Starting point is 00:01:49 We don't know how long we can do this. I want to watch everything, but we need more views and we need more likes and we need more comments. Starting point is 00:02:29 You're, you're, you're, you're, you're, time here is um on the line just so you know on the line yeah like it's not just high school musical we might add it's it's your entire appearance and everything you've shot already you might just get deleted i might just delete it empty trash wow you know that there's people that would come for you because they like me i would just block them as well so you know they come for you those tens of people can vanish that was a good burn back baby i tell you what listen cancel me or not i love this high school musical listen the quentinero was very very cute we but it was odd how we got how we got the

Starting point is 00:03:15 twist of gina all the sudden like leaving because rickie's not into her right rickie is very obviously with nini and they're like we love each other and i get it that would be hard that's very very hard everybody goes through that in high school they leave us on a cliffhanger being like Gina's definitely going to leave. And then the next episode, what I had the problem with was she was still back and forth. But even in her one-on-one, she's like, I'm going to stay because my mom said I should. But then the song, I feel like the song that the Redhead sang to her when she turned around, she said, okay, because she sang her a song about home. I really liked that. I wish that we didn't have the one-on-one and her saying, my mom said I should stay here because, like, I shouldn't give up. And I'm like, I like the home part. Anyway, I, One other thing is that I find it odd how all of the sudden Ricky is very needy and Needy and Reiki are just Right? All of a sudden. It is like we had them yearning for each other through the long distance and then once she's back. What is that?

Starting point is 00:04:18 It's like, oh, they got problems in their relationship and Ricky's like a needy son of a bitch and she feels confined and trapped. And you've been, like, what is that about? I don't know. There's a lot happened in the last two weeks. She's been back, apparently. So I think the idea that they've been exploring, maybe I'm, I'll try to examine the intention. I think the intention is about the line about the pedestal. Like in the first season, it was a lot of romanticizing what they had and what they could be.

Starting point is 00:04:53 Maybe if they got back together, then they have, they're like, oh, he gets the girl back. And then they have the long distance. So, again, it's the romanticizing, the longing. And now that they're actually settled and it's back to reality, it may be it's not so pretty and there's a reason why they broke up. Right. You know, not only because he didn't say, I love you. You know, it's probably like a little bit more in depth to it than that.

Starting point is 00:05:17 But I don't know. It still also feels a little left field. It still feels way out of. I am here examining like, what are they going for and why? And then I'm examining what they actually fed us. And I'm like, am I filling in a lot of this blank? And they like fast fed us in an episode for us to be like, Ricky's going to be really needy and he's going to turn kind of back into a jerk

Starting point is 00:05:40 where the fact that we saw a pickup of Gina crying to Ricky and saying, I wouldn't let go of you. And then now he's still, after that moment, he still chooses to talk to Gina about NeNe. are you that's going to put us on absolutely a zone with ricky to be like you are the most dumb boy i have ever met what are you thinking and also why are you giving nini crap about like well we'll never see each other like if if you aren't doing what i'm doing meaning if you're not going to be at the workout gym and you're going to be off doing another thing learning spanish how am i going to see you it's like he didn't want her to have any of her own dreams she had to be with him at all I don't know where that came from I feel like sure we could wrap it up if we really thought about it that's a little too much work that they're making us do

Starting point is 00:06:31 about like he needs it because his mommy's missing and his dad is dating the teacher and he feels very unstable so he needs NeNe there with him to make him feel more stable because everything else is in chaos but that's like a psychology point of view that the

Starting point is 00:06:47 audience is not going to dive through to be able to go out of nowhere They were like, suck in face and in love. And now it's, we're just supposed to assume, which we do, we get it, that her song about the Rose has a lot to do with Ricky. And Ricky all the sudden going, he's like playing with his foot going, I miss the days when I was alone in the castle. And you're like, what? What? Out of nowhere.

Starting point is 00:07:15 He wants to be alone in the castle again without needy. I find that. I found that too quick. of soap opera writing where I was like maybe here's my thought you guys can tell us did they already break up yeah that's what I was saying I think the writers had to pull them yeah I was like it seems to me that Olivia Rodriguez was already planning on exiting the show yeah and so they started setting up for her to leave the show because I imagine that he's going to lose her in the end yeah because she has to go her own path and it's going to be a big learning lesson for

Starting point is 00:07:47 Ricky yeah as he progresses in the season three is what I'm imagining Because, I mean, if anything, it's more, like, I get the, watching a show versus real life can be a little bit tricky because you want, often shows to resemble what, you know, human beings are like in real life. And in real life, yeah, it's a really big process and circumstances can often dictate strange behavior if you're not dealing with it. And we all know what that's like. so him having like his dad dating miss jang creating conflicting feelings and him acting out and being needy it's like in a show can feel like it came out of nowhere and then you can look at it psychological wives and go like well maybe it's not exactly out of nowhere and maybe this has always kind of been what rickie's like and he's had more growing he needs to do yeah but i'm like but rickie seems to

Starting point is 00:08:38 be the one they give like the most attention detail to on terms of like toxic things he has to work on you know and uh and and i like i like Like, there's parts about it that I do like. And yeah, he's becoming like back to being an off-putting personality because that whole thing of like, can't just crap out a song. Whoa. Right. So we can hang out again. Don't you just do it in five minutes.

Starting point is 00:09:02 What's wrong? I need you and we'll be. And, you know, even though you're back. Because I kind of like the flip of fantasy versus reality where it's like, NeNe, I love you. And I know I just want to be supportive. But I do want you back here and living here again. And then she ends up she is, then she does move back. And then once back is like, no, I just want you around me all the time.

Starting point is 00:09:22 And so I like kind of like the realism touch to it, but it doesn't really add to his likeability. And the whole thing with that whole thing with Gina at the end of season one and then having that, I'm like, we know this character well enough to know he would be wise enough to know I should not be having this conversation with Gina about NeNe all the time. time unless he's like unless there's something in the writers that are going uh you know he's trying to like sabotage or elicit a response from gina or something you know right maybe but then i'm like that doesn't really i don't know i just i feel like that makes just an insensitive guy then at that point and uh yeah it makes him not particularly that's so that's so messed up it's very messed up it makes him way less likable but you know one thing that i just thought about remember the teacher with the, I'm sorry, Ms. Jen with the robotics teacher. Now that she's not dating the

Starting point is 00:10:21 dad, maybe the robotics teacher will move in there, but then I still think it would go against the rules, because like, can teachers date other teachers? I don't know. That might get in TV show land, yeah. That could get in TV they can, but it might get a little messy. But I like the songs a lot. The songs were great. Like Olivia Rodriguez's song and, but also home when that girl phenomenal voice, oh my God, from the Kinzenero, that song that he played, he's brilliant. He's brilliant. Doing the Miley Cyrus cover. That, and I'm really glad that they did the whole entire song.

Starting point is 00:10:52 We hadn't seen that before. They took some time. They let him sing it. It was great. But my favorite was Olivia Rodriguez song at the end of this. She's just a brilliant songwriter and I love her to death. And the Beauty and the Beast play storyline finally has some actual momentum

Starting point is 00:11:08 to it. With the fact that there's the competition and they're going to be doing Beauty and the Beast as well. It finally gives it finally gives doing the play like all this stuff about the Manking Award and Little Mervant I don't know I didn't really I don't know you found it I didn't really give a shit but this actually makes you go

Starting point is 00:11:27 oh there's a bit of stakes to it now and something to really prove and go up against and so I like that there's actually a bit invigorated with some life there yeah it's like they're having to do it's like what for high school musical they're having to a deconstructed beauty in the beast which is like the modern twist on it, which is obviously where they're going

Starting point is 00:11:47 with Olivia Rodriguez's song, while still keeping hopefully some classics in there. Yeah. Yeah, that's all good stuff. And I like Gina and E.J. E.J. I think they're a great couple. Oh, my God, perfect. And the way that he looked at her,

Starting point is 00:12:01 and he asked her, you know, like, honestly, how are you? I'm like, this would be great to see that. It would just be great to see it flourish to see her staying there, but also being happy with him and seeing him have a relationship again would be fun to see. Sure, sure, yeah, yeah, it'd be good.

Starting point is 00:12:20 It would be fun. I love this show. Gay guys are great. I want to keep watching it. Oh, yeah, the gay guys are. Gay guys, great. Carlos and white guy, gay guy. Yeah, I forget his name.

Starting point is 00:12:30 The guy who's saying, oh, it's gonna buy you know, film battle. Yeah, no, I mean, I think the last episode, as much as it made so many questionable choices. Yeah. It was at least the most, like, dramatically exciting episode that the show has had. This one with Olivia Rodriguez. In this season, I would say, like, even though there's like, wait a minute, what, why exactly, huh?

Starting point is 00:12:53 It's still made for at least entertaining drama. I agree. And Courtney finally said into her love to the guy, and that was really cute. I love to see her with someone. So cute. So cute. So cute. So cute.

Starting point is 00:13:06 We love this so much. But you know what? I think we'll be able to see her kiss him and that relationship. have flourished maybe in the next episodes. And then hopefully Nini and Ricky will blow up. And then I guess Nini would be solo, solo career focusing on her. Ricky would have to do that on his own because now we would have Gina with E.J. Very true.
