All right, you want to go in?
Let's rock and roll.
No way!
Are you kidding me?
That's how we end the movie?
I came in, hot.
I'm coming out, hot.
What?
The freak.
She was mad now.

Yes, which helps guide the reviews.
Like, I don't need, you would know more than me then.
Definitely.
I wouldn't know.
I don't know.
And other exclusives, but you've mentioned that already.
Yeah.
But head on over there.
Like this video if you liked it.
Comment down below what the hell you think about this film.
What the fuck?
I think that I'm coming in hot right now.
This was my least favorite in the whole thing so far.
And you know what?
And you know what?
Including the new trilogy.
Yeah.
Oh, that.
This movie was shit from a butt.
Sorry I said that.
No, you're good.
This movie was poop from ass.
This movie piss me off.
This movie...
I'm mad.
You tell me what you think now.
Okay, all right.
And now you go.
Okay, you know, relax.
I'm mad to.
You relax.
All right.
You relax.
Oh, my ear.
Okay.
How do I feel about this movie?
Yeah, I don't like the ending because we still don't know unless this was so open and it
for like a sequel.
Like I don't, like, we don't know.
the guy with the hat and the boots like who the hell was that the killing of rachel in the beginning
was a pretty intense swing i don't know how how i felt about that was like really early on for her
yeah um and then yeah just jamie being this like telepathic connecting figure to michael oh here we are
uh it's a little i mean i the the supernatural thing is kind of cool in my opinion but like it kind
takes me out of it sometimes because it gets wonky in terms of the rules of it at all.
So the writing is kind of strange in my opinion.
But I was kind of entertained.
Yeah, this was just like an intense watch and it was kind of stressful all over the place.
Tina was someone I was rooting for, but not like, I mean.
I was rooting for Tina, but she also, no, I was really rooting for Tina.
I thought that she was a, like.
Cool filing girl.
She's not my favorite, but I thought that this movie had a lot of heart.
Like there was so much.
But almost to the point like where it was a drama and it and I, sorry, you continue.
No, no, no, no, I'm cutting you off because I'm rude.
No, I mean, ultimately it was.
Because I'm disrespectful.
No, you're okay.
No, you're not.
I think you're all over the place, right?
I like the intensity, which is fair because I came out in tattoo.
Oh my God.
So intimidating.
No.
Kobe.
Oh.
Oh.
Hey, okay.
Because I spilled all over my...
No, I mean, ultimately, this was a kind of a fun watch.
Oh, it's the revenge of Michael Myers.
Fuck you.
Fuck you.
They stopped censoring me.
I think the editors gave up.
They stopped bleeping me.
They're like...
We have no control.
We literally give up.
Yeah, no worries.
Otherwise, no.
I mean, it was a fun watch, mainly because it was emotionally all over the place.
Um, but, uh, I mean, otherwise, please divulge your, I just go all out.
Go all out.
I thought it was interesting.
I thought Halloween four was really, it was an interesting film and I was almost on board
again, like to see Jamie again.
But actually, by the end of the film, it really just kind of felt like torture porn to me.
And is her acting amazing?
Yes.
Do I think a little girl of that age should be in scenes like that?
Yeah.
Like, and for what?
For Halloween five?
Like, girl, yeah, yeah.
For a number.
Good girl, shut up.
No.
That pissed me off.
It felt like it was too like, I don't.
Like, it was weirdly voyeuristic and I really just don't.
I cannot, I can get behind fun.
I love a fun slasher.
Yeah.
I'm having so much fun on Friday the 13th.
I get it.
Like, those are adults playing teenagers and like it's fine.
And I can like, obviously, like, I'm not saying that I support like mass
murdering psychos.
Obviously not,
but I get that it's just a movie
and it's fun.
And you lean into the camp.
Yeah, and I lean into the camp of it.
But this is not a fun movie to watch.
I don't want to watch a little girl
who is like becomes mute
because she's so traumatized,
repeatedly like look at dead bodies.
I was crying through this movie.
It is not fun to watch.
I never want to watch it again.
I wish that I never watched it.
I wish that I could, I'm going to do,
I'm going to do the eternal sunshine
of the spotless mind treatment
to erase this movie from my memory.
Yeah.
And that's how I feel.
And you know what?
Next time I won't hold back.
I really help back.
No, I'm pissed off.
No, I had a bad time.
Thank you for your honesty.
Review, I had a bad time.
Don't watch it.
Waste of your time.
Jeez.
If you like this movie.
Jeez, okay.
Let's not judge our audience, but okay.
I'm judging.
Okay, that's another one towards the TV.
I'll pick it up.
I'll pick it up a week.
You're good.
Of course.
Yeah,
I got you.
It sounds like,
Jackie is making the studio a freaky mask.
No, no.
I think Jackie has every right to do that.
But.
No,
I made me upset.
And I really was on board in the beginning.
I was like,
oh,
I'm having a fun time.
Yeah, you were chilling through it.
This was upsetting.
I really,
no,
thank you.
It does ramp up like crazy.
I just like,
it's too,
it's too much of,
sorry that I don't find joy
in watching a little girl
be repeatedly traumatized.
Sure.
Even in like, it's so weird because like, well, what's interesting is that I am a giant fan of the haunting of Hillhouse, but that, that movie doesn't bother me.
I think it's just because she's getting like stabbed and it just like, I don't know.
It's too, it's too much.
Like, I almost think that it felt too real.
And kind of, especially because it is her uncle, like that changes the context.
and it felt like this movie was more supernatural,
but it felt more grounded in reality of like,
I don't, I don't know.
I don't really totally understand where my mind is going,
but I think it's,
what strange, I don't know how you feel about this,
but like, it felt too violent.
Like it felt too violent from a man who's a family member
and it's a little girl.
Like, I don't know, it made me feel really sad.
And it was like icky in some part.
It was icky and gory in a way that towards a child, you know?
Yes, yes.
I'm fine with gory.
but let's not, you know, not a child.
If they actually, I mean, if they replaced Jamie with like a teenager,
wouldn't have been better, like a later teen?
I think it wouldn't have bothered me.
Okay.
As much, you know.
But it is like a nine-year-old.
It's like, it's awful to watch.
Yeah, yeah.
It is scary to be, to be in his life.
Yeah.
No, it's really intense.
Yeah.
Oh my gosh.
I'm sad.
No, I mean, how do you feel about like the, the candles and the coffin?
Like, I, that took me out.
It took me out.
It was weird.
I was like, Phantom of the opera.
What's going on?
When did he have time to do that too?
And it felt weird, like this grown man having a weird obsession with his niece.
Like, people are going to be like,
over me noticing that.
But it's hard for my brain not to go there.
Of course.
So you can have your, yeah.
Like he's like light making her a cot like.
Yeah.
What?
I was weird.
I don't know.
It was weird.
And I'm sorry.
Who the hell was that?
Who the hell was that?
Oh, yeah.
That was so.
No.
No.
No.
Who did I want it.
I want that
Yeah we don't know
I still in my mind it's still
Freddy the Craig and Cooger
I'm not gonna Google it
So that's just what I'm gonna think
Freddy Kruger with a machine gun
Yeah
We just strange
It was Freddy Kruger with a machine gun
Well like who is that
I want to know
That's why I was angry by the end of it
It's like we don't have any answers
Who was that?
That made me mad
Yeah I yeah same
Don't tease it the whole movie
Like I get it if it's like
Like the MCU does this
Where they'll be a sudden at the end of the movie
they're like, oh, and surprise for next time.
I'm like, sure, but like, don't have me watch him the whole movie and then not tell me.
Yeah, yeah, at least hint it.
Right, right, right, of course.
Like, yeah, that's, I don't, I don't, I, that made me mad.
I get you.
That piss me off.
Oh, good.
I'm pissed on.
Should we get to the questions?
Let's get into some questions.
Dan Gehan-Rates in and says, hey, Jay and Jay, hey, Dan, I hate this movie so much.
Oh.
Thank you, Dan.
I agree with you.
Killing Rachel, Mute, Jamie, crying, Michael, the Myers' house is.
Yeah, you cried.
Sorry.
The Myers House is now a castle and of course, cookie woman.
They were literally making stuff up on the fly without a completed script.
Oh, you don't say.
Interesting.
Nothing sums that this movie, I'm sorry.
Nothing sums this movie up better than the director's name being misspelled in the opening credits.
Oh.
Amazing.
However, I do think the laundry shoot sequence is a series highlight.
What part of this movie sticks out to you the most for good or for bad?
actually the laundry shoot sequence sticks out to me but for the op of recent I think it's a series low light it really made me upset no definitely that was when my brain really shifted and I realized like wait a second I don't want to watch this I want to leave yeah yeah yeah
and if this was not my job I would have like turned it off at that point but I could not that's fair yeah I'm not allowed uh I get you yeah what sticks out to me the most I'm gonna be yeah what I mentioned earlier was the uh
Was the candles and coffin scene?
I'm like, what are we doing here?
Now, like this...
What are we doing?
Yeah.
I don't know why.
It just took me out of it.
I think you said, like, it felt a little grounded in the beginning.
And especially even in four, it felt grounded.
But again, we took this, like, supernatural approach.
And so it becomes this, like, weird kind of sacrifice, a sacrificial thing.
But I almost feel like the...
If it's something that is more, like, a campy,
slasher, then it's like, ha-ha, like, it's not real.
But it almost felt too real, but it made me upset.
Sure.
No, no, I get you.
But then again, haunting of Hillhouse is, like, extremely grounded.
So I'm not sure.
Yeah, I don't know.
But, yeah, that's stuck out to me.
And the other thing that stuck out to me is, again, we killed our lead.
We killed her right away, and then we didn't, like, touch you, like, damn.
Then we did circle back in the way that she found her body was the most horrendous thing
that I've ever seen in my life.
That's intense.
Yeah, I don't know, whatever, whoever was created.
behind this writing, directing, and all that stuff.
They took a swing, I guess.
Maybe this was...
But apparently they didn't have a completed script, so...
So, yeah, maybe that was a product of that, but...
I don't know.
Yeah, this was an intense watch.
I'm mad.
No words.
Right, next one.
All right.
Jamie Gore.
Still the coolest name.
I know, right?
Jamie shot out.
Ooh, okay.
Sorry, just...
No worries.
Rightness adjusted.
I didn't touch it.
Oh, you're good.
First off, loved y'all reactions for Halloween 4.
Thank you.
Emotions were all over the place.
Hopefully, Jackie's doing better.
I was until I watched.
And then this happened.
I grew up on this movie and slowly became one of my favorite,
at least favorite as I got older because how much it tries to ruin the fourth movie.
Yeah, it kind of does.
Yeah.
It just made me so many poor and irritating choices.
I agree.
My question is, what would you have done differently with this movie after the success of four?
That's a good question.
Good question.
I well where my mind goes immediately is I would have made it more like yeah let's keep Jamie like like like like you know what I even like the telepathy thing yeah that would be cool you know what sure fine let's do it um but I almost would have I can't remember which of the new trilogy but you know where Jamie Lee Curtis is like in the hospital for most of the film and it's other people running around yeah I would have gone gone about it more like that instead of like having um having him use her as as bait like that or like that was weird
I don't know.
And I liked that the police were finally stepping up.
I just wish that they had for once been successful and not immediately fallen for what was clearly a trick.
Like why did Luma, you know?
And Lumis, his character, his character made a lot of choices that really upset me in this film that I also just didn't feel like were true to his character in a way.
Because I'm like, he's a lot, but he's not like going to.
Yes.
He doesn't care that much about Michael that he would.
do that like use Jamie as bait in that way.
I just don't think that that's.
I agree.
True.
I think he's a kind and caring person.
Right.
He's supposed to be like the one that like he's,
I think at his core,
he is meant to kind of be the,
in a lot of ways like,
opposite of Michael,
like recognizing that Michael's evil.
So I don't think that he would do an action that is that evil to try and entice
Michael.
If he's so against evil, it doesn't really add up for the character.
In my opinion.
Good point.
What are you?
Okay, that was a lot.
That was good.
I agree.
She's on like 11 right now.
What would I do differently?
Yes, I would take out the steel toe boots guy because that, whatever.
You mean Freddie?
Apparently with a machine gun.
I would take that out.
I would keep the telepathy thing, yes.
Yeah, sure.
Why not?
I would use that as like a writing kind of device where they're Loomis and her and she
can work together, right?
Yes.
Where she's a little apprehensive because she doesn't understand it.
Loomis is trying to be patient and we follow Rachel.
Like we still have Rachel alive and she's going about trying to get over her trauma from last
year literally because of all the craziness but still wants to stay connected to Jamie and all
that stuff.
So if it's good.
No, you go.
I mean, otherwise it's just I would want a very simple slasher film where Michael continues.
And then we get Jamie being very useful and be like, this is where he's going to be.
And so we can kind of stop him.
I have a hot take that I thought of.
What I would have actually done is set it 10 years in the future.
Okay.
And Jamie, it's Jamie Myers now.
Oh, interesting.
Surely commit.
And she's a, commit to what you set up in the fourth movie.
Oh, that's fair.
I know, I realized that because I was like, wait, why are we even assuming we're still trying to make it like the, what they did, which was ruining it because the whole point of four was like it passes on and it could be.
Yes, yes.
Where Michael really dies, but it's transferred to Jamie Myers.
I love that.
I want to watch that.
That's the film that I want to watch.
That's what they should have done in the new trilogy.
Sure.
Fair.
That works.
Yeah, that sounds good.
All right.
That's what we think, Jamie.
Yep.
Jamie Meyer.
Jamie Gore.
Jamie Gore.
Leon O3 says.
Despite this film feeling uneven with some of its comedic moments and the at times Friday the 13th vibe, yes.
Oh, really?
Yeah, really felt that in this one.
Take it for a trip.
This Michael Myers seems to revert back to the original stalking and more human approach than part four.
It even feels a bit gothic at times, yes.
Which Michael Myers mask and actor, do you all prefer between part four, George P. Wilbur and part five, Donald Shanks?
And why?
Hmm.
I liked this, Michael.
I liked this Michael better.
I really enjoyed this Michael.
Yeah, okay.
It's just if he was chasing anyone else.
Oh, yeah.
Just take the child part out.
Yeah, yeah.
Just take the child part out.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I get you.
Because also like, why?
No, fair.
Why do we want to watch this?
Yeah, we did it in part four already.
I didn't.
Yeah, no, that's fair.
That's enough.
I've had enough.
What do you think?
Are you okay?
Are you okay?
All right.
Um, I prefer.
Well, okay, really fun fact that, uh, Andrew told me, uh, Donald Shanks is in dumb and
Dumber, which is really cool.
Really?
He's a, he was a waiter in the dream sequence for, uh, Lloyd, which is Jim characters.
Oh, you haven't seen it.
Oh, you haven't seen.
Oh, that's one of my favorite comedies of all time.
Okay.
Um, um, um, tell Craig.
Yeah.
Uh, do I prefer, I mean, I don't know about you, but part four.
The one thing that got me was like, like, that took me out.
of it was remember we we saw a little glimpse of like it wasn't blonde but like Michael
Myers had blonde streak in that in the last movie yeah yeah but apparently it was like
it was because the mask got like super duper fucked up yes yes for some reason they sent it like
unpainted something they had to paint it and like the extinguisher the fire extinguisher
like yeah but that took me out of it so I don't know I'm sorry Leon like great question
and thank you for contributing but like zero out of 10 for the part four mask yeah
like honestly i'll just say part five mainly because it it was an intent you know stayed and it was
kind of the the mass look bloated i don't know like or like no it looked fucked up in weird yeah
weird yeah so it was weird yeah that movie made me upset too i'm i'm tired of this four and five
yeah they're losing me no definitely they're losing me all right let's move on to incredible um
username coming up yeah tiny twinkle tozy sorry if i pronounce that correctly um
If you were trapped in a small town police station and a knife wielding mass killer, which reject would you trust to save you?
Oh my gosh.
Page.
Page would save me.
I've never believed in anything more.
Page would save me.
Okay.
Paige would not let anything happen to me.
Page is a mother.
Oh, yeah.
Okay?
Yeah.
And she's very protective.
Paige would save me.
Yeah.
Her maternal instinct.
I'm trying to think of who else.
I feel like John would be like released to my mother.
Martin thinking on his feet.
Oh, yeah, definitely.
I can say a great answer for all of them, to be honest.
I can go really quickly.
Greg is a leader.
He'd lead me out.
Roxy is calculating.
So she...
No, yeah.
She also, I think she would like...
No, yeah.
Tara would pick up a weapon and defend them.
Tara would also.
Paige, she's maternal.
She's going to take care of me, like Jackie said.
Aaron is muscles and big, and so he would protect me.
Andrew's smart and methodical
So we'd be like strategize like the mind of a killer
So we'd avoid some stuff
Who I'm missing?
Coy is muscles
And has
You know some lore about fantastical stuff
So he knows how to like
I feel like he would be really agile
Oh yeah definitely of course
Um
Jackie would just
She and I would
We know these movies let's get out of the do what what you know
We would not be fucking around
Yes exactly
Get the hell out
Yeah.
And then, yeah, am I missing anyone?
Yourself.
I don't trust myself.
I'd be so scared.
I'd run as fast as I can to save me.
Yeah, all of the rejects are just really kind-hearted people.
So I trust everyone.
Aw.
I sucked up to my main duo partner and you're sucking up to everyone.
Hmm, context.
What the hell is that?
I'm sorry.
That just came naturally out.
I'm sorry.
Can we edit?
Okay, we can keep it in.
They're going to keep it in.
I've asked them, you can, if you watched every video that I've ever done, you can hear me say at least five times.
Editors, please cut that.
That's fair.
One time they, yeah, no, and they do not.
They need not.
They put in my vocal warm up.
I told me.
Yeah, yeah.
Michael Meyer's.
That was private, but I guess everyone did.
If they liked it.
Yeah.
Oh, God.
All right.
Dewey says, hi, Jackie and John.
I'm sorry you had to watch this movie.
Thank you.
It's by four, it's by four.
It's by four.
It's by four the worst in the franchise.
It's just so bad.
It genuinely angers me.
That's why I fell from the terrible new mask
to the annoying characters.
My question is, what's the worst thing about this movie?
You said it all.
I think I've kind of gone off about this movie.
Yeah, no, definitely.
What do you think is the absolute worst thing?
I have to agree with you, Jackie.
I feel as if the child thing is a little.
too far, a bridge too far?
Like, it's really intense, and it's like we're seeing this child.
Like, oh, God.
It's just who wants to watch?
Like, there's no, there's no suspension of, of, like, disbelief of, like, being able
to put the gory murder to the side.
Because I am a orphan.
Like, I love Saw.
Like, that's fine.
Yeah, yeah.
You know, you know who Jigsaw doesn't torture is a child.
Children, yeah, yeah.
Children.
Yeah, yeah.
That, yeah.
Sure.
No.
Watch, I'm, like, forgetting one of the 10 movies.
Someone's going to be like, hey, dear.
No worries.
But yeah, the annoying character.
Yeah, all the characters were kind of just silly and, like, not written well.
But also, we just found out through one of the questions.
Not finished script, right?
Yeah.
I mean, maybe the word, that, but the other worst thing was like the weird coffin.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, that took, oh, my gosh.
The weird coffin attic scene.
And the new house, and we're supposed to just believe that it's a new house.
We've been watching this consecutively, so we know the lore pretty well.
Yeah.
So.
And they even go back to the house in the new, new ones.
Remember the gay guys live there.
Yes.
Yes.
Big John and Little John.
Big John and Little John.
Just like we have.
Exactly.
We have Big John and Little John at home.
Otherwise, oh, yeah.
Honestly, I don't know if it's the worst thing, but one of the things I did bump him to
and I think you mentioned earlier, Loomis is not Loomis.
Like, yes.
Like, it's a huge, very upsetting.
Very upsetting.
Very upsetting.
The comedy I didn't mind.
I liked that.
Yeah.
I liked the two cops.
That was my favorite.
That was my favorite thing about the movie.
Yeah.
Definitely.
Yeah.
Like, yeah.
Like, yeah.
Uh, should we move on to trivia?
Yes, let's do some trivia.
All right.
So this is from Hesna Ali.
Sorry if I pronounce your name incorrectly.
Uh, Daniel Harris plays two characters in this franchise.
Interesting.
In this timeline, she plays Lori Strode's daughter, Jamie Lloyd, and in Rob Zombies.
This is a spoiler.
Dang it's.
No, it's okay.
They put it in here.
Yeah, they did.
They went through and they put it in.
Rob Zombie's 2007 remake of Halloween.
She plays Lori's high school friend Annie Bracket.
Wait, so how?
Oh, because it's a remake.
It's a remake so they recast Lori and then they...
A lot more likable than the OG Annie.
Oh, what I would say about this film is that at least the friends were like kind of nice to each other and having fun.
Yeah.
I really hated Jamie Lee Curtis's friends.
They pissed me off in the first movie.
Yeah, they were all real mean and like stranger.
I was like, are you guys being mean?
Yeah, yeah, no, definitely.
They love, and then they had the one friend play something in Hellen 3.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
They're just like using the same actors.
Yeah, yeah.
All right.
Beyond three has a second question.
It says, this movie was rushed into production as it came less than a year after per four.
Holy crap, that's insane.
And she didn't age, yeah.
Yeah, many decisions were literally just made just because the director liked the idea
and didn't care how it affected the rest of the film.
Oh.
Do you all think the end result was better than.
part four on a technical level no the a d r like was worse than the last film we were like making
fun of the a we were making fun of the a d r i feel like no absolutely not this move no no on a technical
level part four is better yeah yeah yeah like that's more cohesive and you can tell now it was more
cohesive and it felt intentional this felt like they were just like throwing caca at the wall
sorry yeah oh good lord okay i'm done all right let's move on to the last one last one last
Piece of trivia.
Dan Gahan.
There was a different opening where Michael was truly dead after Halloween for it and was resurrected
by the Oculus named Dr. Death.
Is that the dude?
Occultist.
Occultist.
Ocultus.
Is a Mike Flanagan.
Horphe.
Really scary.
Recommend.
Occultist named Dr.
Death.
When you're done watching the series, check out the books taking shape and taking shape
too.
I have a feeling that those are about the making of Halloween.
Oh, that's fair.
Because shape, he's the shape.
No, yeah, exactly.
But is Dr. Death the steel toe boots guy?
No.
I don't think so.
Okay.
Unless they edited this question to avoid a spoiler.
Ah.
I don't think so, though.
That would be funny because that would feel like such a Friday the 13th ripoff.
But also, I don't, I've already seen part six.
You have?
Of Friday the 13th.
Oh, Friday the 13th.
Oh, let me rip off of Friday of the 13th.
Yeah.
Yeah, but I don't know.
I haven't been, God forbid, you guys.
I haven't been cross-examining, you know, the years that these have come out.
No, you're good.
All good.
But, yeah, all right.
Well, we hated that.
We had a bad time.
Yeah, I'm speaking for you, but.
No, I think it was a fun time to react with Jackie and watch it with you guys.
That was the best part.
But we kind of hate watching it together.
Yeah, no, thank you.
Any final thoughts?
I loved Halloween three way more than this.
Yeah.
Halloween 3.
I'm like, why are you guys talking shit on Halloween 3 when this movie exists?
No, definitely.
I don't know.
I want to watch the Rob Zombie ones.
I feel like I might like them.
I don't know.
It might be coming up in the future.
I might.
We'll see.
Everyone talks about the Rob Zombie ones all the time in our...
Gotcha.
On camera, we're doing the next one.
We might be, be...
Bebe, because we'll be...
Beep-be.
We might be in October.
Beep-be.
We might be in costumes.
We might be in costumes.
Halloween.
It would be fun.
Yeah.
And we're not going to forget again.
We're not going to forget.
We're not forgetting.
I'm literally remembering.
I remember everything all the time.
Okay.
Now we're making up stuff.
Okay.
All right.
Bye you guys.
See you next time.
