More on them and just a bit.
Now at this point, I think I'm stalling because I'm scared.
Is there anything else we have to tell them?
No, no.
I think we're ready to rock and roll.
No, Greg, I'm not ready.
Can't make me.
You can't be.
All right, let's watch.
Let's go.
Yeah, God, that was wild.
I mean, that was.
Okay, well,
While Greg and I are taking a moment to breathe, you guys, don't forget if you're on Apple, Spotify, like.

Greg.
Really quick, Roxy.
We got to time ourselves.
What time is it?
How much, what's, when do you, how much time do you got comfortably?
Less, I had 10 minutes ago.
needed was supposed to leave so oh shit okay we'll be efficient we have to be efficient all right
let's do it you go first that's what i was doing yeah my bad i feel i'm trying to um i man this
movie was absolutely brilliant danny roebuck um do you feel like this was 10
chris jericho 10 times creepier than the first two i suppose i think nothing really quite
tops the shock of where it went for just the grim shockness of that first one we talk about
the virgin slice um but in terms of like what they actually went and did gory wise i was like oh no
this one definitely tops that because there is like close-ups and and don't say it the cruelty i would
say is to the next level because you're torturing families and and children psychologically on top of
physically you know and you're literally ruining a family holiday as this like sinister grinch infecting
the town and while also praying on sienna who is trying to overcome trauma and move forward
and incapacitating her from doing so so i think like what damien leone has excelled that especially
with this franchise but this one was using the aesthetic and setting of christmas to make it
like the family vibe, family setting, and truly taking it seriously where I think most movies
that would do like a Christmas horror movie would make it a little bit more tongue and cheek,
a little bit more funny.
Like he really played on the sinister side of ruining the whole day.
And while also reminding us that Christmas is supposed to be linked to Jesus Christ and using
a lot of like more overtly religious things involving demons and Virgin Mary and Christ and
the crown of thorns and making fun of savior like i thought this was like a bleak sinister mess i do have
a little bit of an opinion about um why i still might prefer the second one as a movie and that has
to do specifically with the way the movie ends on this one but what do you think sorry i was just like
trying to do a quick quick thoughts recap um i think that it was really smart to make us care about
the characters a lot this time i cared about the mom i cared her aunt
I cared about the girl Gabby.
Greg, take or leave him.
But even the roommate of her brother in college, who was standing up for them,
like, you don't want to do what you're doing.
Don't, it's a horrible moment to make them relive.
Like, so the deaths hurt much more this time than they've previously hurt,
which I thought was really smart.
And I also think the first movie, we know we think of the Vaheen slashing.
The second movie, we.
we, because these movies are really a lot about the kills.
The second movie, we think of the girl in the bedroom who was scalped.
And that's like the thing that really stands out.
And then also the penis situation.
This movie, I don't even know how you would begin to say which of the kills was the most intense.
There's the rat one.
There's the shower scene.
There's an opening death scene with the little girl and us seeing the,
little boy's body in the bed like there's just so many there's the scene where she's using
trying to watch the words her using the knife on herself that's maybe the hardest one yeah there's
the mirror scene it's the least visual one at the same time but you see the you see the drippings
of the mirror scene so there's that scene I mean there's just so many so in all ways I think that
this movie said, it elevated with the, it elevated with the actual horror, it elevated with
storytelling, the script was a lot tighter, the dialogue was better. I feel like our main,
what's the main actress's name? Lauren, I forget her last name. It's an alliteration.
Okay, Lauren. Lavera, I want to say.
Lauren is, I feel like, so comfortable in this role now. She is just really, really good.
She's an amazing final girl. I honestly think as much as art goes down,
down as like this new wave of monsters and he you know he's kind of solidifying himself with
the uh freddie kruger and michael meyers of the world i feel like she is solidif sienna is
solidifying herself as a final girl she's so a unique one good um so yeah i just think that
that that's phenomenal and then even gregg i think was something that was so brilliant that
I think you might have a quam with, but what we do with her brother,
this movie is unpredictable.
You and I both were like, well, I was like, that's the brother's head.
And then you were like, no, they're not going to kill the brother off screen.
I was like, oh, yeah, of course they're not going to do that.
But they did.
This movie doesn't let you know where it's going, doesn't let you know what it's going to do.
We thought that the guy on the wall was the guy, the roommate.
Guess what?
It was Greg.
Like, this movie stays ahead of you the entire time.
just I thought it was awesome yeah I think I liked it a lot I thought was great and I think Lauren
Lavera's performance in in this movie was stronger than the last one um because like her her struggle
to keep herself composed while desperately asking for help and trying not to off put anyone
while having this rise in fear and anger like there was such a complexity to her emotions throughout
and the catharsis towards the end
I thought was really cool in the fight
I guess my one thing
that's like the tiniest thing is like
I feel like this one really doesn't
I still feel like Terrifier 2
actually completes a story
and ends where you really don't need
while there's a cliffhanger
for the post credit scene
you don't really need to see a Terrifier 3
whereas I think for this
it ends in a way where
I don't feel like the story actually finished
you know and like art goes off the it's Gabby's missing there's not really like a I guess like the
the art for Siena she loses everything but it's not really like a crystal it's not as defined of an
arc I would say I kind of feel the opposite oh really yeah because in the last one the last thing
we see is this girl give birth to the head of art but that was like a post credit scene he was
still the movie that's true but I still think and also even that I was like wait I don't get like
where is he the heaven the hell aspect of it all
This one, I feel like really, if we never did another movie, which I hope we do.
But if we didn't, he got free.
She lost everything.
And she, like, we really are seeing her now.
I just think that was the finishing chapter of she has nothing left to lose.
That's fair.
It would have been a repeat.
It would have been a repetitive beat.
For her to kill him.
Yeah, if she killed him and it ends her.
That's fair.
Your might have actually changed by my mom.
But I do hear you where maybe flipping these where it's like the second one,
maybe she can't actually kill him but the third one she does because I just I do think you hit
the nail on the head just now repetitive beat I was hoping she doesn't just kill him into the wall
and then we have to bring him back for a fourth because it's like we already did that um what was
the budget on this two mill I think it was two million I thought that this looked like a 25 million
dollar movie yeah he knows how to spend every dollar so brilliantly he knows how to shoot so well
to the point where every movie gets an increase in budget and every movie looks more expensive
than the budget that he's allotted.
And then the music with the Christmas music was like just the perfect tone for this.
I've always thought Christmas music is very eerie.
Yeah, I think there can be a bit of a darkness to Christmas music.
And I think he captures that really well sometimes with just a pure sense of irony.
And I think the one who plays Victoria, it was really cool to keep her around for this trilogy.
Is it the same actress?
I believe so.
I hope so, because she crushed it.
Yeah, I thought she was really sinister.
like how it becomes like a natural born killer, serial killer couple type of dynamic where
before it's like it's the little girl is a little is a very different dynamic as opposed to
having Victoria who actually speaks and is really involved in the actual hands on with the killing.
So I thought that was very effective.
Yeah, this one unsettled me quite a bit.
I was like kind of just like clenched out for like the last 30 minutes.
When you think about this movie, which of the scenes are you going to remember the most?
For sure, the shower one.
for sure that that's the number one
and I'd probably go to the ending with the fighting
of the like with the sword
that might be the number one
that was just the most like in your face graphic
like you can see everything that's going on
which one
the shower
the whole locker room scene I would say
her head in Greg's stomach
but the rat I think is the thing I'm going to think
of the rat crawling down the tube
creatively
yeah
Reject Nation
I never really concerned
I consider myself a sports guy.
I know so many people who are in this sports.
So many people who watch this channel are into sports.
My wife, into sports.
Sometimes it feels emasculating while she yells at the TV and I don't know what's going on.
Why that feels emasculating?
That's more to do with me than her, that's for sure.
But anyway, the peer pressure got me to find a way to find fun with sports.
And if you're looking for a fun and simple way to get into daily fantasy sports,
let me introduce you to prize picks.
It's America's number one daily fantasy app with over 5 million active members.
And honestly, it's the only one I've ever used.
But for everyone who I know who has used fantasy sports things he's before, says this is the easiest one they've ever used.
My wife included, and the misses is never wrong.
All you do is pick more or less on player stat projections.
Like how many yards your favorite QB?
That's not for a quarterback, by the way.
We'll throw, or how many points a star player will score.
You can pick between two and six players, and if you get them right, you win.
Even I can comprehend this, and I'm not the smartest guy.
And like I said, it's easy to get started, and it's easy to use.
A lot of emphasis on the easy.
Here's one easy example.
So at the time of recording this, we just bet on Jordan Love, Jaden Reed, and Joe Burrow.
Consulted with John. John knows more about sports than me.
So really, this was his decision.
So let's see if he'd take this whole operation.
Or if we're filthy rich now.
Great thing if one of your players ever gets injured.
Price picks has an injury insurance policy.
I could use some health insurance in my own life.
So your lineup stay in play rhymes, bars, baby.
And if you miss one pick, you can still cash out thanks to their unique flex play option.
It's available in most states, including California, Texas, and Georgia.
download the price picks app today. Use code rejects and get $50 instantly when you play just
$5.00. There's a lot of fives in this shoutout. Five dollars, $50, $5 million members. It's like
the number 23. But anyway, you don't even have to win to get the bonus. Isn't that awesome?
Price Picks, run your game. Get into Daily Fantasy Sports like this expert over here.
Man. Yeah. I mean, I feel like we could talk about this and theorize for a long time,
but unfortunately it was my fault. There was something that went on with the camera.
So we got a...
That's fine.
I'm just going to take one of your power bars.
I've decided that will be what I do.
No, I mean, you have to drive there, don't you?
Yeah, I do, but I need to be...
I was...
I will still give you a power bar.
You can drive over and I want to make sure you want to do it.
It's at 6.30, so it...
Okay.
I don't know how long it takes.
Well, now I ran out of thoughts.
No, we're done.
We're done anyway.
I mean, do you have theories?
If I can squeeze two more minutes out of you.
My theory is that we really need to go to hell.
We have to get back Gabby and we have to get the sword.
Wow, we're holding on to that.
So it was crazy.
And if we want to defeat Terrifier, we either have to go to hell and get that stuff
or we have to bring him to hell and defeat him in his own playground.
Yeah, I feel like there has to be a point where...
Did you mean predictions?
That's not really a theory, I guess.
I just gave a prediction.
I think they made the lore a little...
They don't make the lore explicitly clear.
Like the flashbacks with the dad were just kind of seeing what we already knew, right?
Like with the whole, he's drawing and he knew that this would have.
happened to some extent and he was so while we saw like it was it was it wasn't really an
ad on of information I there was no post credit for this there's no post credit at least from
what we bought yeah but the VOD but the um not the VOD the the brother with exploring more
of demonology gave a little bit more insight into using vessels that keeps art around but I feel
like vessels are kind of like never ending so I don't know how you would ever properly get
rid of art the clown and it's one of those things where uh i heard denzil say it in a jami fox
interview he said if you drink if you drink too much water you'll drown and that means like something
if you like this is going much of a good thing is not a good thing yeah so this is going be this is going
so this is going so yeah art the clown is one of those friend is uh horror characters who could
have like a freddie kruger franchise where it was like there's like 10 to 20 of these movies but i'm like i don't i'm not
sure if you want to do that because it's so strong i agree one of the things that i saw was a line
of his which it's hard to say that there even is a line but we don't see the kids get killed on
camera so the first kid oh is that is really oh yeah right you don't and then the kid have we
never seen it happen well i don't know maybe like a kid i don't mean teenagers because maybe we
saw might be too far um but i don't think we watch like when they when he goes upstairs and we see
him kill the mom and dad we don't see him kill the little boy timmy and then we do see him
with the girl in the cabinet but we don't see him kill the kid and then with her brother who's
in college so a teenager but we see his head but we don't see him kill him okay so yeah that's
good point that's that's one thing he could do why don't you find some fun facts for us to react
to okay here we go director damien leon said that several big studios showed interest in
financing this movie based on the unexpected successive terrifier two even without a full
script but he turned them all down because he's certain that they would never let him film the
opening scene alone which he describes as very controversial beyond commented that the only reason that
he can be so uncompromising is in his depiction of horror and gore is because he finances his movies
independently creates all the special effects himself to keep cost down and has no big studio
breaking down his neck to make the movie more mainstream there's no way a studio would ever
yeah ever yeah impossible yeah completely legendary makeup artist john uh sorry
Caglione Jr., most famous for working on Dark Knight's Joker makeup, told Damien Leone he was a fan of
Terror Fier 1 and 2 and offered to work on the film, which Leon quickly accepted.
Oh, perfect.
That is awesome.
The Rat Tube scene truly made Art the Clown actor David Howard Thornton nauseous and he had to prevent
himself from throwing...
No way.
He actually got nauseous?
Yeah, I would too.
First horror film since saw 3 to receive the 18 rating in France.
No one under 18 admitted equivalent to NC17 in the United States.
Wow.
Yeah, I don't understand that.
Yeah, really good, really good.
And I just wanted to see the box office really quick because that's what everybody's talking about.
So, let's see.
Okay.
It's highest grossing movies list, $5 million behind Joker 2, which is, did that movie do well?
yeah man this movie's making a shit ton of mine how much did you see uh why isn't any of the internet stuff working
i don't know we'll have to look you guys tell us in the comments you know i must have got shut down
i must have done something illegal oh well and then we're gonna get out of here okay uh Greg
we will see you guys for terrifier four and for a million things in between then and thank you
for going on this journey with us it was absolutely disgusting and terrifying say the least later rejects
bye
Brian Perry.
If there's anybody who I'd like to take a meat cleaver to
straight down the gentles all the way to the head,
oh man.
Wowie.
It would be you, my friend.
I would love to make myself just gag and vomit from the torture that I
inflict on you because it's reached a point now where it's just funny.
Yeah.
It's funny watching this hard level of
depravity and gore and violence.
And I want to inflict that on you
because that's the movies and television shows do.
They influence you to take action.
I can't tell the difference anymore.
And now I got to take it out on you, Brian Perry.
You're going to be the turkey I am carving into all kinds of pieces this Thanksgiving.
Eli Roth style.
That's not talking about it.
It was a beginning to play to Brian.
That's gross.
Oh, wow.
I bet you taste good.
something worse so
hack you up
back you
I'm Brian
