okay we love you shall we watch
let's watch let's watch
oh my god
that almost made me cry
like when he's sitting there and they
like their friend
the redhead puts his hand on like Ricky's knee
and is like it's okay and he's there
after a breakup just reminded me of like you know when your friends are there from you for you
when you go through something really hard like specifically a breakup and you you show up at some
random ass hour and you're like this huge thing in your life has happened to you and they're just
like drop whatever they're doing to be there for you and I almost cried almost you have friends
like that I do and I'm so grateful for them
You did too because I'm that friend for you.
You are?
Yeah.
You could literally come to my house, talking to my door, and I would always open it.
You could call me.
I don't even know where you live.
If you called me, yes, you do.
You came to my barbecue one time.
If you're listening to us on Apple or Spotify, I leave is a five-star writing.
Yes, you came to my barbecue one time.
You figured it out.
I would be that friend for you no matter what.
Just like, hey, open up.
Yes, absolutely.
And I would open it.
And then I'd be like, listen, I got a couch.
I got a king-sized bed.
We can build a pillow for it in between us.
Are we like monetizing this or something?
Yeah.
Okay, so there's like a financial gain for you.
Uh-huh.
Okay, yeah.
That's most of my friendships.
Because you're going to pay me for rent.
Is that way?
I mean, where is the monetization come in?
Like, are we recording us and you're crying at my house?
I'm paying you for that time, right?
Oh, right.
I see what you're saying.
Okay.
Oh, my God.
I love this show.
You're not paying me for our friendship, Gregory.
But that's all my friendship.
No, that's a lie.
Yeah, it's a lie.
Should I go tell your friends that?
I love Gregory so much.
Why would I be friends with anybody if they don't want something?
This is why we waste too much time because we just dick around and we'll talk for 30 minutes.
minutes prior to shooting and then in between talk about random stuff and be like
can we eat crackers and discuss life um never seen roxy get so annoyed by us
she got so frustrated she just like like Greg speak would you guys are both talking
like she doesn't she doesn't like it the way that when we communicate it's hard for her
to get in there because we have a certain style just overlapping and give each other shit
and you answer for me and I'm always like that's
Right. And he goes, uh-huh.
Roxy goes, can you let him answer it? And I was like, oh, shit. Yes, you are absolutely right.
He actually should be answering this for himself.
I'm like, that's how it's doing a good job.
Like, that's what I'm thinking.
Oh, my God. It's wild. Like, it's really funny when you get with, like, a good friend and you don't realize until somebody, like, a third party calls you out on your, the inner workings of your relationship or how you banter back in.
fourth you don't realize it until it's not charming no other people i know other people are like this is
annoying this is annoying like i can't get into this conversation because of you two like i thought it was
charming apparently we just annoyed people and really people come in into this and they're like
get me the hell out god that's what's happening that's what happens i love this show i actually these
were my most favorite two episodes i love that we had the dance
off that they go there and
I find it insane that
Derek Huff is the guy that took the mask
because I'm like you have literally everything
you need you have all the money
all the props but okay
you're still gonna stoop to this dumb level
but I get it because we need him in the plot
so I get that but I wish that there was more
of a reason but I guess his reason
is enough it's like people who have
everything they still want more so it makes sense
that he's just like it's a competition
but I loved like
seeing Ms. Jan getting closer with the AV
guy also seeing
Gina get closer with EJ. We already called
that. We thought that they would have a great relationship
and it was really sad
that felt the most real
that this has ever felt in this show
is when Nini and Ricky broke
up and I feel like the underlying
message between
the Redhead
and Bell who's playing Bell, I forget their
names, I'm sorry, that
the underlying message there is like there
are some people who really do just
want to have more of a
simple life and they don't have all these
big goals of
wanting all of these things and it can be really
hard if a partner wants more of that
out of you if you're just happy
because honestly the most
successful people who have all these things
and they're a five star chef in
Paris are miserable
sometimes like it just
you can have what the vision board
looks like and what other people would assume
you're very successful and you've done all these
things and you have all of this money
and all of these great things but they can also
not be happy and sometimes I think people with the simpler lives are probably a lot happier
than us even though maybe a tenth of them a little tenth of inside their heart wants to have
maybe what we have and like live in LA and go on auditions and you're in a film sometimes
and you book commercials but maybe they're like could be happier than all these like big
dreamers like I don't know I say you just wait till you just you got to find out they say money
doesn't buy happiness I know it doesn't but I'm like let me go find that out for myself
Yeah, I agree.
No, I absolutely, listen, and I also do think that happiness does come with a little bit of money.
Like, I have been, there is so much stress that comes when you don't have enough money to just be okay and get the things that you need or the things that you want or the things to just go out and have a good time.
I do believe that money matters.
It doesn't mean that you need to go overboard and be greedy.
It just means that I think you need enough to be, to feel.
settled. So I do think money can bring a certain kind of happiness. Not all around. It's not
going to buy you friends. It's not going to buy you true friends. It'll buy you friends if you're
going to take them out to Michelin Star Restaurant. Sure, they'll go with you. I'm talking about
down to the heart. Friends are going to be there for you no matter what money's not going to buy you
that. I think if anything, I don't know if it buys you happiness. I think it can alleviate a stress.
True. For most people, especially in America, it's a financial stress. Agreed. And finances are a
stress and and I think you alleviate that stress but it won't it's weird but it won't gain you
happiness right it's like it can it can gain you like a moment of happiness if you spend money on a
really cool thing but that goes away in a second yeah and I think the breakup scene was really well
done because it's it's a real demonstration of wanting some wanting the best for the other person
You know, we've seen how their relationship was morphing.
And I think this episode really drove home a lot what was going on between them in a way where it's like, okay, some of the stuff we were reading into is actually present.
And Ricky was admitting to a lot of it.
And I like how he did take accountability and he did own up to the Instagram deletion message.
Yeah.
And even seeing like the reaction that he had when he did delete it.
He was like, oh, shit, what I do?
He was like, what it?
Yeah.
It was so instinctual.
you know which is not a great sign and to watch what the way they are communicating with each other in that moment it's like yeah they probably always love each other at the same time they do want different paths in their life and sometimes it's just what happens when you put these two energies together is like they might really care and love each other might be a passion but then at the end of the day something happens when you combine them where it could be timing or it could just be the individuals like they don't they just don't mesh sometimes you are just better off as friends
And it was really sad.
It was a really sad moment.
And great acting by both of them.
I think they did.
I agree.
They get this one of Olivier Rodriguez's performance.
Phenomenal.
This whole episode.
Like this,
she goes for really,
like when she goes down for the drama,
I've always thought she's great and just as like a natural line reader.
But then for the drama,
she's really great.
And she can be really funny too.
So that's why whenever I watch this,
I constantly am like,
why does she act more?
Because she's great.
She's a really great actress.
I agree.
And it's kind of like,
wow,
what a.
I noticed I were a Disney channel actor.
Sometimes they start off at Disney and then they go into singing and they take off.
I think Sabrina Carpenter was the same thing, right?
I think.
Salina Gomez is another example.
Right.
But Selena Gomez still acts a lot.
And so I do, that's why I'm like, oh, I wish Olivia Rariko was just busier.
I wish she had this 21-year-old just stacked her life even more.
I think it's because music is probably her number one.
Like for me, acting would be number one.
right so I think you you do that thing because it's connected with music and she's just selling
you know freaking so many albums and being on tour but no I agree I think that she's a phenomenal
actress and I always believe her when she's funny or emotional and that's kind of hard to get
out of teenagers and all the all of these these are actual teenagers in this show and they really
bring a good emotional depth to it like that song that he sang with her like
Like, if I can't love you, then I don't want to, I don't remember the lyrics, but at the very end to Courtney.
It was great.
I mean, what a wonderful voice he has.
What a cool reveal we got.
And I, I agreed with his argument of, like, I just wanted you to get to know me instead of all this, like, weird stuff between them and North High, which I understood that.
And once he explained it, I'm like, yeah, okay, cool.
It is a little weird that you didn't, like, sing for her or, like, why wouldn't you have,
discuss where you went to school, but I'm okay with it now for the sake of the story. I like it.
I liked that. And honestly, everything in these last two episodes, specifically this last one,
how they're doing a nice bow tie within these relationships, I think is the best writing that I've seen.
And especially with the dialogue and the delivery, especially with Ms. Jen and the guy in him,
making her feel like at home for her to do the audition and then it edits for her.
I loved just seeing like, you're gorgeous and deleting it and sending it.
We knew that tension was there when she was dating the other guy, but seeing it come to fruition,
I think that they're doing it in a really delicate, nice way.
They're not doing it too overhanded, even though some of these plot points seem a little
too, like, convenient, I'm okay with it.
It's like, it's still a really great story and really, really, really enter.
And it's kind of weird.
We didn't, did we see NeNey sing at all?
We didn't.
No, we should get the big Rose song a couple episodes.
A couple episodes, but it's been two episodes ago, and I still was thoroughly entertained by the two numbers that we got to see were the two beast numbers.
Freaking awesome.
Well, it's funny seeing Gina and E.J.
How much they've evolved.
Because they started off as the ones with the biggest egos, the most competitive, and probably the ones that were likely to be antagonists for the show.
show and to see them as like i love them together i think their chemistry is solid and the fact that
they have both grown and now see find this attraction for one another yep i think it's beautiful
and is a way better fit than with rickie uh and yeah i think i think that this whole story was
just about accepting the past that we all want and about just being honest with ourselves and
with others and i really i really like that one a lot and maybe i'll stop lying now
stop being such a dirty liar Gregory
it's just it's so much easier if you lie
so lovely to lie
and get out of so many situations
you can make people feel good about themselves
so now I know
anytime I walk in
he's like hey good job in your makeup
I don't know he's a dirty liar
I was like what would a good person say
yeah
no me too like I tend to
wander around. I smile at people, even though deep
down I'm thinking, I hate you.
Absolutely, that's how I operate.
I mean, why the hell's
there to be happy about? Nothing.
There's nothing to be happy about. Unless there was
like thousands of dollars sitting in front of us,
like we talked about before money equals happiness.
Oh my God. And food?
Food. No, honestly, food
makes us happy.
So happy. Get,
like, just food. I agree with you.
I live to get to Saturday.
Not because it's like,
ah, end of the work week done with my 9 to 5.
That's what he could be.
I'm like, that's cheat day time.
I live.
He lives for Saturday.
Every day, I'm like, what am I going to get Saturday?
Every day.
What am I going to get Saturday?
And I usually have the thought at the gym.
I'm like, when are we going to get on this Saturday?
My God, I love this.
His cheat day.
And then he needs like two days to recover from his cheat day.
Because he goes that hard.
I practice.
this, I cut myself off at 9th, because normally I'm eating until, like, I go to bed.
Like, one in the morning or two.
How much more can I fit to me?
Because I won't get this opportunity again for another week.
But I stopped, I cut myself off at 9.30 p.m.
9.30 is a good time.
Yeah, and so I actually felt fine the next day.
Look at you.
Oh, my God.
I don't know if I could replicate that, but I did it once.
He did it one time.
And he's like, I've got this plan.
I cut myself off at 9.30.
That was last Saturday.
He doesn't know if he'll continue to do that.
It was really hard.
Oh my God.
You need to start earlier.
You need to start earlier.
You need to start at like 9 a.m.
And then by 9.30 p.m. you'll be full.
I can't.
I got a word to do.
If I'm going to be on camera, I can't have a cheat day.
I can't cheat on the day I have to be on camera.
So when you start to cheat noon?
I already have bloated all the time.
One, two.
2 p.m.
You can start to cheat.
I usually it's like four or five.
when the sun's going now.
Why do you wait?
I don't want to be sweating.
I think I sweat more.
He doesn't want to have the, like, the food fat sweats.
You know what I'm talking about?
You need something awful or you're sweating, you're bloated, you're like, oh, my God, I'm just disgusting.
It's the worst.
It's not a good feeling.
You know what I want this channel to be sponsored by?
