Y'all ready for this?
I'd like to follow, follow.
Are you ready for this?
I will follow you.
That's not a song.
I just want to know if you're ready.
Yeah, I'm ready.
Okay.
Thank you, Preper, for editing us and making us look good.
We appreciate you.
Let's watch.
And we only have a few minutes to talk about it.
Only a few minutes.
Oh, yeah, we had to check our phones.
Yeah, yeah.
We have legitimately.
Five minutes of dog reddit, so let's jump right into it.
All right.
By the way, if you are listening to us on Spotify or Apple, please give us that five-star of that good review.
We love to see it.
Okay.
So fascinating that this movie is as talked about as it is because, well, I'll just ask you, what were your thoughts on this?
I would say I liked it.
They did a good job of building tension.
I thought that the acting was really good.
The music and score was
fascinating, different than
a lot of movies that I've seen.
Definitely had that indie quality to it
about the lead really sold her being
afraid and just like the paranoia
of this whole thing.
There's some things that are a little confusing.
The ending is a little odd.
You know, I think there's, even though we
technically have a resolution, there's still that
looming thing of like, is it actually dead?
Are we actually safe?
I don't feel safe.
had a very ambiguous ending
because you think
just that the paranoia lingers
of that guy in the background
you're like,
is that someone falling there?
That's good probably,
right?
That's probably what they wanted
from us for us to feel
that lingering paranoia
in our own lives or whatever.
I feel like this was such a bomb premise
that that ultimately
carries the movie
but also ends up hurting the movie
because it carries the movie
because the premise alone
in an elevator pitch
like what if STD but ghost
or like whatever
it was monster, monster following you
and it's like that's unreal
but because that premise
I had such high expectations
when they introduce it
to me this movie needed to tighten up
its rules a little bit and I wanted
to know what are the rules of the world that
we're living in and maybe that's the point
that you don't know the rules which is supposed to be the creepy part
but like I kind of wanted to know what the box
we were playing in what are the
what's the sandbox what is
what is a like when it follows you
can you kill it
can you not because sometimes a shoot out
it can't hit it sometimes it seems like it can
sometimes it follows you sometimes it can throw things at you
like the fact that seems like it's a mindless thing
other times it seemed like it's smart and we heard it was smart
you know and so that was interesting
or like even with what's his name
the first person she slept with him being like
I didn't see for three days why did she see it immediately
he doesn't see it for three days, that seems different.
I'm curious about that, or was he seeing it the whole time, and he just wasn't aware of it?
Also, when it comes to Quest Mysteries, why did you show us Homeboy creepy?
Yeah.
Like, that's the same thing.
Ness, it felt like that was a plot point that we were going to layer see.
Somehow he's tied to something, or somehow he's not the one, but really.
And I didn't even know that it was him until you said it was him, because I was like, who is that body?
that's creepy there.
Right.
And if it's not him,
nothing else in the
indicated,
nothing else in the movie
indicated of being somebody else.
Right.
And then like we see
that he is kind of being creepy
and he's not cool with her
sleeping with the other guy or whatever.
And he did kiss her sister also.
And he's looking through playpen
while they need to be trying things
and he ends up finding something there.
But like there was multiple things where I was like,
wait,
that's that guy,
I think we're supposed to not like him.
But does the movie want me to like him?
Yeah.
Wild because I want to be in love with this movie.
And it has all of the things that could make me in love with the movie,
but it was slightly confusing and didn't set its rules hard enough for me to say A-plus,
but still good, but just not like where I think it could have been with a couple small adjustments.
Yeah, I'll see I liked it overall.
I also don't think I'm in love with it.
But I think that I'm someone who values strong characters.
Like, you can like a good plot and have good characters.
But if I had to choose the theme one, I would probably pick a very character-driven story.
And I think that, you know, for the character we were following, I wish I would have known more
about her, like, prior to the events of the movie, the granted, I thought that happened movie
was trying to be.
It was like wanting to build off this mystery, this thread of like what was following.
And I would have, yeah, I would have liked to know more.
I think that she plays what we do know very well, you know, and this whole thing of the
looming threat of this STP monster, um, definitely pure permeates throughout it.
It's like, uh, it's a vibe.
I would say this movie is more about, more about the vibe than it is like the coherency
of its plot.
Springs here, baseball's in full swing.
And if you're looking to make watching games even more exciting.
Check out prize picks are a go-to in the Daily Fantasy Sports category.
The reason this household is so in a prize fix is because it's super easy to use.
You just pick more or less on player staff projections like strikeouts, home runs, or
It's baseball terms for your chance to win up to 1,000 times your entry.
And unlike a lot of other apps, you can mix players from baseball and other sports like basketball, hockey, and even e-sports.
My wife has one of the specialty sports, so we've been playing prize picks for a while now.
And we love how quick it is to set up a lineup.
This week, we grab Shohei Otani for more than one home run and Julio Rodriguez for more than one stolen base.
Let's see if my gutta, but my gut, I mean, my wife's gut is right.
Another thing, too, they invented the flex play, which lets you still cash out even if one of your picks doesn't hit.
and the payouts, fast, safe, and secure.

Price Biggs, run your game, people.
Yeah, and it did take some big swings, and it did make a vibe.
What do you think about that ending statement from Clamshell Girl who's like,
your soul leaves your butt, you know, whenever it is at some point,
were they trying to tell us that these two people's souls are forever affected or like what was the point of that?
I was, I think for me it was like, even though you have this thing, you know, you've got rid of it, so to speak, you'll never do the same because even like the fact that it like it left a mark on her leg, even though it's not with her, it's still with her.
Yeah, totally.
You know, it's one of those movies where I feel like the people who are die hard for it.
If you're not die hard, they're like, it's just because you didn't understand it.
And it's like, I think I, even though parts were a little confusion,
I think I did completely understand it.
I got there.
Just some of it, I wish they did have time to flesh it out a little more, and it's a horror movie, and maybe that wasn't the point.
Like you said, it was more about creating this vibe, which it did.
And, like, even the fact that we need jokes about it continues to pan, like, they clearly had a strong sense of how they wanted to shoot this.
I thought that was a dream sequence.
You immediately know it wasn't, so it affects different people differently.
Yeah, that is an interesting one
I'm glad he saw it
It's referenced a lot now
Oh, 2015
So 50, so after Stranger Thanks
What else?
So you think was 60?
Yeah.
Interessante.
Okay, well, what did you guys think?
Let us know.
Follow us
So that it doesn't follow
you.
Nope, no wonder follow you.
I said what I said.
She said what she said.
You heard me.
She's standing on her, standing on this is.
What do you?
going to give us out of ten.
I'll give it...
I'll give it seven.
You go a seven out of ten.
I'm at, like, a, six-point-e.
Six-pointed.
Just, like, slightly below.
Yeah, yeah.
I would...
Here's the thing.
When I rate movies, I think, like, one, didn't make me feel something.
Two...
And it did.
It made me feel creeped out at times, yeah.
Two, would I show it to other people?
I feel like movies that are like eight and above
or like, oh yeah, I would definitely sit down
to show somebody else because I want to see their reaction to it.
I liked it, but not enough to be like,
yo, you got to watch this movie because it's crazy.
So I'll give it a step.
Okay.
All right, we're pretty similar on that one.
Thanks for you, Jax.
Let us know what you think.
And we'll see you next time.
Later.
Jesus.
Chris Whamoff.
Oh, boy, Chris.
If someone were to consistently be stalking us,
in a spiritual realm.
Ooh, it would be you.
I can't imagine to be anybody else
but Chris Whamoff, dude.
I'd actually be happy about that.
I know.
He keeps following us
and giving us money everywhere we go.
Yeah.
Like, I'm trying to be more altruistic.
I'm trying to give more
and you keep giving to me.
I can't stop receiving from you.
And that's actually apt for this movie,
you know, too.
It's like, it's overwhelming you
and you're like, oh, stop.
There's everywhere I look,
there's more money.
Yeah, it's kind of gross, right?
It makes you jump,
sometimes. Makes you jump a little too often. Especially when like a huge stack falls through your
doorway. Especially when a huge stack falls to your door. But then it comes closer and you're like,
whoa, it's a huge stack. It's like an avalanche cat. And that is the Chris Whamoff life.
That's definitely Chris. But I hope that you and your fiance are not dealing with any type of
situation like this, though, man. Chris is good. Because if this creature, this entity was
falling around Chris, I know Chris would somehow be able to talk it down and be able to, he paid off. He'd
it off you'd be able to be like there's five hundred dollars stop bothering me that's all the
creature really wanted in the movie is cash some cash that's fine it's a bum it's a hobbo falling you
around never figure it out can bum that's what they call them and so they call the homeless out here
call them bums no they call them fucking bums yeah and chris is like you bring the way from you
bum but it was money at them yeah he's a lot more dismissive he's not really good with his language
we just throw his money make sure that the gesture is properly counterbalanced
With his rudeness.
Eh, what are you going to do, man?
Like, how could you complain, though?
There's money.
I hope you're my STD one day.
S-T money.
