Like pretty fun
Rejectation I'm gonna interrupt this video just for a tiny bit to tell you that we were so inspired by this movie
It's suddenly got our creative juices flowing and now we suddenly have three new
Inspired teas at reject nation shop comm can't wait to share them with you guys the first one up right here being kind is punk
Rock might have heard a few of us already talking about that theme of punk rock and being kind is such a big part of the
Heart of this movie. I'm so glad that we got Alyssa B.
Krazy to design this for us.
It is a fantastic representation of the vibes and the fun of this film.
And of course, the theme as well.
Another one that we got the Krypton sunscreen from the Mind of Aaron
Alexander artist, Joanne and Alyssa B.
Krazy combined their efforts here.
It is a throwback to that classic sunscreen design, but I feel like it is so
emblematic of the type of vibe
that Crypto and Superman have in this movie together.
And the third one, weirdly personally, my favorite.
Hi, my name is Gary.
If you guys have seen the movie, you get the reference.
And for some reason, it ended up being my favorite one.
I absolutely love it.
And I hope you guys love either one of these.
If you're able to buy any one of them,
it is an amazing way to support the channel,
support the artists here as well.
We get a lot of weird monetization issues
that I've heard many YouTubers probably talk about it,
and it is a very real thing.
So it's a great way to offset some of it,
and hopefully you guys get something in return
that you enjoy rocking,
and it's the way you become a righteous reject.
So become a righteous reject today
by buying any one of these tees.
I can't wait to be wearing these throughout the year, and I hope you guys can't wait to be wearing them as well. Thank you so, so, so much. We're gonna go back to the video now.
Alright, Peacemaker Season 2 trailers here.
I'm excited for this. I'm excited for this.
Thanks to all of them buying our Superman Spider Apparel, by the way.
What did you think of the trailer, John?
This was really fun. This, I mean, you know, Peacemaker Season 1 was like a lovely surprise.
Not that I didn't expect to have a lot of of the trailer, John? This was really fun. I mean, you know, Peacemaker season one
was like a lovely surprise.
Not that I didn't expect to have fun with it,
but I think the level of quality and nuance
along with all the hijinks and stuff
certainly struck people.
And this looks like a fun build on top of that
while also embracing and confronting the idea that we are porting this over from a
collapsed universe and now collapsed universe and so you know having both direct stakes leading out of the suicide squad
but also having what I'm sure will be some set of circumstances that allows for you know at least Chris peacemaker but also just our little team here kind of trends
mute into you know the DC you it looks really fun and madcap and kind of like potentially
obviously I don't know but it looks like the kind of thing that was definitely like inspired
by circumstance that by its own circumstance it seems like and is like embracing this opportunity
to go a little bit broader you know do
Interdimensional travel and stuff like that in a way that certainly seems like it's gonna do something to peacemaker as a character as well as
You know patch some holes create some fun and games yada yada yada. Yeah, well, how do you feel?
I think it's a really good direction for it to go
It's carrying over character themes
that I recall from the first season.
It's been a couple of years,
but I will rewatch it before going into this,
but carrying over some themes of self-acceptance
that Chris is clearly having a hard time with.
As pointed out in this trailer,
I like the idea of a guy who,
after doing something heroic and creating some friends,
the past just has this way of like, it can't stop haunting
you, it can't stop catching up to you.
Now, already haunted by the death of Rick Flagg Jr.
Now he's got senior on his ass who wants to bring him down.
We saw in the other trailer, as he's
trying to become a real hero, he's
not getting accepted into the Justice gang. And the idea of like, I want to escape my own reality, you know,
how often do people fantasize about that? I know I do. I want to get away from my own reality. And
what if there's an alt world where my life was this, but at the end of the day, that's still
fake. It's not your real life. It's not your world. It's not your reality. You're still like,
while I believe in the idea that you create your own reality, it still isn't yours. You're not
actually content. You're still bringing you wherever you go. And doing this circumstantially
is not going to be the thing that allows you to escape. So I like how while this trailer is a lot
of fun and there's a lot of crazy like multiverse stuff, I imagine you'll get some cool little Easter eggs through opening those doors and whatever like we
saw with the crazy skull shot and everything like that looks cool but you
know it makes sense why Chris and Hardcore aren't together right now when
he hasn't accepted himself still and he still hasn't forgiven himself for so
much and that's why I feel like by the end of the season they'll probably get
together where he realizes
he can have an opportunity with her.
And they can tell each other they love one another and such.
But yeah, that's what I'm feeling with this.
I think there's a lot of really cool themes here about,
even the parallel of John seeing as learning
how to forgive himself, and then Rick Flagg,
senior will probably have to learn how to forgive peacemaker. Yeah yeah
absolutely and I mean you know just like the little visual. There's also Robert
Patrick comes back too. Yeah. In that multiverse world so yeah it's
probably a forgiveness of your dad as well. Yeah. There's a lot of different like
I think this season is gonna be about forgiveness, basically. It's a great pull. It's a great, I don't mean, you know...
It's in the trailer, right?
Well, yeah, but I don't know, like, you know, it's not usually what people are digging for in these situations.
And yeah, like an overarching season theme, I could definitely see that forgiveness.
And yeah, letting go of the, you know, bargain delusion of, oh, if just this one thing, then my life would be great or I would be happy.
And yeah, I mean, I could only imagine
we might meet, you know, a different,
maybe more benevolent version of, you know,
his father or something like that,
see what might have been if he wasn't such a,
you know, evil, racist asshole or something like that.
And yeah, I mean, you certainly get a couple
of at least intimate shots peppered in
to suggest that, yeah, like,
Harcourt and Chris might actually, you know,
make good on what's between them at some point.
And then, yeah, like to see Judo Master back, obviously.
Vigilante is really fun.
And, you know, Tim Meadow is always a joy, you know,
in these kinds of things.
So yeah, like, this brings that same promise of like,
oh, this is probably going to be really fun, really funny. The yeah like this brings that same promise of like oh it's probably gonna be really fun really funny the action like all the fights
look like they're really kind of going out of their way to make them feel like they hit
hard you know. And yeah if again James Gunn has a solid enough track record that this
seems like just another instance of you know a full package meal we can get for the DCU. So I'm really excited
based off of this. Man me too man. Can't wait. Cannot wait. What'd you guys think about the trailer?
