When you let arrow truffle bubbles melt,
everything takes on a creamy, delicious, chocolatey glow.
Like that pile of laundry.
You didn't forget to fold it.
No, it's a new trend.
Rinkled chic.
Feel the arrow bubbles melt.
It's mind bubbling.
Local news is in decline across Canada,
and this is bad news for all of us.
With less local news, noise, rumors, and misinformation fill the void.
And it gets harder to separate truth from fiction.
That's why CBC News is putting more.
journalists in more places across Canada, reporting on the ground from where you live, telling the stories that matter to all of us.
Because local news is big news. Choose news, not noise. CBC News.
Amazon presents Laura versus fruit flies.
Swarming your fruit and terrorizing your kitchen.
These little freaks multiply at a rate that would make a rabbit say yo.
Chill. But Laura shopped on Amazon and saved on cleaning spray, countertop wipes, and fly traps.
Hey, fruit flies. Your baby boom ends here. Save the everyday with Amazon.
Thank you to Hewell for sponsoring this video. More on them in just a bit.
Other than the Harry Potter reactions, here we are right now. It's the Sorcercercercero, also known as the
philosopher's stone, depending on country here. And here we go, three, two, one.
Citizens of Reject Nation, we just watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer Stone.
The first Harry Potter movie, me for the second time, but the first time in 20-something years.
You for the first time ever.
And we want to talk to you guys about it.
But before we do that, a couple of things, thank you so much to the patrons out there.
You guys who are patrons, you help keep the lights on, keep things moving.

Also, big shout out to Prepper.
Thanks for helping edit us down.
We need you guys.
We love you guys.
And it is no small feat, especially in movies like this,
that are two and a half hours.
I know.
Damn.
Yeah, it's a big one.
Yeah.
False on social media.
If you're not already, at Real Rejects everywhere.
That's where all that good extra juice is.
It's a great way to support us.
And if you're on Apple Spotify, five-star thumbs up,
we love to hear what it is that you guys have to say.
I read every single comment.
Oh, you do?
So y'all better be nice there.
If you're on the YouTube, subscribe, all that good stuff.
You don't want to miss a single reject notification.
Okay.
We will get to Patreon questions because that is how we do our reviews here
based on what you guys want to hear.
However, before we get to the Patreon questions, I just have to start by saying this is LJ's first Harry Potter experience.
So hit me.
How did that go for you?
It makes sense.
Everything makes sense.
It's such a rich world.
So it was entertaining for sure.
I understand why it was so famous among kids because there are these rich themes of like bravery and friendship and like the trio that we follow.
fun, loving,
but also cool,
complex relationships,
which is really cool.
But yeah, I enjoyed it.
Yeah, the magic didn't bother me.
I know I think when I was younger.
You said, I hate it?
I don't hate that.
I don't want to.
No, I'm not saying that.
I just, that,
I guess the interest wasn't there
when I was younger.
But so I lean more towards,
and as an adult now,
like lean towards the appreciation
of the storytelling.
Yeah.
cool kind of
I didn't know about the
what's it called
like a plot twist
of Snape being depicted
as a bad guy
but he really isn't
I like that
that was really cool
otherwise yeah
the talent in this movie
really well directed
by Christopher Columbus
and enjoyable movie
I'm looking forward to
the sequels and stuff
but also I really want to go
to Universal Studios
I actually want to go through
now
we got to do a real reject
trip there
yeah
This played really well for me upon second watch.
I didn't remember a lot of it.
I did kind of like as we were going,
I was like,
I feel like they set me up with this Snape thing before.
And there was like a couple things,
but honestly,
I don't know where this goes from here
because the chest thing in my mind
was the last thing I ever remembered.
Oh, interesting.
And it was only because I saw it on...
The TikTok thing?
Yeah, and because two of my besties
always are quoting,
if I make my move, whatever it is.
Sure.
But I really, I don't know where we go from here,
and I'm really curious to find out.
There's a ton of questions coming in for the Patreon,
so let's just jump right into it.
Here we go. J. Dell.
If you found out you were a wizard, like Array,
do you think you'd be more excited to explore Hogwarts
or more overwhelmed by suddenly discovering a whole hidden world
and you knew nothing about?
A and B?
Yeah, it would be both.
But I think I'd be more excited to explore
than oh yeah of course it's overwhelming but like in the best possible way especially when you're
coming from a crap household like that you'd be like thank goodness anything would feel like heaven
from there i agree just mainly because uh if i have like powers that's the closest thing to
superhero like or superhuman like uh abilities so yeah i i wouldn't be i mean i'd be overwhelmed
i think in the beginning and get used to it and then from there just explore and learn and all that stuff
so yeah let's get into nicky stone risa
Nicky Stornaraisa, thank you for your support.
Hey, LJ and Roxy.
I hope you enjoyed the movie.
Question, is there any aspect of the wizarding world that you're excited to learn more about?
I thought it was quidditch and then we were watching it.
You didn't feel it.
Holy shit.
It's not that I wasn't feeling it.
It was so cool, but it genuinely made me feel sick, sick.
Like, I didn't feel like, oh, I don't feel.
I was like, oh, I'm my vomit.
Fair.
I needed to stop and I was, like, really hurting for a second.
Makes sense.
But I do kind of want to learn a little bit more about that.
And then I definitely think more about the houses,
which I only really know about because of, like,
doing the sorting quiz online and reading about them.
But I don't remember, like, I can't name a Ravenclaw.
I can't name a Hufflepuff.
I've only read about them.
So I'm curious about that.
How about you?
Any aspect of the wizarding world?
I guess more spells and what the rules of the story is, I think,
because, like, yeah, like, certain spells or certain
usage of wands and other things.
Like the cloak of invisibility.
Are there more things like that?
I want to know.
Totally.
I'm curious about that.
I don't remember at all.
Okay.
Good to know.
It was cool to see how little I remembered,
but the characters held up the same.
Makes sense.
Mike Joyce, if you had to have someone
live on the back of your head like Baltimore,
who would you want it to be?
What?
Tara.
Oh, fair.
She eject one brain.
That's hilarious.
No, I actually think that Tara and I would kill each other if we did that.
We would both be like, ah-ha.
Sure.
We're both too loud for that.
We would need to be somebody quiet.
Okay.
Someone, I don't know.
I wouldn't want that if I had to.
Somebody very quiet.
Sure.
I would want someone to whisper, like, confidence into my ear.
It has to be somebody here.
Oh.
They didn't say that.
I'm just making that up.
Sure.
I feel like the answer is Big John.
Sure.
He's so cool.
Yeah.
I probably would lean towards either, yeah, Humphrey or Greg.
Because Greg and I have known each other for a long time.
And, like, he knows how to talk to me because we grew up in a...
We didn't grow up, but, like, we worked together.
So, like, he and I have the same sentiments about self-help and person development stuff.
So I think he would whisper, like, philosophical...
Positive things?
Yes, exactly.
Aaron would be cool too
Oh yeah sure
Because he like
We have such different knowledge bases
So I'd be interested
His thoughts on different things
Throughout the day
Okay Jane Rhodes
Well rejects
When do you usually realize
You forgot to eat
For me lately it's like
I look up
It's halfway through the day
I've been at the office
Editing reacting
Preping for shows and movies
Talking meeting
Business
And I just have not ate
And right now
Nutrition has become very important
For me again
Because I'm currently
training to do a Spartan race, running more, trying to build my endurance up. So I need not just
caffeine and vibes. I need actual nutrition. And that's where Huell has been a daily go-to for me
for like well over a year now. It helped me a ton when I was cutting last year when I made a big
deal by dropping all that weight. And now for performance is helping keep me consistent.
Even Koi right now, he's on a cut. I see him drinking this stuff all the time. He took the last
of my favorite flavor, the chocolate peanut butter. Thanks, thanks Koi for doing that. Happy to order
more using my promo code. But anyway, we keep a ton around here. The Huell Black Edition
ready to drink. The complete meal in a bottle. 35 grams of protein, 27 essential vitamins of
minerals, slow release carbs. No artificial sweeteners, colors, or flavors, and gluten-free, dairy-free,
actually helps keep me full, plus it's under five bucks. Then when I got a little more time,
I use the Black Edition powder. You could blend it with frozen fruit and ice. Sometimes I blend it
with hydration. Same complete nutrition, just more customizable. So, if you're like me,
where you got racing thoughts and your days just feel chaotic.
You don't have time to meal prep.
This makes staying on track easy.
I also really love their daily greens quite a lot.
So, Reject Nation, if you'd like to get on this bandwagon,
a limited time offer, you can get a Hill today with my exclusive offer of 15% offline
with my code Rejects at Hewell.com slash Rejects new customers only.
Thank you to Hewell for partnering and supporting Reject Nation once again.
Jane Rhodes asks.
I love this franchise.
I love this movie.
Everything this movie does works for me.
that there is dated CGI.
None of the...
None of the...
None of that bothers me.
None of that bothers me.
Yeah. Also, this is my least favorite
of this franchise.
Oh, wow.
Okay.
Which, to me, really says
something about all these movies.
It does, yeah.
I'm curious, with a TV show being made,
do y'all think the movie
really excelled in making it in a movie,
or do they benefit
with a TV show
and the long form of storytelling?
I don't...
I think that TV shows,
shows, the TV show will be able to adapt more stuff from the books because I don't remember,
I don't know what, but I hear that the movies leave out some stuff from the books. So that
will be cool. And they can go into different areas. Right. The CD didn't bother me either. It's
noticeable, but it's of the time. Yes. Right, right. If this is your least favorite, that bodes
very well. Yeah, looking forward to the other movies then. Yeah, the CGI didn't bother me too much.
but yeah typically when it comes into long long stories whether be um books or even like i'm looking at
the last of us right now uh video games it seems like tv can really uh execute more accurate kind of
depictions um so yeah i but i don't know like i guess i i i don't have nothing to compare to
because i don't know really this franchise other than this first movie so is it and i didn't
read the book so i i don't know anything about the book so it's a good movie you've avoided a lot man i know
You avoid a lot.
Awesome Joe movie reviews.
Thank you, awesome, Joe.
If you were to attend Hogwarts,
what would be your favorite class to attend to during this movie?
Mine would be riding the flying broom.
Also, how would you see yourself in the mirror of enchantment?
Oh, wow.
I would be an Oscar for Best Actor or Screen on Screen.
Thanks and stay awesome.
Oh, Joe, that's so great.
And it's great to know yourself like that.
And also, I'm so glad yours is something that could happen in the future,
something that has happened in the past like carries that i think that's way more difficult
um lj hit me first okay so um favorite class to attend would probably be the broom thing because i want to
fly that'd be cool just to like float and like travel would be like like like list okay on that one
mine would be spells because there you go if you can make things float i feel like you can make yourself
oh yeah that's a good point oh and i want to be able to do all that stuff like cori neody did what about
for the what would you see who i'm really curious what your answer is here of time correct me if i'm
wrong, I just want to get this right. It's like
your heart's biggest desires.
It would,
oh man, this can go really deep.
I would probably see
a more confident
version of myself.
What would that look like?
Oh, that's, yes.
Man, this
can get really, really
psychoanalyzing.
Uh, I don't know.
Uh, wait, how did, so it would be like,
what's the physical manifestation of that?
That's the thing.
It would be like you giving a TED talk or like what would, what looks like confidence to you.
It, it, it would manifest in different things.
Um, it, I mean, my dancing, I would be able to carry my weight in competitions.
But you see one.
You get one thing you see in the mirror.
The deepest, the deepest.
Okay.
I'll, I'd probably.
be with someone.
You have like the love of your life.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, yeah.
How about you?
My mom, for sure.
I think it would be like very similar to Harry.
But like actually combining with, who has this show, awesome Joe, combining with awesome Joe,
I would be probably giving my Emmy speech and my mom would be my, like, she would be the one in the audience.
That would be like, ah, ha.
Yeah, that would be so, oh my God, yeah.
All right.
Valerie Fisher.
Hi, John Roxy.
Which of the characters from this movie are, you?
you most like
I feel like
Hermione because she's just
so inquisitive
sure yeah
and I'm not
genius like Hermione
but just she asked a lot of
questions and everybody
at Real Rejects knows
that that's my fit
like everybody makes fun
of me because I ask
so many fucking questions
sure
I mean that's not a bad thing
so
I always say I do things
right the first time
because I ask a million questions
there you go
I don't mess it out
no that makes sense
um
hmm I don't know
I don't really
what am I most like
it's like it's like
It's like calling yourself a good driver.
I need my passenger to tell me.
I don't know.
No, I don't think that's the same.
Like, who did you?
Who did I like?
Okay, so who are the characters?
Like, there's all the professor.
Yeah.
The thing is, you're not really, the big three.
I can't tell who you're the most like of the big three yet.
Sure.
Yeah, I can't tell either.
Because we didn't get that much of Ron other than the chest stuff.
Yes.
And he seems a little clumsy, which you don't seem.
Yeah, I guess so.
Hermione, I'm not, I'm not, I'm, I'm, I'm kind of inquisitive, not, I mean, relative to you, I don't think so.
I mean, I would.
But you're inquisitive too.
But then, okay, so then you're not Naval.
Mm-hmm.
We didn't get to know the brothers of Ron, really.
Okay.
Are we supposed to get to know them in the future?
I don't know, but I just am thinking of any of the characters.
You're not Snape.
Sure.
Uh, huh.
Dumbledore seems way too
like
filled with wisdom
Yeah
Maybe McGonagall
She got Harry that broom
Sure
Oh yeah
Well maybe yeah
We don't know enough
You guys let us know in the comments
And we'll keep
We'll keep asking that question every time
Yeah definitely
We can give you different answers every time
Jay Rushden
Question
What animal do you take
School examples
owl rat, cat, dog, or toad is used.
I went owl.
You went toad and you can't take it back, bro.
You can't take it back.
You said, toad.
We answered that question.
You're like it's easy.
That's fine.
I get the toad.
Yeah.
All right.
Sure.
Pierre the reject.
Pierre the reject.
Which Harry Potter character do you identify
yourself with?
Here we go again.
Can't wait for the new Harry Potter series in 2027.
Same kind of question.
It's the exact same question
So
Yeah, I don't know
We answered that with Valerese
But thank you for the question
Pierre and you guys tell us
And again, keep asking that every week
So that we can keep answering that
I am excited for the series
But I will use this part of the opportunity to say
I do feel very conflicted about it
Because of the JK Rowling
And stuff of it all
And even us watching this
These movies, it's like
There's so many incredible people
Who worked on these
And it means so much to so many people
And we are watching it
but you know to me and I believe to you just who you are is who you are and yeah
accepting of all and come as you are and yeah it is rough in the comments uh doing anything but
being lovely then shame on you right I agree uh okay
let's hit one of these um from J.Dowell Jadale the letters from Hogwarts weren't just
CGI. This is trivia.
Thousands of real envelopes were printed and
dropped into the Dersley's
house for the scene where they flood
the room, making it one of the most chaotic
practical facts moments in the film.
What?
That's insane.
That's gnarly. Oh my gosh.
Wow. Yeah, that must have been crazy
to even figure out. Damn. Well, thank you
for that bit of trivia and thank you guys for being
here with us for this journey.
Yeah. Let us, don't give spoilers
in the comments, but let us know what it is.
that you think we should know,
whether it's things that they left out
from the first book into the first movie
or just how you feel,
who you guys think we are most similar to.
How I'm supposed to belong to that apparently?
Yeah, exactly.
Okay, so my brief analysis of that is,
from what I've read online,
is that Gryffindor is, like, known for their bravery.
Slytherin is more cunning,
but very motivated, like, goal-oriented.
Sure.
Ravenclaw, it seems to be more, like,
techy and good with
electron, like very smart
and...
Analytical or?
Yeah, I think so.
Okay, okay.
And Hufflepuff is like very kind
and pure.
Oh, are you saying Hufflepuff for me?
Yeah, you're really sweet, dude.
Oh!
But I'm sure there's a lot more, like,
I'm sure you guys are screaming at home,
like, and these things.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's just like my overall initial assessment.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And that they all have their bad things
too.
Like this movie made it seem like
Slytherin is the only one
that has bad things
but it seems like they all have
goods and bad
so that's my
assessment of that.
Okay, good to know.
All right, friends,
thank you so much
and we will see you
for whatever the second
Harry Potter,
any idea what it's called?
Harry Potter
and the
Muzzae
See you for Zama
later,
rejects.
