The main voice cast includes Arden Cho as Rumi, May Hong as Mira, Ji-young Yoo as Zoey, Ahn Hyo-seop as Jinu, Byung Hun Lee as Gwi-Ma, Yunjin Kim as Celine, Ken Jeong as Bobby, Daniel Dae Kim as Healer, Liza Koshy as Host, and Joel Kim Booster in multiple roles. The movie just became even bigger after winning 2 Oscars at the 2026 Academy Awards: Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for “Golden.” “Golden” also made history as the first K-pop song to win Best Original Song at the Oscars. The soundtrack has been a massive part of why this movie exploded, with the current biggest songs led by “Golden,” followed by “How It’s Done,” “Your Idol,” “Soda Pop,” “What It Sounds Like,” and “Takedown.” “Golden” spent 18 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Global 200, while chart coverage has also highlighted the strong runs of “How It’s Done,” “Your Idol,” “Soda Pop,” “What It Sounds Like,” and “Takedown.” Follow Jon Maturan: https://www.instagram.com/jonmaturan/?hl=en Follow Roxy Striar YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@TheWhirlGirls Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/roxystriar/?hl=en Twitter:  https://twitter.com/roxystriar Intense Suspense by Audionautix is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/... Starting point is 00:00:00 One plus one equals more of the greatest stories. Hulu on Disney Plus. Stories about... Survivors. The most dangerous planet. Family. Retribution. Murder.
Starting point is 00:00:10 Prophecy. Beer and propane. Bolly Diller. Blake Pantha. The ultimate soldier. Chicago, all right? The best of the best stories now with even more from Hulu. Amazing.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Have it all with BYU on Disney Plus. You might be tempted to let Taco Bay. Bell's new Lux value menu, go to your head. Because 10 indulgences for $5 or less makes you feel fancy. Like you might think you need cloth napkins. Well, you don't. Just use the ones that come in the bag.
Starting point is 00:00:42 Don't let the luxe go to your head. This week's videos are sponsored by Price Picks, the easy-to-use fantasy sports betting app. More on them in just a bit. Okay, I can't wait any longer. We got to watch K-pop David. Is everybody ready, yeah, let's go. All right, thank you so much to Prepper
Starting point is 00:01:04 for helping edit us down. We really appreciate you guys. You are not already. Think about becoming a patron. Patreon.com slash Real Rejects. That's where you can sync up with your own copy. That's where Greg and John cover stuff exclusively. That's where you get discounts on our sick merch, RejectNation Shop.com.
Starting point is 00:01:16 This is our newest drop. Yeah. The Hore. I don't know if that's a problem for this show. Can't say it. I don't know. Listen, it is a pretty dope shirt. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:01:26 If you want more of a classic, a staple. Yeah. That's a great one as well. I like the color on that. Oh, thanks. What do we call that? Salmon. It said solid desert pink.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Exactly. Exactly, LJ. That's what I was thinking. Yep. Another cool thing you get to do on Patreon is you get to ask us questions. And with those questions, we do our reviews. But before we get to those questions, we like to talk a little bit about the,
Starting point is 00:01:52 just our initial feelings on coming right off of a movie, especially a movie of this volume that everybody's been talking about for months. Yeah. Almost a year now at this point that it's been out for. Oh, yeah, yeah. Because it's a 2025 release. Yes. So, LJ, hit me.
Starting point is 00:02:09 How'd you feel about K-pop demon hunters? Wow, I am immensely surprised how much I enjoyed it because I didn't know the plot at all. I just assumed it was K-pop singers fighting demons and that was it. I didn't know about like the hybrid demon storyline with our main character Rumi. I didn't know that there was going to be this redeeming quality to some demon. I thought like demons were strictly like the villain, the bad guy, the, you know, all that stuff. So ultimately, it was crazy that, oh, there it is, that I was like, I couldn't find it in Latin. Find the scenes.
Starting point is 00:02:50 Little John is a little distracted right now. No, yeah. Oh, there it is. No idea what the audience is right about. Yeah. Keep going, my dude. No, yeah. No, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:01 And honestly, I, I, I, what I'm genuinely surprised the most, I, I, I, I, I, I, I'm genuinely surprised the most. was the allegorical commentary on like, I guess not self-esteem, would you say? Or like your past, your history, whether it be bad or good, kind of haunting you to a certain degree. And that got me emotional.
Starting point is 00:03:30 I didn't, I got like a little bit moved where because something I forgot what the song was at the very end about like your scars you don't have to lie about it anymore or something along those lines but that was moving I didn't I didn't again I didn't know anything about the movie so I didn't expect that
Starting point is 00:03:49 like I that's a really deep concept to like even dive into into such a like a again not children's but like an animated movie that would gear towards or lean towards a child audience
Starting point is 00:04:05 or children audience, or a younger audience, I should say. And so, there's so many, like, there's this Japanese word. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:04:15 What, I guess, I think it's called, Kaisen for self-improvement? No, Kaizen is, constant improvement, constant development.
Starting point is 00:04:25 It's Kitsugi or Kinsugi? I think I'm getting it wrong. Just tell us what is the... It means that, like, when every, when you break, like, a China or,
Starting point is 00:04:35 And you can't put it back together. You put it back together with gold because those cracks and it makes it more beautiful. So your your broken self or whatever isn't a negative thing. It's a positive thing, right? Yeah, something along those lines. I forgot with that. That's beautiful though. I get what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:04:53 Yeah, yeah. It reminds me that kind of the whole plot of the movie kind of thing. But yeah, I'm genuinely and thoroughly surprised how much I liked it. I'm not saying I wasn't going to like it, but how much more depth it had. I knew it was a good movie from all the talk around it. And it makes sense why it won two Oscars last night. So yeah, how about you?
Starting point is 00:05:16 How'd you like it? I feel so with you. I think this movie just worked on so many levels. And that's why I touched so many different kinds of audiences. Like I knew when back of the day, John and Greg, big John and Greg did a reaction. They went to go see this in the movie theater.
Starting point is 00:05:31 Oh, wow. And they were like singing every lyric. And Greg said he was like crying. And they're so connected to the movie. And then I was talking to my little cousin. She was like, this is the greatest movie of the year. And then Halloween, you see people that are our age. You see people that are 20 years older than us.
Starting point is 00:05:47 You see people 20 years younger than us dressing as these characters. I knew when it started to, when we started to see all that. And not to mention people who were black, Asian, white, like, boys, girl, everywhere, everybody. there didn't seem to be one type of audience member that loved this. Yeah, yeah. That it probably had something really special to it. Absolutely. And then, of course, seeing it win the two Oscars, all of that before we watched it,
Starting point is 00:06:12 I was like, I don't even think this could possibly be over-hyped for us because I haven't talked to one person who was like, yeah, it was okay. Yeah, true. Like everybody was just like, no. And now I get why. It's because on all the different levels, right? Like, the plot is really inspirational. And I think that even at the end, when we see Zoe and Mira, start to face it.
Starting point is 00:06:31 their inner demons as they're coming forward. It's not just Rumi. It's not just the actual demons. It's not just Genu. It's every one of us has things that we wish we didn't do from our past or which didn't happen to us from our past or that we feel shame about or that we overthink or that we ruminate, which I don't think it's a surprise. And her name is Rumi.
Starting point is 00:06:53 Rumi. We're ruminating on. And so I feel like those concepts and all of that, that really worked for me. I also think it's always really smart when you have a movie where, where it's like, who are you, are you roomy or are you mirror? Oh, sure, yeah. You relate to more. Their vibes were very different.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Their aesthetics were very different. Their upbrings were very different. And so, like, at first I'm like, oh, I love Rumi, but then I was like, I'm a mirror. I know myself for a mirror. It's like, when you watch Friends or you watch Seinfeld or you watch any of these things and you're like, who are you? What character is you? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:20 Right? So it does that. Then the songs aren't just like little puff piece songs. Yes. The songs, the lyrics are beautiful. They're absolute bangers. So it had just everything. and then having the romance with Genu,
Starting point is 00:07:34 the sacrifice, the elements of friendship and coming together and supporting one another. Talking about your secrets, denial, lies, like just everything that you could want from a movie, this nailed, just,
Starting point is 00:07:48 chef's kiss as good as I had hoped to have been. Hell yeah. Yes, yes. I'm curious what the people at home are wanting to know from the show. So let's get to some of these Patreon questions. Here we go, starting with Pierre the Reject. Pierre says,
Starting point is 00:08:01 Hello, little John and Roxy. Glad this movie won best animated feature and it got me into K-pop. Oh, that's cool. That is cool. What was your favorite songs in the movie and what would you want in the sequel which not be released
Starting point is 00:08:15 until 2029 or later? Okay, damn. I want to make it that long. Yeah. Yeah, it's something to live for, right? Favorite song? It's hard to not say Golden Avi. Yeah, yeah. I was leaning towards that already.
Starting point is 00:08:28 From jump. Yeah. The voice is inside my head. song at the end was really good as well. It's interesting about Takedown because while I love that song, they had such qualms with that song. Yes, yes. You know, they were like the hatred in this song
Starting point is 00:08:43 and I was like, oh, I hear you. Like the vibe and the beat is so great, but the lyrics aren't as inspirational as something like Golden or voices inside my head. And then I like the boy band songs too a lot. Yeah, yeah, the Saja Boys songs. No, I think, yeah, with Takedown, agree with you but the the little
Starting point is 00:09:03 changes that Rumi made again it's not the full song that kind of made it better but again we don't get to see that fully realized because they never really sing it unless in the third act of the movie but um favorite song has to be golden right like it I or no I I would lean towards that last song whatever it's called your voice is inside of my head yeah it was so good My little soda pop was fluff.
Starting point is 00:09:33 Yes, definitely. Yeah, yeah. Introduction to the Saja boys for sure. But then we had the your idol song, the preaching to the choir, one of theirs. That was really good and very demonic at the end. You know, kind of reminded me of like no strings attached with their movements. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. In the beginning we had that song, Done, done, done, which they referenced a couple of times
Starting point is 00:09:51 that I really liked as well. I honestly will listen to the soundtrack over and over, and I will watch this movie until the day I die. Yeah. I watch it's 80 more. I got to watch it again. Before we get to more Patreon questions,
Starting point is 00:10:03 I forgot that I promised you guys something. Little John. Yeah. Our resident dancer. Oh. Okay. We were grooving for the whole movie. Yes, we were.
Starting point is 00:10:16 I need a little lesson. School me for a second. Okay. Okay. So for the people that don't know, what's your dance background? So I'm considered a B-Boy. I've been breaking for,
Starting point is 00:10:29 23 years now since 03. And does breaking K-pop go together ever? Is that like... I don't know. That's a good question. I'm... This is kind of my full legitimate introduction to K-pop. I mean, I know of the music, but I've never really... I mean, I know of... What's their... Blackbank? No. BTS. Like, I'm aware of them. I've never really listened to their music. And no shade against them. I just... I never lean towards that.
Starting point is 00:10:55 So with breaking... So there's a big breaking... presence in Korea, in South Korea, for sure. Cool. They're arguably one of the best countries to represent, to be honest. Was any of the dance moves in this breaking? No, I didn't see any breaking. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know enough to know.
Starting point is 00:11:13 No worries, no, yeah, yeah. Anything like with our hands? So that's the thing. So breaking, for those who want to get really educated on this, breaking is the, like the gymnastics-looking engagement on the floor, right? It's like you're spinning on your head, your elbows, all that stuff. It became an Olympic sport, man. Yes, exactly.
Starting point is 00:11:29 So break dancing I told us to tear it I guess if we can share it with you guys Break dancing is not our term We actually No no no no no no no you have nothing to apologize He's a dancer He's like I'm not a break dance
Starting point is 00:11:42 No no no no So break dancing is a media term that they They created and it was never our term right So breaking is is are the term we use And among Among the hip hop street dance umbrella There is breaking and there's something called popping and so I'm not a popper.
Starting point is 00:12:00 That's like I was to think of the robot. Okay. That's what popping kind of is, right? Like it's isolations of the muscles, whatever, and you look like a robot or you're literally popping your, so I'm not, I can't teach you a breaking move because of the room. Okay, fine, fine, fine. I can teach you a popping thing that I know.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Well, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Yeah, I'm, hey, I didn't think of it. And then we're getting to your questions, but I needed to share the talent, the skill. All right. So this is something that I can do just for fun when I'm, diving out like at a bar that has a dance floor. Um, okay.
Starting point is 00:12:31 Clear the space. No, you don't have to. It's, it's really simple. So, okay, it's, okay, I'm going to do it first. And I'm pretty sure, I'm pretty sure you can, it's easy. So it's kind of like an isolation. So all you got to do is your, uh, hand on your chin. And you give yourself like a double chin.
Starting point is 00:12:47 And then you push your chest out and it looks like you're going back. Oh, okay. So I protrude your chin out more so it could be easier. Right. So then push in. and then push your chest. Wait, chest in or out? Chest in.
Starting point is 00:13:02 Oh, okay. So, um, do it? No, so push. So, so, so,
Starting point is 00:13:10 so I don't know if you can see my profile. Yeah. So it's supposed to look like this, in that, and this and that, and it's like a staircase going downwards. You can,
Starting point is 00:13:19 so when you do push your chest down, your, your chin should stay where it was put. Oh. So yeah. Kind of. There you go. So yeah. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Okay, okay. Very cool. Yeah, that's it. That's it. It's really quick. If you're not trying at home, are you really living? I know, there you go. No shame. No shame. All right, here we go. Let me start with something honest. I'm not the most hardcore sports person in the world, believe it or not. But I am hardcore about my love for my wife.
Starting point is 00:13:47 She's the reason I even discovered fantasy sports. She and her friends play together. And I wanted a way to join in without needing to know every stat sheet in existence. That is actually how I discovered. Price picks. Price picks is a daily fantasy sports app where you build lineups by picking more or less on player stat projections. You pick two to six players and if your picks are right, you have the opportunity to cash in. It's basically fantasy sports built around player stats instead of drafting entire teams. So it feels way easier to jump onto, especially for someone like myself.
Starting point is 00:14:17 You can pick from tons of sports, basketball, baseball, hockey, UFC, golf, tennis, e-sports, and more. Whatever those more are. They have great features like the early payouts. the stacks and flex play price picks they operate in all 50 states and that includes california and withdraws are fast and secure so rejects you can download the price picks app today and use code rejects to get $50 in lineup after you play your first $5 lineup that's code rejects to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup price fix it's good to be right uh little john hit us with jdell jdell says hi john roxy in the movie the group's music is
Starting point is 00:14:58 literally part of how they fight evil. Oh yeah, I guess I didn't really realize that. Do you think the movie is saying that performance and identity are forms of power or that fame itself can become a kind of weapon? Both because it depends on what side you're on because we see the boy band using fame as a weapon.
Starting point is 00:15:15 Right. And we see the girls using it to defeat that. I think that's, you know, it's always all powers can be used for good or evil. All weapons can be used for good or evil. Absolutely. Yeah. uh the power of speech and the weapon of speech is one of those including singing and voice and also this mm-hmm yeah damn that sure sure definitely 100% um so yeah performance and identity in general can be our forms of power definitely um and like i could agree with what you're saying like um it could be used for good or
Starting point is 00:15:57 evil, just how you use it, right? Or fame itself. That's a little more on the nose and easier and obvious. But yeah, I would say yes. So yeah, go ahead. Thomas Doherty, K-pop demon hunters, love this movie, but I do wish it was a little longer, and they show more of the history of the girls
Starting point is 00:16:16 becoming demon hunters, especially for Rumi and her guardian. I just think it makes the climax hit a little harder. Do you agree or disagree? To have it a little longer. So, I mean, in regards to having a history, of their training montage or something or like them becoming i think we see that you know there's always three but we don't know exactly like how these three were oh yeah came together and stuff yeah i think that's what this person's saying for me personally i don't actually think it needed to be longer i feel like
Starting point is 00:16:42 especially if they're going to do a sequel we can kind of do flashbacks but as this movie is already an hour 40 minutes and as it does cater to kids i just don't think that any of that backstory is necessary in order to see this group if we were going to see more of anybody although i'll I would have watched five hours of this, but if you're going to see more of anybody, I am kind of curious about the demons that were not Genu. Ah, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah. How about y'all? Right.
Starting point is 00:17:07 Like, what y'all do? Romance and Abby and all them. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because you guys are just down for the cause. Yes. Yeah, we're going to take these girls out. But there's also some flirty vibes going on, too. So, I don't know, just, but I understand why they didn't say that here because
Starting point is 00:17:23 that would be a whole different movie, which is why I'm excited for a sequel. Definitely. No, yeah, I don't think it needed to be longer. That would have been cool, but yeah, I don't, it doesn't need it. It's almost like, I know this sounds cliche, but like it's perfect how it is. Yeah, I agree. I agree. What are we got with Resonance?
Starting point is 00:17:41 Resonant says, glad to see another reaction to the movie. I would say, I hope you to enjoy the movie. Apparently, we did. But I already know you did. Okay. The way the action in the fight scenes synced up with the music was just amazing. question, which character do you feel closest resembles or resonates with you? Here we go. Hope you two have a great rest of your day with the songs stuck in your head. But yeah, that's
Starting point is 00:18:05 happening for sure. Um, we're going up. Yeah. Uh, I actually, I feel conflicted about you. I could go through all of the real rejects and tell you who I feel like. Oh, cool. I felt a little conflicted about you. Because I think that you are a roomy Zoe Cross breed. Okay. How do you feel you are? Hmm. Hmm. Good question.
Starting point is 00:18:33 Wait, how did you come? I need to know your process. I need to know your answer first. Who I resonate or with your assessment? Who you resonate. Ah, damn it. I don't know. Um.
Starting point is 00:18:47 Damn. That's a good question. I leaned towards ironically, Mira. Huh. Because I'm. Oh. I can see why you would think someone like Zoe
Starting point is 00:18:59 Because I'm Wait, what was her issue again? Or not her, not issue, but. Less of an issue and more just like She's had all these ideas, but she didn't know that anybody would care about them until Oh, right. What she was talking about.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Oh, yeah. And in the end when she's walking, she's like, I'm too much or whatever. Oh, sure. The reason is because you've opened up on the channel before about some of your things with yourself. And for Roomy, I do feel like she felt like she had to kind of hide things inside before she opened up. So that I felt like kind of resonated with some of the things that you've shared before.
Starting point is 00:19:40 Definitely. But with Zoe, it's more her personality that I felt like. Like, she's very bubbly and, like, brings a lot to the table. And you're usually in a pretty good mood, too. I hope so. Yeah. So I felt like you're kind of a mixture of the two of them. Oh, that's so sweet.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Oh, thanks, Marcia. That kind of... I mean, I just... Maybe because it was very... No, yeah, that's a wrong assessment, I think. I jumped to it because I have... It seems like Mirra is a little more cynical than all...
Starting point is 00:20:09 Yeah, yeah, yeah. And sometimes I have my episodes of cynicism, but... But yeah, through your assessment, I'd lean towards Zoe, mainly because... I would say that for you if I had to pick one. Yeah. Because she was also...
Starting point is 00:20:23 Correct me wrong, she was insecure about, like, too much and being a people pleaser. Right, that, exactly. So, yeah, I would lean towards that. And then Rumi having to deal with a lot of her, like, what she's hiding. I'm not, I don't know if I was hiding anything. But, like, I get it.
Starting point is 00:20:38 Yeah, Zoe, probably. And also, it's weird because that's my ex-girlfriend's name. Oh, that's so weird. Pover for you. I'm definitely a mirror. Fair. I feel like I have, everybody's got, like, little bits and pieces of other people. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:53 I definitely come off when she was giving her monologue. Like, before I met you guys, I felt like it was a weakness that I'm abrasive and aggressive and very blunt and say exactly what I mean. And I'm definitely all of those things, but I do like that about myself. Yeah, that's a good thing. At this age, you know, I think when I was younger, I was just like, when I moved to L.A., I was like, why are people just not really like me here coming from Boston? Oh, sure. And then now I'm just like, I don't like you. Yeah, whatever.
Starting point is 00:21:17 I like me. Absolutely. And I found people who do. So, yeah, and I also think she's also still a good person. person and she, while she was like trying to give Roomy the opportunity to come, you know, she really was like clocking the situation. She's like a good reader of people, which I think I am too. She was coming on so strong that she was actually giving room for Rooney to open up.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Yeah. And I've been definitely known to do that before. Cool. Oh yeah. Okay, let's see. Jaden Rhodes. Jayden says, my question is, do y'all think this movie deserved the win for best animated movie at the Oscars last night.
Starting point is 00:21:54 I really liked the movie, but I personally much preferred Zootopia 2. I didn't see Zootopia 2. Neither have I. I've only seen the first one. It sounds like we have a reaction. There we go. And it just released on Disney Plus, like I think yesterday or something. So it's unfair for us to answer this question, but what I will say is yes, I think that this deserved best
Starting point is 00:22:10 animated movie. And I also think, just with the story of the actual performers and the people worked on this and their Oscar run, and then how that displayed on screen. It just, it was never going to go to Zootopia too. A lot of this is about like the campaign and whether it should or shouldn't be. I would have been, it would be the biggest shock of the night if this
Starting point is 00:22:32 didn't win. No, I agree. Like it had so much momentum and it makes sense why it did now that I've seen the movie. So like, um, was it deserved the win? Absolutely. Um, and I can only say that mainly because this is one of the only nominees I've seen, I think. I don't remember, uh, whatever the other nominees, I remember thinking like, oh, I haven't seen a lot of those. So I would say it's deserving of it because it's actually very good. But you don't know by comparison. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:03 There you. Yeah. Yeah. Final question coming from Jay Russian. Jay Russian asked. Question. What's your favorite Asian food? Great question.
Starting point is 00:23:11 We saw a lot of good looking food in here. There was a lot of sushi being featured. And I was like, oh, I love sushi. And a lot of, yeah. It's cool to get like a Korean cultural kind of exposure of a Korean food. Because apparently a lot of cinema doesn't really show that. So especially mainstream kind of movies like this. Yeah, agreed.
Starting point is 00:23:27 And a lot of different types of Asian food that isn't just Korean. Yeah, yeah. They showed too. I think that what's so difficult about this question, obviously, is that you ask specifically Asian. If you had asked Korean, I would have had a solid answer. But for Asian food, I mean, like, how are we going to compare Korean to Chinese? Yeah, that's hard.
Starting point is 00:23:43 Japanese to Indian to. Like, there's just so many good. Yeah. But if you had to, had to pick. one Asian food, what would it be? Oh, man, that's tough. Ironically, I would lean, because I'm a big carnivore meat eater, I'd probably lean towards Korean barbecue, right?
Starting point is 00:24:07 Like, you get... What's the food? What's your... Oh, um... I get, that's the genre. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:24:17 Bulgogi or, um, or what's it called? You like the red meats. Yeah, a lot of red meat for sure. Yeah. How about you? What's your answer? I don't think that this is a solid answer, but I will say that, like, if I could only pick one for the rest of my life. Like, because sushi's too broad, right?
Starting point is 00:24:35 There's so much as a sushi. So, like, I can't really say sushi. Right. Like, I think that my answer ultimately would be fried rice. Right. That's cool. Yeah. I like love fried rice.
Starting point is 00:24:44 Yeah, yeah. Specifically pork fried rice. Oh, cool. I feel like I can eat pork right rice for every meal for the rest of my life and be happy. I can't argue. with you. And you can put different veggies in it, different meats in it, whatever. Have you ever had real KFC Korean Fried Chicken?
Starting point is 00:24:59 I don't know. Yeah. Where is it? You can, you can, any, there's so many famous Korean fried food. I've had a lot of Korean food, so probably. Yeah, Korean fried chicken is like known for really crispy, really. Like I also lean towards that. Does it come in like wings form almost?
Starting point is 00:25:16 It can, yeah. Yeah, definitely. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, there's just way too many to. pick from but absolutely.
Starting point is 00:25:22 Leave your favorite Asian food in the comments. I appreciate you guys. Anything else that we got to tell the people other than the fact that
Starting point is 00:25:29 we'll be back in 2029 or later to cover K-K-K-KVen-E X too? I can't wait to re-watch this and really dissect it
Starting point is 00:25:37 more. But yeah, I hope you guys took a lot from the movie because it's actually pretty deep psychological kind of
Starting point is 00:25:46 reflection. I agree. It's pretty cool. But yeah, I enjoyed it. I agree. I hope that Gino is
Starting point is 00:25:51 still alive. Oh, and that he's like in the sequel and stuff? Yeah, I do. Because I want a Gino, roomy romance. Fair. I think that that's... Did you feel like a lot of...
Starting point is 00:26:04 Did you ever watch a Lala Land? Yeah. Did you ever feel like there was like... Omages to it? That's interesting when the two of them were dancing up and just or whatever. Yeah, I could see exactly what you're saying. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:14 I really was focused on the Josie and the PussyCats element of this, which is not as deep of a movie, if I'm just being honest. Yeah, yeah. But it is as fun. Like it's got that. Right. But yeah, I could see the La La Land elements.
Starting point is 00:26:26 It has a lot of borrowed from different things, even the mirror mirror on the wall. Yes, that's true. It did reference a lot. It was very self-aware. Yeah, excellent. I'm going to not only just rewatch the movie, but I'm going to rewatch our reaction. I'm going to listen to the soundtrack on my way home. I'm going to do all the things.
Starting point is 00:26:42 And I'm going to be back here with Liljohn in 2029 or later for the sequel. We'll see you guys there. Later, Rejects. Stay golden.
