This video is brought to you by Zoc Doc.
More on them in just a bit.
Hello, Reject Nation.
Welcome back.
I am here with John.
Yeah.
And we are going to watch Halloween.
Let's do it.
Yeah.
All right.
Here we go.
What are you feeling?
I am, yeah, just watching Halloween.
Just finished watching Halloween.
Just finished Halloween.
Damn.
I am surprised how it ended.
I, you know what I will say is that her, her last.
line to the doctor her saying like because I know towards then we're getting really mad we're like
maybe get the fuck on out of out of house like what are you doing but then yeah her last line being
it was the boogeyman I was like oh yeah she like literally is 16 and like yes I think that it gave
me more grace at the end I was like oh my god she's just a kid yes she's just a kid right because I know
that is like such the like the common trip especially with older Halloween movies of like people
like when you watch a horror movie like you end it and you're always feeling like just leave
just leave and you're yelling at the screen but i like that that last line from her right right right
i did i really did it was like the reveal of the innocence and yeah um but yeah i uh no i i i to watch
this like horror classic was such an experience because i know everything about it never saw it
right so i mean like what a classic exactly costume even exactly the
the mask. Exactly. And so like it's it's crazy to even finally see from beginning to end how it all
starts, the lore. Uh, I, to even go into the fact that this like he, Michael Myers is this freak
of nature, right? Like superhuman to a certain degree. To the point they call him it. Right. They were,
yeah, they were not really, um, you know, personifying him as a person. But otherwise, uh, totally fun to
watch just because I, you see all the horror tropes, right? And you're like, I see where everything came from or
what comes afterwards.
This is kind of the source,
which is pretty dope.
Yeah.
But ultimately had a lot of fun.
Yes, we're yelling at the screen.
And but, but it was,
it was,
I know this sounds kind of,
um,
uh,
exaggerated or maybe like kind of hyperbolic,
but it is a very brilliant movie
because it's so simple.
I think we were talking about how like,
again,
it's just little camera tricks,
um,
one shots.
The,
it's a very simple score.
We were talking about the score.
And all of that work.
works so well if you do it, if you execute it.
If you just do it well.
Yeah, exactly.
Because it's so, yeah, the filmmaking and just especially his design of the score, it is so
unpretentious.
And I think that that's, I mean, just the fact that they reuse that one, you know,
little musical interlude over and over, but it has become something that is so well known
and kind of like famous, infamous, I don't know which word we want to use.
Fair, fair, fair.
Yeah, but yeah, and the costume, too.
I mean, kind of like genius.
because that's such a simple and well-known costume for anyone to recreate.
Like so many people have recreated.
And I wonder, like, in the costume design of Michael Myers,
were they kind of thinking or was it a happy accident?
Right.
You know?
That's a good point.
No, yeah.
And I liked, again, little subtle things of how, like,
he would be just shot standing there.
And it's, that can, again, execute it so well can make it really creepy.
They didn't have to make some CGI or, like,
some visual effect craziness.
It just was him standing there and next shot he's gone.
Right.
So simplicity worked out well for me.
Oh, God.
Yeah.
And especially like how it's funny, I've watched, I love the Saw movies.
I love the Saw franchise.
Okay.
Really random.
Because I usually don't like gore, but I don't, something about Saw.
I'm just so delighted by it.
I think it's so fun.
I don't know.
I think it's camp.
I don't know.
I get, hey, yeah.
Something about like there's really not that much gore.
And not that much blood at all in this film.
But I found myself, like, wanting to, like, sit up in the seat to, like, uncross my leg.
So my bare ankles are, like, I have, do you have that?
Like, I'm so sensitive about, like, my ankles.
I don't know.
No, fair.
I'm so scared of knives and my ankles.
Okay.
That's very specific for you.
But, yeah, the knives, like, were really freaking me out.
Definitely.
And we didn't even, I don't know.
You didn't even see all that much.
No crazy, like, blood squirting all over the place.
Yeah.
Really, I mean, at the time, practical effects where, again, it was just simple.
But otherwise.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Oh, my gosh.
So otherwise, a great movie.
And I understand why it's a classic.
But anything else you have to see?
I guess I'm just wondering, like, obviously so many movies took so much from Halloween.
I just think the costume, when we were talking about the costume of Michael Myers, I'm like, I wonder if, like, with the Scream franchise.
Because they also have a very easily.
recreated costume. It's just like the mask and a cloak.
Right, right. And I wonder, yeah, I'm just wondering how many
franchises that came later were like, we need a good, we need the villain to have like
a really simple costume that can be recreated. Yes, yes. And what's another thing that's
fascinating, I asked you about, is like this, a lot of horror movies I appreciate,
even though I'm not a big fan of them, I, what I appreciate the most is like some sort of
allegory or commentary. And like, I didn't know Halloween if, if Jackie is correct, like,
there would be some sort of commentary
about like shaming sex
or whatever the case may be, right?
And I find that very...
Now, I know this sounds really pretentious,
but like, I find the Halloween
is a little more elevated to me now.
Yeah.
Just for them to have,
to be saying that in the 70s
makes a lot of sense, but also that's pretty cool.
I'm pretty racy. I mean,
it's pretty racy film.
Yes.
I didn't expect that.
Yeah.
I mean, I just, I'm leaving the film
with so many.
I'm really hoping, because we don't know yet if we're going to get to do the rest of the franchise,
we're really hoping that we do.
Because I'm like, well, the doctor's still there.
And he was saying that he felt like Michael Myers was sitting there and he was waiting for the night to happen.
And also, like, why did he kill her to begin with?
Is he just evil or also why Jimmy because she wasn't having sex?
So like, what the heck?
And like, what's going to happen?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That ending does make, again, in the 70s, were they like planning for a sequel?
because it seemed very much open-ended
and like, hey, we might do a second one.
Like how well did they expect it to do?
Or were they just like, I don't know what to make.
Was John Carpenter just like?
Exactly, exactly.
Here we go.
Exactly.
Because now I'm like, I wasn't obviously tapped in
to the franchise when the new one with Jamie Lee came out.
Uh-huh, uh-huh.
But I feel like I do remember some amount of discourse around it.
And now I'm like, well, I really want to know what her character
is coming back thinking.
Like, how does her character as an adult feel about what that
happened to her as a child, like watching all of her friends get murdered.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's rich for so much storytelling.
I just, yeah, how we're going to get there is going to be fascinating.
I know.
I really want to watch the second one.
I'm kind of mad that we don't get to today.
I'm like, put it on.
Yeah, let's do it again.
Let's go.
Marathon, but anyways.
Okay.
Well, we are going to jump over to some Patreon questions.
Yeah.
And speaking of which, if you want to become a Patreon member, you can get our full schedule
ahead of time so you can ask us some questions.
And you can.
sync up with us.
We watched it on Amazon Prime, I believe.
And you can watch the whole movie with us.
No cuts.
Yeah.
Super fun.
There's also some exclusive content by John and Greg over there.
Other John, not this one.
Maybe one day.
Maybe.
All right.
Dewey says,
Hi, John and Jackie.
I hope you're both well.
Hi, Dewey, I hope you're well.
My question is, do you think this movie is actually good and deserves its hype?
Or is it all nostalgia?
Go ahead.
I think it deserves the hype.
I mean, honestly, I'm sure that part of it is nostalgia, but I mean, yeah, I feel like with
older Halloween movies, I don't expect as many jump scares, but genuinely, like, one, it creeped
me out so much without the need to have that many, but there were some that, like, literally
genuinely got me.
Yeah.
Like, literally genuinely freaked me out.
And I think that, yeah, it's such a creepy film again without having to do a lot of, like, really
pretentious things.
spend a million dollars on
CGI and extra blood and extra gore.
Like, no, it's,
it's exactly what you want out of a
Halloween film, you know?
No, definitely.
Just like, FYI, every time I get jump scared
is maybe because I'm responding to her screaming.
Sure.
Like, it's like, oh my God.
Sure.
No, no, I mean.
Okay.
No, but you are screaming.
Mr. Tough guy only.
No, no.
You're really loud to him.
Like, oh, God.
No, no, it's not a bad thing.
Not a bad thing.
I promise.
But, yeah, the jump scares do get me.
get me wrong, of course.
But to answer the question, Dewey, I think
it deserves the hype. Like, I agree with Jackie.
I think a contributing
factor is nostalgia, but
I would prioritize
the fact that it does deserve the hype
more than nostalgia. But yeah,
great film. Like, it really holds up.
And it, again, takes place in the
70s. And again,
very, very well done.
So, all right.
Question from snacks.
Hi, John, Jackie. Hi. Hi.
I see.
Jamie Lee Curtis is known for being the scream queen.
But in your opinion, what exactly makes an actress a scream queen?
Or even be ranked to be one?
You can take this one because I think this is more up your alley.
Yeah.
I mean, okay.
Well, if we're going to get into the conversation of like specifically like how like actors approach being a scream queen,
I think that this is like a very only recently of more horror films like starting
to get nominated.
Like it was huge
when they got nominated
for the substance and stuff.
What I,
especially as an actress,
I've always been very drawn
to horror,
not just as a fan
of like,
as someone that loves to watch them,
but I think I,
I've always died
to be in a horror film.
Cool.
Because I think it's just as difficult
as comedy
because the same principles
sort of apply.
It's like you have to be
fully 100% committed.
Right.
Otherwise, it's really going to fall flat.
It's to just genuinely be in that acting space where it is fight or fight, like, survival mode.
I think it's a very, very difficult thing to do.
And I just love that you have to just fully send it and not, you know, you can't hold back at all or it's not going to work.
Right, right, right.
So I really think that it's so much more, like, all this to say, I think a lot of actresses don't get enough respect for their performances.
I mean, yeah, I'm just, I'm specifically thinking of Mia Gauth.
I think she's absolutely insanely phenomenal in X, in that whole franchise.
Also, yeah, X, Pearl, Max, X, X, X, X, and also Victoria Padrety in the Haunting of Hillhouse.
I mean, she's insane.
The whole roster of incredible actresses that Mike Flanagan works with.
Like, where are there awards?
Right.
They're fucking, they're magical.
and I love that more modern horror has become, yeah,
there's the life or death scenes,
but also like specifically with the haunting of Hillhouse,
haunting a blind manner,
it's all centered around like,
those are all allegories.
You'd love those.
Okay.
You'd love those.
Good to know.
Yeah, there's just so much depth.
I don't know.
So yeah, I guess to piggyback off Snack's question,
as someone who isn't as experience,
in regards to his scream queen,
Do they have to be a certain, like, like, archetype?
Are they the smartest one of the friend groups?
Or are they the ones who just happen to be the strongest?
Or are they the unassuming, lack of a better word, hero?
What makes really a good scream queen to you?
I like the...
I really like the unassuming hero.
Because usually, like, the scream queen is considered, you know, the final girl.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But, yeah.
Like, is there any attributes that, like, stick out?
Like, okay, for sure, like, someone, I don't know, like, Lori seems like almost like the cookie cutter original of what, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Is there anything that even like other other performances in the, in the, obviously, in recent history?
Yeah, what really sticks out to me for scream queens is like that amount of grit that all of them have.
Oh, okay, I like that.
of like the almost wanting to give up at some point,
but like fighting for it.
And I don't think it's really a determining factor
of whether or not they happen to survive in the movie or not.
Ah, okay.
You know, because that, I would argue that that,
it's more common now.
Sure.
Maybe so.
I guess, yeah, Jamie Lee Curtis did survive.
Right, right, right.
Yeah, I guess, yeah, I don't know.
Because I almost, like, I'm tempted to say, like,
well, the other two supporting actresses in this film,
were also, well,
they weren't Jamie.
But in other films, let's call it,
let's say it was another film or another franchise.
They also kind of deserve to be
a scream queen, but I feel like it usually
is kind of saved for
the leading actress. Right, of course, of course.
Definitely, definitely. That's why I'm a bigger
fan of, especially like Mike Flanagan
work, just as an example. It is
very heavily ensemble-based
and there isn't like one lead.
Real talk for a second. I'm not going to get into
you know, all the personal details.
But recently my wife and I both had to see doctors,
and it was one of those very adult reminders of,
oh, yeah, we actually have to take care of ourselves
and be really smart right now.
I'm usually terrible about this.
I think I need a book that appointment.
And then remember the phone calls, the whole music,
the back and forth, the monotonous stuff,
you know, figuring out who takes my insurance.
And suddenly, I'm like, you know what?
I'm probably fine.
Terrible plan walking off like the old man used to say.
Anyway, that's why this video is sponsored by Zoc Doc.
which my wife and I actually used recently.

Fair.
You know.
That makes sense.
Okay.
Cool.
Good to know.
Yeah. No, usually it's the girl that's
Scream in the month.
That's the, okay.
That's fair. I didn't pick that up.
Okay, that makes sense.
Okay, cool.
Do you have an opinion or?
What makes a good scream queen?
I mean, just to pick it back off your expertise,
I think it's the one who is the reluctant hero,
who happens to have the,
the endurance and the grit that.
And the luck sometimes.
Yes, I mean, obviously, you know, writing luck, you know,
so.
it's yeah I I would imagine it's the the one with the the how do I articulate this the the the character that has the right head on her shoulders right like it's usually the morally kind of cool one and kind of is not the they don't have to be like so morally ethically correct all the time they just happen to be the the straight character if that makes sense right straight lace to a certain degree so.
So, yeah, yeah.
Interesting.
Yeah, snacks, I need to finish reading that book.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely.
I'm like, I'm going to rush it.
I'm going to.
All right.
Jaden Rose says, just want to say,
very happy to see this franchise being covered again.
Yeah.
But I'm curious if Slash or Horror Movies are y'all's thing,
or do y'all prefer a different type of horror movies?
And are y'all excited for the other 12 movies in this frame?
12.
12?
Which I'm just assuming y'all are covered.
the whole thing.
Just to lead in with the end,
didn't know there were 12.
I didn't know there were 12.
I would say, yes.
I'm really hoping that we,
I want more information about Michael's backstory.
Yes, yes, definitely.
Right, right, right.
I hope we're covering the whole thing.
Oh yeah, no, absolutely.
That for sure goes without saying,
I can't say definitively.
I can't speak for Jackie,
but like, I don't know what the powers that be say.
It's the powers duck.
Yeah.

Comment and that will...

Yes.
To be clear.
Yes.
It has to be like one of us.
Exactly.
Or it's not going to work
Or it's over, it's over.
Please don't do that, yeah.
But please, yeah, comment, please.
But yeah, to
I guess answer the question
or for J-D-N-R-N-A.
Yeah, it was the...
Do you prefer different types of horror movies?
You can go first.
No, you go for it.
Okay, okay, okay.
Okay.
Different type of words.
Because you don't really love horror.
It's, I'm...
He's being a hold here against his wife.
Yeah, exactly.
No, yeah, every time, it's perfect for reaction, for sure.
I am not the biggest wharf, and mainly because being raised Catholic, there is, like,
oh, cool, there we go.
There's this, like, scary connection, yeah, to, like, anything religious or supernatural or demonic
or, like, just, it's so, so naturally I was, like, traumatized as a kid.
So anything out, even outside of that realm, anything with jump scares, just anxiety-inducing things.
So that would ultimately trigger me.
But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate art and film and so on and so forth.
This channel, being on this channel does help me.
Expect your wings.
Exactly.
Definitely.
So, but I think Jackie mentioned this earlier.
I do like a commentary.
I do like some sort of allegorical kind of message because that's what I've always known horror to be good at, right?
is to be some sort of commentary of what the times are.
I think we're talking about, you know, Halloween being in the 70s
and how racy could have been,
or the commentary on, like, sex and so on and so forth.
So, um, otherwise, uh, I think I lean towards that.
Um, but in regards to other horror movies,
I will watch it for the channel.
That's my answer.
Um, but yeah, Jackie, how about you?
I, uh, I think,
I rewatch the haunting of Hillhouse,
the haunting of Bly Manor,
Midnight Mass,
every year.
Wow.
Because I love Mike Flanagan.
Sure.
Oh yeah,
you mentioned that,
yes, yes, yes.
I love anything that he makes because I think that,
and I think,
so Mike Flanagan and Stephen King
have been working together a lot.
Okay.
Like, like, like,
Chuck, other stuff,
but I think it's because they really do come at it from a,
they don't see horror
is something that's cheap and not to say that all slasher's just like,
ah, there's just a guy running around stabbing people.
But I really like the horror with elements of like real psychological and family drama.
Like there's all these interpersonal relationships and very complicated and complex characters.
And also there's something insane happening in this town or this house is haunted or,
ah, I keep seeing like, especially with the haunting of Bly Manor, I love that like the initial
jump scare thing that
Victoria Padretti's character sees
it turns out to be like
she really is just like haunted by PTSD
I don't want to spoil it for anyone it's so
good it's so good it's so good that's pretty
cool yeah yeah and similar with I mean Mike
Flanagan uses a very similar thing with jump scares
in a midnight mass
with the character that you begin with
the nice man I can't remember the actors
but I yeah I love
dramas that are that have
I love horror drama
I love horror dramas.
I think that's my favorite.
I'm trying to watch Widows Bay right now.
Mm-hmm.
But lately after work, I'm a little movied out, but I'm slowly watching Widows Bay, which is a new series.
But yeah, I think that that's my favorite.
I think slashes are fun, though.
I guess to piggy back off, piggyback off Jaden Rhodes' question.
Yeah.
Okay, so this is something that I've always wanting to ask anyone who's fans of horror generally.
What about horror generally?
or generally, like whether it be psychological horror.
Are you asking what's wrong with you?
Why do you like this shit?
No.
Maybe.
Maybe of the subtext.
But yeah, what is it so, what's so fascinating about something that ultimately will scare you?
Like, oh, easy.
That's like literally so easy to answer.
Okay.
Because I'm the type of, I think I've mentioned this in some other, like, reviews.
But I'm the type of, psychopath that I will be at home alone.
Okay.
And this was more of when I could watch movies for fun because like things that I hadn't seen because now usually it's like, oh, oh, got to save it.
But I will watch a horror movie by myself at like 11 p.m. at night.
Okay.
And it's because I feel I'm a very high stress person.
Like I have anxiety.
Okay.
I just like I'm I feel like very much.
I'm very, very focused on building my career and everything.
So I feel like very stressed out
Because there's always like a million different things
That I'm trying to do
And I think that horror
It just genuinely
I cannot think about anything else
When I'm watching a wharf
I see
Because it takes my full attention
And it really like
It's very similar logic I guess
As like I am someone who's afraid of heights
And I love roller coasters
And I love like the death drop rides
Nice right right right
You know I love I'm an adrenaline junkie
Same
I'm an adrenaline junkie
I'm an adrenaline junkie
Definitely yeah
Have you gone like skydiving?
Not yet.
Okay, cool.
It is, it is dope.
It's just that, yeah, could I randomly die at Six Flags?
Sure, but it's much less common versus like skydiving.
It's like it really can happen.
Yes.
And my parents were both lawyers growing up.
Like it worked in personal injuries.
So I'm like, oh.
Oh, fair.
That one's like a little too, like it's more easier.
It's all percentages.
Sure.
I'm looking at percentages here, guys.
Interesting.
Okay.
So ultimately it is like a form of.
Like,
Escapeism.
Yeah.
Okay.
Gotcha.
Yeah.
Okay.
Because you just like,
yeah,
and it's kind of something like,
like when I do scream,
it feels like there's like a relief.
Like a release.
A release.
It's kind of like when you feel really,
really sad and then you finally get out a good cry.
Like a lot of logic cry.
Yeah.
You know.
Definitely.
Get your heart rate up and then you scream and then you go to bed
sleeping like a little baby.
You're like,
got it all out.
That's fair.
Okay.
That makes a lot more sense.
I never viewed it.
that way, so I just want a perspective.
Oh, I love it.
Good to know.
I love it.
All right.
Pierre the Reject.
Who's your favorite scream queen,
final girl from old or new generation?
Jackie, you want to take this one?
Easy. Mia goth.
Oh, yeah, you mentioned that.
Duh.
Mia.
Yeah, yeah.
Mia.
Yeah.
There you go.
She's amazing.
I was Maxine from X, not from Maxxxxxxxxxxen.
for Halloween like two years in a row.
Cool.
Hell yeah.
I love it.
Good to know.
Is Sigourney Weaver from Alien a screen queen final girl?
Oh yeah, neither have I, but like I know of...
I don't know.
Okay.
I think we should watch over the chair.
No!
Why?
I don't want to watch alien movies.
Why?
I don't like aliens.
Like that scares you?
Aliens really scare me.
So when I first start working here...
We should freaking watch.
Let's do it.
Greg put me on a bunch of alien movies
And I just like I haven't been scheduled on any for like a little bit now.
Okay.
I haven't seen alien.
So real rejects.
Powers at B.
We can do it.
They're watching.
They're everywhere.
I'm scared.
Brigh bothers watching.
I guess I'll I guess I'll say even though we haven't seen all the movies.
I'll say Lori.
Jimmy Lee Curtis's Lori.
Honestly, yeah, diva.
Because she's, it's iconic, right?
That's from my understanding.
I haven't seen the movies, but.
Yeah, and I think that I've,
I feel like I'd listen to podcasts about horror.
I love, again, I just love that shit.
Yeah.
But I remember Jamie Lee Curtis, like saying in interviews,
I think, I hope I'm not making this up.
So allegedly.
Just that it was such a great part for her
because she never, like, she wasn't seen as the ingenue.
Oh, interesting.
And yeah, I need to, like, find that quote, but...
I like that.
And I love that.
I don't know.
I loved her.
She was just like, yeah, like, we mentioned during the movie, she, you're immediately
on her side.
Yeah.
She's a great babysitter until she kind of fumbled at the end, but then the kids were okay,
so it's fine.
The kids ended up okay, so it's okay.
Sure.
That's a good point.
Yeah, I didn't think about that.
That's true.
But, yeah.
No, I loved her.
I'm just, I'm a fan of her.
I'm just a fan of Jamie Lee Curtis, and I love her in the new scream queens, you know?
Good to know.
It's such a, it's such a ridiculous show.
I love it.
I've heard it is pretty ridiculous.
It's fun.
Yeah, yeah.
You want to do this last one?
Oh, yes.
All right.
Alan Smithy has some trivia for us.
Hi, Alan.
Hey, Jackie and John.
Hope you loved Halloween.
Did you know that the Michael Myers mask is really a,
is really a William Shatner mask that was simply painted white?
Yeah, yeah.
That's right.
It was Captain Kirk the whole time.
Yep.
Thanks for rejects.
No, I didn't know that.
You didn't know that?
Yeah.
I actually really, did you?
You know. I knew that.
That's a trivia that's in the zeitgeist.
But yes, it is William Shatner.
It just happens to be like a bloated version of William.
That's awesome.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Wait, that's really funny.
I didn't know that.
Thank you, Alan.
Yeah.
That's silly.
Now I can't like not like, I can't unsee it.
Really?
I'm like going to Google like.
I want to see.
I'm Googling William Shatner.
Oh my God.
Yeah.
Yep.
Wow.
painted white and crazy hair.
Wow, because it's with the eyebrows.
Yeah.
No, but like, look, and I guess they cut the eye holes like slightly bigger.
Yes, right, right, right.
But no, it's like literally, yeah, they didn't even change the, oh.
Yeah.
That's, that's fantastic.
Yeah.
That's beautiful.
Oh, what a cool thing.
Yeah, that's cool.
I like that.
That's amazing.
Wow.
Okay, I have one final question for you.
Yeah.
I need to take this off the screen.
The past is freaking me out.
My final question for you is, what do you want in Halloween to?
Like, what would you be, what are you looking forward to?
Great question.
I love this.
I do want to see what happens to Lori, for sure.
Like, is she going to go into witness protection?
I know that sounds like really intense, but like, what?
Maybe she should, though.
I know, right?
Like, maybe she should.
Sounds kind of like a smart.
I felt like the police weren't handling, like, and the doctor wasn't handling this very well.
He's like, you don't have to have anyone look, whatever.
Right, right.
But maybe she should be in witness protection.
Right?
I want to see how she grows from this, right?
Does she become stronger or just become traumatized or even both or a little bit of both?
I want to see what happens with the doctor.
And, yeah, what Michael can, well, how Michael continues to survive.
But, like, ultimately, I want to see how that town transforms.
It seems like it was a very innocent town that, again, you said like an open door kind of policy and very kind of suburban, like, hey, we're happy.
Now it's, we have three.
four, three or four, how many?
I think there were three.
Three dead teenagers.
We never saw Paul again. Exactly. That's right. That's right.
We never saw Paul.
He never got picked up by Annie.
He went out drinking, yeah.
Yes, that's right. Or no, wait, that was the other guy. Sorry, that was the other guy.
So, like, something like that is traumatizing for a town, right?
Like, 16-year-old kids, residents of that town. Now, like, are we on a man hunt?
So, how about you? What are you looking forward to?
What are you expecting?
I just
I'm hoping that Jamie
is in the second one.
I want to know how,
because there's 12
freaking movies.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like,
when did,
when did Lori get written out of it?
And then how did she come back?
Right,
right,
right,
right.
How many movies has she been back in?
Yeah,
I don't know.
I know she's in a few,
yes,
but I don't know exactly.
I know.
I feel like now like,
oh,
my friends always ask like what I'm watching.
And I'm going to have to be really
careful with how we,
because I feel like people assume that it is like very, very common knowledge.
Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a good point.
And I'm like, like, what the hell?
Like, does he stay in the same town?
Is it always in the same town?
Right, right, right.
Or is it, you know, what's, I mean, it's 12 movies.
So how do they keep, keep this going for 12?
Yeah, if it stays in the same town, like, holy, yeah.
Like, how's it, is it always the same?
He just really doesn't die.
Right, yeah.
I don't know.
I, what I'm really looking forward to is finally having, like, a leg to stand on in the leg
who would beat who?
Oh, uh-huh.
Like Michael Myers versus like a Freddie Kruger.
Aren't there crossover video?
Mid movies? Freddy versus Jason?
Oh, that's Jason.
Who's Jason from?
Friday the 13.
Okay, I'm watching that with Page, so no spoilers.
That's not Freddy, no, Friday's Nightmare and Elms.
Yes, uh-huh.
Damn it.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
But I don't think there's any crossovers with Halloween.
I want to watch all of the movies from everything so then I can really, like my ultimate goal.
is I want to be able to form a really strong argument
and write like I want to be able to write a 10-page essay
on who would win.
Oh, cool.
Hey, that's a cool debate.
I like that.
Between Michael, Freddie, and Jason.
Ah.
And that's my end goal.
Okay.
That's it.
Cool.
And I'm not using AI.
I write essays from my mind because I was in college before that existed.
Yeah.
There you go.
Mike draw.
All right
Remote drop
All right guys
Thank you so much
This was a lot of fun
I'm looking forward to number two
Yeah
Let's do it
All right
Bye
Bye
