Starting point is 00:00:00 How do the most successful women do it? We ask them on how she does it with Karen Feinerman. You'll get insights from leaders like today's Jenna Bush Hager. There's a lot I say no to, and I think it's a really important word for women to use. Rachel Weber of Paris Hilton's 1111 media. I'm going to be a much better leader. I'm going to bring more creativity if I have other things filling my life. And more.
Starting point is 00:00:26 That's how she does it with me, Karen Feinerman, wherever you get your podcasts. Thank you to Hewle for sponsoring this video. More on them in just a bit. Whether you guys like us or not, you're still welcome to watch the Jeep Creep still with us. If Santa Claus was pink, it would be you right now. Like the white. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Let's go, baby. All right, you guys. We just got done watching Jeep Creep to. You continue to call it that is cracking me up. If you listen to us on Apple Spotify, gives a five-star rating. If you're on the YouTube, like comment, subscribe when you do ring the bell. Ring the bell. And you also get to send us questions. Anything that we're watching, 15% off all Reject News Shop Gear. We have some new She Jack shirts out.

Very cool from the Sheejects. We're always trying to drop new stuff for you guys. But I think it's up a little bit. Yeah, I'm looking by the date.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Oh, there we got it. Yeah, I found it. I saw more. That's why I was doing it so you could focus on what you're doing. Instead, you were trying to do what I was doing. But I got you and I was doing what you were doing. You do what you're doing, girl. Uh, that's it.
Starting point is 00:02:09 Just get on Patreon if you know, it's good for you. Uh, if you can follow my podcast or H-Pod, I'd be grateful. Um, you want to start us off with some questions, rocks? Or you want to just like, give us your thoughts first or what? How do you feel? I do agree with you that I think that this was like a, a nice way to get into Jeeperscripers 2 with a location. There's more people since we already know that it's a bat and he's flying around.
Starting point is 00:02:38 he can eat things and regenerate. I did really like the actors, like the cast and they did, were believable and grounded, and I like that. The things that I didn't like was the repetitive nature in the script that we could say anything else that could mean the same thing in a different way. I just think it, like, to me, that bugs me. It's like lazy writing. It's sort of just like, why are we taking up time with repeating a,
Starting point is 00:03:08 bunch of lines over and over again. But it didn't take me fully out of the story. That's just me clocking it and going like, why? Other than that, I enjoyed it. I was glad we got to see his face a lot, the lighting, the stunts, like I said, they use a lot of practical effects in this. I like that. I'm all about that life.
Starting point is 00:03:29 The guy that we know is named Ray Wise. He's been in a thousand things. He has 259 credits on IMDB, which is why we recognize. recognize him. Ah, there you go. A lot of TV shows. He, uh, he's a voiceover actor as well. Um, he plays commissioner Gordon, Batman, killing joke, which probably is why I recognize his voice. Yeah. Um, Twin Peaks. Oh, yeah, Twin Peaks. The movie, though, the, uh, Firewalk with me is what he did. Um, he was in multiple seasons of the young and the restless. Yeah. Good night and good luck. He's got a soap opera look. Um, yeah. So he's done a lot. Um, so he's done a lot.
Starting point is 00:04:08 He has. So one thing I will say, just so that we're always transparent with you guys. Between the last movie and this movie, Tara and I found out about the director of this and that made us like Uber uncomfortable. Totally. Especially because we didn't know about it. And then we were asked not to mention it until the question portion, the review portion of this today, because, you know, like we're watching it.
Starting point is 00:04:33 So we don't want it to be like the top of the show. And then it's like, distraction in our moment. mind or whatever. But one thing I will say is that it was, it totally distracted me. Yeah. While watching it. Like, I'm not very, I'm not great at separating the art from the artist. Yeah. I think that this movie was really solid. And I thought that the last movie was really solid. Right. But, you know, like, as you hear, and for those of you who don't know, you can look into it, but the director is a real fucking horrible person. And so, like,
Starting point is 00:04:59 watching in this, the whole thing being about kids and him being a peto, I was just like, it colored, it colored how I was looking at it too, with some of the lines and, like, the way that the shots are and I'm just like, oh, eh, eh, so I'm really attempting to separate the art from the artist here. Again, I,
Starting point is 00:05:15 I, it's not my job to do that, but I would be helpful in this moment if I was better at doing that and I'm not. So, I'm with you. Yeah, but all the other actors deserve a spotlight on, the gaffers,
Starting point is 00:05:27 the, you know, the sound and this is amazing. So yeah, still think that there's merit to covering it, even though like what a piece of shit the director is. So, um,
Starting point is 00:05:35 trying to really, really separate. that's I think it was really smart what they did for the sequel. Yeah. That we had more cast, more difficult time getting out of the location we're in. Because if you want a sequel to be different than your original and those things led for it to be different, I think that it looks amazing. The actual creeper is amazing. And yeah, that's how I felt in general.
Starting point is 00:05:59 And I'm curious what the Patreon questions have to say. Let's freaking rock and roll it. J. Dell, since Jeep are Creeper's Two, should. shows a creeper hunting in broad daylight with nowhere to hide. Do you think that it made him scarier? Did losing the darkness take away some of the fear for you? I think that if we, this has been the first movie, it would have taken away the fear. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:19 But being the second, we already knew. So like there was no point in keeping him in the darkness. I didn't think. I agree. I agree. It actually was cool, I think, to see him in in broad daylight where you're like, all right, give him something different since it's the sequel. I think it was necessary.
Starting point is 00:06:35 And they made him look good. He looked amazing. He looked really good, which was awesome. Awesome Joe movie reviews. I remember how much I loved, I loved probably is what he meant to say. The first one that made me and my brother tried to watch the second one in theaters, but couldn't because we were too little to watch the R-rated movie. Do you think a similar story about a movie you wanted to watch this kid, but couldn't because of the rating.
Starting point is 00:06:57 Thanks for your time. Stay awesome. Thanks, awesome show. I had parents who took me, would let me watch any R-rated movie and would take me or then get it on VHS if they didn't take me. So it actually never happened. And I kind of think that was a really smart choice, at least for where I was at, like showing interest in watching this stuff.
Starting point is 00:07:18 Yep. None of it ever scared. Like I, it didn't mess me up. My brother, on the other hand, watched E.T. And cried for 10 hours because it was so scary to him. So they were more maybe cautious with what he was watching. But like, I was showing signs of like, oh, my God, this is so cool. This is great.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Listen to your own kids about what they want. So I don't really have a story like that to you. Yeah, no, I don't have any that. I would be able to go to radar movies and my mom would just cover my eyes if there was like nudity. Oh, that's funny. And then what it was done, I could watch again. It's funny when parents care more about sex and violence. Right.
Starting point is 00:07:52 Like it's like, no boobies, but. Pop, pop, pop, pop. Yeah. And well, it's funny because it's like, like we said, like, you know, when the she just came together, horror, horror scream queens. Yep. We had, we were not horror girls. So back in the day, I would never watch a horror movie.
Starting point is 00:08:08 It was never, it was like action, anything else, but no horror. But now, obviously, look at where we are. Guys, girls, rejects, I cannot believe we are already a month into 2026. Now last year I made this whole big goal about dropping a bunch of wade, went on a big cut, which was fun. But now this year, I want to enjoy a little bit more food and, of course, have a healthier relationship with food in my own body, as a matter of fact. It's more about maintenance and overcoming some mental body dysmorphia things that I deal with.
Starting point is 00:08:39 And a big part of that has been choosing foods that are good for me while also choosing ones that taste good. And that's where something like Hewold has been a big part of that. As a matter of fact, I actually use Hewold a few times during the week during my cut, but I just haven't been able to let them go. The black condition ready to drink is just so dang efficient and tasty. The chocolate peanut butter one is the talk of the town. If you watch our most recent live stream, we went on a random tangent talking about how this is so good. It wasn't a sponsored segment. We just had a chit chat about it.
Starting point is 00:09:04 And speaking of chit-chatting about it with Koi, I found this one, but this is true. I found this hidden behind a bunch of sparkling water. I was like, I need to shoot this for the A-out. And I wasn't able to find it. I'm pretty sure Koi hit this because he's coming in tomorrow and he wanted to make sure no one else was able to take it while we're waiting for a reorder. I'm on to you, son of a bee. Anyway, it's a complete meal in a bottle. Pack for 35 grams of protein, 27 essential vitamins and minerals.
Starting point is 00:09:25 No artificial sweeteners, gluten-free, vegan. Each bottle under five bucks in an actually keeps me full. If I want something a little thicker, more customizable, you can also take their black edition powder. a whole bunch of flavors at home. I take one of these like four to five times a week. They're daily greens. Daily, I should take them seven days a week. Anyway, it's not about perfection.
Starting point is 00:09:41 It's about consistency. And they really help me keep consistent, especially when I'm too lazy to, you know, pack food for here. Anyway, limited time offer. Get a Hewled today with my exclusive offer of 15% off online with my code. Rejects at huel.com slash rejects new customers only. Thank you to Heel for partnering and supporting our channel yet again. Um, the retro witch.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Tara and Roxy hope you're doing well. I like this one way better than the first. It felt more like a traditional 80s horror slasher, where the first one felt more like a mystery with barely any kills outside of the cops and off-screen deaths in the cave. Do you think this movie works better? Is a horror movie, or do you prefer the more mystery vibe
Starting point is 00:10:17 of the first film? Also, is the creepier, scarier in this one? Oh, is the creeper scarier in this one? I do think you're dead accurate with the slasher versus mystery. The first one did feel more like a mystery. I think I give the slight edge to the first. one because I really loved, even though at first I was like, oh my God, it's kind of odd.
Starting point is 00:10:39 I really loved the sibling dynamic and I loved knowing the two characters. And this one, there's really like not a character that I loved. The Izzy I liked. And then there were some, but like it wasn't, you're not like really, really rooting for one specific person. Right. And even though they're making dumb choices, I was rooting for the brother and sister and last one.
Starting point is 00:10:59 So it's all about the character development and I do like that mystery vibe. Yeah. I think the creeper is maybe scarier in the first one because we didn't know what he was. Agreed. That's. Because I was like, what the hell? Like, the scariest thing to me was when they were driving something, when he hopped up on that car. And I was like, what the fuck?
Starting point is 00:11:18 He can like, like, what? The thing at the cat lady's house. And it was like, oh, my God. What is he capable? What is he? Yeah. That was wild. So I'm not sure if I can tell you whether it works better as a mystery or a horror slasher.
Starting point is 00:11:31 I think we could combine both. And I think, but I think that this being like the horror slash or traditional thing is probably what people really wanted to see more kills. And that was a lot of fun. And so were the stunts. So I'm like, this is fun. Two things I need to address that I have not addressed yet. Say it.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Let's have it. And I need your help with. Yeah. Number one, what was up with that peeing orgasm thing? That never came back. Exactly. And I thought of that when you were saying what we were learning about, prior to what was up with that watching this i was like theorizing i'm like as nasty what you were like
Starting point is 00:12:06 the orgasm like that was weird that was weird it was weird and it was obviously i don't think an actor's choice i believe it was a direction which it makes it even creepier and then the closeted or not is he is in he totally where i'm like a lot of it a lot and there's no payoff and there's no payoff there's no payoff not that there we wanted one to be there obviously but when you write that in a script Right. There's a payoff for it. Like we're teenage boys. We can be making fun of somebody for anything. Like, why do we choose that? And why do we choose to never reveal if he is or isn't gay? And then kind of just like, what's the point? We spend so much time on it. So I do think that this movie being an hour 45 as opposed to first one being an hour and a half did hurt this movie. I do think that this movie. I do think that this movie. I agree with you. I don't think anything really needs to be more than 90. minutes, but that's just my opinion. But yeah, there's, yeah, those two things that didn't pay off for us are it's like, well, yeah. Yeah. Weird. Pierre, the reject says, I like this movie more than the first one. My question is, what was your favorite kill in the movie? There weren't that many. I did like when we were picking off the teachers, we picked them all off. Yeah, yeah. I do think that there's something to, the older you are, they're more afraid you are. And he could sense the fear in all the teachers. And like, there's all the older people that go first.
Starting point is 00:13:36 They really go crack. Yeah. Because they do have that fear of like, we're protecting the entire teenage bus. Totally. And like, oh, no. Oh, shit. So I thought that that was realistic. And I liked that.
Starting point is 00:13:48 And then when Scotty gets killed, I was satisfied because he had been such a toad the whole movie. What a doucheerama. Yeah. I think when the kid, when the kid's head gets taken off, when they, when they pull him and you hear the, and I assume he takes it. And it is the headless guy. That was a lot of fun. That was really cool. And then to see the head merge, that was very cool.
Starting point is 00:14:06 That was a good one. Yeah. Okay. Jay Rushden says, do you guys ever take a school bus wire in school? I did not. How did you school? A carpool. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:17 Yeah, I took a bus until my brother was old enough to drive. Was it lame? Part of it was fun. Like, the thing that sucked is because they have to make so many stops. You have to go so early. I would hate that. Walking to the bus when it's cold, sucked. sucked. Sometimes I would get my mom to drive me to the bus stop.
Starting point is 00:14:34 She'd be like, I don't want to drive you all the way to school, but I'll take you down the street to the bus stop because there'd be so much snow and ice. It was freezing. So that was... Terrible. But sometimes the bus was cool because, like, there'd be like a guy you like, you could flirt with him a little, you know, when you're like 12 years old, and you get to sit on the bus next to somebody. And like you're on the bus for like an hour and you're playing games and whatever. And so then you get to meet, you get to really know him or get to make friends and stuff. It's like an excuse to hang or whatever and like, you know, or sometimes I'd like to attach to the back of the bus.
Starting point is 00:15:02 I'd make friendship bracelets on the bus and stuff. So, yeah. Sounds like Ross was popular on the bus. I would say, actually, I was made fun of a lot on the bus. Really? Yeah. However. That's what I assumed, like, buses and bullies.
Starting point is 00:15:14 I didn't know as much at the time. Like, I just was kind of doing my thing. And then, like, I would get to school. And then, like, people would make, like, in the, in the textbooks, they'd write, like, Roxy loves Joey, like, because they'd see me on the bus with stuff and fling racers at me and stuff. But while on the bus, I thought that it was fun. Yeah, I'm glad that watching us all the bunch she's in her in her La La La Land.
Starting point is 00:15:35 Exactly. I mean, like, thank goodness. Yeah, totally. Because I would have hated that if I was in the La La La Land. I would have been like, I'm never going to school again. Yeah. Jay Dell says the entire school bus was built specifically for this movie so it could be torn apart piece by piece during the filming.
Starting point is 00:15:51 The production team designed it, knowing the creeper would literally dismantle it over the course of the film. Yeah, and they had to do that with all the glass too. And they did destroy it. so that makes sense it was probably cheaper to design something than it would be to buy something and then redo all the elements that you needed to be in breakaway glass and whatnot. Totally. I wonder if they did that.
Starting point is 00:16:10 Probably not with the truck. The truck was older. Maybe they could just find a beater upper. But that's a fun piece of trivia for me. I like that. Oh, right. All right. All right.
Starting point is 00:16:24 All right. Okay, you got any last thoughts? I enjoyed this film. just you guys already know what i didn't like i didn't like the the repetitive nature of the script i think that could have been bumped up but honestly we come here for the kills and to see the creeper and the the special effects right and the stunts and that was all cool so yeah yep surprised nobody in the comments that i saw at least nobody is referencing how much this is like penny wise how do you guys not see like the year the year thing like coming back around right like that's totally a penny wise
Starting point is 00:16:57 Yep. Nobody's mentioned that. I didn't see it. She knows. I'm not in the comments, but. I am. Be nice. Roxy looks.
Starting point is 00:17:04 Be nice. Be cool. Be kind. We got to get out of here. We love you guys. Thanks for joining us. See you on the next one.
