me off so bad when Joffrey took away the stool and, like, basically humiliates Tyrion.
And it's just so awkward to see.
But I think my favorite moment is obviously when he takes the knife and he, like, tells him to shove it.
yeah um and uh and then obviously you know he wraps it up really well and and figures it
out but it was it's just such a great moment because nobody sticks up to joffrey not yet
except for tywin can do it um it was uh a really great invalidating moment to see the second
tywin takes two steps closer towards joffrey joffrey's a little bit shaken in his boots which
is great um and uh obviously it's just it's very sweet to see still the relationship
between tyrian and shay after she finds out that they actually did not sleep together and
obviously tyrian is not going to sleep with santa he's just not that guy he's just the best um
and he is going to protect her and like he said i'll never hurt you you're like that's you're
awesome right he's like literally the best but then obviously
it's it's super cool though for for samuel to have killed a white walker with dragonglass because he's kind of needed his moment and i think especially to her to show her because he can't start a fire like she's the one that starts them she's also taking care of the child but he's trying his best to take care of her and even though he is from the wall he doesn't have those skills his skills come from up here um and that is
not much use in this world right now.
But now, once that's happened, it's like, oh, yeah, he had the right idea.
And I'm very intrigued to see how that goes down between Sam Hur and the kid after him
killing the White Walker, even though I am pissed as hell that he left the dragon glass behind
because he is not an idiot.
And that to me is a weird writing flaw.
yeah i mean i get it was a terrifying i'm not justifying i'm not justifying i'm not defending it
unforgivable you shouldn't have left it i'm just the only defense i can give it is it was a
crazy ass moment and they were running away but still there's it's it's like dude you just used it to
take out a white walker without fires like just quickly grab it and then run so yeah for sure no i'm with
you it's it shouldn't happen but also sam is so out of his depth he's not used to doing that but he had
a great heroic moment i got to imagine at some point
and he might hopefully come back and get it because they're going to need that so but i do agree
with you like this just justifies why tyrian besides the the quick wits and the incredible acting by
peter dinklage he's such a good guy he him and in and sansa were put into into positions they both
did not want to be in and they're trying to make the best of it and especially terian he's madly in love with
she and you could see that he didn't want to put santa in a very uncomfortable position as well
having slept with her and also he saw what the disgustingly pig known as joffrey was going to
do to her with other males at the party and he was in a he was in protective mode and i just
it's really a sense uh just a testament of his character like to do that to stand up to the king
in front of others knowing that he could die like just by doing that i get that he was also
drunk and he had a little liquid courage but still like he's just so crafty and so cunning and
just even in that moment he knew how to get around it right there but still to be in that
protective mode right there and to not want and to not sleep with her and even though the
temptation is there that and also like what his dad is asking of him it's like no dude he's
doing the right thing and i just i love characters like that so much and i'm also so intrigued
and so fascinated with the storyline as well and i love the compassion by deneris trying to free all
the slaves. She went through a situation like that, and she's just a compassionate human being
as well, and she doesn't like seeing people like that. She wants people free. And also, I'm just
so, I love Francis from Deadpool. I think that is another intriguing thing, just that he's now
given his service and his heart to her. I know I shipped her in Jora a while back, so I'm
curious to see if there's going to be any kind of a romantic fling or relationship there, so we
shall see but he's quite the the warrior himself so that is going to be interesting to see but
love these two episodes they were awesome and incredible dialogue as well and then we got davos free now
from uh was it's stanis right so a lot of a lot of crazy stuff going on but i am so just so invested
in everything going on we got two more episodes here in season three so we shall see what
happens yeah i'm very excited that that dario gave his you know two thousand extra men getting her to
ten thousand um he's cute she's cute he seems to be respectful i mean he killed his own people over
uh sort of philosophy right of what he thought was right and wrong there is a code there that
you know he stands for which is very obvious to denaris which is great so um i'm very excited
to see how that continues we got two more episodes after this i think it's a
I think it's a code, but I also think he's a little in love with her, too.
I think it's a combo of both, in my opinion.
Yes.
We have two more episodes after this.
