Starting point is 00:02:25 So much occurred here. Mm-hmm. So much occurred. How mad are you going to miss? Thadis. You're like so sad. He was your favorite character. Our favorite character, the one we got to know the most.

Starting point is 00:02:39 So, you know, it's really, it's really going to be a real heartbreak. The show will never be the same without him. All right, Thetus. But this was a great episode, though. Well, this was phenomenal. This is what I've been waiting for for the past couple of seasons. And it did not disappoint. I enjoyed this one more than last week's episode.

Starting point is 00:02:59 I don't know. I think it's, I think it might be tied with, with episode, uh, five. Yeah, episode five.

Starting point is 00:03:08 I think because this is, yeah, this is seven. That was five. Um, yeah, this was great. I really bought into the hype of,

Starting point is 00:03:17 of drag. I believe he is this thread that we've been waiting for. He feels more threatening than Nessa, feels more threatening than Lamyman, obviously. And more threatening than conquest. Just in his stillness, not his brute,

Starting point is 00:03:28 whose brutality, but his strategic strength, the fact that he can just move an inch because he's just so calculated in how he is able to anticipate people's moves and the quickness and the strength that he both shows, but also in his restraint, it was just phenomenal. I think the fact that we saw them go through the planet was freaking insane. Didn't see that coming because, you know, how often you see your heroes destroy a plan? planet. Not very often. Yeah, I loved it.

Starting point is 00:04:04 It was not a necessarily narratively complex episode, but impactful nonetheless. You know, we didn't get a whole ton of arcs per se, but we got some death. We got some destruction. That was very cool. Yeah, I enjoyed it. How did you feel? Hear me. Yeah.

Starting point is 00:04:38 That was awesome. That was awesome. That's my favorite one of, I said, I think it's my favorite one of the season. Yeah, it's great. I said it's my favorite one of the season so far.

It's, it's so grand and like this is the whole time it's just like that that icky hell it's weird to like have a episode of television where they go to hell and then they have an episode where they're not in hell but it feels more like you're in hell because of the just all the circumstances and the shit that you're dealing with you know like the big question has been Thrag

Starting point is 00:05:31 what's the deal with Thrag is the Thrag hype real as they pointed out and episode so meta lingling like how you said that's a real word so meta like the you says and it fucking was current i whole time like how can he be crazy than conquest how can't be crazy in conquest you can't even hit this guy in the head you can't hit him in the head he can't hit him in the head he wasn't even scared of the gun i think the gun would bounce off of him and shoot space razor you're right back. And that's how he ultimately goes out. Yeah.

Starting point is 00:06:13 How is he so powerful? I don't even get out. It doesn't make sense. I don't even comprehend now. He's so powerful. He literally built different. How can two Vilcher mites not like even give him a like a slight little like flinch? Like I didn't.

Starting point is 00:06:27 I can't even wrap my fucking head around. It takes no sense. It doesn't even make sense. Why was he not like doing all the action in the last episode? I don't know. And they went to the last planet, he could have single-handedly took care of everyone. He's been storing his energy. He doesn't, you know, he doesn't need to flex.

Starting point is 00:06:45 What's the saying? Like, you speak softly and walk with a big stick and speak softly. Some of that effect was like a Teddy Roosevelt saying. But yeah, he doesn't need to do. Yeah, Teddy Roosevelt are a rap song. One of them to. But yeah, he doesn't need to do all of that because when he knows he can take somebody out in two seconds. Clearly, as he did freaking Thadis, he...

Starting point is 00:07:07 snapped his neck, which is interesting that we don't have him anymore because his whole plan about taking out the viltramites with the virus seemed like it was going somewhere. But now we don't have anybody to leave that possible threat. That's why I like it. That's why I like it, though. Yeah, but now Alan's in charge. Because it seemed like an obvious direction. All right, you're supposed to take out the leader and you're dealing with Thetis is going to be bad. You know, it's going to go all, DeNaris Targary on us.

Starting point is 00:07:37 Yeah. That's a Game of Thrones reference for you guys. I don't have heard of that show, but it's a big one. Best season finale you'll ever see. So it was like what's going to happen, you know, and to take out Theta is completely eliminates one threat, one little piece. In the way that we thought it was going to be unfolded, but it might come back to fruition in some other way, which would be more, you know, a little more narratively complex. because what if Alan is now left with the choice because he's the leader now to have to use that virus and then go against his friend. You think Alan would do that. Come on, man.

Starting point is 00:08:15 What are you showing me? I would do that. Come on. I would hope not. But, you know, he's the guy in charge now. And I feel like this universal threat, he might want to take them out at all costs. You know, and now we're about to head back to Earth, which seems like, you know, all the finalities end on Earth. So with what they just did make sense that the thing that caused Nolan to go soft in their eyes. And Mark's home would be the place that they would go after because they have nothing left.

Starting point is 00:08:46 You know, their home, their sense of being, the thing that they cherish most is now gone. Well, I agree, though, that they should get rid of all the viltramites. Some people are like, it's genocide. I'm like, it's a shit. This is genocide. It's fucking the worst people. Oh yeah, no, they definitely die. They're evil as hell.

Starting point is 00:09:08 Their method for a funeral to cleanse was just fucking start killing each other. Yeah. They're ridiculous. It's so logical. It's not logical, honestly. Their logic is not logical. No, don't make no sense. They don't get why they do something so stupid.

Starting point is 00:09:25 He had this hope of restoring his people. I'm like, you only got six people. He had two women in there. And you got six people. You're just going to repopulate with the, just the two of them? But possibly. But I think when looking at Mark, that's when you see the possibility. Oh, yes.

Starting point is 00:09:42 Because Mark is the Nolan offspring. And it shows there's a way. There's a way to continue the Vilchram bloodline. Yes. But I wonder. That's why all them are going to Earth for orgies. Yes, yes. Because they were like, oh, we're dying out.

Starting point is 00:09:58 We need to find a new way. What's more? What's palatable? I'm going to destroy Earth. going to get some hero gasm. No, that's going to be.

Starting point is 00:10:08 Oh, I can't even think of what the hell they're planning. I, because with six of them, they could probably go through Earth

Starting point is 00:10:40 Yeah. That visual, the visual, though, when they were destroying the planet and the way they got, like, a little scientific about it, as they were, like, breaking the barriers of the atmosphere and stuff. Oh, lava coming up and explosion. I was awesome. It was so long in the way they did it. They really let you feel, like, the gravity of it, the weight and just how it. fucking hard it is to do it.

Starting point is 00:11:06 They're superheroes and they let you they're super beings and they let you really feel the struggle to go through it. That was an insane moment. It's crazy to have like all that gore

Starting point is 00:11:16 and then the standout moment is like, man, the way they visualized them destroying the planet was fucking nuts. Yeah, this, this reminds me a lot of Dragon Ball Z

Starting point is 00:11:24 in the sense of you know, we're getting a space fights and see Atlantic destroyed. Dragon Boz, you know, that one little Loki

Starting point is 00:11:32 indie anime that you know that would like have a handful of both of ball of horror yeah yeah

Starting point is 00:11:58 it was the choreography was great it was Weird and also I don't know if haunting's the right word, but to see Omni Man so weak and that was the guy who was the big threat in that first season had us freaking out.

Starting point is 00:12:14 This is insane. I can't even imagine if they're already struggling 2V-1ing this guy. How the hell are six of them going to go? How the hell of the rest them going to go against these six? Ah, ah.
